Alcaryn

This lady is the mother of Orliandra Stoneflower, my faun paladin (making her a half-elf (eladrin in D&D), half-faun) and have been brought up in her background and the D&D sessions where I have played as Orliandra. Directly descended from the original elves, Alcaryn could have been the queen of the elves but instead chose to spend her time studying magic to master the control over the forces of magic as a witch queen (which she considers a fancier role despite the elf queen being in rule). She married a noble elf named Toron Moonglade and had two children with him and when that man tragically died one day she then married a faun named Dumas Stoneflower who made her pregnant with seven kids, one of them being Orliandra who by the age of 12 lost her father to a war. That loss made Alcaryn overprotective of her children which turned her sour when some of them decided to go out for their own careers, including Orliandra who chose to become a paladin and even used books from her mother's library which she wanted to keep for herself despite how they could be helpful for others. Now the witch queen lives by herself and a few servants as she tries to master the mightiest of spells so that no one may take over her territories or threaten her or her family (even if she still think some of them could have chosen a way in life she approved of). You're probably wondering about the old and new forms of her. Well, the old elf design was something I sketched a while ago to give an image for the DM and other players years ago and I made her new design a saluki because for my fantasy setting I have decided that elves will now be anthropomorphic salukis. Why saluki specifically? They're the oldest race of dog that still exists, dating back to ancient Egypt and possibly also to the ancient civilizations of Sumeria and Babylon. Quirk = Snow Sage [Yuki-onna physiology/powers, has cold-powered artillery that is part of their body and can be vanished at any time for convenience.]

Extra = Capable of combining quirk and learned skill to perform Touhou-style danmaku based on formulae & equations.

More Extra = Black light powers (similar to Glory Regnar's powers, taught by mother who has a quirk that grants 4 disembodied wings that are said to be impervious [they aren't] and light-based powers. Galeem as a quirk, basically.)

Costume = Imagine the spirit/avatar of Greatest Raphael/Glory Regnar as clothing/armour minus the head, tail and shimenawa parts (Colour scheme switched to white, lavender purple, dark purple, black, teal, ice-blue & ice-white.)] Alternate outfits exist too, because I'm indecisive. Outfits made from special material, protective but soft and flexible.

They call their moves 'Genesis Crown', etc. as opposed to 'Glory Crown' seen in the Beyblade Burst series.

Naturally maintains a chilled air around their body constantly to prevent overheating, sometimes faint cold air is made visible surrounding the space directly around their body. Does best in cold environments especially those filled with ice and/or snow.

***The artillery looks just like the sort that Admiral Graf Spee has. AGS used as basis due to personality and colour scheme reasons. The red is exchanged for lavender.

****Things like swords, chainsaws and other quirks have no effect if they strike the exoskeleton. Unless the attacking force is heat-based, in which case it very much can as long as the heat in question is further above normal body temperature than Clarkov's coldness is below 10C.

5 headcanons: The Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show AU

Hoo boy the most knowledge I have about this is that one improv movie Best in Show XD. (And it's been a while since I even watched that)

--Kayla is a dog trainer. She works with Carrie and her Saluki, Caramelle. Carrie is known as an ice queen and became a bit of a recluse (after the death of her father-few are privy to this bit of knowledge). No one can figure out why Kayla-well known for her friendliness-insists on sticking with Carrie.

--Alex and Willie have never been in a show before. The only reason they even try is because their Pyrenean Shepherd, Bowie, was a gift from Caleb. And Caleb kinda pushed them into it.

--Julie and Flynn actually go to the show in support of Victoria and her Norfolk Terrier, Saffron. The two feel a little out of their element but enjoy all the dogs. Plus they get to visit NYC.

--They run into Luke who tagged along to support Alex and Willie and Reggie, trainer to Mrs. Harrisons' Bernese Mountain Dog, Wolfgang. Since they are all in the same hotel.

--The show's commentator's are Nick, who doesn't really know much about dogs but does his best, and Bobby, who loves dogs but can not stand people. Nick's commentary is mostly attempts to cover up any off handed remarks made towards the Handlers made by Bobby.

I love the Batfam, so here they are as dogs, because I also love dogs.

Bruce Waye is a Great Dane, tall, strong, can look mean, especially when their ears are cropped like a Doberman, though his aren't. But he's really just a gentle giant who loves his kids and is very very patient.

I know we all characterize Dick Grayson as a golden retriever, but that man is husky, there is no doubt I my mind. He's emotional, over dramatic is his base setting, and he's always down for anything that excites him. And if something makes him annoyed, this man will be very vocal about it and you cannot ignore his temper tantrums.

Barbara Gordon is a German Shepard. Whether as Batgirl or Oracle, she's fierce, loyal, and one she catches onto someone's trail, she doesn't let up and once you're in Oracle's jaws, there's no escape.

Jason Todd is a Doberman, he's loyal, hardworking, caring and cam be very gentle with kids. He was a sweetheart who didn't have his ears cropped until Talia did it for him. But he also knows when to do more than guard, he's an attack dog who's not afraid to do what's necessary, but also knows when to choose kindness over force. Plus he had Dog for a while, so he's good eith other dogs too.

Tim Drake is a sighthound full of grace and beauty, he's a saluki. They're visual based and aren't as fast as a greyhound, but they're good at chasing over a long distance, and if there's something Tim Drake is good at, it's playing the long game. A smart dog for a very intelligent young man.

Stephanie Brown is an Irish setter. She's loyal, friendly, cheerful, compassionate, but she's still a hunting and gun dog who knows when to go get the prey in question. We stan our Robin queen eho loves purple and waffles, and Dog Steph is no exception.

Damian Wayne is a Great Dane and Dobermann mixed breed. But he's a hyperactive, annoying little nutcase who doesn't quite get the gentle giant part of his breed yet, but he's learning. I believe he'd have cropped ears and tail because of Ra's and Talia, which makes him look and help him act even more emenacing, but his real temperament is more Great Dane than anything else, which helps him really embrace being his father's son.

Cassandra Cain is unique, she has Shiva's mutation and is a solid black dalmatian. She's a scary dog with a bad reputation, but really, she's a sweet heart who might get things wrong sometimes, but tries very hard to be a good girl. Even when she's the strongest and fiercest fighter of them all, Cass is docile and loving at heart.

Duke Thomas is a silly nutball of a pit bull who really doesn't know how to be a bad guy or mean. He's friendly, open, and there's a reason he's Gotham's day time hero, because he shines with sun and has the biggest grin whenever he gets to do some good. He'd never hurt a fly, but when it comes to his family, he knows how to protect and fight with the best of 'em.

Alfred is an old staffordshire bull terrier, and no one would survive without this nanny dog who is always exasperated, but loves his chaotic little family.
