THIS FIC!!!!! this started everything for me!!! this is the reason why i started shipping osaaka!!!! the way they handled the characters is sooooo!!! *chef’s kiss* they really stick true to the characters' voices and the care they put into characterizations is impeccable. i also love bokuto and akaashi’s relationship here!! they’re so in each other’s lives that bokuto ends up exposing akaashi’s feelings indirectly and accidentally lmao and also atsumu and osamu’s relationship is so funny and hilarious. they are like how brothers are, atsumu showing his support but also clowning osamu in the process

this is so!!! i love this so much!! at 1k we see osamu yearning for akaashi once again. i love how they write this short scene. i could really picture the afternoon light coming in through the traditional panel doors and how the light must feel on your skin.

this is an established relationship osaaka and how they got together. in the afternoon (the fic above) is a snippet of how warm the writer could put words together. and it really is so sweet there’s a scene where they slow dance and it’s the best. i also love the simple fact that they put in how osamu cannot let anybody go hungry hhaha

this fic is actually inspired by my royalty au but im not putting this here bc of that. i really like how the writer introduced their story. i remember telling someone that the atmosphere of how they write is like the voice of a soft-spoken maiden hahaha it's lovely!! think light academia aesthetic. i also love how i get the doki-dokis when osamu, who is essentially a stranger, gets close to akaashi. i can feel akaashi's excitement and trepidation.

i love the fresh twist that they did here on the classic mermaid/pirate au. the twist being akaashi is actually a pearl diver and at the same time being vaguely hinted as a mermaid hhahaha. osamu's a pirate that got shipwrecked and got washed up on akaashi's shores that akaashi, of course, saved.

there's a bunch of cool things that happened too that i cannot disclose bc that'll ruin the thrill of reading this. the plot is solid and the romance between osamu and akaashi is gradual but so so sweeeeet!! i highly recommend this!! but better clear up your schedule bc this hefty boy comes in at a whopping 40k!!!!

this fic is based from my zombie apocalypse au!! and even though it’s set in the end of the world, they were still able to write it so sweet and comforting????? i only wish osamu and keiji the happiness they deserve :’)

i also like the whole theme of time in the story and how the story revolves around it. it’s very good!!!

akaashi is a documentary director and osamu is his subject. i love love looooove how the author wrote how stubborn both of them are and how they could clash sometimes but not in the explosive type of way. it’s actually cute and sweet, you’ll see what i mean when you read this hhehehe

AND AKAASHI IS SO LOVELY HERE!!! so lovely!!! and he laughs and smiles a ton and those moments were written in a way that just said ‘look at this angel!’ LMAO idk maybe that’s just me. i love akaashi so much

The three brothers fic your doing. I'm just laughing. We already knew how protective dad might and the boys will be. Including the boys mothers. I'm just imagining where reader has a dad. All the moms seem excited and try to help. Now the boys especially Bakugou won't let reader go out.

Well, ‘go out’ is subjective -

If you’re talking like ‘go out’ just like spending time outside, they’d likely don’t want you to be alone without at least one of them with you. In case you ran into your biological parents again and they’d attempted to get you to come back via manipulation tactics or threatening you.

If you’re talking like dating ‘going out’, then that’s really up to who’s approaching you. It depends on if they all know them or trust them. If it’s a stranger that they feel has unsavory intentions, they’re not letting them near you.

Oh, I’d love to blab a lil’ more about the bros and moms!

Katsuki’s not good with words so he offers you comfort through physical means, not at all caring who sees him. Which often makes other people confused as to what the nature of your relationship was. This includes when you stay over at his place, where in which you both share a bed or relax on the couch. You both dozed off on the couch after he spent time with you after he got rescued from the LOV. Katsu was exhausted and he needed comfort too so he was laying on top of you while you pet his hair.

Mitsuki took sooooo many pictures that day. She also starts pinching your cheeks like the mum she was and crooning over how cute you both were, much to your brother’s dismay. She begins making a scrapbook full of the pictures she gets whenever Katsu invites your other two siblings. It’s heartwarming… And perhaps a bit embarrassing.

Izuku took you to stay with him when Katsuki had to go with his parents somewhere for business. He rambles about heroes to you while you asked questions, being away from TV and news stuff for most of your childhood; you were curious. So that meant you always asked questions. Nervous at first about sharing a bed or even just showing you physical affection like Katsu does but slowly gets used to it over time. He touches you subtly as a sign of comfort, his hands are warm and gentle and it soothes you every time he rests it on your shoulder or back. Squeezes your shoulder to show that he’s there and he’s got your back.

Inko absolutely adores you and she just wants to give you so many things that you weren’t able to experience growing up… Might’ve taken it a little far with the coloring books, comics, and stuffed animals she got for you though.

Shouto quietly invited you to visit his mother after a tough bout with his father and he felt as if he needed your presence to calm is racing thoughts. You bring flowers when you meet up with him and he’s touched at your thoughtfulness, especially at the cool colored bouquet that you chose. Hydrangeas(eyyy) meaning ‘gratitude for being understood’, Hyacinths for sincerity, and Lavenders mean ‘grace and elegance’. He’s just smiling a ton when you give them to her and she starts to tear up a little bit while you explain what the flowers mean.

Rei could see the signs of a troubled childhood, her own offspring were products of such an upbringing but seeing it in you… Someone so genuine and caring, it breaks her heart. She’s so accepting and is so proud of Shouto that he was able to get close enough to people to consider them as family. You now come see her whenever Shouto decides to and the three of you usually talk about what’s happening at school and with the rest of your family unit.

“The Martial Arts Tournament”

Alright I’m back to the regular live blog schedule and theres 2 things before we get started. 1) OH MY GOD DO-S IS THE EPISODE THUMBNAIL WE GET TO SEE ALL THE MONSTERS POPPING UP and 2) DOES THAT MEAN WE’LL SEE ZOMBIEMAN TRAILING MARTIAL GORILLA BECAUSE IF SO I sincerely apologize in advance yall must be aware by now how that’s going to go down on this blog. Anyway, as always I’m watching this from the perspective of someone who is caught up on both the manga and web comic. Los geht’s!

Yup the centipede movement is still creepy as hell. I saw people saying it was cgi last week which I didn’t catch right away, but regardless it’s done so well because it looks unnatural.

EYYYYY ok actually I kind don’t care about Metal Knight. What this episode is actually going to be is me screaming about all the monsters liKE RHINO WRESTLER AND PHOENIX MAN GUYS I LOVE THIS STUPID BIRD SO MUCH HECKING HECK. I’m gonna vomit like him and Do-S PLUS Garou vs Bat PLUS the other S Class heroes (Tatsumaki and Flashy Flash??) I am not physically mentally or emotionally prepared.

Yo this seems to be a trend with the monsters and me, I am evidently never prepared for the garish color schemes they get. Not mad just surprised every time?

hhhhhhhhhhhhh Ok the fight! I’m… I’m gonna try really hard to not pause every 2 seconds because I will inevitably have many words to say and screen grabs to take but that would be more than excessive sooooo ok here I go

Lol I failed immediately. I love that they’re going shot for shot with the fight. I’ve said it before, but I really think Murata captures movement and action sequences so well in the manga that if the anime were to try and deviate, it just wouldn’t be as good (especially with all the flack JC staff has been catching). Also I ADORE Metal Bat’s theme music when his fighting spirit comes out??? It’s so corny and triumphant and bad ass at once it fits him so well?? Ok wait a second I thought that after metal bat hit the manhole cover it ricocheted and came back at Garou what the heck??? That was such a cool move on Bat’s part and demonstrates he’s not just brute force, but tactical too. Why’d they leave that out??OH COME ON THEY DID WHAT THE HELL WHERE IS THIS??

This is actually my least favorite thing about season 2 biggest complaint what the fuck they did my boy dirty here. Oh thank god Zenko is here to quell my anger. Also Bat’s glowing eyes of murderous intent. Look at her. A legend.

Garou: “...haa?” Yup still love his voice actor. Perfection. Also Zenko. Just. Metal Bat and Zenko. Moshi moooshi? Just. This whole thing was almost perfect. So close. The fight felt so short, and it was because they cut out some good stuff. So close to perfection uhg

AH MY STUPID BIRD MAN he sounds exactly like what I wanted him to I’m so glad and HAH the fuckin hand I forgot about that. Side note, Anyone else play Arkham Asylum? The monster association logo looks like Scarecrow’s symbol in that game…. ANYWAY I need to take a moment to appreciate that little Phoenixman chuckle it was hella cute ok

WHOA I was NOT expecting that transition!! Heart! Hard! HIT! It’s the Monster Wife!! And She definitely looks more monstrous in color oof those eyes ❤❤

OH FUCK OH GOD WAIT MARTIAL GORILLA AGAIN DAMN IT I WISH I REMEMBERED EXACTLY WHEN Z SHOWS UP MY BLOOD PRESSURE CANT TAKE THIS ofuck ok false alarm again but I’m low key freaking out as they pan through all the monsters because the S Class is so close like we’re about to get Child Emperor, Flashy Flash, Pig God, Drive Knight, Darkshine and so on who got next to no screen time in season 1 its giving me anxiety im so pumped??

OH FUCK GUYS PUREBLOOD OH SHIT FUCK I FORGOT WE SEE HIM THIS EARLY CAUSE HIS DESIGN KEPT CHANGING he looks stupid with his hair behind his ears and his voice is NOT what I imagined and that manga panel redraw I did was way off with the color scheme but I don’t care I have read and re-read that fight countless times this monster just grew on me by default oh no UHG and look at Super S again it looks like they’re going panel for panel here with her and I’m not complaining

They keep hopping to the tournament but I don’t have much to say about it until the shit starts going down….. and like I’m so excited for that Snek and Max moment (you know the one) but until then I’m just so overwhelmed by all the other plotlines happening I don’t have much in the way of comments for it

I lied ok that eye twitch got me. But see then it cuts away too quickly and the episode is over. I get that there’s a lot happening at once but the tournament feels dragged out a bit. It’s different when you read the manga at your own pace but cmonnnnnnnnnnnnn gimme moreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I’m so excited for next week, I can’t convey my excitement without being excessively obnoxious? this episode was pure hype. There are no buts about it- we are getting the S Class next week. I… think I’m going to leave work at noon to catch the episode right when it airs. I was saving that for an episode with Z but I don’t think I’ll be able to function at work if I stay. At this point every character is a fave and now we’re getting all of them, I feel so overloaded and we haven’t even seen anything yet. I don’t know what to even say about the future of these crap ass live blogs- they have no structure as it stands right now, but like they are going to devolve into just me screaming. Not even real words. just something like keyboard smashing and tears, probably. I’m so sorry, but anyway, as always thanks for reading, see yall next week assuming I survive

It’s horrible. This feeling inside. This knowing that I feel more for you than I have ever felt for anyone before. I remember the day we started talking. I had just got my 2nd and 3rd tattoos. I was sat at the train station aimlessly swiping on tinder. Then I saw your profile. I instantly looked through all your pictures and read your bio. I sat there thinking she looks wonderful and she sounds like a really lovely individual. I don’t often spend so long on a profile. But I spent a good 2/3 minutes hoping you’d swipe right like me. Then I actually did swipe right. 15/20 minutes later my phone buzzed. Tinder notification. You’ve got a new match. Then not a minute later. Another notification. “Hope has sent you a new message”. Believe me when I say. A huge grin lit up across my face. I read the message. It read something along the lines of “I love your bio” and I replied “thanks, I spent ages thinking of that” Then you asked “but do you actually have hay fever?” I told you “we won’t know till I pick one” and it wouldn’t be for another 5 days you found out the answer to that question. We spent a lot of time talking after that. I remember finding out you ran a hamster rescue and that made me think “gosh, I’m really starting to like this girl” your love of animals has always been clear to me. And I’ve always wanted someone who loves animals. I think it’s a clear sign of a good nature. We kept talking for a few days. I finally plucked up the courage to ask you out cause I knew if I didn’t do it soon I’d never do it. We agreed to meet on Saturday afternoon. I remember when we spoke on FaceTime the day before we met because you said you’d feel more comfortable if we did. I thought that’s a really good idea cause I’m sooooo nervous to meet you. I remember you going off camera to blow your nose cause you felt embarrassed I guess, I thought that was extremely cute. Honestly the call only made me more nervous cause I thought you were completely wonderful from that point on. I still think about the way you told me you eat beans on toast. I still haven’t tried it your way but I’m sure I will do one day. I remember getting ready to come meet you and feeling incredibly nervous. So much so that I vomited before leaving my house in the morning. I remember stopping at Tesco telling my friend Jasmin about how I was going on a date with this really wonderful girl and that I was hoping it would go well. I remember biking to Kennington and thinking I’m so nervous cause she seems so great and I don’t want to be the usual nervous idiot I am around new people. I never believed in “love at first sight” and I still don’t. But I remember the first time I saw you as if it was the most important thing that ever happened to me. I had just got into Kennington and you started calling me. You asked where I was. I don’t really know where anything is in Kennington so I told you to stay where you are and I’ll share my location on WhatsApp. I figured biking to the main road would be a good idea. As I reached the main road you asked “are you the blue dot on the map” I said “yes” then as I turned to look on the main road. I saw a girl who looked similar to you facing away from me. I don’t think I’ll ever know which one of us was right and I don’t think I care. Let’s be honest it was probably you. I rolled us both a cigarette and you turned your speaker on. We sat talking and it just felt so easy. It all felt so wonderful from the first minute. I remember it started to rain so we moved to a place it had some cover, but by the time we got there it was glorious sunshine. I didn’t mind. We were still speaking and I was falling for you more as each sentence went past. By the end of the date we had already agreed to a second date at some point during the next week and you said you’d get back to me what day. I remember feeling very sad when your mum messaged you that you needed to head home. But I also felt happy cause we had had such a lovely date. I arrived at work following that. I let out a huge fart sat in the smoking area because I had been holding it in so soooo long! I never really needed to cause now we both fart as if nothing could embarrass us. But I felt like it was the right thing to do on a first date. Especially with how much I already wanted to impress you. I remember you had text me already and I was ecstatic to see that. It really made me feel like that date had gone well. I was talking about you to all my friends at work whilst I was there that evening. And anyone else who would listen. I was really hoping our date had gone as well as I thought it had. The next day came my confirmation that it had gone well! You asked if I wanted to come round yours that evening. I remember thinking to myself man I really want to, but that’s a very long way to bike. So I said to you “I don’t even know how I’d get there” you replied “well if you finish at 6 you could bike and be here by 7:30” I thought for a minute after receiving that message. Then I just thought fuck it. I had a lovely date yesterday and this girl has been amazing so far. So I told you I’d come. I worked the fastest I ever have to make sure I got out at 6. I finished work, changed quickly and jumped on my bike. I had to figure out how to get to you on the way. Checking my navigation app all the way there. You rang me when I got about halfway. I didn’t know where I was and you could barely hear me through my headphones. But it was nice to know you were wanting me there as soon as possible. I arrived into Stanford in the Vale after about an hour and a half of solid biking. I arrived at yours and you stepped outside and gave me a hug. Now onto our beans!! First monsta x, ahhhh just, perfection. Literally monsta x always delivers with perfect style and music. Legit if you want some mafia themes with some sxhmexy spice then monsta x is for you lol. I'm a bit sad to shownu didn't join the promos *sigh* but i understand! Hyungwon and jooheon did a great job covering his part (which I was surprised to hear their vocals because usually in my experience they would either lip sing to the backing track or leave the spot empty for the missing member so to hear them sing was a surprise!) No wins sadly but its alright, the boys did amazing nonetheless and am proud of them! Fjakdjak me with secrets as well. I'm bopping and am thinking 'wait, why do I understand what they are singing' then I noticed it was in English as well haha. Gambler is on repeat alot I just cannot get enough of it

Apparently they shot the mv during minseok and his bday so that made me extra soft, exo won over butter so I'm happy dancing. As they should, as they should. Records were broken so all I can say is stan exo for a better life I guess.

Now seventeen!! Its finally comeback time so thoughts on the comeback? Ngl I at first didn't bop to ready to love, I feel bad because always their comebacks were ones I always enjoyed and liked right away but yet, this time around I watched the mv and listened to the song and was sitting there confused like ??? That was all, I felt a bit like there was something missing within the song but I couldn't tell what and it was bugging me for a week njdjajd. However, I had the song on repeat and it grew on me!! Which is very much ok I think, while I did feel bad, im human and we all have different tastes and not everyone will like title tracks! The chorus is super catchy and the guitar? I think it is the guitar lol, that you hear is fantastic. I still think the song is missing something but this might be just me being nit picky. It is a huge summer bop, very much fitting for seventeen.
