The pizza smell had tempted Kai on the way to adrian’s place. They were glad the bright green door, that had been Xinyi’s idea, came into view as quickly as it did.

They stepped up the stairs quietly, so Xinyi didn’t wake up and he could surprise his beloved Adrian.

He silently opened the door. Adrian was a sobbing mess on the floor. His eyes were red, puffy, his cheeks stained by tears, his hair was messy. Kai dropped the pizza box onto the table and sat down next to Adrian.

“Oh Adrian,” They muttered softly.

They hugged Adrian tightly as he cried into their chest. “What’s wrong, darling? what happened?”

Adrian’s words came out teary and broken “You’re going to leave me, there’s someone else, isn’t there???”

Kai rubbed circles on Adrian’s back, trying to calm him down. It wasn’t working that well but they were doing their best. “No. I don't want anyone other than you. No one else matters to me but you.”

Adrian gripped kai’s arm “I love you Kai. If you weren’t here, I don’t think I would still know how to function. You’ve changed my entire life. I can’t lose you.” Adrian took in a shaky breath . “Please stay here tonight. Please…I need you”

Adrian begged, holding onto Kai desperately like they were a lifeboat and he was drowning. well, he was drowning, drowning in his own thoughts.

I miss the pre-New 52 Tim and Jason dynamic so much. Wow that is a bit of a tough one.

Favourite part of being alive. This might be a little dark so bear with me. But after struggling with my mental health for so long and not being able to see any reason to be alive finally being on the other side of that has given me such vigor for life. Things like being able to look at the flowers, go exploring, make friends, to expand and grow, to learn about weird and wonderful things including myself, being able to be part of communities and being able to imagine and create and believe. All of those things are what makes life so good for me now. And most of that is just small silly stuff. But I think my favorite part about being alive is just that. The living.
