I HAVE A GIFT FOR YOUUUUUUUUUU
.
.
.
OK IT’S MY THOUGHTS BUT I CAN’T REALLY AFFORD TO LITERALLY SEND YOU A GIFT RIGHT NOW SO IT’S WHAT YOU’RE GETTING <333 (ily)
okay, so, in my mind, peter (3)’s a trans male, right? and- obviously- I’m not the first person to think this, won’t be the last. but. but. I posted that fic idea a while back about using would’ve could’ve should’ve with this idea as a song fic for peter. imma elaborate on that more, because the idea’s still bouncing around my head.
skip is a piece of trash. we all know this, this isn’t new information. but he is unfortunately the kind of piece of trash that knows how to stick around in your head. so peter grows up, yeah? he moves on (or at least tries to), comes out, transitions, tries to live his best damn life. but somewhere, screaming, crying in the back of his mind, is skip wescott.
he haunts peter, keeps him awake at night, tears streaming down his face as he covers his ears. whispering lies, spewing hatred.
if peter didn’t already have internalized homophobia and transphobia from religious trauma (he’s jewish, but he’s also the biggest atheist you’ve ever met in your LIFE)(wait, no, I take it back, I remembered that harley exists), skip wescott would seal the deal.
and to be clear, peter’s not a girl. he never has been, never will be. but damn if he didn’t want to just be able to say that the girl he pretended to be was his. that even if he wasn’t her, she was still him, and no one could take that from him.
but she’s skip wescott’s. that little girl, standing in the kitchen, afraid to tell her aunt and uncle about the bad things she KNOWS isn’t right. she should be peter’s. the lie should belong to the one who told it, who housed it in their mind and body. and yet, and yet.
anyways. my thoughts. have a good day!!!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I've never really thought about trans!Peter 3, usually trans!Peter 1 BUT NOW YOUVE SAID IT IM OBSESSED!!!!
crying about getting this in my inbox rn

Her favorite sweater – the purple one with the silver stars – was tossed on the floor like it was nothing. That is how she felt then. Like a discarded item of clothing.
The police took her sweater, and she was fine with that.
Penny didn’t like purple anymore. She didn’t like her bedroom anymore either. It wasn’t hers anymore. Nothing was hers anymore – not her room or her body or her favorite color.
Penny Parker’s favorite color used to be purple. But the Avengers don’t know that. Just like they don’t know about Skip.

I have just read what's posted of Spaghetti and Red Wine by arthropodwithapen on ao3, and when I tell you all I am DESTROYED. I am not mentally well.
I can't wait to see more of Clint I need him and Peter in my life. I want that awkward confrontation of 'Hey dude, so I almost killed you, but I PROMISE I didn't know you were a litteral child haha anyway wanna talk about your crippling abandonment issues??"
It's not want it's a NEED
I have many thoughts on this fic, and if anyone shows the slightest bit of interest, I will male a full-fledged analysis. You can't stop me. The brain rot is too strong.

Prompt idea: ( Very different from my normal but I want this right now)
I want Bucky in NY years earlier hiding from Hydra.
I want him hanging in alleys in Queens
I want young Peter ( 11ish?) and Uncle Ben finding a "homeless vet" and taking care of him. Staying with them a few days before they could get him into a shelter. Meeting up with him all the time to help set him up with a job. Set him up in a halfway house before he can afford his own place.
Peter and Ben visiting Bucky at his job.
Inviting Bucky over to dinner once a week.
Ben explaining why Peter is always with him instead of with a babysitter [Skip Wescott abuse]
Peter shyly asking Bucky if he would come to his Bar Mitzvah. ( Peter 13)
Peter bringing Bucky Alpine- he found her in a box in the same alley where they first met
I want Bucky there trying to help stop the robbery and Ben still getting shot.
Bucky consoling Peter. ( Peter 14)
Bucky taking Peter in.
Later once he realizes that Peter is enhanced- training him and to help him hide.
Peter calling Bucky Abba.
Steve finding them and he becomes Pops[ Peter 15]

https://archiveofourown.org/works/51770521 by anxiety_banana Penny doesn't think she'll have to tell anyone. After all, she barely thinks about his hands on her anymore. It's not a problem, not a hindrance, won't get in the way of her functionality among the team. She's wrong about this, but she won't find out until she has to train with Steve, a man who looks just enough like Skip Wescott to hurt her. (AKA, Penny Parker, in a fit of panic, comes to terms with Steve simply existing around her, though it might take some time.) Skip was a wave. He knocked her down over and over again. She would find her footing for a while, only for the waves to come pouring back in. It was easier not to fight it. It was easier to not stand back up, but there wasn’t really a choice.
When you’re drowning, you fight for the surface, even if you know it’s futile, even if there is no hope. Your body will fight for air on instinct.
It was a fact of Penny Parker’s life. One day, he would finally drown her. Each time the waves would knock her down and she would wonder if this was finally it.
That’s the thing about the ocean - it’s relentless.
Really, at this point, it shouldn’t be a shock when the waves came for her, but it always was.

Best written Skip Wescott Fanfics
Peter's got a secret. It's starting to affect his relationship with Tony. Tony vows to figure it out, and he does not like what he finds.
Peter drew in a shaky breath, feeling the burn as tears fell down his cheeks. “I know you want me to be your- your- I don’t know, but I just can’t be that for someone again, it’s so- so much, and you’re married, you have a daughter, and it’s- I’m sorry. It’s just, it’s too- and I don’t even like you like that, I- I’m sorry.”
Now he’d done it, now Mr. Stark would be looking at him with a heartbroken expression, hurt and betrayed and…
Peter looked up at the man only to see nothing but shock and confusion on his features.
“Peter… Do you think that I have… romantic feelings for you?”
“I was nine.”
This is how it starts. This is how the pure, agonizing hatred towards someone Tony’s never known, will never know, begins. This is how the rug is pulled from his feet. With three, seemingly insignificant words
Peter, one hand fisting in the wool of Tony’s sweater, keeps his eyes locked on the television screen and lets Tony do what he does best of all: shield him. He metaphorically laps at his wounds. Slowly eases back into his body, like trying on stiff new denim. Breathes, and at once feels at ease. Peter is here, on Tony’s ugly couch, with Tony, who smells like black coffee and plain Pringles and metal, and Peter is never safer than he is when they’re like this.
Skip’s out of jail and that’s a good thing.
This becomes a sort of mantra, and Peter’s almost able to believe it.
In the privacy of his mind, Ned liked to pretend he could accurately measure his best friend’s sudden switch in a mockery of the abbreviated B.S. and A.S.
Before Skip and After Skip.
There's a scary scar above Peter's hip and Tony is concerned.
"They got me a babysitter," Peter continues, forcibly tearing himself back to the present. He swallows. "His name.. his name was Skip."
He hasn’t said that name in so long that it sounds foreign on his tongue, like a language he was once fluent in but forgot.
He had never, ever expected to see Skip again, not in this lifetime at least. He’d feared it, sure, had nightmares about it, of course, but the rational part of his mind concluded that it wasn’t a very plausible scenario. Not once, never in a million years would he have expected to find that monster in the Starks’ home.
Where did you learn that?” Tony asks, voice raw.
The twiddling stops. That’s all Tony can make out from the outskirts of his line of vision. He’s not ready to lift his head from his hands yet and look at the kid.
“Um, Google?”
“Geez.” The things kids Google these days. Tony has half a mind to ask what drove Peter to search ways to stop a panic attack, but the better part of him leaves the question untouched.

Marvel
Trope: whump
dear mr. fantasy
(ENDGAME SPOILERS. BUT I'M CHANGING THINGS.)
Tony worries his brain is misfiring, transporting him across time and space in one final insane journey. He swallows hard, and he hears those garbled voices again. He can’t make out words, or tone, or who the hell is talking, but somebody definitely is, and it sounds strangely like they’re underwater. Or he is.
He grits his teeth and turns around, and before he can even begin to trudge over towards Peter’s room, he’s stopped in his tracks.
By a door. In the middle. Of the living room. Straight up and down like a monolith, just beside the glass coffee table.
Tony chews on his lower lip and stares at it. “Well that’s new,” he says, still rooted to the spot.
. . . . .
god did not craft us as alters, but as dying gods
Peter Parker is not immune to trauma. Far from it, in fact. (With great power comes great responsibility, Peter.)
So when the building collapses, when the dilapidated remains of metal and concrete, and later searing scraps of plane, fall around him? Well, this is practically nothing. Practically.
He’s fine, really. It just gets a little hard to breathe sometimes. Like, when he follows Happy into Stark Tower through the parking garage. Or when he turns on the news while doing homework and sees reports of a plane crash.
And sure, the small fire that broke out in the chemistry lab had sent his heart racing and caused sweat to bead on the back of his neck until even Ned asked if he was okay, but it’s nothing to worry about. Regardless, he knows where those come from.
But this?
***************************
In which Skip Westcott is a repressed memory, until he returns.
. . . . .
faulty lines of communication
Tony runs into a guy in a bar who gives him some interesting information on Spiderman, who he has fought with but whose face he's never seen.
Unfortunately, the guy is Skip Wescott and the information is wrong. And Tony, blinded with anger, doesn't bother to follow up before acting on it.
. . . . .
scars
Sometimes, traumatic things happen to us, and our brains don’t know how to function in its aftermath.
And so, they shut down. Toss it away. Put it in the back of our minds. Forget about it. Because denial is easier than accepting what happened to be true.
Peter once couldn’t understand how that could be true. But then, Skip Westcott transferred to Midtown High.
But then, Peter began to remember.
And he shut down.
TW: This story centers heavily on sexual assault and the aftermath of it. Please don’t forget to practice self-care before, during, and after reading.
. . . . .
the ass in assassination
Tony vs Assassin
. . . . .
the real superhero
Peter Parker becomes an orphan for the second time over at the ripe old age of fourteen. It's his fault they died. It's his fault he landed himself in this mess. It's his fault he can't seem to keep himself out of trouble. That means he deserves this, right?
Until Mister Stark recruits him, and sees him, and notices. And then does something about it.
. . . . .
to infinity and beyond
“Ben.”
The word freezes Tony in place, and his gaze darts back to Peter’s face. His brow is scrunched, frown turning down the edges of his lips, but his eyes are open. His eyes are open and he’s staring straight at Tony.
But then he says it again. “Ben.”
Written for the prompt 'delirium' for Whumptober 2019.

Nevermind Harley keener or flash Thompson, what about the fics with Skip westcott. Like let him die already. He serves no purpose, but to bring pain.
i am only semi-familiar with the skip wescott phenomenon in fics (bc i filter my tags prodigiously) b u t you're right that it's icky at best and egregiously offensive at worst how mcu fans bring in his character solely to have tony comfort peter about what happened

!!! IT'S NOT STARKER !!!
!!! IT'S COMPLETE AND REVIEWED !!!
Tony Stark and Steve Rogers adopt the amazing and sweet Peter Parker, who has lost all his loved ones. This story will unfold their adventure in building a family of their own after traumatic events. But they will never give up on their son.
//This is just my way to cope and externalize things that have happened to me in the past. I'm so sorry if this offends anyone, it wasn't my intention. This story has characters that belong in the LGBTQIA+ community, if this bothers you, don't bother other people's freedom. This story does not follow the timeline nor the history line of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This story does not contain spoilers from any MCU movie. None of the characters above are from my creation, except for Ginny, and I recognize the copyright law. There are chapters that address topics such as: sexual abuse, suicide, self harm, trauma, depression, self hatred, panic attacks. If any of these topics can be a trigger to you or make you distressed, it's preferable that you don't read them. In case you need help, please, don't suffer alone, you're stronger than you think and you are very loved! Stay strong!\\
