Do you Agree? One of the qualities of Wise Leaders is their ability to use words correctly. Knowledge not just of what to say, but when to say/ not say, how to say/ not say, where to say/ not say etc. Of course it is utopian to expect a human to be 💯 percent perfect always. But the wiser ones tend ro make lesser mistakes. They realize that the time, space, context , the community consuming the message are all important for the Communication to be a success. Changes & Uncertainty Do we get the feeling that we are living in uncertain times? Is the rate of change seen now far more, than we have ever seen or envisaged decades earlier? If you are 40-50 years old, you will immediately recognize this situation. When mobiles and Short Messaging Services, S.M.S., for short, first came in, you somehow adapted to it. But your parents found it a bit of a bother. Even today some of us have parents who are uncomfortable sending and reading S.M.S. I have sometimes even cruelly commented about how my mother is not making enough efforts to understand. I got this déjà vu moment a few weeks ago when my 17 year old was talking about a whole host of social media tools and their nuances. He talked about Posts, Stories, Highlights, Status and how they could be leveraged etc. Since I use a little Social Media myself, I could relate to him….. ok, a little bit :-) But he will duly and surely connect a lot more digital dots than I am even able to visualize now. The issue is not with me or my mother. We are normal human beings, trying to make sense of the world by trying/learning/adapting as we can. Do You Agree Changes may lead to Uncertainty?
