Of the many legends told by the spationauts of the Eternal Warden, the story of the dragons is the most famous. It says : there are beings in the void between the stars, older than the oldest planets in the star cluster. The spationaut who catches their gaze will see their deepest wishes come true. Many crews were lost searching for traces of the existence of these creatures, all in vain. Yet, when one finds themselves alone in space, one can't help but feel watched, by thousands upon thousands of unblinking eyes.

#Hatsune Miku #VOCALOID #or rather #piapro characters #Hatsune Miku Single String Ver.#<- yep that's the fan module I made for fun last year #the thing is. only half a month to go until it's mid autumn. and every year I try to draw something for the occasion #I just. started early this year... for some reason......#well I mostly just wanna draw Her lmao. because the pokemon/miku voltage stuff is still being released and Im feelin the effect #and this year's magical miral design is so fuckign good.... thank u to miku artists. especially LAM and rella #as is always the case with this module the instrument/weapon (lol) she uses is a heavily stylized đàn bầu!#and I just realized while drawing this and looking at the ref sheets that I never detailed the pluck lmao #to be fair. usually its just like a piece of. anything #commonly bamboo or bone or plastic. shaped into a longish fingernail shape. its really the way u hold it that matters iirc #but yeah I spruced up the OG design for the instrument in this one lol. this is actually like my original vision I think #I really wanted to make that thing beast shaped. but I Just figured out how to properly stylize it when I designed the module #and! I did say this on stream but I am genuinely very proud of that design! that was genuinely big brain of me! so #future instrument variants will still probably base heavily on that general shape and principles lol. I'm playin in this space its MY muck #also I switched the number on her coat from 39 to 01 bc it's more on theme thats really it. nothin else to remark on there lol #and! once again based the dragon head on the lý dynasty dragon rather than later iterations. thats why the nose fin and no whiskers #and the metal nozzle is kinda supposed to call to mind a temple bell. not super sure i got that across well #but the rim design IS historical! I thiiiink early lê dynasty. just on ceramics instead of on bronze lmao #anyways thats it. I had fun colorin this one! kicked my ass a bit but I think I hashed it out mostly okay #have a good night lads! thank u mid autumn moon cakes for being bad to eat and sponsoring my late night drawin. and remember:#u only need one. but never say having more doesn't make it easier

Marine Meat Monday: Zartath the Black Dragon Salamander.

Where Zartath was wiry and gaunt, Exor had flatter, plainer features. In keeping with the traditions of the magos of the Adeptus Mechanicus, he carried several augmetic and cybernetic implants that gave him a partially mechanised appearance, and these were made all the more apparent because of the stripped-down armour he was wearing. But this was not the only marked difference between them. Exor’s skin, much like his captain’s was onyx black and his eyes a deep fire-red.

Zartath’s skin was pale under his cloak and armour. Although he had sworn fealty to his adopted Chapter, even undergone its ‘rite of pain’ to become one of them, he was still not of Nocturne. His eyes still blazed, though, but not with the captured fire of a Nocturnean heritage and a genetic First Founding ancestry, but with an intensity of purpose and spirit that had seen him live where others had perished in the slave arenas of the dark eldar.

In the earliest years, not long after the war on Nocturne, the great Dragon Strife as some referred to it, Agatone had found it difficult to trust the mutant. He questioned his inclusion in the Chapter, an issue deliberated over for years in the Pantheon Council, but now he was forced to admit that if properly directed and motivated Zartath could be a loyal and potent asset.

Even so, he still needed a strong hand now and again. A leash, according to his more vocal detractors. Agatone did not like to think of him as some hound – it felt disrespectful. But it was not always easy.

Zartath bared his teeth, and claws.

Guess who read all (that's out, as of now) of TjLockticon's 'Last Grain of Sand in the Hourglass' and became ~invested in it~.

And this is definitely not a sketch I went slightly insane over and like. Fully rendered.

Donnie and F!Mikey blasting the shit out of a certain kraang. (4) the immediate aftermath of that, in which F! Donnie is pretty thrilled, and the past cast is. Surprised. (5) Splinter and double-possessed Donnie having a stare-off during the spell. (6) The accidental (gender) egg cracking that comes with meeting your future self. (7) April coming to the horrifying realization that something is wrong with Donnie (He's not stimming!). (8) Special guest appearance of Leatherhead! (9) on one hand, Donnie might have symbolic ties binding him to the kraang that are trying to fully take him over. On the other hand, he finally made contact with his twin! Even if it's in the mindscape/spiritual plane. (10) Raph also gets a spiritual meet and greet with Leo! And some horrible trauma from what happened immediately before that but shush, it's fine!

Soooo. Anyway. If any of that sounds interesting, go read @last-hourglass if you're looking for a good post movie Rottmnt fic that features the past and future boys. It's not fully finished yet, but seems to be either gearing up for, or in the last act?
