Some sketches I made as reference to this post I made a while back for vampires in my graphic novel universe!

Hands

•Vampire hands are much larger in comparison to humans... If the four fingers didn't already give that away. And unlike human digits, their fingers [minus the thumb] are all equal in length, and also double jointed for easier grip to smaller crevices in treets and caves.

•They also have some killer sharp nails that are just as touch and sturdy as they are strong. Good enough to impale and grip prey and to tear through thick fabrics and metals.

Feet

•Now feet are much more different in comparison of humans, as they appear almost batlike. Their joinetd as hands, and are considered 'double paws' for how they work just like a second pair of mits in the bottoms of their legs. They're mostly used fir hanging from high places or climbing, but they can also be used as a way to grab food or bodies from places.

•Not only are they built for grabbing, these babies got a death grip. Besides the jaw, Vampires strongest body function is their feet, having to hold weight from upside down, or during mating/holding lovers or baby bats bodies, they need the strength relied in their legs.

Noses

•Vampire noses are very hard to point out, but one the difference is spotted its hard to unsee. They're noses tend to be built almost looking scrunched up, nostrils permanently flared. The reason their nasals are built in such a way is due to easier to pick up scents with their very keen senses if smell.

•Also on note, vampires sense of smell usually only goes for blood or other bodily fluids (like arousal, menstruation, mostly hormonal bodily functions.) And other smells tend to just smell the same as any other human/person... Unless it's garlick. While the vegetable wouldn't harm ir kill a vampire, it's still an old used antibiotic and defunetly clears out the sinuses for them. So it probably wouldn't save you in the end, it's a good way to keep one steering clear if they decide you're not a threat or meal.

Fangs

•The fangs of a vampire are what make them so iconic to most, but those aren't just for show! The back of their sharp canines hook out ever so slightly, hollowed completely through the back so when they puncture into flesh, it works.as a cavity/suction to quite literally create the iconic draining/sucking blood vampires are known for.

•Vampire jaws are very strong, and you don't want to be at the mercy of seeing what it's capable of. They also have the capability to lock their jaws in place to keep prey from escaping or to show them out. Sometimes it's hard to tell from your neck snapping, or the cracking of a jaw unhinging directly in your ear.

the ending shattered me, as i expected, and it has restored my faith in humanity, as i also expected.

i love how i understand now much more about the cosmere than i did (checks calendar) a month ago, i just love acquiring knowledge like a Keeper. I would've been an incredible Keeper.

"Saving All My Love for You" is a song made famous by American singer Whitney Houston, who recorded it for her debut album in 1985. It became her first single to hit #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and eventually went Platinum for sales of over 1 million copies. At the 28th Annual Grammy Awards, it won for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

The song caused some controversy for Houston due to its theme of having an affair with a married man. Her mother, Cissy, did not like the scenario described in the lyrics, claiming that the song's message would reflect badly on her daughter. However, later Whitney herself confessed, “I was going through a terrible love affair at the time. He was married, and that will never work out for anybody. Never, no way.”

"Saving All My Love" was originally written by Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin during the 1970s and first recorded by Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis for their album but not released as a single. Years later, Masser saw Whitney for the first time in New York when she was singing one of his songs, "The Greatest Love of All". After her performance, Houston told Masser that the song was one of her favorites and later, Masser was chosen by Arista to produce some tracks for Houston's first album. He offered up "Saving All My Love" and she said she "immediately responded to it, emotionally."

After the success of her previous single, "You Give Good Love", the executives at Arista Records didn't think "Saving All My Love for You" was a good follow up for next single. When Masser heard this, he made a friendly wager with Arista's president, Clive Davis, during one of Houston's performances at the Roxy Theatre in LA. Masser proposed that if all the women got on their feet when Houston started single "Saving All My Love", then Davis would agree that it should be the next single. They did and it was.

Ken: 😕

Ken's eyes are caught on a squeaky car refresher, that resembles a small horse. He rips it off the rear view mirror.

Allan: You alright there Ken?

Ken: Is this the best you could come up with? I can't ride in anything that isn't a horse.

Allan: Ken, it's only temporary.

Ken: Well nobody puts horses in the corner.

Allan: You know that's a line from...

Ken: Swayze movie. Swayze always gets a pass.

Ken:

Allan:

Allan: Well, how about we listen to some tunes.

Allan puts on the radio as All Out of Love by Air Supply is playing. Ken darts his eyes to the radio, curiosity taking hold. He was most definitely expecting something else.

Allan: Sorry man...

Ken: Just leave it. It's just some cheesy bop.

Allan focuses on the map, trying to pinpoint the best tourist spot to go first as Ken keeps his eyes on the road. As he is driving, he begins to lip sync to the lyrics.

I'm all out of love, I’m so lost without you. I know you were right. Believing for so long.

He is passionately singing along, secretly loving it as an awkward Allan begins to take notice. Ken stops the moment Allan's eyes are on him. He keeps on driving, trying to ignore the song twisting at his heart. The big crescendo of the song begins to hit as Ken doesn't want to miss it for the world.

Oh, what are you thinking of?

What are you thinking of?

He tries to sing along, tapping the steering wheel aggressively to the beat, but Allan's eyes were staring right through him. It was like he had been caught red handed. Allan puts the radio off as they continue their journey in silence.

Allan:
