Mark's thumb stokes across the back of your palm, and it's like a spell, disabling you from taking a single step away from him. He's got you bewitches, and you don't mind one single bit.

Finally, be breaks the spell, tugging you closer to wrap his arms around your waist. Your own automatically circle around his shoulders, hands settling for the hairs on the back of his neck, playing with the strands, just like how he always asks you to do.

"Call me once you get to your room, okay?" He murmurs with a smile, tilting his head to the side. He's got an adoring look on his face, entranced.

"I promise, Mark." You respond, taking one hand back to hold your pinky up, urging him to do the same.

That's exactly what he does, taking his hand off your waist to wrap his pinky around yours gently. "Good."

With one more sway of your intertwined fingers, you pull away, slowly, as if to remember every little detail. "I better go to my room now then, huh?"

"You do that,"

After what seemed like hours, you peel away from each other, parting. There's no sadness, not a single bittersweet smile, because you know he'll be there for you, always. As you will be for him as well.

"Goodnight, Mark!"

He simply waves as he watches you walk away little by little, each step resonating through his ears, along with his heartbeat.

Mark Lee likes to take his time. He's always preached this. But now, as you walk away, it's like his clock quickens a tenfold, and you have a string to his heart, tugging on it.

Before he knows it, Mark's reaching out, jogging slightly, calling out your name. "Y/n!"

You feel confusion flood over you at the sudden call of your name, turning to reply, but you don't even get to. Mark has his arms around you, leaning into you, as his lips place against yours clumsily.

'Take your time,' you've always told yourself. And yet, you don't even waste a second to reciprocate the kiss, head tilting to the side with a sigh.

'Take your time,' Mark remembers saying over and over again. He's wanted to kiss you for months, he's taken his time, and it feels perfect. He knows its perfect as his lips part to deepen the kiss, he knows there's nothing better as his hand cradles your cheek, the other wrapped around your waist.

You know as well, as your knees grow weak, as your lips smile against one another, as he leans in for yet another kiss as you pull away, chuckling into his skin.

And when you pull away, Mark Lee looks even dreamier than before, if it was even possible. He's got a goofy smile on his lips, the lips that had just kissed yours, his eyes shining with nothing but absolute pure love for you.

"Goodnight," He mumbles.

"Goodnight," You echo back, smiling at him. "a-and, thank you,"

Mark chuckles, shaking his head, as he pulls away from you, stroking your cheek one more time. "Hey, can we make this a thing now? Can I get a goodnight kiss every time I walk you back after a date?"

"Go home, Mark! It's late!" You push him away playfully, shooing him away.

"Fine, fine!" He throws his hands up in a surrender. He has an awfully boyish smile on his lips, eyes twinkling with mischief. "We'll see tomorrow, after I take you home after our date, right?"

it's simple, will is an athlete and rylie is an artist. will's gonna be a professional hockey player in a couple years and rylie is studying to be an artist and/or art teacher

silly rant about wendy and stan :3

but like the rants are seperate

so to whoever wants to read this shit i think wendy doesnt work with anyone else besides stan. if you say "kyle can treat her better!" first of all stfu u kyndy shippers are annoying asf and second of all no he would not. he would clearly get jealous of other guys and he would be really controlling (not in earlier seasons) and lets just be fr for a sec... wendy would either fall out of love or get back with stan again because yknow they always go back to eachother. and plus an arguement between wendy and kyle would be ugly especially if theyre together, they both can get mad asf and the arguement would last ATLEAST a few days. and atleast stan can handle her disagreeing and yelling at him. now lets see who else shes paired with. i wanna talk abt wendy and token. first of all i dont believe wendy ever loved token because we never see theyre relationship outside of raisins. what i believe is that wendy only dated token to try and get stans attention because he did neglect the relationship and maybe she was attention-hungry. and now the final one i wanna talk to about is cartman. i hate wendy x cartman (more than i hate kyndy) because we know it would never work. she even said that she lost all feelings towards cartman after chef goes nanners. and even if you argue and say that they had good chemestry in that episode let me remind you that she ran back to stan at the end of the episode. she clearly hates cartman and clearly would rather killherself than date cartman. i dont think cartman deserves to be with anyone (except maybe yentl) because he's pretty much unlovable.

now onto stan, i dont think he works with anyone but wendy. lets take a look at style. first of all kyle has left stan several times before. he left him for token and he also never helped him with his depression in your getting old. but guess who was there to cheer him up? wendy was. wendy was one of the only people that didnt get sick of him in that episode and it really shows how much she cares for stan. and in you have 0 friends even though wendy was kinda being... weird, stan did listen to her and tried to edit his settings on his facebook.

also i wanna bring up... best friends doesnt = dating.

also i wanna talk abt stendy as a relationship. i think that they might be able to work as friends but as partners is when theyre dynamic works best. girlboss and loser bf. in all honesty stan and wendy might have the best dynamic/healthiest relationship out of everyone. theyve been shown to care about eachother lots of times and in the older seasons was when they really had their cutest moments. modern stendy isnt bad either, wendy is able to forgive stan at the end of the chat gpt episode because she loves him. and stan really cares for wendy too. he went with wendy to see shitty movies just to spend time with her and he also wrote a song for her. stendy is my absolute favorite ship and i hate when ppl make them cheat on eachother. stan would never and wendy wouldnt either. and one thing i noticed is that stan is loyal to wendy, sure he may have had a few crushes on other girls but, he never actually tried to make a move on any of them (except ms ellen) but through out all their break ups, stan never dating anyone besides wendy, which shows he really does love her enough to the point where he would hit on anyone while she was gone

theres 3 main people i wanted to pair stan with. heidi, bebe, and red. first i want to talk abt is red and stan. i feel like they would be more friends than lovers. we dont really see much of reds personality but we do know that she acts like the other girls. stan doesnt really interact with girls that much so we dont really see a certain dynamic between them. another girl i want to talk abt is bebe. bebe is an interstening character, she can be nice, outgoing and funny but she can switch up to be sassy and rude. stan and bebe are like the listeners/jocks of their groups. they both have their hobbys that go on the field (stan plays football and bebe is a cheerleader). i feel like stan and bebe would be besties shit talking everybody. and lastly i want to move onto heidi. i feel like they could work as an alternate incase stan and wendy have a permenant break up (lets be honest thats never happening). i feel like heidi likes/ is fond of stan. she went up to him for advice abt cartman and he's probably the one that knows cartman the least. and in the bracelets episode he asked her for glue which i find funny. and i feel like their love of animals would help them bond.

Kaveh has been through too many rough and traumatic relationships. They may not have been romantic, but they have left him deeply scarred and have broken his confidence in himself and his trust in others. So getting Kaveh to actually fall in love with you was something that took time, anywhere from months to even years before he could ever accept how you feel about him and how he feels about you.

Kaveh had to build up a lot of confidence to confess to you. He spent a lot of those months pining for you trying to fix himself, become smarter, stronger, successful, wiser, just anything that he felt he was lacking. He wanted to impress you so, so badly that Kaveh overdid things a lot. You’ve probably spent a fair share or time in his room caring for him since, other than Tighnari, he wouldn’t let anyone actually take care of him when he got sick from overworking. You’ve also done your fair share of dragging this man back to his and Alhaitham’s house on the evenings where he drank himself silly.

To be honest with you, he’s confessed to you a lot, but he never remembers. Every time he was delirious with a fever and every time you’ve had to help him back home he’s confessed to you. Not just about his love either, he’s confessed his feelings about himself too and why he can’t just say he likes you when he’s sober. He always ends up saying something self deprecating like “if only I was a better person, maybe you’d like me.” He really has no clue that you like or love him. And even when he realizes you do have feelings he spends a long time denying it and ignoring all of the hints and the tension

It takes having Alhaitham, Tighnari, and Cyno set up an intervention for him to finally get the guts to confess to you. He’ll feel really bad about making you wait this long, and he’ll feel really embarrassed because Alhaitham probably snapped after hearing Kaveh say “I can’t confess ;-;” and told him the exact number of times he’s heard him confess to you while he was out of it

The confession is not planned, he literally ran out of the intervention to find you and banged on your door like he was a guard until you opened it. Just blurts out his confession. It’s nothing grand, Kaveh’s way to flustered to think rn and even if he planned it he’d just get anxious over doing it 100% right. Cries when you say yes. Literally shaking and sobbing because he’s so happy you said yes after all he’s done. Kaveh apologizes like crazy that day. He feels incredibly guilty about ignoring your feelings and denying how you felt all this time

Dating Kaveh is very fun and easy. He is always trying to do his best for you and make this relationship the best for the both of you. I can see him cutting back from drinking as much and really doubling down on his work so he can make more mora. Of course, he doesn’t overdo it at work because he doesn’t want to make you worry about him anymore (´；ω；`) he still feels kinda guilty at how much you had to take care of him in the past

Definitely is the type to not let his guard down immediately around you. I’m not talking about saying I love you’s or participating in skinship, I’m talking about letting you see him at his ugliest times. This man would legit fall asleep with make-up and perfectly done hair around you and even wake up early just to fix it before you can see him with some slight bed head. He just gets kinda stuck on wanting to be perfect for you so you don’t leave him, please take the time to reassure him and have patience because I assure you messy bed head Kaveh is top tier

Kaveh is very comfortable giving verbal affirmations and affections to you. He does not shy away from saying he loves you 24/7 and complimenting you every minute he sees you. However, Kaveh gets really shy when you try to touch him. He’s touch starved and touch shy after going so long without physical affection, so even just trying to hold his hand makes him bright red. If you want him to stop arguing with Alhaitham or distract him from an annoying customer he’s ranting about just hug him and he’ll stop talking. Use this power at your own risk though because it makes him shut down for a good 15 minutes sometimes so you might have to start dragging him home or back to his work

He makes you all sorts of little gadgets and even made you a mini house just because he could. Is polite about it, but if you paint it weird colors he’s silently judging you. And maybe giving you small hints here and there about what you could paint it, please don’t be mad he’s an aesthetician and it really bothers him

Funnily enough I think he can and will kill the bugs if you don’t like them. I don’t think he particularly likes bugs, but he can kill them without throwing a huge fit about it. He won’t even make you clean it up either, truly a kind man

Kaveh just about fainted the first time you ever kissed him. He truthfully wasn’t expecting it and he wasn’t planning to kiss you for a while either. He turned bright red and flushed all the way down his neck and on the tips of his ears, he couldn’t even stutter out a proper sentence after that either. Don’t think he didn’t absolutely adore the kiss, he’s just so shy to skinship and romantic gestures that sometimes even simple things make him have an error

Loves simple dates with you. Walks around the Akademiya, cafe dates, and cooking meals together are some of his favorites. Speaking of cooking, Kaveh loves to cook for you and especially loves to bring you lunch when he can. He really likes seeing how much you love it and also be really likes being praised for working hard for you

If you were an architect or loved architecture Kaveh would nonstop ask for your opinions regarding his current and future projects. He would hang on to all of your critiques and praise and try to improve his skills.

Okay, so, the only problem with this one is that I've literally seen too many to count. But the one that I'd often seen and had the most visceral reaction to were definitely the longer, well articulated analysis posts from stans that did SO MUCH bending and twisting to claim Adora being equally toxic/(and or abusive) to Catra. Which, obviously, I also spent time analyzing. Trying my best to understand what was going on. And you know what? I get it. I don't agree. But I get it. Adora and Catra grew up under the same circumstances, so yeah, they wouldn't be entirely innocent of picking up bad habits from their childhood. Realistically. Fine.

But implying that Adora is worse? Worse than Catra?

Anyway, I've suffered from my own self-inflicted torture in the past. I wish I hadn't spent so much time reading stan analysis the way I did, but... Here we are.

Guys. I LOVE SWIFT WIND. I FUCKING LOVE SWIFT WIND I DON'T CARE THAT HE'S ANNOYING THEY'RE ALL FUCKING ANNOYING!!!

First of all, yes, yes, yes, Swift Wind is horrendous wasted potential (surprise, surprise), and yes, of course, I'm still pissed over it. Those scenes where he's so loyal and kind to Adora, and she, having no other point of reference for a friend, much less a resourceful friend... Like, awwhh. Plus, he makes it very clear that he has his own will and isn't just mindlessly following Adora around like a god-honest horse would. He has his own agenda. He doesn't have to go into battle with Adora, and doesn't gain too much from risking his life to help her and her friends in the short term, but Swift Wind does it anyway. He's interested and invested in Adora, personally, anyway. He wants to be there for her and support her growth as a person.

And Adora deserves all of those amazing, raw, sappy, fairytale friendships!

22) Favorite part of canon that everyone else ignores?

In my experience, this is the type of fandom that cultivates, um, extreme niches, for lack of a better term. As in, literally what my blog is compared to a "stan's" blog. They're like. Different SPOP fans everywhere, so I don't truly believe that there's a portion of this show that is genuinely ignored... There's someone out there that liked even the tiniest, unimportant fraction of this show. Just got to go find them. (Hell, I know people that love, like, Tall Star specifically, out of all the other characters. Nothing has gone totally unnoticed, which is something I really love about the fanbase as a whole, despite everything).

Anyway, to keep it short, my favorite "underappreciated" parts are hm... Maybe the parts where Adora gets to explore the world around her? And not in a super plot related way. I know that the BFS goofing off so much isn't totally ignored. But I like to see that Adora especially was still learning new things everyday in canon, just like, randomly. Some days are good, really, really good. Some days Nico actually feels like he’ll be able to have a normal, happy life. Other days he feels like there’s no point in climbing out of bed; it takes too much and oesn’t give enough back. It’s like having an anvil dropped on his head, it comes so suddenly. It’s not that he doesn't want to get up and have a normal day, it’s that doing anything is too much. There’s people outside of his cabin. People with expectations that can be let down. He doesn’t want to let them down, so it’s easier–and better–if he stays where he is. Everyone’s happier that way

On the other hand, if he does nothing they’ll get worried. He doesn’t want them to worry about him. So he has to at least try to get up, but it takes so much effort, and he’s so tired, and he wants to go back to sleep but he’s needed. Plus there’s the possibility of nightmares…

So there he lays, in his bed, staring up at his ceiling in the barely lit cabin. His Cocoa Puffs curled themselves around him, occasionally making concerned trilling noises while blinking at him with their big round eyes. One chose to curl itself on his stomach, he reached down to pat their little heads to assure them that he’s okay, even though he knows that’s far from the truth and he knows it.

There’s a knock at his door. It jolts him out of his thoughts, he turns his head to look at it. “Nico?” Will. Guilt floods through his body, he should have at least told Will that he isn’t feeling great. He would understand and he sounds so worried. A few of the Cocoa Puffs spring off the bed, and climb on top of each other, assembling a tower to twist the doorknob and let Will in. Nico’s not sure where they learned to do this but he’s admittedly impressed. They trill excitedly, happy to see Will, who smiles down at them. “Thanks guys.” They scurry back to Nico, looking back at Will as if to lead him to Nico.

“Hey,” Nico’s voice comes out quieter than he anticipated. WIll shuts the door and walks over to him, kneeling in front of him. “I’m sorry.” He whispers. Will seems concerned, almost upset.

“For what sweetheart?” Will’s voice is kind, gentle. “What’s wrong? Are you okay?” Nico sighs, rubbing his eyes.

“I guess,” he pauses. “It just feels like too much.”

“What does?” Will asks, moving to sit with Nico, gently picking his head up to rest on his lap. His fingers push strands of hair off Nico’s face. The simple action soothes him, he opens his eyes to look at Will. He’s so pretty, it seems like all the light that was in the cabin gravitated to him, surrounding him in a halo. “Talk to me angel, tell me what’s wrong.” The nickname puts a glowing warmth in his chest, spreading over his skin like a blanket Will threw over him.

“It feels like there’s so much pressure to get up and pretend like everything’s perfect, like I’m perfectly fine.” Will listens, stroking his hair. “I feel like I’m gonna do something wrong and become a massive disappointment and let everyone down.” Nicos words twist a knife into Will’s chest. He looks down at his face, his eyes are unfocused looking through everything, lost in his own head. “If I let everyone down they won’t want me around anymore,” his voice trails off. “You won’t love me anymore.” Will feels like he’s going to cry; wishing he could pull the stabbing thoughts from his lover’s head.

“I get it,” he whispers. Nico’s eyes come back, snapping to him. He frowns like what Will said troubled him. “You’re doing amazing though. It’s okay if you have days or weeks where you don’t feel like doing anything, but you’re trying. You telling me is already enough.” Nico smiles at him with watery eyes. “You couldn’t let me or anyone else here down, you’re always striving to do more when you’ve already been through so much.” A few tears fall from Nico’s eyes, Will’s thumb brushes them away. “I love you so much and I’ll always be proud of you.”

“Thank you.” his voice is airy; there are butterflies doing excited circles in his chest. “I love you.” Will leans down and kisses him, muttering another “I love you” against his lips.

“Do you need anything? Have you eaten?” He inquires.

“Can you stay with me for the rest of the day?” Nico reaches up, curling his fingers around Will’s wrist.

“Of course,” Will intertwines their fingers. “Let me go tell Kayla and Austin they have infirmary duty and get you something to eat.” Nico nods, picking his head up. Will kisses him one more time before exiting while Nico gazes after him wondering how he got the gift of a boyfriend so wonderful.

this is not because he’s my bias haha …

no because he’s just so boyfriend material

anyway so he’s literally so IDOCMWOKC

when you guys walk down the hallways — whether it be to your lockers, cafeteria or classroom — he’ll always have an arm around you to let you know that he’s there and no one can hurt you

it’s also a way to assure him that you’re here, you’re safe, and you’re his

acts as the very protective and dominant one in the relationship when outside but actually wants you to be it

will always ask for a bite of your food when you’re eating in the café (or a sip of your drink)

obviously you don’t care sharing

and when you can’t finish your meal all by yourself, he’ll voluntarily eat your leftovers

will make sure you get sufficient rest when exam week is coming/during exam week

in other words, he’ll force you to cuddle and you end up falling asleep in his arms

you don’t regret it though

his cuddles are <3

he’ll always notice when you’re going to break down when doing homework

will always ask you if you want him to explain the question or take a break first

you’ll usually want to take a break first

but when you’re not that close from breaking down, you’ll get him to explain the question

and now … when you stain your pants/skirt/whatever you’re wearing (due to period)

essentially the only reason why he always has a jacket in his bag or locker

but when he doesn’t have his jacket for some reason, he’ll block the stain by walking behind you whenever you have to walk somewhere

of course he’ll try to get you new bottoms as soon as possible

and when you’re having cramps, he knows exactly what you need:

a hug under the thousands of covers you two have <3

plus a hot water bag

that’s why you quite literally have never experienced those kinds of cramps that make you feel like you’re dying

because seungkwan is all you need on a terrible day of period cramps

now, when you’re in class, he doesn’t display too much affection because he knows you don’t like it very much

he does hug you, hold your hand and kiss you, but your kisses are usually short and sweet — nothing too much

Phayu looks unconvinced as well lmao - do you see this eyebrow raise?

Slightly controversial opinion, but I actually love that I occasionally hear fabric rustling and other mic interference. It adds a messy and fun element to the scenes that make them feel more real to me. Here, we heard what is probably Phayu's shirt slide against the mic as he leans into Rain.

The first time I watched this, I had to pause and raise my eyebrows ngl. Supremely unprepared for this relatively simple sequence and in the end highkey felt like I got slapped in the face (but in a funny way).

I've never heard of this seduction technique before. Phayu, you might be the only one this works on (I feel seduced but not in a sexy way, more like if I was a cat I'd make biscuits on Rain's tummy)

I don't have a whole lot of commentary on this part aside from they're both adorable and I love the way Phayu likes to drag Rain physically closer to him whenever they talk. I think physical touch is really important to Phayu and I love how Rain basically preens under the attention every time Phayu touches him

I have literally seen this 12 times. Every time I'm like OMFG THEY ARE ABOUT TO KISSSSSSSS

But NO, freaking P' Saifah couldn't wait outside for one more minute. At least he has the decency to give them a countdown do-over. Phayu looks like he considering the merits of ending his twin while Rain is just distressed. I love how they framed these shots of P' Saifah with his body physically dividing the screen between Phayu and Rain's faces which are blurry in the background. This drama uses physical blocking very creatively in my opinion.

P' Saifah I'm going to reach through the nth dimension just to SHAKE YOU I mean seriously how could you not see Phayu and Rain were having a MOMENT

But it does lead to this stellar headpat so I'm not too mad (the 7th one in the series, if I'm not mistaken), plus Rain's praise kink gets activated (seriously, just watch him reminisce about the headpat that just happened)

AHHHH Rain looks SO HAPPY to see that Phayu wrote him a lil note and helped him out - I mean it's no wonder Phayu would bend over backwards just to put that expression on Rain's face from here on out

Including this shot to praise the lighting directors bc it's beautiful, as is our hard at work Rain

I think it could have been really cool if they had Rain use his lucky triangle ruler thing (that Phayu gave him) here, bc that would have been an extra layer of symbolism. I think if they were going to include it as a serendipitous plot point, it would have been better to introduce it this way rather than stick it in a glass case.

Yay, P' Saifah is here to guide Rain to Phayu!! The in-laws are getting a lot of interaction these days hehe. Also look at how eager Rain looks here - full on puppy mode (I met a cockapoo puppy named Molly today so I know my comparison is accurate)

I like that P' Saifah is talking Phayu up to Rain - not that Rain needs any more convincing that Phayu is the coolest mechanic ever. It's the thought that counts though.

For some reason, this shot of Rain and this shot of Phayu make me laugh. Rain's just standing there like some guy when we all know he's thee guy and Phayu is making the "this is so sus" face

The interaction between the three of them right after is so funnyyy - my favorite part is P' Saifah calling his big bro out - this is prime younger sibling behavior. Also Phayu pretending to be a grump - he's just kiss deprived is all (that problem is about to be solved tho)

I also like how I though Rain was going to be the possessive one but Phayu is out here with raised hackles even though P' Saifah is just being friendly to press his buttons (again, prime little sibling behavior). Please observe how pleased Rain looks about this though!

Ok I like that they included this shot of PhayuRain for no discernable reason (bc it cuts to them walking over to the other part of the garage right after it) other than to show us Phayu looking at Rain fondly with his eyebrows raised

I also love how Rain immediately reports that his work is done (likely so he could get praised) but then Phayu counters with "did you sleep?" to which the answer is no. Rain's like "ahhh we can't win with this one uff" (don't worry bff, your reward is en route)

On to part 4!! I'm hoping it's the last one or none of you are gonna want to read it (this is a lie, there are 5 parts bc I have no self control when it comes to taking screenshots of PhayuRain)

Idk if I've already said this before, but H/L is like- if you look at just the surface-level concept of it, it seems fine and like it could possibly be good rep.

Interracial bi x pan couple with a plus size girl, where she's powerful and her bf is magicless, and he's genuinely amazed by her power and doesn't feel emasculated by it? That sounds cute.

But the second you actually zoom in and look at their *canon* personalities and dynamic, it doesn't work.

There's no chemistry between them, and their dynamic hadn't gotten any development since the episode where they met (half a season ago) until FtF decided to be bad fanfiction made canon and pretended like their relationship is developed enough to justify giving nods to the ship (which led to a lot of fans considering it canon), despite it getting no focus at all until then.

Plus neither of their orientations are actually shown in the writing the way Luz and Eda's are, defeating that representation point. With Hunter there's at least that one blink-and-you'll-miss-it flag (which is not good rep, sorry, at least have him wear it for a good chunk of the episode like Luz did), but with Willow there's literally nothing indicating orientation.

And the ship took away screen time from more important things that could've been focused on, like showing more of Hunter's dynamic with Luz and Camila, or having Amity be the one to reassure Willow during her breakdown, since she started the "half a witch" nickname, and it would've been much more fitting and meaningful for *her* to be the one to end it. Or it could've been Gus! He's been Willow's friend for years, much longer than the others, and I just don't buy that Hunter developed a more deep and meaningful relationship with her over a couple months than Gus had over years. (Or it could've been both Amity *and* Gus)

Plus there's everything you've talked about with how the foundation of this relationship isn't healthy, particularly in the common interpretation of it as something that happened during seasons 2 & 3 and not during the timeskip.

[I mention the surface-level ideas (interracial bi x pan ship with a plus size girl, magicless x powerful, etc) in part because I realized I have a pair in my original stuff that fits the surface-level descriptors, but their personalities are different, and I'm aiming to have them actually have chemistry. It works better at least in part because it's *my* idea and not something other people shoved into my world that I had no intention of writing. The pair is even technically "straight passing", though the girl is a transfem enby (they/she). They're also both in their late 20s/early 30s, so they're not teens]

It really does sound great barebones until you realize Willow has barely spoken to Hunter more than a few times, Hunter has been out of character flustered around her for no reason in really weird and out of place scenes, and Willow hasn’t showed any interest in a relationship with anyone the entire season, always making a point to focus on her own self-growth rather than looking for outside affirmation. For hunt//low to be even worthy of being considered a well-written and developed ship, the characters’ relationship to each other would have had to been actually developed lmao. There’s no background to the entire plot of FtF between the two of them other than being sort of friends for the last few episodes. They barely know each other, and with how badly Hunter is still shown to have PTSD and trauma from his very recent past it makes it very OOC for any of FtF to happen the way it did.

And unfortunately, you’re right about the lack of representation from them. Okay, you can say as much as you want that Hunter is bi rep and Willow is pan rep, but unless it’s actually shown in the show it doesn’t mean fuck all. Okay, Hunter has a patch. That’s it. Willow doesn’t even show interest in a romantic relationship the entire length of the series, so I’d even be more inclined to call that an implication of her being aroace if I really wanted to be a stickler about it. Our two canon relationships, lumity and raeda, have both Luz showing interest in guy and girls as well as Eda showing interest in guys while having been in a relationship with a nonbinary person in the past (and currently, now). That’s what representation is- it being shown in the actual piece of media rather than tacked on as trivia after the fact. Plus, Dana literally said that everything she said after the show ended was her headcanon and should only be taken as headcanon and not canon as the media technically doesn’t even belong to her anymore 🙃 She said that unless it is explicitly stated in the show, it is not actually canon, and unless I’m losing my mind hunt//low was never canonized in the show before, during, or even after the series :-) If you want to believe their orientations are canon, then fine. But that imo shows poorly on TOH for not actually showing them as representation and barely sneaking in one patch for Hunter in a half a second scene.

And the fact that their bullshit scenes in FtF take up time where we could’ve gotten more plot related content will never stop pissing me off. I hadn’t thought about the concept of Amity helping Willow, but now that you’ve brought it up I actually think that would’ve made the conclusions to Willow’s arc far more satisfying and meaningful. Amity and Willow rebuilding their friendship has always had way more of an impact on the story than Hunter and Willow’s “friendship” “developing”. In fact, I’d consider it a MAJOR point in her arc, something that colors her character’s place in the story and what helps her to overcome part of her struggles even. There was no reason to waste that space on Hunter, and would’ve got rid of the dumb, uncomfortably written Boscha mess with Amity. And in doing that, they could’ve used that time to wrap up Hunter’s arc in any sense, rather than tabling his entire storyline to be Willow’s savior. They should’ve scrapped any Hunter and Willow storyline out of the third season all together, being as they clearly didn’t have the proper time to develop it in any way other than coming off as bad fanfiction written by a 12 year old.

The concept for the relationship really is a good and interesting one, but the story of TOH clearly wasn’t built for that to work and any nods to it came off as a toddler trying to shove a square block into a round hole. Your original work already sounds far more developed and well rounded just from a few sentences in comparison to an entire ask-long essay about hunt//low’s actual scenes/interactions in the show. And the worst part is, they’d have to tweak Willow’s entire personality to get it to work.

thisll be a mix of their relationship + past relationships

Freemind's will mention Eddie, bc of this i will say my Eddie =/= Eddie's mind Eddie, idk shit abt that one, my Eddie is based entirely off of the stories Fm told in his canon story. (just so ppl dont get confused or something)

Barmey's relationships;

He tends to date people he met online in mmo's, most of the time he doesn't actually have a thing for them tho bc he didnt know he was gay for far too long

he's still friends with his old GF from high school, they broke up in college bc he felt like they were better friends, she was an exchange student and was the most popular girl in school. If he told you this you would probably not believe him.

Thought relationships were supposed to be awkward for the entire relationship

Never realizes anyone is flirting with him, if he does notice anything he thinks they're joking

had less relationships in elementary -> high school (until he met his gf) bc he was one of the only trans guys in the entire shitty Arizona town no one wanted to date him. and if they did he wouldn't have even noticed tbh

The only time he started REALLY questioning his sexuality was when he met Freemind in college but just assumed that he just thought he was really cool

Now that they're dating he finally realizes why people want to kiss and stuff. he thought ppl just over hyped relationship stuff

you might be surprised but he's the top in this relationship

Will literally jump to tell anyone everything abt his boyfriend even if it's what everyone sees as 100 red flag stories in a row

Very easy to make jealous but he tries to not be weird about it most of the time

once as a romantic gesture he made an entire rube goldberg machine throughout their entire apartment that ended with a box of banana laffy taffy dropping onto Freemind's bed. literally Freemind will bring this up to everyone

desperately tries to win prizes for his bf at fairs or amusement parks but always fails. he fucking sucks at them bc he gets nervous. If absolutely no one is looking at him he would get a perfect score

he is a little bit better at showing his affection than Freemind is

He's not had many bad relationships or anything, mostly bc he doesn't often go on dates with people. (dating regularly bothered him bc to cut time out of his schedule)

When he has tried dating Often people think he's kind of cringy or annoying bc of his very specific interests so they never clicked.

Freemind's Relationships;

Freemind has not so good luck with people, his past relationships never lasted that long for one reason or another.

He tends to be very bad at figuring out when people are into him or completely hate him. He often reads it completely wrong (Someone who doesn't like him = they want him, someone who obviously wants him = wants to kill him)

Similar to Barmey he didn't have much dating luck as a young guy bc he was trans + an actual lunatic. Plus he looked like a nerd for most of his years until he started his punk phase when he was 15. His town wasn't as small as Barmey's so they didnt know anyone (he lives in a town CLOSE but not IN Seattle in most of my headcanons. I have no reason why this is different. sometimes he does live there tho depends on the day for me)

Despite talking a big game he has a lot of trouble flirting with girls first bc they scare him, bc of this he tends to only get flirty when they flirt with him first bc he's too intimidated to actually do anything

he has gotten pepper sprayed before, not for anything serious he just has absolutely 0 luck. Once it was because his ex gf was mad that he made a pipe bomb in her garage and once it's bc some stranger mistook him for someone else when he went to talk to her. He was also tazed once but that was bc he lost a bet with his gf at the time

He dated ONE normal person exactly one time and it was the weirdest relationship he'd ever been in. He would literally rather date someone who slashes his tires bc he forgot their birthday over someone who's favorite hobby is going on hikes. Never again

Tends to prefer flings over actual relationships

made out with like 50 different dudes in college and still didn't realize he was bisexual until he was living in New Mexico (this depends on the au i'm thinking of bc sometimes he been knew and sometimes he doesn't) He thought this was just normal college shenanigans

He also gets jealous like Barmey does. They are mutually jealous ppl when it comes to eachother.

Eddie is his drug deal and best friend from high school, depending on universe he slept with him or fooled around w/ him at least once. But they have no romantic feelings for each other, just mutual attraction.

Freemind tends to date girls who want to burn down peoples houses and crash cars. Sometimes this is fine sometimes it isn't. He prefers punks + goth/emo + weird girls, he prefers fatter girls who are tall but any height and body type he can find attractive.

As for men, he prefers guys who are dumb as a bag of rocks and infuriating OR absolutely batshit crazy or both. He tends to prefer Fatter tall men. but any height and body type he can find attractive.

Was that guy who refused to say "I love you" in like every single relationship he was ever in, his relationships were often mutually unhealthy.

However there was the rare moment where he would become absolutely infatuated with someone bc they were perceived 'better' by his mental illness. If they broke up he would either immediately hate them or spiral into thinking he's the worst person alive. This happened once while he was dating a girl who cheated on him, after their breakup he spiraled.

Now that he's dating Barmey he has to learn how to love and be affectionate like a most people. The best way for him to do this is to randomly gift Barmey things that he knows he likes. (like a "Look i thought about and remember the thing you like.")

He does a lot of cooking specifically for Barmey bc although he doesn't like cooking that much he's good at it and it's better than the garbage Barmey eats nearly daily . This is another sign of affection bc usually he wouldn't care.

^ in the same vein, another form/proof of love is that Barmey can be in the kitchen while he cooks, which is crazy bc usually Freemind absolutely despises when people are in the kitchen with him when he cooks bc it overwhelms him. But not Barmey :)

Is not normal about asking for cuddle time he will enter the room and just stare at Barmey until he notices him or sit very very close to him until Barmey initiates like a damn cat. Luckily Barmey usually does.

He WILL however initiate holding his hands constantly. it's one of his favorite forms of affection when they're outside together. He also likes putting his arm around him while walking.

Freemind parades Barmey around like Barmey is his trophy husband. He would actually attack you if you said anything rude to Barmey right in front of him.
