My poor baby Levi. After all that, he blamed himself. It's perfectly understandable for him to be upset about MC trying to leave. And yet he was convinced that he didn't deserve to feel that way. Please my heart can't take any more of this.

HOWEVER.

We didn't even get to see his Little D at all. I wonder if we'll see him at some point after the flood? It just seems like we've met everyone else's...

ALSO.

A looooot of talking about MC's special room this time. I no longer think these are the past brothers/characters. At this point, I think these are all the same characters, even Solomon. That's why we've never seen past Solomon. Because he isn't there.

I think it's some kind of spell/curse/magic that has transported everyone back to the past. (Or a simulated version of the past.) Everyone but Solomon and MC lost their memories, making it so their memories start at that moment in the past that they were sent to. It isn't that they are past versions of the brothers. It's that they're the same versions, but sent to the past with their memories wiped. And yet despite whatever magic did that (or perhaps a deliberate flaw of it), they get vibes from MC's old room.

This is the only explanation that makes sense to me anymore. It's the only way they can have feelings about MC's room, the only way characters like Luke can talk about how it feels right to spend time with Simeon and Solomon, likely the only reason we've never met or had to worry about past Solomon. I think this truth is what Solomon told Simeon at the end of season one (I don't quite remember what lesson it was). I think Barbatos knows because for some reason the magic doesn't work on him, but he's going along with it.

It just doesn't make sense otherwise. In this lesson they discuss how the feelings they get from that room are getting stronger.

I think that when MC has made pacts with all of them again, everybody gets their memories back. And this new experience of the past is the one they remember as reality. A way to retcon the past without changing the OG story.

I know people have speculated about this before, I am not at all the first person to think this is the case. But the more I think about it, the more this seems like the only plausible scenario?

And the only scenario in which we aren't abandoning a version of the brothers that we've come to love. Because it's actually been the same set of brothers all along.

Still have no clue who Nightbringer is or what the purpose of doing any of this is. And I could be way off base here. But I guess we'll see.

Hard Lesson:

I would also like to say that of course Solomon made the inside of the boat a freakin' castle. THOUGH. OH SHIT.

I was legit just gonna talk about how funny I thought that was, but isn't it just another example of the fact that Solomon can create entirely different worlds with magic? Though if Solomon is the one who created another world, it seems weird that his magic would also be declining in that world? Though he can clearly make entire ark-castles so maybe it's not as bad as it seemed?

ALTHOUGH I think it would be very interesting if Nightbringer is using Solomon's magic (or making Solomon use his magic) to create this alternate past. And Solomon's magic is fading because he's using so much of it to maintain that place. (MC's magic fading might be more about trying to impart urgency so they'll make pacts faster.)

ANYWAY. This is all speculation obviously lol. Solomon is a silly guy who loves MC so I think the only way he could be actually involved is if Nightbringer is somehow forcing him. (Like he might do all of that if it's going to, say, save MC's life in the end or something.)

Ugh I'm so tired of speculating lol. Any time I'm like okay but what if...? I end up writing myself in circles trying to figure things out.

This whole Nightbringer thing better be DONE by the end of this season or I am going to be UPSET.

hi! no idea if this has been answered, but have you considered how groups of seals think about queerness as a whole? are there trans seals? how do they perceive gayness or a complete disinterest in sexual relations (and, tying into this-seals who have no desire to have a partner, whether or not it's platonic?) no pressure to respond d: love ur little guys the gene sheet is so cool

Short answer: our human concepts of gayness and transgendism don’t properly/fully apply to caeseal societies because gender is not a concept that exists. It’s just never been invented. sex-based genders (boy and girl), masculinity/felinity and tradtional gender roles don't exist. The only thing that does exist is different ways seals will PERSONNALY refer to themselves (pronoun wise i talk about mostly). I say personally because the pronouns seals use are ALWAYS DIFFERENT! specifically catered to the singular seal! (with the except of it/its which you'll have to read my long answer for if you want to understand that) Our human concepts of asexualism/aromanticism/things akin to that DO exist but play a more prominent role in pods. Hunts are kind of an odd ball, lol. Long answer: caeseals and their relationships with sexuality and gender are a lot more different than ours, mostly because:

 caeseals have little to no physical difference between sexes excluding reproducing organs. i'm still debating if i want to add any sort of sex-linked gene(s). this is very unlike most real species of seals but i decided on it mostly because i . Like it more than normal sexual dimorphism? that's sort of it. 

with no obvious sexual differences there also isn’t really a concept of ‘masculinity’ or ‘femininity’, and traditional gender roles haven’t been invented. 

and this all does play a part in caeseal society. how sexuality and “gender” both work differ between pod and hunt groups ! 

hunts: with mates being assigned, what we know as traditional romance is pretty much nonexistent. hunt seal romance is more akin to friendly rivalries.

sexual and romantic attraction really isn’t something that cross hunt seals minds. it does occur, but very few will act on them until later in their life (after they’ve mated, when they can do whatever they want). Excluding a distaste towards sex, which they’ll usually act on sometime after getting paired up by killing their partner.

the sex of hunt seals is known by the leader of the hunt. since they are the ones who choose pairings, they need to keep track of everybody to make sure pairings would be able to reproduce. 

all hunt seals start their lives being called ‘it’ (it/its). this also works as a catch-all term if you need to refer to a seal you don’t know the gender of.

most hunt seals will eventually stray away from 'it' as they grow. there are many reasons one may, and i couldn't list them all. but, as they stray away, the terms they choose are usually entirely unrelated to their sex. instead, it's usually related to their fighting style! 

all seals, no matter the group, attack by biting. but attacking is not all you need to know, especially in hunts. hunts teach all sorts of specialized moves, ranging from defense techniques, knowing your limits & how to use your differences to your advantage, surprise attacks, how to use your surroundings, etc etc. and a lot of seals have somethint they specialize in.

hunt seals use this when choosing how to refer to themselves. have you ever heard of kiki and bouba? how kiki sounds sharp and pointy and bouba sounds soft and round? hunt seals apply the vibes and feelings of different noises (letters) to the vibes and feelings of the thing they specialize in. 

a seal who specializes in surprise attacks would go for something short and sudden sounding (ex: t/k/v/j), maybe a noise that'd instil a feeling of dread. (ex: ss/ee) 

a seal who specializes in a battering-ram style charges to throw opponents around would want something that starts slower (oo, uu, aa, hh, gg) and ends solid, but not sharp. (d/g/b/m) 

etc etc, i could make a million examples. hunt seals who specialize in multiple styles could use multiple pronouns or mix two together. if a hunt seal's style changes over time, so could how they refer to themselves. 

what feeling a certain letter evokes does vary SLIGHTLY hunt to hunt, but that doesn't matter, and a hunt seal wouldn't introduce themselves to a seal from a different hunt. they'd just fight each other. 

i’ll probably make a guide for what letters hunt seals associate different things to. but that’ll be later

pods: pod culture around relationships is a LOT more complex than hunts and is a bit hard to define. Gender is . still a bit complex but it’s definitely easier to understand than their relationships

similar to hunts, pod seals begin their lives being referred to as it (it/its). but the way pod seals figure out what terms they’ll be referred to as isn’t actually determined by them. as seals grow up, the people around them and the people they’re close to, usually immediate family, will start referring to them in different ways. whatever their family thinks fits them. as time goes on, eventually certain terms will fall off and others will stick. and eventually, usually when they’re about halfway thru their juvenality, one will REALLY stick. that’ll be how this seal refers to themselves.

similar to hunts, these terms are usually made up, but not related to sounds. they’re related to things that the seals family associates with them. usually physical objects/things or ‘vibes’. this is a little hard to explain, but eventually i’ll make an easier guide/make examples.

If a seal for whatever reason doesn’t like the term that’s been decided for them, they can ask for more suggestions/pick a different one their family recommended/make one up themselves/etc. It’s rare for this to happen but it’ll show up every so often. 

Pods relationships are open and ‘cheating’ is not a concept that exists in their society. Seals who never end up in relationships with other seals do exist but they’re hard to find. Most seals are able to keep track of who they’re in a relationship with but those who like having lots of partners will occasionally keep lists. 

Most seals end up in relationships with those who they grew up with but meeting someone totally new does happen. And when i mean meeting someone new, i mean both from a different pod and inside your OWN pod. This might seem crazy but, i think i’ve mentioned it, pods can get VERY BIG!!!! There is most DEFINITELY a chance there’ll be some seals you don’t meet for a long time or are only acquaintances with. 

Pod relationships are pretty complex but CAN be understood if you put a bit of brain into it. The only relationship that’s not hard to figure out are familial relationships as those just work as. That’s my family. That’s not my family. Otherwise, pod seal relationships usually consist of offshoots of platonic, romantic or sexual. (ps: when i say platonic i don’t mean stuff like friends or acquaintances those are their own thing that word just how they do normally in real life) to give a few examples, someone could have a solely romantic relationship with another seal, but be open to romantic or sexual relationships. Someone could like romantic relationships but only with people they don’t know very well. I could quite literally go on forever. 

But, when referring to another seal, pod seals will generally say ‘i don’t know that seal/we’re acquaintances/we’re friends’ or ‘we have a relationship/we are partners’ and then expand further or not depending on comfort. I’m not sure if i explained that well (like ive done with most of the stuff in this post putting my thoughts into words is brain melting) but i’ll have to cap it here before i die in some sort of way. But i’ll get around to making nice guides eventually, probably when school stops swamping me (who knows when that’ll be though)

-I think Grim is vegetarian so he brought a bunch of plant-based foods (Rügenwalder Mühle my beloved) for him and the others to try out

-Ness watches Igor and Birkenstock VERY closely when they're grilling whatever Kaiser is going to eat to make sure they're not messing anything up

-Ali brought A LOT of food his parents prepared. Not only stuff to grill but also salads and dips

-80% of the food is brought by Ali, actually

-eating together is absolute chaos because Kaiser is trying to get the conversation to be about himself

-Gesner starts saying something about dick cheese and everybody shuts him up immediately. Then Grim scolds him because he shouldn't say stuff like that while they're eating

-Noa is just a tired dad who has no idea why he even is there. But he's there. And he doesn't get to leave for a while longer

-Bachman is trying to talk to Ness the entire time, but ends up failing to get into a proper conversation because Ness is either too focused on Kaiser or someone else from the team gets all the attention for a moment (for example when Gesner says something too vulgar again)

-Theo is playing Mario Kart on his Switch while eating. He somehow can multitask that

-Mensah and Ndiaye watch him play and after eating they have a little Mario Kart competition

Yo!! Hello!!! I am like 90% sure I've seen you post about dimension 20 before!!

I just got a dropout subscription and I'm thriving but I am looking for advice for where to start/go with the dnd-verse on it? I'm assuming that the separate campaigns are relatively stand-alone but I would love an opinion (or just input on what the actual chronology is lmao)

hehe sleeper phrase discovered i'm honored you came to me :)

so the first thing to know which you probably already do is that there is a main returning cast for some seasons, and then some campaigns are a different group with an occasional different dm. the Intrepid Heroes are Lou Wilson, Zac Oyama, Brian Murphy, Ally Beardsley, Siobhan Thompson, and Emily Axford with Brennan Lee Mulligan dming, so they play as that exact group multiple times. There's usually one or two of them in a non-main-cast campaign, too, including Brennan sometimes as a player when somebody else is dming.

So! In terms of watch order! I recommend starting with Fantasy High because it's the original campaign and also fantastic. There are currently two seasons, Fantasy High and Fantasy High: Sophomore Year, and they are both masterpieces. We're also getting Junior Year this winter which is extremely exciting for me personally because I Love Fantasy High lol. Fantasy High is a great starting point especially if you're new to dnd/dnd actual play shows (which you may not be so feel free to disregard this bit of advice lol) because multiple players are learning how to play in the first season, so there's plenty of opportunity to learn with them. It's also generally pretty light-hearted and funny, though it doesn't sacrifice story for comedy which I love. If you don't know, the concept of Fantasy High is that these young teenagers live in a world where everywhere else is a stereotypical fantasy world but their country is like. Classic high school Americana. It's silly, the characters are great, the storylines are great and only get better in Sophomore Year, it's an all around great time and great intro to D20!

I went right from Fantasy High to Unsleeping City, which is also fantastic (you'll notice a recurring theme here, I love every campaign I've watched so far lol). If you like the lighter parts of Fantasy High but want a little bit more tension, Unsleeping City is perfect. It's set in modern-day New York with a twist: there's a magical underside to the city. Lots of fantastic commentary on modern life in the storytelling that slaps, I won't spoil but it slaps, and also really wonderful characters! Unsleeping City also has two seasons, so you get to see the characters grow and change a lot over two full plotlines which is very fun!

If you like the more serious side of things, my personal favorite D20 campaign is A Crown of Candy. I watched this third and it made me cry hard enough at work that my boss asked if I was okay lol. The set-up is simple: fantasy world made of food, but make it Game of Thrones. It's intense, the stakes are high from episode one, it's incredibly character driven and everybody plays really, really interesting characters, and because of how high-stakes it is, every payoff is just insane. We all talk about Ally's poetic nat 20s and believe me, they exist, but Mr. Lou Wilson (love of my life) has a nat 20 near the end of A Crown of Candy that genuinely made me feel so crazy when it happened that I had to take a walk lol. Cannot recommend it enough, it's devastating and perfect.

A Starstruck Odyssey is really good again if you like the lighter end of thing but still want stakes and tension! The world is based of comics that Brenna's mom wrote which is really sweet, and it's a very different vibe because is sci-fi instead of pure fantasy, which is honestly really fun. Some of the characters are up there on my favorites list, shoutout to Skipper and Sundry Sydney!

In terms of the campaigns that aren't Intrepid Heroes, the first one I listened to was Misfits and Magic, which is a Harry Potter spoof dmed by Abria Ayangar, who's fantastic, and featuring Brennan as an utterly unhinged in the best way player. There's also Mice and Murder, which is a super great mystery with anthropomorphic animals that was shot on zoom over the first lockdown (a few seasons were so don't be shocked by that lol). I'm a bit more than halfway through A Court of Fey and Flowers which has been great so far, and I'm super looking forward to getting to The Ravening War, which is a prequel to A Crown of Candy, and Mentoplis, as well as the current season, Burrow's End. I have to watch Neverafter first though, which is the most recent Intrepid Heroes campaign.

Anyway! To summarize!

My advice is to start with Fantasy High and Fantasy High: Sophomore Year, and then pick which elements you liked best to decide what you want next! All of the campaigns that aren't explicitly linked are completely standalone, like I'm not missing anything important from the one's I've watched by not having watched some of the others, so don't worry too much about chronology or anything like that! The only ones that need to be watched in a specific order are the two with two seasons already, which are Fantasy High and Unsleeping City, but those are labelled quite clearly with season titles! Also if it's easier to keep track of, Dropout has the campaigns sorted into their own shows on the site so you don't have to choose seasons of D20, you can just choose A Crown of Candy.

The ultimate ranking I've decided upon is as follows:

TO BE CLEAR, I like Diavolo. Also, 4-8 are all basically tied. Yes, I put Barbatos in position 8 on purpose, yes, I'm aware that was low-hanging fruit. The whole list is also very fluid. Over the course of playing the games and existing in the fan space, Solomon has been my number 3 and my number 12.

ALSO! A lot of this is just "my opinions based on the vibes I get and nothing else". So please don't take anything too seriously. I'm definitely not claiming to have perfect, inarguable takes.

S Tier

These guys are consistently my Boys, my Faves, the ones I Love. I'd marry Mammon. I'd start a cult with Satan. I'd use phrases like "my little meow meow" in service of explaining my feelings for Levi.

1. Mammon

I mean, whenever I think he's not my favorite, he comes back and reminds me that he is, so I might as well just bow to the inevitable. I love a tsundere himbo. He's funny and cute and he makes my heart do the thing. My stone cold frozen aromantic heart.

2. Satan

Ah, my complex relationship with Satan, who is the worst-developed character in the OG but comes careening back into the running with an excellent display of character development in Nightbringer. Satan, for whom I simp, but who is also my feral child. Satan, who is coded autistic entirely unintentionally but whose attempts at being romantic hit me like bricks to the face and I just want him to please stop trying to be flirty and instead talk to me about cats or science or whatever hyperfixation he happens to be focusing on because it's much more attractive. Satan, who, after overblotting on wrath, just kind of passed out instead of going insane like Mammon and Asmo and everybody because he deals with this shit all day every day anyway. Satan, who deserves to be number one on this list because he occupies so much space in my brain but continues to lose out to Mammon because Mammon's blushing feels more sincere.

3. Leviathan

The unexpected addition to this list. I dunno, he's always growing on me. He's so funny. Possibly the funniest character in the game. I love writing him. He's so cute. He's so cringe. I can relate to one of those things. I don't really have any great reasons why I love him so much. I just do. He's so fun. I love his pets. I love that he got the pet show cancelled by summoning Lotan. I love him in the anime cosplaying as Ruri-chan. Actually, yeah, the anime. He got the best rep in the anime to me because he is so cute and funny in that thing.

A Tier

I love them, I will go to bat for them, I will kiss them, I will bring them their lunch if they forgot it at home, I will sing them lullabies, I will kiss their precious cheeks, but I will not marry them. (Edit: I will not marry them, with the exception of Simeon, who I would absolutely marry if he deigned to ask me.)

4. Asmodeus

He's just a fun guy? He's really sweet and caring and somehow doesn't feel like he's actually hitting on me? I've described him in a DM with someone as "your gay best friend who you make out with sometimes" and I seriously do get platonic vibes from him and I'm here for it. I'm here for platonic makeout sessions. As an aro who likes when fictional boys flirt with me sometimes but not too much, he's a very welcome breath of fresh air because his flirting just doesn't feel like it's aimed at anything? He just likes to call you a cutie pie. And I know that none of that makes sense for a character who is the literal avatar of lust, but I'm talking vibes, not reality.

5. Solomon

Solomon can ride this scale from close to the top to rock bottom to be honest. I did not like him during the recent event (Voyages). He just felt creepy to me. And that's where my problems with Solomon lie for the most part. Much like with the Asmo vibes, he just feels creepy to me. I think he's too openly infatuated and too comfortable with that fact for me? Like slow down my guy, I'm here to be jokingly flirted with not asked to cosign a mortgage. But also the panties came OFF for that confrontation with Belphie in the colosseum so congrats on your new placement as number 5. I like a lot of fandom interpretations of him significantly more than canon ones so when I go back to canon I'm always a little like "eughhh what is this?"

6. Simeon

Okay, here are my reasons. 1) He's the most beautiful character. Nobody else even comes close. Don't ask me why, he just is. 2) Plot things that I haven't even gotten to yet but if you know you know. 3) I I like how nonjudgmental he is about literal demons like he just pops in from Heaven like "let's all be friends". What a chill dude. Bonus 4) Luke's dad.

7. Lucifer

First of all, if he ever genuinely hits on me I'm hitting on HIM with pepper spray. Dad, what the fuck? Second, he just loves his brothers so much and works so hard for them and wants so badly to protect them. I admire that. I do not get any genuine chemistry between him and the main character, though that could be my romance-radar malfunctioning as usual, or even just my taste. "That's my dad, I can't marry my dad."

8. Barbatos

Another character in whom I see no chemistry with the main character, but that's okay and I love him anyway. He's number 8 because he loves being number 8. He's the second-prettiest boy after Simeon in my opinion and I like to imagine him being an absolute menace who never sleeps, never bathes, and never uses the bathroom. He has transcended all that. He is the Time Lord.

B Tier

My beloved babies (and drunk uncle)! I have no romantic interest in any of them whatsoever! One because he's an actual child and the others because I just don't. But I love them and I cherish them and I will bring them their lunches if they forgot them at home just as much as I would for tier A.

9. Luke

Yes, he's whiny. Yes, he's kind of weird to even have in the game let alone the intimacy system. No, I have never and will never call him a Chihuahua. I will beat up his bullies, including Lucifer and Mammon. I will file for joint custody with Simeon. He's so flippin' cute.

10. Beelzebub

Another classic good boy. I love him but I don't really see much in him beyond... being a good boy? He's sweet and I would give him so many hugs and he deserves so much love but I can't get over the idea that that head is empty, there is nothing inside but cheeseburgers. And I kind of love that for him.

11. Belphegor

When I first started the game I thought I'd like him best. Turns out I was wrong. Now, I don't hold it against him that he murdered me. Sometimes a demon has just gotta do what a demon's gotta do. He's a little shit, but he also did that thing in the anime where he's Beel's cheerleader while he fails at a video game? And that moment will forever be enshrined in my heart.

I mean look at him??? Holy shit???? Just seeing this image again makes me want to kick him up to number 6 or something.

12. Diavolo

I love my gay drunk uncle as much as the next person but when your gay drunk uncle sometimes hits on you, it's extremely uncomfortable. I'm not like an active Dialuci shipper but I fully support Diavolo's unapologetic simping for his totally platonic right hand man. And then he wants to get in my pants and it's like having ice water dumped down my shirt.

Just a Little Longer

pairings: choi hyunsuk × gn!reader

warnings: mentions of alcohol, mentions of weed and vapes, swearing, cussing, kind of cliché, suggestive (a lot of kissing and/or making out and touching.) lmk if i missed anything. minors dni!

word count: 2.17k

"everybody make some noise!!!" the host of the party turns up the music, blasting it so loud that the neighbors could hear. it would only be minutes before they start complaining about the disruptive noise.

you on the other hand have been doing your own thing for an hour or so. talking to friends, dancing, sipping on cup of alcohol that barely even got you buzzed but you're okay with that. ever since you got settled in, the mixture of the weed and vapes are making your stomach hurt and your friend can tell you're uneasy. the smell is a little too strong for your liking so your friend grabs your hand.

"here, let me take you upstairs." they walk you up the stairs and take you to the back room.

you walk in and turn on the light, making your way to a chair to sit on.

"make sure to not close the door all the way. it's jammed from the inside, but if you get stuck, call me." your friend says as they leave the door cracked before leaving.

a few minutes in the room and your feeling a little better, deciding to go back to the party and find your friend. as you walk closer to the door, you get startled as a random guy runs into the room and slams the door shut. the man is hyperventilating as he brushes the hairs back that's fallen in his face.

he finally looks up to meet your eyes. the only facial expression that he could read from you was distraught. he was confused until you opened your mouth.

"why did you close the door? the handle is jammed on this side!" you yell at the guy in frustration.

"shit. i'm sorry, i forgot! there was some drunk that wouldn't get off me and i just hid somewhere!" he panics. you walk towards the door and bang on it as hard as you could.

the boy kept tugging on the handle trying to see if he could break open the door but it was no use. you two were stuck in a random person's room at a party your friend dragged you to.

you tried calling your friend but there were no bars on your phone. the boy with you didn't have his phone on him, claimed to have misplaced it. a few minutes pass by and you came to terms with being stuck in a room with a stranger for who knows how long.

right now, you're playing with a small rubber ball on on the bed while the stranger is making random beats across from you on a sofa. you hear him vibing and humming softly, therefore you pause your actions and observe him. but that doesn't last for long until he feels your eyes on him.

"...am i bothering you?" he asks, stopping to look at you. you were so spaced out looking at him, you didn't even realize he was talking to you.

"huh? i'm sorry, what did you say?"

"is my humming bothering you? i'll stop if it's too loud." he responds.

"no, it's not. i was just distracted." you start playing with the ball again. the guy spoke up again.

"what's your name?" he asks.

"y/n. you?"

"hyunsuk."

"well i'm sorry we had to meet this way, hyunsuk. stuck in a room with somebody you don't even know." you sigh, pressing the back of your head against the bed frame.

"i actually find it kind of peaceful. i'm always around a bunch of people anyway."

"really?" you raise an eyebrow. "wow, i guess i read you wrong."

"i'm assuming you read me based off how i look?" he questions and you nod your head.

"what did you even think about me?" he smiles.

"i had a feeling that you were more outgoing and on the extroverted side. you seem friendly and according to the last 5 minutes of me being stuck in here, you're also a music lover. you also have a good sense of fashion but that’s just a bonus."

hyunsuk was surprised by your observation. "at least you didn't describe me as an asshole." he laughs. his voice seems more welcoming now that you're engaging a conversation with him. you chuckle at his response as you huddle your body up in the bed.

"but honestly, you did pretty good. you weren't too far off." he compliments.

"yeah i know." you smile. "i just picked up your vibe and went with it."

while he's talking to you, he finds your smile nice to look at.

"how about we keep talking to pass the time? maybe it'll fly by faster." hyunsuk suggests. you nod and ask him and start off with a non surprising question. "what's your favorite music to listen to?"

the boy looks up and taps his chin. "hmm that's a good question." he takes a couple seconds to think. "i would say i like most genres but hip hop is my favorite."

"interesting." you sat up and fixed your posture. you tell him your favorite music as well, he says that you have good taste which causes you to smile. hyunsuk likes seeing your smile, so he tries to make you smile as much as he can.

"okay, next question. what are your hobbies?" he found you intriguing. you answer him and tell him all the things you like to do and end it with that you like sleeping a lot. he laughs at the last part of your reply.

"that's kinda funny because i don't sleep as much as the average person." you raise your eyebrows and ask him why he doesn't sleep that much.

"well, music is everywhere around me. i write and compose songs, i dance, make my own music, and i love it so much that i wish there was more time in one day so i can keep going."

"you're actually saying 24 hours isn't enough time in the day?" a shocking look appears on your face.

"crazy, right?" he smiles and looks down.

"maybe a little, but it just means you're determined and love what you do. you found what to do with your life and you make it happen." you rest your hand under your chin and look into his eyes. he mummers a thank you and shies away from you.

you slowly start finding interest in him and found it quite fascinating how he found out what to do with his life already. his winsome personality makes you want to talk to him even more.

"have you ever traveled?" you continue on.

"yes, actually."

"where? everywhere?" you say sarcastically.

"somewhat." he chuckles. "i've lost count. i just recently came back from japan, though."

your eyes broaden. "wow you've been to japan? i've always wanted to go. i heard it's so beautiful."

"beautiful is an understatement." he walks over to sit beside you and you didn't mind. as he sat by you, you smelled his scent as it hits your nose, reminding you of strawberries as you smile to yourself.

"you should definitely visit sometime." he nudges your shoulder, your smile beamed once more.

you kept talking to hyunsuk for a while as the time passes by. you don't know if you've been talking to him for 30 minutes or an hour but the way he made your heart slightly skip as he flashed a smile or grazed your leg with his knee — whether it was on purpose or on accident — you wanted it to keep going. you were kind of into the conversation and small banter you two were having.

then all of the sudden, you hear muffled sounds from the other side. you raise up quickly and make hyunsuk slightly jump.

"wait, do you hear that?" you turn your head and walk to the door. you put your ear up against the door. hyunsuk follows your lead and put his against the door as well.

"there are people close by. we can finally get out!" you quietly shout toward him. "wait!" before you bang on the door, hyunsuk grabs your fist. you look at him in confusion, wondering why he would stop you from getting someone to open the door.

"actually, can we stay in here for just a few more minutes?" he looks into your eyes with such infatuation. you furrow your eyebrows at him.

"i just really really like talking to you..."

"...maybe we can stay in here for a little longer?" his hinting was vague, but sly enough for you to figure out what he meant.

you don't hesitate and lean closer to his face, grazing the bottom of his lip with yours.

he can already tell you're a tease as he smiles while your lips just barely touch his. he can't help but wait any longer. he pulls you into him as your lips connect for the first time.

the rush of adrenaline you have comes out of nowhere and takes over. you take him back to the bed and lay him down. you hover over him and press your lips on him again. the kiss had butterflies floating in your stomach. hyunsuk wrapped his hands around your waist and licked the bottom of your lip and slowly bit it, asking for more.

you slightly smirk and give back the same energy. his hands slide up your waist, pulling you in closer as you tug on his shirt. you part ways for a few seconds so he can give you the green light. he nods and you proceed to take off his shirt. then you target his neck, gently kissing and nipping at his skin as he responds with a sigh and tightening his hands around you.

you don't think you have ever felt this way. the idea of you and him alone has you feeling driven, and you know it's not the alcohol because it's not even in your system anymore.

you kiss back up to his lips and a "please" escapes him. you take his hand and slowly drag it down your body until he touches the hem of your shirt. he helps you pull your shirt off quickly and throw it to the side. hyunsuk feels you up and down gradually as he kisses down your neck.

you make your way to his jeans and grab them until you hear the door open.

"y/n? are you still in here- wow." your friend came in and walked in on you and the shirtless man. hyunsuk's face is flushed all over while you were relieved and let out the breath you were holding onto.

"thank god it's only you, you scared the hell out of me." you press your hand on your heart.

"i see you got a little busy? sorry to ruin it but my mom is telling me i've got an appointment tomorrow morning so we gotta go." they flash a fake smile. "i'll let you say your...goodbyes." they leave the door cracked.

you turn back around to see hyunsuk putting his shirt back on. you internally pout and almost fail to recognize the redness covering his face. but then you let out a chuckle and grab his face. "are you blushing because of what happened before or after my friend caught us?"

"stop it." he smiles looking away nervously. he sees your shirt and holds it in front of you. "you're probably gonna need this."

"haha very funny." you both laugh as you stand up and put on your shirt and hyunsuk follows.

"well tonight was fun." you smirk, playing with his shirt that was once discarded from him.

"oh really? which part?" he bites his lips and he looks at yours. "all of it." you respond, giving him one last kiss before you go.

"just making sure it wasn't when you first yelled at me."

"what, did i scare you?" you ask. "no."

you raise an eyebrow. "maybe.." he mumbles. you laugh and grab a pen from beside you and write your phone number on his arm before heading out of the room.

"text me." you say as you leave and your friend rushes you down the stairs eye boggling you until you two reach a quieter place.

"hyunsuk? choi hyunsuk? you lucky bitch!" they yell. you laugh at their surprised, yet impressed expression upon their face.

"what about him?"

"what about him?! he's hot!" your friend lightly shoved your shoulder. "yeah, i guess he's nice on the eyes." you shrug.

"both of your shirts were off and now all you're saying is that he's nice on the eyes?'" they quote.

you admit he's really pretty and really nice to talk to. a whole different vibe from anyone you ever met, but you decided to keep that from your friend so you wouldn't get your hopes up.

"do you know anything about him..that i should know?" you ask, scratching your head trying to come off as nonchalant as possible.

So I am generally pretty forward thinking and progressive. You know, I want to save the whales. I'm pro choice, pro environment, but against the bomb. But there are some things I am pretty traditionalist on and a big one is gender roles. When I was just a kid and everybody was in a band and we were all punks and everyone was angelic and sentimental garbanzos were a nickle a handful but the vibes were free there weer some truisms. Drummers can't be trusted and they just wander off sometimes and if their girlfriend breaks up with them they're homeless. A big one though was the bassist was always the most talented musician in the band and he was usually curly haired and had facial hair before that was really cool again and he was the backbone of the band be it good or bad he was the one who could really play and be counted on and he could not get laid to fucking save his life. Everyone else was hooking up but the bassist was striking out like it was his fucking job. It wasn't his job, holding down the rhythm section was but I said these guys were the most talented so they had time to take on extra work and apically fail at ever, ever hooking up. I am sure some bassist is reading this and upset and wants to tell me how he was swimming in so much trim he practically drown. To that I say yeah, big talk, it's the internet. I'm not impressed. While you were getting more tail than anyone else on the planet I was constantly getting laid while slam dunking basketballs and doing kick flips on my skateboard. See? I can lie too. Anyway, this was a truism in the sense that 90% of these bands were male and the bassist almost always was a dude. A nice, talented, unfuckable dude. But when it was a girl? Holy fucking shit was she hot. Just without fail. I know people think gendered stuff like this is bullshit but I am here to tell you that female bassists are always so hot it makes people question their sexuality. I know this because I saw it happen twice twice. One time we saw this shitty band play under the dollar theater in the basement bar of the run down strip mall next to the college and they were awful but then this other band came on and this girl came on with short hair and a lot of eyeliner and she picked up a base and she played about two songs before my gay friends leaned over and he said, "I think I want to fuck the bassist". To which I said, "You know she's a girl, right?" And he said, "Yeah, it's weird but she is sexy". To this day he is still pretty super gay but he doubted it than night. Then one time I saw some band middle for the Hold Steady, female bassist and a different gay friend was like, "That bassist is kind of hot. I don't know why but I can't quit looking at her". I knew why though. She was a female bassist and it's just the law that they are hot. Which brings us to Victoria De Angelis, who is a bassist and thus guys, I am here to tell you she's fucking hot. You might claim she'd still be hot even if she didn't play bass and maybe you're right but I bet if she was Victoria De Angelis the girl who murders children you'd be less into her. Because bassists just add that little something extra. Anyway, she is lots of good things, a bassist, a rockstar, an Italian. The real kind of Italian, not the fake kind like me who is only Italian in the sense that I have a grandparent who was born in Italy, which Europeans love to shit on. They're so fucking protective of being European like it's a kind of regional cheese or something but I won't get into that, I am just clearing up she is hot and from a country some of my relatives were from once upon a time, which you might not know why that makes her hot but look at the pictures. I don't have a story about a gay friend for everything, you have to do some of the work here. Today I want to fuck Victoria De Angelis.

WIP Questions Tag

I wasn't actually tagged by anyone, but @owlsandwich opened it up to everybody so I'm giving this a try! Open tag, but also no pressure tags to @somethingclevermahogony , @queen-of-the-weenies and @sarandipitywrites !

We're gonna do my main current WIP, God-Touched, and also a couple I've tabled for a bit due to stress, which are called Gods of Steel, and Nico after the name of the MC, respectively. I copy pasted the questions and I may have missed one or two.

What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?

God-Touched: This is more of an overall writing struggle for me, but underwriting/being too concise. I tend to make unnecessary time skips when outlining and not add enough descriptive passages.

Gods of Steel: The world building. I usually enjoy complex world building, but I may have bitten off more than I can chew with this project. I'm taking it slow and building one aspect of it at a time as I'm motivated to do the necessary research, so fingers crossed that works out.

Nico: This one's kinda stupid, but keeping myself from imagining my protagonist as Nico di Angelo. She's completely different in appearance, mannerisms, etc, but I'm a rabid PJO fan and that was my first association with the name.

If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

God-Touched: Definitely something by Imagine Dragons, probably Natural.

Gods of Steel: Probably some kind of epic orchestral thing, I haven't found a specific track yet.

Nico: Song Of Women by the HU and Lzzy Hale. Going purely off of sound and vibes.

What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?

Gods of Steel: This is gonna sound really presumptuous, but I'm trying to make it similar to Dune and the Na'vi Avatar movies.

Nico: Honestly, Tamora Pierce, even though my story is more sci-fi than fantasy. Also slightly the Divergent movie (haven't read the book in years), in that the MC slowly realizes just how much of a dystopia she's actually living in, even though she started out compliant.

What was the first part of your wip that you created?

God-Touched: The general concept of Christian mythology put into a queer science fantasy context.

Gods of Steel: The setting, (humanity's original non-Earth home), and some of its history.

Nico: The idea for the relationship arc between the two main characters. It was the first time I'd ever wanted to write romance, and it was an interesting challenge to come up with how that would play out.

Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!

God-Touched: This is a major spoiler, but the main gang ends up adopting an iridescent rainbow baby space dragon. She looks majestic, but is actually a huge derpy goof. She's heavily based on Banana, my little sister's big ginger cat who is not exactly the sharpest crayon in the box

Gods of Steel: The main villains on this story are cyborgs, but some are cyborg animals rather than people. They started out as normal robots, but then got this virus that made them grow flesh, skin and other organic parts, but many of the animal-like ones still have working blades or guns as part of their bodies that they use when hunting humans for food.

Nico: The fauna of the setting for this one is very ice age influenced, the main character has a war mammoth that she's raised from a calf to be her mount and companion.

What part of your wip are you working on rn?

God-Touched: First draft of the first two books, if all goes well it's gonna be a five book series.

Gods of Steel: World Building.

Nico: In my first stage of outlining.

How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)

God-Touched: spaceships and hover bikes

Gods of Steel: spaceships, then on foot after all their tech gets infected by the cyborgs.

Nico: Mammoth-back riding.

What are your hopes for your wip?

This is the same for all of them so I'll just do one answer: A devoted fandom that uses my books as inspiration to create their own awesome content. Fanart, fanfic, animatics, those character analysis YouTube videos, anything like that.

On the other hand, even tho the timing isn't great and I'm not ready to say goodbye, I am loving all the ali content this week! She looks SO beautiful you know she's just gorgeous! All the love and praise she's receiving everywhere is just the minimum of what she deserves. But I'm really happy she's being recognized for what she did on and off the field and that her brilliant career is being acknowledged. Everybody talking about the great leader she is and mostly how she is an incredible human being just warms my heart! She's so so loved!!

Also, remember we used to talk about the woso people on twitter (journos and fans) last year and how they would just ignore her existence and not acknowledge how good she's been recently? Now they're all praising her and even making a defender of the year campaign, did you see?? I really hate the hypocrisy but if it's for her good I'm even giving them a rt lol

In the end I just want her to be happy, being praised and loved eveywhere, a nwsl champion (please universe and gotham make it happen) and defender of the year would be really awesome to be honest and she deserves it.

Totally agree! Despite the circumstances and how I wish Ash would be involved in it all, I'm still so glad that Ali is getting all the love, appreciation and recognition she deserves. She's had an incredible career, most of it being so underrated by the media and people around the sport and I'm just glad that so many others have acknowledged her impact on the sport, on and off the field. You can tell just how loved she was and how important she's been to the sport for years based on all these sweet messages she's getting. Even from people she didn't play with directly, they still know how impactful she was. I am kind of bitter that USWNT is doing much for her now but whatever, we all know she deserved better than what she got with them.

I did notice how all those journalists are now appreciating her and saying nice things...that's just how some people are but at least they are realizing they would look silly if they didn't say otherwise. You can't deny what kind of person and player Ali is and has been. It would be so incredible if she won Defender of the Year and I really really hope she does. It's kind of crazy that she hasn't won it in the past and she's played so well this year so she absolutely deserves it.

I really hope Gotham can win today so that she has a chance at an NWSL Championship so it's one of the few things she hasn't gotten a chance to win. And the vibes will just be better if they win the game and I hope she has a great game herself. It's going to be emotional regardless but today is her day and I hope she feels all the love and is able to enjoy it with everyone around her who loves her so much!

I’m so annoyed by this J-vorce and Jared and Jensen are avoiding each other crap. Even if they were purposely not doing the same European cons as each other by choice (besides JIB), and not because they cost too much to book together, it still wouldn’t point to them not being friends or disliking each other. They are still actors and wanting to be the main focus of a con (without sharing the spotlight) isn’t exactly a crime or indication of a falling out. It’s business, especially when they haven’t actually started in anything together in three years now. Also, as you’ve pointed out in your posts, they are still doing plenty of cons together, as in almost all North American ones and JIB. And they still do both gold and the main panel together with CE. They don’t have to do that if they don’t want to. The Vampire Diaries bros only do a shared Gold Panel from what I’ve seen. J2 could demand that if they really wanted to.

You also pointed out that we can’t actually tell the state of their relationship based off of just public appearances or cherry-picking things they’ve said. I totally agree with this. But, if how they appear in public counts for anything, I can say they still get along really well in person based on how they acted while doing photo ops together (in between pics, not counting poses that have been requested) as they were in super good moods in Charlotte last weekend when together. I also had their joint Meet & Greet, and while I can’t talk about what they said, I can confirm that they appeared very comfortable with each other and got carried away with reminiscing about joint experiences. I know they are actors, but even in the more "private" setting there was no stilted interaction or awkwardness, and it’s not like we’ve never seen either guy come across slightly awkward with another actor during a panel.

Honestly, even if their friendship has changed, I still enjoy seeing J2 together and I really don’t get a vibe of dislike between them at all, so unless one of them says otherwise, I’m just going to assume they are still friends while also being grown-ups who have busy separate lives. I barely see my own friends because of work any family commitments and we aren’t even actors.

You're absolutely right and clearly too sensible to be in this fandom. Quite honestly, my expectation (well before prequelgate) was that they'd probably make more of a point of promoting themselves and their new projects separately than they actually have done. Because while it looks good to still have friendly relationships with former coworkers, being seen as one half of J2 isn't exactly the most sensible way to promote themselves anymore.

The people who are so obsessed with the idea of them doing literally ANYTHING separately being A Very Important Clue about the state of their relationship that should get super extra special weight because because?

They KNOW their fave!J must hate the other guy now, because they really really desperately want it to be so. They just have to find the right proof, and everyone will have to admit how superior they are for seeing The Truth before everybody else!

I agree with you, I haven't seen any kind of increased awkwardness in their interactions. Is that because their relationship hasn't significantly changed or because they're just that professional? I have my opinion, but I'm not sitting around breathlessly waiting for the next time they do/don't do a con together thinking surely this time will prove they really can/can't stand each other. Because ... FFS.

Hey, wanted to say thank you for ALL your hard work on getting your demo out. I absolutely LOVE the personal touches that you did to your twine???? It is so creative and fun to look at and play with; I also loved how you set up your character creation.

However, from reading the demo I do have two criticisms/questions: 😭

when making our character, even though we can describe our hair texture/style, I was wondering why skin color wasn't an option? (I played on mobile, so if it was there it got cut off 😭)

2. This one is more a critique of how MC comes off/personality wise, and maybe it's just me, but when you pick their "class" in the beginning - the descriptors for the classes kind of already sound like a preset personality. So I picked the signal because I was under the impression that MC would maybe have more...flowy hippie moments/everyone finds them kinda weird because they're intuned with the signal and their intuition is always right kinda thing. However, and I understand trying to balance one set personality that makes sense for everyone, but it does feel like personality choices feel moreso favored towards the mechanic or the flirt or the muscle class than for the signal class. Again, it might just be ME and my own expectations.

OVERALL, still great job, those were just my thoughts lol

This first question lets me talk a little about my character creation ethos, which is something I'm always chomping at the fucking bit to talk about, so thank you lmao. You'll notice that there are no colour options in the character creation section! This is for a reason!

The goal with character creation, in my humble opinion, is to bring the player into the world as much as possible while also limiting their creativity as little as possible. With a text-based medium I find it useful to keep things sparse. If it's not necessary for worldbuilding, I cut it. Yeah, psych! That wasn't character creation at all, it was exposition!

So the player needs to pick from a list of hairstyles because I want the player to come into this world knowing what kind of hairstyles people wear. And I want the player to pick from a list of scars so they know they're entering a world where everybody's got a buttload of scars. It all gives off the vibe. Whereas when it comes to things like skin colour or hair colour, I don't want to limit the player's creativity by giving them a set list to pick from, y'know? Your character can have whatever skin colour you want them to have, and it's never going to be referenced in the game, so I'd rather the player decide that themselves.

As for the other part- the skills are just that, skills. While the selection gives you some suggestions for what kind of character might have that skill, it's not about personality as much as ability. I don't want to lock the player into a personality just because they selected one starting stat at the beginning of the game.

Rather than skills, the thing that mechanically will reinforce your character's personality is their identities. For example, I don't want players being seen as weird just because their Signal is high, because that's one of the effects of the Augur identity.

And in regards to the player not having many Signal-focused options in dialogue, I will definitely take that into account! I think once we get deeper into the cult storyline it'll take center stage a little more.

Get to Know My OC!

Remember when I did that interview for Elise, and I mentioned that I would do it for other characters as well? And then I did that poll for you guys to choose who should get an interview next?

It may not look like I remembered that, since it's been ages... but I do. And I'm going to finally be making good on that promise.

Well, the bonus option got the most votes, so today I'll be sharing an OC interview for a brand new character that I've never really mentioned before.

Meet Mackenna Sahara, the main character for my "Five Seconds Flat" series! I think I have at least mentioned this series before... it's the one inspired by the Lizzy McAlpine album.

She's a lot of fun. To give you a basic idea of what I'm trying to go for with her, she's like a mix of Stephanie and Elise from Steph's Crew. A smart and stellar student, but also very confident and feisty. But she's her own character as well - she has plenty of things that make her unique.

The door creaks open, and in walks 19-year-old Mackenna Sahara. She's an intriguing character with a poised posture, and an air of confidence mixed with a touch of mystique. She swiftly saunters into the room, her eyes shifting around the room (and not quite looking at me) as she slowly takes in her surroundings with a slightly raised eyebrow. She hasn't seemed to notice my presence yet...

Her striking appearance matches her personality - long, shiny, sleek jet-black hair cascading down her back, piercing dark eyes that seem to analyse everything, and a small, mischievous smile that hints at her quick wit. She stands at about 5'8", which only adds to her commanding presence.

She doesn't acknowledge me at all until I greet her, and when she does, she extends a hand. As we shake hands, I notice that her grip is rather firm, almost challenging.

1) Are you named after anyone?

Mack: Oh, darling... I'm far too unique to be named after someone else. Can you imagine me being named after anyone else? Preposterous! (laughs) I'm just playing with you! I have no clue where my name comes from. That being said, I like it quite a lot. I think it's cool, you know? It certainly sounds unique. I like to think that my name was carefully selected by my parents to match the brilliance and that enigmatic vibe that I inherently give off.

2) When was the last time you cried?

Mack: Cried? Me? (laughs) I like, never cry. Ever. Unless you count crying tears of boredom. That's me during every assembly I have at school, pretty much. (laughs again) Hmm. But if we're talking about legitimate crying, well, let me think. Oh, yes, it was last week! When I saw the price of a mega hot designer handbag. (sighs) I had my eye on it for months. My wallet cried for mercy and I had to join in.

Me: What?

Mack: What? Crying's contagious!

3) Do you have kids?

Mack: Oh, dear God, no! I'll leave the parenting to those brave enough to handle it. Leave me out of that narrative, please and thank you!

4) Do you use sarcasm?

Mack: (rolls her eyes) Dude, sarcasm is like a second language to me. I sprinkle it into conversations like confetti. It probably isn't necessary all the time, but I like it... it keeps things interesting. Like, if I didn't do it, every conversation I have would be as dull as a monotonous PowerPoint presentation. Or a school assembly.

5) What's the first thing you notice about people?

Mack: Oh, where do I begin? I notice quite a lot about people I meet in a short span of time. Ok, so I suppose the first thing I notice is their fashion sense. If they can't put together a decent outfit, it's like a red flag of incompetence. I don't mean to come off as overly superficial...

Me: Oh, no. You don't sound it at all...

Mack: But I personally believe that the way that you dress and the way you present yourself and carry yourself says a LOT about you as a person! I hate to say it, but I DO judge people based on their appearance. In fact, I believe that pretty much everybody does, whether they acknowledge it or not. But I think that's kind of what I notice first, in a nutshell. The way a person carries themselves. I mean, from outfits, I then move on to their posture, their body language, and the way they talk. I can tell a lot about a person from their demeanor. And, of course, their ability to keep up with my wit. If they can't match my level of banter, well, it's quite disappointing. And when I'm disappointed, I don't bother with that person any longer. They're dead to me. Which... now that I'm saying it aloud, could probably explain why I've been single for so damn long! (laughs) My standards are way too high.

6) What's your eye color?

Mack: Brown. Really dark brown... so dark that they almost look black. But I'm not going to say black, because I don't know whether that's even possible. I really like my eyes! The shape, the colour... everything. Plus, people often say that they're pretty.

7) Any special talents?

Mack: Special talents? Oh, I don't know... I'm kind of funny sometimes? People sometimes tell me that my repertoire of snarky comebacks could put any stand-up comedian to shame, so... Stand-up looks hard, though. Other than that, I can paint! And draw. I'm a pretty solid artist.

8) Scary movies or happy endings?

Mack: Happy ending, I guess. I mean, both options sound stupid - I like being surprised by an ending. But I don't do scary movies. I have no desire to subject myself to unnecessary terror and jump scares. I much prefer a delightful romantic comedy with a predictable yet satisfying happy ending. Life is already filled with enough drama; I don't need to add ghosts and monsters into the mix.

9) Where were you born?

Mack: I was born on planet Krypton. (pauses) Joking. I was born in Wales, but I moved to London when I was two.

10) What are your hobbies?

Mack: You mean, aside from gracing the world with my presence? (laughs) Kidding, don't worry. Um... I already mentioned art, didn't I? Well, speaking of art, I also tend to dabble in the art of people-watching. There's nothing quite like observing the little absurdities and idiosyncrasies of everyday human behaviour. And, of course, reading. Fuels my insatiable thirst for knowledge and provides me with a vast arsenal of interesting crap to say in a conversation. Oh, and I also enjoy the occasional game of chess. Not that I'm any good, but still.

11) Do you have any pets?

Mack: Not at the moment, no. But perhaps one day, I'll stumble upon a feline or canine companion that I can stroke and snuggle and play around with.

12) What sports do you play/have played?

Mack: Sports? (laughs) Oh, dear, that's amusing. The closest I've come to playing a sport is watching Wimbledon on television while sipping an iced tea. I don't do sports!

13) How tall are you?

Mack: I stand tall and mighty at 5'8". It's that perfect height for intimidating those who dare challenge me.

Me: People challenge you?

Mack: Well, no. But I think I'm just one of those people that just takes up space, both physically and metaphorically. May as well embrace it.

14) Favorite subject in school?

Mack: Oh, school! I'm good at pretty much everything, but if I had to choose a favourite subject, it would be English Literature. The opportunity to dissect and criticize the works of renowned authors is just pure bliss for my judgmental soul.

15) Dream job?

Mack: My dream job, you ask? I'm not sure. I have a lot of dreams. I dream of being an actress. I dream of being an artist. I dream of being a businesswoman, or an entrepreneur of some kind... I even dream of being a teacher.

Me: Really? How interesting!

Mack: Yeah... I don't know, though. I lean more towards businesswoman most of the time, but it changes all the time.

Me: Well, I'm sure you'll figure yourself out eventually.

Mack: Me too. And no matter what I'll choose, I know I'm going to be good at it.

Me: I'm sure you will... anyway, we should wrap up now. This has been a delightfully entertaining interview. Thank you very much, Mack!
