Here are seven ways to make this your best year ever 1: Plan We often look for a shortcut or luck that will take us from where we are to where we want to be. Let’s not rely on a shortcut or luck in creating the best year ever; we need to have a plan. When creating your plan, it needs to be realistic. A successful strategy has to be adequately documented and needs to have realistic timelines that you can manage. It is a process; if you stop moving forward, then you will be falling behind. Spiritual Hearing Aid Spell

(for strengthening clairaudience)

What You'll Need:

an earring you wear everyday (a cartilage piercing or an inner ear piercing will work great for this. I used my conch stud)

the Ansuz Rune (represents wisdom and language)

a bowl of water (ideally moon water but you can use tap water)

a secondary smaller bowl

salt (sub sugar or plain rice)

mugwort (psychic abilities)

calendula (strength)

cinnamon (psychic abilities, strength, power)

eyebright (psychic abilities, mental clarity)

rosemary (mental clarity)

a purple candle

Herb Substitutes for strengthening psychic abilities: Bay leaves, peppermint, Rose, Thyme, Yarrow, Grass (yes, literal outside grass), Flax, Celery, Arnica.

Steps:

1) Fill your larger bowl with water and add a splash of moon water (tap water works in a pinch) 2) Set the smaller bowl inside of the larger bowl, do not let it fill with water, keep the inside of this bowl dry. 3) Fill the smaller bowl with a bed of salt (or rice) 4) Place your purple candle in the center 5) Write the Ansuz rune on some paper 6) Set the paper aside. 7) Add your earring and herbs to the bowl of water. All herbs will be for strengthening psychic powers and the rosemary is for clarity. 8) Light the candle and use the candle flame to burn the rune. Set it inside the innermost bowl next to the candle. 9) Focus your intention and power into the spell to make your earring a powerful hearing aid to make deity and entity communication clearer and more succinct. 10) After the candle burns down, take the earring out, disinfect it, and put it in your ear.

discard spell remains in any way that is most convenient for you.

You don't have to do this with an earring. I find it's easier to make the connection from the mundane to the magical because it is in your ear already. However, you can use a necklace for this, a nose ring, facial piercing jewelry, cartilage studs/rings, etc. Use what you have. Magic isn't about doing what everyone else is doing, it's about adapting it to be useful and purposeful for your own circumstances and situations. It's your craft, do what feels right for YOU.
