(some) bllk boys as cuddling partner — a rating list.

bachira — best cuddler/10. big spoon? he loves hugging you! little spoon? he loves being hugged by you! embracing each other, lying side by side while the two of you share whispers and quiet giggles? baby, he could do that all day. if he could, this guy would probably hold your hand or hug you all the time while dribbling a soccer ball. be thankful that's physically impossible because if it isn't nothing stops this bee from doing what he loves. honestly, the champion in this department. go home everyone. when he feels happy it's hug time when he is sad it's also hug time.

rin — if you guys just started out, 2/10. 1 point bonus because he is so stiff it's funny—the best deal you can get is him being a big spoon while sitting and doing something else. if he is focused on just cuddling you it will forgo being awkward to straight up comedic. but once he gets used to it, 7/10. his pride won't let him small spoon but he is a good big spoon. very relaxed around you, hand around your hips, head perched on your shoulder, and so on. the worst part of this is not even bad since it's just him getting the clingier, touch-starved part of him out so yeah. at least have 3 hours reserved for cuddles.

isagi — 10/10 no bias except this one is self-aware. 3/10 when starting out and that's like a bonus point for effort. when it's a short casual hug, it's easy and sweet for him. then put in private space, his shyness that wow turns out is still kinda there when it comes to you, and prolonged hug that becomes his main focus for an extended period then you get a statue instead of a bf. but get him comfy and it's instant 8/10 — is way too insistent and determined on "he needs to see your face :((" sometimes because yes he is accomodating 101 but this is egoist. but very clingy, very soft, very warm, very cuddly, very bf.

sae — when he is napping? you are his hug pillow. but even that is 6/10 because his hold on you is ironclad. and as his hug mostly comes in the form of a backhug—because cool fridge guy thing probably—he is trained to make you comfy. but yeah no escaping this guy. when he is awake though, getting him to cuddle or reciprocate your hug (in public, especially) is already a miracle. when you do though, 4/10 because at least he won't throw you like he will do to everyone else. just accept his fate as your doll. while sighing or flatly glare at anyone who dares to comment.

nagi — the runner-up!!! simply because that's like his natural habitat there. 9/10, minus 1 point because on lazy days, if he doesn't get his cuddle he will whine and become annoying. grubby hand is cute, a giant creature made of muscle putting all of his weight on your back while you try to move around doing your business is not. but other than that, really good as both a little spoon and big spoon. just hold him or let him hold you. he likes you enough that there is 50/50 chance of him completely forgetting his game to cuddle you how downbad is that.

I know there's no way for them to ever canonically interact so it's a good thing I'm an artist and can just

I should probably mention that my Paper Mario and TTYD knowledge consists of:

Paper Mario: the opening cutscene, the vulture fight you can skip by saying you're Luigi, Parakarry, Luigi's diary, the name Goombario, Star Spirits(?), Kammy

TTYD: Hooktail, Luigi's Adventure, the look of the final fight, Koops, Doo_liss, Peach talks to a computer, Vivian, Bowser's there (???)

With that being said, In the theoretical scenario where they met though I'd say:

SQ Peach would have Bowser wrapped around her little finger, it didn't need much convincing he's just like that.

Bowser would try to imitate the smoke from Peaches cigarette to try to impress her, making rings and stuff.

While she doesn't care about these antics she'll sometimes show fake gratitude so he doesn't turn against her. It's good to have allies, especially above average ones.

In the beginning they both thought the little guy was pathetic and while Bowser stayed in his egoistic mindset Peach soon realised that while she could beat The Koopa King, she would not win in a fight with CH Luigi. After that realisation her attitude towards him didn't change (not to raise suspicion) but she knows to keep distance just in case.

At some point she might've tried to manipulate him to her side as well but while he does look silly he isn't stupid.

One day Luigi will be friendly and jolly, the other cunning and mischievous. It's tough having two personalities. Same with Peach, power hungry and egoistic yet dainty and a flower fan. Bowser's the only one who is just plainly a brute with short temper that will do anything to get his way.

In summary: Bowser only wants Peaches attention (thinks he can gain it with power) and doesn't care about the runt unless he annoys him, SQ Peach knows that Bowser will do anything for her and takes advantage of it while also trying her best to play around the other nuisance to her benefit, CH Luigi does whatever he wants because he knows they cant do anything to stop him in the end and Mario is living his fever dream.

I could probably think of more ideas but then this post would be much, much longer. So yeah I redesigned them slightly for funsies and while working on the art I've also came up with some dynamics that I wanted to share. It's a little different from my usual stuff ,as I mostly try to stay relatively close to the canon, but I had fun with coming up with these!

NAKSHATRA SERIES: OBSERVATION FROM DIFFERENT NAKSHATRAS (SEGUNDO)

(Disclaimer: If you get butthurt on my other observation just blocked me and move away from me. This observations is from the celebrity i've observe and my social circle. Just take this like a grain of salt)

PUNARVASU

The trait that I love about Punarvasu is their resourcefulness. It makes sense because of the Vimshottari Nakshatra of Jupiter. They are also very giving.

(Unevolved) Punarvasu are fake. When they're talking to you, they act like a goody two shoes type of boy/girl, but when you're gone, they talk behind your back. They don't like confrontation (very passive). Also holier than thou (This only applies if you're UNEVOLVED, otherwise don't get butthurt).

Punarvasu are also people-pleasers. They want to have a "goody-two-shoes" reputation. (I can't fully describe it, but if you get it, you get it). A primary example that I'm going to give is Elon Musk (Punarvasu rising). The way he acts and presents himself in public. He just wants to be likable, but clearly, the public hates him.

Punarvasu are smart and they will show you that through their actions (I mean actions, for example, problem-solving activities)

PUSHYA:

The casting stereotype of this nakshatra is a hippy vibe. Just like in animated movies, Matilda (from Angry Birds Movie played by Maya Rudolph (Pushya sun)) and Brooke (from Ice Age: Collision Course played by Jessie J (Pushya moon)).

Pushya isn't as auspicious as it is portrayed in the Vedic astrology community. You will go through some hardships and heartbreaks that will make you easily susceptible to mental health issues. (I have this placement so this comes from my experience).

I observed this from other Pushya natives that they're just plain and simple, not glamorous but classy when it comes to their appearance. Just simplicity and vibes and natural.

I've seen on Twitter Vedic discourse about Tikshna Nakshatra getting all the hate, Ashlesha getting all the hate, not Pushya. I have a Pushya placement on my luminary, and I can tell y'all that's not true.

Examples:

Jennifer Lopez (Pushya sun) gets hated for getting all the benefits of being a celebrity when she's just allegedly stealing (I've also read this through Twitter).

Selena Gomez (Pushya sun) is hated for having this victim mentality complex and being "obsessed with Justin and Hailey."

(DISCLAIMER: This isn't my opinion on these certain celebrities, but I've been reading and seeing them on Twitter)

ASHLESHA

Despite being a Mercury-ruled Vimshottari nakshatra, Ashlesha doesn't speak too much.

I've seen Ashlesha males acting like sigma males, but they're funny. This is the nakshatra that embodies the "tropical Leo archetype," the archetype of funny, center of attention, fashionable, and dramatic.

Ashlesha either love all the attention or hate it. Mostly it's a mixture of the two. That's why the center of attention archetype for Tropical Leo.

Claire Nakti just conducted a survey on YouTube, but the leading people on Instagram (having the most followers) have Ashlesha placements. Selena Gomez (Ashlesha Venus and Mercury - still prominent because it conjuncts the Sun, which is her luminary), Kylie Jenner (Ashlesha Sun), and Cristiano Ronaldo (Ashlesha Moon).

MAGHA

If you have Magha in your big three, you're egoistic as fuck (for me egoistic above on other nakshatra). Napoleon has this Nakshatra on his sun. The new TikTok hype about King Baldwin IV (played by Edward Norton, Magha sun).

It's hard to differentiate Ashlesha and Magha because of the Gandanta point (and other Gandanta nakshatras):

- Both private

- Romantic (because other nakshatra of Leo gets all the credit of being romantic, but not Magha; they're romantic too)

- Both GREAT at their stuff/profession/talent

But to tell them apart is Ashlesha says, "I don't give a fuck," and they do give a fuck (because of the Crab cancer symbolism, it really makes sense why they put up a facade because of the shield) when Magha says nothing and literally doesn't give a fuck. They won't entertain. Yes, they're sensitive, but mostly they really don't give a fuck.

I don't get the hype of "Ketu nakshatras are not on social media. They don't usually use social media" on Vedic Twitter. Magha (Ashwini and Mula too) are active; they just don't interact or have private accounts. Ketu is exalted in the sign of Scorpio (investigating, lurking), and y'all think that they don't use social media? Joking, for real.

I still emphasize that Magha nakshatra individuals have sleeping problems. One of the Magha moon actors (in my home country) opens up about having sleep apnea and having a near-death experience. (Also, the beauty queen Magha sun talks about a near-death experience). It's common for them to experience the "Their soul is leaving the body while sleeping" phenomenon and meditation.

The impact of the death of loved ones for Magha is crucial. It's a sign that something significant will be happening or transforming for better or for worse. The best example that I can give is Megan Thee Stallion (her family).

Noel Noa + Bastard München

-you already met most of the German Bastard München players before you went to Blue Lock with them, but never had a proper conversation with any of them

-you travelled to Japan with them but you didn't sit next to any of them in the plane, so you didn't talk to them there either

-Gesner has tried to talk to you on multiple occasions but was held back by his teammates

-the first time you get to meet the entire team, including the Blue Lock players, is on the second day of the Neo Egoist League

-at first, everyone was kind of confused why you're there and what your position is, so they were unsure if they should talk to you

-Kaiser says something mean about you, then Isagi starts defending you (despite not knowing you at all) and basically everyone else defends you as well

-and that concludes your first meeting with the entire team. It was just everyone yelling at Kaiser

Chris Prince + Manshine City

-you already met the English players tons of times and have talked to them every now and then, so the flight to Japan was mainly you and them getting to know each other properly

-the first Blue Lock player you met was Nagi, and he wasn't really interested in actually talking to you. You picked that up as him disliking you so you avoided him and the other Blue Lock players for a week

-but at some point, Reo gets curious about you so he approaches you. You have a short conversation with him and he also clears up your misunderstanding from Nagi

-it doesn't take much longer until you start talking to Chigiri as well and after a bit, you're pretty much besties with the entire team

-even Nagi says talking to you isn't a bother and he feels a little bad for giving you a wrong impression at first

Lavinho + FC Barcha

-because you're so shy, Lavinho already knew it would take a while until you get used to having so many new people around you

-before going to Blue Lock, he introduced the Spanish players to you, and then in Blue Lock he introduced the Japanese players to you

-to his surprise, as soon as you meet Bachira, you lose a part of your shyness and warm up to him pretty quickly. A lot quicker than you did to anyone else

-Bachira becomes your big brother figure in the span of two hours

-in general, FC Barcha is just a big chaotic family and being there is fun every day

Marc Snuffy + Ubers

-this team screams "found family" in every way possible

-you were already very close with the Italian players before coming to Blue Lock, so only the Japanese players are new to you

-Barou shows zero interest in talking to you at first, but you quickly become friends with Niko (mainly due to being very close in age) and then Aryu, Oliver and Sendou

-all of them try to get Barou to give you a chance as well, but he's stubborn. Then the Italian players start bothering as well so he finally gives in

-Barou really wants to deny it, but you remind him of his younger sisters (regardless of your gender) so he kind of treats you that way as well. He will deny it every time someone asks him about it, though

Giving = Words of affirmation, mostly giving reassurance to the person he loves because the fact that he can be someone they find comfort in and can rely on makes him confident in being able to take care of them.

Receiving = Words of affirmation again, but ones that praise him with a genuine sincerity and love. It makes him feel good about himself. Ultimately he just wants someone to rely on as well. Give and take!

Both = Quality time. He just wants to be around someone he can have a genuine nice time with without worrying about it getting boring or being judged. Although he prefers being more active he also doesn’t mind relaxing and joking around, talking about life or things he usually wouldn’t think about alone.

Jay

Giving = Acts of service! He personally feels content and comfortable with knowing no one can take better care of the person he loves better than he himself. It’s not from an egoistic standpoint, it just makes him feel good to be needed. He also might gain happiness from the thought of his loved one being as comfortable in life as possible.

Receiving = Words of affirmation! He likes praises and little things that show that his loved one actually cares about him and wants him around. Like remember his favourite things even if he only mentioned it once and complimenting it, or simply reassuring him when he feels down or nervous.

Both = Physical touch and gifting. Jay is the kind of person who has a lot of love in his heart so he wants to express it as much as possible within the comfort of his person’s boundaries. Giving = Word of affirmation, but rather than in a deep and life changing way he prefers to flirt. He might like to see his loved one blush, even hide their face behind their hand or in his arm/shoulder due to how shy they get. At the end it’s really the reaction that he enjoys, knowing his words have an effect on the person he loves since it means they share the same feelings and they absolutely cannot deny it since their face gives them away.

Receiving = Physical touch. He loves the feeling of just being close to someone without the need for words or sexual tension to be present, but to just innocently share each others bodies with one another. Through cuddling, holding hands, hugging and so on. To him it symbolises trust and he has a lot of appreciation in his heart towards the fact that someone can find so much comfort in him that they feel safe enough to be so close.

He is fine even with sitting next to each other silently, playing games, talking, sharing each others hobbies and so on. Giving = Words of affirmation. He loves to shower the people he loves in compliments and to make them feel special in their skin. He is the kind of person who is very effected by the sadness of the ones around him, so he can easily catch onto when someone is feeling down. Receiving = Quality time! He really loves spending time with people he adores but had a slight preference to going with the flow rather than leading everything in the interaction. Both = Both of the previous ones mentioned. So, quality time and words of affirmation. He doesn’t need a lot to feel loved and would prefer it if he would have a life partner that’s the same. However! He would still really enjoy doing one of a kind things with his loved one such as going to unique places or doing cliche things just because he wants to be able to tell that he did have the experience of doing this special unique thing with the person he loves. Not in a bragging way but perhaps he looks at it as a small privilege in life and it’s his way of showing gratitude.

Jungwon

He doesn’t mind taking the lead either, he loves to make sure that the people around him are not bored. Though he knows when to step back and hear out the other person, so he just really wants both of them to have fun rather than only him. He could also potentially get really excited during quality time.

Both = Physical touch and quality time! Niki probably doesn’t have a third love language, unless you count teasing as one. He seems to find a lot of joy in just experiencing life with his loved ones wether that’s outside or at home, just like Jungwon he is more of an action kinds of person rather than only all talk. This could be something that’s really important to him.

Sypnosis: Sunny had been realizing that real life can become a daydram simply by your presence, how is that possible?

Prompts: "The realization that the hugs they share will never be something that they can reciprocate with someone else" & "Anytime they sit next to one another, they find themselves touching. Shoulders, thighs, knees, their honestly never entirely sure how it happens but have accepted it’s unavoidable."

A/N: I do not take request anymore, yet i would find intresting if you have an idea and you can share it with me. Im sorry this took so long, i have been working a lot. Im also sorry if this turns out to be kind of depressive in some parts, have in mind you will be seeing this mostly from sunny's point of view and i think it would be kind of normal that he would have this kind of thoughts, by the way this is too short and i know, sorry.

Warnings: kind of angst in some parts, very light.

Whenever they sit next to one another, the inevitable brush of their fingertips, the undeniable caress of their shoulders, that feeling of comfort when their thighs touch, and the subtle heat that spreads through their bodies when all contact becomes inevitable, are all as familiar to them as breathing - familiar, and yet unrequited, as a soul tie - Despite the familiarity of these sensations, they remain unrequited due to fear. However, ¿what exactly is fear? ¿How do you explain the feeling that prevents you two from reciprocating each other's embrace?

¿Is it his fault? ¿Is there another factor that becomes a burden when he wants to hold you? He is at the very epitome of human feeling in this moment, he didn't feel that before; Despair and hope at the same time by the same person, yet all you make him feel is hope, in everything. Yet Omori still holds his darkest feelings, desires and thoughts.

Even if he knows that he craves a human tie he finds himself retracting in any way he can from you. ¿what if he does it again? he can't stop thinking about it, but you are just so ethereal that he can't help but be drawn towards you. He is a monster, an assassin, ¿what would you like about him? He loves you, and he hates himself for that. He will corrupt you one way or another, but being with you, oh what a dream when he's with you he finds himself in a fairytale, it's better than the headspace, he can breathe.

Sunny was zoned out, but then he realizes that you were talking, he quickly apologized and asked you nicely to repeat youself as he tilted his head to the side. He was genuelly intrested in what you were saying.

"Im sorry, could you repeat that please?"

He was shaking slightly, ¿what could he do now? He doesnt even know how it really began, he can't tell anything about it else than the burning feeling on his chest and the suddent need to hold you in his arms for days, than the suddent need to protect you, for Omori is a waste of time, for Sunny love is something natual and real, something you make him feel.

He loves your voice, he loves it when its dedicated to him, he loves when he is the person you are looking at, Omori said it was egoistical yet Sunny only finds comfort on the sun that reflects on your eyes, its the only way he doesnt feel the soild falling on his feet, the only way he doesn't feel lost.

Sunny loves you, nobody is going to ever deny that, but oh how wonderfull it would be to tell you just how he loved you, if you only knew what he would do for you. He would do near everything, he just needs a chance, he doesn't ask for much, ¿does he?

He is desperated, clinging to his only ray of hope: You, if you knew you would stay or you would leave? What if you leaved him, what would he do after?... No, you won't leave, he will do whatever you want if you dont leave, he will beg on his knees for you to stay if it is necessary, he won't loose you.

Of all the things to drag me out of art block, I did not expect it to be an EGOIST inspired VBS au. The premise is the kids are in the Kamiyama Student Council but instead of doing normal activities, they end of mentally scared most of the time. Like fighting weird monsters and dealing with shadow people that are all together bad news. They joined in order of oldest to youngest member, and the story is mostly told from Kohane’s point of view.

Among us Batfam fans, not all of us love every single member.

Some of use don't like Jason, Dick, Bruce etc.

And naturally, there are people who don't like Damian. Be it his personality or his difference from the previous Robins. This is perfectly normal, you don't have to like Damian or any other Batfam member. For example, I don't really like Bruce's personality and his treatment of his kids. (Although that's mostly DC's fault not Bruce)

But there are certain types of people in the fandom that just loathes a character. And most of the time, this character is Damian. And as a person whose favorite is Damian, this irritates me to say the least.

People don't like the fact that Damian is different, and in their mind, not what a Robin should be. They think that Robin should be the light to Batman's darkness. Which is problematic on it's own, but I won't get into that.

They don't like his bluntness which is often percieved as rudeness (I know there instances where he is rude on purpose, but most of the time it's just him being brutally honest.)

No matter how much these haters deny it, Damian is very capable. He is very smart both academically and in-life. He's a good strategist. He can get himself out of bad situations as easy as getting himself into one. He bested his mother in combat at the age of 10 to learn the identity of his father. He was able to tell who his father was, just by reading his body language (In which Bruce was in Brucie mode). He can manipulate his voice to sound as whoever He wants. He is brave and almost fearless. He is not afraid of higher authority and has wicked wits.

Of course the haters don't care for any of that. The probably don't even know half of these actually happened. Maybe they never even opened a single issue of a comic.

What they're focused on is: He's rude to the other members, he is the weakest of the Batfam and gets his ass handed to him, he is an egoist and aggressive person, he is unwanted and so on...

And when you point out that what they're saying is just what they think and percieve of Damian, and not real facts or when you try to show them examples of him being good and a capable fighter they just deny it and go back to just hating him for nothing.

Like I said before in the beginning, it's totally okay to not like a character. For example if you're a Tim Drake fan you may not like Damian because he tried to kill Tim or said rude things to him.

But with that you have to acknowledge that Jason did the same thing. He beat Tim in the Titans Tower and tried to kill him in Battle For The Cowl. Or that time when Bruce punched Dick. Or that time when Jason shot Damian. Or when Steph hit Tim on the face with a brick and so on...

We need to understand that the current Batfamily is very disfunctional and often times hurt each other. So hating on a character for attacking your favorite one is kinda dumb because they all fought each other at one point.

And so what is the other reason why people hate Damian? His personality.

Yet again this rant is for the people who hate him almost religiously and can not have a conversation about him without bashing him.

(It's totally okay to not like his character and instead focusing on your favorite characters without having the need to bash him.)

This is not very well known but Damian technically has 3 origins.

1) His first appearance, in which Damian was given up for adoption by Talia the moment he was born. We don't really know anything of this origin so I can't really say anything of this version of Damian. But what I can say is that this version would be a lot different than the canon one and he would just be a normal kid.

What we need to focus on is the other two versions.

2) The version that was/is considered canon which was written by Grant Morrison. This version of Damian was raised in the League by trainers. This Damian did not meet Talia until he was 8 years old. So he was more intense and aggressive than the other 2 versions. This is also the version who tried to kill Tim and brought a severed head to the cave.

Now think of a kid who was raised and brainwashed in this cult where he had to kill people, learn advanced academic lore, train and master in multiple martial arts, learn to be obedient but also respected. Imagine this kid growing up and doing these things without having a single parental figure that showed him an ounce of love. Where everyone he interacts with is either scared of him or is meant to train him brutally to make him the best. Imagine this child not knowing the fact that the reason why he was trained like this is not to become the Demon's Head or an assassin, but to be a vessel for Ra's when his body starts rejecting the pit. This was a kid raised to die while suffering his whole life. This is the kid who was killed by his own mother. A 10 year old child that was sent to Hell.

And the last version:

3) Tomasi's version of Damian Wayne. This Damian has a different backstory than the other two. He was raised in the League just like the second version but with a difference. Talia was there. So although he was raised in this violent cult-like place, he had the (somewhat) love of a mother. There are canonical instances shown to us where Talia tells him stories and so on. This is the version who canonically referred to the other assassins as his brothers. This is the version who cried after killing the Bat Dragons. This the version who cried at the death of Alfred. He is the one who cried for Dick when he was shot.

Excluding the first version, the other two encountered very traumatic things in their lives and as a response grew up to be cold and blunt to survive that kind of environment.

So when a Damian fan responds to questions as to why they stan him despite his personality with "Because he is a child.", they don't really have to say anything else. Because that's what he was.

An abused and traumatised child. And honestly, we don't really need another reason for liking him.

Even Tim -whose some fans hate Damian for what he did to him- tells and believes this.

i just. really appreciate how you portray daddy jack.

i feel like a lot of people think hes flat-out horrible with relationships and treats his partner no differently from the baker’s dozen…

seeing you acknowledge his canon sociopathic traits and villainous ways while also being actually decent if someone catches his interest is really nice…

i mean. yes. i admit part of our relationship is me seeking out as much magic for him as i could. but i like to imagine he appreciates that im going about it on my own and that i stopped expecting payment in return very early on cuz of… how much i love him.

maybe its just me loving the concept of irredeemable monsters having a soft spot, combined with the fact i hate seeing stuff with my comfort characters treating self-inserts/ocs poorly… but yeah…

Well, I must say that I’m always trying(trrryyyyiiin) to stick to canon, but that doesn’t stop me from creating my many hcs based on my vision. And one of them is that Jack really has a soft spot, in fact I just feel so much softness in him no less than cruelty, that makes me think he’d give you such an interesting and various experience in relationships he-heh… It surely wouldn’t be the healthiest ones, but let’s leave them to reality lol I’m here to have fun with a fictional troublemaker <3

Tbh I think he can be caring and loving companion, he can be all nice and sweet to you but it’s better to keep in mind that he’s doing it mostly for his own profit/pleasure. I just cannot deny the main point of his character: he is a greedy egoist. A taker. You just have to accept it if you love him. That doesn’t exclude genuine care, though: I can easily imagine him emotionally attached to someone. But his sick obsession with magic stemming from his giant neurotic ego will prevail in the end. Sad but true. But hey, I think this is the point where we can learn how to value signs of affection from him more :> And enjoy by letting him just being himself bc we love him <3 as for the poor treatment I think you’re free to imagine what you prefer and follow your own vision, I don’t think it's such a necessary thing to experience pain of any kind from him. He’s not some maniac even with his sociopathy… He’s a troubled guy who needs help the most. This is Ra.

Ra is the protagonist of my webcomic currently in development.

Ra is trapped in a magic necklace called the sundial where he is forced to grant the wishes, whims, and pledge his eternal service to whoever wields/wears it, until the next person gets it or whatever. If he does not do what is asked of him, he is typically horrifically (mostly violently) punished by the god he upset by committing a crime he doesn’t even know about. On top of this, he is also cursed into the form of a snake unless the wielder sees him as a person (which is very rare). Not to mention he is unable to consume regular food and drink, and is on a very healthy diet of blood and gold.

The webcomic is split into three parts, each containing twelve chapters (excluding the prologue). The first part details his experience over 12 centuries with different wielders/creatures and how over this time he goes from someone well meaning if not naive (due to loosing his memory) to a self-serving, manipulative, oddly flirty, egoist hell bent on escaping and killing the god (Citanis) who imprisoned him in the first place. The second and third parts following how he goes about such a plan.

The comic is very much a dark fantasy phycological horror, that goes into themes of absurdism, stoicism, cynicism, and existentialism, and the themes of what constitutes as human and “other”. The scripts and story boards are all written out, and page production will be starting on the 24th after my final exams. One thing I will note is that this story has a very different tone to the Love Au (which will still get worked on), it’s far more surrealist and gets kind of nonsensical and trippy at points, and is more obviously a horror story but still with its own quirks. Notably it starts out decently tame, but gets progressively worse as the chapters go on, done to show Ra’s deteriorating mental state and his desperation as things seem to just keep getting worse for him.

I want to rattle on so so much more, but like then there will be spoilers, but here: have some more sketches and concept art 💕💕💕

oopsie here's an unsolicited sae analysis post

Too lazy to add photos so you guys are going to have to survive with just text lmao (warning! long post!!!!)

I feel that sae's biggest issue is his relationship with failure. Like every gifted kid expected to perform, sae has no idea how to react when things don't go his way. Unsurprisingly, he's a control freak (rin says himself that the reason sae chose shidou is because he'd be able to control a "demon" nobody else could) so things always *have* to go his way, and when they don't, he kinda bluescreens almost.

The earliest form of sae failing to accept losses or just being wrong in general is when rin and sae are eating ice cream together. Rin wins and sae loses, but sae instead turns it into rin "losing" and sae "winning" by telling rin that he shouldn't waste his luck on something like that. Yet, it's clear in sae's initial reaction of disgust upon seeing the losing result that he doesn't truly believe that. He just hates losing *that* much and is a stubborn bitch so he then proceeds to never correct this belief over the course of literal years. Sae cannot in any way shape or form accept defeat and grow from it. He is almost like the opposite of isagi. He cannot consolidate and adapt.

Delusion time for a moment: there is kinda no basis for this interpretation, but i feel that the ice cream scene can be applied to sae and rin themselves. What i mean by that is, i believe rin is actually more talented than sae. Some circumstantial evidence for this includes: rin's very first play/moment on the field is him pulling off honestly a crazy move for a toddler who's never played. The smoke effect that represents ego is immediately present as well. Additionally, sae's egoist bible profile includes that he asked santa to show him his yet discovered talent, which then can be interpreted as sae believing he doesn't have talent (vs. rin who does). Or, it could just be sae joking lmao he's a pretty funny dude after all.

Basically, when looking at the itoshi flashback through this lense, a lot of moments are recontextualized. Sae immediately approaches rin after rin first plays and says he'll be the best *after* sae, almost as to reign in rin's talent so he never dreams something beyond what his brother can do. His cruelties could possibly stem from jealousy.

Sae is forced to contend with immense pressure from all around him while rin can mostly play carefree. Sae is japan's greatest treasure and therefore must perform for the sake of his entire country. Rin just obeys his instincts as a child and everything works out. He even mentions after sae leaves for spain that without sae, soccer is restricting essentially because sae paved a path for rin and took on that "restrictiveness" upon himself. So two things rin has that sae doesn't: talent and freedom. This obviously worsens after the spain trip.

(quick aside: cannot believe sae was sent to a foreign country alone that does not 100% love accommodating foreigners for FOUR YEARS. AS AN ADOLESCENT. LIKE THOSE ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT YEARS.)

Now we return to the point of sae being unable to accept failure and such. Unlike what we have seen from the blue lock boys, being faced with the world makes sae cower and fail himself before the world does. He deems being the best striker impossible and switches to midfielder without really trying his absolute hardest in order to become the best. Unable to learn and grow from failure and unable to accept a loss, sae basically self sabotages when he changes his dream. Once again though, sae's stubborn as shit, so when he changes his dream he goes all in on it.

Even still, when sae returns he isn't 100% on the idea. He goes to see rin, likely the first person he sought out after returning, basically just for some validation. After 4 years of being valued for nothing other than soccer, i feel that sae probably just wanted comfort from his brother that isn't really connected to soccer. Rin then proceeds to reject sae's new dream and boom every resentment bottled up between the two explodes.

When sae plays rin, his goal *is* to crush rin's dream like his own was. He desperately wants to prove to himself that his choice to change wasn't wrong by showing up rin, his "more talented" brother. He wins, but isn't happy about it at all.

I think we all know that sae doesn't literally mean what he says when he then tells rin to quit. A lot of it is projection and defense mechanisms. But once again, he cannot accept defeat or admit to wrong doing so he doesn't. And then, again, the stubbornness comes back to prevent him from changing later down the line. Sae still loves rin of course and watches over him in his own way (watch sae's reactions to rin during the u20 match for proof of this), but yeah. Older sibling moment!!! He is never wrong :)))))

This is a pretty old headcanon I had for how Poe was pre-6 years and during the 6 years, and my personal headcanons changed after reading 'To all I've loved, I loved alone' which I basically adopted as mostly canon, but I still think its fun so here it is!

(I was also listening to 'non-stop' when I came up with pre-6 years Poe so that inspired this a bit)

- Poe, as one of the smartest young detectives in America, has never lost a case and has developed an ego. He believes that his word is truth because he's never been proven wrong.

- Poe loses to Ranpo in deduction, and after suffering his first loss, he builds a resentment towards him and sees him as an egoist that mocked him. He's a really sore loser.

- Poe becomes obsessive over getting back at Ranpo. He starts venting by replaying the scenario between them in his novels, then he starts planning ways he could really get back at Ranpo. He wants to prove that he truly is the smarter and better of the two by writing a novel with a mystery Ranpo not only won't be able to solve, but will die when he fails.

(I have a headcanon that Poe can go into his own novels and can act as a part of the story he's written in them)

- Poe spends years with this goal in mind. In his quiter and lonelier moments, he finds comfort in his hate over Ranpo because at least its some form of connection with someone even if it's one sided, and at least its a purpose. With enough time researching Ranpo and his achievements, Poe can't help but admire the man he hates, which fuels him to REALLY want to write better and take him down a notch.

- Poe joins the Guild, and the other members think he's a bit of a freak but they're all freaks so they start found familying eachother, or maybe more like an office comedy with most of them. He gets on with Lucy because of their similarities, even if they butt heads sometimes because of the differences in their personalities, but there's enough similarities for them to form a bond.

- At some point, Poe's obsession over Ranpo leans a little...sexual...and after an accidental mishap in one of his novels he realises that keeping himself isolated while only thinking of his 'rival' probably isn't the best for him, so he makes an effort to actually go out and interact with other people more, not just for work either. Que Guild hangouts.

(the mishap was that he had a novel where he'd written how he'd expected/planned for his confrontation with Ranpo to go, and there was a Ranpo 'character' in this novel. Poe would go into the novel and rehearse what he'd say, and the Ranpo character would respond however Poe assumes the real Ranpo would. He'd been going in this novel every now and then for years, constantly rehearsing and changing the lines where he saw fit. The last time he went in the novel, because his novels and characters respond to how he imagines them to play out, the Ranpo character started coming on to Poe because Poe was internally developing a sexual interest from his obsession that the novel recognised even if he himself didn't want to acknowledge it)

- The Guild prepares to go to Japan to get the Agency's business permit, and Poe finds out that Ranpo is part of the agency. After so many years, he can finally enact his 6 year revenge plan, and he's absolutely freakishly giddy. He seperates from the group, telling them that he'll handle Ranpo himself because its personal. When Poe doesn't come back after his meeting, some assume he might've been unable to outwit the detective and got killed or kidnapped. Meanwhile....

- Poe meets Ranpo again, and realises that he's...actually not much like the Ranpo he's been picturing all these years. And Ranpo doesn't consider him a rival, but an equal, and Poe is between stunned and having a crisis right now. He isolates himself again while the guild finishes their battle, because he's really not sure what to do now the last 6 years of planning did NOT happen as he expected, and the man he'd been obsessed with hating isn't actually that bad??? He's more nervous around Ranpo now, trying to figure him out and still unsure if this is all Ranpo's elaborate trick and that this is what Ranpo has spent 6 years planning on his end.

- After meeting Ranpo again, Poe's obsession turns from hatred to being whipped for him, but it happens too fast to process, and it's not like he hadn't felt this admiration for Ranpo before (even if it's a lot stronger now) so he still thinks these are feelings of rivalry.

So of course this headcanon is old and I don't completely see this as accurate to Poe, Ranpoe, or the Guild dynamic in canon anymore, but I think it's fun in a fanfiction way still.

Hi! I like to read your opinions about eruri, and I like this vast sight you have being there for years. In 2021 – at the very end of the story I started to appreciate in 2015 – I decided to re-watch it and came across a fanart of Erwin and Levi together as a couple (I've never entered the fandom "circles" before, tbh). Well, when I read the manga /watched the anime for the first time, I had an "impression" about their relationship. I never gave them much thought as I was firstly and mostly an Armin supporter and I basically followed the first three seasons because I needed to know what the fuck was going on and I needed to see Armin reach the damn ocean.

Erwin was a character I strongly appreciated given his will to sacrificing his own and his soldiers' lives, his death really touched me though I was relieved that Armin still had a chance to reach his dream.

I didn't really like Levi until the uprising arc, I didn't understand his motivation until I watched No Regrets (I watched it after finishing s3p1). When he first appeared in the story I felt strange about his and Erwin's relationship: Erwin was the Commander but Levi acted freely around him, even disrespecting him, and after a couple of episodes he was "I'll obey Sir". Levi was close with Hanji but even closer with the Commander, and Erwin only spoke "as a peer" to Pixies and Zachary (sometimes) and Levi most of the time.

The "woah" moment was after the uprising arc: Erwin planning rts and Levi begging him to stay safe home, an absurd request tbh: Not Hanji, nor any other Squad Leader proposed anything like that; the Commander had to be there, because he's trusted and more importantly because he represents the SC. So, Levi? This not only was "odd" from a (I'll say) militaristic point of view, but Levi there acted really emotionally. At this point of the story we have seen his more emotional side, we've seen him angry and concerned, but not to this extent.

Then, rts. Levi giving Erwin a reassuring speach, making the choice on his behalf, commanding him to his death. And Erwin's relieved smile, his "Thank you". This was a peak moment, it showed complete trust (we also knew that Levi trusted Erwin completely, but the other way around is truly showed here), it showed the deep comprehension Levi has about the Commander, it showed Levi's ability to sacrifice his own feelings for what's best for humanity and Erwin.

The serum-bowl was just the culmination of it. It was the "emotional" side of Levi's previous logical choice. He wants to save Erwin so badly there, and not because he is the Commander, but because he didn't want him to die in the first place (Levi's egoistic feeling). He's about to give him the serum, the choice is made, and it is the best choice for humanity, the choice Hanji and other Commanders would make, the choice that will take Erwin back (and it's so clear that this is what Levi wants). But at the very end, Levi changes his mind, not out of any logical reason, or rational thought. He decides to let his friend rest because it'd be the best choice for Erwin and Erwin alone (or at least, in Levi's understanding of him).

Last but not least, Erwin's death affected Levi terribly. I usually dislike "revenge arc", but his was so well built and motivated that I appreciated it. His promise is the only fuel left to Levi to moves forward. It's a sad and heartbreaking end, but it puts emphasis on the importance of his relationship with Erwin.

Re-watching AoT gives you the possibility to focus on its nuances; it's a complex story and for people like me (not usually interested in the romance, but in the most dynamic and action side) it's easy to miss some details.

I personally like the absence of huge romantic sub-plot. I like how the relationships between the characters are described trough little details, ways of talking to each other, choices that can be read as ambiguous at some times. Or, this is true for the "adults", the 104th are kids and mostly act like kids "repressed" by their military role and the cruel circumstances of their world.

When it comes to Hanji, Miche, Moblit, Levi, Erwin, it's different. They are soldiers and put duty beyond their personal feelings. I love how their relationships are built. And I do consider Erwin and Levi relationship one of the strongest in AoT, and one of the most healthy too. Forgetting the hcs, the theories, or even what VAs, animators etc said, I think that it's undeniable the depth of their bond, and the fact that it is - at least - platonic love. To me it's clear as the sky that Levi loved Erwin (not necessarily in a sexual way) and it's clear that he was reciprocated, in a more subtle way because Erwin is a character literally broken by his guilt, split between his selfish side and his selfless one.

The rest of it is mostly hc, though some theories really are plausible and I love the fanon exploration of them trough fics and fanarts.

This long post just because I wanted to express what to me it's a fact and not a theory, that in the complex and not so easy identification and classification of what a relationship between two humans is, that between Erwin and Levi falls in the large range of "Love". And not the love and affection one usually has for a dear friend. It's deeper, it's familiar. It's the bond you have with someone you want to become family with. (Just to mention, Mikasa's "you're family" it's so powerful to me, it's a good choice of words that Eren misunderstood imo). This is why I don't feel the need (tough I like the fun, absolutely) of searching proofs and making up scenarios of a love story that is just there. I don't need Isayama to state that Levi and Erwin would have gotten married, circumstances permitting. They already have a strong, dedicated and wholesome bond that accompanied Erwin to his last, painful years and gave him peace at the very end; and complimentary, the same bond gave Levi hope and aim when he needed it and – sadly – affected him so badly that he lived so many years in grief (maybe all his remaining years). Tell me this is not what a loving relationship/marriage looks like.

Thank you so much for sharing this Anon ♡ There’s honestly very little I can add to this. You’ve expressed eloquently why Erwin and Levi’s relationship is so important and so compelling. Regardless of shipping, their relationship, and the bond of trust they share, is pivotal to the story, particularly from the Uprising Arc onwards.

One of the things I’ve always loved about SnK, which you’ve touched on here, is that Isayama is actually very good at writing compelling, and compellingly complex, adult relationships. Like you said, we don’t need any other “proof” of the depth of Erwin and Levi’s relationship, it’s all there in black and white in the manga. The supplementary materials, the guidebooks, the interviews, the Smartpass stories all add colour but they don’t change the fundamental nature of their relationship. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this to me is what a deeply committed adult relationship looks like. It needs no more elaboration.

Kaveh story quick summary

(for myself mostly, but if someone doesn't want to read all and everything then yeah, here is the shorter version)

Story 1:

Nothing out of the things we would already know. He works hard, he got in debt and hides it quite well because he's bound by all the titles how other people perceive him.

Story 2:

He feels guilty that his father died and that his mother has been miserable ever since. After she left too, he's been lonely, and these feelings kept him up all night. This guilt was what made him so compassionate - he doesn't want people to be harmed by his actions, like his parents were.

>>He cannot accept pure goodwill, for when he makes choices, he believes that he should be punished, and finds some comfort in the pain.<<

I think he sacrificed the house on purpose and then decided himself to pay rent.

Story 3:

Tells about the beginning of his career after graduation and his first hardships in a professional manner.

It was also after he graduated that art has been treated as lesser compared to academics. Various of his beautifying suggestions were laid off because they weren't necessary. He doesn't agree with any of these, though.

His mother married again in Fontaine, and he was present there, she was happy, and he was happy for her and because she wasn't miserable anymore.

The mere act of sitting on the sofa tormented him with heretofore unmatched solitude. Here, he felt the old adage of all wise scholars being fulfilled: "Do the right thing, no matter what it costs you."

Story 4:

It is about how Dori commissioned him, and it sounds as if this project saved him. He was allowed to do ANYTHING, all the artistry and that.

They were almost done, but then the Withering came and destroyed everything. Kaveh begged Dori to let him finish it. And paid for it from his own pocket. Story 5:

Alhaitham might not be younger than Kaveh - he enrolled later in age than other's (and exactly 2 years after Kaveh, so another point for me for the 2 years difference, even if not for certain in age, then in their classes at least).

It just says about how they met (in a library), started working together and were so smart and so goo, nobody could keep up with them. So Kaveh was trying to help the others who were doing this project with them.

As Alhaitham liked to put it, certain matters have their upper limit determined by talent and their lower bound determined by hard work. Ordinary people and geniuses would be separated by various practical realities, and they did not have to force themselves to fit into a group they did not belong to. Kaveh, however, was resolute in his belief that this was all the result of obstacles that appeared during the process, and that wisdom should be uncovered by many people.

That's what first caused a conflict between them, and I have to say, this one is hard to overcome. Especially if they are both bloody smart people, and both very stubborn.

Kaveh maintained that Alhaitham was too much of an egoist (...) Alhaitham for his part pointed out that Kaveh's impractical idealism was just a flight from reality, and that it would come to be a burden on his existence someday, and the source of Kaveh's altruism was naught but his inescapable sense of guilt.

Pointing back to the Story 1 because he's so right for that. So right, that this was precisely why they parted. And were criticizing each other's works. Kaveh was also forced to face the reality all over again, as yet another of his projects failed due to financial reasons.

As a genius, Kaveh longed to belong in a crowd, subconsciously fearing separation from it — this was the difference between him and Alhaitham.

Putting it here because this exact trait of Alhaitham is what stuck with me when I first read his stories.

Fast-forward to the present times:

He was sleeping in a tavern and once even passed out after one bottle. That's where he met Alhaitham again. And that's where he told him about all his problems.

Alhaitham then takes him home.

Knowing full well that Alhaitham never did perform a good deed unconditionally, Kaveh would be plagued by guilty conscience and proactively mention helping with household chores, only to become saddled with all the domestic errands… These might be an annoyance for someone at a low point in life, but they are also proof the most unshakable part of one's past is a friend that will never change.

Rationality and sensibility, language and architecture, knowledge and human feelings… Things that can never be integrated are what constitute the two sides of the mirror — indeed, of the entire world.

Girls night! With the boys

-prior to the entire thing, Aryu wrote an entire list of which products you and the other assistants had to buy

-it's a bit of an odd combination, but you really didn't know who to invite to this. But they're all rather calm people, so everyone gets along!

-Mao has a bit of lesbian panic when Anri touches her hair

-Aryu has a little fangirl moment when he gets to touch Chigiri's hair

-Claire does NOT hesitate to say the vilest, deranged, insane things you have ever heard. But it always makes you burst out in laughter

-A LOT of platonic flirting throughout the entire night. Especially between Mao and Aryu

-besides the platonic flirting, a lot of compliments!!! Most of them are from Aryu as well

-you, Claire and Hiori talk about your favourite video games! But that quickly gets interrupted when Chigiri is like "By the way guys, did you hear Reo and Nagi-" and EVERYONE in the room gasps

-Chigiri tells you everything he knows. And that's how everything turned into a gossip night

-Aryu probably tells a lot about what it was like to be teammates and roommates with Rin during the second selection, so then everyone starts gossiping about Rin

-also, Aryu can't help but complain about Lorenzo's hair. BECAUSE THAT SHIT GREASY AF

-Hiori is mostly silent, but then Claire mentions Kaiser and suddenly Hiori goes on a rant about him for five minutes without a break. That obviously leads the conversation into gossiping about Kaiser, Ness and Isagi. You make jokes about them being a weird love triangle

-you guys made a tierlist on how babygirl the Blue Lock players are (Barou is on the top, Igaguri at the bottom)

-you forget about the time, so at some point, Ego knocks at the door and when he enters the room, it's one of the most confusing things he's ever seen

-Claire half-jokingly asks if he wants to join (of course he doesn't)

-when Ego leaves again, Anri starts talking about the work she always has to do for Ego. Everyone agrees that Ego is a manchild who can't take care of himself (Mao's father complex is (not so secretly) triggered by Ego but she's all in on joking about him)

-Anri wants to know what working with the coaches is like, so you, Claire and Mao tell every story you've got in mind. Like that one time Snuffy heard you and Claire calling Barou and Lorenzo babygirl? Or that one time Mao (purposely) called Lavinho "dad" and had to play it off as a joke? Dropping all of those stories to the group lets go

-at some point, the gossiping somehow turns into deeptalk. That doesn't last too long because everyone has to return to their rooms

-it was a very fun night!! Something you're definitely going to repeat if given the chance
