Song Of Solomon 4:7 Seen As Spotless
You are all fair, my love, and there is no spot in you. Song of Solomon 4:7 Having things be spotlessly clean is the desire of many people. Some will clean their car almost every day in order to keep it clean and spotless from any dirt or filth. Clothes are washed regularly to keep them from being dirty. During times of election, candidates are looked to determine how clean their life is in what…

Rules MC Has To Follow in HoL
Lucifer’s Rules for MC in the House of Lamentation.
1. MC is not allowed to play sexy songs that are audible to the rest of the house.
2. Following rule 1, they’re also not allowed to sing and dance along to sexy songs. Rules one and two were originally lower, but after the ‘CupcakKe: CPR’ incident where several walls were destroyed and MC could not walk for two days they were moved to be the top most rules.
3. MC is not allowed to do the other brothers’ chores. Cooking is a slight exception as if they want to cook on a night not theirs, that’s their choice. But Lucifer will not have MC doing the other brothers’ laundry or clean their rooms. It takes too much time and the brothers will use it as an excuse to occupy MC exclusively.
4. MC is not allowed to help Mammon with his schemes anymore. Not after the calendar incident. Lucifer is still unhappy about all the pin ups that MC posed for. Diavolo keeps asking when the next calendar will be done.
5. MC is not allowed to go to the Celestial Realm without a demon or Simeon or Solomon. Lucifer doesn’t trust Michael. At all.
6. MC is not allowed to wear ‘Daisy Dukes’ or anything that short around the house. Levi’s nosebleed took days to clean up from. Barbatos wondered who Satan had killed.
7. MC is not allowed any pets. They have Mammon. Lucifer’s deemed that sufficient.
8. MC is not allowed to break down any more doors. Nor are they allowed to order one of the brothers to break down any doors. No one has busted into their room since the lock was installed. There’s no need to break doors in retaliation anymore.
9. MC is not allowed to carry a second backpack of snacks. Beel has his own backpack just for snacks. Not to mention, it’s bad for their back.
10. MC is not allowed to take anyone other than Asmo into Asmo’s bath. It’s very sweet they wish to have special baths with everyone else, but Asmo nearly ripped Levi’s tail off after finding a lot of scales in there that clogged up the drain. Same with all the fur from Belphagor’s tail.

Return, O Israel, to the LORD your God
1 Return, O Israel, / To Jehovah your God, / For you have fallen by your iniquity.
2 Take words with you, / And return to Jehovah; / Say to Him, / Forgive all iniquity, / And take us graciously; / Thus we will render our lips as bulls.
3 Assyria will not save us; / We will not ride upon horses. / Neither will we say again to the work of our hands, Our God! / Because in You the orphan finds compassion.
4 I will heal their apostasy; / I will love them freely; / For My anger has turned away from him.
5 I will be like the dew to Israel; / He will bud like the lily / And will send forth his roots like the trees of Lebanon.
6 His shoots will go forth; / And his splendor will be like that of the olive tree, / And his fragrance, like that of the trees of Lebanon.
7 Those who sit under his shade will return; / They will revive like grain / And will bud like the vine; / His renown will be like the wine of Lebanon.
8 Ephraim says, What have I yet to do with idols? / I respond and look on him. / I am like a green fir tree; / From Me your fruit is found.
9 Who is wise? / Then let him understand these things. / Who is intelligent? Then let him know them. / For the ways of Jehovah are right, / And the righteous will walk in them, / But the transgressors will stumble in them. — Hosea 14 | Recovery Version (REC) The Recovery Version of the Holy Bible © 2009 Living Stream Ministry. Adaro
Tumblr media
"Goblin Shark ~ Day 10" © Candice Sciortino, accessed at deviantArt here
[This is another "If I Ran the Zoo" monster--the adaro appears in Pathfinder 1e's Bestiary 3. But it's kind of dull. There's nothing wrong with making a mershark, but the adaro has weird magical powers in the lore of the Solomon Islands that should get some due. This is an unusual folkloric monster in that I read about them first in a D&D book, namely the 3.0 3pp Penumbra Fantasy Bestiary. There, they were evil counterparts to tritons, which informed my take, but this isn't a straight up conversion.
Also, this art isn't explicitly an adaro, but I hear "horned shark", I think goblin shark]
Adaro CR 3 NE Medium outsider (native) This creature has a humanoid torso, but the tail and dorsal fins of a shark. Its hands are webbed with long, spindly fingers, and a long horn grows from its face above snaggletooth jaws. It carries a spear in its hands.
In the belief systems of some peoples, the soul isn’t a single entity, but instead is a composite entity. The higher and more civilized soul is what passes into the afterlife for judgement, but the lower animal soul remains behind and incarnates into a new form. The adaro is an example of these incarnations—the distillation of id and impulse, transformed into a shark-like aquatic form. Adaros are selfish and violent, and enjoy bloodshed and suffering for their own sake. One of the few arts they practice other than cruelty is music. Adaros are excellent singers, and may even teach these songs to mortals in order for them to spread farther. Otherwise, they are dangerous creatures best avoided or appeased rather than confronted.
Adaros travel in schools, working together to sink ships, steal catches and otherwise torment those that ply the waters. They can and do fight with their teeth and horns, but prefer to soften up enemies from a distance by magically conjured, venomous flying fish. After a barrage of these poisoned darts, the adaros leap to the fight, charging through the air and creating a rainbow in their wake. In waters where adaros are common, rainbows are seen as an ominous, not hopeful, sign.
Adaros are carnivorous and have long lifespans. They do age and die despite their relationship to soulstuff, and the quintessence remaining in them dissipates directly into the Astral Plane instead of going to an afterlife.
Adaro   CR 3 XP 800 NE Medium outsider (native, water) Init +3; Senses darkvision 60 ft., Perception +7 Defense AC 15, touch 13, flat-footed 12 (+3 Dex, +2 natural) hp 30 (4d10+8) Fort +6, Ref +4, Will +4 DR 5/magic Offense Speed 5 ft., swim 50 ft. This fish is treated as a thrown weapon with a range increment of 60 feet, and ignores all miss chances as if it was a seeking weapon. If it strikes a target, the creature takes 1d6 piercing damage and is exposed to the following poison: flying fish toxin—injury; Fort DC 14; duration 1/round for 4 rounds; effect 1d3 Con damage; cure 1 save. Regardless of whether it hits or misses, the flying fish turns into a mundane animal after being thrown once. The save DC is Charisma based. Rainbow Leap (Su) As a full round action three times per day, an adaro can move up to 10 times its swim speed by leaping through the air. It must begin its movement in a body of water. An adaro can use this ability in conjunction with a charge attack. When it uses this ability, a rainbow is created that passes through the spaces the adaro moved through. This rainbow lasts for one minute, and any character that moves through any of these spaces must succeed a DC 14 Fortitude save or be dazzled as long as they remain in the rainbow, and for 1 round thereafter. The save DC is Charisma based.

Something I did months ago and which has been in my iPhone notes since then, if it interest anyone : book couple x Taylor Swift songs
Lover edition - Part 1 (I also have some for the other albums but I’ll do another post for them ; and it was way to long to post the whole album in one post)
Track 3 - Lover is NeilRowan from Today Tonight Tomorrow (and I discovered making this post that a second book about them is going to be released ???? wild) by Rachel Lynn Solomon. Let’s be honest, Lover could be most couples on this list, but I feel it’s really them at the end of the book (btw I know it’s not really popular, but it’s a really cute academic-to-lovers contemporary romance book with Jewish rep. I read it a long time ago but from what I remember I liked it a lot !)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Track 5 - The Archer is RosalindOrion from the Foul Lady Fortune duology. I hesitated a lot between them and another couple on this list, but cmon. Orion is LITERALLY the archer. It’s perfect. (And it’s from my favorite author, go read Chloe Gong my goddess if you haven’t already). (art by @/imedmi on Instagram)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Track 7 - Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince is Evajacks from the OUABH trilogy by Stephanie Garber. I mean, for me this song is them. No question asked. The pink aesthetic, same colour as Evangeline’s hair ? The Heartbreak Prince and the Prince of Heart ? The whisper in the always like the gossips Jacks almost kills in TBONA (I think ?) ? Run away with you ? Like please. And YES I’m the kind of person to associate every love song with this couple, but this one ? It’s literally them (honorable mention to The Archer and I Know Places, could have been those two as well)(art by @/sashac_art on Instagram)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Track 8 - Paper Rings is LiLo from the Addicted to You series by Krista and Becca Ritchie. The childhood friend to lovers and pure soulmatism of those two ??? They WOULD marry each other with paper rings like when they were kids (if they weren’t, yk, rich af). My favorite couple in the core 6, they are very very cute (and I love Lily sooo much, I totally understand Lo pining lol)(art : @/kkristenarts on insta)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Track 9 - Cornelia Street is Addie Larue and Henry from The Invisible Life of Addie Larue. Another book I read a long, long time ago lol and I feel this song is them during the book. Like the hope, the place that remind you of someone, but the feeling of doom like in a way you know some day you’ll stop walking those streets ? Even if it’s on Lover, I always felt that this love seemed doomed, the way she’s talking like she knows and it will be over on day. (Art is the French edition of the book).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tell me what you think about it and if you have any idea for the songs 1/2/4/6 🥰 I’ll continue in part 2.

I just read your recent Au that you and @sythesizeher are talking about and im in love with the AU!
But i have many questions soo..
1. What is Barbatos’s role here? Im still gonna guess he’s still Diavolo’s assistant but what’s the story here?
2. Would it be right for me to assume that Solomon had started his friendship with Mephisto because of his connection to Diavolo’s dad but now with Diavolo’s dad dead, Mephisto is probably on the run due to the lawsuits?
3. Lucifer is a lawyer so Ace Attorney shenanigans? OH WAIT MAMMON CAN BE HIS ASSISTANT or we have could the brothers take turns being his assistants?
4. Wait does that mean Simeon is the prosecutor here? (Wait why the hell am i making this so ace attorney, this isnt the right AU)
5. Would it be interesting if Zhao is the Devildom king but because he’s too busy, he accidently neglected Ik like JTTA? Would be cool parallel to Diavolo..
6. Adding to question number 2, what role does the newspaper club have in this AU?
7. This isnt really a question but “Solomon trying to expose Diavolo for his dad’s crimes but ended up helping him make the public love him” kinda reminds me of Candace trying to expose her brothers thing from Phineas and Ferb
And that’s all for now because im way too tired and in need of sleep, hope you have a good day/night!
- 🐧 Anon
hoho okay here we go!!!
1. barbatos - in this au the equivalent of the chronodae are the 'believers'; barbatos is hired as diavolo's tutor, which is a cover for him being tasked with keeping him from finding out about all the demon stuff. barbatos ends up having second thoughts over the years, and he's the one who first clues diavolo into looking into his dad's weird cult stuff after he dies, and promises to assist him in making things right
2. solomon and mephisto - similarly to barbatos, mephisto was originally in on the whole thing, but (as in jtta) he got more of the dirty work - sourcing the things they'd need, covering up their tracks, so on. he's a lot more taken in by sonno's stuff than barbatos, and such he only starts having second thoughts towards the end of sonno's life before that though - solomon does notice that he seems very in on the company's inner dealings, even though mephisto doesn't seem to have any good business sense, so he does befriend him to try and get some secrets out. mephisto sees right through him, but he's sort of intrigued anyway, so they end up in a sort-of-friendship, with a lot of back n forth and song n dance once mephisto does get cold feet though, he confides in solomon very cryptically and vaguely, then just disappears - soon after this, sonno suddenly starts deteriorating and dies, because it turns out he's BAD at managing the demon stuff without an assistance. solomon assumes mephisto vanishing was him running away, like a coward (similar to how he assumes he was abandoned in jtta)
3/4. the lawyers- i'm not at all clued into the lawyer world, but afaik it's not generally a "this firm is for defence attorneys, and this firm is for prosecutors"? i think (especially since they're an independent and very new firm) lucifer's firm is doing business consultations and such, and they partner with diavolo's company as per his agreement with lucifer
i reckon lucifer and satan are the only ones who genuinely see law as their career path (which could be a source of the luci-satan conflict), the others see it more as something they're helping with while trying to figure out what they really want to do
the celestial law firm is like a family business, so the brothers grew up accepting they'd take that path - since they followed lucifer when he got kicked out though, now they have a lot more freedom (as for simeon, he really just wants to be a writer, but he's also very dedicated to the family business)
but i reckon there'd be at least one big dramatic trial against diavolo - potentially as the Big Turning Point that might reveal the secret of ik's nature - and simeon would be the prosecutor, and lucifer the defence! so we can still have ace attorney shenanigans in that respect
5. zhao - i find it so hard to imagine zhao as a genuine demon king, but maybe that's because i associate the role so much with sonno in jtta? i imagined that ik-the-demon is born from some past ik-the-human, and zhao is human-ik's father. maybe he turns up as a genuine ghost in the office building later on (which could make for big big drama, because ik doesn't remember her life as a human)
6. newspaper club - paranormal investigators! solomon joins forces with them at some point, but somehow never gets to meet their elusive fourth member, despite that fourth member being the main source of all their information
7. phineas and ferb - Yes

I've been curious about our irl King Solomon's Songs (erotic poems n shit), so in Song of Solomon 4:1 he writes 'your hair is like a flock of goats'. I'd fucking say that to om!Solomon just to fuck with him. Watch him get annoyed (or knowing him idfk flirt back in Hebrew since I can't speak it. Yet.) You write this? I'm using it against you. Solomon, 'your breasts are like two fawns' (4:5); 'your neck is like the tower of David' (4:4); 'your waist is a mound of wheat' (7:2).
Verse 9-11 is real sexy though. Mannnnn. This fic writer wrote one of the best fic of Solomon I've ever seen and used these verses. I can't read them without smiling now URGH.
wait let me get the fic link up because I love advertising my fav reads. Uhhhhh second it's in my bookmarks. (https://archiveofourown.org/works/49774288/chapters/125640268)
(I'm the lady gaga rant in the last chapter -3-)
