I Remember You
Tumblr media
Pairing: Peter Parker x reader
Summary: Y/n remembers everything.
a/n: I hope you guys like this I had been working on it for a while but I really have no idea how I wanted to end it. But I hope the choice I made leaves it open for interpretation. Thank you for reading <3

I take my seat as I wait for the barista to let me know my coffee is ready. I come to this cafe every Friday morning.
I bring a book, and sit at the same table and wait...
There's this boy, his name is Peter Parker. About a month ago the news said that he was The Spider-Man. It was insane and everyone lost it. They were saying  he was a murderer because supposedly he killed Mysterio.
I don't believe it though. I know Peter Parker, okay maybe not like.. super personally. But, we've been going to school together since we were in elementary school. I can believe he is Spider-Man though I've had a few interactions with him and the personality I see. But, he's no killer.
Anyways...a weeks after his identity was released there were like these weird villains showing up. Then this huge thing was happening in the sky. It looked like it was almost...breaking in a way. I don't know maybe I just sound crazy..
Then, later that night, everyone just stopped talking about him. Literally..it was almost as if...he never existed. So I thought I was going insane, thinking I made it all up.
Till one day when I came here, Peter Pan Donut Shop.
I actually saw him come in, and he ordered a coffee. MJ and Ned acted like they had no idea who he was. When I am pretty sure him and Ned have been friends since..well forever. I'm also pretty sure him and MJ were like dating not that long ago, but I just assumed they had a bad breakup.
Until he LITERALLY introduced himself to her!! What?! I know! I was thinking the same thing. That's why I spent the last few weeks coming here.
Today I plan to make a move. Not like romantically. I just need to talk to him. I need to know I'm not crazy.
Okay yeah I definitely sound crazy.
"Y/n, Hot Chai, 2 shots espresso with whip!" I hear MJ yell my order. "Hey, Thank you." I say to her as I grab my drink and slip some cash into her tip jar.
"Of course!" We chat for a bit till I see him entre the cafe. MJ is actually really nice, if I'm being honest in high school I thought she was kinda intimidating.
I decided to gather my things and move to the bench outside. It's a nice day for this time of year so I don't wanna spend all day in there.
Almost immediately i hear the door ding as it swings open. I stand to see the brunette pass me. Immediately I try to flag him down.
"Excuse me, Peter." I say gathering my things to catch up with him. He almost immediately stops in his tracks at the sound of his name.
He turns and comes towards me so fast I barely have even left the bench.
"You know.." He whispered.
"That you're spi-" I'm cut off by him slapping his hand over my mouth. "No no no shhh.." using the other hand to hold a finger in front of his mouth.
" okay, okay.." I slowly move his hand off of me. "But, please can we talk."
He quirks an eyebrow giving me a questioning look. "Who are you?" He says it's less of a question though and more like he's demanding to know. Hurts my feelings a little though we did go to school together since kindergarten. "Y/n we've gone to school together...like our whole lives.."
He looks me over. "Okay, but not here."
We arrived at what I believe is his apartment. It's small but nice. Comfortable for someone living alone, and he barely has any furniture so I can tell he just moved in.
"Why don't you exist?" I ask. "Wow, straight to the point." He says moving through the kitchen. "Water?"
"No thank you, could you answer my question please." I smile. He lets out a breath, running his hand over his face.
"I did it to save everyone. The multi-verse was... Breaking? The only way I could fix it was to make everyone forget Peter Parker."
"Why do I remember? It was like one second. Your identity being exposed was all anyone could talk about, but then everything stopped. Within seconds." I take a breath. "Also what the hell is the multiverse?!"
" I don't know. And basically what it sounds like."
"I felt like I was crazy." I let out a small laugh. "You're not." He laughs with me.
We ended up spending the rest the night just hanging out. We played boardgames, got pizza, and ended the night watching movies.
"You know it's nice to finally talk to someone who...knows who I am." He turns to face me.
I turned a look at him, making eye contact and then looking away. "Is it true?"
"hmm"
"Did you.." I make air quotes. " 'Kill' Mysterio?"
He sucks in a breath. "Yes, but he wasn't good."
"I didn't think so." I look at him offering a supportive smile.
"He tricked me. I thought he was someone I could trust."
"How do you know you can trust me?" I shift in my seat to be fully facing him. "I have a..well my Aunt called it a 'tingle' about you. It's a good one though."
"Ew." I make scrunch my face in fake disgust. "No no not like that." He says slight panick in his voice. When we make eye contact we immediately burst out laughing.

Confession In The Dark - Rhea Ripley x Fem! Reader x Dominik Mysterio
Tumblr media

Warnings: fluff, mention of smut and burping.
A/N: Hi, dear! Of course! I don't have much knowledge about fluffy smut, but I tried to include only the mention and no kinks because I read in your guidelines you don't write any kink and I though you would be uncomfortable. Hope this is fine, if not, do not hesitate to let me know. Also, sorry I'm late, but I had a writer block.
MINORS DO NOT INTERACT!

Rey, Angie and Aalyah were out for a family dinner without that 'pain in the ass' of Dominik.
"That's so rude of them!" You thought once he told you on the phone as he called you and Rhea over to have some beer and watch a movie together.
You and Rhea have lived in the same apartment for three years now and you both agreed to enjoy Dom as you though he could be hurt from being called a pain in the ass by his parents and sister earlier.
Rhea drove at Dom's place. He welcomed you inside before to welcome you in his blanket and pillows fort. "Isn't that a little... childish?" Rhea raised an eyebrow at the amount of blankets and pillows held up by the chairs of the dining table.
You punched her arm with your elbow. "Be nice!" Rhea let out an ouch, rubbing the spot you punched. "Okay, okay."
Dominik pulled out three beers from the fridge and the pizza he ordered earlier and that was delivered before you and Rhea arrived.
You spent the first hour chilling in the fort, eating pizza and drink iced beer. Suddenly Rhea burped so loud like her soul left her body or the devil coming out of her.
"Rhea, wtf?!" You said as you covered your nose as it stinked. It smelled like the salami on the pizza she ate before chugging her beer. Dominik laughed, slapping his hand on his knee, almost dying due his own laughing.
"Oh my God, she had fucking demons inside!" He was losing his breathe until a thunder could be heard from outside and the three of you guys were wrapped in darkness. For your luck, Dominik had a wireless light in the fort.
"Fuck- That was a loud one." Rhea cursed. "Just know I'm too afraid to go and fix it." Dominik shaked his head.
"Fuck you, Dom." Rhea crossed her arms to her chest. "Well, I feel like this is kinda... Romantic, don't you think?" You tried to make it sound less worst than it was before Rhea and Dominik could get into a fight.
"Speaking of fuck-" Rhea shutted his mouth, covering it with her palm before he could finish his inappropriate sentence and ruin the surprise, making you uncomfortable. "We both actually have something to confess to you, Y/n."
You gasped. "What a coincidence. I have a confession as well." You admited.
Their eyes widened. "You do?" You nodded to confirm, before starting with your confession first.
"These days we spent together, I figured out I developed some kinda of feelings for you guys." You face heated up after you spoke.
"Y/n..." Rhea started, uncovering Dom's mouth. "We hope we don't ruin this moment, but..." He continued. "We figured out we have feelings for you, too."
Once you guys were all done with your confession, your eyes locked, an awkward exchange of romantic look made your faces heat up even more.
"This is kinda awkward..." Dom broke that little silence. "But do you think we could already take our relationship to the next level?"
You smiled, giving them a nod to consent.
You won't easily forget the face of the other members of the Mysterio family when they came back home earlier than you guys though and the fort was already filled with your guys' moans and whimpering.

Deception [Part 1]
Mysterio x Reader | Read the original here
Tumblr media
This is an AU universe of the MCU Spider-Man.  The reader is a female version of Spider-Man and is an adult who is an Avenger.  Characters are pretty much the same, just a few AU adjustments.  This story closely follows the plot of Far From Home.
a/n:  the reader was not dusted during the Blip.  I kept the Parker last name just out of personal preference (sorry if that ruins it for you lol), no I haven't decided if Mysterio is actually a villain or not that’s a decision I will make if I decide to continue the story.  I am not including the E.D.I.T.H. glasses in this AU.
~~~
You sat on top of a high building overlooking the city in front of you.  You could hear horns honking and the flutter of bat wings.  People chattered below you.  It felt nice to finally be home for good.  The events of the past five years had taken a serious tole on your mental health.  You had watched your mentor sacrifice his own life in order to make sure your biggest foe was gone for good.  It was hard knowing many of the heroes you had looked up to at a young age were gone forever.  You were one of the few remaining members of the Avengers left on Earth.  Many of them decided to go somewhere else to protect the universe.  But you stayed here.
You were only sixteen when Tony recruited you for the Avengers.  You were twenty-one now.  An adult.  But you did not feel like an adult.  You still felt like the same scared little kid who almost got killed by Thanos a couple years ago.  You sometimes wake up from reliving that nightmare.  The feeling of getting thrown and slammed onto the ground.  The feeling of air escaping your lungs and not being able to return.  Your vision going blurry.  It was all still too real for you.  It was one of your weakest moments.  You felt like you had let everyone down in that moment.  If the others had not been there you would be dead.  You knew that.  But that was the point of having a team.  Stronger in numbers.
You continued staring out at the illuminating city.  You sometimes wish you had never been bit by that spider that day.  Things could have been so much simpler.   That was a stupid thought.  You remembered idolizing Iron Man as a child.  You always wanted to protect the world as he did.  He inspired you to be a better person.  He inspired you to want to help others.  He still inspired you today.  His sacrifice was a statement to the world that heroes would do anything to protect them.
Suddenly, you felt your phone begin vibrating.  You grabbed it from your pocket.  It was Happy.  You picked up, “Hey, Hap.  What’s up, man?”  “Come back home, we have to talk about something,” Happy spoke through the phone.  You were concerned, “Okay.  I am on my way.  Is everything okay?”  Happy mumbled into the phone, “We will talk more when you get here.”  He hung up.  It worried you that Happy was speaking so fast and was fast to hang up.  You pulled your mask over your face and jumped off the building.
You landed on top of the building next to your apartment building.  You triple checked to make sure no one was around.  You crawled down the wall and hid behind the dumpster.  You took off your suit and threw it into the bag you had hidden, throwing it over your shoulder once the suit was hidden.  You climbed up the wall, reaching your window and crawling inside.  You threw your bag onto the bed and continued into the living room to see Happy sitting with your Uncle.  They were both smiling and laughing about something.  You cleared your throat, “I’m home.”  Happy and Uncle Ben turned to you.  Uncle Ben rose from the couch, “Hi, honey!  I am so glad you are home.  Happy and I were just catching up.”  You smiled at him.  But your smile quickly shifted when you began to address Happy, “What was it you needed to talk to me about, Happy?”  Happy smiled at you, “Sorry for the rush on the phone, Y/N.  I had just arrived here and I did not want to be rude to Ben.”  You exhaled a sigh of relief, “Happy!  You scared me.  I thought something was seriously wrong.”  Happy chuckled, “Sorry about that.  Now.  As I told Ben, we should be expecting a visitor soon.”  You were confused, “What do you mean a vi-”
There was a knock at the door.  Happy walked over and opened it to reveal Nick Fury standing in your doorway.  You shuttered.  “Now, I want to know why you are so hard to get in contact with, Miss Parker,” Fury began.  “I-I’ve been really busy,” you defended.  “Happy tells me you have been dodging my calls.  You shot a look at Happy.  “Don’t look at me like that, he’s my boss too,” Happy acknowledged your look.  “I don’t care about how you feel about me trying to contact you, Miss Parker.  You are an Avenger and I do not take kindly to someone not acting like it,” Fury shut down your dismay quickly.  You stared at the man in front of you.  He was right.  You had not been acting like an Avenger lately.  Truly.  You did not want to act like one.  You enjoyed getting to relax after watching everyone else leave.  You felt alone as an Avenger.  Fury was right.  You needed to begin acting like an Avenger.  “There will be a car here to pick you up at 5 a.m. tomorrow morning.  I suggest you don’t keep me waiting any longer.  I have someone for you to meet,” he was stern with his statement.  “Yes, sir,” you agreed.  “Now, since you made me come all the way here to get you, where can a brother get a drink,” Fury spoke.
Fury and Happy were gone.  It was late.  You sat in the dim lit living room alone.  You hunched over your phone that laid on the table in front of you.  You stared at the picture of you and Tony.  Any time with Tony was a fun time.  You idolized the man.  He made you into the hero you are.  “What would he think of you like this,” you whispered to yourself.  You had been down lately.  What Tony did was marvelous.  You could never be like him.  He was the hero the world needed.  You are just some weird girl who can stick to stuff.  You felt your eyes begin to fill a little.  “Everything okay,” Uncle Ben sat down next to you.  You looked at him, “I’m fine.  Just thinking.”  He knew you were lying.  You could see it on his face.  He wrapped one of his arms around you, “I’m here if you need me, kiddo.”  You rested your head on his shoulder, “Thanks, Ben.”
~
You did not sleep the night before.  You had began to take a shower, but instead you sat in the tub thinking about what tomorrow would hold.  You sat there for quite sometime thinking before you realized you needed to get out and get ready.  It was 4:45 now.  You grabbed your suit and put it on.  You had contemplated whether or not to wear the suit.  You decided it was best to.  You never knew who you could trust anymore.  You wrote Uncle Ben a note that read “Time for super stuff, love you.”  You knew he would understand.  He always understood.  You pulled your mask over your face and climbed out the window.  It was chilly out this early.  5 a.m. arrived and a large black vehicle arrived promptly.  You were escorted into the back where Nick Fury sat.  He eyeballed you, “Why the suit, kid?”  You were embarrassed under the mask, “I don’t know who I can trust, so I thought I shou-” “Don’t be an idiot.  Anyone I would bring into our headquarters is someone you can trust.  You know that,” he cut you off.  You shook your head in agreement, but did not remove the mask.  Despite everything, you felt unsafe.  Something felt off about the whole situation.  Your Spider-Sense was telling you so.
In what felt like the blink of an eye, you were in the secret headquarters.  Fury got out of the vehicle, you were close behind.  You followed him, passing many workers.  You did not recognize them.  They were all basically strangers to you.  It felt wrong.  You felt like you should not be here.  You and Fury entered the elevator together.  It went down many floors.  “Kid, you don’t have to be so tense.  I would not let anyone in here who could hurt you,” Fury reassured.  He could tell you were nervous.  You nodded.
“Now then,” the elevator opened and you both stepped out, “Spider-Girl, I’d like you to meet Mr. Beck.”  A tall man in a cape stood in front of you.  He smiled, “So, you’re the one everyone has been telling me about.  It’s a pleasure.”  He extended his hand.  You placed your hand in his.  He leaned in and whispered, “You can call me Quentin.”  You shook his hand, “Hi.  H-Hold on.  I-I’m sorry, but are you the guy from the news?”  He chuckled, “Yeah, that’s me.  Wishing I had hidden my identity better.  But I thought it would help people to have a face with their hero.”  You snapped your fingers while trying to remember, “Now then, what was it they called you?  Mysterio?”  He smiled, “Yep.  That’s the name they’ve given me.”  You were amazed at the man in front of you.  He had came out of no where and was already loved and adored by the public.  You were always seen as a menace.
Fury coughed, “If you two are finished...”  You and Quentin directed your attention to him.  “Now then.  We have been informed that there have been spikes in energy all across the globe.  I have decided that the two of you would be the best fit in handling this situation.  Spider-Girl, as one of the last remaining members of the Avengers, you will be heading the mission,” Fury was serious.  You shook your head in disbelief, “Wait.  Wait, isn’t there anyone else you can call on.  I’ve never really soloed a mission before.”  Fury furrowed his brows, “You are going to head this mission.”  “What about Carol?  Thor?  Any of the Guardians?  They are all way more qualified than I am,” you argued.  “They all have more important things to do.  But you, all you’ve been doing is swinging around this city stopping petty crime.  Now, as your superior, I am telling you what you will be doing.  I suggest you do not give me anymore lip about it.  You’re walking a fine line with me already.  Tony is not here to protect you anymore.  You have to learn to protect yourself,” Fury’s tone was growing frustrated.  You stood in silence.  “Do I make myself clear,” he asserted.  You nodded, “Yes sir.”
You spent the next several hours discussing plans.  Where these anomalies were happening.  The best plan of attack.  This panicked you more than anything.  A huge responsibility was being put on your shoulders.  You did not know anything about this mission.  Nothing made sense.  It was all too convenient.  After the discussions were done, Fury directed you and Quentin further, “I got the two of you a hotel room.  There are two beds.  It will help the two of your bond to be that close.  You two need to get to know each other pretty well in order for this mission to succeed.”  “Wonderful,” you thought.  All you were wanting was to be alone.  You shook your head in agreement.  “I’m going to go out for a bit.  I need to think alone for a while,” you excused yourself.  Quentin smiled, “I’ll see you later.”
You sat on top of a building.  You seemed to do this a lot.  You loved admiring the city.  It was beautiful especially at night.  Suddenly, Quentin appeared in front of you.  You were not alarmed.  “What’s up, Spider-Girl,” he questioned as he sat down beside you.  His helmet disappeared revealing his handsome face once again.  “This whole hero thing... it’s always been different for me, Quentin.  I have always been the underdog no matter what I do.  I am one of the only Avengers he can call on and somehow I am still not good enough for him,” you spilled.  Quentin smiled at you, “I for one think you are an amazing hero.  I have no doubt you were born to be an amazing hero.”  You chuckled.  Quentin raised an eyebrow, “What’s so funny?”  You shook your head, “I used to be a scared high schooler who witnessed her aunt get murdered in front of her.  Then, I went from being a normal kid to fighting some crazy guy in a mechanical bird costume.  I never asked to be an Avenger.  It was a freak accident, Quentin.”  Quentin placed his hand on your thigh, “Everything happens for a reason.”  You blushed at his touch.  “You don’t even know me,” you muttered.  Quentin leaned closer to you, “I want to get to know you, Spider-Girl.”  He placed his hand on the under part of your mask and raised it up to your nose, you grabbed his wrist fast.  Quentin jumped slightly.  “I-I... I’m n-not ready for you to kn-know who I am,” you stuttered.  He smiled slightly, “That’s okay.  I understand.”  You let go of his wrist.  “It’s nothing per-personal, we just met.  Not many people know who I am,” you were embarrassed.  He smiled.
You stood up, “I-I’m gonna go.  I should probably get some food in me.  I-I’ll see you back at the hotel.”  He followed you, “We can go together.  We are going to be spending a lot of time together.  I’d like to get to know the person I am working with.”  Your cheeks were red under your mask.  You were fighting yourself inside your head.  Should you or should you not?  It was difficult.  You wanted to open up to people, but that was too difficult.  “Sure, Quentin,” you agreed.  “But here’s the thing.  You’ll have to get the food and meet me back up here.  I can’t be seen just chilling in a local restaurant.  I don’t need that kind of press right now,” you told him.  His expression change into a frown, “Oh.”  You felt bad.  Maybe Quentin was safe.  Maybe you could trust him.  Maybe it was time to take a risk.  “Look,” you began, “Okay.  Meet me downstairs in like seven minutes.  We will walk somewhere together.  Just... put some normal clothes on.  Let’s do something not as supers for a while.”  Quentin’s face lit up.  He took your hands in his, “Seriously?  You’ll go to dinner with me?”  You smiled under your mask, “Yeah, I guess.”  Quentin smiled even wider, “You won’t regret this!”  Quentin rushed to the door and excused himself.
You changed in one of the bathrooms up stairs.  You put on a plain t-shirt and a pair of jeans.  You wanted to look as normal as possible.  “Maybe this is all a mistake... don’t you think you’re rushing,” you thought.  You shook it off and headed for the elevator.  You took it down to the lobby.  You saw Quentin across the room.  He was wearing a blue button-up and jeans.  It seemed odd to see him outside of his suit.  “He’ll definitely feel the same,” you thought.  You walked over to him, “Hey, Quentin.”  He turned and stared at you.  You froze.  “Oh God, what have I done,” you thought in panic.  “Wow,” he spoke, “You’re beautiful.”  You felt your cheeks turn pink.  You shook off his compliment, “No, no.  I never got to formally introduce myself.  I’m Y/N Parker.  And yes, I am behind the mask.  Hope you aren’t disappointed.”  He shook his head, “I’m not disappointed at all.  I’m pleasantly surprised.”  Your face flooded with color again and you chuckled slightly.  “So,” you changed the subject, “You ready to walk?”  He smiled at you, “I’d be happy to walk with you anywhere, Y/N.”
The two of you headed out.  You talked about what being a superhero from a young age was like, about how much you missed your friends and a normal life.  Quentin told you a story about what life was like for him before everything happened.  He told you about his family which he has lost.  The two of you sharing made you feel better about revealing who you are to him.  Your guard had been up nonstop since the giant fight with Thanos.  It was hard for you to allow new people into your life.  You had pushed away your friends from school, it was easier since they had blipped and you didn’t.  You regretted isolating yourself.
Quentin went inside a restaurant and ordered food for the both of you then you both walked back.  Of course the two of you could not go out without him getting recognized.  He is the most popular hero on the scene right now.  A couple of girls your age ran up confirming it was him and snapping a picture with him.  One of them making a quick comment about how handsome he was, and you couldn’t help the slight feeling of jealousy in your stomach.  You shook the feeling off, the two of you were not dating.  You were thankful the girls only took a picture of him and did not snap a photo of you together.  It would be suspicious for a picture of Mysterio with a random girl to surface once you two are inevitably spotted together as heroes.  He walked back over to you and smiled.  “Super star, eh?” You jabbed at him.  He blew his breath out and smiled, “No... you think so?”  You laughed with him,
Your guard was lower than it had been in years.  You felt a weight you'd been carrying for a while begin to lift.  You could not deny the slight crush you were developing on Quentin.  He was charming and funny.  Not to mention handsome.  You enjoyed his company.  He attempted to take your hand in his causing you to jump at the sudden touch.  “Oh- Sorry,” Quentin’s face flushed with embarrassment.  You shook your head, “No-No you’re fine.  Just caught me off guard is all.”  It was strange that your body did not warn you of him about to touch you.  You must have sensed no danger on him.  This was new for you.  The rest of the walk was silent between you two.
You returned back to your hotel room with the food.  You could not help but feel embarrassment for making what was developing between you two awkward.  You were beating yourself up and on top of it, your room key decided to give you a hard time.  You leaned your head against the hotel door, sighing in frustration.  You felt Quentin get closer to you, reaching for your wrist to help you with the door key.  “You just have to give it a little longer,” he spoke softly.  The door clicked and you tried the handle again.  It opened.  “Thank you,” you mumbled looking at him.  He was smiling at you.
The two of you sat at the tiny coffee table together.  He pulled the food out of the bags, handing you yours first.  You picked at your food, too anxious to really eat.  There were a billion things on your mind, yet you could not focus on one of them.  “Y/N?”  You had gotten lost in your own thoughts.  “Sorry, just a lot on my mind,” you shot a fake smile at him.  He reached across the table and placed his hand on yours, “You can talk to me.”  You sighed.  Struggling to look at him, “Fury just puts so much pressure on me.  It’s like he expects me to... I don't know.  I barely know what I’m doing.”  Quentin squeezed your hand slightly, “Fury believes in you.  He knows you can be the next Iron Man.  The next leader of the Avengers!”  You chuckled, “I don’t want to be the next Iron Man.  Tony... he never wanted me to end up like him.  I love being a hero, but I’m a friendly neighborhood Spider-Girl.  I wasn’t ready to fight a giant titan in space and nearly die.”  There was a silence between you both.  You sure did know how to get people to stop talking to you, didn’t you?  You felt tears building up in your eyes.  Quentin caressed your hand with one of his fingers, “It’s okay to be scared, Y/N.  You haven’t had a break.”  You looked up at him and smiled, “Thank you.”  His gaze lingered on you.  You felt your cheeks growing a little pink.  “You’re so beautiful, Y/N.  I wish we had met under different circumstances,” Quentin intertwined fingers with you.
You both finished what you wanted of your food then sat on your separate beds.  You scrolled mindlessly on your phone for a bit.  Of course, videos of Mysterio were everywhere.  The public adored him worldwide.  You were happy to be working with him.  You stretched slightly and stood up, “I’m gonna go get ready for bed.”  Quentin mumbled an “Okay” not looking up from his book.  You walked into the tiny bathroom and splashed some water in your face.  You changed into some sleep shorts and a tank top.  You were brushing your teeth when he knocked on the door.
“Yeah?”
“Can I come in?”
That’s weird...
“Sure, I’m decent,” you joked.
Quentin opened the door only wearing his boxers.  You looked at him in the mirror and an indistinguishable look was on his face.  He walked up to you slowly, wrapping his hands around your waist.  He made sure his hands ran over every inch of your skin until they met for him to pull you close.  You felt chills run all over your body.  He rested his chin on your shoulder, looking into your eyes through the mirror.  His beard hairs tickled your exposed skin.  You wanted to ask what he wanted, but you knew.  You decided to just enjoy this intimacy.  He began to kiss your shoulder, all the way up to your neck.  You could feel something poking your back.  Your body was flooding with heat.  Could you really be this vulnerable with someone?  You were loving the attention his mouth was giving to your neck.  You placed one of your hands on his head, groaning with pleasure.
“Quentin?”
“Yes?,” he mumbled into your neck.
“What exactly are you trying to do?” you smiled softly at him in the mirror.
“Whatever you’re comfortable with,” he kissed your neck more.
You can’t do this.  Not yet.
You tugged at his arms around you, turning to face him.  “Don’t... don’t be mad at me,” you sighed.  He smiled softly at you, “I would never be mad at you for telling me no when you aren’t ready.”  He cupped your cheek, you closed your eyes enjoying his touch.  “I... I’m so exhausted.  You make me feel so safe... I think this is the first time I have relaxed in years,” you kissed his palm.  “Let’s get you to bed then,” he grabbed your hand and led you to your bed.  You both crawled into your beds.  You rolled over to look at him from the other side.  He was smiling at you.
“Goodnight, beautiful,” he spoke softly leaning for the lamp.
“Goodnight, Quinn,” you yawned.
Alright - favorite versions of mysterio? (Also I'm curious, it seems like you don't seem to care for the mcu version and that's fair and I have a sneaking suspicion I know why, but - what's the beef there?)
I've talked before about why I'm personally not a fan of the mcu version even despite having never watched the movie
[THIS] is the last ask that I answered related to the mcu version of Mysterio and answers it fairly well. but I am curious what your 'sneaking suspicion' is to why I'm not a fan of the mcu Mysterio, though? please let me know!
As for my favorite versions of Mysterio.. gonna whip this image out again & also list them down below the cut, reminder: these are not in any order:
Tumblr media
TSSM: my number 1 brainrot. This one is a given considering he is the one that I based and designed my own Mysterio off of heavily. 1) Debatable Latin, 2) Funny, 3) melodramatic, 4) pathetic, 5) just watch [This]
Shattered Dimensions: [Exhibit A] [Exhibit B] [Exhibit C]
Webspinners: uhm.. uhm have you seen that one panel of him.. when he's first entering his old childhood home? that one panel.. is def the best he's been drawn in that comic, but also.. your honor. I could never in a million years hope to fix that man, but you gotta admit, -gestures vaguely- move over Betsy, I'm about to GET IT-- [my reaction post]
@scoutverse: Does fanmade count? because uhh.. Arcade's Quintin Beck.. he's uhm.. Arcade knows my thoughts and feelings on his ukranian twunk. how dare you make him so appealing in so many ways. I am abnormal for him. <3
Insomniac SM2: ..Listen. His whole side mission is just.. it's a chef kiss from me, okay. [the whole side mission] I am genuinely.. falling for this one. Send help-- sdkjhdsjkf
@lazydaydrawings: ..I am not above being a lover of a good monster okay. And their Mysterio? 10/10 all around. I am very normal about him I swear-- (she is lying through her teeth) I desire to learn more about him and also the entire world that they came up with for their spidersona, too!! It's so cool and just!!! YOU GOTTA CHECK IT OUT. GO!! LOOK!!
Renew Tour Vows: I just like how he looks. there's like literally nothing to his character here. I just like how he looks... his design is..... very appealing.. a shame he was only present for like 0.5 seconds :( [just look at him]
Mooseterio: THIS CREATURE HAS NOTHING BUT [THAT ONE CANON PIECE OF ART] AND [HIS CAMEO IN ATSV]. I AM DEVASTATED. ME AND LIKE 2? OTHER PEOPLE ARE (rarely/occasionally) CREATING CONTENT FOR HIM. He is a goofy funny moose with googly eye cape clasps. Rocky & Bullwinkle wannabe (affectionate) Honestly I prefer this design over the Mysteriape one by a long shot. Same goes for MJ Waterbuffalo over Mary Crane Watsow. It just looks better, more fitting/more personality.
How To Read Comics The Marvel Way: ..Listen. You just have to read it and see him for yourself. [Link to read]
616 Comics: Alright I admit I like the basic 616 comic Mysterio, too. You can't love Mysterio without loving his OG variant. Old man ran an obstacle course marathon so all the others could do a leisurely jaunt. He grew on me the more I fell in deep with liking Mysterio in general :(
Honorable Mentions: @itschr1spy, @spooky-salesman, @masterserris/@neomysterio highly recommend you talk to them about their Mysterios!! They're all really cool and unique and totally worth checking out!!
There you sat in your usual local coffee shop, the cafe you would linger inside with your backpack occupying the seat across from you.
The strong stench of brewed coffee and stale bread lingered in the air as your homework sat idly scattered about on the table, accompanied by your ancient MacBook that was poorly decorated with stickers you had ordered when you were in middle school.
Sitting with your elbow perched on the surface of the table, your chin resting comfortably in the palm of your hand.
Your fingers lightly drumming against the soft of your cheek, lips pouted as your other hand danced against the touchpad of your laptop music sounding through your earbuds.
Scrolling through college scholarship information, Ned and Peter had emailed you in hopes of getting you interested in attending the dream college they all planned.
The boys made an offer to help you search for programs and courses that you would also like to complete alongside theirs, not wanting you to feel left behind as they had drastically different hobbies than you did. It comes as no surprise that you were never really much of a math or science guy.
So your two best friends help you as much as they can with the whole "college application" thing. It was also their first time doing the rundown of applying for scholarships with their sparkling clean-looking grades.
At the very least, you had a long history of sports to make you look good on paper.
Though you were in a drastically different cliche than your friend group, you were still really close with everyone. You were close enough to know that Spiderman was your best friend, Peter Parker. Of course, you had to force the information out of Ned, who struggled to keep secrets from you as it was.
You were tired of feeling left out during the awkward period that the two teenage boys would whisper about to themselves, sharing glances and excluding you from things after school, stumbling to make valid excuses around the Stark internship.
It only took a surprise ambush and rushed into Peter’s bedroom while he was off guard to see him all dressed up in his super suit. The worst that you were expecting was to catch him during "alone time".
Trying to wrap your head around the fact that the reason that your friends were being shady was all just because Peter was Spider-Man and he was out and about being an Avenger right under your nose.
Your idle reading was interrupted quite quickly. From the side of your eye, you caught glimpses of the mounted TV showing important news about Spiderman.
You wouldn't think much of it at first, being used to having a secretly famous best friend, but what unsettled you a bit was the random couple that slammed open the door of the cafe in a strange rush.
The male apologized for his partner's aggressiveness as she waved at the barista in a hurried distraught. "Yo, they're talking about Spiderman. Gotta turn it up."
As your heart dropped, the barista, along with everyone else that was startled in the small cafe, turned their attention towards the two small flat screens. As the volume was turned up, the room fell into still silence. You tugged on both earbuds to get a better listen.
“Spiderman’s name is Peter Parker.”
The announcement was enough to make you shoot up from your chair. Your eyes widened as Peter’s school picture was shown on national television, not only being exposed as a superhero but also being linked to murdering Mysterio.
It only took your mind a moment to fully process everything as J.J. Jameson’s voice seemed to echo through your head like an annoying song being stuck on a loop, your hands trembling as your body switched to autopilot.
Slamming your laptop closed and stuffing your belongings back into your backpack. Obviously, you had also swiped all of the cafe's packets of salt and sugar along with your homework and notebooks.
Your fingers were fumbling to unlock your phone screen as you pushed your way outside along the public sidewalk. It seemed like everyone outside had gotten the news as well.
On the street where you were reacting to the news of Spider-Man's identity being revealed, You could only feel panic as you dialed Peter’s number, his number going straight to voicemail as you hurried down the street.
You did not notice that you were already traveling in the direction of Peter’s home until you recognized the flash of red and blue swinging in the air alongside the small mob of people pushing past you to follow the masked boy that swung through the streets in a hurry.
Your phone vibrated in your hands. You could only watch as people ran to follow Peter from the ground, glancing at the caller ID for only a second before answering.
You practically screamed into your phone, "Ned, are you seeing this shit?"
To say that the weekend had erupted into chaos wasn’t enough to describe the following weekend when everyone had found out about Peter’s identity. In just the short span of two days, your life was flipped upside down.
The moment that your parents found out about your involvement with Peter, let alone a superhero, they went into strict mode.
Your parents were lecturing you on who you should involve yourself with.
Your mother was screaming at you for being so reckless, putting your life at stake, taking your phone away just so you could cut all contact from your friend group, and grounding you from leaving the house, along with pulling you from school for the week just so they could keep a close eye on you until the news settled down.
The FBI knocking on your door only adds more fire to your parent's overprotective flame. The two detectives settled into your family room as they questioned you and confiscated all of your devices.
You were slightly more revealing that you had the advantage of having your mother by your side. As they tried to intimidate you with their questions, as any mother would, yours was quick to defend your public image.
Her words paint you as a clear victim being roped into your friend’s antics, saying how you were clearly just a hopeless child being forced into hanging out with them.
"My baby would never do anything that stupid to endanger their life. They barely even knows how to wash their clothes. What makes you think they would even, let alone help a murderer?" Your lips curved into a tight smile as your mother spoke to you, not knowing that her words would catch the limelight of the news about Peter.
Her words were bolded in headlines as yet another story stuck in the news about Peter being the sole mastermind that managed to swindle you, MJ, and Ned into his secret killer spider cult, portraying your entire friend group as victims.
"Well, until we go out to college, I’m practically grounded." You sighed, leaning against the counter.
Your parents only allowed you to leave the house for basketball practice since everything had bubbled over.
You were happy that your parents didn't know much about your practice schedule or the fact that your coach and the entire team had practically shunned you the moment news was spread about you.
Instead, you used the time to turn the corner and hang out with everyone during MJ’s shaft, which was practically the only time that you were able to talk to your friends since your mother had forbidden you from seeing them again.
"And when we get into MIT, we better move in together. If I have to deal with my parents hovering any longer, I swear I’m going to lose it." You sat across from MJ as she stood dressed in her uniform, a bright blue button-up dress, her arms covered by her white long-sleeved undershirt to keep her warm.
"And what if we don't get in?" As she wiped down the counter, MJ’s wariness about the entire situation was evident. The spillover of everything felt like a thick thundercloud looming over your friends.
It had been a difficult few weeks for all of you, being linked to Peter ruining not only your reputation in the city but also leaking into your personal life every college opportunity that you sought out, slamming the door on you the second they would do a background search. You could only sigh at the question, not wanting to think about the worst.
"I think it’s at least nice to have hope." Your moping mood quickly changed as a small smile replaced the frown on your lips, Ned interrupting with his overbearingly positive outlook on everything, chiding MJ’s negativity.
When Peter crawled up to your bedroom window in the middle of the day, asking for you to come with him.
It only took your moment to jump from your desk and stumble down the stairs to lie to your mother about how you had forgotten about the couch and needed you to stay a bit longer for practice to catch up on not being in school for a while.
Once you had slipped out of the front door with your gym bag tucked under your arm, hiding the bag in a bush as Peter broke down everything on why he needed everyone’s help along the way, but what you were more interested in was the mentions of the so-called "wizard".
You had heard many stories from Peter about his adventures of practically being an Avenger that you and Ned would soak up the moment he would tell you guys, but there was something different about being acutely involved in helping him and helping him firsthand that made you a bit more nervous.
Which was why you couldn't keep your hands off of anything the moment you stepped foot into the Sanctum Sanctorum. You felt like you were a child on a field trip the moment you stepped foot into the ancient building.
You struggled a bit to find your footing as your sneakers crunched under the thick layer of snow on the floor.
You looked around the room in almost the same amount of amazement as Ned, just slightly more confused since you didn't really know much background about the building's history and just thought it was a big and cool-looking building that had a cool-looking wizard guy inside.
"I’m so sorry for dragging you guys into this, but you just got to help me find these guys." Peter’s voice echoed through the building as he explained.
You and Ned were not paying much attention as you pulled him by the elbow of his jacket towards a table for cool-looking trinkets that lay on top of a desk covered in snow.
You picked up one of the books that lay about, not really understanding the scribbles of whatever language it was titled in, still flipping through the pages, your brows frowning at the odd drawings and symbols that littered the pages before setting it back down.
"So how did the bad guys get here?" Ned asked as you turned around to gesture in agreement to his question, also curious.
Before Peter could open his mouth Steven answered everyone's attention, turning to the older man as he traveled up the grand staircase.
"He screwed up a spell trying to get you into college." His voice echoed in the room as it took you a moment to fully process what was said. It only took a second for MJ and Ned to bombard Peter with questions.
"No, that was after. Let's just focus on the good news, okay?" Peter answered nervously.
"No," Steven interrupted the teenagers looming over them all, not bothering to hide his obvious annoyance with the situation. "Let's just focus on the bad news."
 Your brow quivered in confusion as your arms crossed over your chest as the man continued to speak.
"As of now, you have detected zero multiversal trespassers, so get on your phones, scour the internet, and... Scooby-Doo this shit." MJ was the first to bite back, given her strong attitude, clearing her throat as the attention shifted over to her.
"You're telling us what to do even though it was your spell that got screwed up, meaning that all of this was kind of your mess." MJ gestured as Steven tilted his head at her words.
"You know, I know a couple of magic words myself, starting with the word please." She finished as everyone turned their heads to glance up at Steven, his brows shifting as he gave a face surprisingly following suit to her request.
"Please, Scooby-Doo this shit." He asked, giving a forced smile, "You can work in the undercroft." He added the wet sound of his boots against the snow, departing as he turned and walked away.
“The undercroft?” Ned spoke with excitement.
Peter guided the group down to the basement, standing at the doorway as Ned was the one to take the lead, most excited to see what was lying in the dark room.
His hands reached up to tug on the light switch as the room's contents revealed themselves under the dim yellow bulb.
"Now I know I'm not a wizard or anything, but isn't this just the basement?" You uttered, as Ned gaped at the things scattered about.
 "Guys, listen about this whole spell thing—" Peter spoke as your eyes widened as Ned smiled at you, showing off the dusty crossbow in his hands.
"It's totally okay." MJ interrupted, clearing Peter of any worry, the brunette glancing at her in a slight surprise that she was the one to easily clear his worries.
"Yeah, I mean, I get it you were trying to fix things, and so maybe just try to run it by us next time, you know?" MJ comforted him.
"Pete, if you're ever going to do the whole 'making a decision that involves my friends or could affect the world' thing, you should ask for some opinions first so we can help you, you know man." You added, as MJ pointed out in agreement.
"Deal," Peter agreed, his face filled with gratitude for the friendship he shared with you two. "Ned?"
 "Oh, dude, I don’t care. It’s seriously not a big deal." He concluded, mostly more interested in the new things that lay about in the basement, his attention completely taken up by the crossbow still in his grasp.
"Oh, a torture rack!" he exclaimed, hurrying towards the tall object.
“That is a pilates machine.”
After being introduced to the multiverse of bad guys that had broken into your timeline, the group searched the internet for any more mysterious beings that seemed to come from a different universe.
Through police reports, Ned managed to locate one more monster. The plan to capture him was seemingly stable until the unexpected happened, capturing not only one but two villains during one mission.
Along with being introduced to a scrawny crazy white guy, one that muttered your name or at least a variant of your name when you introduced yourself, along with MJ.
To say that the day that unfolded was different wasn't enough to describe how absolutely confused you were that the entire thing had unfolded.
New information has been discovered that the villains that were captured were just people that were just about to die the moment that they had been teleported to your timeline.
You had to admit it was sad seeing the men struggle with the news that they were all fated to die just to save your timeline.
You were proud that Peter, who betrayed Steven, snatched the magic cube and decided to save the men instead of just allowing them to die.
The new plan was a little beyond your comprehension or understanding, but what mattered most was that you got the point: protect the magic box thingy at all costs.
The haven that you guys decided to settle in was Ned’s home. Lola welcomed you guys in with no questions the moment you lifted the cube in sight.
You had passed the time while waiting by watching the news and keeping an eye on Peter via whatever you could find on the internet.
Your heart was pounding with worry all day, not only because night had fallen on your best friend, but also because you knew the moment you stepped foot inside your house, your parents would do more than just ground you for sneaking out.
As you all sat around the dinner table, eyes glued to the television, as the news went on about some explosion, it only worried your friends more, as all they could do was hug their phones and wait for some type of signal from Peter.
"I’m going to press it." MJ sighed, glancing at the cube. You leaned up against the dining room chair, glancing at the woman in worry.
"Maybe he just needs more time." You offered. Not wanting to think of the worst about Peter’s plan, you hoped that whenever Peter was that he was still alive.
"I know he told me to wait, but I'm going to do it." MJ settled.
"I just wish we could see him." Ned sighed, gesturing, a spark catching everyone's attention in the room as the mood quickly shifted.
"I just wish we could see Peter." Ned tried once more to copy the gestures that he would see Steven Strange do, balling his fist and circling his other hand that wore the ring. In front of you, in thin air, appeared a slicing orange circle, tracing out the environment of an alleyway.
Inside of the circle stood a dark figure, hard to make out. All you could see was the familiar spandex suit as everyone called out to him. He was practically waving to get his attention.
It seemed like the moment he had noticed something felt off. Your eyes squinted as the masked figure stepped closer, your body instantly backing away, using the kitchen chair as a shield between you and the portal.
The room came to a halt, as the man slightly ducked his head to step through the portal, giving your friends enough clues to piece together that the person that stood in front of them wasn't the Peter that they had known.
Ned’s grandma yelled in shock as the man vocally greeted everyone. If his tall height wasn't enough to tell you that he wasn't Peter, his deep voice surely was.
Ned and MJ’s smiles dropped and instantly became guarded, "No, no, it's okay. I'm a nice guy." The man, claiming to be Ned’s grandma, panicked. The man sighed as he removed his mask. Your mouth fell open as you stared at him in shared confusion.
He definitely was not your Peter.
 "Who the hell are you?" You asked slowly, your eyes scanning the mysterious man. Once you two had met glances, it was clear that he was doing the same to you.
Unbeknownst to you, Peter’s heart felt like it was about to jump from his ribs from just the sight of you standing in front of him.
You had looked exactly like how he had remembered you, making the skin under his suit sweat as the eyes he had dreamed to see again stared back at him. Your face was clear of any aging, younger, and more soft looking.
Peter couldn't help but remember the lazy days that you two had spent together, with you snuggled close to his chest.
He spent the nights admiring the way your brows arched whenever he said something silly; how your lips formed questions that had you two laughing for hours, turning into inside jokes.
It was weird to see you with your scrunched face. Your eyes glared at him as if he were an alien standing in front of you.
Your question jolted him out of his trance. "I’m Peter Parker." he spoke slowly and carefully, wanting to be clear that he was also as confused as everyone else in the room.
"That’s not possible," MJ replied sternly.
"I’m Spiderman, in my world, but then yesterday I was," Peter stumbled over his thoughts. Not knowing how to explain the events that had gotten him to this moment, For him, it was all just so confusing, it all felt like some sort of dream. "I was just here."
His gaze switched from MJ to you, his eyes glistening as he turned to look around the room in amazement. "String theory, multi-dimensional reality, and matter displacement," he muttered the words broad to you as he counted everything on his fingers. "All real?"
It would have been easy for you to mistake him for Peter if he hadn't had such a dramatically different appearance. He just had the same nerdy demeanor that you found strikingly similar to your best friend.
“This had to be because of the spell.” Ned Muttered to you and MJ, motioning to the ring around his finger.
“The spell? Like magic spell?” Peter questioned from his spot in the room.
"No, there's no spell." Ned quickly rejected it.
"No spell." MJ agreed.
"I don’t even know," you added, awkwardly glancing at the obvious portal that was still floating in mid-air.
"Magic's real here too?" The excitement was clear in his tone, which only confused you more.
The simple question made your friend bicker back and forth on whether to tell the complete stranger anything. "Prove it." MJ insisted, her gaze fixed on Peter.
"Prove what?" Peter asked.
"That you’re Peter Parker." MJ requested.
"You all stared as he patted his suit, almost as if to make it obvious to MJ that he didn't have any pockets. "I don't carry an ID with me, you know. It kinda defeats that whole anonymous superhero thing." In response to his sarcastic reply, MJ was quick to respond as well, picking up a bread roll from the table and chucking it at his chest.
The room fell into an awkward silence as it simply bounced from his chest and onto the floor, "Why’d you do that?"
"You don’t have the Peter tingle?" You quickly caught on, remembering the enhanced abilities Peter had as a result of his powers.
"I have the tingle thing, just not for bread." It wasn't enough to convince MJ as she loaded herself with another bread roll.
"Can you not throw the bread again?" Peter cringed, "You’re a deeply mistrusting person and I respect it." He reached his arm up, jumping to touch the ceiling, but he never returned as he dangled from the ground.
"Crawl around." MJ pointed out, shrugging off the fact that he was hanging from the ceiling with just his fingertips.
"Crawl around?" He repeated it in bewilderment, as he stared at MJ.
"Peter crawls," you inputted, recalling the number of times you had seen Peter indeed crawling against walls.
"This is plenty." Peter shook his head, shutting it down. MJ quickly rejected the two, having a back and forth before her arm pulled back and chucked another loaf of bread at his chest, the bread bouncing off of his chest as Peter sighed, staring at MJ in annoyance.
"Ned," Ned’s grandma called out. Her request being in Tagalog, the room fell into silence in respect of letting her speak.
"My Lola's asking if you could just get the cobweb there." Ned translated, gesturing to the corner of the room. Peter kindly agreed to her request, crawling across the ceiling and swiping at the corner.
"Thank you." the older woman spoke meaningfully once he landed with his feet back on the ground. He staggered a few inches away when he realized how close he had landed to you.
"We good?" He asked, mostly directed toward MJ.
"For now." MJ agreed.
"Can I take a wild guess and assume that your name is Y/N Stacy in this reality too?" Peter asked you, noting that you were drastically shorter than how tall he had remembered you to be, standing just above his chin. His face was flushed a pale pink as he looked down just to speak to you.
"Well, no, different last name, just L/N. How different am I from myself in your universe?" With the new information, taller Peter gave you a shy smile, staring at you with some sort of admiration. It was enough to make you nervous from where you stood.
"You’re taller and…a lot older." Taller Peter seemed to mumble without realizing it, your face showing slight offense that you weren’t as tall as the other you.
"Oh. Well, I’m turning twenty soon in June, if that helps."
"Great, it's just some random guy." A portal formed behind you. Appearing from the shadows was an older man as he stepped through the portal.
"Hello, uh, I hope it's okay. I just came through this—oh, it just closed."
"You’re Peter?" MJ pointed at the man.
"Yeah, Peter Parker." He agreed, introducing himself. As his eyes scanned over everything in the room, they stopped at the other Peter that stood across from him. Taller Peter slowly backed away from you and more into the center of the room.
"Wait, he's not your friend." An intense silence fell between the two before all hell broke loose, the men shooting webs at each other from across the room, both able to successfully dodge each other’s attacks.
Taller Peter shot another web that covered older Peter’s web-slinger, practically disarming him.
It didn’t take long to realize where your Peter’s whereabouts had resided. The other Peter's had given into the idea that he, your Peter, was someplace that he normally was to clear his head and get away from it all. Luckily, MJ knew of his secret spot, leading everyone straight to him, your friends, and you the moment Peter was in view, engulfing him in a hug.
It was impossible to not overcome your emotions at just the sight of your friend, all beat up and bruised, squatting down the group and wrapping your arms around everyone at the moment, letting Peter find comfort as you all wept together.
Once you had heard about the casualties that had happened at Happy’s apartment, your heart broke instantly at the sight of May’s death amongst the list of innocent names that were unfortunately in the complex during the attack.
"I’m so sorry, Pete." You muttered, unable to fight back the tears as your chin rested above his head, taking a moment to mourn May’s death.
"Peter, there are some people here." MJ sniffed, pulling away from the hug as you stood up beside her, wiping away your fallen tears. Peter stumbles to his feet as he rushes in front of the group, shielding you from the two men who had fallen to ground level with caution.
"Sorry about May." Older Peter spoke.
"I've got some understanding of what it is you're—"
"No. Please don't tell me that you know what I'm going through." Your Peter interrupted, not wanting pity in his moment of mourning.
"She’s gone and it's all my fault. She died for nothing. So I'm going to do what I should have done in the first place." Peter concluded by reaching for the cube in your hands.
"Peter." Older Peter pleaded.
"You don't belong here, neither of you, so I'm sending you home. Those other guys are from your world, right? So you deal with it. I’m done. You have to go home now." You couldn't blame your friend for coming off harsh, the feeling of having lost everything after showing so much kindness towards them, but you also couldn't let him push the button, pulling the cube away from your grasp with a look of complete defeat staring back at you.
"My uncle Ben was killed. It was my fault." Older Peter spoke.
"I lost—I lost Y/N. They were my…they was my MJ." Taller Peter revealed that he was not able to look you in the eye as he struggled to hold back his tears. "I couldn't save them. I’m never going to be able to forgive myself for that, but I carried on, tried to keep going, tried to keep being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man 'cause I know that’s what they would have wanted."
You felt odd, watching the man mourn your existence as you stood only a few feet away from him.
You just couldn't imagine his pain the moment that you two met eyes, the tears streaming down his cheek as he looked at you like his entire world was standing in front of him.
Something inside of you caved in to give taller Peter the closure that he visually needed from you.
"I stopped pulling my punches."
It was a bit hard for you to wrap your head around the fact that you—at least you from another universe—were that universe's MJ. It seemed like taller Peter seemed to have the same problem with your existence as you.
You two have been sneaking glances at each other since the exchange on the rooftop.
It was like he had been afraid to even stand too close to you, managing to keep a good amount of distance between you and him as the others spread about the science lab, actually aiding the newfound plan to cure villains so they could get back home and still be alive in their timelines.
The silly little issue was that you weren't much of a scientist.
If anything, you'd come closest to being a high school jock, usually having Peter and Ned tutor you for most of your classes to even get a passing grade.
It was pretty clear, at least to you, that you felt out of place as everyone else seemed to know exactly what they were supposed to do.
The best that you could really do was hope to stay out of everyone's way and look pretty.
"Dude, he’s looking at you again. Why don't you talk to him?" Ned whispered as he glanced at the taller Peter, who stood across the room from you.
Attempting to balance a pen on the top of your lip beside him, flinching to catch the pen as it fell from your lips and bounced off your chest.
Giving Ned a puzzled look before hovering the pen over your lips once more, "Maybe because I have no idea what to say to him and even if I did, it would seem like a bad idea, so I'm just better off staying out of his way."
Ned’s frantic typing came to a halt, spinning his desk chair to fully face you. "I think it would be a good idea, or at least a good deed for the both of you, to give him some type of closure and allow him to finally vent all of his pent-up emotions."
You sighed, as your head tilted down to steal a glance at the taller Peter. "I fucking hate it when you're right." were your departing words as you stood from your chair and awkwardly made your way over to his workstation.
As you passed by Older Peter, his head tilted slightly upward to glance at you. As you walked past, his eyes flickered from you to taller Peter, piecing two together, and he gave you a comforting smile, almost as a gesture of support.
"So," You greeted him as you sat across the table from taller Peter, your gaze scanning the jumble of items on his workstation, not bothering to try to understand what he was doing with any of it.
"There has to be at least one universe where Peter Parker isn’t some super-smart, white guy, right?" Your joke seemed to relieve just a bit of tension between you two, and taller Peter smiled at the compliment.
Maybe it was the chiseled jawline covered in a slight stubble or the fact that he was just really lengthy in paying extra attention to him in his tight suit, which all it did was show off the curve of his muscles, but you just couldn't help yourself but stare at him.
When he cleared his throat and chuckled nervously, it was only when you realized how oddly you were just openly gawking at him.
"If it makes you feel better, I'm not really much of a pro when it comes to all of this. Not the best, but also not the worst, you know?" You snort at his clear humbleness of talent.
You could tell he was nervous around you from his self-conscious response being drastically different from his usual sarcastic and open personality from earlier.
He wasn’t stupid. Peter could tell that you could easily see right through him, even in another universe had you been so similar to the Y/N that he once knew.
"Most of the time I just have no absolute idea what's going on," you confessed to the clear intelligence gap you felt in your friend group.
"I mean, sometimes I feel like they just keep me around as some type of bully repellent." You tried to cover your true feelings with a poorly told joke.
Yes, Peter was a literal superhuman with enhanced senses, but Ned and MJ were also very intelligent teenagers and the most talented kids that you’d thought would allow you to hang out with them.
Your friends always had things to bring to the table and came up with something that always helped Peter in the long run.
For you, it always felt like you were just some sort of side character that was just thrown into everything.
They always called that person for more brute force. It was just a kid they went to when they needed connections around school or the last resort when they needed someone for hard labor.
"Well, I don't know if this helps, but, just speaking from personal experience, you’ve definitely saved my ass a ton of times. I’ve realized that I wouldn't even be alive without you by my side, constantly reminding me all the time how right you always are." You were both laughing now, mostly at the fact that you were also a huge pain in the ass in a different universe as well. taller Peter laughed more at recalling his memories with you.
"Well, the other me sounds cool." You chide, "How did we—or I guess, you meet the other me?" taller Peter visibly struggled to look up at you. You had finally asked the question that he dreaded the most.
After exchanging a smile, Peter turned his head to glance over to MJ and Peter, sharing a moment together, his gaze softening at the adorable sight of the couple.
"In high school, you just never took any shit from anyone. It was like you were always there for everyone, even the types of people that didn't deserve it. I used to despise it when you would just completely drop everything just to come to clean up my messes." You shifted to the other side of the lab station, now standing next to him as you placed a hand on his arm in comfort Peter smiled as he accepted your kind gesture, even though your touch felt like sparks against his skin.
In his head, he didn't care how selfish he was for seeking you out. He knew it was wrong since you weren't really you, but he didn't care at the moment.
He didn't care about being right; he just wanted to be as close to you as possible, to soak up as much time as he could steal from you as possible.
"It was like you knew more about me than I did. You had put my safety before your own. Even though I was supposed to be the superhero, you were just stubborn like that." Recalling the moment your father passed away because of his dangerous actions.
He spent his final words making Peter promise to keep you out of it all; to stay away from you at all costs.
"I felt like shit knowing that you would give up so much just for me. Your parents knew that and they hated me for it." While the smile from his lips faded, you reached your hand out with a soothing touch of comfort.
As he reached out for your hand, taller Peter didn’t bother to hide the tremble in his fingers as they intertwined with yours. "I’m sorry, I know this is weird, but—"
His request was just about to slip from his lips, as if you could read his mind.
The kiss would have been something out of a fairytale if it weren't for the sudden halt that settled in the room. The first people your eyes fluttered towards were MJ and Peter, gawking at you two.
Clearing your throat and glancing around the room at the others.
“Sorry is it—was that weird? Cause he’s like you, but not you?
My rankings of Wrestlemania 40 matches (from somebody who knows very little about wrestling)
DAY 1
Rhea Ripley vs Becky Lynch - 4.5/5 stars
I'm going to be honest, I really didn't know what this match would hold because I wasn't a big fan of woman's wrestling, but I would like to publicly say that I was wrong. It was too standard to go any higher than I rated it, but for what it was, it was brilliant.
Six-Pack Tag Team Ladder Match - 4/5 stars
I love a good match gimmick, and ladder matches are pretty much always great. Now, I can acknowledge that, from an objective standpoint, the match could've been handled significantly better in a few regards. First, it felt like not all 12 participants really played a role in the match, and so I feel like less people were necessary in the match. Second, the Smackdown titles were grabbed really quickly. I get that A-Town Down Under are supposed to be douche heels, but still, the match could've benefited from a few more minutes without a title being claimed. Third, it felt like New Catch Republic were doing work and got nothing, which was sad. So, why is it so high? One reason: I love The Awesome Truth. R-Truth got so many fun spots in the match, and I was cheering him on all the way. Also, although I knocked on the match, it was a fun match regardless and still was full of cool spots.
Rey Mysterio and Andrade vs Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio - 2.5/5 stars
Look, I like the Mysterios. But we already watched this match last Wrestlemania, and making it a tag match didn't nearly change enough to justify seeing it again. Yes, it was enjoyable. Yes, I didn't hate it. Yes, the interference from the Eagles players was enjoyable. But we really didn't need this match.
Jey Uso vs Jimmy Uso - 3/5 stars
When we get a Bloodline story match, a certain expectation of quality is held by the crowd. This match was short, mostly just kicks, and didn't really hit that Bloodline mark. Frankly, I was disappointed. But, the Usos always deliver a fun performance, and I was entertained for the (albeit short) duration of the match. Honestly, when I read that the two of them were facing off, I envisioned a spot in my head where they both superkick each other at the same time (I have literally no clue if it's been done before, but I think that would be dope). Also, Lil Wayne didn't really add much to Jey's intro, and, despite a certain commentator's remarks, he is not "the greatest rapper of all time".
Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and Naomi vs Damage CTRL - 3.5/5 stars
When I say that I know little about wrestling, this is a match where that fact is wholeheartedly applicable. What I will say is that this match, along with pretty much every other match so far (minus the first one) suffer from their short length. Because of the longer main event, the matches leading up to it don't really have time to fully develop. Also, I feel like this match would be better if I knew Jade considering that the match was essentially a squash match for her. It was a fun viewing experience, if not a little confusing at times.
Sami Zayn vs Gunther - 4.75/5 stars
This was a classic underdog match. One commentator (I forget which) compared the match to Rocky IV, and I think that was a big inspiration for the match. Sami Zayn's comeback was brilliant and awe-inspiring. The match was great, but it lacked that big surprise to promote it to five stars.
The Rock and Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins - 5/5 stars
If nothing else, this Wrestlemania had some of the best main events in history. The Rock's commands to the ref ("You count, you're fired.") really helped bring the long tag team match together, making it more like a no disqualification match than a standard tag team match. Cody and Seth both played great heroes, and Roman and Rock both played great villains. Unfortunately, the outcome was predictable in order to get Sunday's main event to be the match stipulation it was meant to be. But, it's a great match, and it really sets an excellent stage for the next main event.
DAY 2
Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins (plus Damian Priest vs Drew McIntyre) - 4/5 stars
Seth Rollins had an admirable showing after his beating the previous night, and although he lost, it was much closer than a lot of us (and Drew McIntyre) expected. Damian Priest's cash in was a favorite moment, especially considering McIntyre and CM Punk's feud and fight crescendoing into a cash in. Ultimately, you have to love a cash in.
The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley vs The Final Testament - 3.5/5 stars
The match was very standard in structure for a match, with heel domination, a flip, and the heroes defeating the villains in the end. It was fine, but it really felt like a match that solely existed for Bubba Ray Dudley to referee and ultimately assist in defeating The Final Testament. I like the Dudleys, but I wish that a bigger focus would be placed on the actual talent. Also, I'm not really sure why Snoop Dogg was involved with the commentary other than the advertisement. It just felt random. And all the marijuana jokes really took away from the match and weren't funny. Sorry, Snoop.
LA Knight vs AJ Styles - 4.25/5 stars
LA Knight's rise to popularity is meteoric, and his first Wrestlemania match didn't disappoint. I do wish that the match was fleshed out more, but LA Knight beat AJ Styles. Who can argue with results? Both wrestlers had a good showing, and the crowd was invested throughout. It's not going to be a classic, but it was very enjoyable for what it was. Also, why was LA Knight a sellout to Slim Jim at the beginning? It just seemed odd for the egotistical narcissistic personality of LA Knight to bow down to the corporate masters of beef jerky.
Logan Paul vs Kevin Owens vs Randy Orton - 4/5 stars
I'm about to say something that may be seen as controversial. I like Logan Paul. I think that the man plays a great heel, and that he's been playing a great heel since he made his YouTube channel all those years ago. Frankly, though, I'm not really a Kevin Owens fan. He's just not really original in any aspect. Pretty much all of his moves are just moves from other wrestlers. And, although I like Randy Orton, he's getting older, and I'm sorry, but I don't think he should really have a US Championship run at this point in his career. Speed's role in the match was entertaining, and Logan Paul really sold his character well, but I just wasn't fully invested in the participants, so it fell on deaf ears.
Bayley vs Iyo Sky - 3/5 stars
This match probably deserved more stars than what I've given it. But, by this point in the show, I was just falling asleep. I don't know if it was the match's fault or my own poor sleep schedule coming back to haunt me, but it just failed to engage me fully. I'm giving it 3 stars because the crowd seemed engaged and what little wrestling I could stomach was good.
Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns - 10/5 stars
I'm not joking with that review. This is genuinely, in my uninformed opinion, the greatest match ever wrestled. The pacing, the story, the interference from other wrestlers, and everything else was perfect or nearly perfect. If you didn't watch Wrestlemania and somehow stumbled upon my 0 follower Tumblr account, go watch this match now. Don't search anything else. Don't even finish this review. You'll lose it, I promise. Now, for those of us that have seen it, my only real note was that I wished Dean Ambrose would've joined Seth Rollins in his Shield entrance, but he's a AEW guy, so I get why that wouldn't happen. Other than that, though, the match is perfect.
OVERALL - 4.75/5 stars
This Wrestlemania felt like it suffered from success with its main events in the sense that, because they were so long with so much star power, every other match was overshadowed heavily and many matches felt far too short. But, for being the first Wrestlemania of the "Paul Levesque era" (Stephanie McMahon said that), it was exceptional, and it really started the show and sent the viewer home every night with a bang. It gets so many kudos for those main events, even if other matches weren't quite up to snuff. Overall, I think I speak for WWE fans everywhere when I say that I'm excited for more Triple H writing.
Dom Mysterio x Reader
Smut
Friends to Lovers
Flash backs coming up!
I don’t own WWE characters, it’s all for fun
Not edited (once I upload everything from my phone I’ll do a read through 🙌🏻)
Chapter Four | Where it all started…
I didn’t question how Dom got from the airport to the house we grew up in when I ordered my own Uber. In the car I texted Angie, his mom, letting her know he knew. I also told her about Raw and the disaster it was.
Dom knew and was making everyone pay for it.
Me: I’m gonna stop by for some clothes but then I’ll grab a hotel room.
Angie: No, you aren’t. You’re coming home for the holidays. Dom can be pissed, we did what we had to. He’s only upset because he’s in love with you.
Me: It’s just like Rey said, you don’t find forever at Seventeen.
Angie: And what if you did?
I didn’t respond to her last text when I focused on the sun peeking out. Pulling into the driveway I contemplated how I felt for Dom. He was easily the best person I knew but I couldn’t get past not being good enough for him. He deserved so much better than me.
He didn’t even know why his family took me in. Only his parents knew and they promised to keep it secret.
Ringing the bell, Angie pulled me into her arms and squeezed me like she missed me. Hugging her back I let myself feel loved the way they tried for years.
“Go get some sleep. It’s early. Your room is untouched.”
Taking her advice I crawled into my old bed in nothing more than panties begging Dom would pity me enough to simply ignore me if he picked up round two in my room.
Once I woke up I dragged myself to my feet, padding my way to the shared bathroom from our youth. Still yawning and stretching I didn’t realize the shower was on until I heard Dom moan.
It was an unmistakable sound that had lived rent free in my head long after our first time. It was the perfect amount of breathy and demanding that instantly had me wet. “Fuck, I’m so hard.”
I stopped in my tracks when I realized he wasn’t alone. His iPhone was propped up on the shower shelf and the way he was breathing I could tell his hand was touching himself. My breath hitched in my throat when I slowly backed out of the bathroom.
Standing in the doorway I listened to Dom keep moaning while his hand choked himself. “Show me how wet you are,” he barely said above a whisper and I felt my knees weakened. I wanted nothing more than to open the shower door and slip inside with him but he needed to hate me to move on. We couldn’t keep falling into bed and get over each other too.
Tempted I touched my own panties, savagely teased by the outline of his toned muscles.
I rummaged through my clothes for a hoodie and some sweats. I needed space, I needed my world to stop revolving around him for a few seconds. So I did what anyone else would do, actually go home. My real home.
I lived on the same street as Dominik, only my father was ruthless and my mother was submissive unlike his parents. Maybe enough time passed where we could make up, start over, forgive each other.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
At first it was going well until I voiced my endless debt for Dom’s family taking me in. That led to another fight and that fight ended the same way with my father’s fist colliding with my face.
It wasn’t exactly like the first time.
Rey knew we were friends and saw my bruises. He asked Dominik to have me over for dinner and when they could get me alone they asked me for the truth. No questions later I was living with him and sharing a bathroom with Dom.
Nursing my bloody nose and already swelling eye I waited until it was late enough to sneak in without being seen by anyone. Especially Dominik.
Collecting my things in my duffle bag, whatever I left behind thinking this was home and left what used to be my room barren I tiptoed into the bathroom to clean out my medicine cabinet. Swallowing some Advil with my handful of faucet water I choked them back.
The door creaked open and Dom leaned against the door frame in the dark. There was no way he could see me, not in the pitch black.
Keeping my head down I ignored him, filling my makeup bag with anything I didn’t want to leave behind.
“It doesn’t feel good hurting you.”
“It’s fine, Dom. I deserve it.”
Sighing, he stepped closer, running his hands through his hair. “I have been in love with you since I met you. When you asked me to take your virginity, all I wanted was for you to give me a chance.”
“Your dad said it best: no one finds forever at that age. I was living with your family, I owe them everything for taking me in. I had no one else, Dom. You have no idea what it was like at home. I couldn’t betray them by loving their son. I couldn’t be the person you fell for just to disappoint everyone when I didn’t live up to the demand.”
Coming even closer, I could tell he was trying not to reach out and touch me. “My family loves you. You are family.”
“Exactly. I couldn’t lose them,” I clapped back when I turned around without thinking.
Dom’s hands cupped my face, holding me in his hands and demanding to know what happened. “Who did this? What the fuck happened?”
He wasn’t going to let it go or be okay with a lie. “I thought I could finally go home. Guess daddy dearest wasn’t ready to forgive me.”
Dominik stormed out of the bathroom, chasing after him. I grabbed my hoodie and ran after him begging him to stop. His fists were clenched and when he slammed on his parent’s door I wanted to disappear. “You fucking knew and didn’t tell me? That’s why you took her in? Because her dad was beating her?” Rey was in his boxer briefs half asleep with the door cracked enough to hear his son’s rant. “Why didn’t you fucking do something? You’re a fucking fighter.”
“Dom. Dominik. Go cool off, we’ll talk tomorrow.”
Pushing the door open on his dad it felt like the live event all over again. “Just like her getting pregnant? You kept vital information from me.”
“Son. Don’t do this. She’s been through enough.”
“And I was kept in the dark. I told you not to fuck with my family. She’s my family, not anyone else, her. Why is he still breathing? Why isn’t he in jail?”
Rey dropped his head trying to stay silent. “She asked me not to. That’s why. She had been abused her whole life and didn’t want to be the girl who survived, she wanted to live.”
“How the fuck could we live on the same street as him. You just took her in, no questions asked and expected me not to love her? You knew how much I fell for her. You fucking walked in on losing our virginities. How the fuck could you not tell me she got pregnant.” Pushing his dad with so much force I gasped before stepping closer.
Interrupting, I touched Dom’s chest pleading. “Dom please. Please, come to bed. I’ll explain. Just leave your parents out of it.”
His head jerked in my direction, seething with anger. “Come to bed? And what, pretend it’s okay for one night? Every time I fuck your it ruins me.” Squinting down at me he forced my face in his dad’s direction. “She tried to go home because she thought she had to choose between family and me. So she never did until I ruined shit. You guys let her go home to get beat. You could have stopped him a long time ago.”
“Dominik, what did you want us to do?”
“What I’m gonna do.” Dominik already had skinny jeans and a graphic tee on when he jogged down the stairs and made his way to my childhood home.
Running after him in a long hoodie and panties I pulled on him so hard he had no choice but to stop. “Don’t do this. Getting arrested isn’t worth it. Losing your career isn’t worth it. I don’t regret him hitting me. It brought me here. I’m begging you, Dom. Just leave this alone and I’ll do anything.”
Towering over me his lips moved dangerously close to mine. “You know what I want. Are you agreeing?”
Shaking my head yes I let the tears fall. “Just come to bed.” Walking by his parents I apologized, keeping my face down and repenting for the trouble.
“Mija, don’t be sorry. Your family.” Rey squeezed my arm.
Pushing Dom into my room, closing the door and locking it I pulled the hoodie off. Dom’s body barely moved, hovering next to mine. “We don’t have to do this right now. You got me back inside.”
“There’s rules…” I slipped out of my panties before standing up straight against the door completely naked.
Looking down at my naked body his tongue swiped his lips. His hands grasped my hips, “okay. Rules. Tell me the rules.”
Dragging his hands up my body to my breasts I gasped. “Dom.”
“Baby the rules. Need the rules,” his chest was pounding and his voice was breathy.
His fingers pinched my nipples playfully, “You have to call and text everyday.” I bit down a moan trying to stay strong, “No other girls. And we have to take it slow.”
“I want to come inside you…” his voice trailed off when I pulled the shirt over his head and he kissed my mouth so gently it felt unreal.
Slipping his tongue inside my mouth I undid his jeans and prayed for him to take them off quickly before I changed my mind. I was nervous when our hands laced together, both naked in the middle of my room, butterflies filling my stomach the same way when he first fucked me.
“Dom, wait, wait.” my body was being pulled into his hips trying to clash while his mouth kissed my neck. I was so wet that I wasn’t even sure it would feel good when I made my last confession. “No one’s been inside me since you the guys and dates, it was just so you could hate me.”
“This is my pussy? Say it, Mami.”
Shaking my head yes Dominik lifted me up into his arms, walking over to the bed and ending up on top of me. “No one but you.”
“Fuck baby. I’m so fucking hard right now.” The second his palms held my thighs up I felt him slip inside me. Every inch rubbed up against every nerve, forcing my hips to grind against him and my whimpers to be uncontrollable.
“Dom,” I whimpered when he went too deep, hitting parts of me that screamed.
Lowering down over me, pinning my legs at his hips, and covering my neck in lazy kisses. “Relax, mi amor, I know how to make you feel good.”
Dominik wasn’t lying. Every slip up we had ended in earth shattering orgasms and the lingering desire for more. When he touches me everything writers for him even more.
“I’m scared of messing it up,” I whispered into his chest as his thrusts picked up speed.
His hands smoothed down my face and body weight sat on his elbows. “You can’t mess it up when we haven’t even tried.” Moaning into my mouth our tongues swiped at each other. “Let me take care of you. Let me love you.”
“Dominik, Dom. I’m close,” I whimpered into his mouth when his out of breath chest heaved against mine.
“Don’t come yet baby. Me vuelves loca, mi amore.” The way he spoke Spanish made my pussy only get tighter as he thrusted his way inside me over and over. Every inch of him was covered in my arousal by the time I felt my body tensed. “I’m gonna come, Mami.”
He didn’t have to tell me, I could feel the way he pulsed and jerked inside me. Our bodies drove each other crazy and the way we came shook through us.
Dom was off for two weeks for the holidays which was unheard of. Ever since he skyrocketed to the main roster of WWE Dom was never home.
Waking up cuddled up into Dom’s arm was surreal. It felt like a dream but it had been true. Turning into me his lips found mine before he even opened his eyes. “Do you regret it yet?”
His body was pressed again mine, every inch of him stiffening up. “Do you hear that?” Pausing we both listened when it became clear as day. It was his mom and dad having sex. We broke out into a fit of laughter trying to unheard  our own payback.
“Let’s show them how it’s done, baby.” Helping me into his lap I straddled him as he sat up against the headboard. “Come here,” he whispered before our tongues wrestled in between our mouths.
Pushing my hips up I felt Dom’s knuckles graze my puffy pussy as he guided himself inside me. I held my breath with every inch I sat down on until I exhaled a quiet moan. “That’s it baby girl. Goddamn, that feels good.”
Slowly rocking my hips and crushing my clit against his body I started to shake all over. My legs vibrated and my heart was racing as Dominik’s hands cupped my ass, picking up my pace.
“I want as much of you as I can before I have to leave for Raw.”
His confession felt like a brick dropping through my stomach. He was leaving and I wouldn’t be with him. Even if we got pregnant in some dangerous game of fixing the problems we had I would be pregnant and alone all over again.
His mouth found my neck, my chest, and sucked my hard nipples into his mouth. His tongue bullied my nippled in his mouth and I gasped trying not to come right then and there.
“Do you know how many times I touched myself to this? How many times have I came all over toys just imagining riding you?” I couldn’t believe it was happening. “Dom. I’m close.”
His hips started to push back and his hands only grabbed onto my hips tighter. “Fuck, mi amore. I’m gonna come inside you.”
Leaning into him, my nipples scrapping his chest and my mouth colliding with his neck I whispered, “Come inside my pussy papi. I want it so bad.”
His face turned into mine as my hips bucked into his lap and all of his inside of me felt hard enough to get hurt on. “Oh my god. It’s so hard,” I purred into him.
“Mi amore, me estoy corriendo,” his breathy voice only made me wetter as his grip held me in place from rolling my hips anymore. Trying to grind myself over our matching orgasms his grip got tighter. “Don’t move baby, don’t move.” He groaned out against my shoulder, wrapping his arms around my waist and moaning out loud.
“Dom. Dominik.” Trying to catch my breath I shook on top of Dom when he relaxed back into the headboard.
Pushing me down next to him he got between my wet legs, both of our orgasms coating my pussy. “I wanna taste you, hermosa. I wanna know what you taste like after I make you come.”
Dom’s tongue licked my pussy and I writhed against the bed. I gasped and moaned without realizing I might have been too loud. “Dom, oh my god, Dom I can’t.”
The way Dominik licked every sensitive part of me without trying had my body shaking. I felt like I couldn’t breath and my legs were going to fall off. “Can’t what baby? Come in my mouth for me?”
My back arched and my head tossing back as his tongue slipped inside me. My entire body was shaking when my knees automatically closed around his head as it rolled up me.
Landing next to me he pulled me into him as I barely recovered. “I love the way you taste. I love everything about you. I actually have a confession too…” I clamped my eyes closed only for a second hoping it wasn’t Rhea related. “I knew you wouldn’t let it happen again so I set up cameras in our condo that night. I have the video of us fucking. That’s what gets me through being without you, on the road, everything.”
“Dom!” I playfully hit his shoulder. “I want to see…”
“I had someone edit for me so it’s not so bad when the cameras switch between each other. Reaching for the night stand he realized his phone was still in his room when he poured out of bed. Pushing his pants on he went through the shared bathroom before coming back.
Handing me his phone I started getting nervous. “I’m gonna shower, hermosa. You watch.” Rolling onto my stomach and pushing into my elbows I placed the phone against a pillow and pressed play.
This imagine was literally me writing this while listening to this song and thinking, "every time I turn around you disappear" hmm, teleportation powers, she shall have!
Peter sat on a bench in a local park, the same park in which he helped Tony fight an alien from space. He remembers that moment with sadness. That was the start of his space journey, one which led to him blipping along with half the universe.
He remembers entering that afterlife place, seeing all those people freaking out at what had just occured. Until Strange had called up all the heroes and told them of the plan. The plan that led to the end of the war, and the end of Tony's life.
After that, Peter had gone back to being Spider-Man, though it ended in him making a fake friend and the betrayal of said friend.
Then all that led to Peter's identity being revealed to the entire world. Most people hated Peter for 'killing Mysterio', but only the people who truly believed in Spider-Man had the common sense to think, 'He wouldn't do such a thing. He's Spider-Man!'
And after visiting Strange about it, all went to shit. Spider-Men and their villains from different universes started leaking into Peter's universe.
So in order to set things right, Peter told Strange to make everyone forget he existed. Which worked a treat after some lovey dovey stuff.
So now, nobody knew who Peter was. He had tried and failed to tell his friends what happened, he didn't want to ruin their lives all over again.
Anyways. Present day.
As Peter sat, his eyes drifting between all the people around him. Some kids were playing with their dog, their mother keeping a watchful eye on them, a man was reading the New York Times, a woman doing a photoshoot with a guy behind the camera, the clicks of each shot rang through Peter's ears.
Suddenly, he felt another person sit down beside him, on the other end of the bench. "So this is what you're going to do all day" The girl, around Peter's age, spoke, also looking around the place.
Peter glanced at her. "Sorry, uh. Are you talking to me?" He asked, not seeing a phone to her ear.
She smiled, meeting his gaze. "I sure am" She replied.
"What do you mean by saying this is what I've been doing all day?" He asked. "I don't even know who you are"
"Apologies, Mr. Parker. I'm bad at communicating with fellow people. I'm Y/n L/n" She answered.
"How- How do you know me. Strange casted a spell, you're not meant to know me" Peter rushed, beginning to freak out.
"Did I forget to mention I'm not exactly human?" She asked, mentally kicking herself. "I'm sort of a superhero...? I don't know what else to call it. I can teleport and freeze time meaning my body can rip itself apart only to be put back together every time I teleport" She teleported all the way to the edge of the park, where Peter could spot her waving, before teleporting back to where she originally sat.
"Does it hurt?" Peter asked.
"No...Not really" She replied. "I got these....abilities when I touched a blue box. Which was I don't know how many years ago" She replied, crossing one leg over the other. "I was pretty stupid back then"
"We could've used you in the fight against Thanos, your skills would've come in handy" Peter said. "Why didn't you help?"
"Because I didn't even know there was a fight. You were on another planet. Plus, I don't want to be a superhero like you or have responsibilities like Steve Rogers" She said. "I just want my powers to be something I can use if I ever need to get away from danger or get others out of danger"
Peter paused for a moment. "How come Mr.Stark or Nick Fury didn't find you?" He asked.
"Have a good think about that one, Peter. Teleportation is very handy if nobody else can move as fast as you" She chuckled. "Nick Fury did find me once, he tried to make me join the Avengers and I wanted no part in that, even if they offered me all that money. I don't like feeling like people own me. I don't like being used as a human shield" She said.
"Okay, I see where you're coming from but I don't do it for the paycheck, heck, I don't get payed at all now. Being Spider-Man is great, I get to do my part ensuring the safety of everyone in New York and the World. And when I'm me, I get to hang out with my friends and go through normal life things like having a girlfriend. Well, at least I had a girlfriend and a life. But it's just Spider-Man, he's all I can be now. Everyday I wake up, and it's Spider-Man who goes about his day. I feel like Peter Parker stopped existing the moment I put on that suit for the first time" Peter ranted.
Y/n nodded in understanding. "Well...I remember you. So Peter Parker does exist, I'm living evidence of that. And I believe in you, always have always will"
"How do you know me?" Peter asked, titling his head slightly.
She shrugged. "This is gonna sound weird but I've seen you before, first in my dreams, then at school. And the thing is, my memory is so incredibly enhanced thanks to the tesseract, that not even a spell from the former Sorcerer Supreme could tamper with my head. It's very interesting, most of the stuff I know now, I just know because of that blue stone. I know everything there is to know about the universe. I can go anywhere I want. So you could say the stone protected me. Well, some of it, the rest is destroyed"
Peter huffed. "Huh" He muttered.
She suddenly sat up, leaning towards him, a smile on her face. "So, do you wanna catch some bad guys?" She asked.
The Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 1) #66: The Madness Of Mysterio!
Read Date: February 27, 2023 Cover Date: November 1968 ● Writer: Stan Lee ● Penciler: John Romita ◦ Don Heck ● Inker: Mickey Demeo ● Colorist: {uncredited} ● Letterer: Artie Simek ● Editor: Stan Lee ●
Tumblr media
**HERE BE SPOILERS: Skip ahead to the fan art/podcast to avoid spoilers
Reactions As I Read: ● Mysterio looks like an angry Leonard Nimoy ● The Bugle building is still a hot mess from the battle with Vulture ● Peter is selling his motorcycle for some needed money, getting less than half of what he paid for it. He probably would have done better to sell to a private citizen and not a motorcycle shop… ● heh, of all of New York, Mysterio happens to appear right next to Peter Parker ● Peter is starting to think maybe he won't go after Mysterio: "What'll Peter Parker get out of it? Let the police tackle him! I'm sick of being the fall guy!" …uh, isn't that how you lost Uncle Ben? ● he says he's not forgetting his oath, that he'll still help someone in danger, but he can't go after some nutty costumed freak every time. I mean… yeah, I suppose. But no one was in danger at the time when he let the criminal run past him with money. It was later that the criminal killed Uncle Ben. I kinda get it though. Everyone's always against him, he's gotten pretty hurt before, etc., so I can see why he'd be reluctant to always be the hero ● Gwen finds Peter and tells him that her dad explained everything, so she's forgiven him. Pete's smiling about that, at least ● they're kinda cute:
Tumblr media
● the art in this issue is really great! ● Mysterio on tv gives Aunt May a fright and they have to call a doctor for her; he asks Anna Watson to call the doctor while he, Peter, goes off as Spider-Man to confront Mysterio ● Spidey has trouble with the smoke screen, though ● 👏👏👏
Synopsis: Mysterio has managed to break out of prison and is using his special effects prowess to prepare another plot to get revenge against Spider-Man. Meanwhile, Spidey recovers his clothes and camera left in the debris following his fight with the Vulture. The next day he tries to sell the pictures to Jameson. Furious that Parker "abandoned" him when he was supposed to be taking pictures of Spider-Man's battle with the Vulture, he throws Parker out of the building telling Peter that he doesn't need him to take pictures. However, when he gets the pictures some other photographer took for him of the battle, they are very poorly taken.
Short on money, Peter is forced to sell his motorcycle in order to have money. He then is shocked when he sees Mysterio boldly walking the streets before he vanishes in a wisp of smoke. Shortly he is met by Gwen Stacy who has come to make up with him now that she knows the truth about the Kingpin's control over her father. They run into Harry who is worried about his father Norman who has disappeared. Nobody can figure that Osborn has been hiding out because his Green Goblin persona is returning, as well as his memories of Peter Parker's secret identity.
Going to visit his Aunt May, he bursts in when he hears her cry out. He then sees that she was upset over a Mysterio appearing on television. Mysterio issues a challenge to Spider-Man to meet him to a fight to the finish or he will start destroying the cities bridges. Peter leaves his Aunt and changes into Spider-Man. He then goes to the first place that he fought Mysterio and the two are locked in a battle. During this fight, Spider-Man is knocked out by a blast. When he revives it appears that he has been shrunk down in size and put on the set of a miniature amusement park with a giant Mysterio looming over him.
For your ‘I wish you’d write a fic where…’ game:
No original ideas but hoping I can bully you into dropping that Kraven fic that’s swirling in your head. Please feed the people. We’re starving.
Also! A Bodyguard AU — had plans to do one myself but I’d rather read yours, please and thanks x
this is a crime! criminal!!! why is everyone bullying me when I am so innocent of everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ok but I was telling @abcd-em that I couldn't even just start at the end of FFH, in order to do it Right™ I'd have first rewrite FFH so that it makes more sense for why Peter feels so betrayed by (some) of the people of NYC and to have!!!! a Peter and Mysterio show down in times square AND THEN to have an identity reveal and Kraven in the same city!!! synergy baby!!!!!!!
help me babes I am once again having ideas beyond my time and skill level!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALSO excuse me miss ma'am I thought it was decided that you were writing a bodyguard AU!!!!! the way that it has such a chokehold on me I need it so badly I deserve it actually!!!!!
I wish you'd write a fic
My thoughts on... Spider-Gwen 2015B (#9-13) "Weapon of Choice"
As i'm continuing reading through these comics i have to say that I keep getting blown away by how incredibly good all of this is. I love how in depth her character gets explored and how complex Gwen is. And Spider-Gwen 2015B (#9-13) "Weapon of Choice" is no different.
It's really interesting to see the aftermath of Gwen losing her powers. It made her question things in a very different way. For the first time in her life she seems to have a choice in whether or not she wants superpowers but even now she doesn't really get to make that choice because Frank Castle is hunting her and her family down, forcing her to keep using the power ups she's gotten from the Spider-Women crossover event. Her inner monologue has always been very interesting to read in these comics and i love how this time around she's really questioning herself as the Spider-Woman. Questioning why she became the Spider-Woman. Did she do it to help people or did she do it for herself? She realizes that she made Spider-Woman mean so much because she was scared that in reality it didn't. She saw the spider bite as a gift and a curse, something she had no say in. So it had to mean something right? And before Frank Castle opened the hunt on her she finally had a choice and it made her question Spider-Woman so much. It's really interesting because there is also a side of her that does want to continue being Spider-Woman. And she feels frustrated that now that she was ready to do some good after finally accepting that not everything that happened with peter was her fault. But now that got taken away from her. The whole situation also causes a lot of guilt to come over her. Guilt about all the times she had to lie in order to protect her identity. Guilt about what happened to Peter Parker. Guilt about feeling like the mask is who she really is. It's super interesting because despite claiming that she finally accepted it's not all her fault, losing her powers made her feel a lot of guilt about everything that happened. It's amazing how complex her character and thoughts are. And how they explore it. I must say her inner monologue is scaringly similar to mine at times. She's a character I relate to in a lot of ways.
Seeing Frank Castle slowly becoming The Punisher again in this arc was also really cool. He lost everything in the process of trying to catch Spider-Woman. So now he feels he has to catch her no matter what to make it mean something. And Gwen interestingly relates to that, because she too has lost a lot because of her being Spider-Gwen, and that's also part as to why she has to make it mean so much to her.
The Weapon of Choice arc ultimately ends with Captain Stacy giving himself up to the police in order to protect Gwen and attone for the manhunt he started on her. He gets arrested because in the eyes of the police he was helping Spider-Woman. It's his way of taking responsibilty for what he did and finally standing besides his daughter, a way for him to convince the world Spider-Woman is a good person. The issue ends with Gwen being completely lost in every sense of the word and being forced into a position to take upon a sketchy deal with the kingpin of crime: matt murdock. As he's the only lawyer that can get captain stacy out of prison. The volume also included a cool halloween special with Mysterio that happens after the Weapon of Choice arc. And it was pretty cool, it reminded me a lot of the mysterio sequence in Spider-Man: Far From Home and it really confronted Gwen some of her biggest fears. Betty was also a badass in this and had a rly fun moment. We also learn that she might be dating the falcon so that was interesting. Overall the Mary Janes are a really fun group of characters and i would love to see more of them! All by all i'm really loving this run so far. Everything is so incredibly well done and Gwen is a super complex character with a lot of thought put behind it. To me she's super relatable and some of the stuff really hits home. So yeah it's been an amazing experience reading this run so far!
In promethea, the Kabbalist color green is the realm of emotions. The name Netzach means Victory but more specifically it’s about enduring the emotional baggage and trauma of life, letting it pass through you instead of consuming you. I think this is really relatable for a bunch of green villains- there is often a theme of greed, jealously trauma or even psychosis often associated- green goblin, lex Luther, joker, mysterio, scorpion, Etc. Even heroes like Green Lantern and Polaris have an emotionally charged character core. I’ll havta re-read the issue but I’m pretty sure Moore used the word “endure” in his description, and according to the tree, the next stop after Netzach is death- be it ego or literal- implying you need to overcome your emotional baggage to transcend past this Death onto the next sphere of truth and enlightenment.
Doctor Doom and his a grim reaper outfit lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hickman gave Doom the ultimate ego death, the most literal fall from grace this sci-fi world has to offer, in order to teach him to live. He moved past the baggage (represented by his face) and revealed it to be beautiful (as beautiful as this artist can make a face at least lol.) Tiferet, the next sphere, literally meaning Beauty
Tumblr media
And then if you wanna continue it, blue (the fantastic four) represents fatherly compassion, the duality between isolation and family, and divine intervention. Everything Doom is hung up on is represented by their uniform lol
Alright so I just finished Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions (for like the 8th time, definition of a comfort game)
For anyone curious, it runs nearly flawlessly on the steam deck. I ran into two or three crashes and got nearly 100% completion which is pretty good for PS3 emulation imo. Some minor audio issues but only in the pre-rendered cutscenes, and could probably be fixed by tweaking the settings on the emulator a little but I never touched that. Anything actually running in the engine worked fine, no glitches or bugs I hadn't experienced playing it on actual hardware.
Anyway, I love love love this game. It was what introduced me to Spider-Man Noir and 2099 and I have very fond memories of reading and rereading the Wikipedia page, falling down a rabbit hole and learning all the stuff about the comics I (at the time) couldn't access. Playing the game again as an adult with a more developed, critical eye, I can see a lot of flaws with the game, but also really get to the meat of what made me love it so much.
Wayyy too much to say but I'll drop some thoughts under the cut
Noir's sections would have been better if there was more variety and different ways to deal with the situations (Spider-Man PS4 has very similar stealth mechanics but they're much better refined, usually give you the option to just go in guns blazing outside of specific challenges and story moments, and give you ways of distracting enemies so you have more control over the situation and room for strategy. That's what this game needed.)
2099 was probably my favorite, Miguel is probably my favorite Spider-Man outside of 616 Peter and maybe Noir depending on how he's written. It's interesting that they chose such a mature voice for Miguel but reused a lot of stuff from the Timestorm storyline, which implies a way younger version of 2099. This probably had the best bosses, Hobgoblin 2099, Scorpion 2099 and Doc Ock 2099. 2/3 are original characters created for this game specifically. I wouldn't mind seeing this version of Hobgoblin come back in some capacity, maybe in the comics. I do wish they brought in more 2099 classic stuff though.
Ultimate is probably the most satisfying in terms of moment to moment gameplay, and I love that the cell shaded art style makes it feel like a graphically enhanced version of Ultimate Spider-Man (PS2). Almost makes me wish that game got a remake, but this was a very satisfying alternative. A lot of continuity nods to the comics, it can seem a lot like Ultimate Peter and Amazing are so similar that they didn't need both, but I really think the worlds they exist in are different enough to be worthwhile.
Amazing is where the game falls flat for me, unfortunately. The art style isn't as fun or unique as the others, the choices of bosses aren't as interesting (aside from Sandman, that level is perfect). He's really the all-rounder, no real gimmick to make him stand out. I think this version could've benefitted from some retooling. Maybe if his combat had been based more on speed and chaining hits rather than just being Ultimate without the crowd control capabilities. I also think they could've gone with a better choice than Juggernaut, and I'd maybe shift the order so Sandman was the first boss and make Kraven a little more difficult. I think I'd swap Juggy for The Lizard and make the level focus on chasing him through the sewers while the tablet lets him turn other people into lizards. Something like that
Overall, I love this game. I think it's a big part of why Mysterio is one of my favorite villains, and it was a big contributor to my love of multiverse stories.
I'll play Edge of Time next when I get a minute and probably have a more detailed post about my thoughts on both games then.
I mentioned Mysterio to my mom and had to clear up some confusion she was having with the movies and ordering and all and who all is in them, but then I got on the topic of that fan theory about Bruce Campbell being Mysterio in the Sam Raimi trilogy because of that one odd line he said in S2
So I looked up some stuff to read to her and to also refresh my memory, and came across a statement from him saying something about really hating “Green Screen Technology“ which...
That got me thinking...
A practical effects Mysterio movie.. now THAT would be SO COOL. it would also make sense for the character to some degree, considering he would certainly know all about special effects and other things that one could use for movies, plays, etc. on top of the whole costume and acting thing.
I would LOVE to see a practical effects live-action Mysterio.
no more convoluted high tech alien tech crap. let’s go old school smoke machines and fireworks and mirrors and pyrotechnics and the whole 9 yards! glitter bombs for the extra pizzazz!! laser lights and all!!
I would give ANYTHING to see that. it would take so much but it would be so worth it and so cool to see in the end.
Spider-Man: Comics Recommendations (The Sixties)
MASTERPOST
So I just finished reading The Amazing Spider-Man comics from the Sixties (aside from about 20-30 issues in the Ditko era). Want to know what's worth a read? Probably everything, in a way, but here are my recommendations in chronological order under the cut, and if you can't be bothered, here's a quick summary:
ASM #1, Ann #6, ASM #39-40, ASM #47, #50-52, #53-61, SSM #2, Ann #4, ASM #67, #68-70, #75, #78-79.
(In bold: what I particularly loved.)
Issue #1. It's a classic. Amazing Fantasy #15 isn't so interesting. It features a few different stories so it's already a meaty part. Please be aware that this era is very verbose and the art is... what it is. Read a few issues from that era here and there, maybe read issues 31-33 ("If This Be My Destiny...!") but you quickly get the idea.
Tumblr media
2. Annual 1: Dozens of cameos, Doc Ock uses Bluetooth, plot twists, it feels like a greatest hits issue.
Tumblr media
3. The Green Goblin diptych: Issues #39-40 AND/OR Spectacular Spider-Man #2 (which partly retells it, and adds to it). For the first, it's the start of Romita Sr. taking over Ditko as the main artist (although he tries to keep the same visual style for his first few issues). The Green Goblin discovers Spider-Man's identity and reveals his own... and in SSM#2, this is retold with better art, as well as more story.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The difference in style is striking and SSM2 is definitely one of my favorites. If you hesitate, pick SSM2.
Maybe you can read issue #42 to see Mary Jane's iconic and long-awaited first appearance, but the issue itself isn't that good.
4. Issue 47: Kraven shoots lasers with his titties, and Peter and Harry become roommates. Enough said. If you enjoyed it, you can read the next two issues as well since they continue the storyline, but they're less fun.
Tumblr media
5. Spider-Man No More (Issues 50 to 52): Another iconic storyline. The mob plot would be a bore if not for a specific character, but Peter has had enough of being Spider-Man and the art is gorgeous. #52 in particular is great. The original comics have different coloring from the scanned, cleaner version, just FYI.
Tumblr media
6. Annual 4: Spidey and the Human Torch team-up against two mysterious villains... The two heroes often pair-up, and I really enjoyed this one so here you go! Plus, you get to see Peter and Harry's apartment in details in a double-spread, as well as the cast in the iconic coffee shop.
Tumblr media
7. What a Tangled Web We Weave (Issues 53 to 61): So here's an extract from my read-through:
Tumblr media
In this batch, we have Dr. Octopus drinking tea with Aunt May, and Spidey getting amnesiac, which influences his hero life and his soap opera daily life.
I was very invested in the storyline, so that's why I'm recommending all of it. If you're a soap fan, read it! And you can add Marvel Super-Heroes 14 as a treat. It's a weird issue, but imo it's a worthwhile read.
8. Issue 67: By this point, the stories are pretty much consistently entertaining, but this issue has a very nice fight with Mysterio. It's a visual treat. Maybe read the previous one if you want context.
Tumblr media
9. The Clay Tablet Arc but specifically #68-70 & 75. Peter gets involved in politics, Civil Rights are discussed, Jameson gets his due, Harry gets a moustache inspired by Fu-Manchu. However, the villains aren't compelling and the mystery of the tablet only gets interesting as it is resolved, hence why you can skip a bunch of issues. Ideally, you'd read everything, but hey, I'm only putting the best out there.
Tumblr media
10. The Night of the Prowler (Issues #78-79): One of the more interesting characters introduced this decade! Aside from that, the balance of soap and action is perfect. The art is awesome too. #80 is also fun.
Tumblr media
gosh he's so pretty
