Do you think Qotd has already happened, right? Will it be told as a flashback and by who? And what do you think Rolin meant when he said that Louis' role will be more clear in s2? Many people think that he was referring to Qotd storyline.

I think it could have happened already, yes. (I wrote something to that effect a while back, too).

Personally I would love it, if we would get a mix of Daniel (remembering), and Lestat, Armand and Louis there in Dubai... you would have all the important POVs present, AND it would be a nice way to introduce Marius at a certain point. Flashback-wise it could be by them all (and sometimes contradicting and bickering about that?! I'd LOVE that, lol).

As per Louis' "role"... I think that has to do with the elaborate play he and Armand are doing there for Daniel (or have done). Why does Louis do that is the big question after all :)

I know a lot of people think that refers to the QotD story line, but for me neither Louis' state of mind, his powers, Armand's powers, Fareed, or Marius' painting in their shared apartment fit that. Nor do Claudia's diaries. I know, I know they do their own thing but... I've said it before: for changing so many things? They're surprisingly close to the book IWTV so far. And they have said that they would arrive at all the important bits, albeit differently.

The episode insider and cast diaries often addressed the book fans... the paintings, the Book of Hours, etc. I think them calling it "easter eggs" instead of hints may have been a try at not giving the game away too soon, especially since the season was split in half and the first arcs are still ongoing.

🤔 One could argue that free will doesn't exist. 🌌️✨ That everything in this universe was predetermined since the beginning (if there was one). That every atom and every molecule was bound to behave exactly the way it did, conforming to the laws of physics. So everything that ever happened couldn't have happened any other way. 🧬 From the first formation of life through chemical reactions to billions of years later, today. But hey, at least we're capable of thinking about things like that if we 'choose' to do so. We could also just carelessly enjoy the time given to us without deeper thoughts about our existence.
