Game 18: PICROSS S GENESIS & Master System edition (Feb 2023) 💖

Picross has been a really neat puzzle game to get into. It tickles the brain the same way Sudoku or crosswords do, but with math placement. It makes neat little shapes and drawings as you fill in the squares, and gives you a nice little sense of accomplishment when you get to see the pictures move a bit too. But mostly Picross is just a fun game that helps clear your mind, and Picross S GENESIS & Master System Edition is the best version of that fun.

I can't express just how blown away I was by the demo for this game alone. With the additional new modes like Clip Picross and Color Picross it really feels like Sega Picross just understands what makes Picross so fun, and what new ways such a mechanic can improve it's gameplay on. This game just has so many improvements to the hint systems, tutorials, and gameplay that this would make a great starting point for any puzzle fan wanting to try a Picross game. Add in the additional star system to reward veteran players for playing the game well, and new modes just caters to any puzzle fan out there.

The game is absolutely stacked with a huge amount of puzzles to chose from. Not only are the majority of these puzzles not locked by anything, but you also don't need to do them all to be reward for the work you do. This means that doing any puzzles in regular, mega, or color picross will give you a clip picross to work with. These Clip picrosses are often smaller picross puzzles that create a small picture to help an even bigger picture come to life. While regular picross is still as fun as it usually is, being able to break it up with some mega picross or color picross puzzles helps the overall game from becoming too stale. As well, the new featured color picross is perhaps this games main selling point. While most picross puzzles require you to use simple math placement to figure out where to place your next block, color picross also uses various colors to help construct your picture. Sometimes the colors can help immensely or provide to make the puzzle more challenging, but always giving you a new way to play and figure out picross. Attach to this we have a very slick interface with a lot of wonderful sound effects and a nice assortment of Sega music. Rounding everything out, each picross is entirely different through out giving you an entirely new picture aside from regular and big picrosses as they share the same gallery.

Really I couldn't ask for anything more from a picross game, and Picross S: Genesis & Master System Edition really provides for that charming pick up and play attitude like no other picross before it. While there could have been more pictures for mega picross or a larger sound track of Sega's works, there really isn't much more I could have asked for from this game. Sega picross gives far too much from it's gameplay alone, and it's pricing makes it far and above worth your time. There really isn't a better puzzle game that's under 10$ that I could think of.

#I just FINISHED supernatural and have about FOURHUNDREDMILLION FEELINGS #WHAT #WHAT WAS THAT IM #I #WHAAT #I thought it ended at like 5 different points and cried SO MUCH????? Heeseung smiled softly upon seeing your head rested against Sunghoon’s shoulder with your eyes closed. Not to say he wasn’t a bit upset that you were sleeping on one of his member’s shoulder instead of his, but that couldn’t have been helped since he had been working late.

“Are you sure this is okay?” Sunghoon asked, slightly concerned about what was going through the eldest’s head, but Heeseung only shrugged.

“I’m not going to lie and say that I don’t care. Of course I want to pull her into my arms, but she looks so sleepy. It’s pretty late right now. Let’s just wait until we get to the dorms to wake her up. I’ll pick her up later.”

When everyone made it to the dorms, you woke up to the car door being shut and opened your eyes to find Heeseung smiling at you.

“Did you sleep well, love?” He asked, stroking your hair.

“Yeah...I didn’t mean to fall asleep though. I was going to wait for you to finish working, but it seems that I failed to do so.”

“That’s alright.” He pinched your cheek softly, putting his hands under you and picking you up, “Let’s go to sleep together in the dorm, hm?” He said, having no intention of mentioning that you fell asleep on Sunghoon.

# Jay

“Hey, Jungwon, what was the-” Jay interrupted himself from talking when he saw your figure on the couch, head laying across Jungwon’s lap, “What is she doing there?” He pointed towards you with a brow raised.

Junwgon’s cheeks turned bright red upon Jay’s arrival, “I don’t know. First, she was sitting there on her phone, then her head plopped on my lap.”

“She just plopped?”

“I don’t think it was intentional. I tried shaking her off, but she had no response so I didn’t want to wake her.”

Jay nodded, “She’s not dead, right?” He asked half playfully before walking over to you and checking your breathing before shaking his head and pinching your nose, waking you up immediately.

You shot your head up, “Ouch!” You rubbed your nose with a small glare, “Jay, why’d you do that?!”

“Apparently you just plopped on Jungwon’s lap. How can you just plop on someone without being dead when that someone isn’t your boyfriend?”

“I was just tired...” You answered, “I didn’t even realize that I laid on Jungwon...sorry.”

Jay smiled cheekily, “Just next time, find me so you can lay your head on me.”

# Jake

Jake froze when he saw your head on Heeseung’s shoulder. He wasn’t sure yet if he should just ignore it and let you sleep or if he should give his hyung a lecture, or if he should just wake you up and give you a lecture or simply put your head on his shoulder instead. So many options were going through his head that he just stood there in a somewhat trance, debating in his head.

Heeseung interrupted his thoughts, “Jake, don’t even think about waking her up. She was up excruciatingly late last night until we finished practice. She must be exhausted.”

Jake nodded, agreeing with him, “But it’s so strange seeing you with her head on your shoulder instead of mine.”

“Are you jealous right now?” Heeseung teased as Jake took a spot next to you.

“No!” He responded a bit louder than he intended to, making you shuffle, your eyes slowly opening.

“Jake?” You asked, rubbing your eyes.

“Great job.” Heeseung shook his head with a small smile.

“Oh my gosh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you up. I know you must be so tired.”

You shrugged, turning to face him and wrapping your arms around his torso and resting your head on his chest to get comfortable, “You’re so comfortable.”

Jake giggled to himself, stroking your hair, “I’m happy to hear that. Just go to sleep now.” He said, Heeseung knowing darn well he was happy that you went to him.

# Sunghoon

Sunghoon was not having it. When he saw you and Niki on the bean bag, your head on his shoulder and his head on yours asleep, he instantly went to you both and crossed his arms.

He scoffed, clapping his hands loudly, “Okay, it’s time to wake up, kids.” He announced and kept his laugh in when he saw your tired, confused face looking around the room.

“Hyung, what was that for?” Niki groaned, rubbing his eyes.

“What were you and my girlfriend doing sleeping on the bean bag together?”

“We were watching a drama and must’ve fallen asleep...” You replied, sighing.

“Well that’s enough of that.” Sunghoon put his hand out and pulled you up gently into him, “Are you tired?” He asked softly this time, looking down at you.

You nodded, wrapping your arms around his stomach, and pressing your cheek against his chest “Can we go cuddle and maybe take another nap?”

He gave into you with a small smile, kissing the top of your head.

“Ew, y’all are gross.” Niki whined, covering his face with the pillow.

"Then don’t watch.” He shrugged, walking to the bedroom with you to take a nap.

And ever since then, Sunghoon made it his goal to always be there whenever you were tired so you wouldn’t sleep on another member.

# Sunoo

You sat in between Sunoo and Jay in the car on the way back to the dorms from practice when you felt your head bobbing up and down from falling asleep and waking up. You didn’t notice when you felt your head tilting to the side and falling on top of a shoulder.

Sunoo looked up from his phone and pouted when he saw your head land on Jay’s shoulder. Why would you sleep on Jay’s shoulder when he had such a comfortable shoulder to sleep on?

He knew it wasn’t Jay’s fault, but feeling petty, he glared at Jay and crossed his arms, “Why is she sleeping on you?”

“I...don’t know. I guess the way the car moved made her head land on my shoulder.” He answered logically slightly intimidated, but also very much amused by the way Sunoo was acting, “Why? Are you jealous or something?”

“I mean, if the universe would just let her head land on my shoulder, it would be alright, but she landed on yours. The universe is against me!” He dramatically whined, banging his head against the headrest.

“You are so dramatic, oh my God! Just put her head on your shoulder. I don’t really care.”

Sunoo shrugged, “If you want me to.” He smiled, gently putting your head on his own shoulder, feeling proud of himself.

Even though he wanted to tell you that you were sleeping on Jay’s shoulder, he knew that you would be embarrassed about it, so he kept it to himself.

# Jungwon

You sat in between Jungwon and Sunoo on the couch at the dorms, blankets draped across you and all the members as you watched a drama on the tv with the lights off. A few episodes in and it was well passed midnight when you finally fell asleep.

Jungwon bit his lip when he saw your head laying on Sunoo’s shoulder, who also jumped slightly when he felt your head falling on his shoulder. Paying no attention to the tv anymore, Jungwon just watched as you moved your head to get comfortable.

“Um...” Sunoo started, “Y/n...” He shook his shoulder a little bit, which only made you squeeze your eyes tighter.

“Wonnie, stop moving.” You whispered, still half asleep.

“I’m not Jungwon. This is Sunoo.” He said softly and you jolted up your head, heat rushing up to your cheeks.

“Oh my gosh, I am so sorry, Sunoo!” You said, moving your hair out of your eyes when all the members began to laugh at the situation, finding it hard to breathe with how hard they were laughing.

You squirmed with embarrassment, hiding your face in Jungwon’ lap while the others continued.

Jungwon patted your head and lifted his head up to the others, “Alright that’s enough. Pay attention to the tv now.” He said and the everyone immediately listened to their leader’s firm voice, sucking up their laughter and turning back to the tv.

He stroked your hair with a smile. He was thankful for being the leader sometimes, “You can fall asleep now, It’s okay.”

# Niki

Niki kept himself surprisingly composed when he walked into his room to find you on the gaming chair, in front of the computer with your head laying on Jake’s shoulder, who was sitting right next to you on the other gaming chair.

Niki blinked once before taking a seat beside Jake and turning on the gaming computer and pulling out the controller.

“It’s your fault by the way.” Jake spoke first, playing his own game, “You beat her yesterday so she spent all night trying to improve her skills on the game.

Niki chuckled, “That girl...” he started, smiling as he started his game, “How can she beat a champion of Mario kart?”

“Well maybe you should let her win next time. She was so determined to beat you last night that she looks like a panda right now.” Jake laughed.

“A cute one though.” Niki replied, winning the game and smiling, laying his controller down to take a glance at your cheek squished against Jake’s shoulder.

He laughed, “She’s drooling on you by the way.” He lied, making Jake jump up, jolting your head up.

“Hm?” You asked, eye bags under your eyes very visible as you looked at Niki.

Niki giggled at you, pushing your forehead with his finger, “Why would you stay up all night? You look like you haven’t slept in a week.”

“I’ll beat you!” You rose up from your chair, “Just you wait, Nishimura Riki.”

“Okay okay...” He started, pulling your head to his chest, “but first, how about we go take a nap together then I can teach you all of my strategies.”

Leona Kingscholar

In the SunSet Savannah, women are viewed as the more dominant of the sexes, and most men don’t EVER get invited to shop with them. Leona views this as a VERY big step in the relationship, almost like moving in together! It’s very important to him to be respectful, so he almost says no! He doesn’t know how to act while shopping for intimates!

Calls his sister in law, almost hyperventilating, a mix of Riddle and Deuce to be honest. He’s writing on his hand the notes his sister in law gives him. Compliment something, offer to pay but don’t push, ect. Falena is jealous that Leona stole his wife for basically an entire night as they both talked for hours on proper etiquette, but quickly calmed down once he learned what was happening!

Leona sadly doesn’t follow one big rule though, he’s paying, he’s a gosh darn prince! He’s buying you the best of the best! Leona I feel enjoys being a provider in a sense. He gets a small ego boost knowing you’re using something he payed for! Every time he smells a perfume he got you, sees the strap of a bra he paid for, sees you bite into a sandwich he chose, his ears flick happily!

After he’s dragged you to a MUCH BETTER store, probably at a mall with private parking, he’s watching as some store associate helps you. Either with sizing, what you’re looking for ect. If you look at him like a deer in the headlights cause you’re overwhelmed, he steps in and says you’re just looking around.

Leona likes the animal patterns, the tacky ones specifically! You end up looking to the store associate for help in designs cause Leona dresses like a gay uncle or a rich golf fan dad when given the chance! Leona gets some fancy silk briefs with the UGLIEST zebra pattern! He refuses to let you see how much everything was, cause he knows you’ll feel bad. But trust me, you don’t want to see the amount of zeros on that bill!

Ruggie Bucchi

Another respectful boy, but I think he used to go shopping with his granny, so he’s not as clueless as Leona. That being said, Ruggie only truly knows how to find the best bang for your buck, he’s a haggler at heart! If you want a nice bra for a fair price, bring Ruggie! But Ruggie doesn’t know much about bras, so while he is helpful, I suggest giving him a run down on bras.

He’s now terrified of you getting stabbed with a wire! He’s checking durability like those new dads shaking those cribs as if their infants are gonna be MMA fighting in them! When he finds one he thinks is safe, he nearly faints at the price! He didn’t even look for a cute one! HOW IS IT SO EXPENSIVE!?! He wants to call his granny and apologize for her having to pay this much for a BRA!

You don’t end up buying a bra, but you both end up buying fabric, some bamboo strips, and Ruggie sews you some bras! You may be embarrassed at him having to measure you, and trying it on in front of him (he totally lets you wear a tank top or tighter shirt if that makes you more comfortable and for my Muslim chest havers, he has his granny help out)

But by golly if the bra he made wasn’t SO comfortable! And cute! He totally would splurge and get some cute designs for you!!! He got lace if you want it, he can embroider some stuff if you want! He is a believer in functionality over fashion, but totally wants to make you happy too so he can do some extra work! Again, Ruggie isn’t into fashion so he honestly doesn’t have a preference. If you’re happy, he’s happy!

Ruggie is probably one of the best guys to ask for help, cause he realizes he can make something of much higher quality for cheaper, and honestly, he may make a business that would put Azul to shame with how well he can make clothes! (Also he totally secretly embroidered a heart into the band, cause he loves you)

Jack Howl

You have to ask him at the right time, specifically when he’s tired. Either when he’s just woken up, is heading to bed, or after a tough workout. Otherwise he flat out refuses stating “intimantes” are to be seen only in intimate settings, not a store. But if you catch him, he doesn’t have the heart to take it back.

He’s SUPER awkward though! Standing stiffly off to the side, his jaw is clenched so hard he might crack a tooth! He’s staring at his feet, only giving grunts as answers, and looks like he wants to be literally anywhere else! But he is a dutiful man, and is holding your bags, and following you around like the puppy he is

He does end up buying a new compression shirt and socks, and MAYBE a jockstrap if you can convince him. He likes the tighter more sporty looks on you and him. If he HAD to choose a style, a cool sports bra and bikini bottoms are his go tos. Usually in black, maybe with your favorite colour as an accent if he can find them.

After the date he does agree to a small cafe lunch where he starts to relax a bit more, and realizes it’s silly to be this terrified of SHOPPING! He’s very respectful but will poke fun at the more just for show bras and panties, like…they don’t cover anything! Don’t let him learn about pasties cause he won’t be able to stop laughing for awhile!

You owe him a date now! He went shopping with you, so now you have to go shopping with him! And eye for an eye! You go buy some sporting goods, or cactus stuff. (Also, if you find some underwear with cactuses on them he may or may not turn into Jade and start teaching you about the different types)

When you become a little girl, you like daddies! Fast-forward a couple of months later and they are begging us to let them be adopted by their daddy. They become incredibly fussy, throw tantrums all the time, cry all the time. They’re asbolutely miserable. Still, you’d think we have to respect their previous wishes, but guess what? We let them get adopted and not once has there been a problem. In fact, because we make sure to stay in contact with them, what we see is that they’ve never been happier. Though decisions. So, ready to sign up?”

Whether your vocals are horrible or not, I feel like you should match her goofy vibe. So since she’s always dancing, you should match that by singing her the most unserious things. Like if you calls for you, you don’t answer normally, instead you’d say yes in the form of an overly extended run.

You treat her to Chipotle

KK loves some Chipotle, it’s actually insane how many of her TikTok reposts I’ve seen about it 😭😭 I feel like you guys could make it a once a week thing, Fridays maybe.

She’s so gosh darn touchy

She always wants to hold hands, or even just have a limb making contact with you. So she’d probably rest a leg on you just because.

Because KK is a live stream warrior, you’re going to be a guest in a decent amount of them.

You help KK do her hair, or wash it before her hair appointment.

In addition to that, I feel like you guys would search through Pinterest together to find more hairstyles for her. KK would probably be insanely indecisive, though, so it takes you guys forever to find something that she likes.

KK definitely rummages through your things out of boredom.

“Babe, what’s this?” She’s sat on the floor of your dorm, with a random item in her hand, peering up at you.

“Girl— put that back!”

Your room always ends up a mess as a result of her “curiosity.”

“It looked at me first!” KK replied.

Obviously, she gives you her jerseys to wear to games.

Also, as a devoted girlfriend you do have a blanket with cutouts of her face on it. It’s your favorite thing, ever. When KK got it for you, you laughed for like 10 minutes straight, but you use it like every night.

KK: it’s so that if you ever have another girl in here she knows that you sleep with me every night.

You: Why would I have another girl in here? Beside our friends Kamorea…

KK: I don’t know, you tell me *eyebrow raise*

You ask KK about Wisconsin lore.

You two are sat in KK’s car, having gone through the drive through of a restaurant.

“Come open the doorrrrrrr.” She spoke, a blanket draped around her shoulder and her voice somewhat hushed.

On that day, we became friends. We became rivals. We became legends.

Happy 1st anniversary Scarlet and Violet! This gen holds a special place in my heart; thanks to the co-op mode, I was able to play this game with my brother, which we have not played together for ages since BW. We battled a lot and he helped me find the remaining two stakes (which I can proudly say that I found the rest on my own without relying on the guide) during Christmas. It was so fun and I genuinely felt like I was thrusted back to that time.

Yes, the issues are unfortunately undeniable to forget, but gosh darn it I love this game too much especially the cast. I felt strongly sympathetic towards Nemona, who didn’t have anyone to share her joys and passion with at full extent; Penny, with her struggles with isolation and bullying; then we have Arven, who took care himself basically for most of his life without parental care, and sought whatever means to help his good ol doggo. And then we have the Kitakami siblings, which I hope we can make amendments cause oh boy, Kieran's personality and frustration losses resonated with me a lot. A lot. Then we have our korai/mirai. I love, love, love how we end up creating a name, a legacy for ourselves and our riding lizards. Plus, the lore for the ruinous four is just absolutely awesome.

when you were sent on a business trip out of the country for three months because the project required it, hoshi was devastated. he whined and complained and stuck to you like glue that entire week before you left. he was heartbroken truly.

"what do you mean you're going away for three months? WITHOUT ME?", he asks when you tell him the news. "just pack me in your luggage babe, no one will notice", he tells and you chuckle at his proposition. "im serious, i saw this video of someone squeezing themselves in a suitcase and -", "hoshi, i'll be back before you know it", you tell, reassuring him. he's still sad about it. the video calls weren't enough and because of the darn timezone difference, you two struggled to find a time when you both were online. so it was mostly a few calls. no matter how many heart emojis and horanghaes he texted you, it wasn't enough. he needed you here, in his arms. it took him a week to get used to you not sleeping with him in the night :(

but today hoshi was excited, he was too excited. he's been counting down to this day like his life depended on it. you were back, you were finally back and he could finally hold you in his arms again. he woke up waytoo early to get ready and drove to the airport at an ungodly hour just to pick you up - and he was 2 hours early. but he didn't mind as long as it meant he was going to see you again.

when it's finally time for your flight to arrive, hoshi's waiting at the arrivals gate like a puppy waiting for its owner. he's looking and scanning through everyone person walking out, looking for you. when he finally sees you, he bursts out in a smile and waves at you excitedly to get your attention. when you look over at him, you smile as well, walking faster and basically running into hoshi's open arms. gosh. how you had missed his hugs.

"the love of my life is back", he says as he hugs you tighter.

back at your apartment, you take a quick shower, too tired to do anything else and crash in bed. you're wrapped in hoshi's arms as you show him pictures of the food and other things you saw there, ones that you couldn't send him. afterwards he puts the phone to the side and looks at you, pulling you even closer.

"i couldn't sleep without you", he tells. "me too", you reply, playing with his fingers, familiarizing yourself with his touch and hands again. he continues to look at you as you look up at him. "i think i deserve a kiss don't you think?", he adds softly, looking at you and you sit up a bit. "you'll get all the kisses you want", you tell, smiling as you lean in to leave a big kiss on his cheek. he chuckles and meets your eyes again, his hand coming up to cup your cheek.

"can i kiss you", he asks softly, searching your eyes and you gulp softly, suddenly getting nervous. you've never kissed him - a real kiss. and now, you want nothing more than for him to kiss you.

"y-yeah", you let out and he's slowly leaning in, closing the gap between you both as he presses his lips on yours. it starts off as a sweet kiss, but soon he's moving his lips and kissing you deeper, making you breathless. "god i missed you so much", he whispers against your lips and all you can do is kiss him back in response. and you can't seem to stop either, because you missed him too, missed his touch and presence. he finally pulls away, looking at you adoringly as he watches you try to catch your breath again. "horanghae", he tells, making you burst into a small smile as you roll your eyes, hitting his arm playfully. "i love you too my tiger", you tell and he smiles, happy, leaning in to peck your lips once again before engulfing you in a bone-crushing hug as he mutters that you're never allowed to leave his side ever again.

It disrespected TFP on every level and for that it has my eternal hatred and contempt. The humans were annoying, and I HATED how many interesting plot threads there were that were either done poorly or with so little tact that the writing team should have just scrapped it. The designs are tolerable, but I hate how canon TFP characters lost so much of their individuality in their designs (coughtheopticscough). Smokescreen is fricking GONE, which bothers me more than I care to admit. We see the rest of the team enough to be reasonable, but they all appear in ways that don't really make me happy.

Ratchet was done well enough in my opinion. I like his RID design. It suites him. Optimus's design can go die in a hole, they brutalized that mech. Same with Jazz. Frag those stupid shoulder pads.

Grimlock is fun, I appreciate Sideswipe, although his helm hair thingies I think need a redesign to make sense in relation to his alt mode. Strongarm was HORRIBLY underutilized and I hardly saw any character growth in her. Drift and his crew were interesting, but similarly not given much room to grow. I really liked Windblade for the most part, especially the episode where she tries to baby Optimus and comes out having relearned that Op is still a PRIME with MILLIONS OF YEARS OF WAR EXPERIENCE.

The Primes who've done nothing but sit on their rears had NO RIGHT to belittle Optimus at every turn. Nor did the show have the right to make him an idiot for the sake of making Bee look smarter. As @nova--spark has pointed out, the personality Bee got in the show matches Smokescreen better. Bumblebee wouldn't have SUCKED so much at the whole leadership shtick. What happened to all that skill shown in the movie huh? HUH WRITING TEAM????!??!?!

While I am on this train. OPTIMUS DIED SO GOSH DARN LEAVE HIM ALONE!!! He should have stayed deceased, or if they REALLY needed him back, he should have either returned as an Civi or came back with actual issues. Like dang hear me out mate.

Optimus is forcefully returned to life, beats the Fallen with his borrowed power, but then has to actually deal with the consequences of essentially being a walking bomb for a while. Make him start losing plating, make his frame HURT, make him slim down again into the TFP base design. Just, give him a reason to have to sit back and RECOVER. Not this whole half hearted limping around garbage. To add to that, don't baby the mech. Let him stay at base and fulfill the role Ratchet did in TFP. Let him use his knowledge to teach and offer wisdom, plan battles and locate enemies. For Primus's sake he could have gone undercover on Cybertron or something if they really needed him to go be useless elsewhere.

THEY COULD HAVE EVEN HAD AN ARC WITH HIM GIVING THE TEAM A WAKEUP CALL!!! SIdeswipe has no respect for the mission, Grimlock is a fool, Strongarm is too snarky, and Bee in this seems to have largely forgotten about the seriousness except for during key moments. They could have made Optimus a minor antagonist, forcing the team to follow wartime standards since they laid down this plot thread regarding issues between leadership styles and Optimus trying to take control of the operation more than once.

I would have paid money to see Optimus's wartime mentality show itself in the best and worst ways through how he worked with this group of non war vets on a Decepticon capture mission. Maybe even have him use lethal force once or twice, or at least hint at it so that people can be reminded that he is a mech who went to war, killed countless bots, and both drove their people to and saved their people from extinction.

Bee could have had to teach Optimus to calm down. He could have helped eased his leader out of his wartime mindset. Or following that whole council running Cybertron route, Optimus could have had his moment of being very much right when he points out WHY he fought at all and gestures towards the new council. There was SO MUCH potential in this show, so many good threads and interesting Decepticon character that could have given so much depth to the war and the aligned continuity as a whole, but they were almost ALL ignored.

*deep breath*

Alright, sorry about that. I have big feelings in regards to how dirty Optimus was done. Moving on, the Predacons were killed off supposedly and that pisses me off ESPECIALLY because it was done in a fricking offscreen setting. What the hell happened to Predaking??? WHERE DID HE GO????

Starscream's design was rad though, not going to lie.

Where is Shockwave? No seriously where is that fragger? After several years of the map he MUST have an army growing in a tank somewhere.

Soundwave. Why. ARe. YOU. HERE??!?!?!? I love you man but dang you are so out of place. He made sense in the context of trying to get to Megatron, but idk he felt like he deserved better. He should have been the big brain behind the Cons on Earth if you asked me. It would have made everything far more intense, especially if the Cons dont follow Decepticon creed as seen by Soundwave.

The humans were annoying. Sorry they just were.

Fixit is Primus's gift to RID and he's one of the few individuals who makes it less annoying. Idk, I just like him in reasonable doses.

WHERE ARE THE TFP KIDS?! WHY HAS BEE NOT CALLED THEM?? GOOD HEAVENS THERE IS A WHOLE SUBPLOT RIGHT THERE!!!

*yet another deep breath*

Apologies.

To put things simply, I would rather a group of fanfic writers put RID together than whoever the writing team was. They could have made a coherent story with deep characters that actually address the ramifications of millions of years of war and lingering functionalist mindsets. They would have done the lore and the world justice even if there were no main characters popping up.

I think RID has so much potential, but that almost all of it went right down the toilet due to either the higher ups sticking their noses where they don't belong or because the writing team couldn't go two minutes without retconning or otherwise destroying established everything.
