Hoi Jo!!!!
I was looking at your rules to see if what I wanna ask is against them or not (I don't wanna be annoying and ask something that's clearly in your rules...) But how are you with sugar daddy fics, like Bakugou being said sugar daddy, and reader being someone who needs the extra cash...
I only ask cause I have a fic I like to go back to every little bit and re read, (it's not MY fic, I'm not a writer, I'm a reader lol) and I was wondering if you have read it, or if that's even in your likes!! (Knowing myself you probably have read it and I probably found it from you...)
It's called Sweet nothings, and it's second part called Sweet somethings by user - gr0vndz3ro
Hope you are having a great day/night! And if you arent I know it will turn around!!! 😆
Omg I just looked the fic up and it was from the BNHA bookclub days and I got war flashbacks😂😭
I don’t read a lot of sugar daddy content tbh, cause a lot of the way people write it just isn’t for me… but it feeds into so many of my kinks so I’ll def give this one a go! Especially because I trust your recommendations 100%!!!
I’ll read and let you know what I think!😚 thank you lovely!💕

domestic
request: hi!! could you do some soft domestic hcs with tamaki and kirishima 🥺👉🏼👈🏼 like how they are when helping their s/o around the house. doing things like cooking, cleaning, laundry and simple things like that? your writing is incredible and makes my heart flutter! thank you so much 💗
pairing: tamaki amajiki and eijiro kirishima x reader
A/N: this is so cute :( thank you for the request and being such a sweetheart! i hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
tamaki amajiki
tamaki i feel like is a very domestic boy as is
for him to be dating someone he’d have to be completely comfortable with them, that’s a given
but if the two of you have your own place together it would be the like cosiest homiest place on earth
he would call it your nest :(
only to you though cause he’d blush a lot if someone overheard
i’d say he’s also a relatively clean person in general, since he gets anxious easy i don’t think messes would help that at all
but because of his quirk he does have to utilise the kitchen a lot
would usually prep meals or food to eat in bulk so that he isn’t being a bother too often, which does mean your fridge is always full
if you ever wanna help him clean up afterwards he’ll insist on doing it alone, but also loves cleaning together since it means he can be close to you while he works
i think because he’d cook for his quirk he’d always make BOMB meals
like there is no doubt
he would be so cute cooking for you cause he’d be nervous about you liking it
:( baby
BUY HIM AN APRON AND HE’LL WEAR IT ALL THE TIME
even if he blushes a lot or gets shy
do it
seems the type to want to have a designated day for cleaning
say you both have the day off - to him that means it’s go time
you’d both get into comfy clothes and get to work
the laundry would be done, floors cleaned, dishes put away
he works fast
also he’d get beyond embarrassed if you tell anyone but sometimes he wears a headband you gave him to keep his hair out of his eyes while he works
which looks adorable
you got him one with ears on it as a surprise and he lowkey loves it
afterwards the two of you would cook dinner together and get all cosy on the couch
tamaki would be surprisingly clingy even after you’ve spent the entire day together, mostly because he wasn’t able to give you affection
also he seems the type to show his love through actions anyways
so bet one day if you come home drained from work he’d have the entire house spotless, clothes set up for you and a bath drawn
he’s baby
kirishima
another sweet boy
there’s just something about him that screams homey to me
i think it’s just because his presence is so nice??? and like welcoming??? who knows
i also just think he has a good routine down for sure so cleaning or doing general domestic things with him would be a dream
i mean come on you know his hair must take forever to do in the morning homeboy has the best time management skills
will always carry the bedsheets when doing laundry since there’s a lot and it gets kind of heavy
also definetely the type to take advantage of the house being cleaned to be more affectionate with you
the floor is wet since it had to be mopped? oh no! looks like he’ll have to carry you around the house to make sure your feet don’t get wet
he’s been cleaning the oven for hours and you can’t get in to make dinner? he’ll already have planned what to make for you both
i think he’s also the type to get excited when it comes to grocery shopping together, especially for cleaning products
you’d probably have to help convince him that the smell of something doesn’t define how masculine he is though
like deadass you can bet before he met you he used 3 in 1′s that have those ads that are like
SPICES!!! THE WOODS!!! TESTOSTERONE!!!
now he has an acquired taste for soaps and cleaning products
“baby why don’t we try this one? it’s supposed to smell like mandarin!”
will be very proud of himself and of you when you do a good job too
you bet he brings about the idea of giving you kisses as rewards when you can take something off of your to do list
he would be the most likely to goof off when you’re doing housework as serious as he takes it
quite often will want to take breaks and have a proper conversation or just give you affection
also if you ever do housework alone??? he’s offended
say one day he comes home to you doing the dishes or folding laundry
he’ll be like :(
without me though?
so expect either him to help you out right away
or to cling to you and whine a little in hopes of getting your attention
which he always wins lets face it
would also love getting into bed with you once the sheets are clean
doesn’t matter if it’s 10am or 10pm
will call it “breaking them in” just as an excuse to cuddle

A Caged Dove Part 3 (Shouto Todoroki x Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: You are a princess from a smaller territory within the kingdom, summoned to the castle to meet with the heir of the throne in the absence of your parents. Pairing: Prince Shouto Todoroki x Reader Rating: T+ for this chapter, but E+ for future ones. Chapter Warnings: Yandere themes, nonconsensual touching, obsession, suggestion of forced marriage, murder Series Warnings: Noncon, dubcon, breeding, forced marriage, forced pregnancy, stalking, yandere Word Count: 2.5k Note: Fairy Tale AU. (Still more Grimm than Disney). First part was my event entry into the @bnhabookclub. I have loved doing this series, and I am so glad to have such a positive response to it. Hope you guys like part 3 just as much! Thank You: To @thewheezingwyvern...woman, I continue to appreciate your help. @jojosmilktea, thank you again for making the gorgeous banner for me! I am but a humble peasant compared to your banner making, and must bow to the queen.
One || Two || Three || Four || Five (Finale)
You have run through every aspect of this escape plan so often that you feel like your head is spinning. As plans go, it is not the most detailed or the most elaborate. And the thought of escaping from the royal palace itself fills you with a terror you didn't think was possible. But there was no other option. You fear there is no help coming for you, and you have to get out before Prince Shouto forces you into a marriage that you do not want.
So you are left to do this on your own, unable to count on anyone but yourself. There has been no sign of your bodyguard or handmaiden that came with you from your estate, and nobody will tell you anything about their whereabouts, a fact that worries you greatly. You care about them both, having known them for years, but you can't let that stop you from escaping.
You go through the plan one last time as you check your bag of supplies. It contains extra clothes, food, water, and various other items that you may need to survive until you can make it to another town. You've never had to survive out in the woods before, but you'll have to make do.
Sliding open the door as quietly as you can, you look around the area. You see no one and hear nothing at all, so you step out and shut the door gently behind you. The cold air surprises you, and you find yourself shivering as you draw your cloak closer around yourself. You did not expect it to be this cold, and you hope the clothes you have packed will be enough to stay warm.
The entire area has already been examined and mapped out under the pretense of exploring what is to be your new home, so you have a general idea of which way to go even in the dark. You slowly creep down the hallway, sometimes pausing in dark alcoves here and there to listen for any incoming people. But the castle is deathly silent. This fact should make you feel relieved, but instead, you only feel deeply unsettled. There should at least be some activity going on, even if just the servants and groundskeepers. But there is not a single person anywhere to be found.
You briefly consider the possibility that your plan has been discovered. But you shake that idea from your head immediately. It would be impossible for anyone to know, and even if they did, it would only make you panic if you thought about it too hard. So you continued down the path that you had mapped over the past few days. But you stop entirely when you hear what sounds like footsteps approaching from the area you're walking towards.
Fear threatens to overtake you, but you manage to keep your calm and rush to a nearby door. You are grateful when the door opens without a sound, and you instantly shut the door as quietly behind you as you can and simply wait. The footsteps approaching get louder and louder, and you can barely stop the fear threatening to overtake you. The footsteps get closer and closer until they stop right in front of the door you went through.
You slam a hand over your mouth when you become afraid that you'll make a noise, almost too panicky to even breathe for fear that it'll be heard. Even indoors, you still find yourself struggling to keep warm while forcing yourself not to shiver and give yourself away.
The guard stands there for what feels like hours, but at best must have been a few minutes, before finally walking away down the hallway you were coming from. You slowly begin to breathe, trying to calm yourself down as best as you can before finally getting the courage to open the door.
You peek your head out as little as you possibly can to check both ways, but you hear no sounds anymore, so you step out and quietly close the door behind you again. You are almost to your destination, and so all there is for you is keep moving. So you begin to walk as fast as you possibly can without giving up on speed and quiet.
And that is when you finally saw it. It was the exit for the servants to come and go from the castle, and when you mapped out this plan, you figured that it would be so heavily guarded. And it seems like you were right. There is not a single person around, not even a single guard or servant.
Another part of the plan involves dressing down the best that you could, not wearing your noble finery. Although you could not pass for a servant, you hope that you can be mistaken as a noblewoman's handmaiden.
As you step out from the shadow of the castle, the deathly cold air hits you in the face and almost takes your breath away. There is something wrong, you think. It is even more frigid than it was when you left on what was supposed to be a balmy evening.
You realize that you can't stand here and keep worrying about it, you have to make a move for it. So you take one last look around, and seeing nothing, hurry quickly to the exit before anyone can notice you. You barely make it halfway across the courtyard to the exit when your limbs feel like they're going numb.
You glance down and see that ice has covered them, locking them into place and preventing them from moving. You let out a sharp gasp as you turn around and see your worst nightmare come true.
It is Prince Shouto himself standing there as ice runs from the ground right underneath him all the way to you. You glance down to see the ice spreading even further up your body, and you try to jerk your way out of the ice but manage to do nothing but cause a stinging pain to run up your leg. You let out a small hiss of pain as you reach down to try and yank your leg free.
"I wouldn't try to escape that ice, Princess."
You glance up at him and would recoil backward, if only you were able. The fury in his eyes is unmistakable, his body barely kept under control as you watch him physically shake from the rage that he is feeling. You notice he is dressed down in casual wear, something that they would wear to family functions and friends. But it is certainly not what a royal would wear to bed, indicating that even at this hour he was still awake. Another thought occurred to you instantly following that thought. "Did - did you know?"
He begins to saunter towards you, stalking you almost like prey. "Yes, I knew about your plan to escape almost as soon as you decided it. You are clever, Princess, but you are not up to my level. Not even close."
"Please, Prince Shouto, just let me go," you plead with him. "I won't tell anyone about this, I promise. But I don't want any of this. I just want to go home. With my parents."
At this, Prince Shouto begins to laugh, his smile turning into a twisted smirk. "Ah, but you are home already. This is even where your parents are."
"What is that supposed to mean," you snap at him, not even caring about your tone his official title anymore.
"Exactly what I said. I have your parents in the dungeon of this castle, right this minute."
You shake your head in disbelief. "You're lying. They're on a diplomatic mission."
He has made his way to you by this point, reaching up to run his cold fingertips down your jawline. "Is that what they told you? I can't imagine they would have told you the truth."
You have a sneaking suspicion of what he is about to say, and you close your eyes against the words. You try to move your legs again, but you can no longer even feel them through the numbness.
"The diplomatic meeting they went on," he leans in close to whisper in your ear, "was with me. You see, I intended to ask politely to marry you. But I also knew your parents would be stubborn. When they refused me, I had them thrown in the dungeons."
You shake your head as you try and refuse the truth of what he's saying. "I don't believe you. If you already had them, then why were they summoned?"
He grins, a sinister look crossing his face. "That's because they weren't summoned. You were."
"You mean to say that my parents were already imprisoned," your voice rises in alarm. "But you told me -- ." You think back to your first conversation with him. You remember talking about your parents, talking about them being called away due to important business. But you also remember a few other things that were said.
"You - you did mention that you summoned me," you whisper in horror, "but I didn't put any thought into it. But you also said that my parents agreed!"
"Ah, but they did agree."
"They would never agree to something like that."
His hand trails from your jawline down to your neck before putting light pressure as he squeezes. "I think you'll find most things can be agreed upon with certain - methods."
You let out a gasp at his words, the meaning painfully clear. He had your parents tortured. Your sweet, kind-hearted parents who never hurt a fly. Who only wanted to do what was best for their kingdom, their people, and their only daughter. You feel tears running down your face as it becomes harder to breathe. "Are they still alive," you whisper, needing to know the answer but afraid to ask.
"Oh, they're alive. And they'll continue to be." He takes a long pause as he runs his hand down your side. "As long as you give me what I want, princess."
You are openly sobbing now, unable to stop thinking about your poor parents. They would never wish this on you and would never have easily agreed. The things he must have done to them - your brain shuts down. You can't try to imagine details, or you will be unable to think about anything else. The thoughts will run through your mind endlessly until you go mad.
"How do I know they're still alive? And my bodyguard and handmaiden, what about them? I haven't seen them since I came to the castle."
"Oh, I can easily take you to see them with your own eyes. And as for the other two - they were executed for treason just several hours ago."
"No, no, oh god no," you feel your body begin to tremble. You can't seem to make yourself breathe at all as the walls seem to be closing in on you. The two may have been servants to your household, but they were also still friends. People who you had known for most of your life. And now they were dead? You didn't want to believe it, but you also knew Prince Shouto was not the type to lie about such a thing. If he said they were executed, then they were executed.
"WHY?" You intended to sound rational, but you instead find yourself screaming. "They had nothing to do with any of this or with my escape, they were innocent!"
"I'm aware," he simply shrugs his shoulders, as if the fact was irrelevant.
You stare at him in disbelief at the answer, unable to say anything.
"You need to know what happens when you try to go against me. You are mine, and the sooner you understand that, the less people will die because of you."
They - they died because of you? You did not want to imagine it, wanted to believe he was lying. You opened your mouth to speak, to try and deny it, but all that came out was a sob.
When you're able to speak a little, you try to ask the question running through your mind. "If I hadn't -" you pause to let out a sniffle as you try not to sob again, "would they be alive still?"
He ran his hands gently through your hair before reaching down to heat the ice holding your legs and feet in place on the ground. "Of course they'd still be alive," he whispered in your ear, "they died due to your actions."
Those words combined with your too numb legs cause you to collapse, unable to hold your weight up. He catches you easily, wrapping one arm tightly around your waist and cupping your head with the other.
He brings you up into a heated, passionate kiss and you simply allow him, too in shock to try and stop him. The kiss is rough and possessive, as if he seeks to dominate your mouth. He uses teeth to bite at your lip as one hand roams up and down your body. When he reaches down to cup your sex through your dress, you let out an involuntary gasp that allows him to deepen the kiss even further.
When he finally pulls away, you're gasping for air while he remains unphased. The only indication that the kiss has affected him at all is the hardness you feel pressed against you. But he makes no move to any further action, choosing to simply take in your red lips and flushed cheeks with a smirk.
"What is your answer, Princess?"
Your answer? In your dazed state, you almost don't remember what the question is. But then you remember, and it hits you all over again how well he has outplayed you. You have no other option but to go along with him. So that your parents are safe. There is no guarantee he won't kill them anyway, but there is a guarantee he will if you refuse him again. It is a chance you have to take.
You realize you're sobbing again as he gently shushes you, pulling you into his chest while whispering sweet nothings into your ear. As if he expects it to work. And unfortunately, it is working, as you find yourself relaxing slightly in his embrace.
"Yes," you say quietly into his chest.
"Yes, what?"
Of course he expects more, you think bitterly. How much will this man continue to take from you? He has what he wants already, and yet he seems to want more. Seems to want even your pride and dignity. Well, if that's what he wants, then he'll get it. For your parents, who have always loved you. For your bodyguard and childhood friend so that they won't have died in vain.
When you are finally able to speak, your voice comes out weightier than you expected, more confident than you truly feel. "Yes, I will marry you, Prince Shouto," you utter the dreaded words as you feel yourself being shoved further into the cage that you can't seem to escape.

--Hello~ Can I get a scenario where the reader really wants to prank their boyfriend but also get a kiss out of it so they use their water based quirk to breathe underwater (something they haven't gotten the chance to explain/use before) so it makes the boy think they drowned and they underwater kiss him? Can be whichever boy you want. Love your writing! so soft and fluffy. makes me melt everytime.
Pairing: Todoroki Shouto x Reader
Notes: When in doubt, Todoroki. Always. Also I’m so happy you enjoy my writing tysm <333
Tumblr media
“So much for training.”
“Like we were going to get anything done in the first place,” you said with a small shrug from where you were treading water in UA’s practice pool, Ochaco floating beside you.
“Yeah, I guess,” she agreed. “I feel kind of bad, though, lying a second time about the pool.”
“Iida does have a way with words.” Asui popped up from the depths of the pool with a small ribbit. “And he technically didn’t lie...”
“Keep doing those laps!” Tenya yelled at Midoriya and Todoroki on the pool’s deck, the three of them running up and down the dry area next to the water.
“I’m just glad he didn’t rope us into that,” you sighed, dipping deeper into the water for a split second and sending bubbles rushing out of your mouth before rising up again. “I just want to sit in the water forever.”
“You and Asui sure are thriving.”
“Mmm.” Your eyes flitted from your friends in the water next to you to the boys running laps. “Definitely.”
“My God. His eyes are up there you know.”
“Shut up!” you yelled, a faint blush dusting your cheeks as you sent a small wave of water crashing into Uraraka with a flick of your wrist, hesitantly ripping your gaze from Shouto’s muscled figure crossing the length of the deck. “I was observing their practice!”
“Whatever you say.”
“I made it,” Deku gasped, staggering to a halt as Iida finally announced the conclusion of their run. “Water--I need water--”
With that, he stumbled to the edge of the pool and toppled in with a splash.
Iida and Todoroki seemed to be relatively unaffected, on the other hand. “Nice job, guys!” you cheered, dousing them both with a cooling spray of water.
“Thank you,” Iida said proudly, hands set firmly on his hips as he stared down at the three of you relaxing in the water. “Though I cannot say the same for you three.”
“Come on,” you groaned, sending one last flick of water his way. “I did like three push-ups earlier.”
“She did,” Midoriya confirmed, resurfacing next to you. “I saw.”
Tenya sighed, his hand reaching up by habit to adjust where his glasses would normally be before stopping halfway. “Well. I guess it doesn’t matter if they didn’t do the warmup.”
“Warmup?” Ochaco asked in surprise. “That was a warmup?”
“I could use some warming up right now,” you said mischievously, raising yourself out of the water and pointing at Todoroki. “Care to help me out?”
Shouto looked at you for a few seconds in silence before tossing a towel at you and crossing to the other side of the pool.
You caught the towel and stared at his retreating back in bewilderment. You were just joking. Kind of. Maybe.
Ten minutes later you really were starting to get concerned.
“I don’t know what I did,” you hissed as you swam laps with Tsuyu. You could hear Deku and Uraraka yelling in the background as a heated race was going on a few lanes down from where the two of you were. “He’s been ignoring all my attempts to talk to him. Was the warm up joke earlier too much?”
Asui paused in her swimming to stand upright in the water, her finger pressed against her cheek thoughtfully. “Maybe he just wants to focus on actually exercising.”
“But I asked him if he wanted to race me and he said no,” you cried, splashing your hands around in the water below you as a way to relieve yourself of your frustration.
She patted your head sympathetically. “You haven’t done anything wrong. Just...don’t go to extreme means to get his attention, okay?”
You were going to go to extreme means to get your boyfriend’s attention.
You swam down to the very bottom of the thirteen-foot deep pool to think it over. What kind of prank would you have to pull that would grab his focus for sure? Maybe you’d even get a kiss out of it, if you were lucky.
The deep water was always where you felt most at peace, the quiet rippling of the water’s movements rushing past your ears and giving you stability. And breathing certainly wasn’t a problem for you. You had your little pocket of air down at the bottom of the pool that you had created. Every sound from the surface was muted, from the calls of the birds passing over head to the playful shouts of your friends competing against each other. There was a loud splash from somewhere up above, but you paid it no mind. Deku and Uraraka were probably racing again.
You wondered who Todoroki was cheering for.
A cold hand gripped your bare shoulder out of nowhere, and it startled you so much you almost collapsed your air bubble. Opening your eyes and whipping around, you were even more surprised when you came face to face with Shouto himself. He had a panicked expression on his face for the split second it took for you to look up, which was quickly replaced with his usual monotone one.
His grip on your shoulder tightened, and you realized that he had been underwater for too long. You quickly extended your air space to encircle his body, too, and watched as he sucked in air like his life depended on it.
Wait, it actually did.
“What were you thinking?” Shouto yelled suddenly, and you blinked rapidly in shock.
“What are you talking about?” you demanded, all your pent up frustration at how he wouldn’t just talk to you this whole afternoon flooding into those five words.
“Do you know how I felt when you went underwater and never came back up?” He frantically ran his fingers through his dripping wet hair, breathing still slightly heavy. “I thought you had drowned or--”
You cut him off with a burst of laughter. He watched you wheeze for a good ten seconds before insisting you tell him right now what on Earth you found so funny.
“S-Shouto--” you gasped, clutching your sides as the two of you floated thirteen feet under the surface of the water. “You seriously think that I, someone with a water quirk, would drown? In a school pool?”
“I-” His brow furrowed in the cutest way possible as you watched him connect the dots. “Oh.”
“I’m flattered, really, I am,” you said, crossing your arms tightly around your chest as you averted your gaze from Todoroki’s dumbstruck one, your giddy mood coming to a screeching halt. “But I only came down here to think. About what I could have possibly done wrong earlier.”
“What you did...wrong?”
“Why you’ve been ignoring me!” you exclaimed, throwing your hands up in the air--or, water--in exasperation. “Please just talk to me! Was it something I said or...?”
Todoroki’s cheeks flushed a pale shade of pink, so faint you could barely see it. He ducked his head down and rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “I...uh...I didn’t want to get distracted.”
“Yeah, but even when I asked exercise-related things you still left!” You were still so, so confused, but as you surveyed him, who was literally looking anywhere but you, a thought popped into your mind.
“Does being near me take your mind off of practice?” you asked innocently.
“No,” he insisted in vain, though the deepening blush on his face did him no favors. “I mean--not that I was--I wasn’t--”
You didn’t know what to make of this new Todoroki, this blushing mess that you were pretty sure had never been seen by any of your classmates before.
But you’d be lying if you said you hated it.
"It’s a shame it took me almost drowning to bring you back to your senses,” you said crossly, a mischievous glint in your eye. “I think you need to make it up to me.”
Todoroki arched a brow as the two of you drifted closer and closer to each other, the water seemingly nudging you together. He brought his hand to cup the side of your face and leaned in, his lips just barely brushing over the corner of your mouth. “Can I kiss you?”
“Please.”
Closing the distance, you shut your eyes and kissed him hard, hands sliding up to wrap around his toned back and shoulder. His own hands were now planted firmly at your waist, his small sighs sending warmth ricocheting through your body at the slightest whisper of his breath across your skin. You beamed against his mouth and held him just a little bit tighter. You missed being this close to him. Sure, it had just been for just a couple hours, but you never wanted to experience those hours without him by your side ever again.
The two of you broke apart with a gasp. Todoroki’s eyes were half-lidded as he blinked down at you, drunk on your kisses.
“Take a deep breath,” you murmured near his ear, and once the two of you had done so, you collapsed the air bubble surrounding you and pressed your mouth to his once again.
It was usually a strange sensation for you to hold your breath underwater. After all, your quirk enabled you to breathe underwater, so why not use it? You had gotten so used to being able to breathe in water that it took all your mental energy to not take a breath right then and there.
You kissed with your eyes open this time. There was something exhilarating about knowing you had only one breath to use, only so much air to spare before you had to either come back to the surface or create another air pocket. You were kissing to remember this time, your gaze raking over the many bubbles flurrying in the small gap between your faces, to the small line of bubbles that had collected under Todoroki’s eyelashes and on his cheekbone. A line of sunlight from the surface filtering through the clear water rested over Shouto’s eye and nose, highlighting his narrowed eyes as he stared at you so intensely, like he was trying to memorize every last feature of your face.
Your lungs began to burn, and from the way Todoroki’s lips went slack against yours and pulled away by a fraction, he was running out of air, too. You raised a hand and the water pushed the two of you up towards the surface until you broke it wheezing for breath, hands still interlocked.
“You still thinking about practice?” you panted, mouth curving into an insufferable grin.
He shook his head, words failing to escape him at that moment from his lack of breath. The rest of your friends were shouting something at the two of you from the pool deck, but it was all background noise to you.
“Too bad. I challenge you to the race we should have had earlier.”
Todoroki huffed a laugh and pulled you towards the edge of the pool so the two of you could climb out.
“You’re on.”

Please Let Me Take You Ch 2
You guys have voted, and so I finished chapter two of PLMTY!  Here’s the link to Chapter 1! PLMTY MASTERLIST
True to form, Katsuki stayed for breakfast and was out the door before your plate was even in the sink. With a sigh, you started running the water. You were so optimistic this morning, but Katsuki ate in silence, not responding to any of the questions you asked with more than a grunt. You nodded to yourself as you set to cleaning the dishes. Next time he came home, you would talk to him. Something needed to change. Hopefully, before you started falling prey to Kaminari's flirtatious attitude just to have some affection in your life.
You busied yourself with straightening the house for as long as you could, reveling in the way your sheets smelled like burnt caramel before lamenting that you’d have to clean them. The flaky stains on the sheets turned your stomach, and you wondered again if this was what love should feel like.
Only an hour or two, and Katsuki’s clothes were hung on the line, the sheets were in the wash, and your house once again looked barren. You shifted uncomfortably from foot to foot, unsure how to spend your time. After consideration, you shot a text to Mina. Unassuming, just checking in to see how bad the hangovers hit your friends.
You were surprised by a sharp trill from your phone, quickly picking up to Mina's shrill voice. "My sweet angel, please save me." She cried, "the boys came back to my place to sleep it off, and now I have a grumpy Kaminari on my hands." You giggled at her whine. "He woke up in the guest bed and got all excited, now he's being all mopey knowing he didn't get into someone's bed."
“Like he would know what to do when he got there.” Mina’s cackle made you pull the phone from your ear.
“Hear that Sparky, Y/N says you wouldn’t know what to do if you got in someone’s bed!” You laughed as you heard the scuffle on the other side. You let yourself relax onto the couch, reminding yourself to straighten out the blanket on the back before Katsuki got back. He was a real bitch about things like that.
“Hey angel, if you let me into your bed, I can show you just how much I know.” Kaminari’s signature flirtatiousness was marred by the heavy sleep in his voice.
“If you can handle coming to Katsuki’s house and into Katsuki’s bed, maybe I’ll take you up on that offer.” You knew you were skating on thin ice, but couldn’t help but feel smug as you heard him whine and pass the phone back to Mina.
“Sorry ‘bout that, babe. So, were you just calling to check up or…?” Mina prodded at you with her question.
“Katsuki came home last night, and before you ask, he already left. Guess I’m just feeling a bit cooped up still.” You sighed into the receiver.
"Oh, babe, give me ten minutes, and I'll be on my way."
 “You’re the best, Mina.”
“I’ve been telling you this for years! See you soon.” The call ended with a click, and you rushed to make yourself presentable. Last night’s makeup was rubbed off and flaked uncomfortably underneath your eyes. You quickly set to removing the remainder, settling for a simple moisturizer before shedding your clothes. The warmth of your shower stung on your skin, but you embraced it as you stood in the scalding water. It used to remind you of Katsuki’s quirk against your skin, but now it just made you want to scrub him from your skin.
Mina’s timing was impeccable as always, sauntering into Katsuki’s- your- home as you finished smoothing out your outfit. She smiled once she caught sight of you coming out of your room.
"Hey, babe! This place is looking really… homey." Her smile tightened, looking around. You understood, you would definitely pick 'sterile' over 'homey,' but she was just trying to be nice.
"Well, I think I've had enough of 'homey' places for now, what do you say about getting out of here?" You gave her a grin as you turned her around. She gave in quickly, heading for the door. You double-checked the alarms and the door before meeting Mina in her hot pink car. Always on brand, she was.
She slipped big bug-eyed sunglasses on her face as she started her car. “Alright, my little turtle dove, where to now? Movies, high-calorie food, retail therapy? Pick your poison.” Even with her eyes obscured, you could still make out the arch of her eyebrow peaking over her sunglasses.
"You know, Ochako was telling me there is a month- or less- until baby Midoriya is here." Mina's squeal was all the answer you needed. Mina quickly put the car into drive, squealing out of your driveway.
"A month?! I don't even have one outfit ready for them!" Mina made it sound blasphemous. You squealed, half in laughter and half in fear as Mina sped down your street. The fall air was heated by the sun today, and you let it flow through your window. It tangled in your hair, and you felt the oppressive atmosphere of Katsuki's house release its hold on you.
The ride was full of music, wind, and off-key singing between the two of you. You almost felt like asking Mina to drive a bit longer when the mall came into view. It was easy to forget about that when Mina was grinning ear-to-ear and dragging you by the arm into the spacious building.
Going out with Mina was a breath of fresh air. You didn't have to hide, didn't have to disguise yourself. That thought clung to your mind- sure Mina wasn't quite in the top tier of heroes, but she was more than distinguishable. Mina never hid you away, though, always throwing an arm over your shoulder or hanging off of your arm even through the dense crowd of paparazzi that clamored for the hero's attention. If she was confident that she could protect you through any fallout that came from that, why wasn't Katsuki?
That line of thought was interrupted by the chirping of your phone. Mina had wandered off to one of the maps showing the layout of the shops. You were surprised that she hadn’t memorized this place as often as she was here. You focused back on your phone.
Katsuki texted much like he talked- clipped and unforgiving.
 Suki: Where are you?
You: Out with Mina.
The alarm system must have notified him when you left. You rolled your eyes, catching up to your friend as she spotted the store she wanted. You let her pull you to the specialty maternity and infant shop. You indulged her tittering as she flitted between the tiny newborn outfits on display. If you weren’t here to temper her excitement, you were sure she’d buy out half the shop. Your phone chirped again as you dissuaded her from buying either of the obviously gendered outfits, they were keeping the gender a surprise.
Suki: You went out last night and had enough fun then, judging by the booze I could smell on you.
Suki: You should be at home.
You considered ignoring the text, but you knew he wouldn’t relent until you answered him.
You: It’s not like you’re home today, why do you care if I’m out?
Suki: You’re mine. I don’t need you out embarrassing me with those extras and spending all of my money.
You swore you started seeing red. Mina had been trying to get your attention, debating between a purple checkered outfit, and adorable onesie with a smiling broccoli, or a gray ensemble with multicolored kittens on the hem. She frowned at your furrowed face and peeked over your shoulder.
With a huff, she threw the outfits in her arm, swiping your phone from your hands and typing off a quick message before tossing it back to your hands.
You: Shove it Blasty, she's fine with me, and I'm covering costs today- Mina <3
“What an ass.” She huffed. While she was his friend, she was yours too. She truly hated seeing how he treated you and had told you as much often. The two of you had talked extensively on you leaving Bakugou, and what that would entail. Every time you had gotten to that point, Katsuki would take the weekend off, showering you in praise and affection, and you wavered. And every time, you slunk back to Mina’s side, saying how you still wanted to try.
If Katsuki was trying, shouldn’t you too?
Mina tucked your phone in your back pocket before steering you to the check out counter, throwing all three outfits down. Pretty soon, the two of you were walking out of the mall, drinks in hand. You ignored the barrage of buzzing coming from your pocket, favoring the feeling of the sun on your skin and Mina ranting about your boyfriend. Fiance. He was your fiance. Was this what married life was going to be like? The gaudy ring sat heavily on your finger, and you were tempted to slip it off.
You slipped into the passenger seat as Mina started up her car. “I just don’t understand, what do you still see in him?” She whipped her eyes over to you, seething after you had conveyed the previous night’s events. “He treats you like a piece of meat, and you all but thank him for it!” You sank back into the seat with a sigh.
“It’s not like that- he’s just busy and worried. You know how hard it is to get him to be honest about his emotions.” Your excuses sounded hollow even to your ears, and if the roll of Mina’s eyes was anything to go by, hers too.
“You deserve to be with someone who shows you they care instead of keeping you locked up like some sort of trophy.” Mina’s lip curled in disgust. You quieted down, not having the energy to keep up this fight.
“Well, I’m getting out of the house now, and it’s not like he’s home long enough to stop me.” You flashed a weak grin at Mina, who returned it softly.
You arrived back home later that night. Mina waved from the driver’s seat of her car as she peeled out of your driveway. You returned her wave, standing still outside of your door. Even as her car disappeared from view, you stood, unwilling to enter the empty house.
In an attempt to delay going inside, you looked over the notifications on your phone. You swiped over Katsuki’s usual empty threats and messages of ‘we will be talking about this when I get home,’ but a new name caught your eye.
Kirishima: Hey! I hope you remember me lol
You chuckled as you recalled your interactions with the enigmatic stranger.
You: Of course! Any friend of Mina’s is a friend of mine!
You cringed inwardly at your overuse of exclamation points, but allowed the conversation to distract you as you wandered into your empty house.
Kirishima: Good to know! I was worried that you might have forgotten about me when you left the bar
You: Well you made quite the impression
Kirishima: So how do you know Mina?
You: My fiance introduced me to her, along Sero, Kaminari, and just about everyone I know
Kirishima: Who is your fiance? Sounds like I might know him
You: He’s just one of her old classmates, what I’m more interested in is you! How’d you meet Mina?
You sighed heavily as you sank into the couch cushion. Katsuki wasn’t exactly your favorite topic at the moment, and you were sure Kirishima would find out who your fiance was in time. Your spirits lifted as Kirishima took the hint and talked about how he and Mina had attended the same middle school.
The two of you texted back and forth for hours, sharing stories. You especially liked sharing stories of Kaminari's failed escapades, and in return, he shared stories of your three friends from high school. Oddly enough, you hadn't heard these stories before, and none of them included Katsuki. From what you heard, their friend group was inseparable.
You were about to ask Kirishima about it, but a shrill squeal and the angry slamming of a car door caused you to close out of the texting app. You pulled up a random social media app, not entirely understanding the urge to hide your budding friendship. Perhaps you just wanted something that Katsuki couldn't touch.
You tried to fake indifference as the front door creaked on its hinges. Your fingers trembled as you tried to focus on the pictures and mindless statuses flying by on your screen. Although you were fairly certain Katsuki wouldn’t hurt you, his rage was never something you sought out. Katsuki slapped a newspaper down on the coffee table in front of you, and you winced at the sound.
“What the everloving fuck is this?” Katsuki sneered. You peeked around your phone long enough to catch the name of the newspaper.
“Some dumb gossip paper?” You tried your best to keep the waver from your voice.
“Some dumb gossip paper with your fucking face all over it!” You put your phone down again to look more intently at the paper. It was the evening edition of a local gossip rag that few people took seriously. On the front page was a grainy black and white photo of you and Mina at the mall, Mina holding up a particularly cute and tiny onesie. The caption was bold across the top, ‘Pinky’s Pregnancy Revealed!’
"Okay, so what? Some dumb paper got a dumb lead, and I'm in a picture with my friend. The world is ending." An unusual feeling of exasperation surged through you. The ping of your phone echoed off of the sterile walls, and you quickly slid the notification off of your screen.
Katsuki glared at your phone, silently debating between demanding to know who was messaging you and ranting about your photo. “So what? Do you know how fucking hard it is to keep your shitty face out of the tabloids?”
“Would it really be so bad? The world knowing what your future wife looks like?” You bit back. It wasn’t often you fought back against Katsuki, but this thought had been bouncing around your head all day. “Mina’s not too worried about being seen with me.”
Katsuki rolled his eyes so hard you were surprised his head didn’t follow. You were already over this little outburst of his, so you opened up the camera on your phone and snapped a picture of the newspaper in front of you. “Racoon Eyes isn’t a fucking top hero!” Mina’s contact was opened on your phone as you sent the picture, tuning out the remainder of Bakugou’s rant.
You: Congrats on the bundle of joy
Mina: Omgg babe, I'm so happy, you're the baby daddy, right?
You: Of course, time for a shotgun wedding
Mina’s response brought a chuckle from you, breaking what little composure Katsuki had. Small pops exploded from his hands as he turned back to the door. A string of curses followed him out as he slammed the door behind him, shaking the foundation. A breath you hadn’t been aware you were holding slipped from your lips. You needed a drink.
The cursor blinked back at you as you debated on inviting Mina out again today. Guilt and loneliness bubbled at the back of your throat, you were worried you were becoming too clingy to your few friends. If you lost Mina or Ochako now, what would you really have left? A tenuous relationship, a degree that was nothing more than a scrap of paper, and an empty house. A shake of your head cleared those suffocating thoughts, and you closed out of Mina's contact. Kirishima's sat underneath it, bold with the ignored message from earlier.
 Kirishima: Wanna grab a drink?
 Fuck it.

Word count: 1.8k
Bingo slot: Fireflies
Pairings: None (Sibling bonding! Touya x Reader)
Tags/Warnings: Fluff, slight angst, slight mention of injuries.
Synopsis: Touya takes his little sister on an adventure to see the "fairies".
This is my first entry for @bnhabookclub's bingo event! Special thanks to @pixxiesdust, @honeytama and @samanthaa-leanne for beta reading this for me!
There are things Touya dislikes in the world. But if there's something he absolutely despises with a strength nearly as powerful as his flames, is when his father's actions end up hurting someone in his family.
Like right now, for example, as he holds his crying sister in his arms. Poor little Y/N can't seem to stop weeping after the constant mistreatment of their father. The man's harsh attitude eventually took a toll on the little girl. All because she turned out to be quirkless, or as he deems her, "Just another failure".
Touya's glaring at nothing in particular as he thinks about the old man. His self-restraint is challenged when he has to hold back the anger to evade lashing out at the man they have the misfortune of calling "father."
But right now, his main focus is calming down the little girl, crying in his arms while he's sitting on his futon at the same time he tries to console her.
"Shhh, It's okay y/n."
He may not admit it, but out of all his siblings, she has to be his favorite sister. After all, she's the only one out of their brothers and sister who shares the most traits with him.
Growing up, Touya came to despise his appearance. Every time he looked at his reflection in the mirror, the sight of that crimson hair and those teal colored eyes always made him feel alienated from Natsuo and Fuyumi.
After all, they only had some slight streaks of red hair, unlike Touya, who's whole head sported the same red locks of hair as him.
So, when his mother gave birth to a healthy pair of twins, and he saw the little boy who's left side of his head had the same hair color as him, as well as the little girl, who's hair was completely engulfed in the same shade of red as him. Touya almost wanted to cry in the spot, and that loneliness in his heart stopped soon after that.
He actually cried, but if you ask him, he'll always say otherwise.
His eyes wander around his room in search of a distraction, and something catches Touya's attention. The calendar at the top of his desk, with the current date circled down in a fine line of bright red marker. It gives the teenager a great idea, one, that would most likely calm down his little sister instantly.
"Hey, Y/N." She sniffs weakly, wiping away the teardrops rolling down her face with her tiny hand, before looking up at her big brother. "Did you know that there's a place nearby, where you can see fairies?"
As soon as he mentions the magical creatures, her eyes instantly light up, wide open in wonder as she looks at him with pure innocence in her eyes.
"Really?" she asks her brother, who smiles in relief upon seeing her reaction. Touya nods eagerly, playing along to distract her from the past events.
"Yes! But they only appear if you're a strong person! Are you strong, y/n?" He pokes her in the nose with his index finger, and she can't help closing her eyes in surprise. Squeals erupt from her throat by her brother's antics, and he struggles to fight back a chuckle.
"I am strong!" she shouts, still rubbing the small tears away from her puffy face.
"Strong enough to stop crying?" he asks her with vigor, and his attempts to cheer her up work when she sniffles one more time, before nodding at him with a fierce pout, the sight nearly makes Touya clutch his heart, amused by the little rascal pretending to be brave.
"Yeah!"
"Good! Then go get ready, 'cause I'm taking you to see the fairies!"
She gasps loudly, nodding rapidly at her brother before dashing out of his room with hurried steps, and once the sound of her footsteps disappear in the distance, Touya lets out a relieved sigh, before bursting into a wholehearted laugh at her enthusiasm.
He stands up from his futon in a hurry, and begins preparing everything he'll need for their small trip.
......
"Are we there yet?"
In one hand, Touya holds on to his sister's tiny hand as they walk together. In the other hand, he's holding the strap of a messenger bag hanging over his shoulder, careful not to graze the bandages wrapped all the way up from the wrist to the shoulder.
"Patience y/n, we're almost there."
The sunset fills the surroundings in gorgeous hues of pinks and purples, and if it wasn't for his current motivation, Touya would have stopped in the middle of the bridge to stare at the bright, glimmering reflection in the water for hours.
"Give me a minute, y/n." Rummaging through his bag, Touya pulls out a camera. He starts taking pictures of the sunset reflecting in the water below the bridge, capturing the aesthetically pleasing scenario before him. He takes a look at the final result, and after humming in approval, he puts the camera back into his bag, before taking his sister’s hand to continue walking.
The closer they get to their destination, the sky begins to change colors again, until nothing but blue shades fill the sky.
"Here we are!" Touya stopped in front of a small, empty playground, and y/n quickly began looking around, waiting for the "fairies" to come out any moment now. This time, her brother couldn't hold back his laughter.
"This is only the gateway, come on. The fairies are waiting."
At the other side of the playground, there's a small trail leading into a forest. Touya takes her sister along with him along the rows of trees, and the deeper they go, the darker it seems to get around them.
Until Touya finds the place he was looking for, a small lake deep inside the forest, surrounded by bushes and lilies all around it.
"Isn't it pretty y/n?" he asks his little sister, who won't stop looking at her surroundings, admiring the scenario before her. Right as she's about to question her brother, the teenager crouches down in front of her, and points at a spot in front of them.
That's when she sees the small dots of light start to appear all around the forest, illuminating everything around them with their gentle light.
"Look, the fairies are here!"
But the little girl becomes awfully quiet, and for a minute Touya begins to worry. Until she turns to look at him with the most awestruck look he's ever seen on her tiny face, and starts pointing at the shining creatures flying cheerfully all around them.
"F-Fairies are real! Touya, they're real!"
She's already running off to look at a spot in the grass, where these fairies seem to be having a good time.
While y/n is distracted by the fairies, Touya sits down on the grass, watching the lake's surface where the lights seem to dance happily.
"Touya look!" She quickly approaches her brother, and in her tiny hands, there's a small light in her palm,  without a single worry in their miniature soul.
"I guess the fairies like you. Do you know what that means?"
She tilts her head in curiosity, before shaking it softly.
"It means you're one of them now!" Touya yells excitedly, and that brings a bright smile to the face of the little girl standing in front of him.
"I'm a fairy?!" She bounces on her spot, careful not to hurt her little friend resting in the palms of her hands.
"Even better than a fairy." He ruffles her hair reassuringly, turning her hair into a wild mess of red locks. "You're a firefly!"
"Firefly?" She looks back at the little bug, sitting nonchalantly in its place, before looking back at her brother, smiling at him one more time. "I'm a firefly!"
She happily runs back to the bushes, where she releases her friend back in place. More lights begin surrounding the lake. And Touya smiles at the child's antics before he starts looking through his bag again, and pulls out his camera before taking pictures all over the place.
y/n is too distracted by another handful of fireflies, to notice her brother taking a picture of her. As he looks at the final result, the small screen displays the current hour, and Touya can't help wincing once he realizes they've been in the lake for a longer time than he thought.
A small, contagious yawn catches his attention, and he watches as y/n it's starting to doze off.
"Come on firefly, it's time to go back home." Touya puts the camera back in his bag, before helping his sister crawl on his back. Her tired eyes look back at the lake, and the small dots of light still dancing around eagerly.
"Hey, Touya?" She's struggling to fight back her drowsiness, and manages to ask her brother a question before her eyes begin to close, and she slowly falls asleep on his shoulder.
"Yeah?"
"Can we...Can we bring Shouto along next time?"
Touya can't help but grimace, knowing that with their father around, it would be impossible to take their little brother along, but he doesn't have the courage to tell y/n the truth, and with a deep breath, he answers.
"...Of course we can."
As Touya passes by the same bridge from before, he can feel his sister's body go limp on his back, sleep overtaking her tiny body. But even with the slight pain coursing through his bandaged arm, he can't bring himself to move her from the place. At least, not until they're finally back home.
The house is dead silent once he comes inside, and with a careful pace, he takes y/n to her room. Tucking her into the futon before walking back to his own room, where he pulls the camera out of his bag and on top of a shelf, and lets himself faceplant on his own bed with a slight bounce.
..........
"Come on Shouto, this way!" Shouto tries to keep up with his sister, but she just keeps walking with an excited spring on her step as she guides him through the forest, eager to take him to this place she's been talking about for weeks now.
"Are you sure we should be out here this late?" He can't help being amused by her enthusiasm. This is the first time he's seen her this excited after they started spending more time with each other.
"It's fine, trust me!" She stops in her steps before turning to both sides of the forest, and with a triumphant "aha!" she starts walking to the right side of the forest.
"I used to come here with Touya, and I've always wanted to show you this place! You're going to love it, trust me!"

black tie occasion (and other little things that make you fall in love)
Tumblr media
prompt: slow dancing
bakugou katsuki x reader
rule number one of proms: there’s always a balcony
Dedicated to @heroinepose - finally, a good bakugou fic
Thanks to @add-a-teaspoon-of-heroism for giving the idea of a suit. Nish, your mind-
Thank you to @samanthaa-leanne for beta’ing for me!!
Bakugou Katsuki wasn’t much of a smiler, YN had concluded.
Sure, he smiled, but it was more the kind of smile that brought a chill into your bones, especially if you were at the receiving end of it. There were smiles that he had around his friends, but they were still guarded, still angry.
YN had made it her goal to see Bakugou smile, for real.
Truthfully speaking, she hadn’t known Bakugou for very long. She entered Class 1-B and saw him in intermediate periods. He was growly and big and angry, and yet, YN found him endearing. It went without saying that most of her class was confused, but YN let them stay confused. She went with what her heart said, and her heart said that the bundle of rage was more than he let on.
“A prom? What the hell?”
Speak of the devil.
YN paused mid-step from the lunchroom to glance over at the spiky blonde. Surrounding him was his posse, all powerful quirk users in their own rights. The red-haired one, Kirishima, patted Bakugou on the back.
“Wow! A real prom!” She giggled, linking arms with Mina.
“Don’t sweat it, bro! We can get some cute dates, have a nice night, and get some good food!”
“Aren’t proms an American thing…?” Sero murmured. “Why now?”
“I know!” Seemingly out of nowhere, Midoriya Izuku popped up with a nervous grin. His own group of friends were close by, and Ochako skipped to the info board with a smile.
“It’s to create a sense of unity. It’s for all the classes in the first year, and since there’s such a rivalry between the classes, Principal Nezu wanted everyone to have an evening together!” Midoriya listed it off like he was a dictionary, and YN titled her head.
“Something the matter?”
Shinsou’s voice came directly behind YN and she jumped with a squeak. Several heads turned (though not Bakugou’s notably) at her cry, and Shinsou chuckled.
“You looking at the board?” He hummed, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. The strap of her bag was jostled. “Or at Bakugou?”
“None of the above,” YN huffed, turning away. “I was looking at the expanse between time and space.”
“What the hell?” His nose scrunched up a little, watching her walk away with sass. He shook his head before glancing over at Bakugou, who was absorbed in berating Kaminari over something. His eyes flicked from him to YN, who was nearly skipping down the hall. Shinsou placed his hands in his pockets.
“Huh.”
The next month has filled with a buzz, between students asking each other out and someone actually asking Midnight if she could be their date. It was a month of pure giddiness.
Except for YN.
No matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t get the courage to ask Bakugou to the dance. She knew several other people had asked him and he had turned all of them down, spitting insults the entire way. With every rejection, fear crawled into her heart.
“Where’s all that lion-heart gusto?” Shinso told her on the Monday before the prom. “Weren’t you raring to go?”
“Oh, you hush.” YN sat at her usual lunch table, watching the rabid blonde growl and bark at his friends about something.
“Personally, I’m kinda glad.”
YN sat upright almost immediately, fury on her face. “What the hell is that supposed to mean?”
Shinsou laid back with his arms behind his head, staring up at the ceiling. He hummed. “I wanted to ask you. You’re my only girl friend, after all.”
YN’s brow went from furrowed to upturned, eyes wide and cheeks pink.
“Shinsou, you bastard. I thought you were saying that Bakugou and I weren’t a good fit!”
“You aren’t. He’s prideful. You’re calm.”
“Those two aren’t opposites!”
From across the room, Bakugou stopped yelling at Denki and watched YN playfully smack Shinsou’s shoulder. His eyes narrowed.
“Bro…” Kirishima whispered. “She isn’t gonna make the first move.”
“Shut the fuck up!” He barked, looking as though the whites of his eyes had dominated his entire demeanour.
“Ha!” Mina tittered. She leaned back with a wide smile. “The mighty Katsuki Bakugou, whipped like a little bitch.”
“I am not a little bitch!”
In the days leading up to the prom, YN was nervous.
She didn’t think she should’ve, considering she nailed a date with Shinsou (or, rather, he nailed a date with her) so all she had to do was get an outfit ready.
Unfortunately, her classmates weren’t much help.
She walked over a bit timidly, peeking past YN’s shoulder. “O-Oh!” She gasped. “It’s very pretty…!”
“Wear something sexy!” Setsuna cheered, holding up a short purple dress. “You’d look fine as hell in this!”
“No…” Ibara frowned, placing her hands together. “She must wear something modest that respects the Lord.”
“Wait!” Kendo gasped, holding two dresses that had already been rejected. “YN! What do you want to wear?”
“I dunno…” YN murmured, picking up the skirt a white dress that had apple accents on them. “Pony, you might like this one.”
YN pulled it off the rack and handed it to Pony, pointing to the changing room with a grin. “Go, and we see if you like it!”
“Mm!” She nodded. There was something unspoken about it, but Yui looked as though she wanted YN’s thoughts.
She trotted off happily and Yui walked up. She was holding a mid-length black dress.
“Do you like this one, Yui?” YN tilted her head.
“I think you’d look cute! Here, I’ll help the other girls pick something out, and we can have a mini runway show.”
“MM!” Yui smiled and skipped away. YN began picking at dresses to give to the others, walking from the rack when something in the clearance aisle caught her eye.
“Huh?”
“Yeah!” Kendo pulled off a crisp shirt that vaguely reminded YN of a mobster. “Why?”
She picked out a suit jacket, noting the orange hints with the pocket and cuff. She tilted her head and hummed.
“Oy!” She turned, looking at Kendo. “Do they have dress shirts over there?”
YN shrugged, hiding the jacket underneath some of the dresses. She walked over to Kendo and handed off a sporty blue dress, smiling. “Can you put the shirt on top?”
Kendo obliged, walking into a changing room. More dresses were passed around with the girls until everyone had something. Sassy compliments were thrown around (except for when Ibara dragged Setsuna for wearing something that clung to her).
YN sighed happily, running a thumb over the orange fabric. It reminded her of Bakugou, and she felt terrible for putting a guy she wasn’t even going with over matching with Shinsou, but…
She blushed, smiling.
“You look happy,” Komori leaned over YN’s shoulder. “Did you find something you like?”
“Yeah.” YN held up the suit jacket. “This. I don’t know if they have pants here, but I can make it work.”
YN paused in the changing room, still holding the shirt, pants, and jacket to her chest. She looked down and bit her lip a bit. She was going with Shinsou, and though she never even asked Bakugou, there was still a part of her that was convinced that she had a chance with Bakugou.
“Ooh!” Setsuna jumped a bit and ran off, leaving YN and Komori in the dust. Both looked confused until Setsuna ran back with loose black slacks. “Here! Try this!”
“It’s modest.” Ibara murmured. “And you would look good.” Even Pony stepped out and cheered YN on about the suit. Setsuna gently pushed YN into the changing room with a grin.
“Go on, girl! Work it!”
“Are you okay?” Komori’s voice leaked from the other side of the door. YN jumped a bit.
“Uh, yeah!” YN changed as fast as she could, tripping over herself in an effort to get into the pants. “Just a second.”
“Hot damn.” Setsuna whispered, eyeing YN up and down. “You look good.”
Once she adjusted the pants, she opened the door and stepped out, albeit ungracefully. The girls stopped talking immediately, staring. YN felt an embarrassed flush crawl under her skin.
“Hey, uh, I’ll pick something different out, gimmie a second-”
“Yeah!” Kendo cheered. “It really suits you!”
“Was that a pun?” YN gave Kendo a look.
“Get it!” Komori grinned. “Bakugou’ll drop dead!”
There were collective laughs and YN flushed.
“Ay!” YN rushed forward to mock-wack Setsuna and they took off across the store. Kendo watched them with a laugh as YN easily outran Setsuna, thanks to the pants.
“But I’m not-!”
“And?” Setsuna shrugged. “You’ll still see him.”
“Stop running.” Ibara frowned.
“Get over here!” Kendo took off after YN, and YN watched her go after Setsuna. She paused and panted a bit, grinning.
This weekend was going to be good.
At five-thirty on Saturday, YN stood next to Shinsou, standing outside the U.A. hall. There were scattered blue and yellow balloons on the ground from an arch over the door. Lights lit up the path to the door in an attempt to set a mood, but it seemed tackier than anything. There were flower petals, too, and YN wondered if maybe one of the more sentimental teachers was hoping to make it romantic. Other students lingered, too, talking quietly.
“Should we go in?” YN turned to Shinsou, wearing the white corsage he gave her in her pocket. He, too, wore a suit and had his corsage in the same style, but he was shorter than her and had to look up.
“Sure.” He shrugged. He didn’t seem to know what to do with his hands but settled for shoving them in his pockets. Part of YN felt guilty for the awkwardness, but accepted it and wrapped her arm over his shoulder.
“Then let’s go.” They walked down the path and she opened the doors, letting Shinsou go before her. The entire hall was dimly lit, with more blue and yellow balloons than necessary and a DJ at the back of the room, but YN supposed that it was some of the teachers just getting too excited with the idea of prom.
She saw Kendo wrangling Monoma by the punch bowl and Midoriya Izuku talking with Todoroki Shoto. They both nodded in Shinsou’s direction, and he nodded back, but turned to you.
“Alright. Where is he?”
“Huh?” YN stared at Shinsou dumbly. “What are you talking about?”
“Bakugou.” Shinsou looked both unamused and ready to laugh. “Do you see him?”
YN flushed and looked around. He was nowhere to be found just from glancing alone, and YN shrugged.
“I don’t see him. He might not have come.” A part of YN hoped he did, even if it was just to see him in a suit. She continued looking.
“Hm.” Shinsou huffed. “Fine then. Guess I’ll have to take matters into my own hands.”
Before YN could ask what he meant, Shinsou disappeared into the crowd around them. YN could’ve sworn she saw a pair of pink arms pulling purple away, but before she could check, she got swept into the tide of newly arriving students. It was like swimming upstream, and she decided to just let herself be carried away.
Sorry, Shinsou, but I’ve got a plan.
She ended up shifting towards a more open area, facing out towards the main road and seeing several sappy teenagers make out with one another.
And there, at the edge of the balcony sat Bakugou Katsuki. The man of YN’s hour, if you will. She stared at him timidly, for a moment, before tilting her head.
Bakugou Katsuki swore up and down that he hated parties.
He went to bed strictly by nine, avoided alcohol if he could help it, and stayed away from questionable crowds.
So, why the fuck was he tipsy at eleven at night while Caramelldansen blasted over the speakers?
The answer was that Mina had dragged him to the school’s prom. He didn’t want to go, not after the mess that was him chickening out on asking YN. But the acid-user donned him in a suit with hints of orange and walked he through the doors. But around the time that they started playing Lil Jon’s Get Low, drink after drink was offered to the oh-so-famous winner of the sports festival and that one kid that got kidnapped, right?, and Bakugou accepted one, if only to get the crowd to shut up and leave him alone. But the drink was vaguely sweet, with hints of pink lemonade, and when he was offered another he was less adamant in rejecting them. He didn’t even know who even snuck in the drinks; just that they long left him for better horizons and consenting partners.
If Bakugou was being honest, then he didn’t like being tipsy. He wasn’t drunk enough to enjoy the feeling or do anything out of his comfort zone, but just inebriated enough that his balance was off, his sight felt a little bit weird, and it felt like everyone was talking about All Might.
He couldn’t tell if the lights were red or brown anymore, and he’d lost sight of Mina, when he heard someone gossip.
“I heard that the Bakugou dude...he’s why All Might retired, and he doesn’t even have a good attitude.”
It probably wasn’t meant for him to hear, or even exactly what he heard, but it felt like it was whispered directly into his ear. Shame flooded through Bakugou, and he felt every set of eyes in the room fall on him. His breath caught in his throat, and the lights blurred, and he waded through the sea of people, hoping to get just a second’s reprieve. He never thought he deserved it, but he still pursued it. Maybe that was how one could explain Bakugou; searching for what he never felt he deserved.
He stumbled onto a balcony, nearly shoving over two teenagers that were making out before clutching the balcony rail. The world spun, despite just how little alcohol he had, and he felt as though it was all closing in.
“Water?”
“Water?” She repeated again. “You look like you need it.”
Bakugou’s eyes snapped open, and he shot the nastiest glare he could muster at who spoke. It fell almost immediately when he realised who it was.
YN stood there with kind e/c eyes and eyeliner that could cut him. She had a red solo cup in her hand. She held it out to him but kept her distance like he was a feral dog.
Bakugou said nothing but turned all the way, choosing to remain cautious. Despite the bitter bile in the back of his throat, he hesitated.
“Why?” He croaked out and hated just how torn his voice sounded.
“Because you’ve been drinking” She extended the cup to him a bit more with a guarded smile. “And, you look like you need someone to listen.”
Bakugou’s face flushed angrily and a white-hot rage rushed through him.
“I don’t need a fucking therapist! Get out of my fucking face with that shit!” He snatched the cup out of her hand and she didn’t so much as flinch.
“You were crying.” Her smile fell, and if Bakugou wasn’t tipsy and angry, then he would have sworn that concern flashed through her eyes. Bakugou took a quick but hefty gulp of the water, feeling it go down his throat with subdued satisfaction before rearing back to yell at her more. Before he could, though, she raised her hand to his cheek. Her fingers were deathly cold, like what a corpse might feel like, but they were gone before he could complain about it. She held her fingers up to the swirling lights, and every time a strobe hit her hand, Bakugou could see the glistening of something wet on her fingers. Her eyes held something like pity, but it wasn't pity for him. It was just indomitable sadness.
She turned and began leaving as Bakugou stood there in shock. He didn’t feel himself crying or the typical runny nose, just the cold and sudden terror of loneliness. It carved him out like a pumpkin, and before he realised that he was moving, he had grabbed YN’s wrist. She glanced back in surprise, but it faded into a gentle look that, had it been any other person, would have made them melt.  Bakugou stared between her wrist and her face, glancing up and down and back again in confusion before ripping his hand away. He held it like it had been burned, with a flushed face and blank confusion.
“Sorry,” He grumbled, letting his hand hang down again. YN didn’t leave but she was still turned. Bakugou could only stare as the lights backlit her, like a bomb, and there was a glint in her eyes that was neither pity nor judgement, but indomitable sadness. There was an oozing silence, until she tilted her head. For just a moment, he felt like he was being dissected by her eyes, scrutinised like roadkill, before the sadness returned.
“And they fuckin’ say it’s not my fault, but All Might would’ve never had to retire if I had just been strong enough!”
“Wanna talk?”
Somehow, be it the little alcohol in his system or the fact that YN just seemed so warm, he had begun spilling all his fears and burdens to her. She never spoke, besides the occasional hum of confirmation, but occasionally rubbed his back when he choked up. She would whip out tissues sometimes, but overall, she listened perfectly.
“I know that just being told that it isn’t your fault doesn’t help.” The girl murmured, staring through the short pillars of the balcony, taking a deep breath before continuing. “But I think it was a good thing that All Might retired.”
Bakugou felt his heart leap into his throat with rage, but before he could rip her apart, she side-eyed him and took another sigh.
“Don’t get me wrong. He did great work. But...he was in pain the entire time. Could you imagine the toll? Physically and mentally? That the world was on your shoulders, and you were slowly dying, but you weren’t able to just...stop.” She sighed for a third time, and for a moment, Bakugou wondered if she knew exactly what All Might felt like, with the stars in her eyes and sorrow on her shoulders. “His retirement would have happened eventually. You spared him months, maybe even years, of pain and torment. He went out, and nobody can ask him to come back, and now he can kick back and let someone else take over. And I think he deserves it. To be able to finally rest.”
Bakugou stared for what felt like the upteenth time that night, before feeling something else tense in his heart. It was like a knot had been wrapped around it, unbreakable and tight. But with only a minute, a girl that he only ever watched from a distance, at a party he never meant to attend, had undone it completely. It snapped, and if he thought about it enough, he could almost feel the cord hitting his ribcage and coming to rest on his kidney.
YN gave a teasing grin on his subdued, awestruck look, and hummed. She rose with a groan, stretching her arms in front of her with a yawn.
“There you have it. That’s just my opinion, anyway. You don’t have to take it.” Someone called out, and Bakugou couldn’t quite hear it, but YN turned. She waved, and then looked back at Bakugou. “Take care of yourself. Don’t let them get to you.”
She turned to leave, and she felt like this incomprehensible force that made everyone else move like the tide, or the Red Sea. Softer, kinder music leaked through from the dance floor, and he shot up.
“W-Wait!”
It was a demand and a question all wrapped in one and YN snorted, nodding.
YN stopped and turned with a tilt of her head. “Yeah?”
“Fucking-!” He was choking on his words, trying to literally grasp them from the air. “Fuckng dance with me!”
“Sure.”
She walked back to them and some of the other students left the balcony, abandoning them. Bakugou’s hands felt sweaty and he wiped them on his pants, heart pounding in his ears.
“D-D’ya know how to waltz?!” He barked, eyes flickering from nervousness.
“Yeah.” YN nodded. “I can lead.”
And she did, spinning Bakugou around under the stars in a moment that felt untouchable. Bakugou looked at her, and she looked at him, and at once, he felt at ease. Everything melted off of him for five minutes and fifty-two seconds, with her hands on his hip and holding him just tight enough that he knew she was real. The stars glittered in her eyes, and the breeze was warm and cool and perfect.
“I love you,” He whispered with wide eyes. She didn’t so much as flinch, pulling down into an Eskimo kiss.
“I love you, too.”

Fandom: My Hero Academia
Pairing: Tamaki Amajiki x Reader
[ Alright this is my second piece for the Hero Bingo Event hosted by @bnhabookclub. The theme was Chaste Kisses, I decided to do headcanons. So I hope you all enjoy! ]
Tumblr media
You and Mirio had been friends since you were small, you had a close connection and though you had different paths you wanted to take. Mirio wanted to be a hero and you, well you had no interest in such a career. Still, Mirio respected your decision and you supported him through everything. However, you weren’t the only friend that Mirio held dear. You remembered when you first met Tamaki Amajiki, you could tell from the start he was shy and anxious. But somehow, you found him adorable. Especially the way he’d stutter while trying to talk to you.
You quickly found out that Tamaki was a stranger to affection, the first time you hugged him and kissed his cheek. His face lit up a bright red color and he stepped away from you. His body was trembling and his attention was focused on the floor. At first, you thought you had done something wrong, but you quickly connected the dots. It was because of the kiss and it became your personal goal to make Tamaki as flustered as possible.
The day Mirio and Tamaki were supposed to take the U.A. entrance exam, you had asked Tamaki to meet you beforehand. “U-Uh...you...you w-wanted to see m-me, Y/n?” you smirked and approached the shy boy, who looked overly nervous. You knew this was a lot of pressure on him and you hoped to ease it. “Yes, I wanted to do this,” you said before wrapping your arms around his waist. He gasped and you felt him shiver, his face was red and even after all this time. He was still so nervous when it came to affection.
The next thing you did took him by surprise, you kept your arms around his waist and leaned up. Brushing your lips against the side of his neck and his eyes went wide, “U-Uh...Y-Y/n, w-what are you d-doing?” he shyly demanded and you chuckled at his tone, it was adorable. “Shh,” you said before pressing a kiss to his neck which caused his face to light up. “Good luck out there. Don’t let me down,” you said as you took his hands and squeezed them gently. He swallowed and nodded, “Uh y-yeah…” he said before Mirio called him over. You watched as he walked away, God you hoped he’d pass.
Of course, though the entrance exam was hard. Tamaki and Mirio ended up passing, but you were there when Tamaki had gotten the letter and he was too nervous to open it. You smiled and took his hand, placing a gentle kiss to his knuckles and slowly kissed each one of his fingers. Tamaki’s eyes widened as he watched you do this and once more, his cheeks were painted red. “Uh...um...I…” he had tried to say something but you grabbed the letter and handed it to him. Encouraging him to open it, you nearly screamed when the projected video announced that Tamaki was about to start his first year at U.A.
Despite the fact that you were going to a separate school. Tamaki still made an effort to spend time with you. Whether it was going to the mall, park, or just hanging out at home. You enjoyed your time with Tamaki, but you were unaware of his feelings toward you. But one day, Tamaki had insisted you come over to his apartment because his parents were out. You thought nothing of it and you two ended up watching a movie together. Tamaki seemed more nervous than usual and you noticed he continued to look at you while you tried to focus on the television.
“Um...Y-Y/n?” he asked and you let out a sigh before turning to look at him, you wanted to know why he was staring at you during the movie. But your thoughts escaped you as he reached over to grab your hand. You felt your heart accelerate when he pressed your hand to his chest, “Uh...I...I j-just wanted to s-say...I r-really like spending t-time with you and um, d-do you think...m-maybe we c-could...t-try going o-out?” he questioned and at first, you were confused, Tamaki was asking you out?
You ended up saying yes, though you weren’t sure of your own feelings for Tamaki. After he popped the question which more than likely took a lot of bravery, he had leaned over and hesitantly pressed a kiss to your cheek. Though it was short-lived and you felt a small amount of saliva drip down. He might be a messy kisser, but you were blushing regardless. That was the first time Tamaki had made a move on you and honestly, you were looking forward to more.
Though you underestimated just how impatient you could get and while your first few dates with Tamaki were innocent. One day he offered to take you to the ramen stand and shyly pecked your lips after you were done with your meal. He commented on how you tasted like takoyaki which was one of his favorite treats. After which he suggested you go to his apartment and once more, you ended up sitting on the couch watching television.
You were a little disappointed as this was something you had done with Tamaki even when you were still friends. So you decided to make it a little more exciting and proceeded to climb onto Tamaki’s lap, “B-Bunny!?” he exclaimed, his cheeks were deep red but you only smirked as you placed your hands on his shoulders and leaned over, “Ah…” he trembled when he felt your hot breath on his ear before your lips began their assault. You pressed a kiss to his cheek before slowly pressing a line of kisses up to the sensitive tip that made up the end of his ear.
He didn’t entirely trust you after that but at the same time. He felt as though you were doing most of the work in the relationship. Not that you necessarily had a problem with that, but he wanted the chance to make you feel special as well. One day when you were laying on top of his chest, your arms loosely wrapped around his neck and his hands were placed on the middle of your back.
“Bunny?” he said, “Hm?” you lifted your head and Tamaki swallowed before speaking, “C-Can you...c-come closer?” you were a little confused by his words, but shrugged and lifted yourself up. Hovering over Tamaki as he requested, you leaned down. Smiling as you looked into his eyes, “Yes?” you questioned and felt his hands tighten around your waist before he did something unexpected. You gasped when he peppered kisses along your collarbones, you hated to admit how much that excited you.
You knew Tamaki’s work-study involved him working under the supervision of Fat Gum and you also knew that there was a chance that he could get hurt. Though you had enough confidence in him and you knew he was a wonderful hero. As good as a pro. But the day he got injured on a rescue mission. You nearly cried when you saw him lying in the hospital bed, half of his face was bandaged up as well as his chest. But he still smiled when he saw you. “Hi...b-bunny,” he said and you offered to take care of him until he was discharged.
Of course, you had some fun with it. Though most of his upper body was wrapped up, his bottom half remained with a few bandaids and one morning you noticed he was shifting in his bed. “Is something wrong?” you asked, and Tamaki turned his head to the side. “U-Uh...my a-ankle...hurts. I g-guess...it’s s-still healing.” more than likely he had twisted it during combat, but you didn’t hesitate to kiss it and began to massage the sore area.
Of course, he returned your kind actions one day when you ended up tripping over your own feet during a date. It was summer and you had decided to wear open-toed shoes. You were a little too excited when you spotted an ice cream stand and convinced Tamaki that you could share a cone. You had tried to run but ended up tripping over the sidewalk which resulted in you getting a cut on your foot. Tamaki carried you back to his apartment and patched you up. The last thing he did was kiss the top of your foot, which made you blush. “F-Feeling better?” he questioned and you could only nod as it seemed your voice was frozen in your throat.
Throughout your few years of dating Tamaki, no moment made you prouder than when you got to see him graduate from U.A. you were standing among his family members who you were relieved approved of you dating their son. After the ceremony took place, you couldn’t resist running up to him. You pulled him close for a hug before pressing a kiss to his lips. He was a little embarrassed that you kissed him in front of his family, but in the end. Not only was he happy he had successfully graduated with his friends, but that he had a wonderful future to look forward to with you.

Do u remember when bakugou said “If u want me to listen then get your knees and beg.” Imagine todoroki, deku and bakugou’s crush saying that to a villain during a fight.
oh my GOOOOOD that audio haunts me honestly, those three would have Very Different reactions to me
bakugo would live for that shit the most by far. if you're his crush he's gotta have mad respect for you and the way you fight since that's something he takes great pride in. right as the fight came to an end he'd have the biggest smirk on his face as he basically just got to watch you at your fullest potential against a villain. you KNOW he's boutta come over and whisper in your ear about how good he thinks you sounded saying something like that and how he'd want to hear it again. for some reason hearing you say that gives him such an ego boost, but with the promises he makes you to about it you can only overlook it.
midoriya is the most embarrassed but also the most empowered by what you say, no question. he takes it seriously in the moment since there's obviously a fight going on. but once it ends and he rethinks what you said he's absolutely red in the face. in fact you have to go over to him to make sure he'd good as if you weren't the one apprehending a criminal two seconds prior. will insist that he's fine, but something like that is bound to stick in his head for a while. also worries for you so makes sure to check you over, this at the same time doing nothing for his face that's now completely flushed red.
todoroki if there's a fight with a villain is way too caught up to be paying attention. he gets very in the zone and obviously wants everything to be over quickly. your yelling is what snaps him out of it and he can't help but gawk at you a little at your lack of fear. he knows you can hold your own so focuses on tasks elsewhere but keeps close enough so that he's there if you need him. after it's all over he praises you for how well you did, but silly boy asks why you'd do something like that for a villain - needing you to explain that was the whole point. he's a little embarrassed after he catches on, but can't help but wonder why he liked hearing you say it so much. he'd worry over you as well especially since you were alone, checking you over while the moment plays over in his head.

I don't think tomurasprincess is going to be following Morgan anymore. Given how close they are to Jo, Lemonlord-Leah, and other Harem members? Pretty sure Morgan was dropped stone cold.
We will send her a message just to check her stance on things but we are hopeful she is safe to follow
Plus it’s good to see people actually distancing themselves from a liar, plagiarist, thief, manipulator, abusive person. Too many people in bookclub still support those things and it’s wrong

All I want is you
Tumblr media
A/N: This was for @bnhabookclub ! My first collab with them, and hopefully not my last! (also this was rough to write, ngl)
Prompt: “All I want is you”
Warnings: Sexual reference at the end.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were awoken to rocks hitting your window. Stifling a yawn, you got out of bed and looked out. “What the hell? Katsuki?”
Looking down, you saw your boyfriend holding a guitar and a very questionable pile of rocks next to him.
“Listen. Jus-Just shut up! Don’t say anything okay?”
“It’s 2:30 in the morning wh-” “Just listen!” His face was growing redder by the minute. Clearing his throat, Bakugou started singing.
“If I was a flower growing wild and free
All I'd want is you to be my sweet honey bee.
And if I was a tree growing tall and green
All I'd want is you to shade me and be my leaves.”
Honestly? His voice wasn’t that great, but you loved it. You hummed along, recognizing it almost instantly.
“If I was a flower growing wild and free
All I'd want is you to be my sweet honey bee.
And if I was a tree growing tall and green
All I'd want is you to shade me and be my leaves.” His voice carried out throughout the dorms, but he didn’t seem to care.
“All I want is you, will you be my bride
Take me by the hand and stand by my side
All I want is you, will you stay with me?
Hold me in your arms and sway me like a sea.”
Suddenly, the world seemed to be alight in colors. Flower petals fell from the sky. Your eyes roamed over everything, just taking it in. Bakugo’s eyes were only on you though.  Your smile lit up his word, no matter how embarrassing this was to him.
“If you were a river in the mountains tall,
The rumble of your water would be my call.
If you were the winter, I know I'd be the snow
Just as long as you were with me, let the cold winds blow.”
“All I want is you, will you be my bride
Take me by the hand and stand by my side
All I want is you, will you stay with me?
Hold me in your arms and sway me like a sea.”
Your voice echoed across the dorms, joining Bakugo. He let go of the guitar, letting it rest on his shoulders.
“Listen. I-I know I’m not the best boyfriend ever. But I wanted to do this to show how much you mean to me. Or something.” His face was beet red. He lifted his hand to find flowers on top of his hair. He blew them away. “Damn it! I told them not to aim for me!”
“Bakugo that was amazing! You did this all for me?” Your heart swelled for the man that you loved.
“Yeah. Those idiots convinced me to do this. It seemed like a good idea at the time.”
“I loved it. Really. Now come up here before we get in trouble!” You heard faint cheering in the bushes, then a loud ‘SHH’.
“It’s not like that, you losers! Now scram!” Bakugo yelled to the bush.
Unshockingly Uraraka, Sero, Kaminari, and Kirishima all rush out of the bush. They gave you big thumbs up, smiling like fools. You blushed.
“Just come up here already!” You called out. Bakugo used his blasts to propel himself up to your dorm. “You're not supposed to use your quirk outside of training!” You whispered yelled to him, laughing.
“No one was watching anyway, everyones asleep!” He pulled you in for a kiss.
That night was a pretty good night for both of you.

Pleased to Meet You is an Understatement (Iida x Reader)
To say Iida was an over-zealous student would be a bit of an understatement. Every paper was researched to the extent of his abilities, every outcome perfectly documented and bullet-pointed for easier consumption. So when he was assigned a random civilian pen pal to acclimate to dealing with fans in his senior year at UA, he had taken it seriously. He started off writing with a bit of a professional distance to his words, each letter looked over by Aizawa’s discerning eye before being mailed out to the accompanying school.
Empty pleasantries were exchanged both ways throughout the assignment, and Iida was more than content with the grades he had received on his replies. It became a way for him to unwind after the stressful week, something he looked forward to after all the taxing assignments and his internship. He was almost sad to see the assignment end, even with the perfect grade.
It wasn't until Kaminari had burst in, bragging about the date he had set up with his penpal that he even considered continuing to write. All that it took was a simple request to Aizawa, and he had your address, printed in your familiar script. So you had also looked forward to continuing your back and forth. He had never been more excited to retreat to his room as he had been that night.
A few more months, he had thought. Looking back on that sentiment, he felt rather foolish. It had been the better part of two years since he had graduated, and he still looked forward to the dainty envelopes hidden in his mailbox. Over the years, had dropped his professional front, allowing you further into his personal life. You had reciprocated, sharing stories of your failed relationships and- in comparison to Iida's work as a pro hero- mundane life.
He was enthralled, he enjoyed the witty banter you displayed in your writing while also being amused by your naivety of certain things. Would he be so clueless, too, if he hadn't become a hero? Or was that just another quality you held that made him so drawn to you? He wasn't sure he'd ever know. You had suggested meeting many times, but Iida's schedule wasn't very accepting of plans. He tried to assure you so often that it wasn't reluctance on his part, but merely a matter of scheduling. Even then, you'd spot Ingenium racing off on the television hours after your appointed meeting, feeling a little less hurt that he hadn't intentionally blown off your date.
Iida had enough. How many months had he waited, how many years led to this? He put in his request, a full two days off. Only a national emergency would keep him from you this time.
He hoped there wasn’t a national emergency.
You had been so patient, so accepting of the days you spent huddled in cafes and coffee shops, bistros, and bars, waiting on a man that wouldn't show. He felt he needed to make it up to you, despite your insistence against it. Iida himself didn't know why he was so adamant about taking you to such a nice restaurant. He was dressed up more than he was used to outside of events for his agency, and when he saw you fidgeting outside the restaurant, he was quick to assume you were also not used to such lavish places. Yet his breath caught when he saw you all the same, as nervous as you appeared.
He had seen pictures, sent with your letters that carried the ghost of your scent, but seeing you living and moving in front of him was… different. A good different. You had stopped his mind so, he barely felt more competent than Kaminari during their English lessons. When you recognized his frozen figure, you smiled like the sun, thawing his unmoving form, and he barely caught himself before he made a fool of himself right in front of you.
He didn’t know how to greet you. A bow, a handshake? Too informal for the way you gripped his heart and head. A hug would be too presumptuous of him. Would you be offended if he placed his hand at the small of your back to guide you in? All these thoughts ran through his head, but you merely wrapped yourself around his arm, gliding into the gilded doors with ease. How could you be so calm when he, the pro hero, was so stilted?
Through dinner, he was amazed by your grace. He never thought such simple things could consume his thoughts so entirely, like the way your lips wrapped around the rim of your glass, or the way your eyes narrowed as you laughed at something he said. Lesser men would say he was stricken by your beauty, but he knew it was something else. Something that he had ignored for much too long.
You had made your home in his heart, and now that he had seen you, he wasn’t sure he could ever make you leave. The years of correspondence, much more than any of his classmates and most of his family, had made you a precious commodity that he hadn’t known about until he saw you, truly.
It all passed too quickly for him, dinner turned into desserts, into drinks. He could postpone it no longer, especially dressed as you were. Your outfit was no match for the night’s chill, and he had run out of excuses besides one.
“Let me escort you home, I insist.” You giggled, called him a gentleman. How your praise made his heart skip. Wrapped around his arm once more, you fought the breeze as he walked, slower than he should, to your apartment. Much smaller than his, if you knew what he would already do for you, would you decline his offer to put you up somewhere nicer?
No, that was much too fast. He lingered outside your door, noticing you linger too. Perhaps, if he was reading the atmosphere correctly, he wouldn't have to convince you to let him finance a nicer place. Perhaps, if things went as he wished, he could ask you someday to live with him.
“May I kiss you?” His voice was quieter than he intended, but it complemented the demure look on your face.
"Whenever you wish, Iida." His hands brushed your cheeks, wind-bitten and chilled as they were. His hands felt like fire on your face, the kind that was tempered by the confines of a fireplace. One meant to warm instead of raze.
“Would it be rude of me to ask you to call me Tenya?” His finger grazed your lip, and he wondered if he could wait for your answer before his restraint wavered.
“Only if you intend to return the favor, Tenya.” He knew the answer now, all restraint vanished from him as his name slipped from your lips. It was a dangerous game for him to play, letting a singular word have such power over him, even if it was only from your mouth.
When his lips met yours, soft and yielding, he once again thought himself a fool. If he felt the call of his name was dangerous, it held no risk compared to the feeling of your lips.
