Dream Journal 11/6/23

(MLP Creepypasta addition)

I'll recount my dream last night as best as I can, tho parts of it have gotten confused and I'll try to tell it as a story for I feel like this would be a good horror story for mlp, tho might need some tweaks or so.

~

It started with being stuck in a maze like house. Everypony scattered around trying to find a way out. For groups of small black creatures, looking like spiders, we're out n about after the ponies. Twilight found herself in a area with multiple doors and thought she found a safe spot until multiple came rushing in from a different hallway than the one she had just come through. She tried to jump over but it was too late and she got swarmed. She was done for, or was she? She was back at the start, like as if given a second chance. Tho now wasn't the time to waste. Twilight made her way to the doors and quickly went to examine one. In it she found the skin of a pony and its flesh. She freaked yet picked up the skin and examined before the creatures came once again. She was swarmed and it faded to black.

We're show ponyvile (or at least my dream's version of it) and all seems fine. There's been something off about Twilight but no pony could really put much of a hoof to it. AppleJack ends up finding Twilight to talk only to find Twilight acting normal, but her skin was loose and maybe even coming close to falling off.

Back tracking. Twilight finds that soon the swarm of small creatures scurrys off and leaves her be. It seems that if a pony was to wear the skin of one that had already been dead or killed off by the pests, that pony would be safe from harm. (This is where my dream gets a bit confusing as it went back and repeated stuff but with different outcomes.)

AppleBloom was lucky to have made it out alright, but she didn't have her fur anymore. For some reason she goes to Twilight who happens to he in the process of shaving her fur to put on a different coat of fur. Twilight had found AppleBloom's coat and presented it to her in a crazed like way. AppleBloom didn't seem to notice and thanked Twilight for finding her fur!

Twilight is found by Big Mac back in the house as is convinced to do the same as her into finding a skin.

(Now here's were it whiches to what actually happened, but Big Mac is still somehow involved)

Twilight had successfully put the skin of another pony on and had seemed to connect powers with the previous pony's cutie mark. Twilight goes around to protect herself until a random pony comes around saying "You're not [insert pony name here]!" And takes the skin off Twilight. Twilight freaks as this pony doesn't understand and it seems they get swarmed as the next scene features AppleBloom and SweetieBell playing on a hill while there are some pony figures in the distance. These figures are deemed parasitic and are to not come in contact with other ponies, bring banished in a sense or so to stay in that area. These previous ponies are Twilight, Big Mac, and three other random ponies that near the end of my dream come and threaten to attack AppleBloom and a colt that might of been ButtonMash before being stopped.

Miguel hadn't drank any blood for several days, prioritising his spidey duties too much. This made him literally crawl to your place, all tired and unfocused. Falling to his knees in front of you, it was very obvious what he had been deprived of. So you help your love out, by lightly pricking the tips of your fingers, and ordering him,

"Open up."

Now here he is, glaring up at you with reddened eyes, as you shove your fingers in his mouth. Pressing them to the very back, making him gag slightly. You pull them out, before thrusting them in his mouth roughly, and repeating so. Miguel can’t do anything due to the utter depravity of you and blood, so all he can do is keep his mouth open for you.

Glaring eyes soon soften, as tears begin to form. While sliding your fingers in and out, his tongue rolls over them, coating them with saliva, making sure to get rid of any stings. Miguel lets out muffled whines, as he chokes on your fingertips on the nth time. Whenever he moans for you, sticky spit drips down the corners of his lips. His face is blooming, because it’s so fucking embarrassing. The fact that he’s also getting hard from you just finger-fucking his mouth is so humiliating. He just wants to cover his reddening face.

But, you just taste too sweet for his ego to fully push you away.

A New Path (138k words) by Endlessnightlock

The day after aging out of the Reaping, Katniss crosses paths with Peeta. She thanks him for the bread and to her surprise, a tentative friendship begins.

One of my favourites. I love the direction the author took with this story. Always made me want more!

Go Slow, Peeta (20k words) by Oakfarmer

The era of the Hunger Games has come to an end. How Everlark slowly happened anyway.

This was the one that started it all for me. Short, simple and to the point! A classic in my opinion.

Nothing Owed for a Gift (10k words) by orphaned account

Lately, Merchants have taken to flirting with unwitting Seam folk as a joke, sometimes going so far as to ask them out on a date. I've even heard of a couple instances of a Merchant asking someone from the Seam to marry them, and then laughing hysterically when the poor recipient says 'yes'. So, when Peeta Mellark approaches me after the reaping, red with nerves and pushing his lips together as if he's trying very hard not to do something like laugh, I'm immediately wary. Peeta can't possibly be asking me to marry him for real. ... right?

Urgh. Literally one of my favourite one-shots.

What if? What if Peeta and Prim hadn't been reaped?

Definitely not the fluffiest fics in the list, but Katniss absolutely SHINES here. And Peeta stays very true to his character as well. Absolutely worth the read.

It Takes A District (55k words) by MTK4FUN

Thinking her mother is dying, Katniss Everdeen marries Peeta Mellark to keep her sister out of the Community Home.

I love this fic. I don't know what it is, but there's something about it that makes it standout on its own.

Katniss Everdeen Is Not A Stalker (241k words) by MegaAuLover

Katniss as a little problem, she can't stop looking through Peeta's window, trying to find a way to pay her boy with the bread back but as time goes on she realizes she wants more. But there is a problem the District is flooded with Peacekeepers and everyone faces danger as the Capitol tightens its reigns on the district. Can love bloom in the middle of adversity? Or will it shrivel in the face of surmounting danger?

This is the one. Easily one of the bestest AUs imo. Very long read- but I will be naming my first born after the squirrel. The Everlark relationship here is A+++.

Cavedweller (79k words) by Jennajuicebox (last update: 2021-01-25)

Her mother once told her she was brave. A word Katniss wouldn't have chosen for herself. Brave implies that you run headlong into the scary unknown. Brave implies you face the things that want you dead. It dredges up thoughts of conquering armies and swords raised over head. Katniss isn't brave. As much as she would never admit it to herself she is scared out of her wits. She is staring into a gaping chasm, waiting for it to swallow her whole.

I love AUs that explore Katniss otherside of the family so much. As always, the Everlark development here is absolutely heartwarming and delicious. 10/10

On the Threshold ( 97k words) by ghtlovesthg (last update: 2020-06-26)

Nineteen and free from the Reapings forever, Katniss finds a token on her doorstep commemorating her passage over the threshold of adulthood. Discovering the identity of the sender will start Katniss on a road that leads toward life's other milestones.

This is exactly how I envisioned Everlark would get together had it not been for the Reapings. So so so so good. There is just enough here to be satisfied that the fic is unfinished ; w;
