just got back from an event where ‘the view between villages’ by noah kahan was sung so beautifully by a duo of sisters, which made me think of remus and THEN these two brothers come on and immediately i’m thinking “they’re so black brothers coded” because the older one had longer hair and was playing the guitar and the younger one had shorter hair and was playing the cello. i lost my mind, i didn’t know what to do with myself. the marauders live so rent free in my mind at this point that i can’t escape (i don’t want to)

I don't intend to post much in the way of my personal headcanon here. I view my content as my headcanon. I'm happy for it to stand on its own - or for people to drop me an ask if they are curious.

However, the one thing I do want to put out into the universe is this:

Remus and Sirius both thinking the other one was the spy is something that has haunted me since I first read the book.

How they got to that point, what came after, and what that says or doesn't say about how they feel about each other is the emotional undercurrent of everything I write.
