#i even had a pt at one time for a bit but she made me do mostly cardio so i don't know how tf to use any machines đ
would you like a new home? (pt. 3.2)
forethoughts: i maxxed out arlecchino to lvl 90 đ¤Š. rip all my fragile resins.
notes: gn!child!reader, NOT AN X READER READER IS A CHILD IN THIS!!!
Arlecchino was working when the caretaker had entered her office. She suppressed her disdain and annoyance as she asked the caretaker what was so important her work time had to be disrupted.
Arlecchino immediately stood up and stormed towards the caretaker when she heard your name.
âY/N had gotten in a fight with another child? Two children?â Arlecchino pursed her lips, eyebrows furrowed. The caretaker elaborated more, handing her two distinct blades, one stained with blood.
âWe have them in their room right now. The other two is in the infirmary. How would a child get their hands on such dangerous objects?â The caretaker commented, as Arlecchino took both blades, clutching both helms with one hand.
âI will deal with this.â Arlecchino walked out of her office, marching towards the infirmary. After all, you could use some more time to reflect before you would meet her.
You sat on your bed, knees to your chest and head on your knees as you stared at the wall. Fatherâs broken compass was next to you, the needle finally taking a rest. You could imagine the children outside gossiping and decreasing your odds of ever making friends in this hellhole of an orphanage. How you had injured the most popular kid.Â
Father made sure you knew not to care about what the others said about you. And you didnât at all.
Father.
How was Father taking in the information?
Surely Father was already informed about the fight.Â
Your heart sank a little when you tried to imagine how Father was feeling. The betrayal. The hurt. The shock that you had used your new toys Father had only taught you on one of your âkinâ. Perhaps the boy was right. In the end of the day Father might as well revoke everything she had given you. Including this room.
The sound of the doorknob twisting open shattered your confidence and determination you had about the fight, the sounds of Fatherâs heel clicking against the marble ground sending spiders down your spine. You felt a dip in the mattress being created, as Father sat down next to you, mere inches away. Father sat there, observing your hunched figure with a stoic expression in the deafening silence. You heard her pick up her broken compass-the gift she had given you to take care of. And it was completely shattered.
â...Iâm sorry.â You murmured, breaking the silent barrier. âI tried to stop them from breaking it.â
Father let out a chuckle. âAnything that can break will break. Some can be fixed, some cannot.âÂ
You felt Fatherâs eyes pierce your skull, causing your gaze to fall even lower. To your surprise, a hand was placed on your head, combing through your hair. You were shuffled closer to Fatherâs body, until your shoulder touched hers. âHow are you feeling, dear? Are you alright?â
Father was⌠comforting you?Â
Your shoulders relaxed a little, but they were still stiff.
âI-Iâm⌠okay.â
âDid they hurt you in any way?â
You bit your lips, the conversation one of the orphans had with you while their foot was on your head was still fresh in your mind.
âYesâŚâ You mumbled, fiddling with the hem of your sleeve.
Father noticed-of course she did-, and placed her hand in yours, rubbing small circles on your palm.
âHow so?â
You looked down. â...They started it.â
âOkay.â Father said calmly. âHow so? And do look at me when you do.â
You reluctantly lifted your head, meeting Fatherâ surprisingly warm and calm gaze. âI was admiring the compass you had given me. And then one of them tripped me and took the compass and started playing with it. The other one shoved me and placed his feet on my head and pressed it down.â
You swore you saw Fatherâs eye twitch at your last sentence.Â
âThe one pressing my head against the ground told me I had to ask you to have a smaller room, no dessert, last in line and an earlier curfew than the other orphans.â You spat each word out with poison. âThey threatened to break Fatherâs compass if I did not do what they said. He shoved me first and attacked me. Father said if I was attacked first I could use my toys. So I did. I tried talking to them first but they wouldnât listen. I did what Father said to do before I used my toys.â
Father remained silent, as her hand brushed over the area the boy had stepped on your head. âDoes your head hurt now?â
âA-A little⌠b-but it's nothingâŚâÂ
Father ignored your comment, as she lifted your body so you were on her lap. She examined the area the boy stepped on. Placing a single finger on the area was enough to make you shiver, the corners of your eyes burn and tears threatening to fall.
âMy poor childâŚâ Father sighed, wrapping her arms around your frail body.
Now your tears were really threatening to fall. âI-Iâm sorry for using my new toys on the other orphans⌠Iâm sorry for disobeying Fatherâs rule⌠I promise it wonât happen again. F-Father can take away my room a-and move me back to that room w-with the other orphans, put me last in line for food and give me an earlier curfew. Iâll take it without complaint. I d-deserve it for disappointing Father.â
âNonsense, my child.â Father placed her fingers on your chin, forcing you to look her in the eyes. She moved her hand to your cheek, wiping your tears away with a gentle wipe of her thumb. âNone of those things will happen. I will not punish you for acting in self defense. I am not disappointed in you for trying to defend yourself.â
âB-But-â
âNo buts. What happened has happened. You are hurt; they are hurt. Adding more pain and suffering to one side of the scale will not make it balanced nor just.â Fatherâs lips turned into a thin smile, as she let out a sigh. âCome. Letâs get you cleaned up and ready for bed, okay? It has been a long day for you.â
Father lifted you up in her arms, cradling you as she carried you to what you could only assume to be her private bathroom, seeing she had walked past the showering hall.Â
âFatherâŚ?â You hesitantly asked.
âYes, my dear?â
â...Why did you give me all those perks? A new room, first in line, no curfew?â
Father let out a sigh. âEven looking back I do not understand why I had the urge to do all those for you. I suppose it was because I was concerned and worried about you, my child. I could not bear to watch you sit alone and always get the last pick for everything. I could not bear to sit in the sidelines and watch you try and hold your tears back as you watched dust move across the ground. I could not bear to watch the other children treat you like filth when you were the kindness out of all. I believed that giving you some perks would help make your stay more⌠comfortable.â
Father paused. âHas it⌠made your stay more comfortable?â
You looked at the ground, your head resting on Fatherâs shoulder. âA littleâŚâ
Father let out a chuckle. âBetter than none.â
Father carried you to her private bathroom, setting you down in the tub as she lathered soap across your back and body, washing your hair. Her touch was delicate and gentle, never lingering in one spot for too long or applying a large amount of pressure. Father dried you with one of her towels, dressing you in silk pajamas before carrying you back to your room. You found it hard to believe. You had injured two of Fatherâs children, and yet while they were in the infirmary, legs immobilized, you were wearing silk pajamas, being washed by Father, and coddled all along the way.
As Father laid you down in bed, brushing your hair one last time and planting a kiss on your forehead, you couldnât help but ask.
âWhy does Father treat me so well? Father w-wouldnât do any of this for the others, would she?â You blurted out.
Father chuckled at your question, the corners of her mouth tugging upwards. âPerhaps it is true I treat you much differently and better than the rest. Perhaps I do have a sense of favoritism towards you. Perhaps it is because I see a part of me in you. No matter. Soon, my dear child, all of this will be over. I will deal with this. Do not worry about the other two children. Get some rest, my child, and all will be well. I will be coming back shortly to deliver you dinner.â
Father walked away, turning off the lights in your room as she shut the door. You laid there on your bed, her words echoing in your head. Father saw herself in you? Your little mind didnât know how to think about that.
But all you knew was that Father cared for you.
Father loved you.Â
Father was not mad.Â
Father said everything will be better.
So everything will be better.

Okay the time has gone and im here to share some new hcs with you!!
I will probably write a lot, so there will be several parts.
Pt. 1
1. No matter child!Reader or teen!Reader, she remained very clingy. Her love language is touching and she couldn't help herself but touch Alastor every time her emotions are really strong. Like when she's laughing she can squeeze his hand, or when she's crying she need a hug from him.
I'm thinking about the moment when she was crying really hard about something (ig smth serious) and just throw herself into Alastor's arms, while he was too shocked to even do smth. He froze, unsure what to do while she sobbed into his shoulder/chest.
2. Sometimes, when they grew up a bit older (13-14 yo) they could have sleepovers just because Reader fell asleep on Alastor's bed. His mom already knew that she is Alastor's the one and only best friend, and Alastor was looking at his mom with his big eyes, silently asking her to let Reader stay here with him. Mom just couldn't resist him, because she loves the way he was with Reader.
3. Alastor knows a lot of smart and long words so he always teases Reader with them. He never called her stupid but still.
4. About calling her names. He would naver use those disgusting words which his father likes. He hate to call Reader that or even let anyone else call her that. No. Just never.
I JUST CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THEM. THEY'RE BESTIES AND CUTIES !!!!
Welcome back!
Let's check out the new headcanons, shall we?
Reader is indeed very touchy. She is loved by her parents and they never harmed her. So for her, touching means loving. Even though she isn't as observant as Alastor, she can feel a lot which means she knows when Alastor needs a big warm hug. Alastor is touch-starved, the only touches he knows are his mother's kisses and his father's fist. When you came from nowhere with a gentle touch, he was confused, scared but couldn't help but crave more. So he was very confused when one day she came crying in his arms, needing comfort from him. He didn't know what to do, his hands were used to pull a trigger and kill prey. His arms were used to carry the dead animal at home so his Mother could cook it. But he couldn't let her cry so he hugged you clumsily, trying to copy how her hugs made him feel better.
Alastor, even as a child, was manipulative. So when the reader fell asleep one day for the first time and his Mother decided that she could stay, he smiled with glee. Each time he wanted you to stay, he would make you fall asleep on the bed, sharing stories, humming soft lullabies, anything to put you to sleep. Then he'll ask his Mother if you could stay, the times she said yes he would run back to you and poked you until you wake up. Come on now, he made it so you could stay with him, you needed to wake up.
Alastor does know a lot of words. He would tease you with it but he would never make you feel stupid. Nu-uh. On the contrary, he would make you learn new words so you could use them against other, so they could see how cool you were. And if he happened to be there when you used the words he had taught you? Oh dear, you would be seeing beaming with pride ! Go Best Friend !
No, he would never call you names. He knows how painful it can be. He would call you " cutely annoying", " beautifully naive" , " endearingly stupid" but never words that would hurt you like it has for him.
Well, would you look at that ! They are the cutest, aren't they? :) Thank for sharing your idead dear, come visit me again soon !

Alley Drunk! Danny AU- Part 1
[Pt.2] [Pt.3] [Pt.4]
To not turn into a giant raging asshole hell bent on murdering people and destroying the world after everyone he loved died, Danny had ran from Amity with his chosen vice.
A bottle. Thatâs right. Even after Jazzâs talks about alcoholism as a poor coping mechanism as a form of self harm, he still chose alcohol. Or maybe thatâs why he picked it, because it reminded him of her, right before the booze took the sting of grief off of her memory. He was never really all that good at listening to Jazz.
And now sheâs gone, so itâs moot point. Danny really hated Nasty Burger.
Danny made it all the way to Gotham, bottle constantly glued to his hand. Itâs better than Vladâs creep-o-self looming over him all of the time. He bummed out on the streets, fitting into crime alley like a native. Danny learned to pickpocket. Not much, just enough for a bottle when his ran out. He stayed human. At first he tried to convince himself that it was because he didnât want to be perceived as a meta in a city where Batman notoriously disliked metas. Then, as he sunk deeper, he admitted to himself in a shameful curl of a whisper that it was really because alcohol affected his human side much easier.
Ghosts need an ungodly amount of alcohol to even get slightly buzzed. Dannyâs human side? Only one full bottle the shittiest tequila he could find could even hope to be more than buzzed. It sucked.
Heâs spent two years being an alcoholic that didnât actually get that drunk. Technically, underage drinking was a crime. But then again, so was being a vigilante ghost. So, whatever. He does what he can to dull the grief. Mostly, he slept on covered and hidden nooks on top of Crime Alleyâs roofs. Gotham city had taken pity on him and cleared her smog clouds when he was awake at night. Stargazing helped, at least. It gave him a little hope. It gave him a little wish to change and better and live like he wants. But then the night ends and when the day comes, Jazz isnât there. Sam isnât there. Tucker isnât there. His mom and dad are not there.
Danny always went back to the bottle, in the end. Not that it did much.
Which was why, when he saw three looming figures over a tiny child, Dannyâs saving people thing flared with a vengeance and his surprised ectoplasm burned what little buzz he had achieved by downing most of the bottle away, leaving him stone cold sober and pissed.
Danny sighed, dumping the rest of the nasty tasting liquid out. Thereâs no point drinking that little.
He approached the trio, who were beating up an actual child. Ancients, he hated Crime Alley sometimes.
âGive me your shit, you little punk!â Asshole 1 decided to say like a typical mugger, raising his leg to kick the curled up kid below. Danny doesnât let him land the kick, smashing the bottle on the assholeâs head before any of them clocked his presence. He pivots, pushing a bit of that extra strength he normally keeps on a tight leash into his hands, and punched the other two in a quick fashion, knocking them out.
With that taken care of, Danny turned back to the kid who was still curled up. Danny sighed again, the trembles in small shoulders plucking on his heartstrings.
âYou okay, kid?â
The kid uncurls, and Danny stared. Holy shit, is he looking into a mirror? Blue eyes, black hair, and tanned skin. Holy shit, heâs even got similar jaws to Danny.
âHuh.â
The kid flinched.
âY-yâer the drunk,â the kid flinched again, eyes darting to the broken bottle still clenched in Dannyâs hand. âI- I ainât got money, honest. Please-â
Danny blinked down at the kid, brain connecting the dots after so long without actual interaction. Heâs panicking and staring at the bottle in Dannyâs hand like itâll kill him. Danny raised the bottle and the kid closed his mouth with a click, terror worming its way into the kidâs eyes.
âI wasnât going to mug you myself, kid.â
âBut- yâer the- the Alley drunk.â
Danny blinked. Did he get a reputation without knowing again? Goddammit.
âI guess. Am I famous or somethinâ?â
âNobody- nobody fucks witâ ya.â
âI also donât hurt kids.â
ââŚâ
The kid stared at him dubiously and with a sinking feeling, Danny realized that maybe the kid already had some terrible experiences with a heavy drunken hand. He promptly chucks the bottle further into the alley.
âI drink, yes. But Iâm also not the kind of scum that would lay hands on a kid, let alone anyone that didnât provoke it first.â
âOh.â The kid uncurled more, looking at Danny warily, more at ease now that the bottle has left the chat.
âYeah. Iâm Danny. Stone cold sober, right now.â
ââŚâ
Danny waited.
âPeters.â
âOkay. Peters, do you wanna take their shit?â Danny pointed a thumb at the knocked out would-be-muggers behind him.
âY⌠yeah, sure. Whatâs my cut?â
âAll of it.â
Peters stared.
Danny shrugged and started looting.
"Y'er so fuckin' weird."
----
See, the thing is, Danny hadn't anticipated saving Peters- "'s actually Jason"- would result in having a duckling following him around. The kid, Jason, glared at everyone who even looked at them wrong. But that's not the problem, because Danny could take anyone who took issue with Jason's looks, it's more like there's a child following him around now and Danny doesn't want to be the reason Jason turns into an alcoholic. It's- well, it made him cut down on the drinking. He even got jobs- legitimate jobs that sucks out his his poor ectoplasmic soul.
Why? Because Jason's apparently homeless. While that's something Danny's okay with for himself, he can't ever condone that for an actual child. Jason's walking around in threadbare clothes and thin soled shoes in the middle of Fall, for Ancient's sake.
Danny grumbles as he piled a bunch of clothes into the shopping bag as he checked out. Gotham's Walmart is a different kind of hell, but Danny feels right at home.
Sure, the work might suck out his soul and he might hate being sober, but Jason's face every time he comes home to an actual place to live, warm clothes, and food was worth everything.

Touch Pt 2
Alastor x GN!Reader
Part One
Plot: Alastor talks to Charlie about his problem, sort of. Then he settles the situation with Reader.
Tags: GN! Reader, fluff, angst, minor pining, short fic.

Touch Pt. 2
It was Charlie that came to get him. He had neglected to make dinner or even tell the others that he wasnât going to make it that night. Charlie had knocked on his door, her rhythmic knock ever-so recognizable, and leaned her head just inside.Â
âHey, Al? You alright, in there?â He could see her eyes flit about, before landing on him. âWe were worried about you.â
Alastor just hummed, disinterest coloring his face. He was sitting at a small table just across the border of the original room and his swamp, sipping a cup of coffee, and reading.Â
Charlie, seemingly ignoring his clear show of indifference, stepped further into his room, shutting the door behind her.Â
âDonât worry about dinner. Angel begged for us to just order pizza instead. Something about âjunk food healing the soulâ, or whatever,â Charlie continued, making her way towards Alastor. Although her hands fiddled with each other, she kept her voice steady. Charlie was getting better at hiding her nerves around Alastor. (He could almost say he was proud, but that would be inane!) âJust wanted to make sure you were okay.â Charlie said your name, and Alastorâs ear perked, on their own accord. âThey mentioned you seeming off earlier, but didnât want to bother you.â
âI can assure you that I am fine, dear. I donât know what silly thoughts theyâve put in your head, but everything is fine,â Alastor said, trying to keep his smile wide. When he finally looked at Charlie, he realized she hadnât believed a word heâd said. How ridiculous! There was nothing wrong! She should just take his word for it, and leave.Â
âI donât know. You do seem bothered by something.â Charlie made her, ridiculous, thinking face, before nodding to herself. She promptly sat herself in the seat opposite Alastor, and folded her hands on the table. âYou should talk about it. Itâs not good to let these things bottle up.â
Alastor nearly dropped his smile so he could glare at her. How absolutely ludicrous! He had nothing to talk about! And even if he did, he had nothing he would willingly tell Charlie. âThere is nothing to talk about. Please leave.â
Charlie cocked her head, and narrowed her eyes. She said your name, again, watching his ears twitch. âThis is about them, isnât it! Youâve been acting weird around them recently. Always staring at them.â
Alastor gritted his teeth, trying to hold his composure. âI have no idea what youâre talking about.â
âHA! It is! You would never respond like that if it wasnât.â Charlie smiled smugly, and Alastor wanted to claw her face off. He couldnât, but it was an entertaining thought. He could turn her skin into ribbons, and use them to gift-wrap things for Rosie. âCome on, whatâs going on? You didnât have a problem with them before.â
Alastor hesitated. He could try and pry information out of Charlie, if he let himself be a tiny bit honest. He sighed, and set down his book and mug. âAlright, Iâll tell you a little, but! I have a question first.â
Charlie gave him a suspicious look, but she acquiesced with a nod.Â
âWhy are they suddenly all⌠touchy with everyone? You mentioned some time ago that they donât like being touched, but that seems to have changed, rather out of nowhere,â Alastor said, trying to keep his motivation for the answer hidden. He watched as Charlieâs face flooded with multiple emotions, before settling on something soft. He couldnât tell what it was, but it made his skin crawl. The deer-demon hoped that expression had nothing to do with him.Â
âAh. Yeah. I meant to explain that when they talked to me about it recently, but I completely forgot,â Charlie sighed, brushing a hand through her hair. âTheyâre touch averse, but when they get comfortable with people, especially good friends, itâs something they start to⌠hmm what is the word I want to use⌠They kind of start to crave it. Touch is something they donât get a lot of, so when they are comfortable with someone, theyâll initiate a lot of it. So now that theyâre settled into the hotel, and know all of us well enough, theyâre more comfortable.â
He had never considered something like that before. You would get lonely, wouldnât you? You were a very outgoing soul, but sequestering yourself from others would get hard after a time, wouldnât it? The more Alastor thought about it, the more it made sense. You had been there quite a while once you started to get tactile with the others. But still, it didnât make sense that he would be excluded! You were always so nice to him! You sometimes sought him out for conversation. Was he too overbearing sometimes? Alastorâs mind slightly spiraled, the longer he thought about it.Â
âYou alright there, Al?â Charlieâs voice interrupted his mental descent with a rough jerk. âDoes your problem have something to do with that?â
Alastor looked away from the princess, trying to contain his thoughts down enough so he could tell her without giving it all away. But the idea of you fearing him or something of that nature made his stomach churn. He couldnât think straight.
âThen why not me?â
Alastor didnât realize he had spoken until Charlieâs eyebrows popped up. âOh. Oh geez.â Her face scrunched in guilt. âThat might be my fault.â
A screech interrupted the soft static that played around Alastor. âWhat?â
Charlieâs eyes flitted about, uncomfortable with the weight of Alastorâs glare. âYeah. I mentioned, pretty early on to them, that you also donât like being touched. That sometimes you might touch others, but you didnât like it.â
Alastor cupped his forehead in one hand, and glared down at the table. âAre you kidding me?â
âAh, no. Iâm pretty sure thatâs it. Theyâre pretty good about keeping boundaries, so they might have been trying to make sure you were comfortable,â Charlie muttered. She cupped her face in her hands, melting into them with guilt. âIâm so sorry, Al. I can totally go talk to them for you. If I had known this was a problem, I would neverâŚâ
Alastor tuned out Charlieâs ramblings. This whole thing had been a misunderstanding. Somewhat. It was true, he didnât like being touched, most of the time. However, he did not like being left out of things without being consulted! It should have been up to him to draw that line. Alastor huffs to himself, and decides he will simply talk to you, himself.
He abruptly stands from his chair. âAlright then! Iâm off to go talk to the little darling! I will straighten this out myself, Charlie.â Without another word, or even bothering to make sure she left his room, he took off towards your room.
He knocks twice, and waits patiently. Alastor hears a few thumps, and is glad that youâre inside. Much better to have this conversation in a private place, rather than out in the open!
The door creaks open, and there you are! You smile up at him. âHi, Alastor. What can I do for you,â you ask.Â
Ha! What could you do for him? (What couldnât you do? No. He wasnât going to continue thinking.)
âHello, my dear! I was hoping you had a moment, so we could talk! Hopefully, inside?â He gestures towards the inside of your room, and, although you hesitate, you nod. You open the door wider, and let him in.
âWhatâs up?â You ask. (He would never get over how strange slang and expressions got in recent years. At least he could understand most of them now. It used to be hard to understand younger souls).
âAh. I was hoping to clear up a misconception that you might have.â Alastor leans down, leaving a few inches of space between your faces. Your eyes widen, just slightly, in surprise, but he is pleased to see you hold your ground. âI do not always mind being touched. I have, in fact, noticed you actively avoiding touching me.â Alastor leans back, suddenly, placing a hand over his heart. âAnd oh, does it hurt, dearest!â
He says it as if itâs a joke, (it isnât), and it is, but he dislikes being singled out in matters as trivial as these! Your brows furrow, but you still give him a smile.
âAh, dang, Al. Iâm sorry. I didnât mean to exclude you. I just thought you didnât like that kind of stuff.â You smile wider, your tone turning silly. âIâll make sure to include you in all our group hugs now!â
Alastorâs brows flatten, and his ears pin back, just slightly. âPlease donât.â
Your eyes close as you smile and laugh. You take a hand and cover it up. (Alastor wants to pull it down. One should never hide their smile. He doesnât, though). He feels a weight, that he hadnât noticed, lift from him at the sight.Â
When you put a hand on his arm and squeeze, softly, it feels right. He says little more, just a âgood nightâ. When he finally deigns to make himself dinner, he lets the joy finally saturate his body. What a delightful feeling!
He enjoys the next several days, where he realizes how many little touches you give him. If he preens beneath them, or his smile grows wider, or his tail wags, no one notices. Much better that way. No one needed to know.Â
Much less you, with your soft smiles, and happy laughter.Â
Not knowing would always be the better option.

Simon Riley x Dog Sitter! Reader pt. 2
<- Previous - Next ->
Warnings: light cursing, light nsfw, Simon being the tiniest bit of a creep
A/N: so originally this was just a fluffy thought I had a few weeks ago... it's slowly turning into a longer, multi-chapter series, and Simon is a bit darker than I had intended him to be... but the story is still going to stay relatively normal (there will be full NSFW further down the line, lol)!
Sure enough, Simon had emailed you by Tuesday afternoon. You noticed how... unprofessional it was. Not that he had been rude or obscene, but it was obviously written by someone who never had to write many emails for his career.
here is riley's routine. she likes walks, usually 3 or 4 a day. she eats one scoop in the morning and one at night. she doesn't finish her food all at once, but she'll come back to it. if you're gonna give her more cookies, just two per day. fill water every morning. around the house, if you could just dust and clean up any dog hair, that would be great. let me know if meeting me tomorrow at 0900 for the key works. I ship out thursday. thanks.
Simon.
You chewed your thumb nail, reclining on your couch with a confused expression. Was he irritated with you for some reason? He didn't show it at the interview if he did have any hostile feelings... you reminded yourself that he was a rather gruff man, and maybe that just bled into his written words, too. You rolled your shoulders and started working out your reply.
Hello Simon! Tomorrow works perfect for me, I'll be there by 9 am!
Does Riley have any favorite places she likes to go? Any particular spots or trails she enjoys? Also, are there any rules you have for her, like being on the couch? Is she ok going to the dog park? Lastly, does she take any medications I should be aware of?
See you soon!
You sent the message, sighing and dropping your head back against the arm of the sofa. You were honestly thankful that you'd gotten the job, even if Simon was a rather stiff client. You finally quit your shitty job, and while you did still have babysitting your niece and nephew, you never charged for that - the only time you were "paid" for it was when you took them out somewhere fun, and your sister forced you to accept money for the admission fee.
So this gig fell into your lap at the perfect time. And the fact that you had beat every other person Simon had interviewed made your ego soar. It wouldn't be a bad idea to make a career out of this, you thought.
Your phone dinged - you held it above your face, and saw that Simon had already responded. You sat upright and opened the email.
she only takes aspirin when her leg flares up. no more than twice a day. no favorite trails, we just go around the block a few times. she can sit on the couch, my bed too, but she'll need help getting up. no human food is the only other rule. never took her to a dog park, but if you really want to, that's fine. she's good with other dogs.
Simon.
You frowned. Walking the same block every day, multiple times each day, sounded awful. It wasn't even close to animal neglect, but you couldn't imagine walking the same route every single time. If it didn't drive Riley insane, it certainly would for you.
You read back over the email, your eyes lingering on "if her legs flare up." Simon had never discussed Riley having arthritis with you - and you sincerely hoped that was the reason she had leg pain, and nothing else. You made a mental note to ask him about it tomorrow as you began to write your reply.
Understood. Thanks again!
--------------
"Here's the basement." Simon said, leading you down the stairs and into a dullish room. It had a cheaply-manufactured desk, what appeared to be a dining chair (not matching the dining set upstairs), a stuffed bookshelf, and some cardboard boxes filled with paper. A fan stood in the far corner, and next to it was the washing room. Much like what he had shown you of the rest of the house, it was bland and drab.
You looked around, letting out a polite noise of approval. Truth be told, Simon's life seemed awfully boring to you. Your mother had always told you that military men were always overly practical, in more than just home decor. They never cared much for the environment around them, as long as there was no mold, or anything similar. But you had never expected it to be so brutally true.
You knew he had a life outside of his home - from the way he described it, he was usually deployed more often than he was in his own home country. But you wondered - what did he do for fun, besides watch the telly? Did he have friends, and were they all like him? Any hobbies?
"If for whatever reason y' need to clean up a stain, you can find solution in there." He said, pointing to the washer room. "Other than that, nothin' much to see down 'ere."
You followed him as he trudged back up the stairs. Riley was sat upright on the floor, watching you and Simon move about the house with an observant expression.
"The only other things I'll ask you to do is hoover n' dust when it looks like it needs it." He said, leaning against the kitchen counter. "There really isn't much else t' do; of course, if you do see anything that needs fixin' you can always text me." He rolled his head from side to side, wincing as he worked out a crick in his neck. "Might not answer immediately, but I'll see it."
You nodded, standing in the walkway of the kitchen. Even with him leaning against the counter, muscles hidden under his sweatshirt, he was huge. For a brief moment, you imagined what he looked like on the field, dressed in his uniform and holding a gun - but you quickly shooed the thought from your mind before it had the chance to latch on and fester. "Gotcha. And just so I know, do you let Riley sleep with you?"
Simon paused in confusion before he responded. "Come again?"
"Like- you know, if I crash on the couch, is she allowed up with me?" You said, shifting your weight. You couldn't quite tell if Simon was irked by your question, or if he was genuinely confused.
He paused again. "Uh, yea, that's fine. If y' don't mind waking up covered in 'er slobber."
You laughed. "Nah, I'm used to it. A little drool never bothered me. Although, if I do need to wash up, am I alright to use the shower? Or would you rather I use my own back at my flat?"
Suddenly, it clicked in Simon's head. You were planning on sleeping at his house.
He had assumed you would just stop by for walks and meals - he didn't expect you to actually live here while he was gone, and he wasn't sure how it made him feel. He'd never had anyone else spend the night. Hell, no one ever visited, besides the rare occasions of the rest of the 141 stopping by. Even then, they never stayed for longer than a conversation or two.
But, once he took a second to think about it, he realized it might be better if you did stay - at least, while he was on missions. Riley would be bored out of her mind if she was alone that long, especially after spending the past several weeks with Simon constantly there. It would be good for someone to be there when he wasn't, and you seemed like you would be the best person for that, of course.
"Sure, 's fine." He said, rubbing the back of his head. "Just don't touch my shit in there."
"Don't worry about that..." You said quietly, "catch me dead and cold before I touch a 3-in-1 anything."
He chuckled and rolled his eyes. It was refreshing that you could handle his gruffness - most people treated him like a landmine, never wanting to say the wrong thing and set him off. You seemed to have taken life by the horns, like you weren't afraid to bite back at someone. He wondered if that was all for show, or if you really would snap back if he was to test you...
He pushed himself off the counter and reached into the drawer behind him, pulling out a spare key. He walked over to you and held it out. You were just about to take it, when he suddenly yanked it back.
You faltered. "Sorry...?"
"You lose this key..." Simon began lowly, "n' I'll frame you for murder. Understood?"
You gaped, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. He didn't really mean that... did he? You waited for him to laugh and say he was just joking... but he never did. His eyes bored into yours so intensely, making you shiver, as he waited for you to answer.
"Y-yes, sir. Understood." You said, voice wavering a bit.
He grunted in satisfaction, then handed you the key. You let out the breath you had been holding, then cautiously took the key, before immediately attaching it to your lanyard. You didn't want to take any chances at losing it - not after Simon's threat. You took a deep breath and smiled at him, trying to dust the exchange off of your shoulders.
"You can come 'round tomorrow after o' nine hundred, I'll be out by then." He said, turning sideways to moce past you and heading towards the door. You followed behind and rubbed Riley's head when you passed her; she let out a contented sound.
"Feel free t' use the kitchen if you'll be stayin' overnight." He opened the door for you and leaned against it.
"Will do, thank you!" You chirped, hovering on the landing outside of his house, right were you were two days ago. "Thank you for showing me around - good luck on your- mission- deployment, thingamajig!"
He huffed. "Promise I will, luv."
Your spine tingled in response to his comment. Get it together, don't get your knickers in a twist over a client. You thought. You straightened your posture and cleared your throat.
"Well, see you around!" You said with a smile, then hopped down the steps to your car.
Simon waved, taking a moment to watch you pull out of his driveway. He shut the door and leaned back against it, exhaling slowly through his nostrils.
He was an observant man - he had to be, with his occupation. Your reaction to being called "luv" didn't fly over his head. And it's not like Simon didn't know the effect he had on women... he knew how he looked, how he presented himself, and he saw the reactions it got him.
But with you, something felt different. He saw your reaction, and a part of him wanted to chase after it. To see what you would do if he continued to apply pressure to your weak spots. Would you blush? Would you call him out? Would you drop the gig altogether?
He thought about how easily the word "sir" had rolled off of your tongue. He thought about how you would look, all tuckered out on his couch, donned in whatever pajamas you decided to wear, your face peaceful and expression soft as you slept - he imagined you in his shower, the room filled with warm steam and the scent of your shampoo, water hitting your skin as you-
Riley barked, making Simon jolt where he stood. She stared at him, ears turned to the side as she whined. She could always tell when he began to dissociate, and knew just as much as he did that it wasn't a good sign.
Simon sighed, running a hand down his face. "Get it together, fuckin' creep." He muttered to himself. "I need a bloody hobby, f' Christ's sake..."
He blamed it on the upcoming mission. He would typically stress about it beforehand, and if there was anything else that could occupy his mind, he would fixate on it. Right now, unfortunately, you were the victim. But he buried it deep down into his subconscious - it wasn't fair to you.
He pushed himself off of the door and headed towards the washroom, adjusting his crotch as he went. He figured he should at least tidy it up a bit, since you would be using it. The only other people who had been in there were Johnny and Captain Price, and of course, they never cared if there were trimmers on the counter, or if the mirror had splotches from toothpaste residue.
Hopefully, he'd forget all about you - at least, while he was on the mission.

best papa #1. jing yuan (DILF DILF DILF!)
- JING YUAN would be such an amazing father, itâs like itâs natural to him, heâs one of the sweetest n most supportive ones !! when he found out about your pregnancy he would spin you around in his arms, kissing the temple of your forehead whispering âi love youâs under his breath. hes such a dilf too jesus fuck
- JING YUAN would have three kids (jesus christ) two girls n one boy, HE WOULD BE SUCH A GOOD DAD N I KNOW IT! heâs so patient and gentle with you during your pregnancy, and he was even more patient n gentle w his own kids, he loves them very much. he would be willing to teach his children everything, he would help them with their swordsmanship skills and even help out with other things, heâs such a good papa it hurts, heâs so gentle with your children, heâs an absolute natural! itâs like he was meant to be a dad almost
- JING YUAN who would be protective over his kids but not too protective, he loves seeing them all free, especially when they were just little cute babies. his eldest daughter loved running around his office, tugging at his clothes and asking him to play with her.
âdadddd! play with me noww! brother and sister wants to play too, weâve been waiting for ten minutes like you said, but it already passed!â
ânot now, princess.â his lips melted into a soft grin, giving his daughter a small pat on the head. âhow about this, how about you and your siblings accompany daddy while he works, âthat sound good?â
- JING YUAN who tries his best to make his children happy, i bet heâs the type to sing small little lullabies for them to help them sleep, rocking his little son in his arms as he has his small little fingers around his. heâs great with animals as well, he would take his children to a little adventure one day and have them hold and feed the birds that are always around him, nibbling on their tiny hands as he guides them, helping them try and feed it.
âgo on, try and feed him. he doesnât bite, heâs not scary either right? dadâs here to protect you, remember?
- JING YUAN who would talk to his children when they were still in your womb, telling them stories about his life, his adventures and telling them how beautiful their mommy was. jing yuan would consider this as his daily routine, he loved talking to his little ones even before they were born!
âhey princess. daddy loves you so much, yâknow that?â
âdaddy is excited to meet you too sweetheart, yes he is. but try not to give your mother a hard time, okay?â
best papa #2. blade
- BLADE who never thought heâd ever become a dad because of the life he lives, so much regret and grief in his heart so therefore he would start off a bit rocky, he was a bit unsure and didnât quite understand the aspects of being a father and that worried him so much. he was terrified of not fulfilling his duties and responsibilities as a father but you always reassured him that heâs doing the best he can and thatâs what truly matters.
âren honey, she canât support the weight of her own head, you know?â
â.. she canât?â
oh boy.. he had a lot to learn.
- BLADE would probably have one kid! HE WOULD HAVE A DAUGHTER IM CONFIRMING THAT RN. your little princess is almost bound to look like him! sheâs like a mini version of blade as she has the same hair, same eyes, etc! aaa itâs so cute! he thinks so too, he just doesnât have the balls to actually admit it. his little princess would think of her papa as the strongest person in the world! itâs adorable honestly, she wants to be just like him, big and strong!
- BLADE who would be extremely overprotective over his daughter, he would have a very soft spot for her too. he would give everything his all to secure her knowledge about the current life he was living right now as a stellaron hunter, he knew he wasnât the best, but he was willing to change for you and his child. yet, it still worried him. it still worried him that maybe one day his daughter will eventually find out about his past and follow his exact footsteps, everyday he prays nothing like that happens, he wants her to do good, not bad. he doesnât want her to fall in the same path he went before.
- BLADE who honestly didnât expect to have a child himself, so when he was caught right handed carrying a small little child in his arms, kafka and silver wolf would doubt him at first, asking him if this was just another child he found in the middle of the streets, shocked to find out he was acc a father n he wasnât messing w their heads again skull emoji
âthatâs.. thatâs your kid?!â
âyeah.â
âshe looks just like you..â
âare you sure you arenât messing with us? you actually had sex?!â
â.. could you have worded that a better way?â
- BLADE who would find comfort in his own family, making a promise to himself that he would absolutely devote his love to you and his little princess, he would do everything to protect you and her, even if it means risking his everything for the both of you. but yet.. he still thinks about how heâll eventually watch you and his little princess die while he lives on, for eternity. he wants to bask in the presence of his beloveds for as long as he could, he would break the curse of his immortality if he could, just so he see his loved ones die, no.. not again. he canât afford to see the two most important people of his life die, once again. but he knew, his fear would come true eventually.
best papa #3. dan heng
- DAN HENG is a SWEETHEART. tbh hes a a lil confused but heâs trying + heâs learning! he also never expected he would ever have a child of his own, he doubted his own abilities at first but he got the hang of it as it flows through, heâs an outstanding father too! heâs just a lil confused but heâs got the spirit
- DAN HENG would probably have multiple kids, about two! one girl and one boy. when his first child was born, he felt a wave of happiness and relief wash through his body as he was finally taking in one of the biggest responsibilities there is, he promised himself he would do his best for you and his kids, and he really kept his promise! he does try his best and tries his hardest to give them the utmost care and support, he loves his pretty wife and his kids sm and it shows
- DAN HENG would have good hearing! when his young ones were still little babies, he would usually be the first one to aid them whenever they wake up in the middle of the night crying, gently rocking them in his arms until they fall asleep in his arms, their small hands on his shirt. so cute <3
- DAN HENG who would help his kids fall asleep by sitting or laying by their side and watch them sleep, maybe he would hum a tone or two.. he just canât comprehend the fact that he was the father of these kids, he treasures them sm and you notice it, heâs just so so sweet to you and your kids
âdan heng?â you would call, entering the room of your kids before seeing your husband laying on the edge of the bed, arm over the two young ones as a gentle grin forms on your face as you shut the door, god. you married the right man.
- DAN HENG who just wants the best for his kids, he would come off as too overprotective sometimes and it might look like he was angry but in reality he just wants the best for them and wants to keep them safe.
âi thought i told the both of you not to go there.â
â.. but daddy you didnât say that! thatâs no fair!â
dan heng crouched down to his daughterâs level, eyeing her and his son down. âdaddy doesnât want you both to get into trouble. plus, you could easily get hurt or stepped on from some big monster.â
âdan heng, stop scaring the kids.â you crossed your arms, before a tug on your shirt was made,
âno no mommy, itâs not scary! because we know that daddy is always gonna be there to save us!â dan heng grinned, pulling his two younglings in a tight hug. he really does hope he can fulfill that, he wants to be there for them after all.
best papa #4. gepard landau
- GEPARD is such a girl dad, he would have three little princesses! gepard is surprisingly a good dad, like i said heâs a such a girl dad he would cherish and love his princesses (including you <3) until the end of time, heâs such a good dad it makes my heart melt, he would probably ramble about the fact he has three daughters to serval, HES SOOO SWEET ABT IT TOO. âmhm mhm. i have three princesses in my household!â is what he would say, he loves his daughters smmm HES A GIRL DAD U CANNOT TRLL ME OTHERWISE. speaking of serval, she would be an amazing aunt i know it!
- GEPARD is such a loving and doting father! when his first daughter was born he probably thanked every star in the whole universe for this amazing gift that was brought upon him and you, HE LOVES YOU AND HIS DAUGHTERS SM BRO. he can be a bit overprotective and it might lead him to seem a bit controlling but he doesnât mean to be or sound controlling in the first place, itâs only because he wants his daughters to be safe, he knows how bad the world can be and he doesnât want anything to happen to them.
- GEPARD who is willing to style his daughtersâ hair, honestly you wondered where he inherited his skills from since heâs such a natural at it! (he got it from serval) sometimes youâll even see one of your daughters in cute little pigtails held up in cute little pink bows, itâs so adorable to you!
âwho did your hair baby? it looks great today.â
âdaddy did!â when she said that, gepard would probably be eavesdropping from the kitchen, a huge stupid smile on his face <3
- GEPARD who does his best to protect his wife and his children, sometimes you would tell stories to your kids about how amazing gepard really is, and how heâs the captain of the silvermane guards! i bet if they still had fears over little things like monsters under their beds etc your daughters would always go to gepard so he can âfightâ the monsters off, gepard finds it so adorable how go to him whenever theyâre scared, because he knows he can protect them from anything <3
- GEPARD probably has a daughter that looks up to him a lot, trying to follow in his footsteps. when his little daughter was little, she would sometimes sneak out from her room and sometimes catch him training, doing weird motions with his hands she didnât quite get and copy him! she views gepard as âthe strongest hero in the whole universeâ
âdaddy daddy! look look, itâs a drawing of me in your armour! one day iâll be just like you, brave and strong!â
the blondeâs gaze softened, a low chuckle leaving his chest as he picked her up from the ground planting a quick kiss on her nose. âyouâre already brave and strong, princess. youâre just as brave and strong as daddy isâ
heâs such a girl dad ugh i love those men

ellie was so in love with you. she is so in love with you.
you are her light. your smile, your laugh, your everything. she just couldnât get enough of you. being friends with you was probably the best blessing god could ever gift her, yet also the worst punishment.
she knew she could never have you.
not in the way she wanted, anyway.
you talk ellieâs ear off almost everyday, and ellie never gets tired of it. your sweet voice that felt like pure honey and warmth being poured into her ears. so sickly sweet. she swore you were a siren of some sort.
you were so perfect and you didnât even know it. you would tell ellie about your escapades and little âsituationshipsâ as youâd like to call it, and it made her sick. every last person you talked about seemed like shit. she couldnât believe that you thought thatâs all you were worthy of.
she would worship you if you gave her the chance.
she told you the same thing each time: âfuck them. you know youâre too pretty for them anyway.â
and you were always grateful for her. who else would remind you of your worth? you needed her, she was your rock. your fidgety, awkwardly nerdy rock.
she was always the shy type. or she was around you, at least. she was never too bashful, but sometimes sheâd slip and show you just how nervous you make her. her freckled skin would turn all pink, her eyes avoiding your gaze. sheâd have an awkward, thin-lipped smile, and you could feel the clamminess of her hands if she was touching you. youâd find it cute, how sheâd just melt if you two were touching or youâd give her a compliment on literally anything.
but what you didnât know, is how she hated herself for it.
after anytime you two hung out, sheâd go home, stomping to her room and looking down at her feet. âso fucking stupid.â sheâd mutter to herself, thinking of all the times she stuttered around you or got all warm in the face. but without fail, each little mishap would lead to her in her bed, a string of curses leaving her mouth while pathetically fingering herself to the thought of you.
one particular night, she had shown up to your house unannounced. knocking at your door, leaning back on her heels as she waited for you to open up.
she doesnât normally do this. she never does this. but she thought maybe you two had gotten close enough. just enough for her to show up at your home anytime she felt like seeing you.
so when you opened the door, and she saw your hair a bit disheveled, your cheeks flushed and what appeared to be a hickey below your jaw, that thought quickly went away.
âfuck, els. iâm sorry but⌠really bad timing.â
you said with a light chuckle, giving her an apologetic smile. she just stared at you, eyes wide and her cheeks red.
âfuck. iâm sorry, shit. i donât know why i showed up hereâ i wasnât thinking. sorry.â
she mutters, stuttering over her words. she hated how her tummy got all fuzzy and how her boxers suddenly felt all warm and soaked. all while having the biggest lump in her throat.
before you could say anything back, she was already speed walking away from your front door, down to her car. she got in and drove away, not even bothering to see if you were still there, watching her.
she felt so fucking stupid. her vision was blurry as she drove home, speeding until she finally parked in her driveway. who the fuck was in your house? which one was it fucking you? did they even love you like she did? she wanted to crawl into a hole and die.
she swung the door open, then slammed it behind her as she ran to her room. she closed the door and locked in, and let the tears flow. she kicked her beat up converse off, and aggressively rubbed her cheeks to get rid of the wet tears that rolled down them.
âfucking idiot.â
âwhy the fuck would i?â god.â
âwhat did i think? she doesnât love me.â
she mumbles to herself, all through hiccups and stuttered breaths. her pretty cheeks are wet with hot tears, her eyes red and watery. even her poor nose is all stuffed up, making her sound nasally as she dumbly insults herself.
one by one, she removes her clothes. she fiddles with the button of her jeans and undoes it, hooking her thumbs under the band of her boxers at the same time, and kicks it all off. she then moves to her hoodie, messily taking it off and cursing when it gets stuck on her little bun. she even takes her sports bra off, which she never does.
fully naked and vulnerable, she turns all the lights off and crawls into bed.
she sobs into her pillow, feeling like some pathetic idiot. she doesnât know why she ever thought youâd feel for her the way she feels for you. she felt so fucking perverted tooâ getting wet over the idea of you getting fucked. getting wet over your smile, your touch.
she sniffles, her slender hand slithering down to her pussy. she sighs as her middle finger lightly swipes by her clit, feeling just how wet she is. she brings her ring finger into the mix and circles her clit, gathering all the wetness from her clenching hole.
she moans, quietly. ellie isnât typically a moaner, but she is right now. she is for you. she rubs her clit rapidly, the sounds of her squelching pussy filling her dark room. she closes her eyes, not wanting to cum too quick. she stars to think about you, and her fingers go to plug her hole.
she imagines you below her, giving her that sweet smile as she made love to you. she wanted to love you so bad, it hurt.
âoh godâ shit,â she whined to herself, legs spread and feet planted on her bed, knees bent as she mercilessly fucked herself to the thought of you. she wanted to make you cum by her fingers, mouth, cuntâ whatever the fuck you wanted.
her imagination switched to your mouth on her pussy, lapping at her clit and eating her out like youâd die if you didnât. she let out a shaky whine, imagining that her fingers were your tongue, moving in and out of her as your nose nudged her clit.
ellieâs breath sped up, her eyebrows knitted upwards as she felt that hot, sticky feeling in her belly just come flooding out. her cunt pushed out and clenched around her fingers, as she cums with a strangled cry. her body covered in a thin layer of sweat, and her thighs trembling as her slick came gushing out of her, staining her sheets below her.
she slowly pulled her fingers out, catching her breath. she could feel her heart in her ears. but the ache never left. sheâs still crying, just not as theatrically. she doesnât even bother cleaning herself up or her bed, just turning to the side and hugging her pillow. she shoves her face into the plush pillow, her wet face dampening the fabric. and there, cum sticking her thighs and pussy together, naked, she fell asleep.
and sheâll never move on, either. you haunt her, even in her dreams. doomed to love you in every reality.
aaakkk i dunno how to end these đ this is my first fic(?) drabble thingy ever so pls be gentle haha lol âşď¸âşď¸âşď¸đ
this is so rushed bai đ

iâm right over here why canât you see me?
// your best friend ellie has always known sheâs liked girls. youâve always stood by and watched her chase after girls who donât really care about her. what ellie doesnât realize is youâve been completely and utterly in love with her this entire time. what happens when abby anderson, the captain of the soccer team, proposes you two fake âhookupâ in order to get under ellieâs skin? is ellie finally going to see whatâs been in front of her this entire time, before the tall charming jock can steal your heart? //
[warnings: angst, pining, jealousy, fuck!girl ellie.]
xxxxx
pt.1
ellie has always been clueless. from the day you met her during your first week of freshman year, she hadnât realized you were flirting with her. at first it stung; you and ellie had been getting close for two weeks during your first month at university, and she had seen you as nothing more than a really cool friend. you knew you liked ellie as soon as you talked to her. you complimented her iron maiden tee shirt, and you quickly realized you two had more than three classes together. ellie was staying all the way at the end of the girls dormitory, and you were staying in the middle; sharing a room with your roommate dina.
dina and you clicked right away, and it wasnât long before the three of you were having girls nights together and hanging out. the only problem was, it was so painfully obvious how much you liked ellie. dina would notice how pink your cheeks would get whenever youâd talk to the brunette; or dina would catch you staring at ellie during movie nights. it wasnât entirely one sided either, whenever dina and ellie would hang out alone, ellie never seemed to shut up about you. sheâd always find an excuse to bring you up, and dina wasnât an idiot. she knew ellie liked you too, the taller girl was just unaware of her own feelings for you.
it wasnât until ellie started âdatingâ kelly, one of the girls on the debate team, that dina realized just how stupid ellie williams is.
it was a normal day for you and dina when you saw ellie and kelly together. the blonde was practically sucking ellieâs lips off, and it made you cringe. but it also caused your heart to crack right in your chest. you hadnât seen ellie with anyone else, and you didnât expect to, regardless of listening to her talk about how hot kelly was. you didnât think sheâd actually pursue kelly. though as you stop in your tracks to pathetically watch ellie kiss the shorter girl back, you know you were wrong.
ây/nâŚâ dina trails off, and you shake your head, trying to play it cool. âitâs fine. sheâs been talking about kelly for months. i saw it coming.â you lie and dina rolls her eyes. âi didnât even know kelly was into girls.â the raven haired girl responds, as you both continue walking to your next shared class. âwell the way she was frenching ellie in the courtyard certainly wasnât straight.â you mutter.
thoughts of ellie and someone else plague your mind throughout the rest of the day. but you love ellie, even as a friend. so you donât make it known that youâre hurting. youâre pretty good at acting as if nothing is going on, so thereâs really no difference in your behavior towards ellie. you do however, distance yourself a bit until you find out that kelly ditched ellie for mark, one of the english majors. things go back to normal after that pretty quickly; ellie goes back to spending every free moment she has with you, and you unfortunately start crushing on her again. maybe you never stopped. itâs the beginning of a cycle you have when it comes to her.
itâs really not a surprise to you when ellie finds another girlfriend during sophomore year. by now youâve both been friends for a whole year, and sheâs actually one of your favorite people on campus. it also wasnât a secret that you and ellie were close; most of the time, wherever you were, ellie was and vice versa. even though a part of you had come to the conclusion that ellie would never see you in that way, there was still always that part of you that held out hope. it didnât help that dina would always tell you how much ellie likes you, how she just doesnât know it yet.
but right now, as you watch ellie at jesseâs frat party hold angela sanders close, youâre starting to realize how stupid youâve been. you sigh softly as you swish your cup around, âyou do realize this is a party, right?â a soft southern voice asks you, causing you to look up and see abby anderson, the captain of the soccer team. you and abby have been friends since sophomore year started. sheâs in your womenâs history class, and her essay on womenâs equality was moving. since then you and abby have had a few conversations, but never anything too serious.
âi hate things like this.â you admit, finally prying your eyes off of ellie and angela in order to look at abby. âyeah, judging by the way youâve been glaring at williams all night, i donât think the parties the reason youâre so down.â abby teases lightly, and you roll your eyes. âiâm not down.â you mutter, and abby raises a brow, clearly not believing you. âand i havenât been glaring at ellie and her girlfriend.â you add before taking a sip of your drink. abby laughs in a way that youâre sure every girl on campus finds attractive. âiâm sure lying to williams is really easy, but iâm a little more perceptive than that.â
you frown, and abbyâs grin deepens. âso you just came over here to tease me about it?â you ask begrudgingly, and abby shakes her head quickly, her eyes widening as she realizes she might be coming off as an asshole right now. âno! i justâ fuck, iâve wanted to say hi to you all night, but iâm clearly blowing it.â abby stumbles over her words, and you feel a small smile tugging at your lips for the first time since you arrived. you roll your eyes playfully, âyou couldâve just started with âhey y/n, nice shirtâ??â you question a bit, but your tone is light now, and it causes abbyâs grin to return as quickly as it disappeared.
âhey y/n, nice shirt.â she greets you in this stupidly cute way that causes your cheeks to flush a bit. âhi abby, thank you, i spent almost an hour picking it out.â you admit and she canât help but laugh. she glances at your cup and notices itâs nearly empty. âhey, wanna get a drink with me and talk outside? i hate loud music.â abby confesses sheepishly, and the offer is tempting. you hate loud music too, and crowded places. but you promised ellie youâd leave with her. though as you take a quick glance at the brunette, you see a large smile on her face as she enthusiastically nods at whatever angela is saying.
âyou know what? that sounds really nice, letâs go.â you admit honestly, and abbyâs smile is bright enough to put the sun to shame. what starts as a desperate attempt at fleeing the scene in front of you, turns into you realizing you and abby actually have quite a bit in common. when you first met abby, you thought she was a huge womanizer like every other girl on the soccer team⌠but the more and more you got to know about her, you realized she was just a polite, awkward woman who was strangely endearing. you find out abby is originally from salt lake city, and has lived a pretty privileged life.
you laugh as abby tells you the name of her horses back home, and she flashes you a charming smile. âiâd love for you to meet them one day. i can definitely show you how to ride!â abby admits, sounding eager. you giggle, feeling slightly buzzed; your cheeks are on fire and you canât help but notice how big her arms are. you hadnât ever noticed that before. for a moment you forget ellie even exists as you think about abby âhunkyâ anderson teaching you how ride. though your mind goes to very sinful places that have nothing to do with a horse. âsalt lake city? iâve never even left my hometown before coming hereâŚâ you trail off, and abby nods in agreement.
âsame here. iâm terrified of planes, so my dad drove 12 hours just to bring me here.â she admits, and you feel a large smile tugging at the ends of your lips as she blushes sheepishly. she rubs the back of her neck in the most adorably awkward way, âi canât believe i just admitted that to you. after half an hour.â she grumbles, and you giggle uncontrollably before your phone buzzes in your back pocket. you reach for it, and as soon as the screen lights up, you see you have a missed call from ellie, along with a string of texts.
ellie (11:13 pm): wya??
ellie (11:20 pm): dina said she saw you leave. did you leave early??
ellie (11:25 pm): turned around and you were gone. you good?
âeverything okay?â abby asks, and you know you should call ellie back, and tell her youâre still here⌠but if she thinks you left, whatâs the harm in staying a little longer to talk to abby? after all, ellie is more than preoccupied with angela, you doubt sheâll notice youâre still here. you look up at abby and offer her a small smile, âeverythingâs fine, my friend was just wondering if i left.â you answer simply, before ignoring ellieâs texts and stuffing your phone back into your pocket. âyour friend as in⌠ellie?â abby questions, her voice lacking any malice, in fact she just sounded curious. you nod, and the dark haired blonde raises a brow in amusement. âwhat has you so hung up on her anyways?â the taller girl asks simply.
you furrow your brows, shrugging. âsheâs my best friend. i donât⌠itâs not that big of a deal. i had a crush on her at the beginning of freshman year, and i guess i realized i wasnât her type.â you explain bluntly, and abby makes a face. ânot her type?â she questions uncertainly, âyou know, popular, pretty, borderline straight.â you mumble and abby throws her head back and laughs. âoh sheâs in that phase of lesbianism.â the jock states in a hinting manner, causing you to flash her a puzzled look, âwhat do you mean?â you sound as confused as you look, and abby thinks you might be the cutest girl sheâs ever met. right now sheâs actually pretty grateful ellie williams is too much of an idiot to see whatâs right in front of her.
because abby saw this as a challenge. a challenge to make you forget all about your little crush on ellie. abby was a very patient person, and she was also committed to something once she wanted it. and if abby anderson wanted something, she stopped at nothing to get it. âevery girl who likes girls goes through that stage. you know, falling for a straight girl. thinking you can âturnâ a girl. sheâs still heavily in that stage of lesbianism.â abby states in a matter of fact manner, making you laugh loudly. âthere are stages of lesbianism now?â you ask in between laughs, and she laughs as well. âyeah there is! i can write a whole thesis statement about it.â abby says cockily, and you let out a small little chuckle. your eyes shine with something, and you canât help but notice how beautiful abby looks under the lit up lamppost.
just as youâre about to respond, ellieâs voice interrupts, causing you to freeze. ây/n! there you are, i thought you left.â the brunette rushes up to you, angela is nowhere in sight but dina is treading a bit behind ellie, obviously trying to keep up with her. âi was just talking to abby.â you say as you gesture over to the taller woman who has a smug look on her face. ellie looks at abby and her face seems to change for a moment, âhey y/n! weâre gonna go get some late night tacos, wanna join?â dina asks, as she approaches you all.
dina is normally a pretty perceptive person, but right now sheâs drunk and is absolutely oblivious to the tension in the air between ellie and abby. âum iââ abby cuts you off before you can even start, âi could always walk you back to your dorm later. if you wanna stay.â she says a bit hopefully, and ellie scoffs. âno way.â the brunette states curtly and you furrow your brows. abby raises a brow a bit challengingly, instead of addressing ellie personally, the honey blonde glances at you, âitâs up to you, y/n.â she says with that charming smile that causes ellieâs jaw to tense. ellieâs eyes flicker to you, and meet yours for a split second before you look back at abby.
âi think iâm gonna stay and hang out with abby. iâm having a nice time.â you say, causing ellieâs heart to sink into her stomach. suddenly the thought of you and abby getting close tonight, and possibly hooking up, causes an uncomfortable sensation in ellieâs gut to build up. âseriously? you think weâre just gonna leave you here with her? alone? no way. what if something happens to you?â ellie asks, raising her voice slightly. you frown, âabby and i have known each other for months now, ells. i appreciate the concern, but iâll be fine.â you really just want ellie to go, you were having a nice night forgetting all about her and angela.
ellie looks like sheâs about to argue, but dina tugs her arm. âcome on, dude. y/n is fine. letâs go.â dina slurs, the thought of tacos making her stomach rumble. the brunette glares at her best friend, but allows dina to drag her away. âcall me as soon as you get back to your dorm!â ellie demands, you hate that your stomach flutters at the thought of ellie being concerned about you. your gaze lands on abby who has this amused look on her face, âwhat?â you ask, blushing slightly.
âsheâs totally in love with you.â she mumbles, and your eyes widen. you let out a breathless laugh, âwhat? ellieâs not in love with me. sheâs so into angela itâs ridiculous.â you respond, and abby scoffs. âhow are you so smart yet so oblivious?â abby inquires, causing you to roll your eyes, swatting her arm. âiâm not oblivious! iâll have you know iâm actually very perceptive.â you defend yourself, and abby doesnât look the slightest bit convinced. âreally? then donât call her tonight.â abby challenges, and your face changes; smile falling at the thought of not calling ellie to let her know you go back to your room safely. sheâs probably going to be waiting for you to call.
âiâ i canât do that. i have to let her know iâm safe. sheâs just worried about me.â you come to your best friends defense, and abby flashes you an expression that says âare you seriousâ. âshe was not concerned about your well-being. she was concerned about us hooking up.â abby clarifies, and your cheeks turn a shade of rosy pink at the thought of ellie being bothered by you hooking up with someone else. of course you didnât plan on hooking up with abby tonight, even if you do think sheâs undeniably sexy, you werenât the type to sleep with somebody to forget about someone else. the thought of using abby didnât sit right with you. sheâs been nothing but nice to you.
âbâbut you and me arenâtâ i mean⌠iââ you begin to stutter in a way that makes a shit-eating grin etch itself onto abbyâs lips. she cuts you off before you can make a embarrass yourself. âdonât worry, y/n, i know weâre not hooking up tonight. but ellie clearly doesnât. you shouldâve seen her face. i know that look.â the taller woman states, and you shake your head, still not fully believing ellie is being anything other than a good friend. âwhat look?â you take the bait, deciding to entertain the idea a little longer. âthe jealous girlfriend look. she was staring at me like she wanted to rip my head off.â abby chuckles, and you shake your head, âellie has a resting bitch face. she always looks like that!â you declare, not sounding as convincing as you wish you did.
âyouâre so naive itâs cute.â the tall woman half jokes, and your face feels as though itâs on fire. âeven if ellie did have a thing for me⌠she clearly is too busy with girls like angela to even realize it.â abby hates how genuinely upset you look, and in a fleeting moment, she pathetically offers something that changes her life.
âi mean, we can always pretend to hookup⌠maybe even more. maybe she just needs to see what sheâs been missing.â abby offers, and amusement flickers in your big, wide eyes. âyou think thatâll get ellie to admit she likes me?â you ask in a tone so hopeful it causes abbyâs heart to lurch. she envies ellie williams in this moment. âjealousy has a way of making people admit things theyâd usually never say.â abby says, and she looks down at you; her eyes flittering across your face as she takes in everything that is you. abby doesnât have many friends here, just manny and nora. sheâs had a few girls try to talk to her, but sheâs never been able to hold a conversation with anyone for long, until now.
of course the first girl iâm actually interested in, is into williams.
âyouâd really help me make ellie jealous?â you ask, a bit uncertainly. abby doesnât know why, but she thinks sheâd do just about anything for you and those big eyes staring up at her. âof course. i mean, how hard could it be?â she asks, and your eyes light up. abby truly didnât realize just how screwed she was until you wrapped your arms around her waist and squeezed her tightly. âthank you! thank you! thank you! i canât believe youâre going to help me!â you squeal, turning into this excited schoolgirl that abby hates is all because of ellie fucking williams. abby hugs you back, but she knows by the way her heartbeat quickens due to the smell of your perfume, yup, sheâs screwed.

you wanna kiss me so bad, it makes you look stupid. pt. 1

part 2
cod masterlist
Everyone shows their love differently, you just so happened to show you cared about someone by relentlessly teasing them. And it was so easy with Soap and Gaz. They would give you shit right back and youâd all burst out laughing. But when it came to Ghostâyour lieutenantâyou couldnât justify throwing jabs at your superior. You imagined yourself making a joke about him being ugly under his mask and you shuddered. Even the thought of poking fun at him made you uncomfortable.
But as Ghost and Soap grew closer, you overheard theirâcrudeâconversations on comms. And often, it was Johnny saying something stupid and Ghostâs monotone voice mocking him.
âIt's dark in here,â Soap had said.Â
âGood observation. Sâwater still wet?â Ghostâs deadpan voice had made you giggle to yourself, careful to make sure you werenât doing it over comms.
It surprised you when someone like Lt.âa stone-cold killerâcould have a sense of humor. And it made you a little more influenced to act snarky, your tongue loosening around him on its own accord.
But for a while, it still managed to make your eyes widen whenever Ghost would say something silly, like when Price was basically on the verge of coming back from the dead, and Soap said, âWas worried your face was gonna melt off like those other poor bastards.âÂ
You could still hear Ghostâs low voice in your ears. âIf you ask me, itâd be an improvement.â
However, after time, you slowly fell into slipping in snides to Ghost alongside Johnny. You hadnât even realized how often you teased himâŚ
When you came back to the safehouse with Ghost during a mission, you were both soaked. Your clothes dripped water all over the floors, leaving a wet trail behind you. Soap and Gaz were on their way, but you and Ghost had beaten them there.Â
You began to shiver, the damp clothing sticking to your skin making it insufferably cold in the room. You dumped your stuff on the half-broken couch, slipping your tactical vest off. You pried your shirt off with several, strained grunts, getting it stuck over your head at one point, and then tossed it to the floor with a plopping sound. You immediately felt warmer having shed the wet material.Â
Your eyes flickered up and spotted Ghost. He, too, had stripped his vest off, holding it in his hand. But his eyes were locked on you, unabashedly watching as you had torn your shirt from your chest. You still had a thin tank top on, but you felt far more exposed with his eyes on you than you expected.Â
You smirked, not really thinking there was any intention behind his gaze. You walked towards him, wanting to go around and search the rooms for dry clothes, his eyes following you. When you brushed past him, you spoke. âYou wanna kiss me so bad, Lt. It makes you look stupid.â You had meant it as a joke. To tease him for watching youâhe was probably just spacing off, deep in thought, his eyes inconveniently resting on you.
His arm stretched out, connecting with the wall, making you halt. Your eyebrows furrowed as you turned to look up at him.Â
âSo, what if I do?â
Your lips parted in a bit of shock and embarrassment. That wasnât the response you had expected. You werenât even sure what you should say to that. You heard Ghost chuckle, watching as your usual cocky attitude faltered.Â
âNot so smart, now, hm?â he teased.Â
You tried to shake it off, but the sticky feeling of his pupil-blown eyes staring down at you after taking your joke and throwing it back in your face shrouded your insouciant demeanor.
Did he mean what he said? Or was he just trying to catch you off guard?
Before you were forced to either acknowledge what he said, assuming his words were honest or teasing, Soap and Gaz burst through the door.
Ghost gave you one last wistful look before dropping his arm and moving into the living room. You were left a little dumbfounded, shocked that you were so overwhelmed by his one, little sentence.Â
When you turned to meet the boys, Ghost was watching you from behind the couch, stripping his clothes off, his eyes unwavering as they suppressed you with their weight. When he finally tore his shirt off, exposing his bare chest, you had to look away. Your cheeks felt hot as you tried to listen to what Soap was saying to you.Â
Soap said your names several times before you blinked and refocused.Â
âSorry, what?â You muttered. Soap raised his brows at you in concern.Â
âSheâs a bit distracted today,â Ghost chimed in from the corner of the room.Â
He had a fresh shirt in hand but had yet to put it to use. You scowled at him.Â
When everyone was getting situated several minutes later, Ghost strolled past you before lowering his head to whisper in your ear. You got goosebumps all down your neck and arms. âNot sâfun beinâ on the receiving end, huh?â
You swallowed. âDidnât know my words bothered you so much, Lt.â
He smirked under his mask, his eyes squinting as he did. âI wouldn't say âbotheredâ. More likeâŚâ he pondered for a brief moment, âaroused.â
You choked on your spit, trying to play it off as a cough, then spun on your heels to face him. But you were left with his back, he was already walking away. You knew this should have discouraged youâthat you needed to just accept defeat from your lieutenant and not mess with him any further. But, unfortunately, this brief fault in your step didnât deter you.Â
If thatâs the game he wanted to play, so be it. And a terrible part of you hoped he wasnât just trying to make you uncomfortable, but was being truthful.

Wolf Bite Pt. 2
Klaus Mikaelson x Reader
Summary: Two weeks have passed since Klaus healed you and the two of you have gotten a lot closer. But when your friends find out about this, they have more than a few choice words for you. Reader uses she/her pronouns.
Warnings: angst followed by comfort
Word Count: 4755
Part 1
A/N: I've been excited to write this one, I love some good angst but with a happy ending. I might have made the gang a little meaner than I think they are but at the same time, I can see them doing this lol.
Also I might want to do another part which shows the more romantic side of their relationship, since this one's kind of lacking, and also where the gang gets what they deserve so let me know if that's something you'd be interested in! I love reading your comments.
Okay enjoy!
Itâs been a few weeks since you got bit by a hybrid. Since big bad Klaus Mikaelson saved you and told you he genuinely liked you. Youâre still reeling from the incident and processing how you feel and what to do next. Your friends have been less than helpful.
That night, when your friends returned to find you no longer on your deathbed, they rejoiced for about 5 seconds. Joy quickly gave way to confusion and suspicion as they wondered how you were suddenly okay. Although a part of you wanted to keep Klausâs visit to yourself, to keep that little moment untouched, you knew you had to tell them. Their reactions were not what you were expecting.
The group immediately scolded you for letting Klaus into your house. They were convinced that it was part of a larger scheme to have access to your home, with only Elena and Bonnie trying to argue that maybe he did it because he liked you. You felt reassured until they were eventually convinced otherwise.Â
Of course, when you tried to explain how you felt and that he wanted nothing in return, no one believed you. That was the first time you felt real anger towards your friends. Not only did they leave you to die without even trying to ask Klaus to save you, but they were blaming you for saving yourself. Your anger was not met with sympathy as the group began to guilt-trip you, reminding you of all the horrible things Klaus has done and shaming you for defending him. After a while, you gave in to their words and let the anger go like you usually do. Well, not all of it.
The only person who truly made you happy these days, was the man in question. The only one who seemed to care if you survived. But more than that, he cared if you lived.
The morning after his visit, you awoke to discover that Klaus had left you his phone number along with a message that read:Â So I can do a better job of reminding you ;). You immediately remembered what he meant and it made you smile.
Since then, you and Klaus had been texting every day. He continued to check up on you and send good morning texts and you began to open up to him, sometimes being the person to text first. You feel like you have nothing to hide with Klaus and that you can be yourself without worry. Youâve learned a lot about the hybrid through the texts. For example, he can be really funny and will make horrible puns to make you laugh. You feel comfortable joking around with him.
Also, as promised, he has continued to shower you with compliments which make your day. You also start to believe his words and gain a little more confidence in yourself.Â
Overall, you feel like you have become a lot happier since texting him, as well as hanging out more with Rebekah. The female original had also taken a liking to you at the start and your friends arenât as opposed to you being friendly with her, although they donât know how often the two of you hang out.
She was absolutely furious to hear about the hybrid bite incident and she blamed your friends more than her brother (although not completely absolving him of blame) for bringing you into their danger. She insisted that the two of you hang out more so she could look out for you which warmed your heart.
With your time being taken up by the Mikaelsonâs, you find yourself drifting away a little from your friends. You donât tell them about your friendships with the Mikaelsonâs for obvious reasons and because you know theyâd never believe you. Theyâre still cautious around you, suspicious that having Klausâs blood in you might have changed your allegiance somehow like his sired hybrids. Personally, you think thatâs ridiculous and doesn't make sense. You barely even talk about them when youâre with Klaus or Rebekah. But you also donât want to add to their superstitions.
Still, you feel a little guilty for not seeing them as often, so when you hear from Bonnie that the group is meeting at Elenaâs house to discuss some new problem, you decide to tag along.
Now you find yourself in the same position as always, standing in a corner listening to the group discuss plans while they ignore your presence. Not that youâd have anything to say. The discussion is over what to do with Alaric and his other half, but frankly you start to tune them out. You just wanted to hang out as normal friends, not as supernatural creatures facing another threat.
Your phone buzzes in your pocket. You pull it out to see a text from Klaus:Â Hello beautiful, want to meet up for a bite to eat?Â
Then he sends another text:Â Of the human variety, of course ;)
You smile and shake your head. You text back: Iâm hanging with my friends, remember? The distraction is welcome as you wonder how long this meeting would take. You wonder if you should ask the girls to hang out after it wraps up. You havenât had a girlâs day in a while. Although the thought of asking makes your palms sweaty and your stomach flip.
He texts: Aw, but wouldnât you rather hang out with me? I promise Iâll be more fun.
You bite your lip to constrain your grin. You text: Thatâs not the point.
He immediately replies:Â Ah, so you donât disagree?
You canât help the small chuckle you let out. Unfortunately, the noise draws the groupâs attention to their neglected member.
âSomething youâd like to share with the class?â you hear Damon say. At first you donât think theyâre talking to you, but when the silence drags on, you lift up your eyes to find them all staring at you. Your cheeks quickly heat up.
âN-no, sorry,â you say, trying to remember what they were talking about to pretend as if you were paying attention.
You catch Caroline narrowing her eyes. âWho were you texting?â she asks and you stare at her shocked. You donât know how she knew, or maybe she guessed, but your panic rises nonetheless.
"No one, nobody, uhâa classmate," you scramble to come up with a lie but youâve been put on the spot.
âI donât buy it,â the blonde says. You become too caught up in trying to figure out a way out of this awkward situation that you donât notice the flurry of movement until itâs too late. Caroline speeds over and swipes your phone from your hand before you can react.
When her eyes meet the screen, they widen and your stomach drops. You speed over to her and grab the phone back before she can read your private messages, but the name of the contact had already been revealed.
âYou were texting Klaus?!â Caroline yells, her confused and angry look quickening your anxiety. Unfortunately, this only causes a chain reaction within the group.
âWhat?â
âWhat the hell Y/N?â
âYouâve gotta be kidding me.â
A bunch of angry voices shoot your way and youâre too overwhelmed to respond properly. Still, you make an effort by saying, âI can explainââ But they just talk over you.
âWhy are you texting him?â Elena asks which quiets the group as they wait for an explanation. Your throat dries up but you try to clear it.
âW-well, he left his phone number the night after he healed meââÂ
âOf course he did!â Damon exclaims, throwing his hands in the air. You begin to feel frustrated that they wonât let you talk.
âHeâs just been checking up on me,â you say. It's not entirely the full truth but youâre trying to diffuse the situation.
âY/N, Klaus is extremely dangerous. You donât know what youâre getting yourself into,â Stefan says in a softer tone that only makes you feel talked down to.
âHe has done nothing but terrorize us since his murderous family moved to town!â Caroline yells, not at all softening her voice.
You clench your fists. âI know heâs done bad things, believe me I do, but heâs started to open up to me. I think heâs more complex than you guys think,â you say, finally speaking your piece. When youâre met with incredulous looks, you try to reason with them. âItâs not like everyone here is perfect or hasnât done evil things.â
âOh my god, you actually believe him,â Damon says, in disbelief and with a condescending smile. âYou actually believe that heâs in love with you.â
Tears prick at your eyes at the implication and you look at the ground. âDamon,â Bonnie hisses. But it does nothing.
âNo, Iâm sorry, but youâre an idiot if you believe that. Klaus doesnât have a heart to give,â he continues. He shakes his head with a laugh. âI mean, I bet heâs just been manipulating you to tell him our secrets.â
Your anger grows but that last sentence seemed to strike a chord in the group and the energy in the room suddenly becomes tense. âWait, Y/N, please donât tell me youâre in love with him,â Elena says in a concerned tone.
âHave you been spying on us for him?â Caroline asks. And just like that, the groupâs paranoia brought on by the wolf bite resurfaces in full force as they all give you suspicious looks. You donât believe this.
âGod, no, you guys arenât listening! We are just friends, and we only text each other,â you say, practically pleading with them to hear you out. But your anger remains boiling below the surface. âAnd we donât even talk about you guys! Do you honestly think I would betray you that quickly?â You try to meet each of your friendâs eyes to get them to see rationally.
âY/N, I think youâre making a huge mistake,â Elena says, completely avoiding what youâve just said. You stare, shocked.
âWeâre just trying to look out for you; heâs only going to hurt you in the end,â Bonnie pipes in.
âYeah, so why donât you go ahead and end this before you do something you regret,â Damon says. All of their words circle around in your head and suddenly you lose control of your fury. You canât help it. You snap.
âOh my god, just shut up!â you yell. âYou guys have no idea what youâre talking about. Do you have any idea how miserable I have been for the last few months? All of you have slowly started to ignore me and cut me out of this group and I felt so alone. Now, Iâve finally found someone who has noticed me and who makes me happy, even if that person is Klaus, and you have the gall to stand there and tell me that heâs the one whoâs going to hurt me? That youâre âlooking out for meâ?â
You breathe heavily, staring at your friends as they digest your words. But of course, Damon is the only one to open his mouth.
âYouâre so naĂŻve,â he scoffs. You glare at him.
âAm I Damon? Tell me, of the two of you, which one saved my life while the other stood back and was willing to let me die.â You look at all of your friends with burning tears in your eyes. âYou were all just going to let me die.â A few of them have the decency to look ashamed. You shake your head and say the thing youâve been holding back for weeks. âThe Mikaelsons have been better friends to me in the past few weeks than you guys have been in years.â
A heavy silence coats the room. You feel a weight lifted off your chest. You had been quietly holding on to that anger, that resentment, for too long now. Maybe thatâs whatâs been keeping you from your friends. Maybe now that the truth has been laid out, you can start to rebuild. Your hope is quickly shot down.
âWell then, why donât you go join their family? Because you are no longer welcome in this group,â Damon says. The sombre words make your anger fizzle out. Your jaw drops in shock and you find yourself struggling to breathe.
âThatâs not trueââ Bonnie says, glaring at the Salvatore.
âNo heâs right,â Elena says. One of your closest and oldest friends, someone youâve known since childhood, now looks at you only with disdain. âItâs them or us. And itâs clear which side youâve chosen.â
You shake your head silently as a tear rolls down your cheek. The reality of the situation is quickly crashing down on you.
âYou should probably go now,â Caroline says. You take that moment to meet each of your âfriendsâ in the face. You silently plead with them to say something, to stand up for you, to fight for you. But itâs clear that thatâs not going to happen. Youâre either met with a glare or they wonât meet your gaze at all. You hold yourself together and, somehow, find the courage to walk away from them.
When your hand reaches for the doorknob, you hear Damon say, âDonât be surprised if they donât want you either.â You freeze. You take a deep breath and leave the house.
No one comes after you.
â â â
Your feet carry you past your house. You donât want to be in an empty home right now. But you also have no idea where to go. A hole is burning its way through your chest as the devastation from your friends wreaks havoc on your mind. The thought occurs that you could go to the Mikaelsons but you immediately shut that down. You hate it, but your friends words continue to hold sway over you. You start to convince yourself that they wouldnât want you either.
You walk until you reach the edge of the woods and keep walking. Tears continue to trickle down your chin but you havenât let your feelings out. Hidden from the town, you spot a fallen log and decide thatâs as good a place as any to cry.
You slump down and take one deep breath before releasing the sobs that have been building in your chest. The world goes dark as you bury your head in your hands. What have you done? You single-handedly isolated yourself from the group. And you now feel utterly lost as you realize how dependent you have become on the group to define who you are. What use do you have now that youâre alone?
Dark thoughts continue to swirl over you as the tears rain from your face. You canât go on like this. Maybe you should just go back and apologize to everyone. Just as you consider that option, your ears perk up at a distant sound. You bite down on your lip to silence your sobs as you listen for what you heard.
A twig snaps near you and your breath catches. You whip your head to the right, preparing yourself for the worst, when your eyes catch those of Klaus Mikaelson. A part of you feels better at the sight. Another part can't get what your friends said out of your head.
âY/N?â he says, his face questioning. You try to quickly wipe away the tear tracks from your face, but itâs no use. When he takes a better look at you, his expression drops and he speeds over to you. âWhat happened?â
Heâs on his knees before you. His eyes roam quickly over you, trying to spot any injury that might be causing you pain. You try your best to avoid the problem. âItâs nothing,â you say quietly, trying to keep the hurt from your voice. His concerned gaze indicates it did not work.
âIt is not nothing,â he says, definitively. He waits for you to tell him, but you can see the wheels turning in his head as he tries to figure it out for himself. When you donât speak, he does. âI donât understand, I thought you were supposed to be with your friââ His eyes widen when you accidentally choke on a sob, filling in the blanks for him. You watch through blurry eyes as a dark cloud descends onto his soft features. When he meets your gaze, his eyes are glowering. He lowers his voice. âDid one of them do something? Tell me who did this to you.â
Even in your broken state, you know his anger isnât directed towards you. You donât fear his reaction and instead try to explain. You shake your head as you say, âI was with them andâŚwe got into a fight.â You bite down on your lip as a sob threatens to take over your speech.
This only further ignites the fire in Klaus. âWhere are they? Iâll tear out their throats,â he growls, looking past you as if trying to look for them from here.Â
You lower your head, avoiding his reaction when you whisper, âIt was my fault.â From the corner of your eye, you watch Klaus focus his attention back onto you. His anger melts into concern.
âWhat?â he asks, his voice returning to a softer tone. You lift your head and meet his worried gaze.
âIt was my fault.â Your voice trembles and a tear rolls down your face. Klausâs face becomes contemplative as he slowly wipes the tear from your cheek. Then he moves to sit beside you on the log.
âTell me what happened, love.â He patiently waits for you to gather your thoughts. You take a few deep breaths to steady yourself and Klaus places a hand on your back in support. You send him a small, grateful smile before it drops.
You shift uncomfortably as you try to think of a way to begin. âWellâŚit kind of started because I was texting you,â you say awkwardly. His eyes widen and you see guilt cloud his features. You reach out and drape your hand over his to silently reassure him that he has nothing to feel guilty about. He brightens and you find the strength to continue.
âUm⌠they found out that Iâd been talking to you andâŚthey got angry with me,â you say slowly dredging up the conversation in your head. Your eyes begin to well with tears again and Klaus squeezes your hand. âTheyâŚthey told me how you were a bad person and that I shouldnât be seeing you.â You donât see Klausâs jaw clench as he looks away from you. âBut I told them that thatâs not how I see you.â His eyes return to you and he canât help himself from interrupting.
âItâs not?â His words catch you off guard, specifically the shock and insecurity in them. You look at him and furrow your eyebrows.
âOf course not,â you say and he parts his lips in surprise. You think you see his eyes start to tear up but that couldâve just been you.Â
Then he clears his throat and says, âSorry, continue.â
âTheyâŚthey told me that I was an idiot for thinking like that.â Klausâs feature harden once more. âThey said that youâve been manipulating me and thatâŚthat you would never actually like me.âÂ
âY/NâŚâ He says your name with concern, but you wonât look at him. You donât want the truth, not yet.
âThey kept saying how they were just looking out for me, how you were using me to spy on them, and that you would only hurt me. Nothing I was saying was getting through to them.â Your fists clench as you remember the anger from before. Klaus notices and his worry only grows. âI justâŚI snapped. I finally told them how Iâve felt neglected by them for months. How theyâve ignored me time and time again and that I was finally happy for the first time in a long time. Thatâs because of you and your family.â
If you were paying attention, you wouldâve seen Klausâs face glow and his heartbeat speed up. He looks at you so intensely that his gaze could burn a hole through you. He looks at you like you are a beautiful light created just for him. Of course, his anger still burns strong at hearing your so-called friends treatment of you, but he never thought that he would be your light. But of course, you didnât see any of this.
Your body deflates as your anger is overpowered by sadness. âThen they told me I should just go ahead and join your family because they werenât my friends anymore.â Your breathing stutters as more tears slip past your eyes. You faintly feel the squeeze of Klausâs hand. âI watched as all of my friends turned on me and kicked me out.â With the pain reigniting, you canât hold back your sobs anymore. âAnd now,â you choke out. âIâm alone.â
As soon as you finish talking, Klaus is quick to envelope you in his arms. You grip his shirt tightly and bury your face into his neck. He holds you just as tight, with one hand around your middle and the other delicately holding the back of your head.Â
âItâs okay, youâre alright,â he whispers, continuing to hold you tight as you let out all of your emotions. He continues to whisper reassurances until sobs stop wracking through you. He waits until your breathing has returned to normal before gently pulling away. Your grip slips away as you sniffle, trying to recompose yourself. But he only pulls away enough to place his hands on your shoulders.Â
You reach up to get rid of the wetness on your face, but his hands beat you there. As his hands gently brush away your tears, you focus your attention on the man in front of you. The two of you are only inches away and your breath hitches with the realization. Youâre suddenly embarrassed that heâs seeing you like this, and youâre sure your face looks like a complete wreck. But he only continues to look at you with concern and empathy.
His hands return to your shoulders as he offers you a small smile. âOkay?â he asks and you nod your head, sniffling one last time. He nods, his smile remaining as his hands fall into his lap. You notice, though, that he makes no move to distance himself from you. His smile slips from his face as a somber look replaces it. Youâre afraid of what heâll say with his face looking so worried.
âIâm so sorry that happened to you, love,â he says. Then his eyebrows furrow. âBut, why do you say that itâs your fault?â
You are not expecting that question. Your eyebrows rise in surprise. âOh,â you say, trying to answer without dredging up anymore intense emotions. âWell, I started the whole thing.â That answer does not satisfy the hybrid as he continues to look at you. You start to become nervous. âI mean, I knew how they felt about you. And I ignored them.â
âDo you regret getting to know me, then?â he asks trying to keep up his indifference, but a wall is built nonetheless in preparation of your answer. You only widen your eyes.
âWhat? No, of course not.â Klaus releases a small sigh of relief. Youâre starting to understand what heâs hinting at, but youâre not prepared to listen and you scramble to come up with something to defend your friends. âButâŚmaybe I should have told them instead of keeping it secret. Or, I shouldnât have brought you up orââ
Two hands are placed on either side of your face as your bleary eyes meet his. He waits a moment before speaking. âYou didnât do anything wrong.â You squeeze your eyes, trying to block out the truth. But his hands donât move from your face. âYour so-called friends are the ones who are in the wrong.â You take a deep breath and meet his gaze. His lips quirk upwards. âYou deserve so much better than them. You donât deserve to be treated that way.â You open your mouth on instinct, but any words of defense die on your tongue.
âI justâŚtheyâre all Iâve ever known. I didnât want to lose that,â you say instead, the reality of the situation settling slowly in your mind. Your panic and grief at losing them is melting into acceptance and, if youâre honest, a bit of relief.
âI know, love,â Klaus says with a sad smile as he lets go of your face to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. âAnd I wish they had been kinder to you. But they havenât been acting like friends. You shouldnât have to defend yourself to them or fight to make yourself seen and heard.â
You nod along, looking at your hands. âI suppose,â you say, which makes him smile at your progress.Â
âAnd youâre wrong, you know.â His words causing you to look up in confusion. âYou are not alone. Not if you donât want to be.â
âI donât understand.âÂ
âYouâre always welcome with my family and I, no matter what your friends say.â Your eyes light up.
âReally?âÂ
âOf course, love,â he chuckles, relieved to see hope return to your face. âWe happen to like you very much and would love to see more of you. If youâd like that, of course.âÂ
âIâd love that!â you say, a bit too enthusiastically. You blush and clear your throat. âI meanâŚI think Iâd like that.â Klaus laughs which brightens your smile. You take a deep breath and you suddenly feel much lighter. âWow. I donât remember the last time Iâve felt this good.â Your smile dips. âI guess my friends really were holding me back, huh?â
Klaus offers a sympathetic smile. Then he takes your hand and squeezes it. âWell thatâs all in the past now, right?âÂ
You nod. âRight.â You look at him and giggle as something hits you. âI promise, Iâm not always in this much distress.â
He chuckles along, but gives you a genuine look. âYouâre allowed to have off days. I certainly do.â You laugh. You take in the beauty of the man sitting before you, the man who is supposed to be villainous and evil instead helping you feel light and happy.
âWell thanks for coming to my rescue for the second time.â The both of you smile, and you suddenly look at him seriously. âSeriously, thank you Klaus.âÂ
He blinks back his surprise as he takes in your serious features. He recovers with a smile. âAnytime love.â
A silence falls over the two of you, and as much as youâd like to spend forever in this moment, todayâs events have both emotionally and physically drained you. You take a look around and notice the darkness of the woods.Â
âItâs pretty late, huh,â you say, awkwardly trying to transition the conversation. Luckily, Klaus catches on quickly.
âI could walk you home if youâd like.â You almost reply with a yes, but then you hesitate. The thought of returning to an empty home, all alone with your thoughts again, doesnât sound too appealing. âWhatâs wrong?â
Youâre surprised that he noticed your hesitation. But you tell him the truth. âI justâŚI donât want to be alone right now,â you say, avoiding eye contact as you canât help but think of your statement as pathetic. Klausâs face softens and he thinks for a moment.
âYou could come home with me, if youâd like.â His gentle voice soothes your worries. At first, your cheeks heat up at the implication. And then your anxiety causes you to spiral.
You turn to him with wide eyes. âI didnât mean to imply that I should come overâI mean Iâd love to, I mean I just wouldnât want you thinking that I was seeking your attention or anythingââ
He shuts you up by placing both hands on your shoulders again. You guess he noticed it helped the last time. You stop talking and look at him to see a calm expression. âI would be honoured to have you in my home,â he says with a smile. You release a breath of relief as a smile creeps onto your lips as well. âBesides,â he drops his hands. âIâm sure my sister will be happy to have another girl around.â
You laugh at his statement, your anxieties slipping away for the moment, just as he had hoped. Klaus stands up from the log and offers you his hand. âHow about it, love?â
You look from his smile to his hand and then back again. You bite your lip to try to contain your excitement. âOkay,â you say, and you take his hand.

Don't Belong pt 1
Masterlist Natasha Masterlist
Word Count: 8392
Relationship: Mother WandaNat x Daugher Reader
Summary: Y/n is the adopted daughter of Natasha Romanoff and Wanda Maximoff. However, when science enables her mother's to have twin boys who are biogloically both of their's, her relationship slowly changes. At 17 she's ready to move out and move on, is it too late for her moms to fix things?
Y/n's POV:
When I was 6, my life was saved by none other than the Black Widow. She came in like the hero she is and saved me from the hell that was Hydra. Whilst helping me to acclimatise to normal life, we grew close, and she was a mother figure I never had. I was so shocked when she told me that she wanted to adopt me.
It was everything that I could ever ask for. She was an amazing mom. Caring, loving and always there for me. She had this soft side that not many people got to see. To the world, and a lot of the team, she had this tough, steely exterior. But I never saw that. Not from the moment she found me. I always felt safe and loved around her.
A couple of years later, Wanda joined the team and soon enough, Mama fell in love. I never saw mama so happy. They had the perfect relationship and Wanda took me on without a second thought. When I was 9, she adopted me, and I had two loving parents.
We had quite a domestic life. Tony built us a separate suite at the compound so we could still be close by for when they were needed for missions. I loved having parents that were heroes. I was so proud of them. I ended up spending quite a bit of time with Pepper when they were on missions together, but when they came home, they always had a couple of days off to spend time with me to make up for being away. It was great.
Watching them make a difference in the world, was the reason I joined the SHIELD Young Initiative Programme. I wanted to be just like my moms. Steve became a huge support to me, and alongside him and mama, I was acing all my practicals and exams.
But before that, when I was 11, our family grew. With the help of Bruce and Tony, Mom got pregnant with twins, both biologically hers and mamas. Billy and Tommy made our family complete.
As soon as Mom got pregnant, Mama told Fury that she wouldn't be going on missions once mom got into her third trimester and that after the birth they both would be taking maternity leave. She also told him that they would only ever be sent on a mission together if it was to save the world. Otherwise, under no circumstances were they to go together. They wanted to be around for the twins as much as possible and didn't want them left on their own if they had to go on missions together.
For the first couple of years, everything was perfect. But when they became toddlers, they were a bit of a handful. It meant that mom's focus went to them and slowly I became less of a priority for them.
I found it hard as I was coming into my teenage years, and I felt like I needed my moms more than ever. But I understood at the start. I was old enough that I could look after myself and the twins needed more. But it got harder when every time I tried to talk to one of them, I was brushed off, or told to speak to them later. But later never came.
Once I hit 13, I was their personal babysitter whenever they needed it. Mama told me how they were trying to make sure that her and mom still had quality time together, so had a date night or day each week. Seems they forgot about quality time with their daughter. It got to the point I was expected to drop everything to be there for my brothers. Picking them up at school, taking them to soccer. It didn't matter what I had planned, I was expected to do my job for the family. I did it without complaining, because I thought if I could prove that I was a good sister, maybe they would start to acknowledge me more.
To try and prove myself worthy, I worked even harder for SHIELD. However, now I lost mama as my training partner. She was too busy with work or the twins to help me train. It hurt when she told me that but, thankfully, Steve stepped up more than he had. He became like a father to me. I could confide in him when my moms didn't have time. Though there were still things that I couldn't talk to him about.
Now I'm 17, working towards graduating the youth programme and into SHEILD as an official agent. We have our final exams coming up and I'm doing everything I can to be ready for them. The top two initiates will get fast tracked through the system and be able to go on missions sooner.
I want nothing more than getting that chance. I need to start making a name for myself and to stop being under my mothers' shadow. Once I wanted to be just like them, to make them proud. But now I know that's not possible. They have their perfect biological family. I was just the stray they took pity on.
"You know, you could take it easy today. You're more than capable of passing these exams even on a bad day. You'll be finishing top of the class and joining us for missions in no time." Steve tells me as he holds the punch bag for me. "I just want to be on top of my game." I tell him, hitting the bag as precisely as I could.
"Have you told your moms about the date for your final practical. I'm sure they'll want to be around when you get home." He asks, making me falter with my hits. "I did, but I don't think they were listening. Although they seemed to acknowledge it, Billy was showing them his Lego at the time." I share with him.
Steve knows what's been happening with my moms and the only reason he hasn't done anything is because I made him promise not to. All I need to do is graduate and then I can get moved into the SHIELD facility and start a new life without being a burden on my family.
"You know, you should talk to them. I know you've tried, but really sit them down and tell them how you're feeling." He tries once again. "It's been years now. If they really cared for me, they would notice that they barely see me anymore. I don't even remember the last time they said I love you." I respond, my hits getting harder.
"Ok, I'm calling this. You'll hurt yourself and then you won't even be able to complete your exams." Steve tells me, stepping between me and the bag. I sigh but know he's right. "Just try for me ok. Maybe after your exams. They'll be so proud of you." He pleads. "Ok, fine." I agree. "Now go shower kiddo. You stink!" He teases me before dodging a punch I try to land on his arm.
I smile as I head up to my room. As I walk into our apartment, I see the happy family sat together watching TV. "Hi moms." I call out when I enter. They don't even turn around, so I call out again, only to get the same response. I decide to go and join them but as soon as I sit down, I'm scolded by mom. "Y/n do you have to come in here like that. Go and shower will you." She tells me off. I look to mama who doesn't even glance in my direction. "Sorry, I was training for my final exam." I explain but once again, nothing. I let out a small humourless chuckle to myself as I leave the living room. Every day, I feel more and more like I don't belong here anymore.
__________
I did it! I actually passed! Not only did I pass, I topped the class. I think I even saw Fury smile. I'm so happy, nothing can burst my bubble right now. As a class, we all decide that we're going to celebrate tonight. We've been a tight group and it'll be nice to actually spend time together without having to study or practice.
I practically run back to the compound, smiling ear to ear. "Someone's happy." Steve calls out to me as I rush through the kitchen. "Someone might be your partner one day!" I call out as I keep on towards my destination of finding my parents. "Can't wait kiddo. Well done! Knew you could do it!" Steve shouts after me.
"Y/n, don't run!" Mama scolds me as I find them in the living room. "Sorry, but I have to tell you something that I know you'll want to hear." I apologise with a smile on my face. "Not now Y/n. We're about to head out. The boys just need dinner and don't let them stay up late." She tells me. That's when I notice that she's dressed up in her best jacket.
"I can't look after the twins tonight. Our class are going to celebrate." I explain, hoping she might ask why we're celebrating. But that would be wishful thinking. "Time with your friends can wait Y/n." She tells me without even looking up at me, too focused on her phone. "Can't one of the others watch them. Just for tonight. I've never asked before. But just this once. Please." I practically beg, but to no use. "Stop being selfish and just watch the boys." She snaps, making a lump form in my throat.
"Fine." I mumble, leaving the room and head out of our apartment. "Where are you going?" She calls after me. "To see Steve. Don't worry, I'll be back to watch your precious boys." I talk back whilst leaving, hearing her call after me.
I make my way to find Steve. I know he'll be excited with my results. I wipe at my eyes for the few traitorous tears that fell. "So, I hear someone will be an Avenger in no time." Tony says as I walk into the kitchen. "I think I'll stick with SHIELD." I respond. I have no desire to be a full time Avenger. I'll be around to see my moms live their perfect life without me.
"I'm proud of you kiddo." Steve smiles at me, pulling me into a hug. "Thanks, old man. I couldn't have done it without you." I tell him truthfully, squeezing him tighter. "Your mom's must be proud. Especially Nat. Now's the time for celebrating." Pepper says. "Oh, I'm babysitting the boys tonight." I respond, trying to hide my disappointment. I notice that all others share a look.
They have all noticed how my relationship has changed with my moms, but thankfully, never brought it up. "We could watch them. Let you go out with your class. I know how much you've been looking forward to it." Pepper offers kindly. "Thanks, but mama said it had to be me." I reply. "Sorry kiddo." Steve says, wrapping his arms around me. "It's ok. I better go back before I get into trouble. I just wanted to tell you all about the results." I tell them.
"Of course Y/n. We're so proud of you. I can't wait to work with you." Tony pats me on the shoulder, whilst the others all give me a hug. "We'll do something together tomorrow." Steve promises and I nod. "I'd like that." I reply, taking a deep breath before heading back home.
When I get back to the apartment, both mom and mama are waiting to go. "Good, you're back. We'll be home late." Mom tells me, turning to leave. "And we'll talk about your attitude in the morning." Mama adds on with a stern look before turning to leave. "I love you." I call out after them. No response. My head drops. I really have just become the live in nanny.
_________
The next day, I didn't have to face my moms in the morning. They had taken the boys to the park and out for breakfast. I didn't even get an invite. But thankfully, Steve is taking me for dinner tonight to celebrate the passing of my exams and my imminent graduation.
He's taken me to my favourite Italian restaurant. It's nice to have this time. Steve really has been the only parent I've had recently. I'm so grateful for him. "So your moms don't know?" Steve asks as I tell him that I've been told I can move into SHIELD accommodation in a few days. "I've tried, but as usual, I barely have a conversation with them anymore. They probably wouldn't even notice that I've gone." I admit the painful truth. "Do you think they even still love me?" I ask the question that has been haunting me for a long time now.
Steve looks at me with a sympathetic look. He reaches out and takes my hand. "Oh Y/n. I'm sure they do. They just got lost in the boys and have forgot, that even though you're a teenager, you still need them." He tries to defend them. "If you say so." I mumble, not believing him.
"Well, I have something that might cheer you up." Steve says, changing the subject. "Oh yeah, and what might that be Captain?" I ask with a smirk, making him roll his eyes. "I spoke with Fury, and he already has a mission for you. It's nothing too big, a simple in and out to get some data." Steve explains, making a smile grow on my face. "Really? Me on a mission already?" I question and he nods. "Fury would have had you on them earlier. You've been the best recruit the programme has seen. But he had to follow protocol. There is one downside though." He shares. "Oh God, don't tell me it's with my mother?" I ask making him laugh. "No, just this old man." He responds. "Really? I'm going with you?" I ask excitedly. "Yeah, you don't need me. But I wanted to see you in action on your first mission. I really am proud of you kiddo. I'm glad that I've had a front row seat to seeing you become the woman you have." He expresses honestly, taking me off guard.
The rest of dinner is lovely, and I have a really nice time. It's nice to actually have someone care about your achievements. However, that happiness soon disappears when I enter the apartment to two angry moms. "Where do you think you've been? You've not been answering your phone." Mama yells at me. I reach into my pocket and see that my phone is dead.
"Sorry, my cell died." I tell her, but that doesn't help. "So, are you going to share where you were without telling us? It's 10pm Y/n!" Mom now joins in. "I was having dinner with Steve." I share. "Until this late. Why would you be going out for dinner on a school night? Why didn't he ask us first?" Mama questions me.
"We went out to celebrate when I missed going with my class. And it's not a school night. The programme has finished now." I tell them, trying to keep my cool. "Is this about that party you couldn't go to last night?" Mom asks. "No, actually, it was having someone to celebrate with that I finished top of my class and am now officially a SHIELD agent!" I snap back, taking them both by surprise.
"You've had your final exams already?" Mom asks, stepping closer but I pull away. "Yeah, I have told you on a number of occasions. But apparently you don't listen to me anymore." I admit, feeling tears building. "You finished top?" Mama says proudly, but I just scoff. Her pride is too late. "Like you even care." I growl. "Don't talk to your mother like that." Mom tells me off.
"Like what? You haven't given me the time of day in years. Why do you suddenly care that I was out late. Was I not around to be your personal babysitter? Or were you just annoyed I wasn't there for the one time you noticed I wasn't around." I call them both out taking them by surprise.
"Y/n it was one night." Mom tries to deny more calmly. "No, it wasn't. It's always the twins this, the twins that. I have to make allowances for them in my life and stop what I'm doing to be there to babysit them. When was the last time that you spent any time with me? When did you last tell me you love me or even acknowledge me?" I shout, tears falling down my cheeks, as my parents stand staring at me in shock.
"I have worked my ass off with SHIELD so I can get in and earn my spot with them. Where I can have my own place and start a life for myself. Because I clearly haven't been a part of this family for a long time." I share how I've been feeling. I notice that both their eyes tear up. "Oh Y/n, sweetheart, that's not the case. Of course you belong." Mama tries to argue, moving closer with a shaky hand out in front of her. I don't reach out. In fact, I move away. "Well neither of your actions have shown it in the last few years." I point out, making mom cry harder. "Look it's fine. I get it. I'm not your biological child. Billy and Tommy are. I'll always be grateful for you saving me from Hydra, but you've got your family now. Don't worry, I'll be gone in a couple of days." I say sadly before heading to my room, my moms frozen in shock in their spot.
I slam the door shut behind me, locking it and falling onto my bed. I bury my head into the pillow and sob. All the emotions I've been bottling up come out. My whole body wracks with each sob as I realise, it's official. I really have lost my family now.
Nat's POV:
I feel the tears slowly falling down my cheeks as I realise that my daughter stood before me as a broken girl who thinks her moms don't love her anymore. By the time I come to my senses, Y/n is already gone, and I'm left facing my wife who is sobbing. "Have we really been putting the boys first so much she thinks that we don't want her anymore?" I say at a whisper, my voice getting caught in my throat.
"It's my fault. Things changed when I came into the picture, and we started trying for our own babies. We didn't even consider how that must have made her feel. We didn't even reassure her that we would still love her just as much, regardless of if the boys were ours biologically or not." Wanda responds.
I quickly move forward and wrap my arms around her. "It's not your fault my love. We both wanted that. Our lives are significantly better with you in them Wanda. But you're right. We should have tried harder to make sure we involved Y/n and showed her will still love her." I comfort her.
I can't believe that I've let Y/n get to this point. The day I found her in that cell, she changed my life for the better. She not only made me a mother, but she made me more human. She made me see there was more than being an Avenger. She is the reason that I who I am today. Yet I've neglected her. I got so focused on the twins that I didn't even notice how little I have seen Y/n.
"We should go and talk to her." I suggest whilst Wanda still clings to me. "She was angry. We should give her some space. Let's take her for breakfast in the morning. I'll ask Pepper to watch the boys and we can start to make this right." She counters. "But..." I start, not wanting to leave this longer than we have to. "This is our daughter we're talking about. She has your temper." Wanda tearily chuckles. "Hey!" I poorly defend. She's right though. She might not be biologically mine, but she is my mini me.
That night I don't sleep. All I can think of is every time that I blew Y/n off and decided to spend time with the twins instead. When did we stop doing things as a family? I try and think of the last time I trained with her or helped her prepare for her exams. God, how did I not even know she was taking them this week?! "Your thoughts are loud Detka." Wanda mumbles sleepily as she turns over to look at me. When she sees the distress on my face, she gives me a sympathetic smile. "She has worked so hard, and we didn't even know she was completing her final exams. She told us yet neither of us remembered or even heard her apparently. We are awful moms!" I sigh.
Wanda moves and pulls me into her embrace. "I know. I feel awful too. I'm so proud of her though. She finished top. She's just like you." She shares. "She's moving out." I realise whilst Wanda just looks at me confused. "What do you mean?" She questions. "She said she would be gone in a few days. She must have been assigned a room at SHIELD. Our little girl was ready to leave the nest and we didn't even know." I respond, another wave of sadness washing over me.
"We'll talk to her and make her see that she is still very much wanted here. If she still wants to move out that's fine, but she has to know that we love her and always have. We can't change the past but we sure as hell can make sure we change the future and how see feels." She says determined.
Neither of us really sleep. I think we regret not talking to her last night. But our tiredness soon takes over and we get some much need kip. It definitely won't do any of us favours when we talk to Y/n in the morning. She won't make it easy on us and I don't want to snap because I'm too tired.
When we eventually get up, we check on the boys and I go to ask Pepper if she would mind watching the boys. "Is Y/n not available?" Pepper asks with a humourless chuckle. "What? No, we're going to take her to breakfast." I respond, surprised at the bite to her tone. She hums in surprise. "I'll take the boys. Make sure you treat that girl. She definitely deserves it." She tells me firmly. I nod and thank her before going to get the boys.
"Everything ok?" Wanda asks me when I take Billy from her. "Whilst we've been failing to notice Y/n, I think everyone else has noticed our behaviour. It's very frosty down there." I tell her and she nods sadly. I guess we can't expect anything less.
It makes me wonder what could have happened if we didn't have everyone else around. They have clearly been supportive to her and been there when Wanda and I should have. What if she didn't have that support, would she have even still been with us?
Shaking off the thought, Wanda and I take the boys to the compound living room, where we receive a number of glares from the team that were there. Thankfully, nothing is said, but my guilt keeps on growing.
With the boys sorted, I take Wanda's hand and we head to Y/n's room. I take a deep breath and knock on the door. We wait anxiously but get no response. I try again, calling out to her this time. "Y/n, honey. Can we come in?" I ask, but once again, we're met by silence.
I look to Wanda who's got a concerned look on her face. "Sweetheart, we're going to come in now." Wanda speaks up and pushes down on the door handle. I'm surprised when it opens but that is soon replaced by shock when I see her room practically empty. There are a couple of boxes with her stuff in, but most of her clothes have gone.
I let go of Wanda's hand and quickly move into the ensuite to see if she's in there, but I'm met by more empty cabinets. Panic builds within me to know that she's gone. "Where is she?" Wanda asks as stands by the chest of draws, picking up photos that had been turned upside. She lets out a muffled sob when she sees they're our family photos. What have we done to our daughter.
"She's probably asked Fury if she could move sooner. Considering how much he loves her, I'm sure he would have done anything to get her in as soon as possible." I respond, letting out a sigh. "But she's only 17. She's still a kid." Wanda argues. "I know babe. But when she signed up, it was part of the contract that I signed as her parent. Besides, she turns 18 next week and we'd have no say anyway." I admit.
"Shit, is it already her birthday? We've done nothing to prepare for that. In fact, I'm sure we both forgot." Wanda exhales, running her hands through her hair, whilst I made sure all the photos were back upright. Though, I notice our last family photo was back when Y/n was just 15. We've got hundreds of photos with the twins, but it's been over two years since we've had a complete family photo.
Wanting to know that Y/n is ok, I grab my phone out and hit Fury's number. It rings out and I let out a sigh before trying Maria. "Romanoff." She greets me. "Hill, I was wondering if you could tell me if Y/n has moved into her room yet and if so where she's been placed. Wanda and I want to surprise her." I try my luck.
"I'm sorry, Y/n has asked that we don't disclose her room location at the moment. She has been allowed early move in, so will be in a position to share once the other agents are moving." Hill responds. "Please, Maria, I'm asking you as a friend. We really need to see Y/n." I plead, hoping she'll have sympathy on me. "And I'm telling you as a friend that how you treated your own daughter is unacceptable. Do you know why she was the best cadet to come through?" She calls me out. "No." I respond in a whisper. "Initially it was because she was trying to be just like her hero mothers. But she got even better when she was fighting to make her own name for herself to start her life over. I watched her personality change to become guarded and her walls built high. That's what you did to her Nat." She scolds me through the phone.
"I know Maria. We have fucked up more than we thought possible and we're trying to make this right. We can't do that if we can't even speak with her." I counter. "This isn't something you can just fix with a talk and a hug. This is years of you slowly neglecting her. Pushing yourself onto her is not going to help with that." Maria warns me. I know she's right. We'll end up pushing Y/n away if we're not careful. But I also know that I can't wait to fix this. I want my baby girl to know how much I love her. Despite my inability to show her these last few years.
Wanda and I spend the day trying to get any information on where Y/n might be. We get a lot of cold shoulders, and our questions often go answered. I even spend time hanging around the Shield accommodation to see if I can catch a glimpse of her. My lucks not in and I return home deflated.
When I walk through the door, a smile forms on my face as I see Wanda giving the boys dinner. "Any luck?" She asks. I just shake my head. "We'll find her." She says confidently. "When was the last time we had dinner with Y/n?" I ask, looking to Wanda who's looking at me sympathetically. "Detka, you are punishing yourself by think that." She scolds me lightly. "It's true though. She asked when we last said I love you to her. I've been trying to think, and I don't remember. How can a mother not remember when they last said I love you to their child. Have we really subconsciously disregarded her because she isn't biologically ours?" I share my thoughts, tears falling freely down my face.
Wanda quickly moves from the table, leaving the boys to carry on talking about the latest Nintendo game they're playing. She wraps her arms around me and pulls me in close. "We let ourselves get lost in the boys. They were a handful and we were blessed with a daughter who was selfless and caring. Subconsciously, we took advantage of that. But that changes now ok." She responds as I nod in the crock of her neck. We really need to fix this.
__________
It's been a few days and we've still had no luck in seeing Y/n. Wanda and I decided to go to Shield to talk to Fury today, whilst the boys were in school. I head straight to his office, knocking twice before heading in, not caring if he's busy. "Romanoff, Maximoff. What can I do for you?" He asks, moving his gaze from the laptop in front of him.
"It's been long enough now Fury. The other agents have started moving in and Y/n is still only 17, so tell us where she is staying." I demand, my tone harsh. "I can give you her room allocation, but she's not there." Fury responds, just angering me more. "Then where the hell is she?!" I shout, only calming down when I feel Wanda squeeze my hand. "She's on a mission. She'll back tomorrow." He responds nonchalantly.
"A mission? She's 17 Fury! How is she already going on a mission?!" Wanda responds before I even manage to direct my own anger into words. "She is almost 18 and finished top of her class. You knew that was a possibility when you signed her up Romanoff. She has the potential to be the best agent we've seen. She is ready." Fury retorts, but I'm still not happy. "She's just a kid, she could get hurt." I growl, worry taking over me.
"Natasha, she is far from the kid you think she is. If you still trained with her, you'd see that she can almost beat Steve in hand to hand combat and her weapons skill matches your own, if not better in some instances." He points out and I realise how little I actually know my daughter right now. "Look, I'll keep you posted when she's back." Fury concedes after a moment silence.
"Thank you. Is she on her own?" I ask but he shakes his head. "Steve went to be on comms." He replies and that puts my mind at ease a little. He loves her like his own, he'll do everything that he can to protect her. "Ok. Thank you." I say, taking Wanda's hand a heading home.
"We've missed so much Nat. Y/n used to tell us everything about her training and classes. We've created an environment where she doesn't feel like she can share with us anymore. She was probably so excited to get a chance on her first mission. But instead of us being with her and making sure she's prepared, we didn't even know she had gone." Wanda agonises.
"I'm worried that we may not be able to fix this. If her walls have gone up, they'll be near impossible to knock them down." I sigh. "You had walls once. What helped you to let them down?" Wanda asks. "Y/n." I respond, my gaze dropping to my hands. "Then we find away to be the same for her." Wanda tries to comfort me. But how can the people that caused her this pain, be the ones to pull her through.
The next morning is quiet whilst we get the boys ready for school. They asked this morning where Y/n was and that they missed her. It broke my heart. Because of our actions, not only is Y/n feeling alone, isolated, and not part of this family, but her brother might lose the chance of having their sister in their lives.
When we get home, we end up just sat waiting for any news that Y/n is on her way home so we can greet her. I want to be able to hear all about how her first mission went and actually be apart of something so special to her. I may not have shown it, but I've always been proud of her. She is talented and I loved training with her. I had always planned to join her again once the twins were old enough. But I didn't and it seems that I have missed out on so much.
Whilst I'm preparing lunch, I hear Friday's alarm go off and my ears tune in. "Emergency medical team to the landing bay. Emergency medical team to the landing bay." I don't even think before I'm dropping the knife onto the countertop. I go to call for Wanda, but she rushes in from the bedroom. "Something's wrong with Jess. I can feel it." She says worriedly. "Let's go." I say, taking her hand and rushing through the compound to get to the landing bay.
Cho is waiting, along with a nursing staff. "Is it Y/n?" I ask as we come to a halt next to her. It feels like an age before she responds. A small nod of the head breaks my heart. "H-how bad?" Wanda asks, a tremble to her voice. "Steve confirmed a gunshot wound. She's lost a lot of blood." She responds. I run my hand through my hair, my stomach in knots.
It feels like the world around me has become muffled. I don't hear the orders that Cho is giving her team. Had I been able to, maybe I would have known more about her condition. My chest feels tight at the thought of her being hurt and the chance that she might not make it.
It's not until a pair of hands cup my face, that I zone back into the environment around me. "Breathe for me baby." Wanda's shaking voice tries to calm me. But the complete fear in her own eyes doesn't do much to help. We're facing losing our daughter and she doubts the depths of our love for her.
I do my best to bring myself out of this panic attack. I can't be a broken version of myself. My wife and family need me more than ever. If I can't pull through now, I'm not worthy to be a mother. "That's it detka. Deep breathes." Wanda guides me. I take one more deep breath and stand straighter. This isn't about me.
I can see a frown on Wanda's face form as she sees me put up my own walls. I know that she hates when I do this, but it's the only way I know how to get through what's about to happen without completely breaking down.
It's not long until the QuinJet comes into sight and slowly starts to descend on to the landing pad. I feel like I'm holding my breath as we wait for the ramp to lower, and we can see how bad this is. My heart is thumping against my chest as it begins to lower, and I see Steve's face first.
Cho and her team move forward, a bed waiting, whilst Wanda and I hold back. I want to be by her side straight away, but I also know that we'll just be a hinderance to her care if we insist on being with her.
When we get a full view of Steve, I hear Wanda let out a sob beside me. He's holding our unconscious daughter in his arms. His own suit is covered in blood and my eyes instantly land on the blooded dressing on her stomach. "I tried to staunch the bleeding as best I could. But it just kept coming." Steve explains. I've never seen him so shaken up before.
He places Y/n on the hospital bed and moves out the way, before staring at his bloodied hands. Cho doesn't wait before rushing Y/n off to the medical bay, the three of us closely following behind.
"Is she going to be ok?" I ask as they start to get to work. But before she has a chance to respond, the machines start to go crazy and they move even faster to help my daughter. "I can't answer that right now Agent Romanoff. I need to focus on Y/n, but I promise I'll keep you updated." Cho says, her polite way of telling us to leave. I'm reluctant, knowing that in this moment, Y/n is on the verge of life or death. But with a subtle tug of my hand from Wanda, I follow to watch through the window outside.
My gaze doesn't leave my daughter as I watch over as the team work to save her life. I don't notice that another person has joined us until I hear a bang from behind me. My head shoots around where I see Steve pinning Fury to the wall. "You told us it was empty! That all she needed was to get to the drive and out again." Steve growls at Fury who's holding his hand up in surrender. "I know." He responds, but Steve isn't happy when he slams him against the wall again.
"Then why the hell is she led in that hospital fighting for her life. There was a whole guard waiting for her!" Steve yells. This information makes the anger inside me grow. "You sent her into an ambush?!" I join in now, furious that he has put my daughter in danger.
"I didn't know! I'm as surprised as you are." Fury tries to explain, but Steve isn't letting up. "Talk!" Steve spits. "I had an agent scout the base for two weeks! Every report was how there was no activity. I would never have sent her had I know there was any more risk. It was supposed to be an easy mission for her first." Fury explains.
I can see the honesty in his eyes, and I know Steve does too. Fury has been like family to Y/n and I do trust he would never willingly put her in unnecessary danger. "So, either Hydra suddenly decided to man the base or..." Steve starts. "The agent tipped them off." I finish off as Fury nods. "I've detained the agent, and he broke within minutes. It was a perfect opportunity for them to fight you without back up." Fury shares as Steve lets him go. "Except I wasn't meant to go in. So, they were faced with Y/n." Steve concludes.
"I'm sorry Nat. I really am. I never would put Y/n in danger like that. I wanted her to have a successful first mission. One that would build her confidence." Fury apologises with a sincerity that he rarely shows. "I want to see him." I state firmly, to which Fury sighs. "Me too. It's because of him that our daughter is fighting for her life." Wanda steps beside me, her eyes glowing red. "Not now, not while you're both angry and worried." Fury refuses. "He could be the reason my daughter dies!" I shout at him, but he doesn't budge. "And he'll also be the reason I have to arrest you for killing him. If it's not you it'll be Wanda. I'm not letting either of you do that." Fury once again declines.
In a huff, I drop to the seat in the waiting room, my head falling into my hands. He's right. I will kill him if I get my hands on him. "Be here for Y/n. She needs you now more than ever. Leave the rest to me. I can promise that he will not get away with it." Fury orders, the formality coming back into his tone. We all reluctantly agree, and he leaves content that, for now, a homicide will not be occurring.
"What happened?" I ask Steve when the silence becomes almost unbearable. He takes the seat next to me and his gaze falls to his blooded hands. "It was meant to be a simple mission to test her hacking. I was in the QuinJet for support, and she was to go in, get to the mainframe computer and download as much data as possible." He starts and I nod along. "It was going fine, and she was doing everything by the book, clearing each room one by one. Part of me was sure she would be just like you and be impatient to get what she needed." He shares, with a small smile, making me chuckle. "Thankfully, she's a far better agent than I am." I respond, feeling Wanda's hand interlink with mine.
"It was as she got to the second floor, she said something felt off. It was warmer and it didn't smell as damp and musty. She said there were signs that this floor had been used recently. Knowing the risk that could entail, I told her to pull back and we'd get a team to help us clear the base. It wasn't something we should be doing on our own." He continues to explain, my anger towards the double agent increasing by the minute. But I also feel pride at how she was able to establish that something was wrong.
"She did as I ordered, but she was ambushed on her way out. I was already on my way in to meet her when I heard gunshots start. By the time I reached her, all the agents were down around her, but an alarm was blaring, and I knew others would be on their way. I grabbed at Y/n's arm, but she didn't move. As I moved in front of her, it was then I saw where her gaze was fixed. She's been hit. I got her out of there as quickly as I could and set the QuinJet to fly on autopilot. I tried everything that I could to stop the bleeding, but there was just so much. I-I...." Steve starts to crumble as he aggressively rubs at the blood on his hands.
I reach out and place my hands over his, stopping his actions. "I know you would have done everything you could Steve. We don't blame you. I'm so grateful that you were there to help our daughter." I try to reassure him. "I'm going to clean up. I can't sit here with...this on my hands any longer." Steve says, standing up holding his hands out in front of him.
Silence falls again when it's just Wanda and me. I want to look through the window again, but I don't think I can see them working on her. If she dies, I can't watch that. She looked so small as Steve laid her on the bed. "I had always hoped I'd be with her on her first mission." I speak up, guilt building once again. "Hmm" Wanda responds, turning to look at me. "When we used to train together, I always knew she would be one of the best the agency we would see. I couldn't wait to work along side her. My pride was overwhelming." I share as Wanda smiles softly at me.
"What happened? Why did I let myself lose sight of her. I have no excuse for treating her how I did. When I adopted her, I promised that she would always be loved and safe. Look at her now. I wouldn't blame her if she never forgives me." I lament, tears stinging my eyes. "It wasn't just you babe. We both have done wrong by Y/n and it's not forgivable. But we can work to earn her trust back and be the mothers that she deserves." She tries to comfort me.
"What if she doesn't make it and we don't have a chance to make things right? Or she does make it through, but she wants nothing to do with us?" I question in a panic. "I think she always hoped you'd eventually pull your heads out your asses." Steves voice takes us both by surprise as he rejoins us in a pair of sweats and a hoody. "What do you mean?" I ask, confused.
"Fury loves that kid. If she had asked to move out sooner, he would have allowed her too. I think part of her didn't want to go just in case you started being the loving and caring mothers you once were. Ultimately, she was still a kid and desperate to still have you in her life." He clarifies. "But she had already gone. We blew our last shot." Wanda speaks up. "Maybe you're right. But if anyone is worth fighting for. It's her." Steve points out and I couldn't agree more. I know that I'll do anything in my power to make things right and hopefully prove to my daughter that I love her more than I can express.
After hours of waiting, too scared to even glance through the window, Cho comes out of the medical room with a solemn look, and it feels like all the air has been sucked out of the room. I feel my breathing pick up once again, the thought of not being able to fix everything with Y/n becomes suffocating. It's not until Wanda grasps my hand that I find myself zoning back in.
"H-how is s-she?" I find myself asking in a quiet, unsure voice. Cho sighs and takes the seat opposite us, her hands interlocked. "Y/n suffered a gunshot wound to her abdomen. The bullet went straight through her liver. We were required to remove part of her liver, to ensure we saved her life. This was harder with the amount of blood that she lost. However, we were able to stabilise her before repairing the damage done to her liver." She explains.
"So, she's going to be, ok?" Wanda asks to clarify. "It's going to be touch and go. She's extremely weak right now and the next couple of days are going to be critical to her recovery. If she can pull through these next few days, I believe she'll make a full recovery. Though it'll take a lot of rehab to adjust to the changes to her body." Cho confirms.
I let out a small sob, knowing that she can pull through this. I have to believe that she will make it through these next few days, and we can be there to support her through her recovery. "Will she be able to return to full field duties?" Steve asks, clearly agitating Wanda. "Really Steve. That's what you're concerned about right now?" She snaps.
He turns to look at us and I know exactly why he's asking. "The SHIELD programme is everything to Y/n. To lose it after only just achieving it, that will crush her." Steve defends. "I think she would rather be alive right now." Wanda snaps back. "You just don't want to face that the honest truth is that without this programme, Y/n will feel like she has nothing, and I hate to say it, but she won't be too happy about being alive." Steve shares, an angry, yet sad look on his face.
Wanda goes to argue back, a look of hurt washing over her face. But I hold my hand up to stop her. "He's right my love." I interrupt her, making her snap her head to me. "SHIELD was the only family she thought that she had after she believed that she didn't belong in this family anymore. It will break her if she can't carry on what she worked so hard to achieve." I admit sadly.
I lock eyes with Wanda, and I see her heartbreak even further, if that's possible. "It'll take time and a lot of hard work, but I believe that Y/n would be able to return to full duties within SHIELD." Cho chips in, reminding us all that she was still in the room. "But first, she needs to get through the next few days." She reiterates, making all of us nod.
"Can we see her?" I ask, desperate to be with her and to hold her hand. "Of course. I'll be in my office, but the nursing staff will monitor her hourly." She smiles at us and leaves us to it. I take Wanda's hand and lead her towards the door and slowly push the door open. I let out a gasp when I see my little girl led in bed. She has a tube down her throat and wires attached to so many machines.
I've seen many people in this situation. But when it's your own daughter, there aren't words to describe the pain you feel. How helpless you are to make them better. All you can do is sit and watch as you wait for fate to take its course. Praying that you get your daughter back.
I instantly move to take a seat next to her bed, taking her hand in mine and holding it tightly. I notice the bruising to her knuckles, showing she fought. It brings a small smile of pride to my face.
Wanda goes to the opposite side of the bed and gently places her hand on Y/n's head. "I'm so sorry moya Lyubov." She whispers, leaning in to press a kiss to her forehead. "We promise we're going to make things right. We are so sorry that you ever felt like you didn't belong in this family. You'll never doubt this again!" I make promise to her now, one that I will repeat when she wakes up. Because she will wake up.

Days turned to weeks, to months, to years. Until eventually an eon had passed. An entirety filled to the brim with an indescribable happiness and love, threatening to spill over at any given moment. You loved Adam and Adam loved you.
To say it was all happiness would be a lie, there were some moments of sadness and pain, but all relationships were like that, even ones that lasted for eternity. You both always bounced back, apologize and moved on with a stronger bond than before. And you loved every second of it.
A lot has changed in these last few eons. Adam formed a band and is now the most popular guitarist in all of heaven. You both made new friends, some got into heaven while others were made there. Emily was one of these people to you, she looked up to you for being older than her. Youâve existed for almost all of human existence so, of course sheâd look up to you.
Adam had also made new friends, his band members, some officials in heaven, but someone heâs grown close to recently was Lute. You're really happy about his friendship with Lute. She seems like a strong and loyal friend, someone that can keep him grounded while still encouraging him to be more himself. Overall, you really liked her.
How they became friends though is something⌠less tasteful for you. All the way back when Heaven and Hell had their first meeting on what to do with the surplus of sinners in hell causing an uprising. Neither side came to an agreement in the end, you do feel partially to blame for that, but you still stand by what you did.
You never returned to any of the follow up meetings
But Adam did, surprisingly to you. In the end, you were called to talk with Sera and Adam. You were told of the agreement between Heaven and Hell, about the yearly âcleanseâ that Adam and his âExorcistsâ would have to commit. At first you were shocked, sure, you didnât have the best experience with sinners and especially with the rulers of hell, but was death really necessary? You didnât know what to say, and Adam clearly saw this.
âBabe, you alright?â He puts his hand on your shoulder rubbing his thumb in circles. You place your hand on his.
âYeah itâs just a lot to take in. Are we sure it has to be done⌠that way?â
Sera looked down in pain âtheyâre⌠uprising and are becoming to much of a threat to heaven.â
You sighed as Adam took you in his arms. Adam was fully aware that you donât share the same sentiment towards sinners as he does. His hatred towards the unholy souls down in hell was brought about by events that you simply cannot understand. Which he is thankful for, he never would want you to experience what he did.
âIf there isnât anything else we can do then⌠I guess we have no choice. But I donât want to⌠kill anyone, even if they are sinners.â
Adam holds you closer âYou wonât have to,â you smile at him, the now familiar flickering of his LED mask meeting your gaze before softly frown âyou ok?â
You nod, âyeah, justâŚI wish there was another way.â
-
That was it. Adam would take his exorcists down to hell to kill as many sinners as they could each year. Adam knew you didnât want him to talk about it , he kept it as separate as he could from your life. You did have to attend meetings regarding it, as one of the very few people to know about it, that was your duty.
You were fine with having that part of the job. You weren't sure if you could kill someone, sinner or not. So, for the countless years to follow, you played your part with every new extermination, attending meetings to deal with the repercussions of each cleanse.
Adam would also have to attend the occasional meeting. Which is exactly what today was. Sera had called you both in to talk.
âThank you both for coming. I have to inform you that you will be attending a meeting tomorrow.â
Adam groaned âWhat! Again? This is like the 4th fuckinâ one this week! Ugh fine! Where is it this time? halo city? Cherub towneâ Adamâs voice mocked the locations youâve both been sent to countless times with a high pitched voice. Even you have to admit that the meetings could drag a bit.
Sera's face turned into a slight grimace as she looks away from you both, she sighs and continues âThe meeting will be in⌠hell.â
âWhat!â Both your voices raise in shock
âSera, you know I donât want to go down there again!â
âWhy canât you just send the other fucking dipshits who know about-â Adam crossed his arms defiantly
âStop,â Sera raises her hand toward you both âno one wants to go there, and I know you both especially donât.â She pauses âBut you both are the only available angels who know of the cleanse that aren't busy. Please⌠I understand your disdain but heavenâs business comes first.â
âWho are we even gonna be talking to -Wait a damn minute- Donât fucking tell me we have to talk to him.â
âI'm sorryâŚâ You all sat in silence for a moment before Sera begins to speak again, âBut you both wonât have to worry about physically being there, we have prepared holograms for you, so neither of you would be in any danger.â
âI'll have an Angel escort you to the âmeetingâ room tomorrow, please, get some rest. Iâm sure you both have had a long day.â
With that, you and Adam went home, you were definitely not feeling well about the meeting, but the fact you wouldnât actually be there calms your nerves a bit. You had to be a little honest with yourself, hell wasnât really the issue for you, it was more so the people. Lucifer for one, that made you feel uneasy.
The next morning, you and Adam got ready, you had to motivate him a little. He was clearly not excited for this meeting like you. The entire way there he held you close, even though nothing could have hurt you it made him feel better knowing how close you were.
On the way there, you also got Adam some ribs, his favorite. You thought it would help his nerves a bit. Turns out, Lute was the one Sera assigned to escort you both there. That also made you both a little calmer knowing a mutual friend would be there.
The three of you waited in the âmeetingâ room for a while, about an hour. At first you thought the meeting might had been canceled or moved and you just weren't told. But then, Lute walked up to you both.
âSir! The Seraphim has told me to inform you that thereâs been a change in plans!â
âWhat? The fucks that mean?â Adam said stuffing a rib into his LED mouth
âLucifer wonât be attending the meeting, instead⌠his Daughter will be here in his stead.â Luteâs mask showed a continuous frown and stern expression as she spoke.
âDaughter?â Your voice shook a little. This was news to you, as long as youâve existed you had never heard he had a daughter while in hell. You look over to Adam to see His LED eyes were wide in shock but his mask turned into a smile as he sighed.
âPhew boy, we sure dodged a big ass bullet, huh Sweetcheeks?â He laughed as his arm pulled you closer. The whole thing caused you to join in. Suddenly your nerves felt a lot better than before.
âWhen should she be arriving, Lute?â
âWithin the hour.â
-
Adam scarfed down another plate of ribs as you all wait for the âprincess of hellâ to arrive. The entire time you just had to wonder what kind of person sheâd be. The daughter of Lucifer and Lilith. The more you thought about it, the more bizarre it seemed.
But suddenly your thoughts were interrupted by the sliding doors opening to the meeting room and a girl steps in, asking if anyone is there.
âShe canât see us?â
âYeah, Sera gave me a long ass lector on how this stuff works before we got here. Letâs see hereâŚâ Adam pushes a button causing a click to sound out as he says âSup!â
The girl jumps back and falls to the floor, shocked by Adamâs sudden appearance in the room. She introduces herself as Charlie. Adam offers her to shake his hand, only for it to go through.
âHa! I fuckinâ got you! Did you fucking see that? Good shit.â
You let out a slight laugh, as you sit and watch the meeting happen. Well, you say âmeetingâ but nothing about it seemed very professional. Adam for the last hour (you honestly wasnât sure at this point) had been talking about the most random of things.
You or Lute occasionally shakening your head yes or no while listening to him, while Charlie seemed quite tired already. Not that you could blame her, people who werenât used to Adamâs banter definitely werenât cut out for it. But You love every word that comes out of his mouth.
Eventually Adam decides that itâs time to get into what you all came here for. Pulling out a bunch of papers, Charlie begins explaining her solution to hellâs overpopulation. You were only really half listening at first, at least before she mentioned that her solution could stop the extermination which peaked your interest.
She explains her âHazbin Hotelâ and its purpose to rehabilitate sinners, you wanted to hear more of it but Adam cut her off.
The meeting didnât really go that well, At least for Charlie. But the whole thing left quite the impression on you. The idea of ending the extermination was stuck in your head for so long, and now you had someone who had an alternative.
âAdam, are you sure that it couldnât have worked?â
Adam looks at you in surprise âWhat? Do you think that shitshow could have actually worked?â He laughed as he placed a hand on your back. âDonât even pay it any mind, alright Babe?â
âI know, itâs just⌠you know I don't like the extermination. So another way to lessen the population of hell should at least be looked into.â Your voice was soft enough to barely hear.
Adamâs gaze softened but he didnât say another word, only wrapping his wing around you pulling you closer. You lean towards him, snuggling into his soft robe. No matter how much you wanted to ignore it, you couldnât. You needed to do something, anything.
So that night, after Adam fell asleep, you asked to talk with Sera. Leaving a note for Adam saying you went to buy something just in case he woke up.
âWhat is troubling you?â Seraâs voice was clear and concise.
You looked toward the ground, your nerves feeling tighter than ever, as you struggled with how to put your words together. âYou're aware of all that happened in the meeting with Luciferâs Daughter, right?â
Sera nods her head âof course, all meetings are documented about as they happen.â She tilts her head slightly âWhat about it?â
âWell!â You steel yourself before continuing âI would like permission to observe Charlie Morningstarâs âHazbin Hotelââ
Seraâs eyes widen, breaking her calm demeanor before giving a firm âNoâ
âBut-â
âItâs too dangerous for you to be there, Adam wouldnât want that anywaysâ
âHe would listen if it was an order from you!â Your eyes felt watery but you continued âPlease Sera⌠I know you donât want the extermination to continue. Just let me do this!â
Sera looked away from you, her feelings evident on her face, any mask now down. âJust a little moreâ you thought
âSera, I promise you, Iâll be careful! We donât even have to fully support them yet, just let me observe them. It would be devastating if so many souls parish if we failed to seek all options!â You beg
Sera sighed, shakingly ââŚIâll see what I can do.â
Your eyes gleamed up at the tall woman âSera, thank you, thank you!â You wanted to hug her but out of courtesy, you advised against it.
Sera tells you that she canât guarantee anything but she will try as she sends you home to rest.
-
A few days past after that and you havenât heard anything from Sera. It was a little worrying and felt like a bad sign to you. That was, until you were informed by Sera that your request was accepted!
âBut.â Sera stops you before you can celebrate âYou're only there to keep track of the progress and to make sure nothing is happening under our nosesâ You nod your head in understanding
âAlsoâŚâ she pauses âIf anything involving this hotel happens, you will have to take full responsibility, understood?â
You nod again âyes I understand. Have you⌠told Adam yet?â
She shakes her head
âOk⌠can you⌠not tell him it was my idea, please. I donât think heâd agree if he knew.â
Sera sighs before nodding her head âVery well, Iâll tell him after you leaveâ
âThank you.â
-
You return home, when you got back Adam was already gone, Sera must have already called him to the office. You dreaded when he got back. You didnât want to see him upset, it hurt you to know how worried he was for you.
A few hours later, Adam comes through the door in a panic. He stomps up to you and pulls you into a warm and intense embrace.
âDonât go down there. I need you here with meâ his voice hitches as his wings wrap around you both, curling you both into a warm and feathery ball.
âAdamâŚâ you paused, was this really the best thing to do? No, It had to be. If this goes well, not only will the extermination stop but Adam wouldnât have to go down to hell ever again.
âAdam, you know I canât go against Seraâs orders.â You kiss his cheek âand I wonât be gone forever, Iâm only supposed to be there till the next cleanse. Not to mention, Iâll always come back to see you.â
Adam grumbled a little âI know, I just⌠donât like you being in the same place that bastard is, and in his bratâs stupid hotel! â
You laugh softly âAdamâŚâ grabbing his hand, you put yours in it, showing off the gold ring on your finger âIâll never forget my promise. You know that, right?â
Adam looks at the ring, the gold wrapped around your finger with a perfectly snug fit. Everytime he looked at it was just a reminder of your love for him. That promise was something he could never forget. He slowly raises your hand to his LED mask, kissing the back of it. âOf course not.â
âGood. I promise Iâll be fine, ok?â
He nods. Hand in hand, you slowly lead you both to the bed. The both of you lay next to each other, your bodies linked together like knots. You slwoly remove his helmet from his head, laying it on the nightstand.
Your hands move up his body before landing on his face, cupping his cheeks before pulling him to a kiss before snuggling into his chest.
-
Finally it was Time for you to leave. Sera allowed you to create portals back to heaven in case anything happened and you were in need of assistance. Adam walked you to the front gate.
âOk, do you have everything? You didnât forget that fucking angelic dagger I had Lute get for you right-â
You shush him âAdam, I told you Iâll be fine!â
Heâs sighs âDamn it- I know that but just make sure to text me while your there ok-
You kiss him deeply âAdam. I know, youâve told me a hundred times.â You smile as you cup his face âI love youâ
He sighs âLove you too Sweetcheeksâ
With one final kiss, you give Adam a tight hug before waving goodbye as you went through the flaming portal. As you went through, you take a second to look at your surroundings. In front of you was a tall building. You take a few steps back to see LED lights of a sign flashing the words âHazbin Hotelâ
You let out a sigh of relief. You had been a tad bit worried youâd spawn somewhere random and youâd have to find the building yourself. But it seems heaven at least spared you of that.
The red skies of hell were quite different from the pristine blue ones of heaven. Even though you just got here, you could already hear the sounds of screams and explosions in the distance. How welcoming.
You steel yourself and with three hard knocks to the door, you wait for someone to open it. Muffled Scurrying sounds of footsteps approach the door before it creaks open revealing the young blond woman in the doorframe, Charlie Morningstar.
âHi! Iâm-â
The door is slammed shut, Before opening again
âBe not afraid-â
It shuts againâŚ
Well, this may be a bit harder than you initially anticipated. You go to knock again only for it to open once more. This time, the door doesnât close again, instead the girl mutters a quick âHiâ before going quiet.
âHello! I didnât mean to scare you!â You give a small laugh before continuing âI believe we met a couple days ago?â You bring your hand towards her for a shake, to which she reciprocates.
âDuring the meeting with.. Adam? Right?â She grimaced when she mentioned Adam, which you decided to ignore, you simply smiled and nodded. âbut I donât believe I caught your name?â
You tell her about yourself, about how your there to stay and monitor any progress the hotel may have. You made sure to pronounce âmay.â While you were hoping for this idea to show some kind of positive results, even you werenât sure if itâd would work.
âCharlie? whoâs at the door- WhatHolyShit-â a woman with a red X over her eye suddenly shouts in surprise. You look over at her, She looked very familiarâŚ
âWait, you are-â
âVaggie! Charlieâs sinner girlfriend! And you are?!â The woman known as Vaggie, highlighted the word sinner while performing a âbe quietâ gesture with her hand. Your eyes widen a little at the ex-Angel in front of you but you simply smile a nod âIâm Y/n, I donât believe weâve met, yes?â
Look, lying is the last thing youâd want to do as a citizen of heaven but you figured that it would be fine if it was to protect someone. Vaggie nodded, her face scrunched up in a tense look.
âYou feeling ok Vaggie? Youâre looking a little⌠red?â
âIâm fine! *ahem*, Hun, how about you give them a tour of the hotel.â
Charlie gasped âYes that's perfect, you may as well get acquainted with everyone if youâre going to be here more often!â
Charlie ran off, telling you âthis way! This way!â Over and over. Before you went to follow her, you leaned toward Vaggie and said a quick âRelax, I wonât tell anyone.â
She lets out a sigh before muttering âThank youâ
You both follow Charlie as she shows you the various rooms in the hotel before leading you back to the hotelâs lobby and lounge area.
âHey! Hello everyone!â Charlieâs voice picked up a little âIâd like to introduce you to our uh⌠new staff member?â You nod in agreement with the title. The room in front of you was shrouded in looks of both horror and amazement.
âWhat the hellâs an angel doinâ here?â A lanky spider demon spoke up first
âItâsss an ambush! seek Cover!!â The Snake demon shouted, seemingly grabbing an army helmet from thin air before taking a deep dive behind the couch.
âNo Pentious-â She sighs âtheyâre here to monitor the hotel! Heaven sent them to scout any potential progress the hotel will haveâ
âItâs nice to meet you allâ you look at the people in front of you, to say it was a colorful cast would be an understatement.
âThese two are our current tenants of the hotel! Angel dust and Sir Pentious!â
The snake slithered slowly from behind the couch up to you, while the Spider demon remained rested on the couch
âOh⌠*ahem* Excuse me dear! I am Sir. Pentious! Formally known as âthe Architect of destructionâ!â He laughs, a slight hiss sounding in his voice.
He offers a handshake which you accept. To which you immediately regret. â Slimeyâ you thought, before wiping your, now wet hand on your clothes.
The spider demon, who you now know as Angel Dust, just gives a wave with one of his 4 arms.
âAnd-â Charlie extends the word as she quickly walk to a bar by the entrance âthis is the recreational area, run by our Bartender, Husk!â
The winged bartender seemed entirely uninterested in your presence or even Charlieâs. The most you got was a small glance before he takes a swig of his alcohol and walks off.
âHeâs not the most⌠social guy in hellâ she awkwardly laughs before moving on to the next person. âAnd this is Nifty, our one and only maid at the hotel! Nifty say hi.â
The short woman scurried moved around you, her eye quickly looking at every every nook and cranny of you as she moved. She made numerous attempts to touch and grab various things on you, your clothes, wings, and eventually she tried to climb up you to get to your halo. Thatâs when you finally grabbed her in place âyou're a⌠fast one, huh? Nice to meet you!â
âAnd last but not least! This is Alastor, the hotelâs executive producer and our first -and only- overlord sponsor!â
Immediately, you could tell there was something off about Alastor. The entire aura he gave off was as if he was restraining something completely and utterly ungodly. The static that surrounded him was just one of many whispers you could hear from his soul.
âHello! Itâs quite a pleasure to meet someone of your⌠holy status!â He offers a hand to which you, hesitantly, shake. âAnd what do we owe the pleasure for your service?â
âTheyâre going to be here to keep track of the progress of the hotelâŚâ Charlie paused âyou know Iâm starting to sound like a broken record- here, itâs late, how about we all get some sleep and we can talk about it in the morning!â
âFine by me, I am waaay too sober to be having social interaction this lateâ Angel picks himself up and stretches âIâm gonna hit the hayâ
âHere Iâll show you to your room!â Charlie smiles âWe -obviously- didnât have time to make your own so I hope you donât mind using one of the guest roomsâ she laughs
She and Vaggie walks you to your new room before leaving you be, The room was nothing more than just your average hotel room. Of course it did have its differences, a multitude of⌠eyes seem to be on the wall, staring at you. Well, thatâs not the least alarming.
You place your stuff down and begin unpacking, you mostly just brought the basics. Clothes, hygiene stuff, your phone, and, most importantly, a framed photo of Adam.
You sat the photo on your nightstand, angling it just right so that it would always be visible to you. As you do so, you think about the memory the photo brings, you took it on one of the first dates you went on with Adam. It was a relatively tame date, you and Adam, having a picnic by a lake at night. You brought candles so you both werenât completely in the dark, and you just loved the way he looked, his golden eyes watching the water. The dim candle light illuminating his face with a warm golden shade. Adam hates photos of him with his mask off but⌠You just had to keep that moment in time forever.
*Ding* *Ding* *Ding*
Speak of the- well, you know the rest. The bright light from the phone comes with the notification sound displaying Adam in bold letters. You smile as you read his messages.
Dixkmaster69
Heyy Sweetcheeks, itâs been a bit since you left
You there??
Fucking answer
You let out a small laugh at Adamâs barrage of messages. Heâs not used to you being away from him for more than a day, huh? Not that you could blame him, this is honestly nothing compared to how you feel each year he has to do the extermination.
Sweetcheeks
Hey love
Everythingâs fine, Iâm ok.
Aside from not having you with me :â(
Dixkmaster69
Fucking finally
You know you donât have to do this
If I bitch enough to Sera I can get you back by tomorrow
Sweetcheeks
Please donât, Sera already has enough on her plate.
I promise Iâm going to be fine
Iâll be back before you know it.
Dixkmaster69
I know
This shit just worries me
Gonna miss hearing your sexy ass voice at night too ;)
You blush at the message before sighing. Whenever you or Adam approached a topic that made him uncomfortable, he would always try to change the subject to something that made him feel better. You knew why, Adamâs someone who rarely talked about his feelings, even after all these eons together that was something he hadnât changed. You knew exactly what he needed, even if he didnât explicitly tell you.
Sweetcheeks
I already miss yours too <3
Do you want to help me fall asleep with that heavenly voice of yours on the phone?
Dixkmaster69
Whatever you want Sweetcheeks <3
You smile when, almost immediately, Adam begins calling your phone. You click the lights off before You make your way in your new bed, not even bothering to change out of the clothes youâve been wearing. You grab the cover and pull it over you and tapping the answer button.
âSupâ
You yawn âHey handsome, I missed your voiceâ
You hear his voice hitch before he caused on âOf course you did, no one has a better voice than the dick master. But uh, yours is a close secondâ
Youâre let out a tired giggle, âsuch a charmer, you. Howâs your day been huh?â
âOh! donât even get me started on that- Lute took me to get some ribs to âcalm my nervesâ or some shit and they had me, ME, wait in line for like 15 minutes! The fucking audacity!â
You smile to yourself as Adam tells you about his day, the sound of his voice was like a sweet lullaby to your ears and you couldnât get enough of it. But eventuallyâŚ
âAnd then when I got home, I couldnât find my damn charger and it took me like 40 fuckinâ minutes to realize it was under our bed, do you have any idea of how it keeps getting there?â He waits for you to respond only to be met with silence. âUh bitch, Iâm talking to you.â
More silence⌠well no, actually if Adam focused on listening, he could hear the faint sound of your snoring from the phone. Adam sighs,âLong day, huh?â
Adam lays back in your shared bed, getting comfortable. He sets the phone beside him, plugging it in while keeping it on speaker. He yawns, âGoodnight Sweetheart, canât wait to see you againâ
Slowly, the soft sounds of both yours and Adamâs snores filled each others rooms, a distant, but intimate connection. Even in slumber, you couldnât stop thinking of your handsome and caring soulmate.

Morticia and Gomez Effect pt. 2
Mihawk X FemReader
Since people liked this made a part two!
Part 1 <<<
⢠Mihawk mood had been fowl as of late, Clearly issues had been getting to him silently. His wine intake growing and his irritation rising
⢠You needed to fix this, Anger was never the most attractive look for your husband anyway-
⢠He had been home for two days and still hadn't spoke. Instead sitting in his study and doing paperwork while drinking, Sometimes the waft of cigar smoke greeting you as well from the halls.
⢠"Growling at the wall?" You call out seeing him sitting there scowling at the wall with his face turned up like a beast growling.
⢠He glanced at you, Seeing you close the door behind you, as well as noticing your done up appearance- mainly the black dress that fit you like a lustful sin he had bought some time again- already lessening his angry face.
⢠"I am in no mood Wife, leave me" He said with a irritated sigh. He never called you 'Wife' only when truly upset did he say this, Just like how when he was furious he would use your name.
⢠"I see, so you don't wish for your spirits to be lifted?" You said with a smirk starting to crawl across your face. Walking to the other side of his desk to close a curtain.
⢠"No- nor do I wish for whatever parlor trick you have p-pla-" Mihawk couldn't even finish his sentence as you pulled down the front of your dress flashing him your naked chest with a smile.
⢠Just like any man at any age his eyes widened and mind blank at the sight of breast. You quickly pulling the dress back up with a smile.
⢠He frozen, His drink almost falling from his hand if he didn't clumsily catch it and hold it steady.
⢠Mihawk stared at you for a moment like he was trying to formulate a response, his stoic face starting to break as a hearty laugh broke through his lips. His woes easily being wiped away by your trick as he tried to wave it away.
⢠"Dragostea mea (My Darling) you are too much, drawing me from my mood in such a childish way" He mused as he reached his arm out and pulling you into his lap.
⢠You smile at his words and nestle yourself against his strong chest, Your fingers playing with the cross on his chest.
⢠"Well anything for you my Love~" You smile and pepper kisses on his face and lips. He gives a delighted groan and his hand travels to find the zipper of the dress.
⢠"Idle hands my Love" You warn making him grumble for a short while- Mainly cause you both knew what was coming.
⢠His lips falling from its smile as the door bursted open and Perona March in like she owned the place. Recently you had been in charge of training her- Especially since you felt like Mihawk was too soft on her.
⢠Mihawk sighed as he sat up and saw Perona standing there making a face at the two of you.
⢠"So Gross!-" She tried as she stared at you two and invaded the space, You smoothing down your dark gown as you stared at the young woman with a amused face.
⢠"What do you want Perona?" Mihawk said as she stomped into the room, You watching her glare at you and look away flustered.
⢠"I never got a thank you from you for my recent mission!" She yelled as she pointed to you
⢠"Thats because you failed-" You spoke plainly.
⢠"I didn't fail!" She began to rant about the events of loosing to someone who flashed rainbow colors and worse 'disgusting' pastels.
⢠"So you lost to someone in pastels, Didn't get the information needed, didn't listen to the advice I gave you for the last mission. Now you come through here causing a ruckus cause I will not reward you?" You spoke very carefully, watching her stiffen at the lace of irritation through your voice.
⢠She shuffled a bit awkwardly and gave a single nod. You sighing at this-
⢠"Now your failing in the mission is one thing but my darling girl- Being beaten by Pastels?" You mused, she had fallen prey to a pastel nightmare was just too much of a burn. Her face turning as pink as her dress as she fluttered out screaming and throwing a temper tantrum thankfully she slammed the door closed behind her.
⢠Mihawk sighing as he leaned in his chair and pulled you back against him properly.
⢠"Disobedient" You hummed with a tired sigh.
⢠"If we had our own they would be more obedient and skilled" He mused, You feeling him place another kiss to the back of your neck.
⢠Surprised by his words you roll so you are facing him now, seated on him like a saddle. His intense yellowed eyes meeting your gaze before continuing to kiss you this time down your throat.
⢠"You're making it sound like you actually want one?" You said in mused question, a few breathy moans leaving you as he proceeded to bite rather hard down on your soft skin and his fingers digging into the flesh of your hips.
⢠Catching his gaze as he pulls back you could read him like a picture book. He did?
⢠"You actually want a child?" You hummed as your eyebrow raised, Feeling your husband's eyes wonder your form. His arm doing a quick sweep over his desk to push everything to the side and floor, uncaring as he had a goal in mind.
⢠"I am surprised we haven't already given an army due to us taking caution to the wind" He said calmly, setting you on the desk as his hands made easy work of rolling up the dark garment over your thighs.
⢠"Well if it's an army you want-" You purr and pull him closer to you by the cross around his neck feeling him close the distance between you two. "We better make up for lost time~"
⢠He smirked at this as he leaned down to kiss you with wine flavored lips as his hands found the front of your dress and in a fluid motion ripped the fabric down the center.
⢠Lost time indeed

DadBestfriendAu!Miguel x fem!Reader
WARNINGS: MINORS DO NOT INTERACT. SMUT, Breeding kink, Body Marking, Rough sex, mentions of Exhibitionism, fluff, daily situations.
Pt. 3
Ever since your dad knew about you and Miguel, things at home were tense for a while. You always had to meet up Miguel either at his home or he picked you up.
At first, your dad gave you both the silent treatment, but seeing Miguel trying to be a good man for you, chipped away the anger. He never stayed during the nights and always visited you during the 'appropriate' mingling hours.
He always got you flowers at every chance he got, and always respected your boundaries. And then, you met Gabriela. The child was sweet and polite, yet sharp and quite the observer.
At first, your relationship with her consisted in her making questions, such as "You like my dad alot?" "What do you like the most about him?" and a bold one "Dad knows when someone is for the money. But so far you seem cool enough."
Gabriela was smart, perceptive and of course a daddy's little girl. You were worried that things with her wouldn't work out. Something you had told Miguel, once you reached the three month dating milestone.
Despite the stress, one of the biggest achievements in your life approached, your college graduation. Two more months to go and you'd be free from college.
Miguel had taken you to a new, lovely and expensive looking restaurant to have a private celebration, previous to your graduation. Miguel had asked you about Gabriela, and how the kid secretly admitted to him that, ever since you got into his life, he seemed more at ease, more of a cool dad. Happier even.
Some people around you stared as you both kissed. Of course you were aware of the snide comments done around you whenever you were with Miguel. Mostly accusing you for being a gold digger, or being manipulative enough to make Miguel your personal sugar daddy.
But to Miguel, you were none of that. And he made sure to always remind you what you meant for him.
------
With the graduation around the corner, two days actually, your dad finally just accepted the fact you were dating his best friend. Still he was squeamish about you being alone with Miguel while he was gone out of business, but so far he had kept his promise to not knock you up, despite Miguel's discontent.
"So... whatcha gonna do once you've graduated, cupcake?" He ate his dinner as he sat across you. It was just the two of you.
"Well, my career coordinator landed me a spot in Alchemax."
"Oh really? Where?"
"In the Informatics department, as Dr. Bushman's assistant."
"Does Miguel know?"
"Not yet. I wanna surprise him."
"Hm."
Your dad sighed and looked at you, with an unreadable expression on his face.
"You really like Miguel, sweetie?"
"Of course. I mean... He's the best man I could ever had asked for. He knows what he wants, and so do I."
"I'm just a bit concerned on how you'd manage to... be a mother to Gabriela at such young age"
"I know it's gonna be hard, and that she might get some time to get used to it as well, but, I told her that I wanna be someone she can trust, besides Miguel, someone she can come home to and just tell her how much an amazing kid she is, because it's true." You sighed and looked at him.
"I had none of that growing up, because of mom's doings. And if it wasn't for you, sometimes I wonder what kind of person I would've turned out. But... that's why I've decided to break the cycle and be that figure to Gabriela. She's just... so sweet dad. And Imma do my best. For her, and for Miguel."
"Would you marry Miguel?"
The question sending a bright flush on your cheeks.
"W-We haven't spoken about that. I mean, we've been only dating for five months now."
"Still, would you?"
"I would, yeah. He's too much of a good man to just let someone else that wouldn't treat him the way he deserves, get him, ya know?"
"You love him?"
"Yes. And I don't know if it's wrong to feel such intensity in such little time. Just hope he feels that way too."
"Ah, cupcake. Miguel doesn't let anyone into his life so easily. It took me almost two years for him to get to trust me. And look at you. You're already having play dates with his daughter, and doing great with him, he's really attentive and wants the best for you as well. If that ain't love, I don't know what is it."
-------
Graduation was over, the celebration with your dad, Miguel and Gabriela was a success, and soon, you were back with your dad at home. Your dad went to sleep and soon you changed into more comfortable clothes
The doorbell rang half hour later, you went to pick up, and to surprise you saw Miguel.
"Hey, come in." He kissed you in the process and soon, gave you a bouquet of roses.
"Thank you, they're beautiful"
"Congratulations, princesa. Where's your dad?"
"Sleeping. He was exhausted."
"What about you?"
"Hm?"
"Are you tired?"
"A bit. But if you wanna go for a walk, I don't mind. Just let me get my sneakers on."
You went to your room, and grabbed a pair of sneakers. You were lacing them, and the door behind you closed, the lock clicking. Big and strong arms picked you up and made you straddle his hips.
"My dad's sleeping!" You mumbled between gritted teeth
"Even better."
"You're such a perv." You kissed him as his hands removed your shirt and smirked upon finding bare breasts.
"Me? You're not wearing a bra, cariĂąo." his mouth grazing your neck as his hands held you in place.
"Never liked them anyways." Your giggles were replaced by a soft moan as his fangs nipped at your sensitive skin. His fingers hooked in the hem of your shorts and panties to slid them out your legs, leaving you bare before him. The socks and sneakers were the only thing that dressed you up.
In all reality was that despite your dad's initial rejection to your relationship, that didn't stop Miguel to have his fun with you in other places in your home, before cleaning of course.
You had gone from the kitchen, to the porch, the thrill of of your neighbors catching you was borderline maddening.
Miguel had a thing for exhibitionism. And so you had discovered once you were fucking in the attic's window. In his car in the middle of a parking lot? check, your garage? Done. Had to wash the front of your dad's car since your silhouette was engraved on it. Shower? twice already. Stairs? of course.
You wore a dress and that was enough for him to take you in the spot.
"Now that I think about it, your room is the only place where we haven't had fun." He twirled you around and positioned in all your fours on the bed. The smoothness of your skin, displayed before him. Puffed labia waiting for his ministrations.
"Ass up, face down." He commanded as you flattened your chest down on the plush bed, obeying at his words.
His hands took yours as he made them grab your ankles. Spreading your soft flesh for him even further. He groaned at the sight as he licked his lips.
He removed his clothes, and kneeled behind you.
"Where was the last time?" His mouth pressed soft kisses in your inner thighs, and then he moved to your nub of nerves. Your body tensed at the feeling of his wet tongue dribbling up and down your slit.
"T-The living room" you spoke in between tiny, shaky whines, his tongue flickering with speed on your clit, you trembled and bit your lip to drown a shaky moan. The suckling and kissing noises sent chills down your spine.
He hummed and released your flesh with a small pop
"Oh, right. Had your dad sitting where you rode my face..." You groaned as the grip on your ankles faltered, his thumb rubbed in slow motions the already sensitive bundle of nerves.
"Where you rode me" He nearly whimpered as the memory replayed in his mind. He sunk his face once more in between your folds, holding your hips in place, eating his food with such delight it made your toes to curl in.
"Dios, te veĂas tan preciosa montĂĄndome." (You looked so gorgeous riding me)
He growled and slapped your rear, that only jiggled and flushed softly in response.
"Bouncing over and over, tryin'to make me cum inside this tight little pussy..."
Your hips bucked by instinct at his words, Your folds glistened both in arousal and his spit. You were turned around and got your knees bend up to your shoulders, folding you into a mating press position. His wide shoulders flexed as his hands maneuvered yours to hold yourself in place.
"You trying getting knocked up, hmm?"
"Y-Yes" You hissed in between soft pants.
"Oh..." Your heart and pussy throbbed at his expression. Goosebumps making your skin crawl, you could swear from the light that his eyes glinted red, his breath hitched. As if waiting for so long for you to say such words. And now that you had granted him permission, there was nothing holding him back.
God, What had you done?
A flicker of fear crossed your features as he smirked. His fangs in full display for you. He guided his tip and stroked it against your folds to then sink himself in you. He shuddered at the warmth and tightness welcoming him.
"Fuck" he groaned and looked at your face as he entered you, you choked a sob.
"Let's make a mami out of you" His words slurred an octave lower. He groaned and his hips smacked yours.
You gasped and he covered your mouth with a single hand.
"But you gotta be quiet, princesa. We don't wanna wake up your daddy when we're making a baby here." His hips rammed yours and your eyes went shut, inhaling sharply against his mouth. He remained deep buried, unmoving, relishing the heat your cunt provided.
His weight crushed your body, keeping your legs folded as he hovered over your face. His other hand craddled you, and his hips rolled again, earning a shaky whimper from you. He was going slow on purpose, a pace you weren't used to.
You could feel every inch digging inside you, stretching your flesh and poking at your cervix.
"Te vas a ver tan chula" (You're going to look so beautiful)
He breathed as he nibbled the skin of your neck, grazing his fangs, to then bit. you could only groan and sob into his hand.
"Round and swell with my kid growing inside you" His whole body kept you folded, as he slowly fucked its way into you. He refused to give in as you rocked your hips against his, urging him into a faster pace.
He was low and steady, mumbling how well you were taking him, how he couldn't wait to milk your breast once you got pregnant, and how pretty you'd look in his big shirts, belly popping out all while he kept fucking you in a torturous slow pace.
He kept cooing and mumbling things in spanish that you didn't understand, but his cock kissing your womb over and over, grazing sweetly at your spot, made your toes curled in.
"You cumming mi amor?" You nodded weakly as he pressed tighter on your mouth, your breath hitched and your body went taut.
"Esoo" (That's it) He kissed your temple and removed his hand, you gasped for air, panting and heaving as your insides trapped him.
"P... Please" you whimpered and looked at him as he repositioned himself above you. Both his hands held you now in place, giving him more access into you.
"Please what?" he gave a condescending smirk your way as he hoisted his hips upwards, without leaving you completely
"H-Harder" you croaked and he let his whole weight to fall on the firm and deep thrust. Your jaw clenched as he stretched impossibly deeper inside. Tears pooled at the corner of your eyes and he lifted his hips once more, air knocking out of your throat
"Sweet girl wants me to fuck her harder?"
You nodded dumbly, his tip stretching your entrance.
"Please!" you begged with a mewl. Mouth went slack open as he rammed his hips. Your breast bounced in between your hoisted thighs as you shook with every thrust his body mustered. He wasn't holding back. The room was filled with the sounds of his growlings, your mattress creaking under your weight, menacing to cave in the sturdy wooden frame and the constant slapping of flesh.
All you could hear was a
Slap a pause slap slap slap slap
Tears rolled down your cheeks as pleasure screwed up your judgement. Your mouth opened, ready to voice out your pleasure, but a hand on your neck prevented you from doing such nonsense. Fire licked at your skin
Your folds received him with a squelching suck each time he ventured deeper. It felt like you were made specially for him. So ever hot and tight no matter how much his cock stretched you, over and over.
"You're being too noisy, mi amor." He squeezed and you gasped. Air slowly leaving your lungs as he fucked the daylights out of you, just the way you were used to. This time however, you weren't on contraceptives anymore. And that fact alone was dangerously thrilling for him.
You didn't know what made you hotter, the fact you were actually trying in making a baby with Miguel while your dad slept, and he was making everything for you to be loud, or the way he always seemed to ravage you in hopes to get you pregnant.
But dizziness took over and your nails clawed at his squeezing hand as he came first with a deep growl, spurting all his seed deep in you. Hot and flooding your insides. Your muscles spasming only welcomed his cum deeper, your eyes rolled back.
"You'll be such a good mommy for me." He panted and let your neck go, his mouth kissed softly at your marked skin. Red handprint glowed on your flesh as you wheezed and panted for air,
His eyes softened at your blissful blown face, to then pepper you with kisses. You were trying to find your voice as your numb hips finally went back to a natural and laid back position. Legs shaking softly. Breaths coming steady, He stared at you, a warm feeling spreading on your chest.
"I...-"
"Cupcake?" You dad spoke from the other side of the door.
You froze, Miguel chuckled silently
"Uh, yeah?" you rasped, trying for your voice to not sound as hoarse as it was
"I'll go to the store. Want something?"
"Some cherry cola, please."
"Gotcha. Be right back."
His steps faded until you could hear the main door being closed and his car revving. You couldn't help but giggle, he followed and kissed you.
----------
"You ok?" Miguel handed a papercup full with coffee to your dad as he watched you going through some some bridal gowns.
"Yeah... Just... She's getting married."
"Hm."
"To you."
Miguel frowned and your dad smirked with mirth.
"I once asked her if she would, but seeing this turning into a reality is... overwhelming."
The both men watched as you and Gabriela scrunched their noses at a particular dress and then laughed.
"Bad timing then."
"Hm? For what?"
"She's been moody and emotional lately."
"... Shut up..."
"I kept my promise didn't I?"
Your dad only rubbed his face and sipped his coffee.
"Guess you did. Nothing I can do about it I guess."
Miguel's eyes followed you as you took Gabriela's hand and led her to another section of the bridal shop.
Despite your request of being a private and intimate ceremony, Miguel still insisted into wearing a white dress.
"Would it be fucked up to say that I'm glad you're the one marrying my little cupcake?"
"Very. Still.. Glad you understand that I'm serious about it. Does her mom know?"
"Yeah, didn't care. Never did, actually."
"I see."
"As long as you're making her happy, that's all I care about."
"That's a promise."
"Im sure she'll buy waterproof makeup, she's quite the-"
"Crybaby? Yeah. I know. Quite adorable when her nose goes all red."
Your dad chuckled. As messed up the whole thing was, according to some of his most trusted coworkers, he felt a huge weight being lifted out of his shoulders.Â

pierced. pt. 6 | spencer reid.
Spencer needed to stop getting in his own way of what he wanted.
you will find the other parts on my masterlist
cw: kissing, suggestive sentence in there somewhere, mentions of alcohol, angst if you squint, flufffff
a/n: aahhh!!!! (smut in the next part)
âShe looked like you.â
You stopped stroking your hand through Spencerâs hair at his confession. He had been sitting with you on your couch for almost an hour, his head lying comfortably on the couch cushions as he faced you. You glanced up at him, your brows knitted together.
âWho did?â you whispered gently, twirling a piece of his hair between your fingers.
âOne of the victims⌠in the case we worked,â he clarified, almost hesitating with his words like he was embarrassed to admit it.Â
You frowned, âdid it⌠frighten you?â
Spencer shrugged, âI think it made me realise how dangerous my life is. My job is my life and it made me think about all the things that have happened to me and my friends because of this job⌠Someone was killed in the apartment across from you, and Hotch lost his wife, Y/N. It just⌠freaks me out a bit.â
You listened to Spencer talk, running a hand through his hair as he admitted to the things that were bothering him. You understood why Spencer was worried, you would be too if you had a job like Spencerâs. He worked to find some of the most dangerous people in the world, you commended him for that.Â
You took in a breath, âI would be worried too, Spence. And it must bug you even more than you canât guarantee the safety of the people you love and care about.â
âIt does,â Spencer sighed, his hand reaching out to hold yours.
âAre you trying to tell me something, Spencer?â You asked softly, âyou donât want to see me again?-â
âWhat? No!â Spencer quickly said, standing up from the couch quickly. âI mean⌠No, I want to see you again. I want to hold your hand whenever I want and-and go on dates, itâs just-â Spencer let out a soft groan as he rubbed his hands down his face.
âYou want to keep me safe?â you asked, standing up to pull Spencerâs hands away from his face. Spencer looked at you, almost amazed at how you knew what he wanted to say.
âYeah,â he replied, holding your hands gently. âI just wish it was simple.â
You sighed, âI know,â you leaned in to wrap your arms around him in a tight hug, âme too.â
â...I can still see you though, right?â He muttered against your hair.
You chuckled softly, pulling away to cup his face, âof course you can, Spence⌠We can take things slow, keep everything private⌠I just want you to be happy.â
Spencer beamed at your answer, pressing a kiss to your forehead, âI want you to be happy too.â
Your palms were sweaty as you stood outside Rossiâs house clutching a bottle of wine in one hand while Spencer gently held your other hand. You donât know why you were nervous, youâd met everyone before. But to be fair, you were slightly tipsy the last time. You spent the afternoon getting ready, styling your hair and doing your makeup nice for the occasion. Spencer came over to pick you up and yes, you may have got distracted against the kitchen counter for a good 30 minutes, but you were finally here.
âShit, Iâm nervous,â you admitted.Â
âWhat? Why are you nervous?â Spencer asked, lifting his hand to knock at the door before stopping himself to look at you.
âI donât know! I was tipsy the last time I met everyone,â you whisper-shouted the last part, making Spencer chuckle softly.Â
âWell,â he stepped down off the top step, standing in front of you, âyou look really beautiful and you shouldnât feel nervous⌠Garcia has been very excited to hang out with you again and Rossi and Morgan have been bugging me about bringing you along to one of these for a while now.â
You smiled softly, âreally?â
âOh yeah,â Spencer replied, âSo for the foreseeable future, youâre kind of obligated to come.â
âOh really?â You raised a brow. âYou plan on keeping me around for the foreseeable future?â you teased.
âI mean, I kind of like you,â he teased back, âand you have a nice rack-â
âSpencer!â you punched his shoulder as he giggled like a child. âSo vulgar.â
âYou like it,â Spencer grinned, putting a hand around your waist and leaning down to kiss you. You cupped his face gently, letting him pull your body tight against his.
âOi,â Rossi grumbled. You and Spencer shot away from each other. âNo kissing on my porch.â
âSorry, sir,â You squeaked out, quickly scurrying inside as Spencer followed you like a puppy.
You felt her hug before you saw her, Penelope throwing her arms around you in a tight hug. You chuckled and hugged her back, âI havenât seen you in forever! I keep telling Reid to bring you along to stuff but he always says youâre busy,â she frowned.
You knew half of that was true, your job was demanding and you had four huge projects you were working on and you were thinking about going back to school. The other half was that Spencer was nervous to over involve you in things, partly because he didnât want to scare you off and because he wanted to keep your dating life fairly private.Â
âYeah, I have been busy, Iâm sorry,â you winced.
âOh, donât be silly!â Penelope waved you off, âCome on, weâre sitting in here.â Penelope grabbed your hand and started dragging you to the kitchen. Spencer and Rossi followed behind you, Rossi berating Spencer for being late, which Spencer blamed on traffic (liar).
You were met with an outpouring of affectionate greetings as Penelope brought you into the kitchen, which smelled amazing. You placed the bottle of wine down on the counter which JJ and Emily immediately began inspecting.
âHi, everyone,â you greeted shyly, feeling Spencerâs arm wrap around your waist.
âHey, lovers,â Morgan grinned cheekily.Â
âOooh,â Rossi picked up the bottle of wine you bought, âgood taste in reds, I see.â
âI used to be a bartender. I couldnât afford to have bad recommendations,â you shrugged.
âMmm, I like you,â Rossiâs eyes narrowed as he pointed at you. You grinned up at Spencer, letting him plant a soft kiss on your temple.Â
Rossi continued to prepare dinner, blatantly refusing to let anyone help him even though he had about four things, all of which smelled amazing. You sat by Emily, JJ and Penelope, letting them ask you a myriad of questions about you and Spencer.
âHow long have you two been together now?â Emily asked, leaning her chin on her fist on the counter.
âUh, about two months,â you replied, thinking for a moment. âBut weâre not like, together-together. Just dating.â
â...He hasnât asked you to be his girlfriend?â JJ asked.
âNo, not yet. I think he wants to take things slow,â you said with a smile. Emily, JJ and Penelope shared a knowing look with each other. â...What?â
âNothing,â Emily shrugged.
âOh, come on, donât leave me hanging like that,â you pouted.
âHe just talks about you a lot, sweetie,â Penelope grinned, ââY/N told me that alreadyâ, âY/N makes my coffee betterâ, âNo, Iâm meeting with Y/N for lunchâ, âI have plans, Iâm hanging out with Y/Nâ, itâs all the time.â
âIâve never seen him so happy,â JJ smiled, staring at you sideways. You glanced over your shoulder at Spencer, who was already looking at you. He lifted his hand, waving at you from across the room where he stood with Morgan, Hotch and Hotchâs son Jack.
âHe makes me happy too,â you replied with a grin.
âAwww,â Penelope cooed, wrapping her arms around you, âtake care of our boy wonder.â
âDinner is ready,â Rossi sang. âAnd you are right, it smells divine.â
You sat next to Spencer at the dining table, feeling his warm hand rest on your knee under the table. You smiled to yourself, resting your hand over his. You enjoyed your meal with everyone, revelling in the compliments over your choice of wine. You watched as Jack showed Spencer his dinosaur figurines at the table, your heart fluttering at the sight of Spencer playing with Hotchâs son like he was a big kid himself.Â
Once everyone finished dinner, you helped Rossi clean up the table, even after he insisted you sit down and drink some more wine. You ignored his protests and helped him clean up and he made a comment along the lines of, âitâs like arguing with Spencer.â
Spencer ended up helping too, encouraging Rossi to let you and Spencer do the dishes since he cooked all afternoon. Rossi threw his hands up in defeat, sitting back down in his chair and topping off his glass of wine. The two of you stood began cleaning the kitchen and Spencer seemed fussy, like there was something on his mind.
âWhatâs on your mind?â You asked as you rinsed the clean dishes, soap suds clinging to your forearms. Spencer stopped drying one of the wine glasses, turning to give you his full attention.
âHow do you know Iâve got something on my mind?â He asked curiously.Â
âI feel like I can read you pretty well, Spence,â you retorted.
âYouâd be a good profiler,â Spencer said, bumping your shoulder.
âYeah, no thanks,â you chuckled, hanging him another dish to be dried.Â
A comfortable silence hung in the air before he spoke again, â...how would you feel if⌠If I asked you to be my girlfriend?â
You stopped what you were doing to look at him, â...You want me to be your girlfriend?â
â...Yeah, I do,â Spencer muttered softly, âonly if you want to be my girlfriend, of course,â he quickly said.
Your heart was in your throat, trying to suppress the smile that wanted to break out across your face. âYou mean that?â
âYeah⌠I really like you, Y/N. And I know we said we wanted to move slowly but itâs driving me crazy not being able to call you my girlfriend, you know?â He admitted, putting the rag on the counter to grab your hands.
âI really like you too, Spencer.â
âSo⌠will you be my girlfriend?â He asked, eyes narrowing with nervousness.
âIâd love to be your girlfriend, Spencer Reid,â you grinned. Spencer let out a breath of relief, unsure of where to put all the excitement building up in his chest. He had no idea how he landed someone like you. He suddenly planted a kiss on your lips, cupping your face in his warm hands.
âThank you,â he whispered against your lips.
âWhy are you thanking me?â you chuckled.
âFor giving me your number,â he admitted, âI would have been too nervous to ask for it myself.â
âWhat can I say,â you shrugged, âyou were just too cute to let go.â
Spencer smiled and planted another kiss to your lips, a deeper kiss that made your heart flutter and your toes curl. Your fists held his shirt, pulling him closer. He pushed you against the counter gently, his hand gripping the side of your neck to tilt your head back, deepening the kiss.
âOi,â Rossi grumbled, louder than the first time he caught you two, âno kissing in my kitchen.â
a/n: Rossi is me
