Flying races with your dragons were actually what truly bonded you to your husband and vice versa. Not a lot of people will feel how it is to sit atop a dangerous flying beast and go anywhere you like, do anything you want to do. But Daemon is one of those few people that can.

Caraxes was so happy to make another friend (not that he's desperate for them). But you could tell. You didn't tell Daemon that of course, but the spice noodle nearly squealed in delight when you brought Meraxes with you - another friend!

To celebrate 600 followers (I’m delighted so many people are interested in my writing, thank you all so much), I’ve decided to reopen the Match Up event! It was certainly very popular the first time around :) I will be opening 20 spots for match ups, 10 for Harry Potter and 10 for House of the Dragon.

Also if you compare Hermione to a character like Annabeth functionally they have the same role within the story. They are there to drive the plot and be a walking encyclopedia for the reader/main character. And yet where Hermione gets shoved aside and all the cool shit she does happens in the background you get Annabeth doing badass shit right up front. Like, if Annabeth did any of the shit Hermione did it wouldn't be brushed off the way it was. If Annabeth made her family forget her, turned someone into a bug and trapped them in a jar, knitted hats to free elves, any of that shit then Percy would be beside her 100% he would be in awe and absolutely terrified at her power and dedication. But what we get from Harry basically amounts to "Thanks nerd. Anyways, what's my next task?"

(everyone lives though <3) - you first met george in a typical meet cute situation that most people would roll their eyes at. you dropped your books as george ran into you after he was trying to get away from filch. he helped you pick up your books and you became friends. maybe more acquaintances but you knew each other and said hi in the corridors. when he left hogwarts early you missed his presence greatly but you were able to connect again as you brought out flourish and blotts from the previous owners and became the new owner and manager. - you became even closer after both leaving hogwarts and then even closer after you both joined the order. - after the war was won you and george started living together. -every other weekend you would visit the burrow for dinner. - when you closed the shop early and george would be working late you pop in and see if they need a hand at the till. - whenever george is working on a new invention he'll show you, because his pranks are a type of art to you, especially the new charms and intricate products. - george thinks you look super cute in glasses, like super cute! - george brought you a fluffy pair of cat socks to wear around the house and you wear them all the time. you also have a cushion and blanket that's a cat that george brought. - speaking of cats you were able to wear him down to agree to getting a cat. you're trying to get him to agree on getting another one. - george will steal your romance books and memorise the lines of the love interests before telling them to you and teasing you about it. your boyfriend is repeating lines from the books you cherish most and he's such a dork when he does it. he likes doing it to tease you and to also see your reaction as you tell him to knock it off while you're trying not to show how flustered you are. obviously george can see through this and pulls you in to kiss you while smirking at your reaction.

Remus Lupin, with his worn-out copy of Percy Jackson, was lost in the world of demigods and mythical creatures. It was his refuge, a place where he could escape the harsh reality of being a werewolf and the growing distance between him and his friends. He felt the weight of the impending full moon, and the solitude gnawed at him.

In the opposite corner, Severus Snape scowled over his astronomy homework, resenting the interruption. The last thing he wanted was company, especially from a member of the infamous Marauders.
