weird bag of emotions to see your abusive ex post something waxing poetic about how influential a certain artist has been to him and to know you were the one who introduced him to his music. footprints in each others lives or whatever. i gave him his favorite artist, he gave me bpd, potato potahto.

Just had the stupidest stress dream in which a kindly old grandpa was taking a homemade zepplin on a final voyage as high as it could go, up to his death. But he set it so that the rate at which it rose was determined by a very low but constant rate of change in acceleration. Like, 0.01 m/s³ of jerk. So the longer we were on it, the faster it rose, and also the longer we were on the faster it got faster.

I was there first trying to convince the old guy to get off and not commit suicide, and eventually when that failed, to convince a bunch of kids who had tagged along who would also die if they stayed.

But I had to do so before the compounding growth made it too fast to deal with, so I'm running around insane trying to convince everyone while we're still jumping distance off the ground, and its such a crisis that I'm abandoning children before we've made it above the buildings and we're still moving *so* slow
