"You should leave, you know, but-- Well, you'll leave when you have to, probably.  For now, you run toward the shouting." Siffrin meets Mirabelle and her companions by having very little self-preservation.
I wrote nearly 2k today because this game has nestled into the cranium. help

Favorite chubby bruno hcs GO!
YESSSSS!!! 😍
These are all post-walls/post-canon headcanons bellycanons.
Julieta will usually pat Bruno’s belly, while Pepa likes to poke (and pinch) him in the tum and sides.
Much to Bruno’s chagrin, his sisters are also quick to realize that his chubby tummy is a lot of fun to tickle. It wasn’t nearly as satisfying back when his stomach was flat.
He has a very cute belly laugh—he's always had one, but after he recovers and fills out, there’s more belly to shake.
His tío tummy is Antonio's favorite pillow.
Pepa’s always hoisted him in the air around his waist, but it feels better when your smaller brother has a good squish to his middle.
He tends to rest his hand on his belly because it's soft and warm.
He’ll fall asleep with his hand there too, and when it’s full he’ll curl up around his stomach, etc.
It’s a bit like an extra squishy stress ball for him.
He eventually develops a pretty healthy appetite. It’s almost like there are two Camilos.
For a while, Camilo has competition for leftovers and snacks.
Bruno tends to carry his weight in his belly and cheeks/face. (I vacillate between his having a pot belly vs. a pudgier lower belly (apple vs pear, kinda); I’m happy with either/any shape, just as long as he has a tummy lol.) Edit: water balloon shape!
Alma has a special place in her heart for his squishier cheeks.
Sometimes he feels self-conscious about his li’l gut, mainly around people who aren’t his family.
But most of the time he doesn’t mind it. He likes how it makes him feel grounded. And after so many years of wanting, he appreciates having food and being full.
His rats will climb and sit on his belly, and even sleep on it. Their claws often tickle.
As toddlers and kids, his grand-niblings like to smack their little hands on his round belly like a drum.
He loves soups and stews (anything warm, really) and will absolutely fill up on them.
It’s Félix who starts up the nickname “pancita de sopa,” often changing it up depending on what soup Bruno’s had (“pancita de cuchuco,” “pancita de sancocho,” etc.) AKA the “sopancita”
It can be a challenge. For example, he still has trouble with his Gift and just can’t bring himself to eat much on days when he’s battling headaches/migraines and nausea. Julieta in particular always worries about him on these days.
She takes her job of preserving Bruno’s pancita, and fattening him up in general, very seriously.
Luisa likes that the weight makes her tío more substantial (she was afraid she’d hurt him when he was so scrawny).
Dolores, Isabela, and Mirabel (well, everyone) think it makes sense that their soft-hearted tío is also soft on the outside.
Dolores develops the habit of bringing him a snack the moment she starts to hear his stomach growl. There are no hungry Tío Brunos allowed on her watch listen!
Bruno asked Agustín to let out his trousers twice before Agustín went ahead and sewed him a set of new clothes from scratch. Gus himself is no stranger to becoming chubby under Julieta’s influence, and he made sure all the waistbands and shirts had some extra room (just in case).
Note: I do take the fashion doll as a (further) sign that Bruno’s pancita is canon, though I still tend to stick with my own canon that the rounded shape we see in the film is not quite a healthy one, and that he gains an actual, healthy chubby belly post-canon. The idea that Bruno’s always been soft in the middle is also super cute. 😌💚 No matter what, it definitely suits him.
Thanks for the ask!! 😭

Just imagine Mirabel in the Scooby Doo AU tried to run from something cause she's scared for Antonio (cause let's be real this chick has no self preservation but would do anything for that boy) so she just picks him up and dashes away and everyone is left gaping at the dust trail she leaves and if magic is still a thing then everyone wonders if she somehow got superspeed without them knowing.
Yo she would be the fastest huh ☠️ My girl may not have a gift, but she has speed, like that girl can run. She is by far the fastest of the group and family, if not the whole town.
She just scoops Antonio up and speeds off, taking "Eat my dust" a little too literally. Leaves everyone behind and tells them to hurry up.

Would villain!Juileta ever treat Isabela like her daughter again, even if it's only to better control her/give off the impression that nothing's wrong? I feel like Isa would be so starved of comfort and affection that she'd even take it from the person actively hurting her, which is so much horror. I mean, she's already used to desperately wanting the approval of someone she fears and who controls/isolates her...
Ahhh pre-WECID Isabela is the kind of person to have SUCH A SMALL sense of self-worth she has SO SHITTY self-preservation instincts, our girl is doing so bad she doesn't even register she's a victim of abuse. She belives she 100% needs/deserves what Julieta is doing to her. She's not angry, she doesn't think it's unfair, and she may even be thankful that Julieta ever lets her stay in Casita.
So Julieta showing her kindness would actually feel like the biggest form of validation possible, like she's somehow earned her forgiveness, even if she still struggles to believe she deserved it. It's the kind of thing that makes her break after "freezing" - she can hold herself together and pretend nothing's wrong in front of everyone while falling apart inside because Mirabel keeps looking at her during dinner and she feels like she's going to have a panic attack at any moment now while looking like 🙂 but her mother cupping her face between her hands and brushing her hair from her face would make her break into tears and bask in any form of affection that Julieta is willing to offer her, regardless of whether she has blood running down the side of her head or if she's strugging to breathe because she has a broken rib.
Now the thing with this villain!Julieta is that... she's not really all that cold and manipulative. She doesn't care about playing with Isabela's feelings and she doesn't enjoy hurting her. Making Isabela feel safe only to pull the rug from under her feet sounds like extra steps. Nothing a light beating with her rolling pin and a stern threat won't do, because the order is clear: stay the fuck away from her daughter. Isabela can understand that without having her brain toyed with. She's very direct and does only what she thinks is strictly necessary to protect Mirabel, her baby, and she can't her love for her two other daughters get in the way. There's a rustic dryness to Julieta's tactics. She's less of a cunning snake and more of a very strong mama bear. So I don't think she'd start treating Isabela as a daughter again unless she truly meant it - and by this I don't mean their relationship would be fixed in any way, Julieta still loves Isabela much less than Mirabel and she's willing to sacrifice her to protect her baby, but a least favorite daughter is still a daughter. If she ever thinks she went too far and tries to comfort Isabela after beating her, maybe even while apologizing - because this isn't a matter of pride or feeling in power, it's a matter of protecting Mirabel entirely - then it will be because she wants to have her daughter back. It has to be because, on some level, Julieta has "forgiven" Isabela enough to, uh, stop disowning her. Possibly not enough to stop with the physical punishment tho.
But the other thing is that I don't know if this Julieta will ever "forgive" Isabela, I don't know if she loves her enough to want her back, or if learning about her relationship with Mirabel will break m everything completely. I like both options: Julieta still showing genuine love for her oldest daughter while physically threatening and abusing her to keep Mirabel "safe", vs Julieta seeing Isabela as practically a stranger, some person she needs to feed and tolerate to keep up appearances, but for whom she feels no sympathy for. Mirabel would be much safer if she were gone. That's just no daughter of hers.
Alternatively maybe a balance could be found? Julieta being colder initially and trying to love Isabela again later on? Though that would mean diminishing the tension, right? Cos Isabela is less in danger as time goes on, the situation is getting easier instead of worse, and I can't imagine the situation going the other way either, because I believe this is Julieta still processing the initial shock of Isabela confessing to her that she had a romantic and sexual relationship with her very own sister. Maybe a back and forth, then? Some days are better than others. Sometimes Julieta will freak out about "going too far" and suddenly hug Isabela, right after feeding her something to heal her bruises, and even though she'll be just as cruel in the morning, Isabela stays awake all night thinking about the heavenly feeling of her mother hugging her again :D

Surface Pressure (Isabela’s Version)
I changed the lyrics of “Surface Pressure” to fit Isabela in the pre-movie status quo, because I love her, this song, angst and character exploration. And I have too much time. I tried to convey a different tone and type of pressure to Luisa, oriented around the more nebulous idea of perfection rather than the practical responsibilities of strength. Like the original, it’s addressed to Mirabel, though not directly. This is more hearing her unspoken inner monologue. I imagine it’s in response to Mirabel noticing a slip in her facade and expressing worry for her. In fact, that it goes unspoken is an important facet of the tragedy of it for me; she does love her little sister and wants her to enjoy and appreciate her freedom from the glare of spotlight, the soul-smothering expectations and demands and duties that Isabela feels trapped at the behest of, but hiding her own pain and not seeing Mirabel’s for it enables Mirabel just keeps envying her in a self-perpetuating cycle of mutual resentment. Yet showing vulnerability and fallibility is so absolutely terrifying that at this point, she prefers being scoffed at and envied on a pedestal to her anxieties and desires and nuanced humanity being recognized - she’ll take Mirabel hating her false persona over knowing her authentic self because she thinks her authentic self is a moral failure that much. This is what the choruses are saying. When she says Mirabel doesn’t deserve the life Isabela has, she means it in a good way. It just never comes out like that. …I’ll stop rambling now.
I’m the model, I’m not nervous
I’m devotedly, totally perfect
I’m as giving as the earth is
And I glow ‘cause I know what my worth is
I don’t wonder if I’ve earned this
Got a smiling, beguiling surface
Orchids and carnations, with no aberrations
You want flor de mayo, for sure, here’s a mile, but
Under the surface
I feel berserk as a tightrope walker in a three-ring circus
Under the surface
Isn’t your concern, as you’ve heard, you do not deserve this
Under the surface
I’m pretty sure I’m worthless if I can’t be of service
A flaw or a crack
The straw in the stack
That breaks the camel’s back
What breaks the camel’s back?
It's pressure like a drip, drip, drip that'll never stop, whoa
Pressure that'll tip, tip, tip till you just go pop, whoa-oh-oh
Leave it to your sister, your sister's older
Never chance a glance over her cold shoulder
Who am I if I can't run with the ball?
If I fall to
Pressure like a grip, grip, grip and it won't let go, whoa
Pressure that’ll tick, tick, tick till it's ready to blow, whoa-oh-oh
Leave it to your sister, her life’s all roses
Never mind the hours practicing those poses
Who am I if I can't outgrow it all?
If I falter?
Under the surface
I hide my nerves and it worsens, what are gifts versus curses?
Under the surface
The roots burrow further, don’t swerve and I can’t reverse this
Under the surface
I think about my purpose, how long can I preserve this?
Line up the dominoes
A light wind blows
You try to stop it toppling
But on and on it goes
But wait
If I could shake the crushing weight
Of expectations, would that free some room up for joy?
Or relaxation? Or simple pleasure?
Instead we measure this growing pressure
Keep growing, keep going
'Cause all we know is
Pressure like a drip, drip, drip that'll never stop, woah
Pressure that'll tip, tip, tip till you just go pop, woah-oh-oh
Leave it to your sister, she knows her place
One stumble or stutter from utter disgrace
Watch as she buckles and bends but never breaks
No mistakes, just
Pressure like a grip, grip, grip and it won't let go, woah
Pressure that’ll tick, tick, tick till it’s ready to blow, woah-oh-oh
Please believe your sister, go back to hating
As long as I stay silent I’m not suffocating
Who am I if I don't have what it takes?
No cracks, no breaks
No mistakes
No pressure

(All) Which of the ROs would cause the most damage if they turned evil?
Max (The One Chosen): Global necromantic overlord.
Kevin (The One Chosen): Like The Birds, except all animals want you dead.
Helena (The One Chosen): I honestly can't imagine her turning evil, but if she did, she could do almost anything, given enough time to prepare for it.
Ædmund (The One Chosen): Knows how to summon a demon, and is willing to die to achieve his aims. Also knows how to rupture thousands of eardrums at once.
Teri (The One Chosen): Political power plus mind control.
Aiden (Unearth your Gays): Mind control, teleportation, can't be properly hurt by anything except silver (even sunlight and garlic just weaken him), almost insatiable appetite for human blood, plus the potential to learn shapeshifting. Somewhat mitigated by a self-preservation instinct that would keep him away from any political positions, or else he'd be a couple of places higher.
Sammy (Totem Force): Can hack military software, so about as dangerous as an entire army.
Veera, Fothy (Lovecraft Academy): Political power, but without the mind control (Fothy has more than Veera during the story, but Veera has potentially more... if he murders a whole bunch of brothers and cousins).
Lani (Totem Force): Pretty much has her own private army. (Oh, and is probably already evil.)
Kay, Chi, Anara, Ryu, Akira, Mirabelle (Totem Force): Very powerful, insanely durable, but ultimately quite localised.
Dahlia (The One Chosen): Knows some pretty powerful spells, but nothing insanely dangerous.
Xiulan (The One Chosen): Tornadoes. Destructive, but pretty local like the TOT3M characters (and without their durability).
Charlie (The One Chosen): Could kill you with his bare hands. Or with a sword.
Toby (Unearth your Gays): Stronger and more durable than the average person, but slower, too.
Phil (Totem Force): He knows martial arts.
Seth (Unearth your Gays): Had a lot of political power in Ancient Egypt; now he's just some guy.
Robin, Will, Bignell, Jasper (Lovecraft Academy): Just teenagers.
Lan (Unearth your Gays): Literally incapable of interacting with most of the world. Can't even teleport in front of traffic to scare people.

The au that inspired this was the crazy flor au by @toaverse
Camilo -
The first personality is Carlos, Carlos is mean, rude, sneaky, and mischievous. Carlos doesn't come out unless Camilo lets him come out so he can get a break. He hates Alma so he tries to avoid her at costs so he doesn't explode on her and get Camilo in trouble. He's the primary protector of Camilo. He can bend shadows and hide in them.
Chico is the 2nd personality, Chico is 5 years old. He's the active part of Camilo and comes out often when it comes to theatre plays and playing with the town kids. He's very scared of Alma so he avoids her as well. His gift is bending light.
Luisa -
The first personality is Lorena, Lorena is very feminine, preppy, and calm. Lorena loves to make dresses, shoes, scarves, etc. She's very easy to talk to and is always willing to lend a helping hand. Lorena doesn't come out much for obvious reasons but when Luisa is alone she will let her come even when it's just styling hair. Her gift is Jewelry manipulation.
2nd is Liliana, Liliana is Luisa's protector. Liliana is bold, quiet, and sassy. She will call you out on BS and leave as if she didn't say anything at all. Lili is very observant and can tell when you are lying. She and Luisa kind of work together like Camilo and Chico when it comes to certain things. Her gift is Intangibility, she can walk through walls.
3rd is litzy, Litzy is a happy, silly, and optimistic 6-year-old girl. she's ready for adventure and anything fun. She also doesn't come out for obvious reasons but she does when it comes to celebrations such as holidays or birthdays. Her gift is the ability to create anything through Imagination. She has a whole amusement park in her room that she created.
Pepa -
Pepita/Fuega is Pepa's 2nd personality, Pepita is angry, loud, and standoffish. She is mainly Pepa's protector and a way for her to let her emotions out. She's quick to lash out at anything and call someone out. She came out on her wedding day when Bruno told that joke. Her gift is the ability to create fire.
Pepi is Pepa's 3rd personality, Pepi is very emotional and will cry at the smallest things. Her emotions are very big and noticeable and she mostly comes out when Pepa is feeling a regular emotion. Because Pepa's emotions are pushed down so much Pepi makes them bigger than they need to be at times.
Dolores -
Danitza is Dolores's 2nd personality. Danitza comes out when Dolores is overwhelmed and needs to escape. Danitza is kind of emotionless and less talkative than Dolores. She'll only answer a question by nodding, squeaking, and shrugging. She's not really helpful unless Alma needs her to listen in on something. Danitza will blatantly say something hurtful and wouldn't have a care in the world. Her gift is muting down sounds.
Danna is an adventurous and confident woman who isn't afraid to speak her mind. If she and litzy met they would get along well. Dolores doesn't let her out that often so when she does Danna is all over the place. Danna is a comedian as well, she loves to crack jokes to make the frown go upside down. Her gift is the ability of super speed.
Julieta -
Juanita is Julieta's only other personality, she's mostly the daredevil part of Julieta. She has no self-preservation and won't let anyone stand in the way of her fun. Her gift is Invulnerability.
Mirabel -
Marisol is like Mirabel's older sister in a way. She highly cares for her physical appearance and loves being the center of attention. Manuela is kind of stuck up and what Mirabel would call "Senorita perfect" or "primadonna".
Marla is like Luisa when it comes to confidence and focus. She's the one who keeps Mirabel on a steady pace and clear path. Marla also protects Mirabel when it comes to bullies who try to verbally or Physically fight Mira.
Marly is like Julieta when it comes to kindness and calmness. Marly is there for Mirabel when she has a tough day. She's the one to soothe Mirabel and the others if need be. She is also the best one to come to when you need advice or help with crafting something.
Melina is like Camilo, she is very mischievous and comedically funny. She loves theatre and she really wants to bond with Camilo but it's obvious why they can't. Melina likes playing pranks on Isabela and it's always Cami who gets blamed for it. She's the one who made the "la familia madrigal" song.
Maria is like Pepa but she's allowed to experience her emotions. She's also the one to help Mirabel when she's having a tough day. She'll sing, dance, joke, and she'll do anything to make her 'sister' happy.
Marcela formed after Antonio's ceremony. she's a bright and fun five-year-old girl. She loves exploring and see's the alters and Mirabel as her older siblings. Marcela doesn't understand why she can't come out but she trusts what her older siblings tell her.
Melaney is like Dolores, she's quiet and observant. She only comes out when none of the other alters + Mirabel feel like coming out for the day. Melaney will just walk around town listening to other people's secrets or just collect stuff for some hobbies such as sewing/embroidery. She's the one who did the embroidery on Mirabel's dress as a present.
-
Should I do some designs on Mirabel's alters and should I do an alter that's like Alma?

EDIT: Fixed the mispelling of Mirabel's name
Okay I want to say something about the ending of Encanto. (spoilers below)
As I was watching this scene with Mirabel and Abuela, I started feeling somewhat sad/bitter in a way of "this is a good message, even if unrealistic. This is a kids movie, so the positive message is necessary and hopeful, but the ending afterwards couldn't happen in real world."
But here's the thing; This COULD happen, it is realistic! Why?
Because Abuela Alma Madrigal was the one to go and search for Mirabel. She wasn't seething somewhere and blaming her grand daughter. She was looking for her just like everyone else in the village.
When she found her, she didn't yell at her or push her even lower and pile layers and layers of guilt onto her. Mirabel laying out the truth of who Alma has become while she was trying to preserve the miracle her husband left behind, and also assuring the community (and herself) that they will not lose this home, clearly opened her eyes. And the reality struck deep.
Alma apologized to Mirabel. She shared her story, her pain and apologized for blaming Mirabel. This is what makes the happy ending of the movie possible and beliavable and as realistic as a magical Disney movie can get;
An old woman who is a powerful figure in the community, made the first move and acknowledged the wrong she caused, and her granddaughter was willing to understand and remind her that the family is able to overcome and fix anything, as long as they do it together.
It wasn't Mirabel or the family pushing Alma to do this; Alma decided to share what she went through and didn't use it to try and justify her behaviour, or ask for forgiveness.
Again, this doesn't mean that all is forgotten; she still hurt her family, even if she did not mean for that to happen. If her family members were more bitter, or she simply gave an apology and returned to the same behaviour before everyone lost their magic, there would be no fixing.
But she tries. And Mirabel understands and helps. Everyone helps and together they form an imperfect, flawed family, that still loves eachother. And that will absolutely have to navigate around the things they learned and realized.
If Alma wasn't the one to find Mirabel, if she didn't admit the truth herself and acknowledged it, and if Mirabel didn't acknowledge her Abuela' suffering and bravery, extending a hand and a chance of change with help, the movie would end very differentely.
I wanted to write this, because my self projection on the family dynamics and Mirabel as the protagonist, muddled the details of what was actually happening right in front of my eyes. Maybe it happened to someone else as well, so I wanted to add my two cents to the ever growing wonderful amount of posts where people point these details out.
Abuela Alma was willing to accept change when it was offered, after admiting her wrongs. And that's what makes the difference.

Naoko's fanfics masterlist
Tumblr media
Hello! It's Naoko! I'm french and I'm writing fanfictions for years. I actually started as a teen after discovering anime and paused it in a really long time. I continued to write some OS for my best friend with our OCs though because she's my number 1 fan (we even met like that).
I figured I should do a masterlist of my works! A masterlist divided in three parts : those in french, those in english, and drabbles/ficlets that I post of Tumblr. Those parts are divided in subparts with the fandoms.
I then divided my ficlet/drabble as "old format" vs "new format" because at some point I discovered it was generally better to include the replies in the paragraphs. And I decided to change Bruno's fangirl format to this one so now it only concerns my drabbles and ficlets.
Just know that I'll spare you my cringe fics!
Fics in english:
Encanto
Bruno's fangirl (Bruno madrigal x fem!reader/OC) (Reader has a name and I don't use you) - Completed and rated G
fluff / humor / light angst / no smut / Isekai
While Mirabel is in a bad posture, because of Dolores starting to spread the information about her finding Bruno's vision, her cousin hears someone entering the house. Gone to check who it is, Mirabel discovers a woman wearing strange clothes she saw earlier at the town.
And that woman seems to be interested by Bruno.
A new miracle (Bruno x fem!reader/OC) (Bruno's fangirl's sequel) - oneshot rated G
Domestic fluff / humor / Pregnancy
"Now," continued Alma, clearing her throat. "Which one of you may be pregnant?" Perlita’s eyes widened, suddenly reminding what she had forgotten: Jared Bush said that, when a Madrigal child is expected, a door will start to cook. Too stunned to answer right away, she looked at her family as Alma was being replied by Julieta, "Mamá, Pepa and I can't have kids anymore. It can't be us." "Not me either," claimed Dolores while Pepa was nodding. "I didn't see Mariano at all for three days." Eventually, they all turned to her, who turned to Bruno as she was realising it can only be them. He probably did too, since he suddenly fainted with a gasp.
The Marvelous Mayhem of the Madrigals Minds - Ongoing and rated G
Fluff & Angst / attempt at humor / no smut or incest / Original female character of color / Therapy
When a therapist meets the Madrigal family and gives up her vacation to help them feel better.
Mirabel into the Brunoverse - Completed, rated M
Halloween fic/injury/corpse/violence/Mourning/Guilt/Blood
A door suddenly appeared inside Casita, letting some alternate versions of Bruno enter the house, all immediately renamed by the family. But it also permitted a more villainous one to enter, named Evil Bruno.
To beat him they must find the Great Alejandra, the amazing founder of the Encanto in most worlds.
Lovers for a day (and beyond) (Bruno x GN!reader) - Oneshot, completed
Aangst & Fluff/hanahaki disease/drunken flirting/Bruno has self-worth issues
The day after a party, Bruno wakes up to find you, his crush, in the courtyard, claiming he's your boyfriend. In front of his amnesia due to alcohol, and his hesitation, you suggests him to go out with you during one day, and decide at the end of it if he wants to continue.
Drabbles/Ficlets (under 2000 words) (On tumblr and on Ao3):

Thoughts on Surface Pressure 2/2
Let’s jump right back in! First part is here.
I was talking about anxiety, and here it is:
Tumblr media
We’re back to the verse. “Under the surface, I hide my nerves and it worsens, I worry something is gonna hurt us.” That dissonance between what she’s showing and what she’s saying is back. She worries, it worsens, but she’s posing, ready to stop an avalanche. Mirabel is a beat behind, still putting together what Luisa’s telling her even while Luisa’s once again putting her body between Mirabel and danger.
NOW WE ARRIVE AT ONE OF MY FAVORITE PARTS!
Tumblr media
The Good Ship Madrigal. It’s a Titanic reference, of course, but it’s literally the Madrigal, painted right there on the hull.
And the ship doesn’t swerve. Has it heard how big the iceberg is?
Tumblr media
There are SO MANY LAYERS HERE. The iceberg is a great metaphor for what’s going on with Luisa: what’s above the waterline might be tall and intimidating, but it’s nothing compared to the depth of what’s happening beneath. It’s also a great metaphor for what Luisa fears is coming; we know from after the end of the song that she felt weak at the same time Mirabel saw the cracks, and it kept her up all night. What she can’t see and can’t anticipate is how deep the cascade failure of the family’s magic might go. There’s a practical threat to the family here, and also a threat to Luisa’s identity, her entire self-worth.
And then we have the ship, the Madrigal-Titanic, headed right for disaster. Refusing to swerve, because that would show weakness, and Alma copes with her fear by strictly maintaining the appearance that everything is fine. Like the Titanic, the ship of their family puts a lot of energy into showing beauty and prosperity, and a lot of that is real! But they’re not prepared, they don’t have enough lifeboats, and Luisa feels that it falls to her to remove all obstacles before they crash.
Tumblr media
Mirabel is deep in it now, and there’s nothing she can do except back away in horror from what’s coming while the donkey string band in the background plays the ship into disaster.
But here comes Luisa! Ready to save the day yet again!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She leaps into action, even as the words she’s singing are expressing her anger -- nobody is actually seeing how big the expectations on her have become.
But she succeeds again! They make it to shore! Except all this action is starting to take a toll on Luisa; instead of looking ahead to what’s coming next, she’s still looking back, putting Mirabel in what she thinks is a position of safety.
Tumblr media
She even takes a moment to fix Mira’s glasses. It’s a tender gesture, and another metaphor -- she's desperate for Mirabel to see what she’s trying to show.
Tumblr media
“I think about my purpose, can I some how preserve this?” Is she trying to preserve her gift? Her place in the family and in the community? Literally and figuratively trying to preserve her sister and their relationship? I think all of those things are layered into this line; as with the iceberg, her fears are bigger and deeper than they seem.
But the hits keep coming, and they’re getting more personal.
Tumblr media
Faced with her own door, the representation of her gift and her identity, Luisa puts Mirabel behind her again. There’s danger here that she knows her sister can’t understand. As viewers, we of course understand Mirabel’s perspective, how not getting a gift and a door has hurt her and made her feel lacking. But now we’re seeing the other side, this anxious, suffering Luisa shielding Mirabel from the weight of performing Madrigal amazingness.
And it’s so heavy!!!!
Tumblr media
Luisa fought Cerberus, held up the globe, punched apart an iceberg, but struggles to hold up her own door. If she lets go to deal with the next crisis, the domino effect of the whole encanto’s expectations will crush her.
But wait!
Tumblr media
The tornado Luisa calls “a light wind” blows them right into Oz, a place totally different from her reality where she can “shake the crushing weight of expectations.” She’s not thinking about Mirabel now, because at last she’s in an imagined place of safety, weightless. Nothing can harm them here.
And then we get this great gag with Mirabel’s glasses:
Tumblr media
Of course, nothing here is just a gag. We’re back to those themes about perception, Mirabel drawing our attention to her ability to see what’s really going on.
AND LOOK AT THIS KID! SHE JUST WANTS SOME JOY!
Tumblr media
SOME RELAXATION! SHE WANTS TO RIDE SIDESADDLE ON A SPARKLY UNICORN DONKEY IN A SHOWER OF COLOMBIAN FLAG CONFETTI! These are the simple pleasures of the cutest teen ever to exist.
But she’s been the strong one since she turned five, and nobody’s ever gotten to see this. She hasn’t had time to show this, or ask for it, and the music reminds us as it starts to intensify that “instead we measure this growing pressure.”
It keeps growing.
Tumblr media
Dissonance again, but it’s a little different this time! Luisa’s smiling; in the chaotic landscape of her emotions, Mirabel is a bright spot. Even as Luisa is starting to break, she can find a little bit of peace at the tail end of her relaxation fantasy, enough to try to reassure Mirabel that things will be okay.
Mirabel even believes her, because once again, this is the loving sister she recognizes.
Tumblr media
But the music’s building, and so are the words. “Keep going,” she’s singing, please go listen to her voice here because it’s heartbreaking, “’cause all we know is --”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She CAN’T CATCH A BREAK. The fantasy is over; Luisa is rising to meet the next challenge, and she has to drop Mirabel into the arms of gravity to do it.
Tumblr media
Okay. I have to apologize in advance for how many screenshots I need to talk about the next few seconds of this song. We’ve dropped from floaty pink and purple clouds to this: just a red spotlight, nothing to distract the eye from Luisa, her burdens, and Mirabel. Even the music mostly drops away, and we’re left with a bare thrumming baseline and Luisa’s soft-voiced confession: no matter what she imagines, the pressure will never stop.
Tumblr media
I’M IN AGONY. SO IS LUISA. SO IS MIRABEL.
Tumblr media
Mirabel is now faced with the bare bones reality: her sister is in pain, and nobody else knows about it -- and unless she does something, nobody will ever notice, because Luisa still has not actually failed to do anything asked of her.
She’s still standing! Because it’s not actually about the weight.
Tumblr media
As we’ve known from the beginning of the song, it’s about the expectations of others, the pressure Luisa puts on herself, and her inability to cope without rest, or joy, or care.
Mirabel even reaches out, as though she could help carry all this:
Tumblr media
And then we get the most heartbreaking line of all, “Give it to your sister, it doesn’t hurt.”
Tumblr media
Luisa told us herself, she has an indestructible surface. Nothing anyone could ask will injure her, probably nothing in the encanto is too heavy for her to lift. But she is hurting, and the way Jessica Darrow sings this line just slams me directly into my own grave.
“And see if she can handle every family burden” ??????? Awful. I’m in pain. Is she carrying every literal burden? Possibly! Every emotional one? I doubt that the adults in her life think they’re putting that on her, but that’s what she’s hearing. It’s what being praised for her strength and usefulness from the age of five has trained her to hear. It’s what an environment of secrecy, of not talking about her tío who disappeared, not talking about what it might mean that her sister didn’t receive a gift, not talking about the trauma Alma has passed on through her coping mechanisms, has wrought on Luisa. Earn your gift, earn your place, don’t complain, and don’t talk about what you’re feeling.
“Watch as she buckles and bends but never breaks” also hurts!!!!!!
Tumblr media
Luisa’s gift is extremely practical, but it’s also a sideshow. She can pick up a rock! She can pick up a donkey! She can pick up a church! Her strength seems infinite! Everybody’s watching, but nobody’s seeing what she’s struggling with.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Except, finally, Mirabel.
Tumblr media
And after this super intense and bare chorus, cutting down right to the bone, Luisa rallies:
Tumblr media
She let her guard down, she showed her heart, and she scared her little sister. It’s time to pull back, to bring the energy back up, because it’s terrifying to have revealed so much. Anger is safer, so she’s circled back to it! “No mistakes,” what she feels is expected, and what she demands of herself! The growl in her voice in this transition moment is SO INTENSE. We also get all the instruments back and a wicked piano run that makes me just go wild
Tumblr media
FIERCE! Look, Mirabel! It’s leg day, Luisa’s got it handled, just pretend you don’t hear the chorus still happening!
I’m obsessed with her form here, she’s back to perfection, making everything look great:
Tumblr media
We get a little bit of comedic relief:
Tumblr media
And a dance break that’s FIRE but also just a little bit unhinged -- Luisa is panicking, trying to get back to an even keel where things are okay, but she’s doing that by literally performing again, in a space that looks like a tv studio set version of casita’s patio.
Tumblr media
And poor Mirabel is back to a rough ride on the Madrigal-Titanic while Giant Luisa just grins alarmingly, fully a mask.
Tumblr media
The Hercules vibe is back, plus a Maui from Moana vibe, plus a Genie from Aladdin vibe -- she’s presenting power of mythic, godlike proportions. “Give it to your sister and never wonder if the same pressure would have pulled you under!”
Tumblr media
This time it is a direction for Mirabel. Forget I said all of that! Don’t think twice about asking me for anything, because there’s nothing wrong here! My job is to make sure you don’t have to worry!
“Who am I if I don’t have what it takes?” Just a girl dancing on top of a giant vueltiao, ready for the next challenge!
Tumblr media
“No cracks, no breaks!”
Tumblr media
But here’s where we land. Somehow heavier than the abstract weight of the world, Luisa is carrying her whole world. The entire encanto, the mountains, even the sun. (Again, kind of Superman! The sun is important to this tableau, now that it’s shining on her instead of that scary red spotlight, she can keep pretending!)
Tumblr media
She’s still trying to convince herself: “no mistakes, no pressure!”
And as the dust settles...
Tumblr media
We slam back into reality. The path hasn’t been torn up out of the ground. The metaphor space is gone. We’re faced with the physicality of Luisa’s panic, just heavy breathing on a random sunny day when Mirabel’s questions pushed her over the edge.
Tumblr media
All Mirabel can do now is validate her, try to support her, and submit to some light crushing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Good job, Mirabel! Things are gonna go downhill for Luisa from here, but only for a little while, and Mirabel’s gonna show the fam how to treat each other better!
Let’s end on a bonus hug, just because.

REALLY IMPORTANT #MPPREGPOCALYPSE THOUGHTS.
ok i am pulling a paragraph out of this post:
oh and 3) could you imagine lily sunder has some regrets if cas was pregnant? unfathomable episode. like ishim and mirabel’s reaction but ALSO lily’s. and it would fix the number one issue i have with lily sunder, which is that the resolution of the moral dilemma is “well AKSHUALLY the kid was human and not a nephilim so killing it was bad” rather than “it was bad to kill lily’s baby, full stop.” like ishim’s cover up and using the machinery of power to manipulate the truth is very compelling, but the fact that it results in the moral essentially being “it would have been okay if the kid had been a nephilim” suuuuuucks.
so let me set the scene. cas is pregnant, and it is a secret. or at least, it's a secret from the winchesters. a la this au, though this doesn't necessarily take place in that au specifically. but what you need to know is that cas is pregnant, it's a secret from the winchesters and other angels, and cas has some kind of glamor spell that's hiding his pregnancy from angels which requires constant maintenance.
anyway. the basic theme of canon lily sunder is ishim abusing his power to be a sexual predator towards women (lily obviously, but also the comments he makes about cas' former vessel). that's a theme i want to preserve. and the fact that he lied about the nature of lily's daughter to cover up his own indiscretion is integral to that. but i think i've found a way.
like, in canon lily sunder, ishim was the original angel who appeared to lily, and he was her friend until he started sexually harassing her. i think that we could still preserve the same basic meaning if, instead of a friendship ruined by sexual harassment, it was a romantic relationship ruined by domestic abuse.
what i'm saying is that lily's daughter is ishim's nephil, and ishim killed her and akobel to cover that up, as well as to punish lily for escaping him. i think that suitably preserves the themes about ishim and lily while also both removing the icky "is was only bad because she was human" angle and creating delicious new themes about secrets and lies and hidden desires.
anyway. during the final confrontation, after all this has come out. well. ishim nearly kills cas, just like in canon. and cas is weak. so weak that the glamor falls away. ishim's eyes go wide in disgust. and he spits, "you're carrying a nephil?"
out loud.
in front of dean, and sam, and lily.
cas still offers his own life up for lily to take, but this time there's not even a question. lily sees too clearly the terrible parallel of their situations, the horrific reversal. lily gives cas her hand, and helps him up. perhaps they have a little talk.
dean sees a certain parallel too, and feels sick. he doesn't talk. he does grip the wheel of the impala more tightly, and do a bit of much needed self-reflection.

city life au:
Maybe Mirabel made a doll for casita so when it wants to walk on its own it can. The doll has a trait that is similar to everybody else's. Green eyes like Bruno, Isabela's mole, Antonio's nose, Dolore's skin tone, Mirabel's lips, Luisa's eyebrows, and Camilo's hair. Since Casita is so childlike Mirabel made the doll looks about 5 years old.
When Casita saw the doll there were ecstatic. Mirabel said she had a surprise for them but was told not to snoop in her room so it didn't know what the surprise was. Before Mirabel could say anything Casita put itself into the doll. Casita never had legs or arms or anything human-like before so they had a hard time for the first couple of months. Casita can't speak but they do squeak and hum.
After Casita got the hang of it the Aventuras couldn't keep them still for two seconds. When they're around people Casita uses asl so people don't get suspicious of the family because casita can just stare at them and they can tell what he's saying Casi can't do that when people are around.
Casita has no self-preservation(they used to be a house why would they?) and with each stun, they've done the Aventuras have grey hair. Yes, they are a daredevil family but they have to announce when they are about to do something daredevilish or they do something daredevilish together. Casita on the other hand just does what they want, it's not intentional they just get so caught up with adrenaline or curiosity that they forget to tell the others what they are doing.
Everybody thought that sense casita is as old as Bruno and that they would at least have some sort of maturity but then again...Bruno is a goofball so they were sadly mistaken.
I would like to add that Casi ages like everyone else because it's casita and they do as they please.
Casita got lost so many times in the past year...
AYO DOLL CASITA???
We rockin wit it 😩 Yeah. As soon as Casita gets a movable body, its over. Constantly getting lost, ripping a seem, running around like a 3 year old on caffeine? Not uncommon at all.

I imagine them going to bar is miserable for Isa because she has to babysit Isa in bar they shouldn't be in and Mirabel begged her to go and worse for Isa this maybe bar she's been to before and concerning amount of the women present are her exes. Maybe a ex goes up to flirt with Mirabel who didn't meet Mirabel or the rest of the family because Isa thought she was to creepy and made her uncomfortable so Isa has to pretend to be Mirabel's protective girlfriend to get rid of her. Also since she is babysitting and driving back she can't even get drunk.
omg yesssss yes creepy older woman who made Isa uncomfortable now comes back to hit on the 15yo. Like... Isabela already knew this woman wasn't safe to be around, but she had zero self-preservation instincts and let her do whatever she wanted for some time before she had enough and left. But now, seeing her approach baby sister fills her with uncontrolable anger and terror, and she doesn't even think before she shows up to wrap her arms around Mira's shoulders from behind, place her chin on top of her head and pull her close to her chest, and tells her ex to fuck off, because Mira is already accompanied and has no need for her. It maker her feel strong and powerful, but also deeply ashamed, because this same ex used to do the same whenever a man tried to flirt with her, and now she wonders if she's just like her - acting possesive with a younger girl - but then Mira cuddles into her and hugs her and thanks her, something Isa never did with this woman. It's one of those moments when Mira being so young and impossibly small makes her heart race, aaaaaa, baby sister is so tiny, must be protecc

Lyrical Enlightenment: Surface Pressure (Encanto)
This is the first of my three favorite songs in the soundtrack.
At this stage, Mirabel has started her search for answers in why she is seeing the cracks in the house and the candle flickering away. Using her powers of deduction, she decides to start with Dolores, who hears everything, to find out if she has a clue on what's going on. She learns from Dolores that Luisa's eye was twitching all night - so Mirabel chases her older sister (the one with the gift of superhuman strength) for answers. The question she asks that hits home is "Why are you nervous?" - and then this happens.
I'm the strong one, I'm not nervous I'm as tough as the crust of the Earth is I move mountains, I move churches And I glow 'cause I know what my worth is I don't ask how hard the work is Got a rough, indestructible surface Diamonds and platinum, I find 'em, I flatten 'em I take what I'm handed, I break what's demanded, but...
This shows what Luisa has done since her gift was given. A few moments before the song, we hear three different people in town ask her to do things, and she simply answers with 'I got it' or 'on it' - no questioning, no complaining - just delivering. Some of the tasks are actually simple things that can be achieved with some effort - like rounding up the donkeys, for example. But the town is so used to just asking and getting things done, that they prefer just to ask without thinking twice of the consequences. This in turn gives Luisa much more responsibility, as per Abuela's mandate, she is making her family proud by using her gift to help the community. However...
Under the surface I feel berserk as a tightrope walker in a three-ring circus Under the surface Was Hercules ever like, "Yo, I don't wanna fight Cerberus"? Under the surface I'm pretty sure I'm worthless if I can't be of service
This is the first line that makes an impact. "I'm pretty sure I'm worthless if I can't be of service". This is the line of thought that has been ingrained in her brain when she was growing up, surely implanted by Abuela. Her self-worth is measured by the things she does because of her gift - and nothing else.
A flaw or a crack The straw in the stack That breaks the camel's back What breaks the camel's back? It's pressure like a drip, drip, drip, that'll never stop, whoa
This is the pressure that she feels, every day, at all times. Not the pressure of using her strength - but the pressure of disappointing someone, and the fear of not pulling through the task she's assigned.
Pressure that'll tip, tip, tip, 'til you just go pop, whoa-oh-oh Give it to your sister, your sister's older Give her all the heavy things we can't shoulder
This also hit me hard. Growing up, I was the oldest first cousin - so I was always supposed to be the wise one, the strong one, the responsible one, the one who led by example. And the one who comforts the rest in difficult times. The 'heavy things we can't shoulder' is Luisa handling what others can't, a metaphor of emotional distress that she has to get past in order to put a strong façade for those younger than her because they rely on her to get past their troubles.
Who am I if I can't run with the ball? If I fold to Pressure like a grip, grip, grip, and it won't let go, whoa Pressure like a tick, tick, tick, 'til it's ready to blow, whoa-oh-oh Give it to your sister, your sister's stronger See if she can hang on a little longer Who am I if I can't carry it all? If I falter
More questions - who am I if I can't... always a show of strength, always reliable, never hesitant, never show weakness. A lot of internal pressure that can never be let out to the surface.
Under the surface I hide my nerves and it worsens, I worry something is gonna hurt us Under the surface The ship doesn't swerve as it heard how big the iceberg is Under the surface I think about my purpose, can I somehow preserve this? Line up the dominoes A light wind blows You try to stop it tumbling But on and on it goes
There is the call out of hiding emotion so nobody else knows. The worry is all hidden, and something nobody sees. But the internal pressure is too much, and it starts surfacing by making her eye twitch, which Dolores heard, and led Mirabel to this moment. Now comes the desire for reprieve:
But wait, if I could shake The crushing weight of expectations Would that free some room up for joy? Or relaxation? Or simple pleasure?
Luisa is tired of not getting a moment to breathe, to relax, to wind down. The pressure of expectation is stressing her out, and hasn't had a break thus far. This is the truth about her - the truth that Mirabel learns. Yes, Luisa is very strong on the outside, but on the inside she's falling apart. And sadly, there's no reprieve in sight.
Instead, we measure this growing pressure Keeps growing, keep going 'Cause all we know is Pressure like a drip, drip, drip, that'll never stop, whoa Pressure that'll tip, tip, tip, 'til you just go pop, whoa-oh-oh Give it to your sister, it doesn't hurt and See if she can handle every family burden Watch as she buckles and bends but never breaks
This is another section that cuts deep. "It doesn't hurt". This is an echo of what I imagine she's heard others say. They don't know it hurts because she doesn't let them see if and when it does. So every family burden is dropped on her, since the assumption by now is that she can handle everything that is thrown on her. Her strength without a negative reaction is normalized, so now there's no second thought when asking her to do stuff.
No mistakes, just Pressure like a grip, grip, grip, and it won't let go, whoa Pressure like a tick, tick, tick, 'til it's ready to blow, whoa-oh-oh Give it to your sister and never wonder If the same pressure would've pulled you under
This is the last line that makes a deep impact. "Never wonder if the same pressure would've pulled you under". Again, no second thought on dropping things on Luisa's back. We no longer care about how difficult the task seemed to be, or how hard it was to achieve, because she's strong, makes it look easy, and gets it done without complain. Not only the task is eliminated by giving it to Luisa - but the worry that comes attached to it is passed on to her as well.
Who am I if I don't have what it takes? No cracks, no breaks No mistakes, no pressure
The last line is obviously a throw at the sarcastic 'no pressure' we all get when we are assigned a difficult task, or something we have to turn around quickly, or put a lot of effort on, and is asked of us to not break or make mistakes - which is obviously going to derive pressure. Again - the normalization of ignoring the mental stress and emotional erosion that comes from these tasks.
In the end, Mirabel hugs Luisa, because she finally realizes what her older sister is going through, invisible to the rest. Luisa confesses that, when Mirabel saw the cracks in the house, she felt weak - which breaks her spirit due to the incessant questioning we learned through the song. She believes that, without her strength, she will lose her identity completely. Then, as Luisa continues gathering the donkeys for those who have learned to rely on her for any tasks requiring some effort, she tells Mirabel she should find out more about Bruno.
Hence, next up, my second favorite song of the soundtrack.

ey mate! ur pfp is *chefs kiss*
if possible, could I get a matchup? :3c
I'm a wee nonbinary goblin, about 4'10. I'm also pansexu!!!! most of my energy comes from coffee and energy drinks, otherwise I tend to sleep for 14+ hours at a time. only downside? chaotic energy, I'll eat hand santatizer(and do it again). I'm pretty artistic, I do art and writing sometimes. I've also got autism/tourette's, so i get overstimulated a lot and sometimes hurt myself from my tics. i like climbing stuff and doing dangerous things just for the fun of it, and will do my dang best to lift my friends and carry them around like they're my cat(despite my utter lack of upper body strength). I'm very hyper fixated on sharks, horror, and greek mythos atm, and am very open with stimming!!!! I show my love through physical contact(light punches, headbutting, hugging, biting, ect.) and spoken word and giving them my full attention. I've got the braincells of a goldfish, and I tend to be stupider than a dead fly when it comes to anything I'm not hyper fixated on(i.e. me thinking cherries were a vegetable). I'm very slow to anger, most things people do wont anger me so much as make me sad :[
tl;dr: short dumbass goblin draws and writes and has no self preservance, will also throw hands
WHO’S THAT POKEMON?!

IT’S MIRABEL MADRIGAL! 🌈🎁
A/N: our meeting was not a coincidence, but fate - i am soup, you are noodles. now we need a bowl. 🍲 this one was really fun to write and i hope you enjoy! ^_^
WHAT MIRABEL LIKES ABOUT YOU
She likes that you’re adventurous and like to climb and do dangerous stuff! She herself is also very adventurous, and although she doesn’t have a power like her family, she’ll do whatever it takes to protect you on your shared endeavors.
She appreciates how patient and slow to anger you are. Her whole life, she’s had to walk on eggshells with crossed fingers in hope she wouldn’t tick off her Abuela. With you, though, she knows that it’s okay to make mistakes and that if she messes up you’ll still love her regardless.
Mirabel loves how chaotic you are. She’s always in the mood for a good laugh.
She likes that you give affection through words. She definitely needs that affirmation.
She likes that you’re into Greek mythology! When she was younger, she was always looking for something to keep her occupied since everyone else in her family was always gone, so she’s definitely a big fan of Greek mythology. She will hyperfixate on it with you.
She loves that you’re creative and that you like drawing and writing! She likes when you draw her designs for her to knit.
HOW YOU MET
You ran through the forest, giggling happily. You knew you weren’t necessarily supposed to go in the forest, but it was just so much fun!
You emerged from the trees and back into the village, ready to go home after a long day of playing. You skipped down the street, your steps in sync with the sound of the music that was playing around you. You were so invested in the music you didn’t even notice the young girl right in front of you! WHAM, you ran right into her! You both fell flat on your butts.
“Sorry! I should’ve looked where I was going,” you apologized quickly. You noticed her looking around for something, squinting. You quickly grabbed the pair of glasses that had flown off of her face, handing them to her.
“Thanks,” she whispered, putting them back onto her face.
“Are they broken?”
“Nah, just a bit bent. ‘S okay, though! I have an extra pair at home!”
You stood, now helping her up and smiling at her. “You must break and bend them a lot, then.”
“Yeah… hey, what’s your name? I don’t see you around that much.”
“I’m (Y/N)!”
“I’m Mirabel. It’s nice to meet you, (Y/N)... I’ve gotta get home now. It’s almost dinner time, my mom’s making my favorite tonight!”
“Kay. Bye, Mirabel!”
With that she was off, and so were you.
ROMANTIC HEADCANONS
She knitted you a pair of really soft gloves for you to wear when your tics get bad so you don’t hurt yourself too badly. She most definitely put little shark fins on them.
Mirabel gets up a lot sooner than you do, so she makes sure to start up a pot of coffee thirty minutes before you wake up so you’ll be able to have warm coffee.
She’ll turn as red as a cherry when you pick her up.
Some days, she’ll just come knocking on your door and ask you to adventure with her to somewhere the two of you haven’t been before. You’ll both get lost in the woods for hours until Dolores comes to get you both.
If you try to scare her, she’ll most definitely jump and you’ll watch her life flash before her eyes. She’ll probably pinch your ear, but other than that, she’ll just laugh it off.
If someone tries to be rude to you, for whatever reason, she will verbally demolish them. They will be crying by the end. And then she’ll just casually wrap an around your shoulder and ask, “You want to eat lunch out today or do you want to make something at home?”
She likes to spin you around. There isn’t really any specific reason she does this.
The first time you met Mirabel’s family was extremely hectic… but they all liked you!
She describes the way she feels about you as constant fireworks going off inside of her.

My main thing is that Janus represents self preservation and healing. That’s why I paired him with Julieta who heals via food. Agustín being completely and utterly supportive, though a bit misguided (can’t think of another word) in ways kind of reminded me of Patton.
I’m not really pairing people because of personalities, but more roles. Like I think Janus would be Julieta, Remus would be Bruno, and Virgil would be Pepa. Not really for personality but because of roles. Janus I’ve already explained. Pepa clearly has some anxiety and Virgil is the human embodiment of anxiety. Bruno being misunderstood and the cast out reminds me of Remus.
Because I’m analogical trash, Logan would be Félix, calming down Virgil, but I could also see him as Isabela being the seeming fine and not being listened to. Roman I would put as Luisa. Remy could either be Camilo or Dolores. Picani I could also see as Félix. Adding in some more Cartoon Therapy characters, Eliot would be good for Mirabel, in my opinion. I don’t really know who would be Alma though. . . -Cuddle Anon
Well clearly C!Thomas is Alma in this scenario. The leader who was given the miracle.
