“I swear to follow the law in order benefit those wronged, or otherwise falsely accused, and bring justice upon the accusers and wrongdoers.” - The Third Ideal of the Skybreakers, as sworn by Alani.
My beautiful, beautiful criminal justice major.
Started this at 5am, its now 11am and I’m finished :’)
It, surprisingly, only took 5 hours.
A little tidbit of info on Alani: if Honorspren had recruited earlier, Alani would probably be a Windrunner. Most of her ideals and personal views focus on making sure innocents aren’t abused under the law— which, upon being mentored by the Skybreakers, she approached it with a more ‘-while following the law aswell’ type way. The threat of accidentally killing Zenel binds her to her Ideals tightly, and she strives to be more strict in her law-following— she doesn’t enjoy the way some Skybreakers find loopholes in the law. (Again, alot of Windrunner energy with her.)
[Image ID: A digital Illustration of Alani, infused with Stormlight, flying beside Zenel and Gloryspren. The Highspren hovers on her left side, and Alani has twisted her body to smile at him. Her eyes are still pale yellow, although they leak stormlight. The Gloryspren arch over her head, favoring her left side. The background is the sky, bright and sunny with rolling clouds partially shading the sun. Alani is clad in a monotone dusty green dress, the long sleeve over her left hand and the whole front of the dress burned off; the Stormlight streaming off of her skin illuminates the underside of her dress. She wears a brown fingerless glove on her left hand and matching slippers with beige socks. Alani’s hair is loose, and slightly shorter than one would remember. Smoke— the aftermath of her Third Ideal— rises up from below her. /.End ID]

What if...?
....Charlize Theron played Nat in the MCU and I actually liked her character?
I feel very torn about Nat because on the one hand - awesome kick ass assassin woman who has trauma and is super self-reliant and compassionate.
On the other hand I literally can't look at ScarJo. It's her mouth. I can't explain it. And I feel like she did a terrible job with Nat so I actively dislike the MCU version of the Black Widow.
And also, the over sexualization of Nat by various male creators doesn't help, which is in no way the fault of Johansson.
But Charlize is like...a legitimate action star. Add to that the whole "I should be allowed to play any character, any tree" comment by ScarJo and I just...can't with MCU Nat.
If only....

Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.
All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.

We're not appreciating the Weird Barbie enough. It's said in the movie that she helps everyone who need help while they always see her as someone who's not as good as them. She was friends with all dismissed Barbies and Kens, was there to offer support and safe shelter for everyone who needed it in Kendom, without her nothing in the movie would've been alright. When Stereotypical Barbie calls her "ugly and unwanted" she still helps her.
She was representing a woman in women's world who was pushed aside by other women because she didn't fit in but still had more wisdom and kindness than everyone who thought they're better than her.

Y’ALL. We have one of those cling film covers in our bathroom window for privacy and in the afternoon when the sun hits it just right, it makes rainbows, right? And today my wife sends me the best pic she’s ever taken:
