Story Introduction: Liminal Bird-Dogs

I post so much about this screenplay, I thought I should do an official intro!

Genre: mystery + adventure

Current word count: 7605

Synopsis: Callista “Cal” Tyson and Mary-Ella Weaver are paranormal investigators based in a small town in the Canadian prairies. With a mostly good reputation and some semi-reliable proof of the unexplainable, they receive calls every week about cases to explore. On a hot and groggy August day they are called to an Alberta campground for a werewolf-like creature, but soon find themselves involved in a murder case that is so much bigger than they can grasp. From unknown creatures to missing people and a world that isn't their own— this is their biggest and most dangerous case yet.

my parents like watching those like gritty homicide detective whos probably dysfunctional shows (like broadchurch and such?) and im very much not into that kind of thing BUT the other night i was hanging out downstairs while they started a new one and actually i am obsessed with it its called annika its scottish and its so good and im 100% going to start posting about it because the main character is so scrunkly i want to find her at the side of the road in a wet paper bag
