20th Century Paintings part 2 / Schilderijen uit de 20e eeuw deel 2
Previously I posted some old paintings of my great grandfather and his contemporaries.
It were works that were not that good, and would be thrown away.
Now I present to you his better works that decorate the house of my family members.
I took pictures, and I upload them here, because it is important to archive and remember history.

What a delightful and handsome soldier he was. I have always adored vintage photos of this kind, call it a nostalgic fascination of mine. This is a Soviet Artillery Sergeant 1945. Name unknown 🔥📸

Soul mates
Written by Lorelai Fulmer
Romanticizing photos you don't even know
Living in memories from so long ago
You found love in 1945
Weren’t even there but
You remember their eyes
Something about them reminds you of home
Now you are searching for love you’ve never really known
Pulling at memories from your lover’s soul
Writing down stories that they always told
Listening to music to remind you of their style
And accidently kissing the corners of their smile
You fear you’ll never meet this girl you dreamed
Watching her run down past the stream
I found love in 1945
I wasn’t even there
But I remember your eyes
Something about you reminds me of home
Now I’m stuck searching for this life I don’t even know
I remember your fingers on my skin
Nothing compares to life back then
Maybe I’m crazy or maybe I’m dumb
But I think you remember the time of us
We found love in 1945
We weren’t even there
But we stood side by side
Something about us makes me feel whole
Now we’re out looking for the other piece of our soul

If you don’t care of your dandruff you will eventually erode away from the head down until there is nothing left, like Daffy Duck under a giant eraser in Duck Amuck.
