Top 3 fandoms

(basing this off those I actually engage with the most, bc I am a lurker in way too many fandoms at once tbh 😹)

1. Spatort/Tatort Saarbrücken (German crime TV show that is technically for boomers. There are many diff editions of this show, each based on a diff city here. And this one has two leads that have a very fascinating backstory with eachother and that has captured the hearts of many German Tumblr users 😹💕)

-> okay, tbf, I haven't been super active in that one lately, but the yearly new episode will come out at the end of January and I prob won't shut up about it for at least a week!

2. The Amazing Devil

-> yes, they are a band, so idk if it really counts as fandom; but I do check that tag at least every other day and am always in awe by the cool stuff a lot of ppl are making!

3. Community

-> one of my fave shows of all time and I love regularly checking the tag to see what sillyness the others in the fandom have been up to!

Honestly, writing these down has just made me realize, how much more active I am on Smoshblr, than I have been in any fandom that came before it... Y'all truly mean so much to me 🫶

Top 3 ships

(basing this on how much fanfic I've read about each of them)

1. Spirk!!!

-> the OGs!! Nothing can top that ship for me, genuinely; they just have everything!!

2. Stucky

-> Am I still extremely bitter about endgame? Yes. However if I even see so much as a snippet of fanfic about them (especially the shrinkyclinks dynamic) I am immediately drawn to ao3

3. Trobed

-> they bring me so much joy and pain at the same time. And honestly? What more could I want from a ship 🫶💔 (I might never recover from the "I had to patch up parts of your DNA with genes from a homing pigeon - you may notice side effects, like a compulsion to come back" and "It needs to be okay for it get on a boat with levar Burton and never come back" lines...)

Helloooo! For the wip thing, how about sabriel fake dating? :)

Hi!! So Sabriel fake dating is pretty much what the title says - Sam and Gabriel pretend to be dating. For completely logical, altruistic reasons, of course. 😌

There's also Saileen in this story, because ultimately my agenda is always Sabrieleena polycule endgame.

Have a snippet of the beginning:

“You're dating who?!” Dean asks, sounding like someone just insulted Baby, or said that cake is better than pie.

“Gabriel.” Sam gestures to the angel next to him, who has been smiling smugly ever since they agreed to do this.

“'Sup, future bro-in-law,” Gabriel says. When Sam glares at him, his grin just widens. “Yeah, Sammy and I are a thing now, better get used to it.”

“Don't call me that,” Sam mutters.

“And why would you-” Dean gestures to Gabriel, then to Sam. “No, why would you-” Finally, he looks to Cas helplessly, who has been frowning all this time.

“What about Eileen?” he asks, very seriously.

“Oh, it's fine. We're on a, you know, a break. Of sorts. Don't worry about it.” Sam can feel himself starting to sweat. Damnit. He pretty much lies professionally, why is this so hard?

“A break?” Dean seems concerned, but he doesn't say anything more, just glares at Gabriel.

“Congratulations?” Adam says from the table, where he's still playing UNO with Michael. They barely looked up at Sam and Gabriel when they announced they had something to say, and he doesn't look at all bothered by the fact that Sam is supposedly dating the brother of the archangel who is possessing him.

Michael frowns at his cards, then puts one on the pile in the middle.

“Another reverse card?? You have got to be cheating,” Adam complains, grinning when Michael glares at him.

“I don't cheat,” Michael informs him. “... much.”

Adam rolls his eyes, but he's still smiling. It's almost cute, the way the two interact as if they've known each other for years. (Which, okay, at this point they have, even if you don't count how time works in the cage.) The thing is, that's all they're doing – playing games, watching movies, smiling at each other dopily. Sam has never even seen them hold hands, much less kiss, even though there is clearly something between them.

Same for Cas and Dean, really. Even after beating God and getting actual free will, those two are still dancing around each other. Somehow, Sam always thought that once all the obstacles were removed, especially once it wasn't Chuck's story anymore, they would figure it out quickly. But instead it's worse now. Cas seems to be keeping a distance from all of them while he waits for Jack to return from Heaven, and Dean has been throwing himself into hunt after hunt, even though he used to talk about retiring after all the God stuff was over.

And that's exactly why Sam is doing this. Maybe if his brothers see that it's possible to date an angel, they'll finally get their shit together and start doing it themselves.

14. Favorite book you read this year?

umm i don't read much on my own but for school my favorite was probably Ready Player One? we're currently reading a book called Sabriel though and that's been super good...

25. Did you create any characters (in games, art, or writing) this year? Describe one

oooh i can talk about my pokemon character :D his name is Hyacinth and he's a silly little farmer boy who has no fucking clue what's going on. his ace is a shiny mareep named Candy (who i am currently hunting for), and his team rn is Fidough, Sprigatito (who isn't going to evolve), Wooper, Ralts, Mareep, and Fletchinder :) the endgame team tho is shiny mareep, shiny sylveon, shiny fidough, clodsire, sprigatito, and fidough's evo that i can't remember the name of. it's not a mega-effective team but it's his team <3

#tbh i do not read much at all anymore :( i used to read like 50 books a year...#i love my little pokemon oc i do have lore for him #the shiny mareep was a pokemon he found when he was little but it never evolved but now he's dedicated to raising it and using it #as his ace despite it's perceived 'weakness'. his other pokemon are just ones he found while out and about aside from sprigatito #who he did receive in the canon way of 'was given to him as a starter'. his eevee/sylveon he found injured and healed up #the shiny fidough is just bc i wanted a little burnt crepe man. that one has no lore reasoning. i just wanted it #(he uses a fidough anyway i just rlly like the shiny coloration)#anyway hi sage can you tell i've been playing a lotta pokemon lately
