“UGH! Get me the new Alexander Mcqueen Bag Dorota!” Blair Screeched at her loyal servant, the latter muttering a meek ‘Yes, Miss Blair’ and hurrying away. Blair Waldorf, the “mean girl” of Constance and self-proclaimed Queen of the Upper East Side was, according to her throwing the “hottest party” in the whole year. ‘Hey B!’ Serena Van der Woodsen, the “it girl” of New York waved to her best friend, running forward and hugging her tightly, ‘I am so happy that you came back from Europe!’ she declared. Blair scoffed while striking names off the invite list, ‘Well, after Chuck ditched me at the airport I decided to take a girl's trip and travel around Europe anyway!’, She put the list down and walked over to the massive tables full of entreès and delicately put one in her mouth, Serena following her, Blair continued, ‘Anyways, enough about my broken love life, what's the gossip I’ve been hearing on you and Nate?”. Serena looked panicked, “There’s absolutely nothing going on between us! I haven’t dated anyone the entire summer!’ She said proudly, Blair paused and looked at Serena, ‘Wait- S, are you telling me you’ve gotten zero action for the ENTIRE Summer?!’. Serena shrugged, ‘Maybe, well there was that one hot lifeguard-’, Blair looked excited, ‘And....?’, ‘I rejected him’. Blair’s face fell, ‘Seriously S?, I’m gone for one summer and-’. Serena shook her head, ‘Wait! Before you launch into one of your speeches, I've got a surprise for you!’, She sang happily, Blair raised her eyebrows, ‘And what might that be May I ask?’. Serena grinningly thrust a letter into her hand, ‘Read it!’ She said. Blair rolled her eyes,

I wasn’t sure if you would remember me, but it’s Charlotte, from junior year. I hope you do! Anyways I’m coming back to Constance this year! I could not be more excited to meet you all again! Maybe we could meet up a few days before school starts? Let me where you are. Well Adios for now! Do tell Blair, Nate and Chuck I said hi!(especially Nate)

Blair’s eyes widened, ‘Charlotte, the Charlotte is coming back?’ She questioned excitedly, Serena nodded grinning brightly. ‘I already sent her the invite to your party, if that's cool with you? She said that she’ll come.’ Blair smiled, ‘Definitely!’ ‘Wait! Should we tell Nate?’. She asked Serena looking at the letter, ‘Maybe it should be a surprise.’ Blair nodded, starting a conversation about party favours.

‘I’ve been waiting for this all day.’ Nate muttered, biting her lip, ‘You sure Serena’s okay with covering for you? She was a little cold.’ Catherine said rubbing herself against Nate, ‘Oh she’s totally fine.’ he said closing his eyes and leaning in, ‘But you haven’t told her anything?’ Cathrine questioned pulling Nate for a chaste kiss, He shook his head, ‘All she knows is I’m seeing someone new...I’m not ready to introduce to anyone yet.’ She pulled away, pushing Nate behind and looking at him with a stern look in her eyes, ‘Or ever.’ He finished. ‘Look, she needed time to decompress from her breakup anyway,’ Nate kissed her, ‘Covering for me works for her too.’ A car whizzed by the one they were in, Catherine looked alarmed, ‘Let’s go back to my place before anyone spots us.’ Nate raised his eyebrows, ‘Your House?’ She grinned, nodding, ‘I thought we couldn’t.’ She smiled at him, ‘There’s always the guest house’. Nate chuckled pulling her in for another kiss.

‘Okay, how do I look?!’ Blair asked twirling around for Serena to see, She smiled ‘Gorgeous as always B.’ She remarked Blair turned around adjusting her iconic bejewelled headband, ‘How do you think She looks now?’ She asked Serena, ‘I don’t think she might have changed too much,’ Serena shrugged. ‘Probably’ Blair agreed. Looking in the mirror, ‘Excuse me?’ She asked a random saleswoman, ‘Can I get this in white?’, The woman nodded and walked towards the display to get it off the mannequin. ‘This dress is perfect for my party!’ She squealed excitedly clapping her hands. Serena smiled, ‘Now that you’re done can we go look for my dress?’, Blair grinned ‘I’m sure I can take out a few minutes of my valuable time to go look for your dress.’ She said, Serena laughed and grabbed Blair by her shoulders, ‘We are getting out now!’. With that the two girls walked out laughing.

The day of the white party was a complete disaster..... at least it was according to a certain Charles Bass, famously known as Chuck Bass. Blair had asked him if he loved her the day he had met James, Blair’s seemingly “perfect” boyfriend and he had stupidly kept his big mouth shut and made her cry. Showing up to the White party had been a pain in his arse, especially when he saw Blair making out with her new boyfriend who had supposedly gone to “Georgetown”. And then something worth the attention of Chuck Bass happened, He saw Charlotte Jackson, also known as the one who disappeared after Junior year, staring at Serena Van der Woodsen having a spit-swapping session with Nate Archibald. Chuck grabbed a glass of white wine off a tray smirking, ‘Well, that’s going to be fun...’ with that he sauntered off towards an awestruck Charlotte.

It took some time for the two of you to finally get together, as you were worried about Blair’s reaction, but she ended up being supportive, since you were happy.

He loves spoiling you but hates when you spoil him. He’ll buy you anything you want or ask for but as soon as you spend even a dollar on him, he’ll insist on paying you back or buying you something in return.

His favourite date with you isn’t some expensive restaurant, he just loves when he gets to come over to your house and order takeout while watching a movie.

That being said, he doesn’t mind going out to a fancy place if you ask. Of course, he insists on paying though.

Whenever he’s having family issues and needs to get away, he always goes to you for comfort and a place to stay until he’s back on his feet.

Speaking of family issues, even though he doesn’t always know how to voice his appreciation, you’re always there to step up and defend him against his father or anyone else whenever he can’t.

Your family adores him and constantly asks about him, he’s literally the most respectful boyfriend you could’ve asked for.

Nate definitely loves wearing couples costumes during Halloween or having a sleepover and wearing matching pyjamas during Christmas, even though he pretends it’s silly.

Dan and Serena -> 9

Fav couple, mastermind, endgame. Dan fucked up so many times I cant give them a 10 so we'll settle for 9. I can't forget the first season chemistry just YES. Wished for the ending to have been a little more explained: the Gossip Girl thing was pointless and messy and very much simplified.

Blair and Chuck -> 8 Enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers to enemies to... The definition of "love is scary"; have rooted for them since day one! Soulmates honestly; very weird couple but it works for them so who are we to judge? ^_^

Nate and Vanessa -> 7 Don't like both so it's fair, kinda cute together I'll give them that. In a strange way it works so, I'll say If Nate had to end up with someone it should have been either Vanessa or Jenny.

Rufus and Lily -> 6

Would have been cute if the whole thing was not absolutely weird with Dan and Serena being together. I think they're soulmates even if they've been very selfish with their children; still should've ended up together. Mixed feelings on this one.

Nate and Jenny -> 4 I despised jenny so much I couldn't stand her, really, have to admit though that she and Nate were cute but never really understood the age gap and how they never really gave it a shot.

Serena and Nate -> 4 I don't get how people say they're endgame; Nate sure has always been madly in love with Serena but she surely has not. Strongly believe it never worked out for them because Serena didn't even try and I can't blame her honestly (so boring ugh).

Blair and Nate -> 2 Pointless really: Nate never even liked queen B while she forced herself to be with him only for status and image. It's how it all started though so it's cool, I guess(?).

Dan and Blair -> -1

Throwing up, honestly the worst part of the story line, still cringing. I will fight whoever says they're cute; strongly believe they were both high during it all. If I were Serena I would have absouloutly throw fists with this one and then slept with Chuck :).

Dan and Vanessa -> 4 Super lame, super boring. God please save us from boredom.

- They did everything together, and it made them seem like they were in love

- Since she was around Obie more, she was around Aki and Audrey and Max more. Frances would be around alot, made the self a little group

- Around new york, Obie invited you and your brother to the Quaint weekend house

- The whole weekend, Obie and CJ shared the same room

- When the twins walked in, everyone was just getting there

- It was a fun and relaxing

- Everyone got along and had fun, Frances was flirting with Luna and Obie had you mostly to himself

- Julien felt some way but wanted him to be happy. But not with you

- CJ helped around the house, had the grow make cookies and spend time together, Obie was falling more and more in love

- And on new year, they were each other new year kiss

- After that, everyone loved them. Obie was happy

- GG would post things on IG

- When GG posted it, It really didn't hurt the twins. Just hated it now that people knew their business more then the should

- But what the found out was not about CJ, but about her twin

- Once GG posted it, know saw the twins for over 3 to 4 weeks

- CJ and Frances were close, not like Grace closes but they were best friends

- Once France was ready to come back to school, So was CJ.

- And CJ had a bad feeling about the group, had a feeling that someone was out for her

Carter Baizen always enjoyed riding in the back of limousines. The secrecy behind the dark tinted windows excited him. He was closed off to the outside world and he enjoyed it. There was no one to spy on him. No family, friends, or any of the Gossip Girl drones. Although he had to admit, he wished everyone on Gossip Girl could see what was happening now. The field day they would have in his enemy's older sister on her knees. Nate Archibald would surely kill him and locked his sister somewhere.

Her blue eyes stared into Carter's. There was no escaping seeing the lust in them. Her perfectly kissable lips were pouted. Carter told her no. Something he was sure she wasn't used to hearing at home. He reveled in telling her no. Her bratty reaction did things to him.

sypnosis: taking care of a very drunk nate. that’s it. also fluff.

warnings: alcohol consumption.

You sighed as Nate stumbled into your apartment, his steps unsteady and his words slurred. He looked like a lost puppy, his usually sharp features softened by the haze of alcohol. "Nate, come on, let's get you to bed," you said, guiding him towards the couch. He plopped down onto the cushions with a heavy thud, a lopsided grin spreading across his face. "You're so pretty," he slurred, his words barely intelligible.

You chuckled softly, shaking your head. "Thanks, Nate. Now, lie down and try to get some rest." Nate let out a dramatic sigh, flopping back against the pillows. "But I'd feel better if you kissed me," he said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Don't," you warned, trying to suppress a smile as you tucked a stray strand of hair behind his ear. He pouted playfully, reaching out to grab your hand. "Come on, just one little kiss. It'll make me feel better, I promise."

"Nate, walk in a straight line," you teased, gently pushing his hand away. "And maybe I'll consider it." He let out a dramatic groan, throwing his arm over his eyes. "You're so cruel to me" he whined, his words muffled by the fabric of his sleeve. "Only because I care," you retorted, shaking your head in amusement as you reached for a nearby blanket to drape over him. Nate let out a contented sigh, his features softening as he nestled further into the cushions. "You're too good to me," he murmured, his words slurring slightly as he closed his eyes.

A fond smile tugged at your lips as you watched him, feeling a swell of affection in your chest. "And you're a handful," you replied, unable to resist teasing him even in moments like these.

He cracked one eye open to peer up at you, his gaze filled with drunken adoration. "I’m aware," he said, his voice softening as he gazed up at you. "That's why I love you."

Your heart skipped a beat at his words, a mixture of surprise and warmth flooding through you. "Nate..." you started, unsure of how to respond to his confession.

But before you could gather your thoughts, Nate's expression shifted, his eyes widening in realization. "Wait, I have a song stuck in my head," he announced, sitting up abruptly.

Before you could react, he started singing at the top of his lungs, his voice loud and off-key. You quickly clapped a hand over his mouth, stifling your laughter. "Shh!," you whispered urgently, glancing around the room. "What?!" Nate exclaimed defensively, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion.

“I have neighbors that are sleeping!" you whisper-shouted. Nate rolled his eyes dramatically, his lips parting to retort, but you shot him a stern look, silencing any further protests. As he settled back against the cushions, he muttered under his breath, "Well, aren't we the neighborhood watch?"

With a desperate sigh, you pleaded, "Nate, please go to sleep," your voice laced with a mixture of exasperation.

With a defensive raise of his hands and a shrill voice, Nate let out a low chuckle, his eyes still closed, a tired smile gracing his lips. "I am," he replied with exaggerated flair, his words barely audible over his own amusement before being knocked out cold. His soft snores filled the room, ruffled hair framing his face—leaving you to ponder, “what am I to do with you?”

Nate Archibald x fem! reader (NAMED)

Charlotte was having a pretty awesome day, just having landed in her summer house in the Hamptons, she had a few hopes that she wanted to complete, including having Nate Archibald as her boyfriend. She got off the helicopter and was escorted to her room, flopping down on her soft bed she sighed dreaming of finally meeting her old friends and that one guy she had liked through 4 boyfriends and two years straight. Her phone buzzed with a text from Blair, ‘Hey! Did you reach yet? The party starts soon. Get here soon!’ She responded with ‘yeah! just landed right now I’ll be there in 15!’ Charlotte walked towards her closet and looked through her choices, finally deciding on a white satin dress with long bell leaves and crossed around the neck.

She put her hair in a fancy ponytail and put on a fair amount of mascara and lip gloss. Charlotte looked in the mirror and smiled, walking out of the room she grabbed a pair of white Steve Madden boots and walked towards her white Corvette, sitting in it and driving off towards the party venue. She reached n about 20 minutes, Charlotte looked around for familiar faces, especially the one of Nathaniel Archibald. And when she finally did spot him......he was passionately kissing one of her good friends, Serena Van der Woodsen.

Charlotte stared at the couple with a gobsmacked expression, ‘Astonishing isn’t it?’ Charlotte turned around facing a smirking Charles, a.k.a. Chuck Bass standing behind her, ‘Chuck!’ she exclaimed, plastering a smile on her face and pulling the taller man in for a tight hug. Pulling away she smiled tightly, ‘It’s been so long! How are you?’, Chuck sighed, ‘I have been better, to be honest...’ he grabbed a bottle of champagne from the table beside them, ‘Care for a drink?’. Charlotte smiled, ‘You know I don’t...’ And that’s when the hurricane called Blair Waldorf made its debut.

Charlotte!’ Blair squealed, hugging her tightly, ‘You look gorgeous!’ She said. Charlotte grinned, ‘As do you!’. Blair finally noticed Chuck and looked at him in disgust, turning her attention back to Charlotte she smiled again, ‘How about we meet my new Boyfriend?’, ‘Oh! I would love to!’ Charlotte said, turning towards Chuck, ‘You coming?’. He smiled, ‘I’d rather not.’ She looked confused, her gaze travelling from Blair to Chuck ‘Oookkkk?’. Blair animatedly started to talk about what she had missed, pulling Charlotte‘s hand towards Marcus. Chuck sighed, staring at the bottle of champagne in his hand.

Stopping suddenly, Charlotte’s eyes fell on Blair’s Boyfriend, ‘Charlotte, Marcus, Marcus Charlotte!’ She introduced them, and Charlotte politely smiled at the couple, ‘Nice to meet you!’ She exclaimed, shaking his hand. Blair kissed Marcus, ‘Isn’t he gorgeous?’ She asked clutching his arm, ‘Also! He’s a lord!’ She said smiling even wider. Charlotte nodded, ‘Wait really? That’s awesome Blair!’. Her gaze travelled to Serena and Nate, now looking into each other’s eyes with love sick smiles. Charlotte felt tears starting to flood in her eyes, she muttered ‘I’m going to get a vitamin water’ and rushed away wiping the tears from her eyes.

‘Shit! I’m so sorry!’ Charlotte looked up upon hearing the voice who had just bumped into her, she stood up, ‘Oh, it’s no problem! It was kind of my fault! I wasn’t really looking at where I was headed…’ The man smiled at her, ‘No, I’m pretty sure it was mine,’ He said, ‘I’m Dan -Dan Humphrey, speaking of, I haven’t really seen you here before, I’m kinda of proud to say that even though I hate these snobby people- I know each and every one of them.’ He proudly said, putting a faint smile on Charlotte’s face, ‘Wait-‘ his smile dropped, ‘Unless- are the daughter of one of these snobby rich people?’ She laughed looking at his white face, ‘No- no! I’m an old friend of Blair, Serena, Chuck and Nate’ her voice trembled while saying his name. Dan looked relieved, ‘Oh! Well I am-was Serena’s Boyfriend.’ Then he muttered under his breath, ‘I had come to win her back, until I saw her lip-locking with the blonde beauty.’ Charlotte sadly smiled, ‘Yeah- no I understand what you’re going through, I have liked Nate for 2 years straight.’ Dan looked surprised, ‘Really?, well it was kind of a shock to too them together and kissing to be honest.’ He remarked.

‘Dan? Charlotte?, What are you guys doing here and together?’ Serena walked up behind Dan, holding her dress up and looking completely puzzled. ‘Serena! It totally worked! Catherine just told me to meet her in the…’ Nate cheerfully started saying not noticing Charlotte and Dan staring at them open-mouthed, ‘Charlotte?’ And that’s when he noticed her, a look of confusion and surprise in his blue orbs.

Walking out of the elevator and into your house, you’re shocked and slightly concerned when you’re met with the sight of Chuck Bass sitting in your living room. “Ew, Kill me now.” You groan.

Your words catch his attention and he turns in the couch to face you, “Lovely to see you too.” He gives you his classic smirk, immediately creeping you out.

“Why are you here?” You roll your eyes as you walk through the foyer and towards him, your shoes clicking on the floor. “Well?” You raise an eyebrow, placing your small handbag on the coffee table in front of the man.

“I’m here for your sister. She’s upstairs, we’re leaving for a dinner party.” Chuck explains, shoving his hands in his pockets. “Is that an issue?” He then questions you.

You don’t respond for a moment, staring him down, a cruel look on your face. “Yeah, actually, it is an issue.”

“You have a lot of nerve, you know that?” Chuck shakes his head, trying to intimidate you by stepping closer, “Talking down on me and acting all high and mighty as if I’m unaware of you and Nate’s dirty secret. Actually, speaking of Nate and that, uh, secret..If I were you I’d go upstairs and check out your bedroom.” He whispers, but quickly backs away and exits the living room when Blair starts coming down the stairs.

“What’s going on here?” Blair stands next to Chuck and the two of them look back at you.

“Oh, nothing. Just some banter, your sister seems to be..” Blair’s boyfriend puts on his strange checkered coat, “Not super fond of me.”

Blair glares at you, turning around and grabbing Chuck’s hand, taking him with her, not before he can get a small laugh at your expression, though. The pair enter the elevator, exiting the house and going on their date.

You, however, slowly make your way up the spiral staircase, walking towards your bedroom, Chuck’s comment from earlier stuck in your head. You’re not necessarily ashamed of the supposed secret arrangement between you and Nate. By definition, you’d be considered his ‘sugar baby’ but the two of you don’t view it that way. You’ve been friends with him since childhood, and as you got older, you started feeling attracted to him. Eventually, you both figured out the fact that you felt the same way, and things got physical since. You never wanted to put a label on it and every time he came over to your place, he’d bring you gifts or something you previously mentioned wanting. Now, it’s become a tradition. You fuck him and he gives you whatever you desire.

You gently push your door open, a shocked look on your face when you find Nate sitting on the edge of your bed, your room decorated with candles and white Christmas lights. “What is all of this?” You grin, looking in the corner on the room to find a fake Christmas tree, piles of gifts underneath it.

“Merry, early, Christmas.” Nate laughs, standing up from the bed and walking towards you.

“You’re so unbelievable!” You cover your mouth, “Nate, is this all for me?” You point at the neatly wrapped presents under the tree.

He nods, “Yeah. Chuck helped me set it all up.”

“I can’t accept all of this, Nate.” You shake your head, you back away from him, a guilty look creeping onto your face.

“Of course you can, I want you too. Besides, if you don’t, it’ll go to waste.” He insists, sitting back down on the bed, motioning for you to sit next to him.

“Okay..” You sigh, taking a seat next to him. “I guess I should get you something nice then, hm?” You look at him.

“Only if you want to get me something.”

“Of course I do, Nate.”

For a moment, you both sit in silence, unsure of what to do. Deciding to speak up, you turn your body so you’re fully facing him. “I can give you a present now if you want one.” Your tone is soft but seductive.

“Oh, really?” He holds back his smile, moving his hand up your tights and under your skirt, massaging your thigh.

“Hey, I’m the one giving you a present.” You scoff, “You’ve given me enough.” You move his hand away from your body, this time you push him back on the bed, unbuttoning his shirt. Slowly, you part the fabric, kissing down his abs, then hovering your mouth just above his v line. “Hmm” You hum, lifting your hand towards the bulge peaking through his pants.

“Fuckkk.” He groans, tossing his bed back as you palm his dick over the pants. “Please, baby.”

I really don't understand how anyone could validate Oleander's way of teaching MC. Disrespect, demeaning and constantly throwing barbed insults are not in fact good tools of education. I do not care that MC knows nothing of the world they're in or of the depth of danger it holds. It was the same in book 1 and they survived. This is just a pedantic douche who behaves exactly like any other Fey would and uses the guise of 'it's for your education' to make them seem like a better person than they are. Enslaving someone is never and will never be the solution to anything. Especially not to get a point across that MC has already experienced first hand. Hello Radiance's betrayal? Hello almost getting killed by Beast Kieran? Let's not pretend MC's an ingenue (it's on the writers for making behave like one if she does). They chose to trust Oleander because Kieran told them they could. MC has a good heart and people keep making them feel like it's wrong and has no place even though it's literally the only reason the Moon Court still exists?

Back on Oleander, it's like y'all will take any representation and eat it up. MC has every right to be angry and feel disrespected by this stranger who keeps being straight up awful to them in the name of a cause they don't even really understand and no one will explain without mocking or making them feel entirely stupid for not knowing. Imagine teaching a child about the world like that. Oh? You don't already know everything? Oh you think that...let me stop you right there, you're not allowed to think on your own except if it's exactly the way we all already do. Oh you want to be yourself? Dumb mistake right there, let me constantly demean you as a way to teach you to be like one of us. You're perhaps a decent baby, but amongst adults you won't be able to pretend well enough to survive. Do you realize how insane that sounds?

You know what, this is exactly the type of thinking and way of doing things that fosters exactly the state of the fey courts today. I'm starting to think this Jack with the blade might have a point. Courts must be destroyed along with their antiquated, classists views where slavery is still a thing because humans aren't considered people, rather toys to play with.

Don't even come for me with the 'they're just brutally honest', that's the justification any asshole uses to be mean. As if the discourse being in any way purposeful in the mind of the person who says it dismisses any and all damage it can do. Intent doesn't disregard impact.

I am in no way saying people are not allowed to like a character that is mean. I'm just saying embrace the nefariousness instead of trying to justify it and pretend it's a good thing. Sometimes 'they're hot' is all you need to like a character. Look at the good it did for Nate Archibald.
