hii im starting a tarot blog is it okay if you can give your personal advice on how to read tarot readings for others and how to ask your deck for pac posts ? and do you think its okay to start a blog if you want to practice your skills on tarot reading?

I definitely think it's okay to start a Tarot blog as a beginner so long as you are open and honest about your skill level! It is hard to get better as a reader without lots of practice, and feedback is always something to take into consideration (as long as it is not cruel of course). Try not to take feedback personally; see it as a tool on how to refine your practice.

Be honest about what comes up in the cards. If it is a really nasty reading, you have to let your querent know the truth without sugar coating it. This does not mean be harsh or rude. Think about how you can gently break the news without diluting the message. Sometimes there is a need for a "wake up call" and you have to lay it all out there (still, try to talk to them like they are a friend needing advice!). Every querent is going to have a different energy and require a different touch.

Sometimes your intuition will tell you something completely different than what the card is "meant" to say--trust your instinct over everything! Obviously it is very important to have a working knowledge of what each card and suit represents, but sometimes there is a small detail within the card that catches your attention which changes the reading completely.

How I do PACs is I choose the images first. I shuffle while staring at the image for each group while thinking of the question. I do the same with any question I receive. It kind of feels like a meditative trance. Some decks are less inclined to cooperate in public readings, so it's always a good idea to ask your deck first and be sure to specify it as a public reading not involving yourself when doing the readings.

Have faith in yourself and your readings. Sometimes you may "see" something you feel is strange or far-fetched...don't be afraid to share it. Often those small details are what make the reading personal and impactful. There have been times that I felt like "oh there is no way this is gonna jive with the querent" but I still included it in the reading. Inevitably, I'll be told how accurate the reading was! I guess the best policy as a reader is honesty :) .

Another important thing to remember is that Tarot is not "mean". Tarot is objective. Tarot will tell you how it is without any human emotion or empathy involved. That's where you come in. If a reading is particularly terrible, pull an advice card for the querent. Don't just leave someone with a feeling of doom or hopelessness.

Think about your ethics. What readings are you willing to do, and where do you draw the line? Keep your biases in mind while doing a reading and try to leave them at the door. Let the cards guide you. Don't have an answer ready before you examine the cards (though sometimes you will find you "know" what the cards will say before you read them!).

Don't tell people what to do or how to live their lives...you are guiding them based on the current energy of their situation and energy can always shift. You can give them options, but do not say "you must do/not do this". Tarot deals with objective truth in the moment. A querent always has the right to choose their path and change their circumstances. Some things are set in stone, like when Wheel of Fortune or The Tower pop up, and in these cases you can guide the querent on how they can make the best of the hand they are dealt.

There may be some people who come to you over and over again asking the same question...this is not healthy for you or the querent. You have the right to decline answering in this case, or to gently let the querent know you have already answered this question and they need to take the time to let the reading sink in.

When you first start, you will be absolutely drained...I remember the first two weeks of doing Tarot readings for others and being absolutely drained. I was constantly exhausted and slept a lot. Take it slowly. You will build up your aptitude over time. Make sure you are grounded. Have a cleansed and protected space to ensure your energy levels aren't adversely affected!

Lastly, we are not here to judge anyone. We are here to help! Spiritual growth is the goal :) .

Starting off with my current "workhorse" pens - I have like *checks notes* 36 fountain pens and a bit too many inked up atm, but these are just the ones I'm currently reaching for or have inked up more often than not:

TWSBI Go (F): Kinda ugly! But also kinda cute! It's cheap and works great (I friggin love TWSBI pens tbh) and it has a little hole on the cap where you can attach a lanyard or charms, like I did! Makes it cuter imo and it's kind of my emotional support pen these days.

Opus88 Pocket (EF): This 2022 edition has a little Moon tarot design on the cap so it's pretty much the pen I use exclusively for my witchy/tarot practice journals! A lil bummed the cap doesn't post, especially since its a shorter pocket-sized pen, but not a deal breaker and I still love it.

Pilot Custom 823 (F): My grail pen that I've literally coveted for years and just recently acquired at the DC Pen Show this weekend! It's only been a day but I think it could potentially become my favorite pen. Ever.

Pilot Prera (CM): This is my third Prera lol. I just think they're great and really underrated pens! Also a recent acquisition from the DC Pen Show and this cursive M nib is suuuuper fun to write with.

Pilot Vanishing Point (EF): My favorite pen for planning! Super fine-tipped for writing task lists and schedules and love that it's so convenient/quick-draw with the click mechanism.

Journals/Planners/Notebooks under cut–

Sterling Ink B6 Common Planner: For a good chunk of this year, I was in this planner because I honestly love the size and all the layouts. Super practical and flexible as a system. 10/10 would go back. I've used it to plan, as a reading journal, as a tarot log...

But I get the itch to move around so it's been sitting a little unused since like June, oop.

Leuchtturm A6: I started craving something tiny and minimal so I've been bullet journaling in this pocket notebook for the last month or two and I'm really enjoying it!

Standard-sized Tomoe River Paper notebook: This is pretty consistent in that I don't change up the system itself, but I'm in and out of it for memory keeping/scrapbook journaling! It's almost always a Tomoe River paper notebook of SOME kind that I usually buy in A5 size to go to FedEx and get it cut down to standard. Though I'm thinking of getting a blank Midori MD A5 to have cut down next time - I've been liking the freedom of blank pages for journaling instead of anything lined or gridded.

I really need to catch up with it tbh, but I love sitting in an explosion of printed photos, stickers, and washi and going ham with the pages.

Midori MD Cotton B6 Slim: I also have this sketchbook that sorta turned into a visual sketch diary of sorts. I fell off a while ago but want to get back into it because it's super fun to work in and to look back on!

Wide-sized Cosmo Air Light notebook & A5 Filofax Malden: These are my tarot/witchy journals. Grimoires I guess? One is for journaling and all my messier notes while the other is more for reference and ease of organization.

A5 Leuchtturm: I didn't know if I should include this guy, but I've been writing it in a lot recently so I guess I will lol. This is like truuuly a miscellaneous™ notebook.

I got this A5 notebook back in 2017 to use as my very first bullet journal, then found out that this size is personally waaaay too big for me to use as a bullet journal so I hopped off of it pretty quick. It now sits on my desk because since it's mostly blank I'll just pick it up to use it to write literally A N Y T H I N G.

Most recently, I wrote like 5 pages in one night on notes for a fanfiction piece I was working on (I'm not a writer, this fic is never gonna see the light of day by anyone but me lololol. Hyperfixation is so wild; I've put 80k+ words within just 10 days into it so far and it's been hella therapeutic.)

It's funny because I actually have a NEW notebook arriving tomorrow that I'm going to try out as a bujo/commonplace/omni journal of sorts?? I might write an update post after I've set that up and see how I like it <3

Okay so, when Jungkook and his fs meet, they won't just meet and get married right? Ok, I hadn't logged into Tumblr in days and when I came back I found out that Andrew's girlfriend is crazy, summary of what happened? 😭

She is not crazy. Basically, she’s a luxury witch = a con artist; who charges 4k for 45 minutes of tarot card consultation; has 4 divorces on her resume; who apparently abandoned the last relationship to stay with Andrew; and that Andrew’s friends stopped following her in the IG - even his best friend (Ellie )deleted several photos she had with him; since the first pics of her with Andrew went out there, she does a lot of egosearch, and is making several videos freaking out and responding to anons in a passive aggressive way in the IG story and TikTok; and who a very questionable fashion sense:

Why did paul help john reconcile with yoko? (she said something about this on john's 70th birthday)

What the cards are telling me is that he was veeery naive. I don’t know what kind of shit Yoko told him, but it was like If John was back with Yoko, things would became peaceful and good. Paul didn’t even think that much to “help” Yoko and just told John that they had to be back. Paul thought he really did a good action, and also thought that doing this maybe the things between him and John would be good again. The thing is, probably after saying it, he realised he screwed it up. Also, he couldn’t say nothing more about it because he was too late, so he could see with his own eyes what was happening, but couldn’t do anything about it, and again, he was heartbroken. He did his best to hide his real feelings, but knew very well that he made a mistake, that he was fooled, no matter what he would want to do, he had to back off, because every time he tried he was “blocked”.

Why did Paul help John reconcile with Yoko?

When he thought about this, he felt terrible. It’s like you can’t believe what you are about to do, because it hurts you so much, but YOU HAVE to do it. I think Paul left everything he felt aside to tell John about this, because he thought that this would be the best for him. And as a reader I can feel in his energy his sadness, he truly did this from his heart, never thought about himself at all, probably his mistake was that he did this too quickly.

He thought that saying these words, he truly was doing something good, and he even felt that he did “the good action of the day”, even when he felt somewhat confused about it all, but he made himself believe that he didn’t need to doubt. That was until Yoko was back. He realised that he was fooled. Realised of his “mistake”. And even when probably John or Yoko “thanked” him, he didn’t want to be involved there anymore, didn’t want to talk about it, and face the truth: he LOST.

What did John feel when Paul asked him to go back to Yoko?

I think John tried really hard to understand what was going on. Why Paul was there. What he wants. The thing is, when Paul told him that, he felt really disappointed. “Why Paul would ask me something like this?”. I think he felt that he “didn’t” have a choice, so he accepted what Paul was saying, he thought that happiness would come with Yoko, and he convinced himself of that fact. I think what was “surprising” was that John felt very deceived when Paul didn’t respond to him saying “thank you”, but still, felt very good, very stable in that moment. There were obviously some feelings that he had to think about, but decided to not give them space. I think after some time, he wondered why he felt like he felt, if his life was so “good”.
