you entered the passcode to your studio apartment, letting yourself in after being met with an affirmative *beep*

after carelessly tossing your backpack onto the kitchen counter, you miraculously managed to drag yourself to your bed, collapsing on it right away

thank god it's saturday tomorrow

that was the only thought in your mind at present. you'd had a hectic week—no, a hectic fortnight...or was it a month...? your pre-existing headache grew worse as you tried to recall so you gave up eventually

your eyelids grew heavy and just as you were about to board your train to dreamland, star lost by stray kids started playing from the front pocket of your pants. wait, no, that couldn't be right. pockets don't make sounds...oh, it was only your phone ringing

an annoyed grunt escaped your mouth before you checked the caller id. a tired but genuine smile speak across your face when you saw who it was. you accepted the call and put it on speaker

"how's my girl doing?"

you could almost hear the smile in jay's voice, which, in turn, made your own smile widen. "i'm feeling pretty wiped honestly"

jay knew that, he'd noticed the way your smile didn't reach your eyes these days, how your shoulders seemed deflated, the way you looked as if you could pass out at any given moment. of course, he'd be there to catch you if you did

"have you had anything to eat yet?"

"no...sorry"

jay had expected as much

"want me to come over? i can make you something to eat, and then we could cuddle or watch a movie or something"

"yes please, i could really use your cuddles. only if it's not too much of a bother, of course"

"nothing's ever a bother when it comes to you. i'll be there in 10. wait for me, yeah?"

you hummed in response and hung up with an "i love you" which he mirrored back. his soft voice when he spoke to you always warmed your heart. you dozed off thinking about how you truly had the best boyfriend ever

the clatter of pots and pans jolted you awake

you screwed your eyes shut as a groan escaped you, the blaring headache coming back. you heard someone cursing, probably the same person responsible for the racket that disrupted your sleep

sitting up, you began to rub your eyes when you heard a sequence of frantic footsteps, getting progressively closer, and then a pair of arms wrapping around you

you looked up to see jay with an apologetic expression on his face

"i'm soo sorry 'bout that sweetheart, I was trying to be quiet but..."

you mumbled an "it's okay" while hugging him back. after staying in that position for some time, jay broke the silence

"how about you wash up yeah? i'll be in the kitchen"

you noded, shooting him a smile—which he returned—before getting up and making your way to your bathroom

when you came back out, feeling considerably more rested and energized, you found your bed was made, and your previously-cluttered desk was much tidier. a smile made it's way on your face, knowing it could be none other than jay's work

jay noticed you as you approached the kitchen counter, his face lighting up

"you're right on time for dinner!"

"dinner? don't you mean lunch?"

he tilted his head a little to the side in confusion

"it's 7:00 p.m. sweetie"

"already??? have i been out for that long? why didn't you wake me up??"

jay chuckled, "you looked so cute sleeping, i didn't wanna wake you. plus, you seemed like you needed it"

"fair enough"

by then jay announced dinner was ready so you helped him set the table and sat down for dinner. the noodles he'd made were simply delectable. it reminded you of the way you used to make them with your sister. you mentioned it to him among other compliments

"well, where do you think I got the recipe?" he winked. your mouth fell open. no way.

"i literally love you so much"

"love you too" he replied with his adorable smile

WHAT'S YOUR HANDLE!

SYNOPSIS ꒱ social media/internet headcanons for the saiki k characters.

CHARACTERS INCLUDED ꒱ saiki, kaidou, aren, nendou, toritsuka, hairo, teruhashi, aiura, yumehara, mera, rifuta

NOTE ꒱ i love the saiki k characters so much they’re like a fond memory.

KUSUO SAIKI

• surprisingly, saiki has social media.

• private account, of course. 0 posts, 0 followers, 0 following, (12 follow requests which he will never accept).

• claims it helps him be percieved as 'average' (he's keeping tabs on his friends those nuisances that follow him around).

• enjoys baking videos! when he finds a recipe he likes, him and his mother will make it together.

• he's one of those people who use perfect punctuation and grammar whilst typing. never turned off auto-capitalisation.

• dry texter by choice, not by chance. he's less dry when he's speaking online to someone he actually likes, but not by much (by less dry, you get a sentence instead of a one-word answer).

• leaves everyone on delivered most of the time.

• tried changing his number multiple times, but someone always manages to get hold of it so he just gave up.

SHUN KAIDOU

• no one wants to say it so i will. he uses wattpad.

• tried to use ao3/fanfiction.net but found it too difficult so he stuck to his roots.

• he would definetly write paragraphs upon paragraphs of the lore of the-jet-black-wings and dark reunion, as well as the origins of the power sealed within his right arm (black beat) and why it is DETRIMENTAL that this power is never unleashed or stolen by evil.

• everyone in the comments think that it's just a cool original story idea.

• absolutely inserts his friends as original characters in his lore. i might make a whole seperate post about this.

• he also uses reddit. where else is he going to get story ideas?

• has these apps pin locked and hidden in his phone, on the off-chance his mother decides to look through it.

• ABSOLUTELY plays roblox, his username is something cringe he made when he was ten (like the rest of us), refuses to change it. account is -13 for some reason.

• he has spent a lot of money on roblox. a troubling amount.

• types in lowercase, except when he's talking to his mother, then it's all punctuation and manners.

AREN KUBOYASU

• still purchases burner phones even though his gangster days are over. old habits die hard.

• uses an ipad more often than not.

• plays roblox with kaidou, is a bacon hair. his messages constantly get filtered because he still doesn't realise you can't swear on roblox. warned almost everyday - on the verge of being banned.

• watches motorcycle tiktoks, it's literally all his fyp is. the comments he leaves are usually just questions relating to the specs of the bikes.

• is the member of the group that pays for netflix and disney+ and lets everyone leech off of him.

• reformed aren posts pictures of his friends and himself, it's actually a really normal page - which is his goal.

• pre-reformed aren would just post videos of him flexing, and all of his fights. there's a lot of fights.

• also: mullet pics.

• is on reddit SOLELY for the purpose of biker groups. could probably write a thesis on an single engine part. probably has. don't ask him to show you.

RIKI NENDOU

• this guy BARELY knows how to operate a phone, let alone the internet.

• only really uses his phone to google stuff and talk to his buddies.

• nendou... is so bad at spelling... like... SO bad.

• half the time nobody can decipher his messages it's just that horrendous.

• uses emojis, but doesn't open the emoji tab?? so he'll type the emoji he wants and then leave the word prompt in the message?? (ex: 'ramen 🍜 after school 🏫 ?')

• made a seperate account for koriki no.2 but just uses it as his own.

• his first time posting a picture of himself one of those ⓘ - generated by ai messages was under it. THEY THINK HE’S TOO UGLY TO BE REAAALL.

• unintelligible comments left on everything he sees.

• also likes everything he sees. his fyp/explore pages are filled with nonsense. nothing makes sense.

• there are a lot of cute animal videos though - this is a recurring theme.

REITA TORITSUKA

• sigh.

• falls for those ads that are like: 'horny women in the area ready to fuck'.

• REALLY?? WHERE?

• has a lot of malware downloaded without his knowledge.

• a reddit troll, there's no doubt about it. he LIVES to piss people off on that site. think colin robinson in that one episode (this is a niche reference).

• i regret to inform everyone, but before omegle shut down... he was a regular.

• probably has several failed business ideas. also has probably invested in cryptocurrency, bragged about his newfound riches, lost his newfound riches due to the market collapsing, and the cycle continues.

• says outrageous things on twitter. outrageous. one might even go as far as to say heinous.

• probably has hate pages made about him.

KINESHI HAIRO

• without a doubt has a gym bro tiktok account, might be a disciple of joey swoll.

• reposts those 'before and after' gym pictures with messages of congratulations to the person - he's so sweet. >_<

• probably has a couple thousand followers, a lot of people from his local gym follow him.

• contrary to popular belief, he doesn't type with caps on all the time. keeps auto capitalisation on and uses a lot of exclamation marks though.

• is the person who created the class groupchat. and the group chat of the ENTIRE school year. he literally added EVERYONE to it.

• follows everyone? like... people don't even know how he knows everyone but he does?? (he's just really friendly).

• there's multiple videos that he's tagged in of him doing kind things for people, hairo is such a sweetheart guys.

• uses his platform to give fitness advice to people. there's a lot of motivational quotes plastered on his accounts.

KOKOMI TERUHASHI

• of course teruhashi has social media, how else will she broadcast her beauty?

• she has SO many message requests, dedicates hours a day to respond to them to maintain her 'perfect pretty girl' status.

• posts once every week at a scheduled time, get's thousands of likes without fail.

• has a finsta for her close friends.

• doesn't have tiktok but somewhow still has fan accounts on there. and on every other site.

• is really into conspiracy theories, although she won't publicise this or her stance on anything either. she must remain neutral.

• her @'s and tags are mostly full of her fans taking pictures with/of her. she appreciates it, of course! but it's still strange...

• has her brother blocked (thank god).

• has numerous ootd highlights, the people eat it up everytime.

MIKOTO AIURA

• chronic pinterest addict

• unironically uses yubo (she needs help)

• her instagram highlights are so fun to go through, it's messy but it's a hot mess

• posts A LOT, like multiple times a day

• consumes a lot of yoga/meditation media.

• a lot of her media intake is different subcultures of gyaru (obviously), but she's really into haute couture.

• she actually streams on twitch sometimes, mostly to do online readings for people - she also does makeup tutorials and posts fashion advice!

• has also been banned by twitch several times for bypassing terms of service. (it's not her fault that the admins are sensitive).

• her most used app is probably spotify. has ayesha erotica in most of her playlists.

• she has a seperate account for her business, she posts newly decorated crystal balls each week and does free weekly readings in order to promote herself.

CHIYO YUMEHARA

• runs a semi-popular baking yt, (which saiki follows, to the knowledge of no one)

• might be the only person who knows about kaidous secret wattpad account (bar saiki obviously), reads everything he writes and inserts herself into his scenarios.

• types all cutesy and uses emoticons like there is no tomorrow

• buys sketchy stuff off aliexpress that promise the most ludicrous results (ex: she buys fat burning/slimming creams and expects them to give her a perfect beach body, gets confused when it gives her a rash and then buys more).

• has an etsy shop and makes custom jewellery (makes it free for her friends and leaves it in their desks with a custom note, it's very wholesome).

• her notes app is under LOCK AND KEY. that shit is more secure than the nuclear codes.

CHISATO MERA

• doesn't have a phone. can't even afford gas and electric, let alone internet. is poor.

• BUT IF SHE WASN'T!!

• would join giveaways even if they're obviously fake. she's desperate.

• miraculously end up WINNING ONE?? she gets flown out to be featured in one of those obnoxious youtubers videos and comes back with a fat paycheck and ridiculously expensive electronics (which she eventually sells, probably to pay the rent).

• was also meant to critique the food but she rates everything a 10/10 so was not very useful.

• has the most games downloaded out of everyone, mostly to entertain her siblings when they're bored.

IMU RIFUTA

• has a really cute and aesthetic tumblr - yet somewhow doesn't know what fanfiction is?

• dear god this girl uses everskies. she ABSOLUTELY uses everskies. has been banned several times.

• has so many throwaway accounts. like it breaches fifty, it's getting to be a problem.

• definitely argues with people on public forums, you can't convince me that this girl doesn't have festering anger building up inside her, arguing online is like a rage room for her.

When he finally came home around 1:15am you were half asleep. “Sunghoon,” you mumbled. “Didn’t I tell you not to wait up for me?” “But I wanted to see you,” you whined from the couch. “Hmm I know Princess,” he said as he walked over to kiss your forehead. “But you need your rest. And I’d rather come home to see you sleeping peacefully in bed than you shivering on this couch,” he said before scooping you up into his arms.

“Sorry,” you whispered softly. “It’s okay. I should’ve expected this from you,” he continued before laying you down on the bed. Sunghoon pulled the covers over you. “I have to go in early tomorrow too,” he sighed. “But it’s Saturday,” you whined. “I know, but they need me. Sorry we had to cancel our date. Maybe we can try again next weekend,” he said before kissing you gently on the lips. “I promise I’ll make it up to you. Goodnight Princess,” he said before leaving to take a shower.

You woke up as Sunghoon left the room. You knew he was going to brew coffee because that’s what he always did. However, this time he didn’t come back to start getting dressed.

You climbed out of bed to go and check on him. If they needed him like he said they did you didn’t want him to be late. “Sunghoon?” You called as you walked to the kitchen. But you were soon overwhelmed with a sweet aroma.

“Good morning Princess,” he smiled as he stirred a spoon of sugar into a second cup of coffee. “Sunghoon, you don’t have time for muffins today. You have to go to work remember?” This was odd. Sunghoon was always punctual. He’d never been late a day in his life, unless of course circumstances prevented him from doing so.

“It’s Saturday babe. I can worry about work on Monday. I said I’ll make it up to you and that’s what I’m gonna do.” “But Sunghoon…” “But nothing. Work can wait. I want to enjoy my morning with my beautiful girl,” he said, wrapping his hands around your waist before kissing your lips. “I love you,” he smiled. “I love you too,” you smiled back.

“Now let’s enjoy our breakfast. And later we can go out for dinner. I’ve already made reservations.” “What do we do in the meantime?” “Whatever my princess wants.”

“Good morning baby,” Sunoo groaned as he slowly opened his sleepy eyes. “How’d you sleep?” He asked. “Good.” “Only good?” “Yea, why?” “Well, you fell asleep a few minutes after I put my hands on you,” he said as he pulled the covers off exposed your bare shoulders and chest. “Then you started moaning and calling out my name.”

You immediately blushed and pulled the covers over your face. “Hehe what were you dreaming about baby?” “Arghh Nothing! I don’t even remember.” “Sure you don’t,” he teased before pulling the covers off your face. “I wanna see my pretty baby’s face,” he giggled. “Nooooo,” you groaned before rolling over.

“Hehe. I was only teasing. You didn’t make a peep,” he smiled. “Sunoooo,” you yelled, smacking him with a pillow. “Ow!” He giggled, but you didn’t stop. “Fine *laughs* you want a pillow fight? You got one,” he said as the two of you took turns hitting each other.

The pillow fight intensified up until the point where Sunoo lost his balance and fell off the bed. “SUNOO!! Are you okay?” “Ugh yea,” he mumbled rubbing his head. “I know what’ll make you feel better,” you said before throwing on a shirt and running to the kitchen.

You quickly made Sunoo a mint chocolate chip sundae with whipped cream and sprinkles.

“Here ya go,” you smiled. “Awww thank you, baby,” he said as you handed him the bowl. “But where’s yours?” He pouted. “I just made one for you.” “Uh uh. That’s not how this works,” he said before walking out of the room. “Wait! Sunoo! What are you doing?” “I’m not eating alone.” “It’s okay Sunoo. Really.” “Nope. I’m already making it.”

Sunoo placed the ice cream sundae in front of you. “Now eat,” he said as he sat patiently waiting for you to pick up the spoon. “Okay, here. Let me help you,” Sunoo scooped up a mountain of ice cream. “Say ahhh,” he said as you opened your mouth on command. “Good girl,” he smiled. “Now let’s go enjoy our sundae’s together,” he continued before coming to kiss you on the cheek.

Thanks," you smiled back. "Okay, so do you wanna eat first or shower first?" "Umm, what do you think?" you asked him. "I'd usually shower first," he said. "You can go first if you want," you suggested. "No that's okay. I can wait. You go first."

You gathered your clothes together and headed to the bathroom. You were almost done with your shower when you realized you forgot a towel. "Wonnie!" you yelled from the bathroom. "What?" "I forgot to grab a towel. Can you get one for me?" "Sure babe. Just hold on," he said before getting up to grab you a few towels. He wasn't sure if you washed your hair or not so he just made sure to bring enough towels for whatever you might need.

"Hey babe I got your--" Jungwon stopped mid-sentence as he walked in to see your wet body covered in suds. "UH! Sorry, I forgot to knock," he stuttered. "It's okay," you chuckled nervously. "But since you're in here already you might as well take your shower," you continued. "Hehe, yea. Just let me go and grab my clothes real quick. That should give you enough time to get dressed," he said before closing the door behind him.

Just as Jungwon said, he waited for you to finish up before going to take his shower. It was long after you left when he stepped in and took care of himself. "How was your shower?" you asked with a smirk. "It was nice," he chuckled nervously. "I'll get started on our breakfast. You can help if you want." "Okay," you said before getting out all of the ingredients needed to make an omelet.

You tried reaching for the mixing bowl on one of the higher shelves, but couldn't reach it. "Wonnie, can you help me get this bowl down?" you asked. "Oh, yeah sure," he replied before extending his arm over your head to get the bowl. You didn't know what had gotten into you, but all of a sudden you were no longer in the mood for breakfast.

He felt the way you brushed your ass up against him when he reached over you. "Ah ah. Let's at least eat first. We can deal with that later," he giggled as he patted your head. "But--" "Nope. Food first. You're not gonna collapse on me." "But--" Jungwon cut you off with a kiss. "Hopefully that'll hold you for a little while."

You and Niki had stayed up late having a horror movie marathon. This was actually a routine of yours. Every Friday night the two of you would stay up super late watching way too many movies to remember details. This weekend Niki chose to binge the Insidious films, but you didn’t expect to be so exhausted.

You stayed up for the first one, but fell asleep on the second one. The last thing you remember is the “row your boat” scene.

*CRASH* a loud bang woke you from your sleep. You don’t know how long you had been asleep or what time it was, but when you looked around to see that it was still dark you knew it was nowhere close to morning.

“Niki?” You called out. Though you fell asleep in your shared bed, when you woke up he was gone.

“Niki?” *pat pat pat* the sound of running footsteps echoed down the hall. “Niki? Is that you?” There was no reply. *CREEEK* you heard the sound of the floor boards creaking followed by another loud thud.

“Niki! Stop messing around! This isn’t funny!” You shouted. You assumed it was just Niki trying to scare you so you started to climb out of bed. “Alright Niki. I’ve had enough of this. Let’s just go back to bed. It’s too damn early for this goofy shit.” You muttered as you walked towards the door.

*AHHHHHH* a gut wrenching scream followed by a cloaked figure ran down the hallway toward the door.

Niki or no Niki, you were scared as hell now. You slammed the door and ran back into your bed.

Whatever was on the other side kept pulling and twisting the knob and banging on the door. More terrifying screaming followed before everything went completely silent. “Niki?” You called out one last time.

The door swung open and the figure pounced on top of you. You started screaming and kicking, but it was of no use as the figure had you pinned down.

“Ha! I got u punk.” You looked up to see Niki smiling down at you. “Niki! What the hell! You scared the fuck out of me!” “Haha I know right,” he laughed. “Wait did you hear that?” He whispered as his eyes darted back and forth. “Hear what?” “BLAHHH!” He shouted in your face. “Ugh, Niki your such a dick.” You scoffed before pushing him off of you.

“Hehe do you want some waffles?” “Waffles?” “Yea I’m hungry.” “Are you kidding me?” “Uhhh…no. I’m hungry and I want waffles. So I’m asking if you want any…duhhh” “Duhhh,” you mocked him. “Do you want some or not?” He chuckled. “Yea I want some.” You chuckled back. “Extra whip?” “Yea.” “Alright. I’ll go get it and be right back, okay?” “Okay,” you smiled before he placed a kiss on your forehead.

Naruto Deco CC Collection (DL below)

🍜🍥ICHIRAKU RAMEN SET🍥🍜 (requires SE and CCMESH)

Only the decals are base game compatible, found with the rest of the naruto wall decals. The light and curtains require SE pack. The curtains ALSO require this @channel4sims mesh (called curtain 1), which you can also find in requirements section. I needed at least five squares to spell 4 "Ramen" katakanas and the Ichiraku kanji, so I used their addon 6 square curtain, for the last square i just put different ramen pictures.

🍥Noren Curtains Sets (requires SE)

Get plain coloured curtains with no symbols in the Addon section. I don't remember the price but I left it the same as the snowy escape ones.😅💜There is a large four square and a small two square curtain of everything.

In order: Naruto bijuu seal, Naruto 6 paths sage mode, Sakura's crest (uchiha ones are with uzumaki package), ANBU, Land of Fire, Akatsuki, Gaara's love tattoo, Sage of 6 paths, sealed orochimaru curse mark. 🍥Konoha Clan Symbols

All resizable, only minor issue is if they are thin black lines or sized down too much then when you zoom out they disappear a bit. They cost 0 simoleons and can be found in wall deco category. 🍥FILES INFO: Uchiha curtain symbols are with uzumaki clan symbols in separate package not in the misc or clan ones, the curtains had too many swatches so I divided them up; Otsutsuki also separate package; the names of the files are self explanatory if you wish to pick and choose, if you want the entire collection there is a merged file with everything, don't forget the mesh, don't install merged with anything else or you'll get duplicates) 🍥REQUIREMENTS ❗❗❗ Decals require nothing. All Noren Curtains require Snowy Escape. Ichiraku Set also requires SE, but apart from that requires this MESH by @channel4sims-cc (I mentioned above but forgot here, it is in the set called curtain 1)

🍥ABOUT THE SYMBOLS/DESIGNS: I included: misc symbols (Akatsuki, Gaara's love tattoo, ANBU, orochimaru curse mark with and without seal, Naruto's bijuu seal, all main konoha clan symbols (Sarutobi, Senju, Nara, Yamanaka, Akimichi, Aburame, Hyuuga, Inuzuka, Haruno, Uzumaki, Uchiha), Land of Fire symbol, the main hidden villages (Konoha/Leaf, Kumo/Cloud, Kiri/Mist, Oto/Sound, Suna/Sand, Ame/Rain, Iwa/Stone), Otsutsuki and 6 paths symbols. In cases where there was more than one online or I wasn't sure which was the main symbol I just made various different ones, sorry if I got anything wrong, all images were found online. I tried to use colours that matched the colour schemes used in the anime for characters clans and villages. (Also didn't mention but the curtains further to the top are only brighter because of the lighting, they are all the same though, sorry I suck at the photos)

33-36/dop - [15-18th/january]

Last Couple of days:

⚛️had my quantum physics exam - it went pretty well, i think

🧡🩵 watched sasaki to miyano: graduation (this movie made me scream sm, I love them)

📚 studied for the exam lol

🍜 cooked a very nice ramen which is a win bc everything i had cooked in the weekend made me nauseous (just wanted to add this bc i really like the food emoji's they're so cute)

Today:

✅ watched ep 1, s2 of good omens

✅ 📝finish ppt 1 of MCPF and read ppt2 entirely

✅ during breaks - read good omens🪽 [read only 20 pages, but still, it's progress]

✅ 🗓️ organize my next two weeks, bc im going to have 3 exams and im getting a bit overwhelmed by the thought of it

Azul didn't know what he was getting into when he first started dating you. He never knew your love language was gift giving. Well, more specifically food giving. You loved baking and cooking. So when you gave him made him food for not just lunch, bus sometimes breakfast or dinner too? He was surprised. Well, it wasn't like the Ramshackle dorm had a great kitchen to make food in, so really no one knew how much talent you held in the kitchen.

But he really does appreciate the food you make for him. He knows how much love and time you put into it. So he always feels guilty when he doesn't eat it all.

You do know that he doesn't eat it all. And you never force him to eat what you make him. But the gentle look on his face whenever you knock on his office with a meal for him, that's a look that you never want to get rid of.

Whenever Jade or Floyd are also in the office with Azul, they always end up teasing Azul about it. Floyd sometimes asks for a portion of his meal, but instead of giving some of it to him, Azul pushes the dish away from the twins.

Azul also lets you use the kitchen whenever you want. He's given you your own section in the Mostro Lounge kitchen, one that no one can use except for you. Sometimes, if the food that you make for him has such a perfectly unique flavor, he'll ask you to write the recipe down and add it to the menu. He loves letting you contribute to the business.

Foods I think Team Urameshi enjoys 🍜 😋

This post is kinda inspired by/a continuation of this post I made about Hiei so please enjoy my thoughts on the rest of the team’s taste in food!

Yusuke:

If the live action did nothing else, it definitely established that Yusuke’s a ramen guy 😂

He likes both the instant stuff and the traditional kind but the latter is his go to if he can afford it

The instant ones are good but they doo remind him of his childhood when either his mom didn’t have enough money to feed him properly or she was too intoxicated to feed him properly

He also really likes American food

If you get him a good burger, some fries and some soda, he’s your friend for life

He LOVES a good cheesy pizza! The greasier and cheesier the better

Honestly he just LOVES heavy, greasy, heart food

It makes him feel full and weirdly energized

He could eat an entire family bucket of fried chicken by himself, sides and all, and feel pumped up for a good workout 🏋️‍♂️

He also loves spicy food

His spice tolerance is average but he genuinely likes the burn 🔥

If he sees a spicy challenge, he’s gonna do it just to see how far he can go

He’s currently at a level 7 out of 10 on the 🌶️ meter

He’s also very open to exploring weird food combinations and food from other cultures

This includes food from the demon world

He actually kinda likes food from demon world, he just feels like it could use some more spices

Catch him trying Nutella and bologna because Chu swears that the last time he went to the human world he tried it and it was delicious

…he actually tried it…and he liked it…

9 times out of 10 he’s gonna try and actually like the cursed foods you recommend to him

Kuwabara:

He’s a big sandwich connoisseur 🥪 🧐

He just likes how customizable and portable they are

Honestly he likes meals that are not only balanced, but a comfort to the soul

So things like stews, ramen, soba, curry and pasta dishes

One of his personal favorites things to both eat and make are bento boxes 🍱

He loves making them for his friends and family for a number of reasons

For one, it’s his way of making sure his loved ones are eating enough

Some of his friends come from low income households that don’t always have enough money for food

He made sure that whenever they hung out, they were always well fed

He also learned how to make bentos from his mom and sister

He really enjoyed the cooking lessons and he enjoys the warm fuzzy feelings he gets when he feeds his loved ones

The one food he won’t make or consume is anything spicy

He can’t handle spicy food and doesn’t feel confident enough to properly make a spicy dish

Honestly he can’t eat anything spicier than a jalapeño

But he will try to beat Yusuke and Hiei in spice challenges

…my boy never wins and I don’t know why he thinks he will at this point 😂

Kurama:

Like seemingly everything else about this guy, his palate is very refined

He likes expensive things like lobster, caviar, and liver tartare

Part of why he likes it is Yoko has expensive taste and old habits die hard 😂

In Yoko’s correct opinion, if you’re gonna feed him, you might as well break out the good stuff

The other reason is that a lot of these foods have very strong flavors and he enjoys that every now and then

That by no means mean he hates “Lowe quality” foods

He use to eat McDonald’s as a kid

He liked it

Still eats it from time to time

Not as often as Yusuke does, but like…if friends invite him out for a burger, he’ll eat it

Big enjoyer of fruit, grows it himself actually!

The fresher the better 😌👌

He loves ice cream! 🍨 specially strawberry, vanilla and most fruity sorbets

He actually has a bit of a sweet tooth tbh

Thank his mom for that cuz she’d give her baby boy sweets if he looked at her with his big puppy eyes

Mf didn’t even have to say a word

She’d either buy them or make them for him

Even into his adulthood, he can demolish a tray of cookies and macaroons on his own

The difference is that as a child he didn’t care about his weight or how much sugar he’s eating

As an adult, he absolutely cares because he wants to stay in shape and also his body is technically human so he doesn’t wanna deal with diabetes if he can avoid it

Now he also technically grew up with demon world food when he was Yoko

Demon world food is whatever you can find that’s edible

So usually it’s other demons and edible plants/produce

Some of which does that pretty good

But a lot of it is more for survival than taste

He’s absolutely had to eat a bug demon before and not only did it look gross, it tasted gross!

But it was either that or starve…

And believe me…he did debate it…but food doesn’t always just die for you so…🐛🐛🐛

Boy was he grateful that humans in Japan eat some of the best food he’s ever seen

Human food has also made Kurama appreciate the artistry that can go into food

When he sees the chef went out of their way to make the food look like a literal work of art, he’s always so amazed!

He actually has a hard time eating something if it looks super pretty

Expect him to take a few pictures before he eats btw 🤣

He also has an shockingly high spice tolerance

He can eat authentic Thai food without sweating

But certain peppers will automatically have him on his knees

He can and has grown his own peppers to see if he can make spicier peppers than what’s available

He has, but internet trends make people competitive enough to dethrone him by next week 🤣

Hiei:

Oh this guy ain’t picky

Honestly he’ll eat burnt food if he’s hungry enough

He can also eat 10xs his own body weight

Want proof?

Togashi himself knows this little gremlin is a bottomless pit of angst and hangry

He could easily eat you and 12 of your friends out of house and home and still have the audacity to wonder why ya’ll stressed 🙄

Hello grew up in an environment where food was not guaranteed every day so any food he got, he wasn’t wasting a crumb

Even if he’d been given a giant demon bug leg, best believe he’s eating it

Waste not want not as they say

The only food he’s very sus about is mushrooms 🍄

Especially when talking about demon world mushrooms, a lot of them are very hard to identify wether they’re poisonous or so he tends to avoid them

Unless Kurama is there to tell him it’s poisonous or not

He’ll never admit it out loud but he LOVES human food so much!

It’s so flavorful!

His favorite dishes are meaty rice and noodle dishes

Honestly any dishes with meat are an instant hit with him 🍖

But his all time favorite dishes are the spicy ones

The spicier the better 🌶️🌶️🌶️

His spice tolerance is otherworldly

I’m 99.99% sure he could eat lava and not react

To this day, Yusuke and Kurama are trying to find a dish or pepper spicy enough to make Hiei sweat

They so far have not been successful 😔

Honestly not sure they will succeed any time soon
