She can sense she’s starting to tread close to wear his patience starts to wear. Sighing, she drops it and tries not to blush too hard when he cuddles her in closer.

John’s arms are crossed, eyebrows arched. He’s leaning back against the kitchen counter, looking just… unimpressed. He always does when she tries to keep her cool, tries to just… talk to him.

“Of course it is John,” she sighs, frustrated. “Just because you watched me for months doesn’t mean you love me or actually know me.”

He scratches at the corner of his jaw with him thumb, seems to ponder that.

“Alright, then,” he says. “What does, huh?”

She frowns. “…what?”

“Well the way I see it, I did the falling in love part right. I got to know you in public, in private, talking to all sorts of people. I know what you watch when you’re sad, I know what upsets your tummy, how you like your steak and that you don’t care for soup.” He shrugs. “Only difference from a traditional relationship is that you didn’t know it. And by your logic, maybe I know you better then. You didn’t have a chance to put on a pretty face and hide the parts you didn’t think I would like.”

She… she doesn’t know what to say to that. Feels like her brain has just taken a roller coaster ride with no harness - doesn’t know up from down anymore, left from right. Like she’s missed a step going downstairs and is tumbling into the unknown.

“Now all that’s left is your turn, isn’t it?”

Unusual cause he'd usually just come over and sleep on your couch, with your shoulder as his pillow

So you keep on poking and he blurbs out he doesn't wanna keep you from having fun with 'that guy'

And you're like, what are you talking about

So yeah, it turns out it's your brother, and you almost think he sounds relieved

So when he asks if he can still come over you're like sure hurry

And he thinks he hung up but he didn't so you just hear him giggling and yelling for chan telling him how he still has a chance and that he'll confess today cause he now knows how much he'd regret not doing it and he's so so happy and giddy and then he sees he hasn't hung up yet

So silence and then "please tell me you didn't hear that"

You and your brother always had a special bond. Even after he moved to the other side of the country to study in Busan, you still kept in touch! Finally, after half a year you could set up a meeting in your childhood café.

As you entered the place, you spotted your brother sitting in a booth and nostalgia hit you. You teared up and swiftly went over to your brother, pulling him into a tight hug. He held you tightly and when he pulled away he held you by your face, examining you and the things that had changed.

Still standing and holding each other, the bell rang above the door signaling that a new customer had entered. You were so submerged in your own bubble that you didn’t notice. After the long hug, you sat down and immediately started talking about everything and anything.

On the other side of the cafè sat a young man sulking. Han Jisung was your long-time friend and you were also his long-time crush. When he came into the shop, -not knowing that you’ll also be there and not alone- the first thing that he saw was an unknown man holding your face and the two of you looking rather fondly at each other. His heart dropped and he froze in place.

He thought of the times he tried to confess to you, but chickened out at the last moment…he thought about how it could be him holding you close instead of that man…He regretted it all deeply and just wanted to turn back time.

He texted the other half of 3racha if you could meet up for lunch somewhere else. You told them that there were too many people here and you wouldn’t be able to have a normal conversation with each other. That was a lie-of course- because the place was almost empty. It was only three more couples plus you and your brother, but as understandable, he didn’t want to stay and see the two of you.

You talked to your brother for about three hours in the cafè. That was the fastest three hours of your life, to be honest. He had a meeting and then he promised to visit your parents too, so your time ended here. Although he told you that before he goes back to Busan he’ll see you again and you can have a chat like this.

On your way back to your apartment you saw the three boys walking. You ran up to them and Chan and Changbin were just as excited to bump into you as you were. On the other hand, Han was unusually unbothered to see you. You thought he was just tired so you gave him a light side-hug. Channie told you that they had to hurry back because they were late for their next practice. You bid goodbye to them and they did too, except Han who just did a little bow and started walking. The others looked at him questioningly, but just let it go.

“He’s been like this since we’ve met…don’t take it to heart please,” Binnie told you and patted your shoulder. They repeated their goodbyes and you parted ways.

That afternoon when you got home and settled down, you got a text notification. Once you unlocked your phone, you saw that it was a message from Han. As you opened his text, you froze and your heart started to race.

After he went to practice, you still had the messages open and you just stared at them. You couldn't believe that this just happened. It was so random and out of nowhere but of course, you were incredibly happy and just couldn't believe that the boy you'd been pinning over liked you back.

After you snapped out of your trance, you realised that now you have two hours to make your apartment and yourself look presentable. You hurriedly went to take a shower and clean up the house.

Just as you finally got done with cleaning, you heard knocks on your front door. You nervously took a deep breath and went to open the door. Although you didn’t say that it was a date or anything like that, you dressed up a bit more fancy than usual. You thought about how awkward it would be if Han showed up in his casual practice clothes and that that’d make you feel like you misunderstood your earlier text exchange. But all your worries went away after you opened the door and a very cute and good-looking Hannie stood there, just as dressed up as you. He was wearing simple dress pants with a button-up, but he still looked so elegant, yet soft.

“Hi Y/nah! You look pretty!” Han said and both of you got flustered by his words.

“Thank you, Hannie, You look handsome too! Please come in!” You invited him inside and now you started to get more nervous.

After he got through the door he pulled up a small, but quite adorable bouquet. He held it up smiling big- “These are for you Y/nah!” -as you took it from him, you couldn’t stop smiling. You were feeling extremely happy and bubbly. Everything has been going great for you lately and tonight is just making it even better.

You were just looking at Hannie and suddenly he was right in front of you. He took your hands and rubbed the back of them with his thumbs. He took a deep breath- “Y/nah, I wanted to tell you how much I honestly like you and how glad I am that your brother is not your boyfriend.” -he laughed a bit embarrassed. “I truly admire you and you’re like the Sun when you enter a room. I feel honestly understood around you and you’re just one of the most loveable, kind and caring people I have ever met and that’s why I not-so-slowly feel for you…Y/nah I've never felt this way about anyone before, would you bless me by letting me be yours?” Han finished this speech and looked down at your hands in his while anxiously waiting for your reaction.

You were in complete awe and couldn't react normally so you just hugged him so so so tightly and whispered- “Yes yes and yes, Hanji a thousand times yes!” -into his ear while slightly jumping from happiness, but still hugging him.

Han was so relieved that you said yes that he started laughing at your reaction, but couldn’t refuse jumping softly with you. After your cute little moment, you pulled apart and looked each other in the eye, just smiling at each other.

Suddenly you felt yourself being pulled forward and then a pair of plushy lips landed on yours. In complete shock, you held onto him and melted into his kiss. It was a soft and delicate kiss, no tongue, no roughness. That kiss simply held all of your current emotions and feelings that you couldn't explain to each other in any better way than a tender kiss.

I wonder if the toa mata recognized themselves in their own memories from before mata nui.

I dont know, i think theres possibilities to be explored about that. Suddenly remembering yourself and what you find being a complete stranger is a common thing for amnesia plots i guess but also i think this could be even more jarring. Like a more genuine difference between killing machine and living being.

Its less a matter of nature vs nurture and more a matter of nature with a certain type of nurture. Nature dictates they are powerful and driven and well meaning, but the way they are brought up produces completely different people.

Their first taste of life was a sterile room with nobody but each other and a disembodied voice reading out their duties, establishing an arbitrary hierarchy within them, and then sending them to a glorified bootcamp where a ruthless instructor worked on making them into skilled combatants and nothing else, teaching them how to use their elements as tools and weapons without indulging in them; they got a vague sense of what and how a community feels like with the Av-Matoran - as outsiders, as its protective shield, there for them but not with them - only to get that stripped away from them too because their role as life saving tools to be preserved under glass just in case of a crisis was more important.

I wonder if the Toa Mata, the ones who were taken to the Koro of Mata Nui and listened to the Turaga's tales and reprimands and would have moved mountains for the Matoran who treated them like older siblings, return with their minds to things they said or thought or did from before the Island of Mata Nui and stop in their tracks. Whose memory is that, they think? That can't be mine. I am not like that. My siblings are not like that. Some things are perfectly right, they cant deny that; but just as many if not more are so wrong that they almost feel like a really cruel joke somebody planted into their heads.

Kopaka and Tahu got along, even if they dont want to admit it because they need to bicker like children or theyll die, but are more surprised that they werent as tentatively close with anybody else. Lewa remembers so much frustration and tedium and anger that if he stalls in his memories too much he genuinely starts feeling queasy, Pohatu has remnants of bitterness and passive aggression that still cling to him like the smell of a cigarette on someone who gave up smoking, and they both hate that because its nothing like them. Onua and Gali feel like theyre peering into some kind of imperfect clone's brain when they try to remember - its themselves, they know that, it has to be, but there are certain things they know about themelves that are just completely missing and its kind of dizzying to realize that.

Im not even sure they liked each other. They work together because its their destiny, but they don't seem to seek each other out for fun or anything else. In their training days they had to be shoved in each others direction or they would have never solved their obligatory group assignments.

I wonder if their terrors and flaws could partially come from this first life that they had too. Gali's fear of her anger and Lewa's disregard for duty stemming from Hydraxon's methods - she internalized his reprimands about feeling guilt for living enemies, but without any memory of him she believes the words resurfacing in her mind from time to time are her own, and is appalled by their cruelty; he was forbidden from enjoying himself, from indulging in any form of fun, of entertainment, of joy, and unconsciously now he rebels by shirking away from responsability to do whatever he wants.

The responses to Tahu's decision regarding the codrex haunt him, the whole situation, really; how he stripped his siblings of any say on their fate because he was the leader, not even telling them or explaining himself until they had no other choice, and if he could treat them like that once then what would stop him from doing so again and again until he doesnt even think about it? Kopaka is uneasy about it too. He knew the plan and supported Tahu only because he tagged along, but hes very, very acutely aware that he would have been left just as much in the dark as everybody else otherwise, and he would gave not even had anybody to seek any comfort from because hes fairly certain none of the others would have liked him enough to care.

Onua as @cantankerouscanuck pointed out to me mightve taken Hydraxon's teachings to heart, hence why he's so quiet: no use in expressing weakness, right? But karda nui must have been hellish on his senses, with all that light - a tangible physical discomfort that would bleed out into an emotional one as he becomes conscious of how none of his siblings go through this, thus he must be damaged in some way, faulty, out of place, and so he seeks to be alone, digging himself away. And its not hard to imagine how Pohatu (who hasnt had the chance to grow into the affable, kind toa his siblings can always lean on when they need to yet) would become convinced of his uselessness within the team and seethe about it.

They arrive on Mata Nui as broken war machines with no clue who they even are and suddenly find nature and community and love, and in a moment theyre people.

I wonder if the environment helped. Being thrown upon a beach in the open air with nothing but a whole world that is so alien and yet feels so right beckoning them to come closer. Discovering their powers and their domains freely, immediately - first thing they did was dive into their respective elements without a second thought, naturally magnetized, taking after them like it was the simplest thing in the world, because they are the first toa, the first beings capable of harnessing these powers in their whole universe, and its in their nature to be so connected to them. Maybe it helped. Maybe it made them feel connected to their own selves enough to figure themselves out in a way they couldnt have done so before.

Maybe it helped to find out their collective destiny each on their own, in their own environment, at their own pace, surrounded by younger siblings who look at them with awe and curiosity and frustration sometimes, guided by people who know how being alive works with all its good parts and messy bits and who can tell what having so much power means when youre barely aware of how to use it or what to do. And maybe it helped to find out who their siblings were in a similar way, introducing themselves as they wanted, as they felt like, without a specific order, and learning to recognize each other as siblings with all the things that make them insufferable and all the things that make them the best and what makes them happy and what makes them angry and how they sound when theyre worried and how likely they are to chase you down to the other edge of the island for doing something stupid, and like real people they grow and develop and change and stay the same, and then they meet the memory of themselves from before becoming people and its...

Idk. Its like the realization of who they used to be and the distance between themselves and those selves, and the fact that they dont like them.

Ruin explained that he copied some of Solar's code and gave it to Eclipse which is why he has become the way he is, or as Ruin said "slightly better than your previous self" Eclipse can keep denying it but he really *is* trying to bring Solar back and it makes me so happy SOBS If Eclipse does get redeemed and Solar comes back, I want these two to be like twins!!

Also, the part when Ruin brought up Earth and how she needs to learn to be cruel, and Eclipse told him "Why don't you leave her out of the conversation?" I was like "Protective Eclipse? Eclipse's motivation on bringing back Solar?? Either to say HE ECLIPSE THEIR MOST HATED DUDE, brought him back. or like... Ive seen the theories of switching them out. Either way he's a bit motivated by the fact he hates everyone and hates what solar had. No one would mourn eclipse.

Trust Me, It Doesn't Happen

A little lil break up conversation between the songbird and ascended astarion. There's no way in the 9 hells they'd become a vampire spawn for him, and I dont imagine he could stay with them without that control so... Also this is the stuff ive been working on for my dnd campaign and when I tell you I've made 3 players and myself cry in sessions so far and we havent even had a group session 1 XD

“People think the greatest threat to a vampire is a cleric with a stack. It’s not. The biggest threat to a vampire is another vampire.” The words rang in their ears from months ago, the way he used to sound. Now, Astarion sounded and moved a little too perfectly. It felt unreal.

“You wouldn’t be just another spawn. You’re far more than that to me.” He looked so truly wounded by the hesitation, yet there was something missing. There was nothing behind his eyes, the mask now fully affixed to his face obscuring any truth behind it completely.

He could see the conflict in their face as their eyes studied him frantically. “They’re scheming, paranoid, power hungry beasts.” His old voice continued in their memories as they took another step away from him.

“I’d never want to control you.” He stepped forward, advancing as he saw them pulling away from him. With each step back they took, he advanced, looming as they shrunk. “I-”

“So why would any vampire give up control over a spawn? To create a competitor?” Pain formed on their face as his old voice overlapped his new.

“Love you.” He looked so sincere, so warm, but his voice sounded just like the first time he’d ever said it. When he was lying.

“They wouldn’t.” Astarion could see Tav visibly wince, as if someone were twisting a knife in their side before all emotion drained from their face.

“That’s what you’ve been waiting to hear, isn’t it?” He was so sure of himself, he hadn’t realized he’d already lost them.

“Trust me, It doesn't happen.” Tears welled in their eyes as they took a deep breath in and sighed out to the memory,

“I do trust you…” They squeezed their eyes shut, tears streaming down their cheeks. “I’m sorry,” They gasped. “I can’t…”

Astarion perfect face twisted with a hint of confusion, his head tilting slightly as Tav answered his ghost. “What was that, little love?”

“This is over, whatever it was.” They let the ring drop to the floor. “I won’t be your Astarion so you can play Cazidor.”

Anger bloomed in him, instantly blossoming into aggression as he got in their face, nose to nose with them. He’d yelled at them before, but never like this. “How dare you-”

“Then tell me that’s not exactly what this would be.” They pleaded with their eyes just like they had so many times just before he'd fail them. "Tell me and I'll believe you."

He fell silent, trying to wrestle his anger down quickly for a reply but his hesitation was answer enough for the bard. The Entertainer saw the Charlatan for what he was. They always had.

“You told me exactly what vampires do and I believe what you told me then.” There was so much pain in their eyes, but he couldn’t see past his own panic as they slipped through his fingers. “I believed the old you because at least you were honest about being a liar.

“You will regret this.” He hissed as his composure cracked.

“I’m sure I will.” There was a strange calm to Tav as all the walls came back up. “If I don't come by it on my own, I’m sure you’ll make me.”

you both were watching a movie together on the couch, the rest of the boys scattered around the living room. jay had made popcorn for you all since everyone — you, sunoo, niki and jungwon — were whining about having no snacks to eat while watching, which got on his nerves and made him get up to make popcorn.

since you moved to get more comfortable, your bowl of popcorn was now in your boyfriend's hands. heeseung had just gotten a handful of the snack and you were just too comfortable and warm to get them yourself that you just opened your mouth and bit the ones on his hand.

heeseung looked at you in disbelief and in amusement, a small laugh escaping his pretty lips at your antics. he found it adorable and at the same time amusing how you just stole his food and turned back to the movie, as if nothing had happened.

"babe!", he laughed and placed the popcorn on the table, hugging you tightly after. the other's attention was now on the two of you, all of them wondering why heeseung was laughing. "why did you do that? you could have asked, you know?", you just shrugged and slowly everything went back to what it was, everyone's attention back on the movie.

just when heeseung got another handful of popcorn, you acted again. biting the snack out of his hand as fast as you could, almost choking when he yelled out from laughing.

JAY!

you and your boyfriend were at an amusement park, having decided to commemorate your anniversary there. he had bought one cotton candy for himself only, since when he asked, you denied the offer because you didn't want to eat it before going on the rides. but, as you watched him eating it with a smile on his face from the sweet taste, you couldn't help but almost drool looking at the candy.

so, as sneaky as you could, when jay turned his face to look for the person who screamed, you took a bite of the sweet, quickly swallowing when your boyfriend turned back to you. you smiled so sweetly at him, that he didn't even notice the small bits of the pink candy around your mouth. jay simply laughed at your smile and kept on walking with you to the next ride.

"baby, i need to go to the bathroom. can you hold it for me?", your boyfriend asked you, motioning to the cotton candy he was holding. you nodded and took it from his hands, watching as his figure got smaller and smaller as he approached the bathroom.

for a while you could hold yourself, instead of thinking about the candy, you were watching people pass by and the ones on the rollercoaster in front of you, laughing at their expressions. but your entertainment was soon replaced by the cotton candy touching your hand gently, it was a hot day, so it was starting to melt the sugar onto your fingers. when you got distracted by it, you were long gone. soon enough jay was back, but his cotton candy was gone.

"you ate it, didn't you?", jay facepalmed, not even a bit amused with the situation in front of him. you just nodded, as if nothing had happened.

JAKE!

you, jake and the rest of the boys were in enha's practice room, celebrating heeseung's birthday together. everyone was having fun; eating, chatting, messing around. it was such a nice vibe that even the staffs were playing around with you all. they had ordered so much food that you were salivating to eat a bit of everything that was there.

though, the thing you wanted to eat the most was the tteokbokki. – everyone knew your love for it, especially your boyfriend. there was still some leftovers of bibimbap left on your plate, so you wanted to finish it before eating your oh-so-precious dish. the problem is: there was only one bowl left of the delicious dish on the table, the boys knew to leave that for you since you hadn't had a bite of it yet.

jake, your ever so caring and oblivious boyfriend, didn't get the clue yet and – while you were distracted by jay's story – took the bowl without thinking twice about it. he just started munching on it, his face showing satisfaction from the savoury flavor of the food.

when you turned back, and saw him eating the last bowl of bibimbap, your smile instantly turned into a pout. you couldn't help but feel betrayed, even though you knew he didn't do it on purpose to upset you. what made you even more sad, was that what was left on the bowl, was just a small amount of what had in it before he started eating. resuming, it was almost finished and you didn't even get a bite of it.

so, the instant jake turned his attention to sunoo when he started speaking, you took the bowl as sneaky as you could and ate the last bits of what was left of the dish. you couldn't help it, the taste was just too good to refrain yourself from eating it.

when jake turned back it was obvious what had happened, specifically because of your puffy cheeks and guilty - not really - smile. he just laughed it out, the others soon following along after seeing the state you were in.

SUNGHOON!

your boyfriend had came to your house early at noon for the date you both had planned. he would take you for a walk and after you would go eat something at a bakery near your house, it was simple yet a perfect way to spend the day. sunghoon arrived around 1pm, taking your hand in his and taking you out of the door. he was really excited for your planned day, just like you were.

at the park, you both walked for hours, laughing and playing with random dogs that were running around. you even went to the playground, asking your boyfriend to push you on one of the swings. in which sunghoon agreed and spent almost twenty minutes making you laugh. soon enough, you both were on the bakery, your orders already on the table while you talked.

"do you want a bite of this, baby?", he held up his fork, with a piece of the pie he was eating. you just nodded and opened your mouth, humming happily while munching on the delicious pie he had given you. "do you like it?", he asked with a happy glint on his eyes, watching your expressions carefully.

you nodded and thanked him, exchanging little kisses here and there throughout your date. though, you couldn't help but think about the pie and how much you wanted another bite of it. so, while sunghoon was busy on the phone with his mom, you quickly took another bite and then another one and, soon enough, you had finished it all by yourself. when sunghoon hang up the phone, he saw your guilty eyes and the pout on your face, though, what you really wanted to do was laugh. and so, your boyfriend did just that, started laughing and you were following behind. your laughs being heard through the whole bakery, but you couldn't care less, your only thought being your boyfriend.

SUNOO!

when you arrived at the dorms, you were hit with the delicious smell of food as soon as your boyfriend opened the door. sunoo immediately hugged you, bringing you inside while telling you something about how niki kept on messing up the whole living room while he was trying to organize it for you. you just laughed, used to their bickering all the time.

"are you hungry? i prepared something for us!", he exclaimed, making you laugh. he took your hand, leading you into the kitchen while adorably talking about his day and how much he missed you. " i felt like i was gonna day if i didn't see you soon.", he pouted.

you smiled and leaned up, giving his nose a quick peck and sitting in the chair sunoo motioned you to. he brought plates with your favorite meal on them, making your mouth salivate and your heart melt from his thoughtfulness.

"this is so cute, sun.", you smiled, taking your chopsticks to feed him a bite of the food from your plate. you guys kept eating while making small talk, taking advantage of the date to make up for the days you haven't seen each other. after a while, the food from your plate had ended — from feeding both you and sunoo — so you just watched him eat, occasionally laughing whenever he would say or do something funny.

when you saw that he had put his chopsticks down, you took your own and got a bit of the food from his plate, seeing as he still meat and that made sunoo gasp and giggle to himself, covering his mouth. he's so happy that you are comfortable enough to eat his food without asking, for him it's a new achievement in your relationship.

JUNGWON!

wonie had prepared a cute picnic date at hybe's rooftop for you both. he had been busy with promotions and had missed you, so he did that so you could spend time together. he had baked cookies, made sandwiches, cut fruit in different shapes and bought a small cake as well. the only thing you had to bring was the orange juice.

you were seated on the checkered blanket placed on the rooftop's floor, happily munching on a heart-shaped sandwich jungwon had made especially for you. your boyfriend had the biggest smile on his face, taking pictures of your so effortlessly beautiful figure in the sunlight. for sure, at the end of the day, one of those pictures will end up being his new lockscreen.

as you finished you sandwich, jungwon put his phone down and started to feed you some of the fruits he had brought, making small talk and asking some things about your day. after a while, you said he could eat you, giggling a bit at the fake hurt expression on his face, with jungwon claiming in a pout 'you don't love me anymore!'

after you were done eating the fruits, you decided on having one more cookie — since you had been stealing a few ones just after the date had started — to finally claim that your belly was full. just when you opened the container, a big pout appeared on your face when you saw it empty. as you were going to alert your boyfriend, you saw in his hand the last cookie, looking as delicious as ever! without much thinking, just as jungwon had taken a bite, you also bit it — immediately giggling at the face he made. wonie is so whipped for you that he just gave you the cookie without complains and a peck on the cheek right after, claiming that you could steal his food anytime you want.

NI-KI!

you and ni-ki were sitting on the couch of enha's living room, mario kart on the tv while you both competed in the video game. he was whining because you were winning, making you simply giggle at the look on the face of your giant baby of a boyfriend. he was so annoyed that he even attempted to throw the controller out of your hand — which almost ended with the two of you playfully wrestling on the carpet. when you finally won again, he put his controller down and got up, claiming that he was going to get a snack for you both.

when he came back you were just using your phone, a little smile on your face as you were looking at the pictures you both took early in the day. your boyfriend sat down next to you, throwing an arm around your shoulder and laughing quietly whenever you would show a funny picture to him. he motioned towards the chips bowl placed on the table, in front of you both and you just hummed. as ni-ki got a handful of it from the bowl and sat down again, you took the perfect opportunity to bite it out of your hands, barely managing to fit the handful of chips in your mouth and ended up laughing. some of it fell on you lap, making ni-ki make a disgusted face, which made you laugh even more.

"besides being a stealer you are also disgusting!", he exclaimed, getting up with a pointed finger to your face. you swallowed the remains of the chips from your mouth and just showed him your tongue, simply getting back the controller and looking at him. "oh no, if you think i want to play again with you, be prepared to know that you're wrong!", he arched an brow, looking at you. you just shrugged and pressed the 'new game' button on the screen, making riki screech and throw himself in the couch, his hand reaching for his controller to try — and fail — winning this time.

first things first, your half vampire tag. what exactly does that entail? it could mean anything. are there going to be other character's who are a vampire?

secondly, what are the other ships mentioned in the tags? are they going to be important enough to mention any time soon? or can we know them now.

thirdly, is this going to be based off of stakes? with its recent departure from the fandom, a lot of people are missing it. is there a reason you posted this when you did, so close to its deletion?

fifthly, what does the soulmate tag mean? i've never seen it used in that way before.

woaaah this is like .. one of the longest asks ive ever seen. sorry it took me so long to reply, i really had to think on how i would respond to this..!

well, lets start in order.. lets seeee..

mm i dont know if i can answer this in a way that isnt spoilery or holds plot relevance. sorry if that doesnt help ur curiosity, but rest assured it will be addressed in the fic itself so .. just stay tuned!

i dont see how it would be any spoilers to say this, so ill just come out and do so already! one of the main background ships is geoff/gwen/bridgette. they are just so cute to me, and id like to make it clear the three of them are all dating each other. there is also going to be eva/izzy, of course; and owen/izzy (izzy has two hands). another ship im entertaining the idea of is possibly duncan/dj? but neither of those two are going to have much relevance to the story. actually, funny story, this was supposed to be an alejandro/noah/heather fic, but i totally forgot to tag it as such. im debating on if i want to keep it that way afterall, or have it stay just alenoah.. i guess we'll see the further i write. there is some others but those are a bit spoilery so, stay tuned..!

uhh.. i feel like thats a very weird thing to ask? but, i guess you could say i was inspired after reading stakes? i began writing this last month (pictured below) so i wouldnt say i wrote and posted this just because stakes got deleted. actually, i wasnt going to post this fic at all until i had at least 5 chapters written for it, or all of it written, but i got too excited after finishing writing chapter 2 so.. teehee...

teehee i cant saaay.. much. what i can say is it being 'non-typical' is important. its nothing like soul bounds themselves. how youd think of a soulmate 'au' is not what this is, nobody are soulmates. but .. well.. sooomething may happen. i will just say, it has something to do with vampire culture.

fun facts, huh..? mmm i really dont know.. tbh not even i think too deeply on this sort of thing.. i guess id say that noah has a lot of moles / freckles everywhere? so him having a bite mark wouldnt really raise suspicion, given that its just two puncture wounds. i dont know, im sorry! i guess ill have to think on this some more.. im sort of entertaining the idea that theres more to the universe than just vampires, if this helps. buut,.. i havent decided yet, teehee.

hmm, aside from me thinking itd be funny for him to have a mark on his leg? well... who knows!

Previous anon here again, I just wanted to clarify in response to your answer: I totally agree with the over exaggerated edits of supposedly Jungkook being jealous of the members, most of them are bs (maybe except for a very few instances with Namjoon?). I was thinking of a few moments that do seem legit to me and as you said especially the ones with people outside of the band. I was also thinking of the moments with Taemin, though I still wonder if Jungkook was jealous of him or if he just didn’t like him for whatever reason (which is a shame cause I love Taemin!!) I think in the past Jungkook had a tendency of being a bit possessive, which seems quite normal to me, he was really young and probably insecure, it happens. Ha anyway, he has grown a lot though.

Oh for sure JK had a huge issue with Taemin. Huge. Don't people believe the manilla fight may have had something to do with Taemin? My friends i think that Jimin may have had to practise on JK's birthday and the latter wasn't having it. Like its the only thing we can think of because, Jikook were fine during the day celebrating. So what happened overnight so that the next morning at the airport they couldn't even look at or be next to eo?? How can things go wrong in such a short amount of time? Jimin has been there for all of JK's birthdays. But this one night he couldn't so maybe JK felt some type of way?? Who knows. But it make sense. Either way you've seen the way Taemin looks at Jimin. He's definitely been hit by that Jimin effect and JK ain't blind 😂😂

So outside of BTS we have seen Sean Mendez, Taemin, and something was happening with Bogum during this.

My friends and I believe JK watched Jikook compilations and saw himself doing the tongue in cheek thing and decided to rectify 😂😂 but as u can see he did that for the entire Jimin and Bogum interaction and stopped as soon as Jimin was next to him.

Then we also have JB and this has to be my favourite 🤣🤣🤣🤣 JB and Jimin kept looking at eo. Well, tbf, JB was blatantly staring at Jimin and so Jimin kept looking back at him.

But this happened for too long and JK was like

I swear to God this entertains me so much!!! And it happened for quite a while!! Jikookers Classroom always shows the whole picture and doesn't manipulate so check out the whole Kdrama here. And its the way Jimin smirks like....bro what are u doing??? This whole thing is fucking gold!!

Then of course we have Wonho. This one is quite popular but my favourite part has to be when after Jimin admiring Wonho's muscles for most of the night, when they were leaving, JK started to work out his arm with the trophy

He was like "babe see? I'm strong too." 🤭🤭

Last but definitely not least we have this TXT moment.

Its so subtle. A blink and u will miss it type of thing. The guy shakes Jimin's hand once. Okay, thats fine. But when he does it a second time JK taps him like "that's enough son." 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just to name some few none bts moments. But back to RM and Suga. While I understand why JK would be anti Yoonmin, I dont get the Minimoni anti thing. 🤭 A friend told me it could be because JK admires RM so much. He's so smart and bla bla bla. And JK looks up to him. And maybe JK knows he is not like RM so it could stem from that? Idk why the issue because JK is super smart and has a million things going for him. But after being around for a while I found out something interesting about the Korean culture. About how men claim their women and let everyone know that, that woman is his. Apparently when JK got into that nasty scandal with the tattoo artist c*nt, Karmy were telling the boyfriend to claim her?? Or some shit like that? But the guy refused to because they were broken up or something. Apparently it was messed up that JK would hold another man's woman like that. Idk man. I'm not Korean and I don't fully understand it but I know it's a thing. Which explains why JK behaves the way he does. You said, he was possessive coz he was young and insecure. And maybe thats true. But I think there is also the issue of no one knowing they're together. JK would love for the world to know Jimin is "his" but he can't. And so people going around touching and feeling on his man well... I can see why he would have an issue with that. Especially since Jimin gets shipped with pretty much everyone.

Genshin Impact Characters taking care of you when you're sick- pt. 1/?

a/n: i missed doing stuff like this!! it's usually really fun to write but i stopped doing them bc i felt like they were getting repetitive, but im gonna try to not make them repetitive. Includes the ladies of Mondstat(like 4 bc i dont feel like writing for too many at once)

Jean 6/10 but only bc she's cute or whatever 🙄🙄

Jean doesn't even take time for 5 min break from work, so...

She does have people come check in on you and report back to you. In fact, she has the traveler get medicine for you and to make sure you're okay.

Also has the traveler deliver letters to you with sweet messages on them

Might even see if Lisa can help you get well sooner

If Jean does finish her work for the day, she speeds to your shared room. Immediately, kneeling and grabbing on to your hand. Apologizing that she couldn't stay with you to help you, but that she's here now and will get you whatever you need.

"Apologies, love. I know I should've stayed here with you, but I had to finish those papers. On the bright side, I completed tomorrow's work. I'll be able to stay with you and help however i can."

Lisa 8/10, she may have some medical background right?

Lisa is a alumna from Sumeru's Akademiya and her studies weren't primarily Arcane Arts so it's possible she studied some medical stuff.

Plus she's a librarian, she's mostly read or come across books on medicine or herbs that will help with whatever is wrong

takes double the time off to help you recover even if it's a small cold

Will pamper you, like paint your toenails or brush your hair for you to try to distract from the headache or aches you might have

Also puts the medicine in teas because she doesn't like how bitter medicine tastes and knows it'll help it go down easier, plus warm tea helps soothe your throat!

Tries her best not to get sick, but she might end up getting a small cold or small cough after you get well

Overall, does a really good job at helping you get well

" This tea will help the medicine go down better, plus it'll help clear up your breathing. And you'll be better in no time, but try not to swallow it to quickly. It's still pretty hot cutie."

Amber 4/10 i mean she kinda knows what to do?

Amber wants to help you but doesn't quite know how except to get medicine.

Spends like 20 minutes deciding which Medicine she should get and still doesn't get the right one. Does go back and gets the right one

She pops in on all her breaks to see how you're doing and if you need anything.

Will run and get you whatever you need, no matter how far away it is.

Makes the best soup because she had read somewhere that soup helps when someone is sick.

Also gets sick because she would constantly cuddle up to you because ahe wasn't sure what else to do to help.

"I present Amber's super special soup! I made it with all your favorite veggies! I also picked up some medicine that you can take after you eat. It should help a ton!"

Sucrose ????/10

Sucrose is an alchemist and as such she could be technically labeled as a doctor or sorts. Is she an ethical doctor? Considering what her specialty dish looks like i would say no, but to each their own.

Sucrose would probably use you being sick as amply opportunity to test out some medicine that she had made but never got the chance to test until now. No you may not question why it's an oozy looking purple still not a solid, but also not a liquid texture

However she won't make you her test subject for the medicine if you don't want to Sucrose is totally fine with getting you medicine from Albedo or a local doctor if you would prefer.

Sucrose does try her best to keep you entertained to the best of her ability. She also really tries to get you to sleep as often as you can, it should help speed up your healing process

DONT LET HER COOK FOR YOU

Ask Sucrose for something made by Lisa or Amber, and use that they have a secret ingredient that helps you feel better. Sucrose cooking is a bit of a disaster

Sucrose does try her best for literally everything else and manages to not get sick after taking care of you

"This is a seru- medicine that i made a while ago... I..I didn't get the chance to study what all it does so i was hoping... Oh, yeah.. I suppose regular medicine would be the best route. Wouldn't want you to get worse."

yknow the whole hetch (really weird name honestly) betraying ranboo. like. originally i assumed the person sending out "rogue frequencies" and the bypass of their system was done by hetch and that the person in the keynote vidoe (not the showfall media, the other one) was hetch. and like. it still could be but. why would they go to all that trouble? and according to the second special announcement they quite literally had to modify the interactive elements.

so. what was the point? it certainly wasnt meant to make hetch more convincing to ranboo as he saw NONE of it. was it meant to make hetch more convincing to the audience? but why would they need to do that? the audience cannot interfere with the social experiments as long as showfall doesnt let them do so. was it to put on a better show? and let me remind you, hetch almost INSTANTLY got the audience suspicious as soon as he needed to make up an excuse as to why ranboo couldnt leave.

and those notes under the posters. hetch didnt mention them. hetch doesnt claim responsibility for any of that stuff so im like.

actually, lets review the info we've seen about these mysterious person trying to interfere with showfalls plans and if anything seems to contradict them being hetch, or implies it.

specifically, let's go over the special keynote first

so, this person, they, as implied, are either 1. sending out a signal, or following one ("Where is this signal going?") but by their later line, when they finally like. actually connect instead of just glitching the screen and words they say ("Is this working?") seems to imply number 1 is whats happening.

afterwards they state that they dont have much time, and dont know what's going on, which feels like a contrast to hetch pretending to know a lot about whats going on, and the inner workings of showfall (he does acttually know i know im just saying with how he acts with ranboo) . and the next thing..

"I don't know what you are"

which feels.. hetch acts familiar with the audience. he knows about them and presumably knows what we are. its also quite literally on the on the site, that while showfall is adjusting to this new domain, they do seemingly know what they're doing here. and let me specifically highlight the specific phrasing. they say they dont know what we are. not who we are. what. which is like. a whole different level of unfamiliarity.

they then go on to say that it already found him (over ranboo's missing posters.) and says it got everyone but them. now this has several lore implications if you think this person is being honest but we're going to focus on how this seems to imply they're a part of the group , unlike hetch who refers to sneeg as "your friend" not our. which since sneeg is quite literally called the taken and is probably one of the people in the "everyone", so thereotically. sneeg shouldnt just be ranboos friend in that case.

they then declare that they have to save them and stop this.

so tldr of that whole reviewing the special keynote, several things that this person says, are discrepancies when compared with how hetch acts which could imply there is actually someone working against showfall entertainment.

another note, when that person connects with us, instead of it just glitching and such, it just. pauses the video until theyre done.

ANYWAYS

this makes the whole hetch plot thing feel like. theres an actual motivation for doing so. which it could just be entertainment yes but . there are now the possibilities its also to: conceal this persons activities. if its just another part of the show it makes showfall seem more unchallengable. and two. if ranboo manages to remember what happened LAST time, he will be far more inclined to not trust this person if they ever try and contact him.

so. that was my rant hope you liked it.

currently watching red white and royal blue despite the fact that i was initially very put off by the 30y/o cast, anyways, i think the casting works for the most part since their age isnt specified so i'm just kind of pretending they're 30 and it works out, but i think for some scenes it just literally doesnt work AT ALL.

anyways here's a list of scenes that (dont) work when pretending the characters are thirty instead of twenty (sorry i might have gotten less and less constructive the further i got)

the wedding: absolutely, the fact that their frontal lobes are supposed to befully developed makes this ten times funnier

staging photos and interview: absolutely, they arent sassy bc they are young and dont know any better, they are fully aware of what they are doing

broom closted of children's hospital: ehhhh, hard no, why are you awkwardky scrambling around on the floor??? you are not hormonal teens, get yourself together. also Alex being upset about sth so small is kind of giving frontal lobe not developed & insecure

new years party: neutral territory, dont have too many feeling about that

kiss at new years, specifically their facial expressions and body language: what inspired this list. frankly, horrible. they kiss with henry scrunching up his shoulders like he's trying to hide the fact he has a neck and alex not even touching him???? it looks like a bad kiss, and tbh at 30 i'd hope to kiss better than that ngl. replaying the scene and omg it's horrible. would make significantly more sense with younger actors bc what is this

Alex talking to Nora after the kiss: again, i think this isnt too bad, his outfit is truly horrendous, the concept of data analyst and dating henry's friend makes more sense when they are older anyway bc otherwise there'd be an age gap somewhere. dialogue wonky, bc her monologue about the signs he missed about himself, ooof. or maybe i'm just overestimating how self aware 30 year olds are

meeting prime minister and such: perfectly valid. hilarious.

(why are they suddenly making out, i'm ace, be considerate and fucking stop, jesus christ always with these horny people)

(post) make out (talk): fine ig

dinner in paris: yuppppp, works amazingly.

crowds forming: plot fots better for a coming of age movie, not one about thirty year old dudes

also the election is soo not that plot relevant, what's the point showing the result? what a whack ass plot point just to then have them go to alex' childhood home? what the hell

in conclusion: very cute movie, horrible writing kind of, but definitely some good moments in there. choice of actors definitely odd, bad in a lot of expected ways, but also not that bad ig. wouldn't rewatch, but would definitely watch compilations of it on youtube bc comedy (it's why i watched it in the first place!)
