Influencer Hannah Hook (Au);

The internet, tv, and wifi quality are all largely improved by Carlos’ invention (that also unintentionally punched a hole in the barrier briefly but who cares about that) and because of that many isle kids become influencers.

Including little eleven year old Hannah Hook who thinks others will find her life as entertaining as she does.

So starts making Royal Media accounts.

She becomes hannahhook7744 on Royallr, InstaRoyal, ZapChat, and just Hannah Hook on GraceBook.

She creates a Geniemail and makes fanfiction of all her favorite shows on Ro3 under the name ‘Slimeypirate’ after getting a nasty comment with the insult on one of her RoyalTube videos (in which she posts vidoes under the account names ‘Hannah Hook’ and ‘The Stormbringer Crew’).

And She just has fun with it because Hannah has nothing better to do.

And neither do her crew and family.

Hannah does anything and everything she can think of to keep her and others entertained.

She pranks the Coachmen, Judge Frollo, Mother Gothel, Cruella de Vil, Gaston, and even Maleficent.

She plays her favorite game ‘Piss off the Villain’ on camera and narrowly avoids getting shot on camera.

She plays all kinds of different games, does reactions, makes roasts, makes theories, and reads all her favorite books. Shows people how to go on an adventure and how to take care of little kids and even attempts cooking (as her friends beg her not to in the background).

Hannah even plays with fire and does circus tricks (which Hermie Bing joins her for).

Oh and she’s gotten into fights with her siblings on camera.

There’s even a live stream on her channel where she’s blasting one of the bad apples songs as she plays ‘Carriage Crush’ with a green toddler she calls ‘Harley’ in her lap and as her dad and uncle Jasper have a three hour long (violent) fight in the background until her grandmother breaks it up.

And another one where she and Luke play ‘Storm the Castle’ (with two toddlers in their laps) as Hans Westergaard, The Stabbington Brothers, Lady Caine, Stalyan, Brock Thunderstrike, Anastasia Tremaine, and Drizella Tremaine all argue (loudly) with Lady Tremaine in the other room.

While the other Tremaine and Stabbington kids (minus the youngest four Tremaines who are in the room with them) fight upstairs.

And another (24 hour) live stream where Hades is asleep in the background the entire time.

Even as Treycor and Alex throw knives at each other and Luke.

All posted on school nights/days.

And they have several videos where they're in the various restaurants of the isle. Eating food that wouldn't be up to code in Auradon.

Making food that wouldn't be up to code that they also eat.

And they even get tattoos once at 12 years old. After officiating a wedding.

Auradon is more than a little concerned.

And the isle kids are all just confused as they keep doing what they're doing.

Doing death defying stunts and games.

Summoning things (and screaming in fright when Hades walks into the room to ask them to stop).

Swimming and wrestling with crocodiles, Tigers, and sharks.

Giving the Auradon adults heartattacks in the process.

Note

In your thing, which parents on the Isle are actually half decent parents? Anastasia Tremaine, I know, and Fleur (while she was alive). Who else?

Well, obviously the ones you already said.

Then Dr. Facilier, who, by Auradon Standards, would be seen as borderline neglective towards Freddie, is a good parent by Isle standard, and for Celia, he‘s an awesome dad in general.

Murphy‘s dad wasn‘t bad, he just really didn‘t know stuff about kids, so Murphy had alcohol from when he was three or so.

Yzma is a good parent - to Yzla, that is. she‘s definitely beaten Zevon hard enough to break bones before.

Brock Thunderstrike, Stalyan, and Lady Caine (tangled the series) are pretty good too.

Hades can be a bit ignorant sometimes, but ultimately he loves his son and tells him so.

Shan Yu is not only taking care very well of his girls, he‘s also murdering his enemies and taking their kids in! also, he looks after Jay.

The Bimbettes are rather decent, too, they just can‘t speak up to Gaston.

The Smees are amazing - well, except for Mollie being dead of course.

Helga Sinclair does make her kids fend for themselves, but she‘s totally ready to murder someone to protect them when times get difficult.

The Ringmaster is a good dad, though he might need to learn that letting his eight year old play with a Jaguar isn‘t a good idea.

Ernesto de la Cruz passes as alright, since he does take care of Emma sometimes.

So, like, 1/5 parents fulfill the minimum requirements as parents.

The Great Pro-Wrestling Adventure Hour - 027 11/16/23 Defy TV 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST Filmed at the Good Time Theatre at Dorney Park in Allentown, Pennsylvania

SEGMENT ONE (EIGHT MINUTES):

- We are welcomed in by Sudu Upadhyay who is standing at the commentary booth, Raven is splayed out behind him on a mattress. Sudu wants to know where his chair is. Raven explained that he read an article about a study where they claimed sitting is unhealthier for your body than sleeping, so he had their chairs removed and replaced with a bed. Sudu asks if Raven finds it a bit unprofessional to be lounging in a bed during the broadcast. Raven said he considered that, and originally asked for their chairs to be replaced by hammocks, but you have to sit to get into a hammock so that was out. Sudu feigned surprise that the fans were still permitted to have chairs. Raven claimed it says a lot about the loyalty of CORE fans that they are literally shortening their lives by attending the show today. Raven offered Sudu a spot on the mattress, but he opted to stand.

- The Great Pro-Wrestling Adventure Hour opening aired set to "Black Swan Lake" by Janko Nilovic.

Invictus Khash, Hyan, and Kylie Paige vs. Miles Penn, Zane Jay, and Maggie Lee Invictus Khash, Hyan, and Kylie Paige defeated Miles Penn, Zane Jay, and Maggie Lee with the Code Red from Kylie on Lee.

SEGMENT TWO (EIGHT MINUTES):

- We returned from break to Invictus Khash, Hyan, and Kylie Paige being interviewed by Sudu. Kylie appeared poised to make an announcement when she was interrupted by Kenzie Paige. Kenzie asked to speak with her sister privately, Kylie reluctantly agreed and the two headed to a side exit to talk outside. Kenzie held the door open for Kylie, and as she walked through Kenzie slammed the door behind Kylie, locking her outside. Sonny Kiss, Trench, Joshua Bishop, and Big Dan Champion of the TrustBusters and TrustBusters Reserve appeared and attacked Khash and Hyan. Trench held Hyan open for repeated strikes from Sonny while Khash was Bishop Bombed through a concession table. Giant Baba Yaga and Fuego Del Sol ran out from backstage and chased off The TrustBusters. Kylie got back into the building through the main entrance and confronted Kenzie. Kenzie said she agreed to create a distraction in return for Kylie not being attacked. Kylie kneeled by Khash and Hyan as Fuego and Baba Yaga stood over them and told Kenzie that she doesn't need her sister to look out for her anymore, because she now has people in her life she can actually trust.

The Andersons (Brock Anderson and CW Anderson) vs. Storybook Prince Gaston and Matt Williams The Andersons defeated Storybook Prince Gaston and Matt Williams with a spinebuster from Brock on Gaston.

SEGMENT THREE (NINE MINUTES):

"King Of Jersey Shore" Zack Clayton vs. Jessie Godderz Zack Clayton defeated Jessie Godderz with the fisherman's buster.

- Daphne Oz is at the CORE news desk for another edition of the COal REgion Roundup. - Oz announced that due to a recent injury, Chie Koishikawa will no longer be competing at Thanksgiving Tussle or taking part in the SHIMMER Tag Team Championship tournament. Her partner Sayaka will now be teaming with Sayaka Obihiro. - Daphne revealed that earlier in the broadcast before the attack from the TrustBusters, Kylie Paige was set to announce that Kylie and Hyan have been entered into the tournament. - While that attack may have robbed us of one announcement from Kylie it set up another. Daphne sent us to words from Kylie Paige to announce a new match for Thanksgiving Tussle that had just been signed moments earlier. In a 5-on-5 Strive To Survive match, we will see The TrustBusters of Sonny Kiss, Slim J, and JeeVeS Kay partner with The TrustBusters Reserve of Big Dan Champion and Joshua Bishop against a team calling themselves The Trust - Invictus Khash, Hyan, Kylie Paige, Giant Baba Yaga, and Fuego Del Sol. - Daphne closed out the segment by confirming that after missing his last two scheduled matches, Shaw Mason is in the building tonight and will be appearing next on the broadcast.

SEGMENT FOUR (NINE MINUTES):

Shaw Mason vs. Colton Cage Shaw Mason defeated Colton Cage by submission with the ankle lock.

- Shaw Mason made his way to the commentary booth after his match and asked the production truck to call up the footage he had asked for. We were shown a split screen close-up of Tim Bosby's singlet. Mason said the image on the left was from before Bosby tackled him under the ring in their match a few weeks ago, and the image on the right is from after Bosby reemerged from under the ring apron after Mason had allegedly been struck in the side of the head. Mason tried to draw everyone's attention to an outline he claims is visible in the before picture but absent afterwards, implying that there was a foreign object concealed in Bosby's singlet. The picture is quite zoomed in and it's very difficult to distinguish between the two. Mason then asks for before and after photos from Bosby's match with Tom Lawlor, and again claims to see evidence that is not nearly as clear as he insists. Hunter Holdcraft made his way out and said that he's really happy to see Mason again, but that he's worried about him. Holdcraft said that he really can't see anything in these images, and he doesn't think anyone else can either. Holdcraft suggests that Shaw might be having a hard time accepting that he lost to Bosby. Holdcraft said he's talked to CORE matchmakers, he's talked to Bosby, and he would like to see this settled. Holdcraft offered Shaw Mason a match at Thanksgiving Tussle against Tim Bosby with a special guest enforcer to make sure there's no cheating, Dan "The Beast" Severn. Mason agreed to the match.

SEGMENT FIVE (EIGHT MINUTES):

Starboy Charlie, Marcus Mathers, and Alex Taylor vs. Black Generation International (Action Jackson/Black Andromeda/Bendito) Starboy Charlie, Marcus Mathers, and Alex Taylor defeated Black Generation International with the Green Whistle from Taylor on Bendito.

- After the match Starboy Charlie got on the microphone and called out Titus Alexander. Starboy said it's time for Alexander to stop worrying about Eddie Kingston and face reality, Charlie challenged Black Generation International to a 6-on-6 Strive To Survive match at Thanksgiving Tussle '23 in Harlan, Kentucky. Titus Alexander made his way to ringside and accepted the challenge. Titus Alexander said he looks forward to seeing Charlie get put in his place, only it won't be by him because Titus will actually be on tour with Pro Wrestling NOAH at the time. But not to worry, as Black Generation International don't need him to take out The Southern 6. It will be The Southern 6 of Kerry Morton, "Thrillbilly" Silas Mason, Alex Taylor, and Kenzie Paige with Starboy Charlie and Marcus Mathers against the Black Generation International team of Kaito Ishida, Flamita, Keiichi Sato, Kotaro Suzuki, Black Andromeda, and Action Jackson.

SEGMENT SIX (THREE MINUTES):

Beauty and the Beast Ch.8 (Bucky x Reader)

We are getting closer and closer to the end, guys! I’m thinking I’m going to finish this one up since it’s so close, then focus on “His Shooting Star” and “The Prince and the Pauper”.

Summary: It took the kingdom of Hydra five years to finally take advantage of the disappearance of the Stark Kingdom. It took Prince Brock two weeks to make the small, unprotected village of Marveline hate his existence. His ways left Captain Rogers to go looking for help, hoping to find a royal family that could protect the people. But what happens when he hasn’t come back? It’s up to Bucky to find out what happened to his best friend and the royal siblings, but he never expected what’s to come.

Chapter 8

"I love him."

The words seemed to echo in Sam's mind as he tried to explain the situation to his friends and family. No one could grasp at the fact that Bucky was gone. Everyone thought it was going well and to hear the sound of Bucky leaving for the second time? They couldn't understand. The unspoken truth was that they were running out of time. And no one knew what to do. Fear was taking the lead.

"Everybody, calm down," Rhodey shouted, voice carrying over the arguments already filling the halls. "Give Sam a chance to explain."

All eyes were on him. He fidgeted slightly, knowing this would be a little difficult to explain. "She's...She's in love with him."

"Then the spell should be broken," a voice shouted, their face lost in the crowd.

"No, it's not enough." Wanda this time. Sam breathed a sigh of relief when she appeared not too far away from him. "The curse isn't merely a Stark falling in love, but someone falling for her as well."

"Does it count if he doesn't even know who she is?"

More murmurs and arguments arose, everyone wondering if that was true. Was that a legitimate fear? Were these secrets going to be what kept them in this cursed state forever?

"Enough." The tin voice rattled through their minds, cutting thoughts and opinions short. No one expected to hear that voice. Tony creaked his way down the hall, ignoring the concerned look that Rhodey sent his way. This was certainly not about him. "I know that our family hasn't done the best by you. The curse wasn't right and we - I accept full responsibility for the mistakes of my father. If there was a way to turn you all back, you know we would take it in a heartbeat. You all have been good, loyal people. And I'm sorry." A pin drop could be heard, the silence was so deafening. No one had really seen Tony in years. It was as if a ghost had walked into their lives. He stood, armor glinting even in the low light. If he could give that smug smirk and enjoy being the center of attention again, he might've. But these circumstances caused a different set of emotions to dance in his stomach - anxiety, fear, worry. "Well, don't everyone talk at once."

Awkward laughter cracked through the tension. It seemed that there might be a chance that everyone would adjust to his sudden reappearance with little to no issue. "It's good to see you here, Your Highness," Scott spoke, earnings nods of agreement and a few smiles.

The anxiety slowly melted away and Tony found himself feeling a little more at ease. It would all be fine. It would all be fine. "Well," he cleared his throat, the sound akin to a pebble dropped in a tin can. "Where is my favorite stable boy, huh?"

Heads turned, eyes searching for the boy Tony had taken under his wing before the curse had struck. Peter had made himself comfortable aiding Wanda in the kitchens, but before he was the best stable boy the kingdom had ever seen. Tony was eager to train him to be a knight some day, making it his mission. However, the two hadn't crossed paths in quite some time.

"He isn't here." The confusion laced in Maryjane's voice signaled that she hadn't expected that. Wanda, Sam, and Rhodey immediately scanned the crowd, panic starting to set in when they realized the little teacup wasn't among their friends.

Even so, their panic was no match for Tony's anger. "What do you mean? Where is he?"

Arriving home wasn't something that sat well with Bucky. He didn't understand it, but he felt like he wasn't coming home. It felt like he was leaving it behind. Dismounting the mare he had borrowed from Y/N's stables, he stared at the small house before him. Steve had to be here. He wouldn't be foolish enough to confront Brock and his men over and over. Not without backup. Right?

"Steve?" Bucky stepped through the doorway, gaze scanning and searching for any sign that his friend had been here recently. "Steve, please tell me you're here."

Nothing.

Making his way to the stairs, they creaked under his now foreign weight. He was hoping and silently praying that maybe, just maybe, Steve was sleeping hard enough that he didn't hear Bucky's arrival. But the sinking pit in his stomach reminded him that Steve had never been a light sleeper.

"Steve," he tried once more, opening the door that lead to his bedroom. It was empty, bed neatly made and fresh drawings hanging in the air to dry. Bucky clenched his jaw, trying not to let his fear bring up the worst possibilities. "Damn it..." His voice was barely above a whisper, trembling as he tried to keep the tears at bay. His choosing to trade places with Steve was what brought this mess on. It was his fault.

"Mister Bucky?"

That...That wasn't Steve. Bucky looked down at the satchel attached to his hip. It had been where he had stored the mirror, but there wasn't anything else in there. Or so he believed.

Peter nudged the flap of the bag open, grinning up at the man who stared at him in complete shock. "Hi!"

"What the hell are you doing here?" Bucky lifted Peter up, setting him on the bed and crouching before him. So many questions ran through his head. Did Y/N know? Were they looking for him? Why was he even here?

"I wanted to figure out why you left."

Bucky frowned. "Peter, you shouldn't be here."

"And neither should you. You should be with Y/N."

"No, I should find Steve." He rose, his mind already listing the different places Steve could be. The best one to check would probably be the tavern.

"You stay here."

"But -"

"Peter, stop. I don't have time for this." Bucky walked around the bed, closing the satchel as Peter hopped across the thin mattress. "Just let me find Steve and I'll be right back." The door closed behind him, silencing Peter before he could develop any sort of argument. Rushing down the stairs, he came to the front room as the not-too-distant sound of horses met his ears. What was that?

Opening the door, Bucky stumbled back when he came face to face with an unexpected guest. His hand instinctively grasped the leather at his side, his jaw clenching and shoulders tensing. "Brock."

"Hello, Barnes." The Hydra officer leaned forward, arm propping itself against the doorway and revealing the sight just behind him. Steve was in chains, unconscious and head cast to the ground, a hollowness to his face. He'd lost weight and the injuries did nothing to help keep his strength. The sight made Bucky's heart stop. This was what happened to his best friend? This was what he had caused?

"Steve..." He stepped forward, his mind instantly reeling and instinctively acting on all he could think of - instinct. He was stopped by Brock's hand pressing against his chest. His piercing gaze shifted to the officer before him. Oh, all Bucky wanted was to punch that smug grin off of his face. "Let him go."

"No." His grin turned into a smirk as he added, "I think I have a better idea."

The sound of shouting forced Peter to look away from the door and instead, to the window on the opposite side of the room. He hurriedly made his way across, struggling to finally reach the windowsill, but finding aid with the nearby chair. Breathing hot air against the cloudy glass, he squinted and struggled to make out the figures. "Bucky!" Hopping eagerly when he recognized his friend, Peter's brow scrunched when he noticed that someone was punching him. "No! No, stop it!" Peter spun around, looking around the room for some form of escape, but finding nothing that could be of any use. "Come on, there has to be something."

Bucky's knees hit the ground, arm unable to dodge the foot that kicked the back of his head. His face greeted the mud and he grimaced. It tasted disgusting. He grunted when one soldier twisted his arms behind his back, another yanking his hair back and forcing him up.

"So where were you, Barnes?" Rumlow asked, his voice closer to Steve.

Meeting Brock's gaze, Bucky sneered before spitting out grass and dirt. "Go fuck yourself."

Brock scoffed before gesturing for one of his soldiers to throw Bucky's bag his way. He caught it with one arm. "Let's take a look, shall we?" He watched the way Bucky's eyes flashed, the emotion something he didn't care to think too much about. Instead, he flipped the satchel over and spilled out its only contents. The mirror.

Bucky jerked, trying to free himself from the two soldiers. Through gritted teeth, he spat, "Be careful with that."

Brock smirked, tossing the satchel to the side before picking up the mirror. He didn't pay much attention to the reflection, instead flipping it over. The smug expression, that pleased glint in his eyes, it vanished at the sight of the insignia on the back. He turned his attention back to Bucky. "Where did you get this?"

Bucky grinned. "Bite me."

"You can never make things easy, can you? Always having to turn me into some sort of bad guy." Brock rolled his eyes and turned away, taking strides towards Steve. Bucky tensed when he saw one of the soldiers pass him a sword. "Do I have to ask again?" Stepping behind Bucky's oldest friend, he held the sword to Steve's throat. The look in Bucky's eyes earned an amused grin. "Where did you get the mirror, Barnes?"

Bucky's gaze never wavered from his unconscious friend. He couldn't fail him again. "I - The castle.”

"The only castle around for miles is Hydra's and this," he flipped the mirror around, showing the back to Bucky. "Isn't the Hydra insignia."

Bucky bowed his head, strands of hair shielding his face as he tried to blink away tears. "No, it isn't."

"So care to share with the group?"

Clenching his jaw, Bucky refused to look his way. Steve was the stronger of the two. Always had been. He was a good man, a fighter. He didn't deserve this. But if Steve was awake, if he could fight, he wouldn't want Bucky to say a word. The idea of Hydra getting the upper hand was something Steve would never let happen. Shoulders slumping, he couldn't help but wonder - how did it get this bad?

"Alright, have it your way." Brock tossed the mirror to Bucky's feet, the reflection staring up at him, mocking him. Bucky blinked, fresh tears slipping down his cheeks and onto the glass. He glanced up, seeing the sword raise. Steve might not want Hydra to win. But Bucky did not want Steve to die. His eyes grew as the sword came down, struggling to break out of the grip of his captors. "Wait!" The sword stopped only an inch away from Steve's neck. With his back to Bucky, Brock gave his soldiers a knowing smile. He turned to face Bucky, flipping the sword and striking it into the ground. "Yes?" Bucky's panicked gaze looked from Steve to the mirror and back. He could right this. He could help Y/N through whatever Brock had planned, but he couldn't save Steve if he was dead. Eyes never wavering from Steve, he said, "Show him. Show him everything." Brock's brow furrowed, confusion evident. It vanished as quickly as it appeared when he noticed the reflection in the mirror begin to change. Gone was Bucky's reflection, quickly replaced by the woods. It seemed to be traveling, showing the way to the castle that appeared just beyond the trees. Brock picked it up, eyeing the imagery carefully. It was dark, a looming structure he couldn't quite place the familiarity of. It wasn't until the image rippled again and showed a wild animal, a beast, that Brock dropped the mirror in disgust. "What the hell was that?" The sight of Brock's disgust made Bucky's stomach churn. Not so long ago, he would have reacted the exact same way. Now that he knew Y/N, the clear reaction only made Bucky angry. "She is a good person. Someone better than you could ever be." Brock laughed. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you have feelings for that creature." When Bucky's gaze never wavered, Brock laughed. "Are you in love with that thing? That beast?" Bucky jerked forward, fighting off the guards only long enough to rise to his feet. They pulled him back, a third soldier unsheathing his sword and pressing it to Bucky's neck. He didn't flinch, staring Brock down. "She's not a beast." "A 'she' is it?" Bucky growled. "Yes." "Careful, Barnes, you're sounding a little like a beast yourself." "She's good and kind. There's more humanity in her heart than you and your men combined." "She's a danger to your town's people." "No more than you, Rumlow," he spat. Something shifted in Brock's features. Bucky couldn't quite place it, but the sight sent a shudder down his spine. He clenched his jaw, flinching when Brock raised his hand, pressing the blade against Bucky's neck. It pricked the skin, allowing a slow trickle of blood to glide down his neck. "Let's see about that, hm?" Taking a couple steps back, he turned to his soldiers. "Let's pay this castle and its beast a visit!" Soldiers cheered, rising up with excitement and immediately going to their horses. Hand catching the shoulders of two nearby soldiers, Brock said, "Take care of these two. Make sure they can't follow us."

"Rumlow, I swear to whatever god there is that you will pay if you so much as touch her." Bucky tried to throw off the soldiers holding him back, ignoring the stinging pain that came from his neck. Brock looked his way and smirked. "You'll have to catch me first, Barnes." "Rumlow!" Bucky lunged, missing the sight of one of the soldiers raising the hilt of his sword. He was struck in the back of the head. Falling to his knees, the last thing he saw was Brock mounting his horse before everything went black. Peter's features were pressed to the glass to the best of his abilities. He fidgeted nervously. Bucky was unconscious like his friend. The soldiers were leaving to attack his home, his friends and family. And he was stuck here. "This isn't good. This is not good. Not good at all."

Once Upon a time in the hidden heart of France, a handsome prince lived in a beautiful castle, although he had everything he could have ever wanted he was selfish, cold, and unkind. His castle was filled with the most beautiful people, and all things gold.

His parties were lavious, and the village people only ever dreamed of attending themselves.

However on one fateful night an unexpected woman arrived. She asked for shelter from the storm, offering a single red rose for his kindness. However the prince was repulsed by her haggard appearance and turned her away back into the cold of winter. Before the door could shut she warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within. Her skin and cloak melted away, to reveal a beautiful enchantress.

The Prince begged for forgiveness, but she refused, for she could see that there was no love in his heart.

As punishment she transformed him into a hideous beast, and placed a spell on the castle, and it’s inhabitants.

As months bled into years, the prince and his servants were forgotten by the villagers. The castle was now hidden by vines and rose bushes deep into the forest. For the enchantress has erased the town folks' memory of the royal family. But the rose she had offered truly was enchanted. As the beast grew older, the rose stayed the same. But now in his 21st year, the rose was starting to wilt.

But if he could learn to love another by the time the last petal fell… the spell would be broken. If not, he would be doomed to remain a beast for all time.

As the years went on he fell into despair and lost his hope… for who could ever learn to love… a beast.

“Bonjur!”

“Good Morning (Y/N)”

“Where are you off too”

“To return this book to the library, it’s about two lovers in fair verona.” You were a romantic at heart, but god forbid anyone find out.

“Sounds boring…” The baker grumbled with a slight chuckle before walking off. You followed your usual path towards the library, hoping for any new books, but you were doubtful because in your small corner of the world the amount of people who actually knew how to read? Well lets just say that number was miniscule at best. You dodged angry market folk arguing about eggs being too expensive and slipped into the shop, the bell ringing just above your head.

“Ah good morning, where did you run off too this weekend?”

“Good morning!” You cheered, “Northern Italy, it was simply wonderful. I don’t suppose you have anything new for me?”

“Sadly no, but you’re welcome to anything else on the shelf.”

“Thank you…” You hummed, skimming your fingers over the dusted and used stem of the books in the shop. Picking out one about a princess and prince you tucked it under your arm, and grabbed your basket of groceries. “See you tomorrow!” You called, as the librarian chuckled before waving you off. Slipping back into the crowd at the center of the village, you began flipping through the pages, absorbing all the knowledge about the characters you could.

“Here’s where she meets prince charming, but she won’t discover that it’s him till chapter three.” You hummed, slipping in and out of groups of people and maneuvering around sheep as the shepherd tried his best, but ultimately failed to contain them all.

“(Y/N)!”

Brock… You internally groaned. Brock was what the village deemed, a hunk. Truly a misfortune since his brain was full of misguided judgements and specific roles women had to play. In his eyes you were nothing more than another one of his prey, a grand prize of sorts to be mounted to his wall.

“Good morning Brock.” You spoke as cheerful as possible, your nose still stuck in the book, hoping and praying he would go away. Alas your plan was to no avail… He continued to go on and on about how you two should be wed immediately, and how lucky you were to marry such a gorgeous specimen.

“If you think so highly of yourself, marry your reflection.” You huffed, glancing up at him through the stray hairs that lay scattered in front of your eyes. “No need to deprive yourself of all the me time you could want.”

“The whole town's talking about it. How a woman shouldn’t read, because then she starts getting ideas, and well we don’t want that now do we.”

“Brock you are absolutely primeval.” You muttered stuffing the book into your basket and crossing your arms.

“Why thank you my dear.” He grinned, causing you to chuckle and roll your eyes. “What do you say we take a walk over to the tavern and have ourselves an engagement announcement?”

“A what?!” You hissed, holding back from punching him square in the jaw. The thought of even kissing this fool made you want to puke, no less marrying him.

“I can’t, I’m sorry I have to go home to help my father.”

“That crazy old bat needs all the help he can get… from the asylum!” Brock's sidekick chortled, his shoulders shaking with every laugh.

“My father is a genius!” You shouted, and Brock stopped his laughs as best he could while punching his sidekick, Zola, square in the jaw.

“Sorry about that dearest, he was only joking!” Brock hissed, stepping in front of his sidekick and giving you a shit eating grin, leaning down close to your face. You coughed at his smelly breath and turned away once again sticking your nose in your book and hoping he would finally leave you be.

“Papa?” You called, as you shut the door behind you. Carefully setting the groceries down on the table you still had yet to put the book down. “Are you home?”

“Down here!” Tony called, and a small pop of an explosion went off before him in the basement. “Not for long.” He coughed, as he made his way up the stairs only to find you rushing towards him, arms out and a damp rag in your hands.

“Papa you’re going to lose an eye like that!” You scolded one hand on your hip as you began to wipe away at his face. Tony swatted away at your hand as he took the rag from you.

“Yeah yeah, what else is new. If becoming rich costs me an eye then so be it. Mr. Richards down the way lost an ear! You don’t hear his daughter complaining.”

“Papa, his daughter is a common whore who doesn’t live at home anymore. Besides it’s not like they got rich from him getting too close to his son swinging the axe. If anything they got even poorer.”

“Woe is me.” Tony gasped, placing the back of his hand to his forehead dramatically. “I see our town's favorite suitor is still trying to get your hand in marriage.”

“If I wouldn’t be thrown in the town dungeon for cutting off his manhood I would have done it already. I pity the poor woman who ends up with that vile creature.” You huffed, beginning to put away the loaf of bread, and vegetables you picked up at the market.

“The baker is still selling his same old bread and rolls I see?” Tony chuckled, sitting down at the dining room table, flipping his glasses on and beginning to work on another gadget at the table.

“Every morning, just the same. Since the very first morning we came. To this poor provincial town. They judge us Papa, we deserve a better life than this. They call me strange, and say my head is up in the clouds!” Your hands waving around in the air frantically as you grip a bundle of carrots in your hand for supper.

“Okay well before we make any rash decisions, don’t go throwing vegetables around the cabin in a fit of rage.”

“They say I’m dazed and distracted, all because I’m a girl who knows how to read!” You huff, harshly turning around to face him. One hand on your hip, the other running a finger through your tousled hair. “They call you a crazy loon dad.”

Tony rolls his eyes and waves his hand towards you.

“Let them say what they want dearest. Your mother and you believed in me and that's all that matters. Besides, they're just jealous. I'm a genius and we're going to be rich soon. Now if you’ll excuse me my dear, I am off to the fair.” Tony stood up and clapped his hands together moving around the table to gather his things together.

“Take good care of him Jarvis.” You grinned giving the horse a gentle kiss to his snout as your father latched the cart to the steeds back. “And you, take care of my boy.” You spread your arms out and wrap your father in a huge hug. He laughs and shakes his head, wrapping his arms around you.

“Of course silly. I always do.” He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of your head before climbing on the back of Jarvis and riding off, a shit eating grin plastered across his face. You wave as you watch him take the path leading into the woods. Darkness begins to fall across the town as you make your way back to your home, going to curl up by the fireplace with a quilt and a good book.

“Coming!” You called, standing up from your spot beside the fireplace. You carefully opened the door, knowing you weren't expecting any visitors.

“Hello my dear! It’s your lucky day.” Brock cheered, and you peered around his shoulder, a horrified look on your face as the sound of a band played in your front yard to the tune ‘here comes the bride.’

“Brock… What a pleasant surprise.” You grumble, crossing your arms over your chest and leaning away from his face as he leans in.

“Well of course it is. I am just full of surprises. And there isn’t a girl in town who wouldn't want to marry such a fine specimen such as myself you know.”

“I think I could name a few…” You hiss, taking a few steps back from him and he takes that as an invitation to follow you into your home.

“This is the day all of your wildest dreams come true.” Brock fixes his hair in the mirror by the door before turning back around to look at you. Your hands are resting on your hips, balled into fists as you shoot daggers at him with your eyes.

“And what do you know about my dreams?”

“Plenty. Picture this, a perfect wedding. The whole town is invited, we head home to our hunting lodge. And soon after you are with child. We’ll have six or seven of course.”

“Six or seven dogs.”

“Ha and a sense of humor? Perfection. No dear, six or seven children.”

“Imagine that…” You mumble, putting the book you were reading back on the shelf and Brock cornered you between the door and himself. “I’m truly speechless, I don’t know what to say.” Your hand fumbles with the door knob behind your back as you make a quick escape. You kick the door out from behind you, and duck under his arms as he leans in to kiss you. You give a hard shove as he trips and falls out the front door landing into the pile of horse manure you had yet to take care of for that week. You slam the door shut behind you and quickly lock it, chuckling as you hear the band strike up loudly before Brock yells and they immediately quiet down and stop playing.

The pounding of hooves, your own heart beating heavily in your chest, and the snarling of wolves were all you heard as Jarvis carried you further and further into the dark forest. Snow began to litter the ground as your grip on the reins tightened.

Just an hour earlier you had awoken from your place by the dimly lit fireplace, to the sound of shrieking and loud neighs coming from outside. Confused, you pushed the hair from your face and groggily stood up. As the neighs got louder you threw the blanket from your shoulders and bolted out the front door, looking over the hill as Jarvis came racing towards you.

“Woah boy, easy easy…” You cooed, as he approached you, his breathing heavy as his hooves stomped at the ground ripping up the grass beneath him. “What’s wrong…” You whispered, scanning him for any obvious injuries. When you noticed he had none you took note of his missing passenger and carriage.

“Where's Papa? Can you take me to him?” The stallion seemed to nod as he let out a heavy breath. You climbed onto your back and kicked him forward before you even had a second to think.

“Careful Jarvis!” You cried as he knocked you into tree branches as he came to a sliding stop.

The wolves seemed to back off, now frightened of whatever laid beyond the castle walls.

Mustering up enough courage, you brushed the snow and twigs from the cloak that was draped around your shoulders.

“C’mon boy…” You whispered, taking the Belgian horse you grew up with up to the stables. The castle towered over you with a dark presence. You shivered, not because of the cold but because you could feel eyes on you as you tied the horse up to the stalls mumbling an ‘i’ll be back’ as you slowly made your way towards the front steps. Blood caked your right shoulder, ruining the white cloak you had been gifted by your mother before she passed, and you hissed as you shifted it along your shoulders. The wound opened again and you could see small claw marks.

One of the wolves had gotten to you, and you had only prayed Jarvis was alright, and didn’t have any serious injuries.

As you approached the top step you knocked harshly on the door three times and waited… No answer.

“For the love of…” You muttered pushing the door open only to be met with the interior of the castle whose darkness matched the exterior.

“Hello?” Nothing.

“Papa?” Silence.

The only sound that could be heard was the sound of the wolves howling in the distance outside, and the sound of your shoes against the concrete floors.

“You just couldn’t keep quiet could you! You hot headed fool! Serve him tea, sit in Bucks chair, pet the dog, put his feet up.” Sam grumbled waving his wooden arms around the place.

“I was being friendly. You should try it some time.” Steve chided, shooting Sam a harsh glare as he shoved his arm.

“There's a girl in the castle!” A teacup appeared behind the two friends, bouncing up and down whilst trying to contain his excitement.

“Ha! Nice try Peter.” Steve laughed, reaching down to rub at the top of his head.

“No really! I saw her! I really really did!”

“Oh yes and I saw a pig flying out in the garden yesterday afternoon. Looks like we're all finally going mad.” Sam rolled his eyes, turning his body to face away from the two and looked down the hall. “My gods…” He whispered in a hushed tone but Steve still had heard him.

“Is a pig finally flying Samuel?”

“M-M-M-My…”

“Pig got your tongue?” Steve let out a boisterous laugh turning around to guide Peter over to where his mother was impatiently waiting for him to hop back onto the cart, when Sam whipped him back around, his hands on either side of his face. And there she was at the end of the hall walking slowly towards them.

A long white cloak joined at the base of her neck with a red and gold gem, there was a tear in the side of the cloak that looked like a wolf's claw marks, and dried blood gathered across the wound. Steve groaned internally, Buck would not be happy about that when he found out. The dress she was wearing was light blue and it was covered with dirt, a bit of blood and some rips. Her hair was covered by the hood, but he could tell there had to have been a few twigs intertwined with the pieces of (y/h/c) hair that stuck out beneath the hood.

“Sam?”

“No, absolutely not.”

“Why not!” Steve practically yelled, somehow keeping his voice a whisper. “She could be the one to break the spell!” Before Sam can even respond, Steve is already hopping down off the table they were on and making his way towards the mantle she would soon pass.

“Papa?” You called out again, the hushed voices coming to a halt as your voice echoed through the dark corridors. “Who’s there?” The moonlight that shone through the crack in the curtains did little to aid you in maneuvering around the dark hallway. As you turned a corner a gold candelabra was lit up, the light glowing and illuminating the space around you. “Thank god.” You whispered, grabbing hold of the stem.

“I’m not a god m’lady,”

“Who said that!” You shrieked, turning around abruptly moving your arm out to stick the candelabra outwards only to be met with the stone wall of the castle.

“I did!” You feel movement in your hand and squeeze your eyes shut.

“I know a candle did not just talk to me…”

“Actually my dear, I’m a candelabra not a simple candle.” You jump when he talks again, letting him clatter to the floor. “Okay, ow… didn’t your father ever teach you not to drop your talking decor on the floor? You’d think with how well he took to us you would have been the same.”

“My father?! So he is here?” Your heart leapt at the thought of finding him and hugging him as tightly as you could manage. The candle nodded and began hopping off down the hall towards a large wooden door. Carefully, you took a few steps forward and soon he was leading you up a winding staircase, about every floor you passed had at least one cell and you prayed your father wasn’t in one and his room was simply just at the top.

Your heart stopped as the candle stopped and dipped his head slightly, motioning towards the cell. You were freezing and brought your cloak closer around your body for any bit of warmth you could manage.

“Papa!” You shouted lunging towards the door, your hands connecting with his. “Your hands… they’re as cold as ice!”

“Y/N?! You shouldn’t be here! You have to go!”

“Wh-What?” You breathed, cupping his cold face with your hands. Shaking your head you began to frantically search the floor around you. “No no I’m not leaving without you. Who did this to you?” You asked, eyebrows furrowing in anger as you heard the candelabra move closer towards you.

“I don’t have time to explain, but please go now before it's too late!”

“I am not leaving without you!”

You jumped and whipped around as a loud thud came from behind you. Towering over you was a large figure, his face and body hidden within the shadows.

“What have you done to him!” You screamed using the bars of your fathers cell to scramble to your feet without having to look away from the looming figure.

“The master of this castle and these lands.”

“Please, let my father go! What could you possibly want from him! He’s sick and he’ll die here please!” You cried, tears threatening to spill from your eyes as your face grew hot with frustration and anger.

“He shouldn’t have trespassed here then.”

“I wasn’t even tresspasing!” Tony argued, while sick and about to double over due to sickness he still had fire in his eyes. The figure let out a low guttural growl, and you felt fear roll through your body.

“Just please let him go, take me instead!”

“NO! Y/N don’t you dare!” You whipped around to look at your father, his eyes pleading with you, he cupped your face as you held his wrists. “I’ve lived my life y-you still have your whole life ahead of you! You-you need to see the world you-” Before you could finish you were being shoved back a large paw clamping down on your shoulder. You stared at it, horrified, unable to move as he unlocked your fathers cell.

“My dearest…” Tony ran to you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders. “Please you can’t do this, you have to go!” You frantically shook your head, not able to even wrap your arms around him, the feeling of betrayal causing bile to rise in your throat.

“Move.” The beast grumbled, and you watched in horror as he grabbed your father and dragged him down the stairs, screaming after you. All you could do was lay there against the cold floor, your heart thumping against your chest as tears threatened to spill out of your eyes. That would be the last time you would ever see your father, and you had accepted that.
