I realize now that i was simply a Polly Pocket, where she was your Barbie.

She was there from the beginning, and ever so popular. I was released into your life much later, and you temporarily loved us both.

Eventually though, I fell out of your gaze, despite my attempts to appeal to you.

I became nothing more than a passing fad, a victim of the times changing. As I knew you would from the start, you went crawling back to her. 

Even now, you may remember me fondly in your memories with a wave of nostalgia; but I will never compare to her timelessness.

February 2023 Reading Recap

The shortest month of the year has come and gone in the flash of an eye. Somehow it also turned into a really good reading month for me though, so I cannot complain!  This month, I ended up reading 7 books, which was more than I expected, so go me!  We also FINALLY got a resolution to the HarperCollins Strike this month, so I have a lot of fantastic HC books I’ve read over the last three months…
