“On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your pain?” - Baymax “Physical or emotional?” - Hiro I had the most difficult time choosing a theme for this month because September is usually kind of a chill month, not much going on and not too many holidays to be celebrated (besides Labor Day). So I was stumped which Disney movie fit this month. Big Hero 6 was a movie that came into my mind the most because I was thinking about how it deals with loss and depression, and during this pandemic many of us have already experienced this. I recently experienced this a few weeks ago when it dawned on me that I haven’t seen my friends in person in a very long time and I haven’t been to my favorite places to hang out since the pandemic started. I found myself completely lost and exhausted and the only thing that comforted me was playing video games and Skyping with my friends every chance I got. So if many of you wondered why I haven’t posted any drawings in a while, that is why. Big Hero 6 dealt with heavy topics that was easy for kids to understand and adults could relate to it. The movie reminds us that loss and depression is real and that it is extremely important to pick ourselves back up when we are ready to venture out into the world again and be surrounded by our friends and loved ones. In this case for all us, we surround ourselves with loved ones online so please do me a favor and check on that friend or family member of yours you haven’t spoken to in a while. I am sure you will make their day with a simple text or phone call. I consider Big Hero 6 to be one of the best Disney Marvel films of our generation and it really deserved the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. If you still haven’t seen it and have Disney Plus, I think it is high time that you do. And on a side note, I give props to the actress who voiced Honey Lemon who pronounced Hiro’s name correctly. Everyone else mispronounced it lol. . . . . . . #bulletjournal #myart #bighero6 #disney #disneyfanart #baymax #baymaxbighero6 #leuchtturm1917 #pigmamicron #tombowdualbrushpens #september2020 #mybulletjournal #disneyheroes #marvel #marvelcomics #marveluniverse #marvelfanart #elvenwarriorart https://www.instagram.com/p/CFw6uZ6J51b/?igshid=euj8hf5xfo94
My (kinda old) spread for my finals week mid-December. I decided to feature my two pups to help me relieve some stress. 💕Luckily I ended the semester with all As!
So this is part of the brain dump section of my journal - I really love the post-its on there (the computer ones and the Instagram-looking one). Try and ignore how bad my handwriting is in this picture lol 😆 . . . . . . . #bulletjournal #bujo #bujoinspiration #bulletjournaling #journaling #bulletjournals #bulletjournaladdict #bujoaddict #showmeyourbujo #bujoaddicts #bujocommunity #bujocommunity #mybujo #mybulletjournal #journalgram #braindump #bujoinspiration #bujosetup #bujospread #journalspread #bujoideas https://www.instagram.com/p/B2sIfQ-FQ_-/?igshid=vnnvpzdeq6lt
Self love is such an important thing! People may be rude and say horrible things to you but being kind to yourself never goes out of style!
I created this spread to promote self love in my own life! I was inspired by the Bachelorette and the 14 time Tony nominated musical Hadestown. In both shows, flowers are a symbol of love and (specifically Hadestown) a symbol of following your heart. In the spirit of these shows, I used roses as symbols of self love.
I decided to scatter 12 flowers across the page which I am going to write reminders to myself. I can look back on these roses whenever I am feeling low!
The biggest thing to remember about loving yourself is that you are going to have rough days but you must take each day and do your best!
June is Citrus themed! I have been so busy since school ended and I thought I would take the time to make these spreads PERFECT. I really like how they turned out :)
June and my WHOLE summer is going to be hecka busy, I have things going on everyday!
Anyways, happy June! 🍊🍋
P.S. thank you for over 300 notes on my May spreads, that’s amazing!
Guys... 2019 is the year. It’s my end of freshmen, beginning of sophomore high school years, and where I live being a freshman is still in middle school, so this year I’m starting high school, I’m gonna read tons of books, I’m going to shoot for maintaining my 4.0 or at least like a 3.8 or 3.9, and I’m actually gonna bullet journal this year. Now I realize it’s the first week and everything, and things could totally change, but I honestly see how I’m doing things right now working out really well. Maybe I’m not a pro at everything, but I’m trying, and I’m doing good. I wish the absolute best to anyone out there who just isn’t feeling it, or even people who are also doing really well, just hang in there with me and we’re gonna do fine.
So long #january2019 ... twas a good start to the New Year. All month was about cleaning, purging, organizing and just recharging the vibes in our home, in our schedules and our lives in general. 7 Rules to a Better Bullet Journal: Part Two Welcome to the next post in my seven rules series! Today, we're talking about supplies - but maybe not in the way you think. There are many stereotypical BuJo supplies that we just tend to assume everyone else uses and that we have to as well, especially those of us who post pictures of our journals. I say fuck that! Use what YOU want - you're the one who makes your journal amazing, not a bunch of paper, tape, glue, stickers, or markers. Bored? Doodle with your lucky pencil. Kinda bummed out? Make a cool design from washi tape! Is a page just too monotonous? Add stickers! On the other hand: Not sure how to fill the blank areas of your pages without the afforementioned stereotypical items? Grab your crayons and draw! Print out some coloring pages to paste in! Make some abstract designs with your trusty pencil, a ruler, and a cup! Do you, homie. It's not a contest (even when it feels kinda like one). Again, REMINDER: My giveaway contest closes in a few hours at 5pm central standard time. Be sure to go to the giveaway's original post and follow the instructions to enter if you haven't already! . . . . . . . #bulletjournal #bujo #bujoinspiration #bulletjournaling #journaling #bulletjournals #bulletjournaladdict #bujoaddict #showmeyourbujo #bujoaddicts #bujocommunity #bujocommunity #mybujo #mybulletjournal #journalgram https://www.instagram.com/p/B3CqnaaBumM/?igshid=1f18klct131cn
Oh my nuggets, I’m finally doing it!!! Ever since I was really young, I was different from my peers. They were into tv shows, video games, the latest trend, and I just enjoyed going to school and the sight of stationary. I remember when I was 14, I thought I had some sort of disease cause I was different from everyone else. That is until I came across studyblrs. I felt like I finally belonged but..... I was too afraid to join the community. Welp, not anymore! I want to express my passion for stationary, and help to guide others to have a bright future(this sounds so cliche). Anyways, here are ten things about me;
1. My name is Jasmin(without an E) and I was born on Mexican Mother’s Day
2. I like to listen to Lofi hip-hop, oldies, classical, and a lot of Dodie and Jasmine Thompson ( you should check them out )
3. I play piano, guitar, and a recorder (yes peeps, A RECORDER), and I also like to sing ( I’m decent)
4. I started bullet journaling November of 2017, and I finally feel comfortable with the themes and setups I have done
5. I play jv badminton, it’s fun
6. My favorite subject is math....ik, I’m weird
7. I’m a softmore in high school
8. I’m getting into minimalism
9. I’m sorry but I love the twilight series, I have all the books and movies (send help)
My September spreads! I think that this theme is so cute, I love it so much :) it has a minimal Autumn vibe that really calm on the eye! I can tell that my fall themes are going to be my favorite. I LOVE FALL! ❤️🍂🍁
