Dreamwork is a powerful mystical practice for enhancing your perspective of reality, quality of your life, and imaginative abilities by bringing awareness to the content of your dreams.
This challenge intends to bring each participant into greater attunement with their dream worlds. This, then, allows increased ease in trusting your intuition, being bold enough to dream and manifest, creating more beauty and mystique to your life, catalyzing the healing of inner traumas and limiting beliefs, as well as just to developing an understanding of your own multidimensionality. (For more on developing your imagination/3rd eye, see here).
The challenge will span from July 21st to September 14th 2023 (offering 2 full months of skill development), and it is open to the public. However, I'm sharing details and guidance are available exclusively on Patron, such as a downloadable dream journal (cover page pictured above) & nighttime routine tips. Of course, you may take on the challenge at whatever date you like.

The Challenge Tasklist (see the more detailed version here):
Week 1: Recording Your Dreams: This is to gain a sense of familiarity with your dream worlds. Notice what kinds of themes come up. Notice how you tend to act. Notice what kinds of characters come up. Notice the locations. Each morning or after each slumber (naps included), your task will be to immediately write down your dream with as much detail as possible. Dream log pages are provided in the downloadable dream journal.
Week 2: Enhancing Your Inputs (Part 1): Emotional constipation, or blockages in your astral body, can be caused by lifestyle. You will be encouraged to approach your choices of food, music, pastimes, entertainment, etc. in a way that will let the energy in your astral body thrive. For example, signs of a healthier astral body include a slower (low stress) lifestyle, healthy communication, greater mindfulness, positive self-talk and self-esteem, healthy detachment, restful sleep, and, of course, more lucid dreams. Tasks will include certain meal upgrades, because digestive situations can be a major hindrance to optimal sleep quality, dream recall, and emotional processing (due to the gut-brain relationships).
Week 3: Moment to Moment Awareness: One of the major reasons why we are unable to continue consciousness into our dream states is that we lack true consciousness when we're awake, particularly of our emotional states. Remaining aware of how your emotions shift and how you're being emotionally affected by your perspectives & circumstances will allow you to remain in present moment awareness. The daily task will be to develop your awareness, just in the way that children tend towards, never attached too long to your emotional circumstances, without dismissing them.
Week 4: Dream Herbs: Certain herbs are able to enhance dreams, relax the nervous system, and strengthen meditative awareness. These will be employed in our challenge so that we can experience this relationship. Tasks will include different ways of working with the herbs, such as implementing a tea time.
Week 5: Visualization Boost: A large component of dreams are the visual component. Many people lately, with their constant attention to screens and stories in visual form (TV, videos, movies, etc), struggle to realize what their imaginations look like in particular. The tasks will include a series of meditations and methods of connecting to your own imaginal realm.
Week 6: Enhancing Your Inputs (Part 2): Further emotional/astral blockages will be able to be relieved by more lifestyle shifts. Tasks will include spending time on more fruitful hobbies, choosing & creating habits that fill your cup rather than deplete your energy, and working with the elements daily.
Week 7: Digital Detox: Eliminate some aspect of technology in some way. Maybe you will refuse to use your phone for the first two hours of the day, take a break from social media, take a rest from social media overall, or use the internet purely for uplifting content. A serious period of meditation may even be implemented. Whatever you do, that will be your task of discipline so that you can connect deeper to your imaginal realms.
Week 8: Constructing Your Imaginal World: You've gotten a good picture of your dream worlds now. It's time to integrate that so that you thoroughly bring up the value of your dreams. Tasks will encourage you to bring a deeper sense to your imaginal world, so that you have a deep interest of navigating it and learning from it, just as the physical world we're already all aware of. You may find that, in the process, you get a deeper sense of who you are multidimensionally, based on your skills, actions, and interactions in the astral plane. You may find communication with benevolent spirits, ancestors, elemental beings, creatures, pets, and so on.

Mythology
In Hinduism, the continuous flow of energy throughout the chakras is referred to as “Shakti”. The concept of chakra was first mentioned in the ancient sacred Hindu text, The Vedas, but also plays an important role in Tibetan Buddhism.
Chakras are located along the spine and influence different nerve systems, organs and glands with their energy. These vortexes of energy are originated from Brahman, according to Hindu beliefs. It is presumed that as Shakti flows from one chakra point to another it exhausts the body and soul. The energy that becomes coiled in the base of the spine (root chakra) is called Kundalini. The spiritual goal is to awaken and release the Kundalini in order to attain a greater consciousness and merge it with the Infinite consciousness of Brahman. Through meditation and Kundalini yoga, the energy can pass back up the spine until it reaches the top of the head (crown chakra), producing a mystical experience.
“Kundalini yoga consists of active and passive asana-based kriyas, pranayama, and meditations which target the whole body system (nervous system, glands, mental faculties, and chakras) to develop awareness, consciousness and spiritual strength.” –Yogi Bhajan

۞If you are able to balance all the seven chakras it leads to the rise of your kundalini , which enhances creativity and spirituality , most people have some of their chakras blocked .
۞Underactive chakras work Below their efficiency and over active work so much they overshadow the influence of other chakras .
۞Underactive chakras are better than overactive chakras because imagine having an overactive root chakra and working day and night sacrificing your sleep .
۞Chakras can be balanced using shadow work , meditation , reiki healing , yoga etc.
To determine which of your chakras is blocked you can take this test :
Names , Association & some symptoms:
1. Muladhara: The Root Chakra
located at base of the spine.
Associated with red
Normal : balance , good health , ease in following routines .
Overactive : panic ,anxiety , fear
Underactive : arthritis , colon problems , insecurity
2. Swadhisthana: The Sacral Chakra –
located below the navel.
Associated with orange.
Normal : creativity , no shame in sexuality / sensuality
Overactive : overindulgent in sex
Underactive : depression , creative blocks , fear
3. Manipura: The Solar Plexus Chakra –
located at the bottom of the breast bone.
Associated with yellow .
normal : determination, self-acceptance and will power
Overactive : stubborn , controlling
Underactive : lack of self confidence , stomach issues
4. Anahata: The Heart Chakra
located at the center of the chest.
Associated with green.
Normal : compassion , love
Overactive : envy , lack of personal boundaries
Underactive : loneliness , finding it hard to forgive
5. Vishuddha: The Throat Chakra
located at the throat over the larynx.
Associated with blue.
Normal : self expression , authenticity
Overactive : disrespectful , eristic
Underactive : thyroid imbalance , sore throat
6. Ajna: The Third Eye Chakra
located at front of the head in between eye brows. Associated with indigo
Normal : Intuition , optimism
Overactive : hallucination , paranoia
Underactive : pessimism , ignorance
7. Sahasrara: The Crown Chakra
located at the top of the head.
Associated with purple, or gold
Normal : wisdom , spiritual growth
Overactive : confusion , narcissism
Underactive : lack of desire , oversleeping

You can also recognise your best chakra by chanting the mantra associated with it , the mantra which you feel most consciously is the mantra of your best chakra.

Note : the yogis suggest that for crown chakra activation , you can either chant the mantra or just listen to your surroundings .
Shadow work:
Though there are various methods for activation of the chakras , i think starting with shadow work is the most efficient one , the journal promots given here are taken via Pinterest , so the credits go to the original makers .

Heyyy, I completely forgot to tell you but the night after my ‘failed’ shifting attempt I woke up like half awake at like 4:30 pm or smth and, on a whim, tried to open my third eye?? and it was working, my third eyes was opening and I got freaked out bc I was seeing even though my eyes were closed and I heard whispering(it wasn’t really whispering cause the voices were loud but also quiet??) and I chickened out and stopped myself cause I was scared that I was gonna summon a demon or smth🤦🏽‍♀️ doesn’t help that there’s a mirror right by my bed facing my face so I was literally opening my third eye staring at myself and it freaked me tf out for no reason. I thought when you opened your third eye you would be seeing demons or ghosts and that you would be going insane and that would wouldn’t be able to stop hearing the voices of spirits(Idk where tf that came from but my nana is Christian so I’m not surprised, I prob picked it up from one of those Christian videos she watches) but upon further research(ie a brief google search) it’s actually not like that in the way I was thinking.. Embarrassing..
That’s so cool???? Opening your third eye out of no where is so crazy tho like how do you even think of that 😭😭😭 I understand abt the fear tho my family is Christian (I am not anymore) so working through the religious trauma and fear is always a struggle for me but CONGRATS 🎊🎉🎈

Root (Muladhara) Chakra
When in alignment:
Grounded, centered, calm, sense of safety, trust in objects around self
When out of alignment:
Ungrounded, disconnected, fear, weight problems, money problems, rigidness
To bring into alignment:
Connect with Earth and nature, grounding activities, physical activity, red crystals, -LAM mantra
Sacral (Scadhisthana) Chakra
When in alignment:
Creative, energetic, joyful, playful, passionate, open, honest, forgiving, sexuality
When out of alignment:
Abdominal pain, withdrawal and isolation, manipulation, aggression, codependence
To bring into alignment:
Emotional reflection, creativity, swimming, uplifting affirmations, orange crystals, -VAM mantra
Solar Plexus (Manipura) Chakra
When in alignment:
Confidence, positivity, high self-esteem, driven, motivated, positive self image
When out of alignment:
Low self-esteem, lack of ambition, feeling worthless, sensitive to criticism, lack of purpose

Curiously I've noticed that myself and others like to dress particularly in colours (compared to others and if we aren't wearing the basic black or white simple stuff of course) related to the chakra/health concerns that we are dealing with at the time.
I've seen some be an outright strength of a person, for example, someone who wears blue almost all the time is great at communicating clearly, they will let you know exactly what they think. Yet if they become unwell, first thing to happen is a sore throat.
See if you can relate to the colour preference:
Red: root chakra, relates to blood circulation, immune system, anger, physical strength, ego.
Orange: sacral chakra, reproductive organs, emotions and creativity. Stress or addictions.
Yellow: solar plexus, stomach, digestion, pancreas,confidence concerns, learning.
Green: heart chakra, health related to heart and lungs. Balance, concerns of level of generosity or openness.
Blue: throat chakra, the throat or thyroid, neck/shoulders, communication, ability to be true to self. Expression of ability.
Indigo: third eye, headaches, migraines, mood fluctuation, sensitivity emotion wise or to outside stimuli.
Shades of purple: crown chakra, pineal gland, nervous system, art and creativity, anxiety, decision making, spirituality focus.

For a bit of context, in May, I attended a beautiful retreat in Greek mountains called Chakras and the retreat was focused on wellbeing, connecting with nature, with emotions, our bodies, and with each other. One thing led to another and now I am, thanks to this experience, involved in a process of app development.
This app will be called Hope and:
it will be completely free + ad-free;
it is aimed to support its users' wellbeing in meaningful and practical ways;
it will mainly be targeted at people under 30.
