Can I be honest about my rockers spotlight magazine? Im a bit upset with the layout of it. At least compared to the Hart Foundation one I have. You see with the Hart Foundation one almost every page is different and dynamic with photos, the layout and even the colors! However with my Rockers one each page is formatted the same with the same bland font.

I just wish they got more creative with it Y’know? It’s the rockers!!! They’re all about colors!

Dumb art advice for people who can’t understand logic like me:

First, turn off your brain and just draw a bunch, for example you want to learn to draw hands, go on Pinterest search ‘Hands’ and just copy what you see, do this everyday for 30min-1hour, slowly you’ll get a vague understanding of how hands work

THEN, go and watch some tutorials and the learn structure of the hand. The logic and structure are important but you won’t understand anything if you don’t already have a good picture of what the thing look like in your brain.

(This method works really well if you want to learn anatomy, don’t go dig into the muscle and skeleton, draw figures first, you don’t need to know what you’re drawing you just need to have an understanding of the flow of human body, it will help you greatly later on when you really go into the structure of body)

Of course this is only based on personal experiences, you can learn the theories and then practice but that did not work for me, if I don’t have hands on experience on what I’m drawing I won’t understand a single word in the tutorial. Do what works best for you I’m just putting this out here

Today I’m in my feels over: The bus scene

🫠 things that get me SO emotional and have me crying at my desk rn:

Ellie can’t swim. She jumps right onto that bus with no hesitation to save Joel - if he goes down, she’s going with him. The love she has for him 😭 it also demonstrates Ellie’s selflessness - yeah, she would probably die for humanity. But she would also die for just one person she loves 😭

Joel’s reaction the second that the bus jolts to the side and he realizes she’s about to get knocked off of it - he immediately goes from trying not to drown / trying to grab onto her to get himself out, to PANICKING, desperate for her to grab onto him - “give me your hand - give me your hand before -” 😭 Troy’s voice performance here is 💔

Obviously him trying to resuscitate her is 😭 and how he doesn’t stop - Fireflies can threaten him with as many guns as they want, nothing is stopping him from saving his girl

I know this didn’t fit with how grounded the HBO adaptation is, but this is my fav game scene that we didn’t get and I do wish we had it.

Hi friends! Once again here using my Tumblr like a traditional blog where u share thoughts and updates and stuff haha.

Sorry for being gone for a bit, life was BUSY with plans and now I’m finally back home from a little trip visiting a lovely friend of mine (photos for visual-aid of said trip 😉😇). God I love summer and sunshine!! ☀️☺️🌊🚤🍉

So due to being less active, I did build up quite a bit of notification and message debt.
