Would the Gods be pissed off to learn the Underworld and Tartarus are just one section of the Infinite Realms? You're telling me High King Phantom wouldn't stare at them like "well... I can't really fix that issue, guess I'm YOUR god now"

an interesting part to explore for a pjo x dc fusion is captain marvel. is billy allowed at camp? is camp jupiter frothing at the mouth to get him to live with them? do the mercury kids basically call dibs on him or does the Ares and Athena cabin jump down their throats to claim him? because billy has like a mythology support system now + chase space through Annabeth and Magnus + more egyptian magician buddies that might know more than him about black adam and that’s just a really intresting dynamic to explore.

The Justice League Dark has been receiving fucked up readings from the East Coast recently, in territory they know to be under the jurisdiction of the Old Greeks. This would have been fine, perfectly normal for the often infighting group, but then it spread to actual greek, proving a problem caused at the root.

So when trying to reach out and contact the Pantheon, they received nothing back, seeming to have hit a general block in communication, and many forms of Hellenistic divination have gone offline.

So they decide to step in, and take a trip to the Gods' seat of power, New York.

Quick snippet from a WIP.

John Constantine gets sent by the League to check out some weird reports about skeletons and ghosts in the woods. A wild Nico Di Angelo appears and is a snarky brat who radiates so much death the entire area reeks of it.

AKA I read a DPxDC crossover and though ‘hey. Nico Di Angelo and Constantine would be a fun combination. I want to read about them.’ Then realized no one had written that yet. So. New WIP. Tada.

Nico hesitantly slipped out of bed. Thankfully, he was still in his old clothes— which meant no one had changed him or anything. Thank gods. He checked to make sure his skull ring and Bianca’s figurine were still on his person.

Nico saw his shoes by the door and he slipped them on. The demigod quietly slipped out of the room to see a hallway with a staircase. He quietly walked down and walked through the various rooms. Nico finally found the front door and started to run towards it… only for a hand to grab his shoulder.

“Really didn’t waste any time there, huh?” John asked.

“Worth a shot.” Nico grumbled, “So is this a confirmation that I’m a prisoner?”

“Not quite.” John smirked, “I swore I wouldn’t tell CPS. Not that I was going to leave you in the woods — that was never an option.”

“So what? You’re going to have someone adopt me or whatever?” Nico crossed his arms as John guided him into the kitchen with a hand still on Nico’s shoulder.

“That was the plan at first.” John admitted as he pulled out a chair at the kitchen table and gestured for Nico to sit.

“And now?” Nico warily took the seat and watched John carefully as the man poured batter into a waffle iron.

John stopped pouring the batter and turned the waffle iron on. He turned to face Nico, “You’re obviously supernatural, but you’re still a kid. Kinda makes it hard for most people to keep you in one place. Plus, without a name or any information on what you are… I can’t do much in through the legal channels.”

“Uh huh. Nice try with the name thing. Not telling you.” Nico leaned back, “You don’t have a plan, then? So you’re keeping me here until you can find one?”

“I didn’t say that.” John rolled his eyes.

“So you got someone you’re going to pawn me off on, then?”

John smirked, “Nah. You’re twelve. six more years before you can go off on your own. Not all that long for you to stick around.”

“What are you…” Nico’s eyes widened, “Seriously?”

“Yep. You’ve been adopted. Congrats. Welcome home.”

“Do you even know anything about kids?” Nico asked skeptically.

“I know kids shouldn’t be living by themselves in the middle of the woods.”

“So you don’t.” Nico facepalmed, “This is going to be a disaster.”

“Probably.” John agreed, “But no one else has the means to keep you in one place.”

“We’ll have to see about that.” Nico said under his breath.

“Is that a challenge?” John teased— apparently having heard.

Yeah, Nico hated this guy.

(But he did make good waffles.)

Nico waited for John to wash the dishes before he jumped into the nearest shadow. He got ready to shadow travel… only for the couch whose shadow he’d been inside to move. Light spread onto the shadow Nico was still in and the lack of shadow left Nico sitting on the floor. The demigod looked up — disoriented from the sudden light — to see John smirking at him.

“Seriously?” Nico complained.

“Is that how you hid from me in the woods?” John asked, “You just… turned into a shadow?”

Nico flopped himself on the floor, “Pretty much. Should have risked shadow traveling while I had the chance.”

“Huh.” John blinked, “Haven’t heard of that one. What is that?”

Normally, Nico wouldn’t answer that. Shadow travel was his typical means of escape, but it clearly wasn’t going to be much help this time. If Nico was going to escape, he needed something unexpected. Besides, John seemed intent on keeping Nico safe and alive for some annoying reason. His abilities had their drawbacks and while Nico definitely didn’t like it, this guy could wind up being the only one there to help him if the demigod overworked himself.

“Exactly what it sounds like.” Nico sat up, “Hop in one shadow, travel to another. Can be anywhere in the world as long as I know it.”

“Not that I’m glad you didn’t just up and leave, but why exactly did you stick around in the woods?” John asked, confused.

“It takes energy.” Nico huffed, “And I’d recently had to use a lot of skeletons to fight like ten hellhounds and five empousa. I was hoping I could just leave and take a nap.”

“Well, you did get to do that.” John joked.

“Yeah, by getting kidnapped.”

“Come on.” John chuckled as he grabbed Nico’s arms and hoisted him to his feet, “Tour time… oh!“ The magician turned to the ceiling and gestured to the house, “Keep him from leaving or getting into too much trouble, will ya?”

In response, there was a thud. John turned around to see Nico pouting on the floor again and a chair several feet away. The house’s floorboards shifted around and slid the couch back into place as Nico stood up. The infamous Hellblazer laughed.
