Hi yes hello.

My Nation is Burning and Nobody seems to Care

This is out of pure bitterness and spite but why does everyone care when the Amazon is burning? Why does everyone care when Palestine is in danger? Why does everyone care when Ukraine is at war? Why does NO BODY care when a tiny nation which just so happens to be my homeland is BURNING AND DROWNING?

Sylhet and Sunamganj are drowning and 1.5 million children are at risk but nobody cares

These kids are rowing a boat to school because the floods have completely drowned the streets. School buildings and other structures are unusable because the water is almost knee deep. The floods are causing banks to erode and destroy homes and land, displacing hundreds. People are on the streets because of these disasters. If any of you have any humanity in you, donate here. The smallest donation counts. If you are unable to do that, keep us in your prayers and simply acknowledge the problem. If you can't do that I sincerely hope something terrible happens to you.

Sitakunda has been burning for 2 days and has killed atleast 49 people and injured 300 but nobody cares

A fire broke out following an explosion from the depot at Sitakunda, Chittagong. The fire has been raging for 2 days now. 50 people have been recorded to have died and 300-450 injured. The death toll is likely to be higher. The fire is uncontrollable and is growing by the day. Till now no donation sites have popped up, but blood donation centres have been set up around the country.

What angers me is the lack of media coverage this situation is getting. If this happened in any other country. And I mean ANY other country, people would be on the floor screaming and crying. But since this is Bangladesh, nobody cares. Everybody forgets Bangladesh. For too long have we suffered in silence and today I want to confront all of you about this.

If you care, show it.

As for me, I will not care about any other nation's disaster because my motherland comes first. If you have any issue with that, fall in a ditch. When I've seen the world cares about us, we will care about the world.

⏤ Elizabeth was doing her work, at a yacht this time. Oh, well sometimes she does some odd jobs. Like being a dancing partner of an elder, making company of somebody, occasionally babysitting a child, nothing with full commitment. At the moment, she was just being a companion to a club client, and he hired her. And then… Milo just happened to appear in the same place as she. She wonders if he is a friend of the owner of the yacht or one of the guests the owner invited.

She had a feeling something was off… Elizabeth was in the group with other women, when she excused herself from the conversation, sneaking around pretending to go to the bathroom when she overheard that this yacht was sinking by the captain and the owner was utterly angry because he wanted to arrive at his destination. The only familiar face… She has to warn him.

She seeks Milo, and then she grabs his wrist and pulls him into a corner. ❛ Milo, we need to get out of here now! I just heard the Captain telling Mr. Harrison this yacht is sinking! ❜ The Aussie wasn't speaking in a playful way as she used to, it was clear she was deadly serious with her words, she looked down at her feet the water flooding slowly the place where they were at the moment. ❛ Do you know how to swim, mate? Because I do. ❜

The blue lagoon in Iceland is currently closed (for a week) due to a high risk of a volcanic eruption within a kilometer (0.8 miles) of the popular tourist location.

When the gathering magma breaks the earth's crust, anyone visiting the blue lagoon will have (best case scenario) approximately 20 minutes to make it to safety.

If there are people sleeping in the adjacent hotel or gods forbid in the lagoon itself, the worst case scenario is the magma breaking surface beneath the lagoon.

The only truly realistic way to avoid serious casualties here is for the resort, hotel, and lagoon yo remain completely closed until the danger passes.

There are currently icelandic people calling for a 2/1 deal (or cheaper) on blue lagoon tickets for Icelandic people on twitter.

Do Not Go To The Blue Lagoon Until The Danger Has Passed!!

It's a lovely experience but it's absolutely not worth boiling alive or burning to death.

Finally finished this comic redraw of one of my oldest and also saddest comics to date :)

I originally planned for this comic to become a part of a bigger future/apocalypse au, but with the tmnt iteration and other projects I wanna work on, I figured it's best to shelve it. Not to mention I didn't have too many plot ideas anyway! It was pretty much a lost ronin lost years type au where Leo is haunted by his brothers :)

I also wanted to post this all at once due to the sort of...twist? I didn't want to have it sit there where you guys wouldn't know what was happening next. Best to get the hurt out of the way all at once!

I hope everyone enjoys it, I really enjoyed doing the extra color and finishing on this comic!! Also F!Donnie's design was pretty fun to draw!!

I don't have a link to the og version because I never posted it here, but I love seeing the huge improvement in dialogue and just drawing in general. It looks a lot more finished <3

Anyway, new birthday special update tomorrow! I hope that is enough comfort for you all because I will also get back to posting the spinoff comic and it is....similarly devastating to this one (no spoilers though <3)

72% of Sylhet is underwater

Sunamganj is completely cut off from the rest of Bangladesh, people don't have anywhere to go. This is the worst case of flash floods in the country after 112 years. Heavy rainfall and river banks overflowing have displaced many people. 50,000 families have no access to electricity. 2 million people don't have access to food and drinking water. Crop fields are underwater, leaving rural farmers with no means of income. The Surma river flows at 12cm above the danger level.

In short,

My nation is drowning

I live in Dhaka, the floods don't affect me. Then why should I care? My cousin lives in Sylhet. My friends' grandparents live in Sylhet. Why should you care? People live in Sylhet. People are drowning. They can't move because of the water. They're stranded in their own homes. The rural people have it worse.

How should you care?
