One thing I wish we got in the it movies was what happened in between the 27 years.. I would have loved to see different shots of there lives, plus then they could have used the child actors more (without the horrible cgi). I would have loved to see:

Stanley meeting Patty and them getting married right out of college. His PTSD from Pennywise/deadlights. (He remembered the fear/ It right away. he had to have remembered some things over the years)

Bill writing his first book and the struggles that come with that. Him meeting and marring Audra. (I actually liked what they showed for Bill but I want more)

Richie and Beverly’s rise to fame.

Richie’s struggles with his sexuality and the trails of being famous. His struggles with depression, drugs and alcohol. His relationship with Steve and Sandy!!!

Beverly living with her aunt and her struggles with men. Plus her nightmares from the dead lights. HER FRIENDSHIP WITH KAY!!!!!!

Eddie living with his mom, going back to listening to her, plus him meeting Myra. Eddie wanted more from life but being stuck because he’s scared.

Ben’s weight loss (or just becoming more comfortable in his skin)his struggles with alcohol and fame from being a successful architect. (I don’t like how they introduced him in the newer film. Don’t get me wrong I love sweet, nice Ben but it just felt like they remembered last minute to film him)

Mike struggling with the memories of what happened to them and having to stay behind. Him going to school to become a librarian after his grandfather dies and can’t run the farm anymore.

Like I feel like we missed out on their lives a little. (I loved it chapter two I just wanted more)

I miss that little period of time in the fandom where people were bringing back Kay McCall from the book because she is just a prime Bev girlfriend. I understand why she's been cut from every adaptation, but I loved her so much. I miss her.

It is time to reveal my darkest secret. I have never read the It book. I've listened to parts of it on audio and as someone who reads a lot, i just haven't gotten to it yet. IM SORRY I AM ASHAMED.

Anyways, I do know some about Kay McCall (mainly from fanon) and she and Bev are good together. There was a real big "Lesbian Bev" spout after the 2017 movie release and she was the most commonly shipped with Bev, if i remember correctly. I wish I could see more of the pairing.

Also there is something to be said about Kay and Bill being both writers. One's a feminist writer and the other's a horror, but still.
