It is the Official State Flower of North Carolina!
Along with lilac vine (Hardenbergia), daffodil and some acacia trees, Carolina jessamine, Gelsemium sempervirens, is one of the first flowers to bloom late in winter. The small, loose clusters of inch long and wide tubular flowers are as bright yellow as those of the various acacia and daffodil, though not nearly as abundant, and actually…

The Railroad Vine blooms usually do not make it to sunset. The sun burns them up. This day must have had a lot of cloud cover.

Flame Vine
Flame vine bloom before spring here.
Like so many popular spring bulbs, flame vine, Pyrostegia venusta, may not delay bloom until spring as it should. Within the warmly sunny situations that it prefers, it is more likely to bloom during winter. It may wait until the end of winter or even the beginning of spring only where winter weather is cooler. Bloom is already finishing where winters are…

So she was just on the cusp of being ready and sort of half bloomed. I tried hand pollination but things didn't look altogether ready in there so I'm leaving it alone, sometimes when they do this they'll try again with a little more oomph the next morning.

Listen. Yeah, I wrote this with the intention of giving these little sillies gay undertones, but this is getting to the point where the only possible reasonings for their emotions is that they’re either (a) really best bros forever with some questionable thoughts or (b) so fucking gay for each other that they’re going to explode

Vax'ildan
General
Name: Vax'ildan

Alignment: Chaotic good
Age: 27 (in campaign 1)
Height: 5'11"

Background
Vax'ildan and his twin sister Vex'ahlia were born to a human mother and an elven father. They were raised by their mother until age 10, when their father brought them back to his home city to raise them amongst the elves.
Never truly fitting in with the elves, they left to be on their own at age 16, heading back to their mother a few years later, only to find their childhood home gone and their mother dead, killed by a dragon.
They wandered alone for a few years, before eventually meeting and befriending the others who would form the group Vox Machina.

Note: I am still (slowly) working my way through campaign one so please be patient with me! Although I know what happens to Vax and have seen TLoVM!
Primarily will be writing in bg3 verse for now, were Vox Machina and Greyskull Keep are located just outside Baldurs Gate. But definitely open to critical role muses and writing that as well, especially as I get more familiar with it!
