Hopelessly Devoted to You
Hello everyone, I recently found raw scans of the newest manga chapter and I could not resist writing a short scenario for it. Horikoshi outdid himself! Please enjoy! 💙
PART TWO
warning(s): implied smut, manga spoilers, Dabi spoilers, chapter 290
When Dabi had shown up unexpectedly on your doorstep you knew something was up. He always called ahead or sent you some kind of last minute text alerting you of his incoming presence. This was too sudden, too bold, too out of the norm.
You didn’t like it.
“Why are you here?” The question tumbled from your lips, unsure if you should have said a word at all judging from his sly smile.
“I just wanted to see you,” he brushed off your question, unwilling to give you the real reason why he was there. He took a seat on the couch, kicking off his leather boots, quickly eyeing your figure as it remained still with a confused stare covering your face. “Why are you so surprised, babe? I thought you would like it.”
“I-I do!” You reassured, he motioned you towards the empty space next to him. You took a seat while his arm snaked around your waist, he pressed a kiss to your neck. “What’s on your mind?”
“Hero society is corrupt,” he muttered, continuing his affection onto your collarbone. His free hand reached up your shirt, feeling the supple skin of your stomach. “Shigaraki has a plan to send it crumbling to its knees. It’ll be the best thing this fucked up world has ever seen. You will be free to do whatever you want, Y/N.”
“Hold on,” You gently cupped his face, running a finger along his patches of scarred skin. It was comforting, exactly what he was craving. “Don’t you mean we?”
“No, you’re too important,” Dabi reached up and intertwined his fingers with yours. Lightly pecking your knuckles, he spoke once more, “Everything requires a sacrifice, I ain’t afraid to be a martyr.”
The confidence behind his words made your blood run cold. He had already made his decision.
“I’m right there with you,” you affirmed, peering into his azure eyes. Dabi paused as he observed the seriousness in your voice. “We’ll do this together.”
“That’s my girl,” he laughed, shaking his head in response. He pulled you onto his lap and buried his face in your chest. “Can’t say no to you. God, we’re fucked!”
You and Dabi were a match made in hell, if he was going to go all in and sacrifice his life then you do the same.
“The system failed me since I was first put in this sick society,” he continued, grimacing about twisted childhood. “Look at me, I have no future, no identity. Quirks define how well we’ll do in the system. You know what I say?”
“Burn it down. To hell with it!”
“Dance on the ashes of the hero society and rebuild it from the ground up. Just me and you, baby!”
Little did you know, he was lying through his teeth. He had no intentions of putting you in danger. Dabi would be the only sacrifice in this fight, you were too precious to lose.
Clothes littered the floor as the tension escalated. Both of you tugging at each other and kissing any skin you could get your lips on. Moans and sweet words filled the air while you both enjoyed each other’s company.
“Dabi… I’m cold.” You snuggled closer to him, pressing your bare chest against his own. The sound of his heartbeat calmed your nerves a bit but the overwhelming thoughts cluttered your head.
His calloused hands traced small circles on your back. His lips pressed a gentle kiss on your forehead. “Why are you so clingy tonight? You worried about the plan?”
Silence filled the bedroom with a sigh leaving your lover’s lips. You only held him tighter in response, reassuring him that you heard what he asked.
A few minutes passed before you mustered up the courage to speak. “I… I have the strongest feeling I won’t ever get to see you again. It’s stupid, I know… but—”
Dabi scoffed, teasing you over unnecessary fear. “You ain’t getting rid of me that easily, babygirl.”
“But…”
“Shh,” he whispered, placing a finger over your quivering lips. He hovered over your figure and leaned in slowly, “Give a kiss, baby. We’re going to be at this all night,” he smirked, gripping at your plush hips.
Dabi was gentle with you, treating you like a fragile doll, he wasn’t treating this like a quick fuck. He was pouring all of his love into you.
This was not an I love you, this was a goodbye.
“Shit!” Hours later, a clap of thunder woke you from your peaceful slumber . You reached for Dabi but felt a cold, empty space in response. “Hm, where…?”
The room was quiet signaling he was long gone. Heavy raindrops pattered against your window, taunting you with their laughter. Your breathing became ragged and uneven as you attempted to process what the hell was going on.
No.
A electric shock ran through your body as you bolted out of bed, checking every single area of your apartment in case he was pulling some cruel joke on you. You needed him and that bastard knew it.
He would never abandon you, right?
Of course not.
“Damn you, Dabi.” You whispered, a stray tear falling from your cheek as you fell to the floor.
He had left without saying a word but you were sure you felt his icy lips brush your temple one last time.
He left you alone, feeling breathless and unbearably lonely. A note on the dining table gave you hope but its words sent your heart into a spiraling abyss.
‘Wait for me.’

Hopelessly Devoted To You II
Continuation of my last scenario with Dabi. Please enjoy the angst, my loves.
Part One: Here
warning(s): implied smut, manga spoilers, Dabi spoilers, CHAPTER 291
The rest of the rainy morning was absolute hell. You showered in an effort to wash away last night’s memory. Scrubbed at your skin until it was sensitive and raw. Cried until your anguished heart was too tired to mourn anymore.
It hurt to pretend that the heat cascading down your skin was Dabi’s body pressed up against yours.
It hurt to glance in the mirror and see the evidence of his existence all over your body, bruised kisses everywhere.
“Touya…” The name felt foreign on your tongue.
It was the ghost of who he used to be. The life he was forced to abandon. A weak, helpless little child. Cursed with a Quirk too powerful for his body. His father’s failed prodigy.
Who is Dabi? Who is Touya? Hell, who are you?
Unanswered calls and texts filled up your spare time as you attempted to reach Dabi at any given moment. Voicemail and read receipts filled the void. No one was to be found in the League of Villains' former hideout. It was lifeless and empty just like the hole in your chest. He made the message clear. He wanted nothing to do with you.
You wandered the streets aimlessly, searching for a sign that would lead you to him.
“I am Touya Todoroki. The eldest son of Endeavor.” There he was, shirtless in front of the camera, presenting his scarred body to the world. Exposing his sins brought upon by the society sworn to protect the most vulnerable.
It was not the first time you had heard it but it still felt unfamiliar.
Dabi’s painful last words rung in your head, taunting you with their sickly sweet tone.
“Shigaraki has a plan... You will be free to do whatever you want, Y/N.”
“Everything requires a sacrifice, I ain’t afraid to be a martyr...”
“Endeavor’s eldest son?” A passerby commented, clearly shocked by the bold statement. “That’s impossible.”
“Turn it off…” you muttered under your breath, a cold sweat erupting all over your body. The urgency in your voice rising with each plea as you received confused glances from the crowd. “Turn it off, turn it off, TURN IT OFF!”
An incoming call from a familiar face gave you hope as his voice raged over the phone, “Y/N, get your ass over here! We need back up!”
The League was proceeding with their plans and you were going to help. Determination was lit inside of you once again.
“Spinner!” You frantically yelled over the phone, sprinting down the streets and plucking a white feather ornament from your hair, elevating yourself into the sky. “I’m on my way! Where are you headed?”
“We’re at- hey! Give it back-!”
“Stay out this, sweetheart,” Dabi’s voice cut in before the line went silent.
It was not a warning, it was a threat.
No matter what you tried, the broadcast would not stop. It was everywhere. You were not ready to give up though. “Skeptic,” you stated, desperation in your voice, “You’re the one broadcasting? Trace this call and send the location. Now.”
“Don’t insult me,” he answered arrogantly before hanging up and providing you with the necessary coordinates.
Soon enough, you spotted Gigantomachia’s protruding figure as the heroes’ surrounded the local area. Shigaraki had them preoccupied for the most part until he had fallen, the damage sustained was too much to bare.
“The League of Villains is calling for reinforcements,” a voice shouted, your location had been compromised. “Shoot her down!”
“Dance of Blades,” you waved your fan directly at the enemy, creating a wind gust that morphed as it traveled through the air into a plethora of crescent-shaped blades that pierced through virtually anything. The horrified heroes’ were stunned as they watched the destruction unfold on the ground.
Y/N L/N - Quirk: Kagura
With her traditional dance fan, she is able to call down a variety of wind-related powers, including and not limited to: summoning a large tornado, shooting out wind-blades, and resurrecting corpses as her personal puppets. Using a feather ornament she wears in her hair, she can enlarge it to become large enough for her to climb on and then manipulate the wind to carry it (and her) wherever she pleases.
“Watch out, Y/N!”
Endeavor had found your blind spot, eager to stop you in your tracks, he unleashed a concentrated blast. “Prominence Burn!”
There was no possible way to avoid his fiery surprise attack, you were going to be incinerated.
Azure flames blocked the incoming attack headed your direction but you were thrown off your feather. Dabi’s face held a grim expression when you glanced in his direction.
“Someone’s light on their feet as always,” Mr. Compress complimented, relieved you had arrived safely to provide much needed support. “Your Quirk helped with guiding you onto Machia’s back safely.”
“How dare you abandon me!?” You lunged towards Dabi’s figure but your comrades stopped the attempt. He glanced in your direction and offered a crooked smile while a laugh tumbled from his lips. “Is this a fucking joke to you?”
“I’d be lost without you,” Mr. Compress and Spinner were holding back your thrashing limbs, but they could not stop the agonizing screams coming from your mouth. Afraid to lose more comrades against the heroes’ current assault.
“Then you’re going to be lost,” Dabi said heartlessly, your tearful gaze not gazing him in the slightest.
“But you promised… us against the world.”
“Things change, Y/N. I have.” Dabi replied, turning away from you. “And I suggest you do the same.”
“What dollface?” Dabi scoffed, nearing your defeated figure. “You wanna act like a hero now, huh?” He spat in your face, pushing you backwards onto the floor. “Try and fix the broken Touya from once before?”
“Did you know I was a carbon copy of that bastard? My hair turned white after all the hell he put me through!”
“Why are you doing this!?” You cried out, crumbling to your knees.
“Oh darling, there’s blood on your hands too,” he stated, poking an accusatory finger into your chest. “You and that Quirk of yours are to be feared,” he continued as fury coursed through your veins. “Why don’t you demonstrate your fancy technique Dance of the Dead, huh?”
He doesn’t mean it. He’s doing this on purpose.
“You’ve murdered as many people as I have with that precious fan of yours,” Dabi sneered, ripping the item out of your grasp.
He wants to push you away.
All of your pent up frustration was channeled into one hard fist to the cheek. “You dumb motherfucker, I love you!”
“Ha…” Dabi chuckled, wiping away the blood from his mouth. He gripped your shirt and brought you towards his face, before dipping you down and kissing you harshly. “I was trying to keep you safe,” he shook his head in disbelief, trying to make sense of the situation.
“You win,” Dabi extended his hand out towards you, a crazed smile on his lips as he pulled you next to his side, “Let’s dance in hell together, sweetheart!”
All you could do was watch as Dabi... No.
Touya confronted the man who he once referred to as his father. Stunned expressions filled their hopeless eyes. “The past never dies! Thanks for hanging in there until now, Endeavor!”
Spinner shook their leader’s battered body but to no avail. “Wake up Shigaraki! We’re here! Give Machia an order.”
You needed to help.
“Spinner, Skeptic, Mr. Compress,” you plucked the last remaining feather ornament from your hair. The trio gave you confused stares until you spoke once more. “Get out of here with Shigaraki. You’ll need to figure out the landing on your own.”
“What...” Mr. Compress answered in a puzzled manner, “Are you part of this overcooked family reunion as well...?”
“What can I say?” A pitiful smile spread across your face while the wind carried you towards your lover, “I’m hopelessly devoted to him…”
