jon matteson characters family reunion. richie is ignoring everyone and blasting japanese nightcore on his airpods. roman is here and acting disgusted at the food while linda boasts about her kids (said kids are currently causing mayhem that will probably end in tears). paul has brought emma with him and is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. boy jerry is trying to give him a pep talk on how to propose so he can "do the do" with emma (bj recommends a walk in the woods). the hatchetman bursts in at one point. daniel lost track of time and decided it wasn't worth showing up. gary is happy to be a part of something like he was with the wiggly cult but nobody likes him. wiggly watches for a while then shows up in human form to cause more mayhem, nobody knows who he is, why he looks like them or why he speaks like a toddler but he's freaky and may or may not be on the verge of murder. fun times.

Have you seen Lilia's vignette yet? Our insight into his initial parenting skills sure was, something.
HA HA YEP, Lilia's. questionable parenting has come up a few times and it's always, like, he read Baby Instructions 101 and went "ooh, I like red, I'll do those ones :)". he has Dad Instincts, but unfortunately they are Stereotypical '90s Sitcom Dad Instincts.
it was, however, worth it to see Sebek (watching Lilia gleefully dunking a bat into a coffee cup) just slowly turn to Silver and go "how the fuck are you alive".

Anyway, I'm still kinda loving the idea that the Toa Metru masks are fucking weird by Ta Matoran standards, and that's why Vakama couldn't identify their powers.
Mask-makers have set rules and designs and blueprints for their masks, and then here are the Toa Metru's that are the equivalent of a bumblebee to a plane. Like, sure, both can fly, but one was crafted intentionally, and the other is an organic, messy process of evolution that can only fly through some quirk of physics.
So Vakama's stuck, trying to explain to his fellow Toa that he has no clue what their powers are because a) they weren't crafted by a mask-maker, so have no mark denoting their abilities or level and b) he's never seen these designs in his life and he can't get the others to understand how freaking bizarre they are by traditional mask-making methods
