friend wanted to see my tumblr, and when i told him i can’t show it to him bc it’s basically my personal diary he went “oh so I can’t see it but a bunch of strangers on tumblr can??” he literally does not get me. no one will get me like the people in my phone get me
Wow, just wow. @somerandomdudelmao, your series was incredible. I only found your comic in July and I didn’t become an active tumblr user/follower till September, but I’m so glad I got to watch this project come to a close. The ROTTMNT fandom wouldn’t be the same without you and your comic. You’ve inspired so many people, including me, and I just want to say thank you, Cass. Thank you for making my year a little bit brighter. Thank you for reigniting my love of art. Thank you for creating. Thank you for existing.
You’re no longer just some random dude lmao. You’re the creature who fixed the apocalypse, the creature who brought together thousands of people and built a family. A family of turtles and fans.
In honor of C.A.S I wanted to color and animate the final panel of the comic. Im still learning color theory and digital art but you’ve inspired me to improve, and what better way to start than with the end? It was a beautiful ending, so perfectly paced and full of a peaceful hope twinged with a bittersweet sadness. Your comic might be done, but this turtle family will live on forever.
Now go take a well-deserved nap and relish in your success!
Another one of the Peeta moments that rot in my brain constantly is the scene in catching fire when Katniss and Finnick get stuck with the Jabberjays.
Peeta had his hands pressed against the force field, trying so so hard to be there for her and wanting so badly to protect her. And when it finally ended he held her, and rocked her, and let her hide her face in his arms, and protected her for as long as she needed him to and…..that’s just so ughhhh….so heartbreakingly sweet.
thinking about my faves in a royal au scenario & I thought of prince satoru who sneaks out into the town, disguises himself as a commoner. who grows deeply infatuated with the tavern girl (who doesn’t favor the prince) and lives a double life.
night after night, he swears he’ll come clean, swears that he’ll reveal his true self. that your prior opinions won’t matter because you know the real him. you see the real him.
he promises himself when he makes love to you for the first time, when his limbs are intertwined into yours as your hearts beat in sync.tomorrow, he thinks when he cradles you in his arms. tomorrow.
because who wouldn’t want to be loved by a prince?
except the guards show up and raid your quaint quarters the morning after. swords drawn as you fumble to cover yourself with a sheet. it’s only when satoru commands them to stand down do they listen, but he’s terrified to turn around and see what expression you have on your pretty face.
Tired: Tav that’s good for Astarion cause they play therapist and give him support and space to heal
Wired: Tav that’s good for Astarion cause they’re such a disaster he has to get his shit together cause gods above one of them needs to be a functional adult
Wymacks always threatening to sign the Foxes up for marathons as punishment but I personally like to believe he gives them much more unconventional punishments. Ones that he just knows will annoy the Foxes. For example:
He makes Aaron and Neil create an art project together for mouthing off during practice
Like full on paper mache, painting, hot glue, the works
He won’t let them do anything else during practice until the entire team approves of the final piece
It takes them a full week of practices to do it
He makes Kevin and Andrew run the Exy booth at the activities fair
They said it was stupid and complained when Wymack brought it up during a team meeting
So, of course, he makes them run the table by themselves for the entire 6 hour event (scheduled during practice)
And he bought candy for them to hand out but made sure it was only the stuff Andrew hated
And he made Kevin follow up with every single person who signed their little sheet
He has their advisors register the entire team for an acting class
Because if they’re gonna be this damn dramatic about everything they might as put it to good use
He buys a clown costume
And if one of the Foxes gets a yellow card they have to talk to the press after the game in it
Neil is the only exception to this punishment
Instead of speaking directly to the press he gets to put on the costume and stand quietly behind Wymack as he talks to the press
