Mythology AU post no one asked for!

In this AU, all of the animatronics are creatures based on folklore and mythology and are a mix of things that are obvious choices and not so obvious. The characters all live in a forested mountain that humans have yet to learn how to scale and any attempts to do so are typically thwarted by those that live there if not by their inability to climb it in the first place.

So what is everybody?

Freddy is an escaped circus bear. I couldn’t find any interesting mythological bears so he gets more of a backstory to him than the others do. He’s a regular bear that escaped from the Fazbear Circus that was held at the foot of the mountain, possibly unintentionally freed by a certain pair of reckless flyers we’ll get to in a minute. He saw his chance and ran for the hills, still wearing his circus neck ruffles and what not. He just happened to scale a bit of the mountain and make some magic friends that just kinda picked him up and decided he’s their friend now. He is very happy about this arrangement because honestly fuck the Fazbear Circus.

Bonnie is a Wolpertinger (or a Jackalope. I’ve been alternating on this lately) and that means he is a rabbit/hare, with antlers and wings. He was born and raised on these mountains or the mountain adjacent maybe and lives in a really big warren. Also possibly has fangs? I will leave that to interpretation.

Chica is a gryphon, a mix of big cat and big bird. She’s a mix of leopard and kinda chicken I guess and is one of the reckless flyers that may have freed Freddy from the circus. She’s very close with everyone and can make a fun collection of both bird and leopard noises.

Foxy was supposed to not be a kitsune but the best I could find for him was a Chinese Fox Spirit so that is what he is. Got a bunch of tails and does cool paranormal stuff. His tricks only escalate in this AU he can do so much more stuff now. Still has a fun accent though because I said so and its fun

Monty is a Western dragon so not the serpent kind. Can breathe fire and is a very strong flyer. He’s from a different mountain and is a bit of a wanderer in the Gatorbun fic. He’s got horns and his scales aren’t as protective as they probably should be. Also has a big fluffy red mane and deep green and yellow scales with an extra tuft of fluff at the end of his tail.

Roxy is an Aralez, which is an unspecified dog with wings, said to be able to revive people left on the mountains by licking their wounds to heal them. The most obvious option would have been a hellhound but I found this and thought it would be much more interesting and handy in plots. She’s the other reckless flyer that possibly freed Freddy from the circus and like Chica, is always getting caught up in human traps here there and everywhere. She’s either a winged wolf or a winged husky or something it doesn’t particularly matter she’s still Roxy whether she be a domestic dog or a wild one.

Sunny and Moon are both Cat-sìth's. One blesses those that are nice to them and the other causes problems on purpose. Sometimes they switch for fun. They’re basically just extra fun cats that can do cool things like Foxy can.

DJ Music Man is the equivalent of the Loch Ness Monster. He’s this big ass water monster that lives in the lake on this mountain and the minis are his little sea serpent buddies. He made friends with Freddy, Chica or Roxy who fell in the lake maybe and now the group hang out more at the lake and sing together. DJ doesn’t speak so they nickname him Melody because he loves playing melodies on big conch shells and stuff. All the little serpents have similar nicknames too.

Vanessa is a cabbit which is apparently a mix between a rabbit and a cat. I chose this mostly because I didn’t know it was a thing and it sounded fun. I also wanted to include her so here she is! A cabbit!

Humans - particularly the Fazbear Circus - are always trying to catch an actual rare creature and not just a big ol’ bear so they set up a lot of traps to catch them much closer to the foot of the mountain. Which is why the number one rule is not to go down the mountain. This is often ignored by many of the flying creatures.

This is just a fun lil AU I’ll dabble in every so often because its fun so I thought I’d make a little post about it. Enjoy!

He would have killed anyone else who stumbled into his cave, who trespassed on his turf. However, there’s just something about the innocence behind those wide eyes that has him second guessing whether he should off you or not.

The way you fumble to step back, yet still keeping your orbs fixed on him, it honestly amuses him. He doesn’t even remember the last time he laughed so genuinely.

He decides that he will not kill you. He can’t just let you go either. No, he decides he will keep you and make you his mate.

He’s good at playing the long game. You know how he loves his games. He knows it’s necessary when it comes to you. He’s quite the passionate snake, taking the mantra “she will learn to love me” to heart.

It’s understandable, really. He has kept you from your village, what you’ve known for all of your life. Now, he has thrust upon you a new way of living.

Based on what we see of him in MHA, he is very caring and looks out for his people, for those who work for him, for those who put their lives on the line for his cause. I can’t help but think he’d do the same for you.

He loves you so much and sees you as the woman of his dreams. He now knows why he’s been so bitter in the past. It’s because he hasn’t had you in his life until now.

Shiggy is BIG on cuddles. He wraps the end of his tail around your ankle, pulling you closer and closer to him until you’re plush against the softness of his underbelly. He coils himself around you, wrapping you up until you’re safely in his arms.

Another thing he is big on is providing for you. When he hunts, he puts a large boulder in front of the cave’s entrance. That way, he doesn’t have to worry about you leaving. Hunting is something he absolutely loves to do. He loves to see the full bellied, satisfied look in your eyes. He views feeding you as a special gift. He wouldn’t do it for just anyone. He only does it for you.

The Shigster is prone to fits of rage when things don’t exactly go his way. He threatens to eat you a lot. It always works because he’s so unpredictable that you don’t really know if he’ll do it or not. Either way, you just don’t want to make him angry and face whatever kind of punishment he has brewing in his mind.

Shiggy Shigs LOVES to play games with you, especially Find My Love. It’s a game where he lets you run far from the cave, giving you a pretty good amount of time as he closes his eyes, crosses his arms, and lets you run off. He always ends up finding you, using his tongue to sniff you out as well as his acute nose. This way, you get to release some steam and touch grass while he gets to show you how much he loves you by tracking you down and tackling you. 🫠

I imagine Yan!Naga Shigaraki resembles a blue coral snake (or blue Malayan coral snake) with his bottom half from hips to tail.

The blue coral snake has blue scales mixed into the outer characteristics as well as sporting a red head, red tip, and red underside. The red reminds me of Shigaraki’s eyes. Though he wouldn’t have a red head, because his hair would still be blue and his face would still be the same color as in the show, I think the tip of his tail and underside would match the same red hue as his eyes. This particular snake also has what is known as “a unique kind of venom that most snakes don’t have” (Bouchard, Blue Coral Snakes Have Venom Unlike Any Other Snake). Because of Shigaraki’s unique and deadly quirk, I feel this is the most befitting characteristic for him. Not only is the venom lethal, it’s fast acting just like his quirk.

I’m bored and tired and procrastinating on what I should be doing. So here’s a list of random First headcanons

Orville was his best friend ever since he could remember. Their families were neighbors, so they knew one another well. When First’s parents died (he was about ten) Orville’s family took him in and the boys became like brothers.

First always had a strong sense of morality and a whole lot of bravery. He frequently stuck up for Orville at school and was known for helping random people for no apparent reason.

He entered the army as soon as he was old enough and fought courageously for Hyrule as captain of the royal force for multiple years before his imprisonment.

His loyalty made him a favorite of the royal family until…well you know

He is generally quiet and serious (though he never hesitates to speak his mind when he feels it’s necessary), but around those he is close to he can be quite outgoing and even silly (Hylia loved that side of him)

Hylia gave him the Master Sword long before his final battle. He was the first mortal Fi ever knew. They worked well together, though their conversations were always rather snarky. (“There is a one hundred percent chance this will fail.” “Why thank you Fi, I appreciate the confidence you have in me.”) Despite their banter, they cared deeply for each other. Fi thinks of him as her very first friend.

When he and Hylia’s relationship got serious, First thought long and hard about how he might propose to her. The final plan included a ring he discovered in the depths of Death Mountain (he beat a mogma to it), their favorite little nook in Faron Woods, and a speech pledging his loyalty to Hylia for life. Orville teased him about the speech, saying that Hylia just wanted him, not his dramatics.

He was obsessed with loftwings as a child. Then, they were mainly mythological creatures, as the gods took an off-hand approach and no one ever saw them. But he always believed they were real. His side of he and Orville’s bedroom was covered in loftwing drawings. When Orville learned to carve, he would make little loftwing carvings for him as birthday presents. One was small enough that First could wear it on a cord. He wore it until the day he died.

Everyone pretty much accepts that his spirit animal is a lion. But First’s spirit longs for freedom as much as it fights for what is right. So when he touches Twilight’s shadow crystal he becomes a griffin.

Another AU of ourselves lol

A medusa au with Feral as medusa (youll see myself in a different drawing)

The backstory as to how it happened is the same, the only difference being that it wasnt Poseidon but an unnamed demigod (gods and other creatures obviously exist its not just greek but all religions and creatures)

She appears more like a naga then the human faces short thick tailed gorgon is due to the fact that she is first gen druid, magic is in her body and altered the change to be more like that of an animalistic naga than the humanoid gorgon

Tarik (me lol) is a 3rd water druid the only things he got out of it is a strong swimming ability, larger lung capacity, longer life span, and a emotional understanding of animal (he can “talk” to them but only thru emotions but it requires focus)

He’s of course trans lol, his transition was helped by a lovely Egyptian chaos goddess (Gamma my beloved) who also provided him with a few tattooed charms one that allows his body to change to his desired sex and maintain it, as well as a tattoo of luck and protection (hes a trouble magnet lol) so the protection spell protects him from Edrasi’s stone gaze, but took them a few years to figure out lol

At least until they learn she can in fact turn the gaze on and off

Shes also been around for like 2 centuries and Tarik is like 30 but the long life span helps with looking young longer

Hey look! It’s my Gatorbun Week fic!

I used the prompts AU, Comfort and First Meeting for this and the AU is one where they’re all mythological creatures that live in the mountains since most of them can fly.

Bonnie is a wolpertinger, Chica is a gryphon, Roxy is an aralez and Monty is a Western dragon. You only really see Bonnie, Roxy and Monty until Chica shows up at the end but still. She’s there.

Anyway! Warning! Someone fucking dies! It’s okay, I fix that but at some point someone really does die so um... be careful if you’re sensitive to that and blood and shit!
