Since the first picture made me kinda sad, I felt like I had to let the scene end on a more hopeful note.

Also this whole comic is heavily influenced by me listening to the Titanic soundtrack and ‘Avalon’ by Roxy music. Like, I’m picturing Snape standing on the balcony, looking at the school grounds bathed in morning sunlight, his hair flowing in the wind, and ‘Rose’s theme’ is blasting from my EarPods.

Is it cheesy? Is it dramatic? Yes. Am i ashamed of it? Hell na.

Yule Ball AU "Shall We Dance, Miss Granger?"

"Professor Lupin!" called Hermione. "Glad to see you".

“Oh, hello”, he was a little bit embarrassed, giving her a friendly smile. "By the way I'm not your professor anymore."

"I'm sorry."

For a moment her eyes went blank. Lupin noticed it and immediately tried to correct the situation.

"You're charming, Hermione", his delicate gaze outlined her silhouette. “You’ve grown up and… look beautiful”

The compliment from his mouth sounded especially nice. Doubts about her own recklessness was gone. But the words just didn't come out.

“Thanks”, she drawled, biting her lower lip contentedly. "Maybe… I hope you're not busy, I'd like to…"

Trembling all over, Hermione froze and suddenly looked at him bravely.

"Will you dance with me?"

Her request was truly embarrassing for Lupin – Hermione didn't even doubt it. But she couldn't know for sure and secretly hoped that he wouldn't find anything reprehensible in this. Just a dance among the same dancing couples. His face was calm, slightly surprised, but not at all striving for an objection. He almost did this step.

Music stopped. Unexpectedly and treacherously. Applause blew up the heated air.

"And now let's greet our champions again!" Dumbledore's voice came from behind her.

"Hermione!" Victor appeared out of nowhere next to her. "Let's go?"

She glanced at Lupin with disappointment.

"It's fine", he said reassuringly. "We'll definitely dance another time".

Fate has a bad sense of humor. She had already become a habit of deceiving expectations. A year later they no longer met in the magnificent decoration of the hall but in the dark corridors of Grimmauld Place: there was hardly time for dancing. At the wedding of Bill and Fleur he walked around the tent and appeared inside only a couple of minutes before the invasion of the Death Eaters. Every new opportunity was doomed.

She danced with many people: with Ron, with Harry, with Dean Thomas at the anniversary of the victory, with Mr. Weasley at Ginny's wedding, with someone else… Many years have passed, many holidays, many dances with the wrong partners. Only this little stupid unfulfilled desire still did not go from Hermione's head. Someday… And she did not even hope.

"Miss Granger?"

Hermione turned at the voice and faced the owner of the inevitably boyish smile. She would recognize it everywhere. As well as this palm extended to her in invitation.

“Probably this promise was delayed for about ten years”, Lupin remarked ironically. "However, I will take a chance"

"You haven't called me 'Miss Granger' for about ten years", Hermione chuckled, slowly answering. "What's the matter, professor?"

“Exactly,” he smirked. "Subordination is an important part of teaching. Especially with younger colleagues. Still, I don’t want to fail, especially in front of competitors. Everyone tries to take you away."

“Well, then you should hurry up."

"Right."

Squeezing her fingers, so thin and weightless compared to his, he pressed them to his chest – to his faithful and ardent heart.

"Shall we dance, Miss Granger?"

"With great pleasure, sir."

I need help finding this fic! I remember reading it once but never got a chance to finish it.

Hermione has a stalker that send her letters but she brush it aside thinking it was nothing until the letters become more threatening so she went to the dmle with a box full of the letters she kept to give it to the aurors (which is harry, ron and draco)

And harry and ron got mad at her for not telling them sooner and i think draco is assigned as her bodyguard?

1. When it comes to being known as Harry potter's child, James, Albus and Lily have different attitudes towards it, James thinks that because he is Harry's son he deserves special treatment (i also headcanon him as smart, popular great with magic, so his ego is like very high) Albus hates being known as Harry's son, not because he hates Harry but because he wants to be his own person, Lilly doesn't really care

2. Dominque is a painter

3. Albus sucks at 99% of magic, but the one area he exceeds is duelling. He is insanely talented at duelling, especially when defending himself

4. Hugo never knew what he wanted to do career wise, posthogwarts, but one day, he gets tricked into going into the forbidden forest alone and has a near death experience and is saved by a magical creature so he decides to dedicate his life to the care of magical creatures

Draco braced himself to the incoming barrage. His mouth dry, he swallowed hard and got to his feet.

Theo shoved Blaise out of the way and yelled, "You rotten wanker."

He had always been the tallest. The gangly man had hit another growth spurt. His dirty blonde hair was cut short, and he narrowed his clear blue eyes at his best friend.

Theo instructed Blaise sternly, “Grab him and hold him still so I can kick his nuts.”

He added angrily, “You turn up after all these years, you fucking arsehole.”

A high pitch voice hurled, “Do you have any idea what you've put us through?”

Heels clicked impatiently against the marble floors, and everyone ground their teeth.

Pansy hadn't changed much except she looked like she stepped out of Witch Weekly Magazine with her short bob, stylish pleated pants, manicured nails and a fashionable silk shirt.

Draco put his hands up in surrender and backed away slowly, "Calm down." He went to stand behind a rather sturdy cushioned armchair. The more distance he put between himself and the enraged frothing woman, the better for his wellbeing.

Blaise walked behind the impulsive duo with a happy grin and his hand out.

He was an inch shorter than Draco but broader and built. His chocolate brown skin was gorgeously tan, and his green-tinged ears lit up happily at the sight of his long-lost friend.

Pansy choked back a sob, "You miserable worm. Do you have any idea how worried we've been?"
