Hi! I was thinking of a F1 request (male reader preferably) where 2 drivers (or more) like the reader and are kinda fighting for attention, flirting and generally being sweet (like bringing reader his favorite drink etc) but reader is too oblivious to realize it happening. Eventually readers best friend (I was thinking Yuki or Danny) tells him but he stays in denial, despite liking the idea. Eventually one of the others confesses and pushes the other/s to do it as well and reader gets stressed about disappointing them, but they agree they can all date him (alternate ending: he picks one and the others deal with it lmao) and it’s just a happy and fluffy ending. I was thinking maybe Max and Charles, or maybe Lando and Oscar but honestly it kinda works with any combination. Like I said it can be 2 or more drivers, and I understand if you aren’t comfortable writing because everyone isn’t always cool with this type of stuff so ofc I’ll respect it if that’s the case. You are McLaren's social media manager, you film all their tiktoks,instagram posts and whatnot, so you're quite close to both drivers Lando and Oscar, some (your best friend Yuki) would say too close, but you never understand what he's talking about. Right now you're hanging out with Yuki in his place, you're sitting across him on the couch, he groaned and rolled his eyes at you as you put another +2 card on the table, drawing 4 cards from the deck "hey Y/N, how's the job at McLaren going?" he suddenly asked with underlying intentions you couldn't tell "it's fine,why you ask?" you answered Yuki with a raised eyebrow "oh no reasonn... you seem to get along well with the Lando and Oscar" he said while putting another card "isn't that a good thing,it's kind of my job, i don't want them to hate me" you said also placing a card down, you answer earned a shrug from Yuki "they seem to really like you" he said, you shook your head "impossible, but I'm not opposed to that" you answered while chuckling, after that Yuki dropped the subject and continued losing to you in UNO. A few minutes later Yuki decided to bring up the subject once again "So let's say you could date one of them,which one?" he asked, you rubbed your chin while thinking "hmm..can I say both?" you said, raising an eyebrow, you response earned a chuckle from Yuki "you can, but I don't think they'll like that" he said, and with that the conversation ended

You were sitting with the two drivers, scrolling on your phone trying to think about some ideas for the next tiktok video, you felt thirsty "I'm gonna go grab a glass of water" you said and stood up from the couch so it wouldn't seem like you're just walking away out of nowhere, you felt a hand force you to sit down,actually two hands, Lando's and Oscar's, you looked at them confused "I'll get you a glass of water" Lando said with a heroic voice before getting up, Oscar slightly elbowed the brit but Lando ignored that and walked to the kitchen area to get you a glass of water and returning shortly after and looking smugly at Oscar who rolled his eyes at Lando, making you think about what you and Yuki talked about earlier. Small things like that kept happening for the next few weeks, you saying you'll get something,ask for something etc, and the two boys jumping at the opportunity to provide it to you.

One day after doing some shootings for an Instagram post you were standing by yourself in a room, it was empty besides yourself, suddenly you were cornered by Lando, a determined look on the brits face "Hello, Y/N" he said, trying to make his voice deeper, you made a face and raised an eyebrow "Hello, Lando.." you said and put your phone in your pocket "I've got something to tell you!" he semi-yelled, you could tell he was kind of nervous "shoot" you said and waited for an answer from Lando "actually, Oscar also has something to tell you" he said and left, adding to your confusion as you stood there, moments later Lando came back,dragging poor Oscar with him "you go first, I'll tell him after you do" Oscar said and Lando nodded "but you are telling him, deal?" Lando said and Oscar nodded "tell me what? what's going on with you two" you asked in a confused tone "well...I think I like you,no, I know I like you, in a romantic way" Lando said first, without letting you even think, let alone open your mouth, Oscar started to speak too "Yeah, Me too, we both like you" the aussie said, leaving you shocked as you looked at them with your eyes widened "uhm...what..? you finally asked after a few seconds, you didn't know what to say, you thought about your conversation with Yuki, and how he said that the two would not want to date you at the same time, you felt a bit stressed, you didn't want to accept one and reject the other especially since you liked both of them, you train of thoughts was cut but Oscar starting to talk again "It's okay if you don't like us back, or only like one of us, but just tell us the truth,please" he said and Lando nodded,waiting for you answer "Well" you began "I like both of you, if that's fine, I just don't really know if you two would like to be in a relationship together, the three of us" you finished talking "we are more than okay with that!" Lando said enthusiastically, grabbing your shoulders and hugging you tightly, urging Oscar to join the hug. The three of you ended all cuddled up in one of their driver rooms.

Okay so just a rando ask, I was reading through the posts on your page,, and I came to thinking

If daemon truly abandoned Rhaenyra, why didn't he just run away with nettles? Why did he have to still fight for team black when he could have just flown else where with her? Rhaenyra would have met her own end inevitably. I’m no daemyra shipper, I’m not a daemon fan either it just doesn't add up. He sacrificed his life to get rid of the biggest threat of team green? Wouldn't it be fair to assume it was for Rhaenyra? Or atleast his children.

Now this is just my personal opinion, he loved nettles, yes (she's awesome who wouldn't 😩) but he also bore some love for Rhaenyra (she’s mommy🥰) as well. He chose to let go of nettles to protect her because he loved her. He chose to fight for Rhaenyra because in the end of the day he loved her and wanted to prove his loyalty to her (but wasn’t actually faithful lol)

He died for her cause if not for her in the end of the day. Well atleast that’s what I think 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I don’t believe in the theory that he fled with nettles, it just sort of feels out of character for him, to leave his children, Aegon the younger in the clutches of Aegon ii. Daemon imo would scream his head off if he knew his first born son was captured by Aegon ii, and somehow work up some scheme to get back into the game and possibly overthrow Aegon ii. And it just seems unlikely he survived the fall as well. 

Daemon is a complicated and morally grey character, but like any character he has his merits and he has his flaws. I think his love life would be as complex as he is, conflicted by both duty and love.

I hope I make sense lol, I want to know your thoughts.

Ok, so first thanks for being normal even if you have a different opinion. Usually, I always get a bunch of people screaming at me lmao. It's cool to have rational discussions even if in the end the parts just agree in disagree. Now, back to the points you brought. I still disagree lol. Imo, Daemon didn't die for the cause, much less for Rhaenyra or his children. I'm gonna break down why I think this argument makes no sense whatsoever:

Fire & Blood never implies that Daemon had a close relationship or even cared that much for his children. He didn't hate them or anything, but we have no canon basis to say he was a fatherly type where he thought of his children that much or was willing to make huge sacrifices for them. This is fandom projection 101. So to say he did what he did thinking of his children is a stretch IMO.

Aemond wasn't Rhaenyra's biggest threat at the time. Her biggest threat was Daeron and the Southron army he had assembled. It's canon. "And yet, the greatest threat to Rhaenyra's reign was not Aemond One-Eye, but his younger brother, Prince Daeron The Daring, and the great southron army led by Lord Ormund Hightower." And that was before Ulf and Hugh's betrayal and before Rhaenyra alienated Addam by declaring him a traitor as well. So even if Rhaenyra didn't say anything about that in the letter to Daemon (which I doubt, since she was sending the letter to demand Nettles' death, so she sure talked about the dragonseeds' betrayal), Daemon knew about that already. He knew that without him, she was fucked, because she would have only Tyraxes and Syraxes on Team Black's side, and you can exclude Syraxes since Rhaenyra wouldn't go into battle. He knew all of that. He still chose to die anyway.

About running away with Nettles, a few things to consider. As long as he was with Nettles, she wouldn't be safe. If he runs away with her and Rhaenyra somehow wins the war, she will send for him. He would be a traitor, she'd never forgive that. If Rhaenyra loses, Team Green is definitely going after him. He would be a threat to the throne, they would never let them live. The best way to protect Nettles is to send her away alone. Besides that, regardless of what happened, if he ran away with her, he would never be able to return home and I doubt Daemon was keen on living on the run forever. It doesn't fit him.

It seemed like he was tired of war, tired of the scheming, tired of fighting. Even before I reached the point where he makes the decisions he makes, I felt his narrative shifting, and his time in Maidenpool with Nettles looked much more like a vacation to him and a respite than a mission. He seemed happy with Nettles, and happy with that bubble he created for them, but once reality burst that, he seemed done with everything. This is also sort of corroborated by his dialogue with Aemond, where he agrees he has lived for too long.

The narrative in any way frames his final battle with Aemond as something he is doing for the cause. Daemon might have gone through a somewhat redemption arc, but he's still very much a selfish man and someone who would never go down in any other way than not an epic way because he is "the rogue prince". His showdown with Aemond is written as something about both of them as characters whose arcs are mirrored at every turn, finally culminating in their final encounter, and written as Daemon's big send-off.

The narrative specifically frames his final act as a betrayal through Rhaenyra's lens, further corroborating all that was set up before, something that is narratively satisfying to the reader because at this point she's very much the villain instead of the hero. We have seen her burning bridges, behaving poorly with the smallfolk, and being unfair with allies, culminating in her acts against Addam, Nettles, and Corlys, and overestimating her hand to the point of being arrogant in her certainty that Daemon would come back to be with her after murdering an innocent woman. Until this point, Daemon and Nettles have been written as a romantic arc, one that ends in heartbreak, specifically because of Rhaenyra. So we have this moment of satisfaction when Rhaenyra realizes that even though she did everything she did, and she was so certain she would win, she actually lost. He left her. He betrayed her.

The story leaving the "possibility" that Daemon could have survived and gone to find his way toward Nettles serves to show where his loyalty truly lies, and where his heart is, in life or death. If anything, to believe he went on a suicide mission because he couldn't stand being apart from Nettles is a much more acceptable and logical conclusion of his final choices than the bizarre cope that is the "he died for Rhaenyra, for his children, or for the cause".

Finally, I don't think he loved both because I don't think he ever loved Rhaenyra tbh. Not like he loved Nettles or Laena. An argument can be made that he loves Rhaenyra in the show adaptation (although I disagree about that medium, but this is for another post). But in the book, it's very clear that she's not on top or even second in his list of "women I romantically loved most in my criminal life". I say Nettles comes first because his love for her seemed to come from a genuine place of wonderment and affection, with no hidden agenda behind it. Laena comes close behind because even though we don't know if he indeed fell for her or if he married her to advance politically after his recent downfall from power at the time, he clearly came to love her very much in the years they were together and was happy in their marriage. I say even Mysaria might come first to him than Rhaenyra, he clearly cared for her for a while and was very upset when they lost their baby. The only person beneath Rhaenyra is Rhea because he clearly hates Rhea. In the books, Daemon groomed and wanted to use Rhaenyra to get back at his brother/get closer to the throne and later they combined their shared vision and aligned political ambitions in a marriage that was beneficial to both of them. Obviously, there was physical attraction (and co-dependency on Rhaenyra's part), but love? I don't think so.

i love cass's apocalypse series so much and it has brought so much joy to me but with this latest arc (which I also love, don't get me wrong) it's like.

idk, my dashboard is just filled with art and writing about it and how sad and horrible it is to watch someone you love die. and about how sad and horrible it is that leo is gonna lose his twin brother. and like. it's so cool that it's inspired so many people (and I'm one of them, for the record, I've made art about it too!) and everything but now I'm just sitting here THINKING about it like.

.... yeah. it was really sad and horrible to watch my dad die. he was in hospice for over a year. and he was sick for a lot longer than that, back before he was rejected for a lung transplant, and when we still thought he would get better.

and it was really sad and horrible when my twin brother died, too. i just had my first birthday without him earlier this month and it sucked. it'll be one year officially since we lost him on may 11th and I'm sooo not ready for it.

and i do trust cass that there will be a happy ending and everything. but there's sadly no one storyboarding my reality so. that's not really true anywhere else.

and the WORST PART!!! is i can't even go talk to people about this!! which is the only reason I'm here in the first place lmao. coz like. what am i supposed to do like? "hey in order for you to understand why I'm upset right now I'm gonna have to explain the extended tmnt universe, the plot of the movie, and also can you read these fan comics for me?" like!!! FUCK!!!!! but then cass just posted the last page >:( (it's beautiful btw they did gr8) and I straight up curled up and sobbed for like. a good five minutes. coz. like. fuck!!! it just!!! I'm sad!!!! One Piece Chapter 1100 Thoughts!

I wanted to start making things that aren't shitposts (and I don't have anyone to talk about them with) so I'm gonna start posting my thoughts and what I like about the new chapter each week! Obviously, chapter 1100 spoilers below...

I don't think I'll ever get over how damn silly Vegapunk looks before he sets up his brain antenna. I giggle every time i see him, it's so goofy. Also, Kuma's bounty here being about the same as Luffy's when they fatefully meet is interesting to me. I love how bounties in OP don't care about powerscaling. And Kizaru needs to lose the fedora. He looks greasy.

Chapter after chapter Kuma is only becoming more likeable to me. Like obviously he would only care about Bonney being cured, but seeing it is still very moving.

Man, Saint Saturn better have a serious ass-kicking coming his way. As good as this flashback is, I can't wait to get back to the present to see what happens (and to probably get emotionally devastated considering Kuma's current day actions).

Lmao get fucked Senomaru.

Seeing these five enjoying their time together while Kuma and Bonney go through their treatments is super interesting to me. We've already seen Sentomaru siding with Vegapunk against the WG and this helps us see why. Now I'm wondering if Kizaru will have a change of heart... idk!

This bracket has been quiet recently but now it is time to resume it. But I have a buncha changes to make bc let's face it, this bracket? It's an unorganized mess lmao

Congrats to our last winners!

Also I was thinking of going back to doing 2 groups of contestants at a time again, y'know 8 votes at once. Because let's face it this bracket is huge & honestly some of the entrants I kiiiind of wish I didn't put in.

Example of what I mean: Hanamusa. Don't get me wrong I love that ship, they've brought me so much comfort. But honestly they got like 600 votes. & Something about seeing them bring in THAT MUCH ATTENTION but none of the other polls got anywhere close to that kind of attention & knowing they'll probably just completely sweep the entire thing makes me think putting them in was not a great move. If only because it's gonna be super unfair & also makes me a bit sad that none of the other parts of the bracket are gonna get that much attention. I SWEAR IF I EVER TOOK THEM OUT IT'S NOT BECAUSE I HATE THEM IM HAPPY IF THEY WIN ITS JUST

I'm here to request because I'm having a hard time: Mikasa and reader have always considered themselves as sisters, but when Mikasa and Eren start planning their marriage, reader starts fearing she could be left behind and the day of their wedding, she isn't invited, but she goes to the ceremony the same, but ends hiding in the labyrinth in the garden of the place everybody's attempting the wedding.

Mikasa x Eren (ft. Reader)

You and Mikasa were always together, best friends stuck at the hip. You were basically considered sisters.

Mikasa’s parents treat you like part of the family.

Even now, you’re always visiting each other.

You knew she started dating Eren, he treated you like you and Mikasa were sisters, as everyone did. You and him got along pretty well.

He wasn’t a bad guy to be fair, but this was the beginning of something you weren’t too happy about.

Then, one afternoon you get a text from Eren.

You had thought it was strange, but you still invited him over anyways.

Not long after you texted him, he knocks on your door. He looked a little nervous.

“Cmon in” You say, smiling.

“Thanks.”

He sits on the couch and you get both of you a can of soda (your choice, if u don’t like soda just think of any drink)

“So what’s up?” You ask, talking about the sudden text.

“Well..” He sighs, “I’ve been wanting to do something for a long time, but I don’t know how to do it.”

“And what would that be?”

“I.. I want to propose to Mikasa. And well I thought I should ask for your blessing and advice before I talk to her parents-“ he chuckled nervously.

Your heart dropped a little, but you kept on a soft smile.

“That’s wonderful! I just know she will say yes.”

“I hope.. but anyways, I wanted to see if you could help with the way I would go about it?”

“Of course, I’d be happy to.”

“Thank you, Y/N. I really appreciate this.”

You and him plan what he’s going to do— a classic picnic date, then watch the sunset. That’s when he’ll ask.

“I think I can do that. I’m happy you could help me and accept this even if it’s sudden.” He smiled at you, getting up.

“It’s no problem, I want you guys to happy!”

“I’ve got to head out, I’ll text you later!”

“See ya.”

And with that, he leaves.

You feel bad for getting a little upset. I mean Mikasa is your best friend, and you want the best for her.. but you can’t help but feel like you will be cast aside once they get married.

Time flew by since you had that talk with Eren.

He recently proposed to Mikasa and she, of course, said yes.

You were beyond happy for her.. but something in your heart still felt wrong. The thought of being left behind.

And then, the week before the marriage between them came just as fast as the proposal.

But, you seemed to have not gotten invited. You saw others posting and talking about their excitement for their engagement.

You thought you two were as close as sisters, treating each other as such in the past.

But.. for some reason, they didn’t invite you to their wedding. The very thing you helped make happen.

Even knowing that, you thought of just going anyways.

And you stuck with it.

It was the day of the wedding now and still no invitation, of course.

So you are putting your plan into action.

You were kinda nervous about getting caught, but you’re there now so there’s no going back.

Don’t get me wrong, you were happy she found the one, but it seems like there’s wall dividing you.

When you arrived, you went to hide in the beautiful garden of the place.

You decided to play it cool and call her on her phone, while also heading away from the scene, out of peoples earshot.

“Hey, Mika?”

“Hi Y/N!”

“..Why didn’t you invite me?”

She went quiet for a second.

“What do you mean..?”

“You’re getting married.. but you never invited the one person who was always with you?” You tear up.

“Y/N.. I did invite you.”

Your eyes widen. “No.. you didn’t?”

“I sent you an invitation through the mail, did you not get it?”

“I didn’t..”

“Oh, Y/N.. I’m so sorry— maybe I sent it to the wrong address, or maybe something got mixed up.” She sighs, sounding upset.

“Mika..”

“I would never do that on purpose. You’re my best friend, my sister not by blood but by fate. I’m so sorry I made you think I didn’t like you anymore..”

Her voice shakes.

“No, no, don’t apologize. It isn’t your fault. I jumped to conclusions too quick.. I should have told you I didn’t get it.” You wipe your tears.

“I need my best friend.. would you please come? I want you to be here for this.. and be by my side.”

“Of course.” You freak out a bit considering you’re already at the place.

But you run back home and put on more formal attire before going back.

When you get there, you head to her dressing room. You knock first and hear a “Come in!”

You open the door and see Mikasa, and the others preparing for the wedding.

“Hey..”

“Y/N!” She runs to hug you.

“Mikasa.. you look so beautiful! I’m sorry for the whole mix up, I just thought you were going to leave me for good.”

“I could never!”

You smiled, hugging her tighter.

After the ceremony, Eren apologized as well, not knowing you didn’t get the invite.

You made up with him as well, and that broke the (metaphorical) wall between you and them.

You were happy to get to see your best friend and friend walk the aisle together and get married officially.

And the friendship between you guys is priceless.

Now, let me explain myself, because tbh I haven’t seen anyone really delve into why they hate him, at least not in detail.

In this post I’m going to go over the positive and negative points of Chris’s character. It’s a little messy because it’s 12am and I’m not going to edit it. I’ll be looking at him through the POV of actual character writing and not just his yucky icky grossness /lh

I’m not gonna close my eyes & ears and say “he’s bad!”, I acknowledge he has good traits. That make him an interesting character. I’ll start with the traits I find enduring about Chris.

Let’s begin!

Chris and Sonic (+ Positives)

The fact they made Chris rich stood out to me. The point of human characters in these series (SonicX, Transformers, etc.) is so the kid watching can relate to that character (ironically most of these shows don’t pull this off - I’ll explain why in a little bit). So they can put themselves in that persons shoes and say “That’s like me! I could do that!”, an audience stand-in. Let’s be honest, most kids aren’t rich, so this isn’t a very relatable trait.

The point of Chris (besides being a stand-in) is to mirror and contrast Sonic to a certain degree. Sonic is confident being alone - he enjoys it! We see him at several points throughout the series avoiding being around others. Instead we see Sonic napping, exploring, running, or just relaxing. Sonic is comfortable with himself, he doesn’t need the approval of others and doesn’t care what they think. Sonic does things his way, and that’s that.

Chris, on the other hand, craves social interaction. They made him a rich, spoilt, self-centred kid. But they also made him incredibly lonely. Chris doesn’t really have people in his life who he can connect with, he’s an only child who lives in a massive mansion (seriously, that thing is HUGE!) but he is incredibly neglected emotionally. Yes, he has maids and butlers, but a maid and butler simply do not have the same connection to Chris as a parental figure would. This goes for his friends and grandfather, too. Despite the people around him, he aches for his parents attention. Chris is a sheltered and lonely kid, who has a pretty different view on the world than you or I would. Chris has people going to him at all times, trying their bests to please him, so it’s no surprise that he is pretty selfish.

Both Sonic and Chris have a love for nature and want to do good for it. For Chris this is shown in two episodes especially: Episode 1, where he rushes down from his room to save what he thinks is a cat from drowning. Again in the Episode The Dam Scam. Tails asks what Chris wants to be, to which he replies a zoologist.

Tails: Thanks. So what do you think you wanna do when you're older?

Chris: Well, I... I really want to study zoology... I think. Grandpa and my dad want me to really like building machines, just like they do. But since I met you guys, I figured I'm more interested in animals than machines.

Chris goes out of his way to help the cast in whatever way he can - even if he ends up getting captured etc. I’ll go into the negatives later, though. The point is that he is determined and wants to help others. He has his own motivations seperate to Sonic.

Before Sonic can leave with the rest of his friends, Chris is suddenly overcome with the fear of being alone again. He feels as though Sonic was a consistent person in his life - sure, he has friends, but he never really connected with them in the same way he connected with Sonic. Sonic is a person Chris feels like he can truly rely on. A big brother, a best friend, just someone cool and inspiring. He doesn’t want to lose that, so he closes the portal before sonic can enter.

After this, Chris begins to feel really guilty about his decision, and asks Sonic why he chose to stay with him.

I feel like this is one of the most important moments for Chris in Sonic X. This scene resonated with me, and a lot of other people. I’m a little too tired to analyse this scene in it’s entirety, but I feel like everything that needs to be said is in the video.

Why I hate Chris Thorndyke (negatives)

Now that I’ve acknowledged he has good traits and the writing in his character is at least decent, I can go into why I hate him.

I’ve seen the argument that Chris is insightful for a child because of his speech to Shadow, where he convinces him not to destroy the earth and instead to help it. Such a heartwarming moment…

Except that moment wasn’t his.

That speech you hear isn’t Chris Thorndyke. It’s Amy Rose. Amy Rose is a character who consistently gets shoved to the side in a lot of series, especially in the English version of sonic X (I’ll write a whole other post for that). But the fact that they just completely took Amy away from that scene and replaced her with Chris will forever ruin him as a character for me. Which brings me into my main point:

Chris overshadows the main cast, and not in a good way.

When people call Chris useless etc. it’s not because he’s godawful in battle and constantly causes more problems than fixing them - that’s by design. It’s to make the 12 year old watching relate, right? That’s not my issue (it is but I’ll come back to that). My issue is that Chris takes roles that other characters could have easily fulfilled. The compassion and empathy that Amy Rose has is overshadowed and in some cases outright ignored in favour of Chris. The intelligence and tech-savvy, inventive abilities Tails has, coupled with his insecurities? Chris takes those, too.

My main issue with Chris Thorndyke is that he takes the roles of many other characters, and he is literally replacing them because of this. Chris needs to be his own person before I can justify him being a good character - and he simply isn’t. Chris isn’t his own character. Chris takes the roles of Amy and Tails quite often - I can’t remember the episode, but he makes some fancy shoes for sonic in season 3, Tails should have done that.

Chris needed to be his own person, he had the backstory etc. but it just wasn’t very emotionally enrapturing. I don’t think it’s because he’s rich, or he’s spoilt. I actually think it’s a very important thing for people to understand that being wealthy and having a lot of materialistic items does not make you happy. People need people, and people need structure and stability. People will do awful things out of fear, and loneliness can make you do very selfish things. These are all topics Chris Thorndyke’s character tries to convey, but his lack of personality outside of being a plot point is what ultimately makes him a bad character.

His dependence on Sonic is intentional, and while it has meaning, that meaning isn’t explored due to the nature of the show. This creates a sort of divide between the viewer and Chris. Instead of feeling like one of the main characters, he feels like a side character shoved into a main characters position. He has a backstory, he has a reason for being so dependent and insecure about his relationship with Sonic, and yet those reasons are sort of shoved to the side. I think Chris had potential to be an alright character. But due to the series inability to explore the character without Sonic around, it made him very annoying. He wasn’t important, and was often used as a plot device. Causing trouble just to move the plot along.

A character doing that isn’t entirely a bad thing, but it becomes bad when it is always one character doing it. Time and time again, Chris causes trouble for the whole cast. It’s annoying because he makes the same mistakes he always does and never really learns his lesson. Transformers has the same issue with a lot of their human characters (an exception being Transformers: Animated). In a lot of these series, the characters aren’t really… A character. They’re more like a plot decide and a microphone for the writers to use to directly convey a message they want delivered. Luckily Chris isn’t quite at that level - I digress.

All of these things are why Chris’s moment with Sonic (video linked earlier in the post) didn’t feel as impactful as it could have. I directly related to Chris once throughout the series, and it was in that campfire scene. I feel like Chris could have been completely removed from the series and a similar thing could have been done with Tails. It would have left a greater impact on the audience because Tails is an important member to the team. He brings value to it, and doesn’t actively drag it down. Chris does not work because the majority of his actions directly correlate to a setback for the main cast, the audience begins to resent him because he adds nothing substantial and meaningful to the plot, and the things he does add was at the cost of another character (referring to Chris taking the roles of Amy and Tails).

Conclusion/TLDR

I do not like Chris. His character is bland, and most of his roles could have been taken by Amy or Tails. While the idea and message that Chris carried was appealing to me, it was executed poorly because he wasn’t developed individually and had very little character growth. The campfire scene was heartwarming, but ultimately came off sort of flat and preachy due to the audience having a very small connection to him. He changes very little throughout the series, constantly puts the cast through more trouble than necessary due to idiotic actions he should have learnt from by now.

Okay, so somewhat recently I've been reblogging a few things using my clarke and virgil tag, so i'm just gonna go through and expand a little more about why i reblogged them because I tend to get self-conscious putting everything in the tags lmao.

Okay so first we have the most recent one, that being the pet names post. I just think it's funny having this dynamic of big tough stoic guy getting called darlin' and sunshine all the time, and then turning around and being like, "What do you want Virgil." I also like to think that Virgil calls Clarke by his intimidating cowboy nickname, Gravedigger, usually in a mocking way. And then they'll be in the middle of some trouble and someone will call him Gravedigger mockingly and it pisses him off. Like he doesn't go ballistic because he's not that kind of guy, but he gets that like quiet seething kind of anger that permeates the air around him and makes the enemies think twice about what they're trying to do.

Alright next is the series of text conversations where they're all like threatening to kill eachother lmao. This one is mostly about this one single screenshot in the post:

i can just visualize this interaction so clearly where, pretty soon after clarke escapes from cowboy jail (i'm working on it. go away), virgil just won't stfu, and clarke loses his patience and tells him that he's an unlikable nuisance and he wishes he hadn't agreed to let him tag along, and Virgil stops for a second and leans forward in his seat and is just all, "mhmm? go on ;)" and Clarke just rolls his eyes and goes back to whatever he was doing.

Next up we have the characters having cool titles post, and this one is just about Clarke being called Gravedigger and having lore lmao.

Next is the enemies-to-lovers post with the line "throw darts at it all you want, but you still printed out a picture of them to hang on your wall." This one (surprise surprise) is about Clarke's opinion of Virgil. Like when they first meet, Virgil's [insert vague parental figure here]'s gang beats the shit out of Clarke and throws him in their cowboy jail where Virgil visits every day and just taunts him because he's an asshole while Clarke just sits in there and plans his escape for like a week. Then when Clarke finally puts his genius plan into action, Virgil helps by getting his gun back and making sure his horse is easily accessible, and just follows him once he leaves and continues to be an asshole until Clarke falls in love with him.

Next is the bear and the deer post, and i'm gonna be honest with you I can't really remember why i tagged this as them specifically, but i can see the vague idea behind it. I think Virgil was supposed to be the bear? I actually really like the idea that there's this big strong intimidating guy getting followed around by a scrawny rich asshole who decided he was interesting enough to betray his vague parental figure for, and they're dynamic is the complete opposite of what you'd expect.

Okay now i'm gonna skip a few posts to get to the dog post. This post is what solidified most of my ideas about their relationship, and really explains the bear/deer post. I like to think that, a couple months after Clarke escapes, he starts to appreciate Virgil's company and lets things slide more often, but then one day they get into an argument about something and Virgil's being sarcastic and stupid still and says something like "you want to fuck me so bad it makes you look stupid" and then Clarke just does. After that though their dynamic shifts from an enemies-to-partners type thing to bear/deer or guard dog and master. Like before this fight they would bond over some things, and have a few close encounters with death, but they'd get through it in the end and continue on their journey, and they'd start noticing different sides of each other. Like Clarke isn't just an emotionless killing machine out for revenge because deep down he has a soft spot for mothers and kids, and he takes Super good care of his horse, Beast, and he always makes sure to dig graves for any of the unfortunate men he kills in his travels (hence the name). And Virgil isn't just a rich asshole whose made a living out of following Clarke and trying to see how thin he can get his patience, but instead he's a deeply traumatized dude with a knack for sharpshooting and music, and who actually thinks very highly of Clarke despite all his mocking.

OH SHIT I'M BACK MEGA POST

shit. I forgot to keep updating this. its so nice to keep a journal and I especially like this format. tumblr is permanent through its medium as a social media site. it means I never put it down, I never lose it, I never get bored of it, and its not really possible to get impulse wants to "buy a new one."

so yea, gonna update this more often now hopefully. and maybe it means I don't just unload shit on her that I could be doing there lmao

anyways, I'm 21 now haha. it feels good to finally be equal again amongst my peers. I hate that feeling with everything. but I'm feeling a lot better now. I have a lot of issues still lmao, and I'm working on fixing them, but lately I've been feeling a lot more clear headed. like I purged the depression from my system. I'm gonna do my best not to relapse again.

THAT. SHIT. SUCKS. just as a reminder to yourself, myself, its not easier, its just shutting down. it makes it harder to get started again. it's already so hard to get started. hating yourself is NOT a "productive use" of your energy. >:(

back at arbys. I think I was still at Petco when I last wrote. but I got fired lmao and it really fucked me up. WAILING type shit it was awful. but I knew Arbys would take me back, I had a turnaround of two days. I was so thankful I had it as a backup. I got to being a team trainer. there's whispers of them wanting me to be a manager. the only problem is that I've come in late nearly every day for a little over a year. the only reason I'm not fired is because there's no repercussions for anything anymore. Arbys is a shadow of what it used to be. Mr. Ripp actually had his own sense of direction, and gave a fuck about the company. shit broke and got fixed under him. since he passed his two sons took over.

Under them, it took over a year to get the lobby drink station's ice dispenser fixed. it took 4 months for someone to LOOK at our slicer and all it had was a frayed belt and a foot fell off. Our women's room has a faulty lightbulb socket and the toilet is super complicated to flush in the handicap stall and our district manager refuses to believe its broken. it took 3 months to fix our ice machine leaking because they said "its just condensation." it created a puddle in the floor that had to be wet-vacced up every. two. hours. even if if WERE condensation, THATS A PROBLEM! They. Didn't. Fix. Our. Fry. Reach-ins. For. 3. Weeks. idek how long we went with only 3 microwaves. since corporate updated our register system, our drivethru speaker box order screen doesn't do anything since they aren't compatible. and to top it all off our drive thru window doesn't work. pair all of that with usual day to day stress like working with people who literally have never had a job before and feel no commitment to it because, well, its just a shitty fast food job. there's hundreds like it. and this ones kinda hard, all things considered. kinda sucks. the only reason anyone stays is for the team itself.

D is joining Arbys! I'm so excited to have him on board, even if it is only for part-time. he also had another seasonal gig going on, so its all cool obviously. even if he didn't as long as he somehow made rent it'd be cool, but I digress

I may be very late here, but I was watching the first ep of TFATWS (because I hadn’t watch the first ep, I joined in a livestream watch a friend hosted halfway around episode 3 with NO context of any of the characters or the world whatsoever except for a very general sense of who is who, and even then it was like ??? I’ll just enjoy this ride with my friends here) and (sort of) rewatching the second ep.

And it’s been at least over a month since the finale aired (and somehow I ended up managing to binge read over 800K+ words of fanfiction plus watch CA:TWS and CA:CW) and... there’s just. Something that struck me.

Obviously, there’s 6 months of time between Endgame (which I had watched before, casually, and also through my dash, so I know marginally what’s going on, if by osmosis) and the start of the tv series (and also...you can tell they shot the boat scenes first (even though in the behind the scenes interviews Sebastian Stan actually admits episode 5 was the first to be filmed) because only during winter time could you wear jackets and long sleeves in Louisiana... lool Those scenes would’ve been something else if they filmed in southern heat) and while there is a lot of stuff they don’t say explicitly in terms of Sam and Bucky’s relationship, there’s still...a lot to think about.

Like the fact that there’s a deleted moment of Bucky actually being in the Smithsonian when Sam makes that speech. He’s all the way in the back but he doesn’t put a hat on (and his outfit kinda reminds me of that end scene in TWS) so if Sam actually...looked, he could’ve seen him. I get why they probably deleted it because they wanted to show us how Bucky and Sam are like “apart”/separate from each other and how they’re faring in their lives and how they would end up reuniting in episode 2 but it’s like, what’s going on here. Does Sam actually know or is he’s just focused on his speech and lost in his feelings (which is totally understandable)? How does Bucky take it -- resignation but feels he has to “move on” and be ok with it or? From watching the first two eps, he’s only truly pissed when Walker ends up taking the shield (and especially with watching Walker’s interview where he claims to “know” Steve and also see him like a “brother”, which, the only people who can claim that about Steve are the Avengers and Bucky, so lmao) and that’s when he ends up confronting Sam about it, after ghosting Sam for ages. (Just HOW LONG did he ghost him??? Because 6 months is a VERY long time!)

But as I was watching episode 2, there’s... a line that just. I don’t understand why it’s there. It’s right before Sam is about to board the plane, and he says, “It’s over”. That could be in reference in SO many things! The conversation? The whole “I’m not taking up the mantle and I can’t just go and ask to be Captain America and take the shield back”? Something else between them, like the end of their friendship or if they had something, anything before this moment??? (Especially when Sam makes one of those jovial/joking comments about “nice reunion”, jeez Sam)

That’s. Because if you take into everything else that happened between them, just how freaking close did they get? There’s so much we could speculate about the depth of their friendship (or even romantic relationship) between after TWS (two years you try to find a guy...) til that moment in Endgame... anyhow. That’s an entirely another post for another day.

What was interesting was that Torres didn’t really act surprised when Bucky was there -- and the way they not only moved in sync but the way Bucky just unconsciously goes to get the comm pieces and put it in his ear and it’s just like... Sam has been working with the Air Force for 6 months on certain missions, and obviously has a working friendship with Joaquin. I think it’s very easy to assume that perhaps Bucky in the beginning did work with them too, maybe not often, but enough times, to know each other and how this works. What kind of things, who knows. 

(Also, it really delights me just how much Bucky actually does know how to use modern technology, especially some advanced stuff, and I can imagine him doing that kind of thing on missions too if necessary. Even if he does only have a “flip phone”. Which makes me wonder, does he have another phone, like a smartphone, or does he do the dating apps thing with his tablet?)

And a tangent to that, when the hell would Bucky actually have a moment to actually have steadfast opinions about redwing???? It would make sense if he did some missions with Sam beforehand.

(Also. Sam doing some engineering on redwing? Sam AND Joaquin being polyglots? Why is this going underappreciated???? There’s “field repairs” and then there’s knowing how to fix technology that’s “Stark-level” as Joaquin claims.)

Maybe being new to all this info has allowed me to see this with fresh eyes because it’s interesting to think about. 

I read a meta post earlier today that was talking about how despite the Winter Soldier being very efficient about “eliminating his targets” (and anyone in the way), that Sam of all people managed to evade that twice. The first time could’ve just been a fluke, after all, the Winter Soldier just needed Falcon out of the way but he just ripped his wing, he didn’t think Sam had a parachute, or possibly thought at that height Sam would’ve died anyway. And then, when he got activated again in CW, all the other people are (assumed) dead when Steve goes down to the cell, but somehow, even with a throw by the chin, Sam isn’t actually dead.

Which really makes me wonder, why Sam of all people? Other than plot reasons/armor, was there something unconscious going on? Or is it because Sam has some association with Steve being with friend, and thus some part of him is like no, I can’t kill him?

There’s just... a lot of implied depth with their friendship (and more, if you ship them) that just makes me go how far does it go because obviously we see that deepening til the end of the series (episode 6 is just. that ending is so soft, hello) but when you pair the “it’s over” comment, with the scene in episode 3 where Bucky pleads with Sam to “do this [that whole thing with Zemo], for me” it’s just. There is some untold story there and we’re all itching for it.

I could honestly go on (there was a lot of nonverbal/visual things I picked up and also thoughts about parallels and other comments I was thinking while watching, and also a lot of thoughts about Sarah & Sam’s relationship, because that nuanced sibling relationship was great even if I wish we saw MORE UGH) but this is a rambly mess and I had to get some thoughts out but. Yeah. Never thought I’d be here but this show proved me wrong (well, actually it was the fics I read that got me here coz I was like... hey, i wanna see the quality of the best fics and well. I read one, and then read more to see if it was a fluke or not and then somehow I inadvertently got hooked).

And the puppets, as characters, tend to be just a few steps shy of seeming organic, because they're really only there to propel the comedic effect.

Mostly, this art has been boiled down to not moving your lips, but here's my big huge hot take: the heart of ventriloquism isn't how well you can appear as if you're not talking, it's how well you can make convincing, realistic characters that get people invested. That's where the REAL core of it is, because if people are invested in the character, they aren't paying attention to how much your lips are moving, and we have proof of that.

Peter Brough was a massively famous ventriloquist way back when, but here's the thing-- he didn't do live shows very often at all. Most of his work was over the radio, where nobody could actually see whether or not he was doing ventriloquism, and people just had to trust that he was. And he was, they saw that when he did the few live shows he did, but apparently he wasn't very good at it. Did people care? Nah. They were in it for Archie Andrews, the little puppet gremlin that everyone just adored.

And so I find it interesting that our community celebrates his work, which was highly story-driven and relied on that rather than how much his lips were moving to create the effect of ventriloquism, but they also don't want to give any other story-driven shows a chance?? Especially seeing as the way we're doing things now clearly isn't working. I think we could learn a think or two from Peter here.

I mean... Honestly? With fandom culture and all that... That's how you get people interested in things, is having a community based around characters people like. So, like, as weird as it sounds, yeah, I'm saying that we need to make ventriloquism acts more accessible to fandom culture, because that will help build the community. The only way to really do that is to make the shows more dynamic, more fleshed out, more plotty, I guess. We gotta give people something to care about. This is why I really like what Trillo and Suede does, because even though it is yet another old white guy playing with some puppets, it's so different, and that's a good thing! There's characters you can actually connect with and relate to and get super invested in, and it gives us all that without sacrificing the comedy, which is of course a HUGE part of our roots. I don't think we'll ever drop the comedy out of our acts. That's what we're built on. But it wouldn't hurt to take ourselves just a bit more seriously.

Creating characters that are just undeniably human no matter how nonhuman they actually are is the whole point, and we forget that there's SO many ways to do that. Like, David Strassman does a really good job finding other ways to bring the show to life, but I think the most iconic way he does this (and debatably the most iconic thing he does ever lmao) is with robotics.

This is literally so cool?? AND NOBODY IS ACKNOWLEDGING IT???? There are so many cool things we can do with modern technology that can make this art, like, infinitely cooler so that the new generation can actually take an interest in it, and it's disappointing that we're not taking advantage of it.

We've been using the same routines and the same formats for way too long. It is not 1833 anymore, unfortunately, and even though it's not entirely our fault that people have less interest in ventriloquism nowadays, it... Partially is, because we're not making any attempt to invite them in. We're losing our chance and it really sucks to see.

Chaos & Beauty

Prompt: Y/N and Shawn have been distant lately and try to mend the ongoing situation into a good one.

A/N: Hello people! This is my first ever shot on imagines. I debated a lot with myself whether to publish it or not because I'm an amateur but decided anyway to post it although it is trash lmao. I'm glad you stumbled upon this and read this so thanks a lot. Feel free to tell me what you think about it. I would love to hear your opinions ♥️

Y/N was standing on the shore of the Navagio beach, probably one of the most beautiful beaches around the world, after a trip she and her boyfriend has planned after months of chaos and promotions which were a consequence of Shawn releasing a new album.

Y/N was standing with her feet partially dipped in the cool water washing her feet every now and then and winds gushing against her face making her feel a lot calmer than the previous months. She stood there with her eyes closed while thoughts of Shawn and her having a hard time kept running in the back of her mind. Her eyebrows drew in and she frowned a bit.

Shawn watched the love of her life standing with her shoulders slumped, eyes closed and a slight frown on her face.

Nothing has been easier for him too. While he was months away from Y/N , always upto something regarding his album, he always feared that he might be losing her a little due to the lack of communication between them. He didn't get to tell her how beautiful she looked in her morning gown everyday. He didn't get to hear the giggles which echoed through his ears when he would throw a poorly humoured joke at her and soothed him inside out. Most of all, he didn't get to tell his lady love how much he loved her with every bit of his soul and how badly he craved her touch everyday.

He let out a deep sigh and started taking steps towards Y/N. Five years into the relationship and Y/N still used to smell him somehow even before she saw him.

She feels Shawn approaching her and humming Still The One. Her heart flutters on the image of Shawn singing this very song when they locked eyes for the very first time in Brafen's Cafeteria 7 years down the lane of some beautiful memories.

A pair of strong arms is stretched behind her, engulfing her from behind while Shawn lets his chin rest on her forehead. Shawn lets himself place a sweet kiss on Y/N's hair as he breathes the same tropical fruity smell from her hair and lets his hands draw circles on her tummy underneath her shirt. His touch tingles her. He lights on fire. After all the spark was still there.

Both stand there taking in every emotion and beauty of the moment with him still humming the song. It has been quite a long time since they experienced such an intimate moment.

Suddenly low sniffles start to leave from Y/N's mouth. Shawn was quick to react. He gently turns Y/N around and places his hands on Y/N's cheeks, pulling her closer. More tears start to well up in her eyes and she blinks away the tears from her eyes by looking the other way.

"Baby what's wrong? Look me in the eye baby please." Shawn stutters.

"It's nothing." Y/N replies fighting back tears and putting up a fake smile.

But of course it was too late because they both knew what was wrong. Shawn's eyes too begin to water saying "This is my fault isn't it Y/N?".

Y/N suddenly comes into action when he cries even harder and holds his face in between her tiny hands and cooes "Shhh baby shhh. It isn't your fault. It's just we're having some bad days isn't it? It's gonna go, love. I'm sure" and looks him in the eye, her voice breaking with every word.

Shawn takes her hand in his and places kisses all over it whispering sorry after every kiss. "Y/N baby, I know I've messed up. I've messed up big time. You don't need to defend me this time because I know this is my fault. I neglected you for so many days. I went on days and fuck even weeks! What was I even thinking Y/N!" His voice is low but angry like he's annoyed with himself.

"No it isn't your fault because Shawn I too have to realise that this is not a fairytale! This is not a fucking fairytale where you have to be there for me all the time, telling me you love me. I'm not a princess Shawn. We are grown ups for fuck's sake! You have a passion that you need to follow and I have to support that. So don't worry we'll work this through and I - I - I'll be fine Shawn" her voice croaks at the end.

Shawn is amused of the fact that she's not angry but is sad which only breaks his heart more as she has already accepted the things he was thinking about altering and making it right all over again. Shawn sees through her. He sees a broken soul who once used to be happy.

"No Y/N this is where you are wrong my love " he says with softly running his hands over her cheeks and through her hair.

"I don't know about the fairytale part but you sure are my princess baby. You're the love of my life. I want to tell you how beautiful you are every second until I annoy the shit out of you!" He owns a slight chuckle from her. His heart skips a beat at the sight of this.

"I want to be able to hold you in my arms whenever you're feeling lonely and sad. Whenever you're insecure about any thing I want to tell you that you're my world baby and I don't need anything else other than you in my sight. I love you. I love you. I love you so much Y/N. Fuck I can even tell you that a million times and still not be satisfied. My love for you has no bounds Y/N. I want to be there for you every fucking time but seems like I've been a shitty boyfriend in the past months and I hate whenever I think the cause of your disappointment is me."

"You were never shitty okay and stop swearing so much" she says smiling lightly.

"God! Stop defending me Y/N." he says with a bit of defeat in his tone.

"No Shawn. It's high time that I understand your profession too. God knows how do you carry yourself throughout your hectic schedule everyday. I can't imagine how tired you must always get at the end of the day. I just want you to be happy. I was just scared about losing you Shawn that's it because I don't want to come between you and your passion. I- I'm sorry baby" Y/N says holding herself strong, not letting the fresh tears flow down because that'll only make Shawn feel more distressed.

"No stop that Y/N. You, my dear love, have been with me at every stage of my life and you're my motivation to get through the day Y/N. You're the beauty and the best thing about the relationship we share honey. If anyone that should be sorry here that person should be me because I hate myself right now for letting you feel that you're not my first priority because YOU ARE Y/N! You're my sunshine. My knight in shining armour. I've been so observant of your flaws Y/N that I'm fucking ready to judge others. I'll fight everyone who tells you otherwise and I promise you to not leaving you hanging anymore. I love you until my very last breath baby. I'm gonna tell you how beautiful you are, remind you why I love you because there are probably more than thousands reasons why I'm crazy in love with you and wanna let you know all about it before I take my last breath and what I'm upto everyday. When I sleep, when I eat, when I poo-"

"Shawn stop it you filthy and cheesy dork!" she says laughing. This sound was all he wanted to fill up his ears with.

"But I'm your idiot right?"

"Right dumbass"

"Hey don't call me that!"

"Okay I won't call you DUMBASS which for the record you are but it's okay" she says teasingly.

"I hate you" says Shawn with a pout playing on his lips.

"Oh c'mon you love me!" she says hitting Shawn's chest playfully.

"You bet your ass I do." Shawn giggles and places his lips on hers and kisses her passionately which was long due both whispering I love yous and sweet nothings in between. And after all the trip hasn't been that bad as they both imagined it to be.  🌸

I definitely agree the whole Kie vs her parents arc was very badly handled bc it made her seem more ungrateful than she probably is. I just really couldn't stand her this season, I mean she wasn't my fav character to begin with she definitely already had those moments in S1. I mean she was 80% annoyed with something this season sooo... 💀

I'm kinda surprised that so many ship her with JJ bc I got the impression from her she's rather their friend than be romantically interested in any of them. Like she mostly acts annoyed around JJ, for example in S2ep10 when they both stayed together in the ship container she literally rolled her eyes at him while saying "now it's only us" , so I'm sorry I can't really get on board with this when 85% of their interactions are like this. Or maybe it's just me because I love JJ so much and I think he deserves better idk please don't come for me. 😭 I can totally see her in a relationship outside the friend group plus it's super weird if she would go through every guy in her circle idk. The entire Pope thing was so unnecessary and I still hate her for playing him like that.

Dude I'm way too invested in this show I basically binged the entire thing in two days bc I refused to watch it until this year. I already knew this would happen based on the things I saw on the Internet and I didn't want to add another fictional white boy to my list of characters I'm hopelessly in love with, but here I am daydreaming about JJ Maybank like I predicted a year ago. 🙃🤦🏻‍♀️💀 (might fuck around and start writing fanfics for him bc I can't help myself)

Definitely a highlight of this season was JJ stealing a fucking ambulance bc ofc he would. Like he's so loyal to his friends my heart can't handle this 😭❤️ He definitely has Steve Harrington energy another white boy who stole my heart 😂🙃 I wish both would get more development as normal characters and are not treated as punching bags (literally) and comic relief characters.

I can't wait for season 3 and how this entire thing ends (I heard there will be only three seasons so correct me if I'm wrong). How the fuck will they escape from the island and when will the Camerons finally face the consequences for their actions? 🙃😬

I get what you mean, I feel like the situation between Kie and her parents was handled poorly on both their parts, but I feel like Kie's faults were a bit (teeny) more excusable as she is a teen who thought her best friends had died and then had her parents tell her she couldn't hang out with her friends anymore. But overall, aside from her situation with her parents, Kie did annoy me in both seasons. I really hope in season three, there is more character development for her because she is a good character and has strong morals, but I just feel like she's a bit lost in herself. Which is a big reason I don't like her and JJ together. I just feel like they both have such strong personalities and they would only draw out the worst in each other. I also picked up on the things you pointed out about Kie acting annoyed with JJ and that's another reason I feel like they wouldn't be a good match romantically - more like a brother/sister kinda match would be better I feel. For next season, I would love for Kie to find another person outside of the main circle as well, I feel like that would not only be good for her character development, but it would be interesting for the plot since she is usually the person who doesn't like new people joining the group. And I know I said this before, but it would be great if she was LGBTQ+ because I feel like the writers could incorporate her past behaviours and such into the internalized anger she felt towards herself for being part of the LGBTQ+ because I feel like that is something many people in the community still battle internally about even if they are accepting and I know that a lot of bi people still deal with those feelings (spoken from experience).

My take on the Pope/Kie thing was that Kie knew she didn't like Pope that way. And even if, for a second, she thought she might like him that way, when he stopped her before they had sex expressing how he didn't want to do it if there was a possibility that it would mess up their friendship - she should have respected that and maybe they could have felt the relationship out a bit more before going all in. Especially because it was Pope's first time. I love Kie, I really do, I know it doesn't seem like it from this post, but I feel like the writers aren't doing her character justice. Just like Greys Anatomy destroyed Izzie's character.

Also, don't worry, I binged the entirety of season 2 in one day. Nonstop. I laid in bed for ~10 hours just watching the show because I worked 8 hours the next day and I knew I was gonna be too tired when I got home to watch it and I needed to finish it for my sanity. When I first started watching, I knew JJ was gonna be someone I fell in love with because he is the type I usually fall for, so I tried really hard to fight against it, but I am a white man's whore so I ended up losing. But Pope is my baby, I want to protect him and just save him from everything so it's not just JJ who I am in love with from the show. IF YOU START WRITING FOR JJ PLEASE SEND ME THE FICS I WOULD LOVE TO SUPPORT YOU! I ALSO HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING FICS BECAUSE THEY NEVER COME ACROSS MY DASH SO!

BUT 100%, START WRITING FOR JJ, THERE IS NOT NEARLY ENOUGH OBX CONTENT ANYMORE! YOU WOULD BE AWESOME, TRUST ME, YOU HAVE A REALLY GOOD SENSE ABOUT THE CHARACTERS FOR JUST WATCHING THE ENTIRE SERIES IN TWO DAYS! IF YOU NEED ANY HELP REACH OUT!

And JJ def gives off more chaotic Steve vibes. Loyal, a little dumb sometimes, his heart in the right place, crappy parents, etc. It's pretty much a dead match. Even in between last season and this season, JJ had a lot of character development. He seemed more calm this season, he wasn't getting in fights every episodes. But, I agree, both characters def need more character development and to be beat up less.

I haven't heard anything about them being signed on for more seasons yet, so I'm not sure how many seasons there are going to be. But saying as though it's still in the top 10 and lot of people are streaming it, I feel hopeful that Netflix isn't gonna just cancel it like they love to do. I have a feeling that they might sign on for more than three seasons if the actors are willing (hopefully) since it is such a popular show.

I think they will probably pick up next season with a search being conducted, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Pope will figure a way to get them off or lure help to them. Maybe the coast guard will stumble upon them or Pope will do some cool shit to send a distress signal to them. But since this show is really realistic when it comes to the privileges that rich, powerful, white men hold, I have a sneaking suspicion that Rafe and Ward won't face the consequences for their actions, especially not if Rose continues to help them.

But, please, oh please, start writing for JJ and send me your fics, I would love to read them and support you! I started this blog and writing my fics just because I wanted to try my hand at them, but I also didn't want them cluttering up from drive. I just had so many ideas swirling around my head and I needed a place to put them. I have not regretted the decision to start this blog. It's been the best year. I found so many great people who are supportive, I found followers who are supportive and put up with my randomness and my rants about my life and family.
