But, I'm back now, and with a SUPER special surprise for y'all. You're never gonna believe it, I'm joining one of my favorite artist's world tour! You might've heard of him, or maybe you've heard one of his songs, he has sooooooo many good ones after all."

You say into your Instagram live and watch as the comments pour in. Your fans almost demanding you stop teasing them and just spit it out, but you can't do that quite yet.

"You should probably stay, probably stay a couple more days, c'mon let me change your ticket home." You sing into the live, they start spamming the chat with Niall, Louis, and Zayn, but not enough of the guy you want to see.

"Who's that shadow holding me hostage, I've been here for days, who's this whisper telling me that I'm never gonna get away."

They riot chanting Niall because you and Niall are actually good friends. And he is going on tour soon for his new album "The Show". But you're still laughing and someone else is supposed to make a background appearance in your video after making a few comments to see if the fans catch it.

"But if you like causing trouble up in hotel rooms, and if you like having secret little rendezvous, if you like to do the things you know that we shouldn't do, then baby I'm perfect, baby I'm perfect for you."

Harry pops in the comments as you get into the chorus.

"And if you like midnight driving with the windows down and if you like going places we can't even pronounce" you sing

Harry has his first comment typed. And once you start singing it, he posts it.

" If you like to do whatever you've been dreaming about then baby you're perfect, baby you're perfect"

"So let's start right now"

"Yo, was that Harry Styles commenting?"

"OMG IS Y/N JOINING LOT?"

The comment section continues to blow up, and even through Harry sucks at Instagram, you walked him through how to request access to a live.

"So, are you ready for your surprise yet?" You add, smiling cheekily. "He's about to go live with us, Valentines give a huge warm welcome to the Master of Fruits himself," you say, but still haven't gotten Harry's request to join. "Hold on, I'm sure he's just failing at Instagram again," you say to your fans and hit the mute button.

"H!" You holler back to your shared bedroom in his NYC apartment.

You unmute and laugh.

"Harry just texted me Valentines, he is complaining about Instagram not liking him again, Said he can't find the request button. I know, I know, weird right?"

So you mute and go black screen for a minute to "call him back"

You set him up and approve the request so he joins in, but in order to do that, you're the one holding his phone when the video feed pops up for everyone to see. And you hand it back to H.

When you turn your screen back on, the comments have blown up! Like big time!

"HOLY SHIT, ARE Y/N AND HARRY DATING?"

"THEY'RE SLEEPING TOGETHER OMG!"

"MY CELEBRITY SHIP WISH HAS COME TRUE! FINALLY!"

"FUCKING FINALLY!"

You laugh at your own moment of stupidity, and then say screw it. Harry turns his phone off and the two of you give smug smiles to your fans.

"Oops. Well I guess we fucked up that one H." You say to your phone.

Harry can't help but kiss you as you giggle and you push him away playfully.

"SO! We're getting serious again, that was not your super surprise, but I'm sure you enjoyed, and yes we are dating, we have been for almost three years now. BUT, the SUPER DUPER AWESOME SPECIAL SURPRISE IS I'M JOINING HARRY'S LOVE ON TOUR! He got so desperate, he missed me soooo much, that he actually begged and annoyed me about it until I caved."

"Ey, it was a little bit more dignified than that Val."

"Awwwww, he calls her Val!"

"Lawd, why are you two so cute?"

You end the live and Harry just laughs, so are you.

Your laughing quickly turns heated as Harry rolls on top of you and pins you beneath him. Which leads to hot morning sex, after which you glance at your phone.

i don't actually care what people do in the privacy of their own homes, but the only reason people on tumblr make posts about how "you should stop being mean to people about their age play, incest porn" is because most people don't actually keep it private actually, or else other people wouldn't be seeing it and complain about it. like if you go into someone's dms or a locked private space to "out them" for being into scooby doo or even some actually more harmful fantasy than that's still kind of gross and intruding and they shouldn't do that, but if said person is doing it in a PUBLIC FORUM than yeah they're not above criticism because it's their own "private fantasies" when it's clearly not.

So, I usually check your Tumblr for any updates to #IALS, cause I really like the banners. But I was not prepared for this week's banner. The side by side intensity of Mavid was too much for my heart to handle. Holy s@#$!!!!!

And then the chapter? I was crying. Max's heartbreak and just complete disconnection is felt. But Lance? That child has so much strength.

Then all the parallels in the different timelines this chapter! I know all the chapters have some parallel. But I just loved all of them here. Especially little Arthur with his 'we need to brush their hair cause its so silly' (btw that whole scene just made me want to have a baby and I'm so firmly anti-children for my life that its not even funny) and then teen Arthur learning what silly hair means in different contexts!

I did not know about crown day, but I wish we could expand it to South Asia so people can learn to respect curly hair. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a brown girl with their hair tied back and it just being brushed out fuzz. My mom to this day can't accept that she has curly hair that shouldn't be brushed. It makes me so sad that we're so sanitized to fit public standards without realizing.

Then Max validating his son's needs and not sidelining them with the 'but I did this'. I never thought of my experience with my mom like that. That she loves me, but I didn't get that love the way I need so I can internalize it. I am so happy for Lance and Max to reclaim that home life they both so desperately need to heal.

And David, you obsessive French fu@#$!, 😭😭you're working so hard. I can't believe I didn't realize until this chapter just how much even though I could see it. I was stuck on the Jaden of it all!! Cause David chose to date Jaden, he just never even considered the possibility of moving on from Max. He could have chosen to heal in a way that didn't take over his entire life. But he went above and beyond. David just decided that fuck the rest of the world, if its not Max, it doesn't matter. So he chose to stay with Jaden instead of trying to actually find a less painful love. He could have moved on and tried to find someone he could actually love! But he didn't even try! That's so romantic and crazy!!!!

But then the wall scene, dude.😳 Dude.🤯 Dude.😖☠ I have re-read that scene so many times now. If it has me feeling things then RIP Max. David needs to get angry more. Also, I just kept imagining this whole scene of David losing it in front of Jaden and the kids. Jaden would bust a blood vessel 😈 Like yeah dude, compete all you want with Max. Try to get in the way of his relationships with his kids. It doesnt matter.

Also, you know something? I was compiling a list of my fave couples for my friend and #IALS of course made it to the list. But you know what else did? Hannibal and Interview with the Vampire.

your comment about south asians and curly hair is so true because here in SL (curly hair is very common in the north because of genes + humidity) and a lot of girls feel forced to straighten or iron their hair (and save up money) because they feel like they are 'not pretty' if they have curly hair. i am so tempted to write a fucking article about this tbh because this is yet another way of setting and forcing unrealistic beauty standards.

the whole idea of 'tell me how to love you' is not always practical in real as you said. not everyone's love language is the same. but i think this is such a max thing to do. i think he cares enough to make that extra step. in fact, he will see it one more time 👀

And everything you said about David made me so emotional. We'll be digging into some of it in the next chapter! Because you are absolutely right in the sense that what he did was also a sacrifice. dating jaden was not an easy option. i wish we could have explored their relationship more but i couldn't without giving too much away but being with David (if you look closely) caused david a lot of pain too.

Unpopular take, but I dont actually think that JFM preferred Wei Wuxian to Jiang Cheng. I think he was harder on Jiang Cheng BECAUSE he saw him as his true son, and that he needed to put him in a good place to be a leader after him, complicated by the fact that he and MY have very different parenting styles. Wei Wuxian started of as a traumatized toddler, and turned into a favorite disciple who he was willing to let misbehave a bit. All this got escalated bc he cant communicate shit

I’m sure he did love Jiang Cheng, but I also do think he just likes Wei Wuxian better. It happens, even with good parents. Sometimes you just have a kid you connect with really well on a personal level and would be close to even if you met them outside of a family context, and also a kid who that is not true of. You’ve just got to either hide it or thread the needle and make sure all your kids feel secure and loved even if you’re better friends with one of them. I think the sect heir stuff makes it worse, because it means that he does have to be harder on Jiang Cheng, and also because it means there’s another not-fun thing (training his heir) getting in the way of them having an actually enjoyable relationship, but the actual problem is that for whatever reason Jiang Fengmian kind of emotionally absented himself from their relationship. It was probably more about Madame Yu and his feelings about her and their marriage and how she expressed her feelings about his relationship with their son than it was about Jiang Cheng as a person, but at the end of the day if you don’t show up for your kid that’s going to impact your closeness. On top of everything else I think he just doesn’t know Jiang Cheng very well. And their whole deal makes Jiang Cheng all sad and rejected and miserable about what’s so wrong with him that his dad doesn’t like him, which makes him even less fun to be around, and the cycle continues.

Set up: Chrollo took you out on a date. You were thinking this man was just a normal person who you newly started seeing, but when he starts scaring you by talking about things he shouldn't of known or times he's been near you before you'd met, you realize he was anything but normal.

Warnings: some slightly dub-con spice (no nsfw/r*pe but some barely sexual physical touching and sexual talk/references), yandere, swearing, referenced stalking, and oops I added a small 🌵(injury) so enjoy that too,

You jumped out of the car and grabbed your bag, Chrollo shutting the door he had held open for you. You were both in pretty yet realistic attire for your date, considering unlike last time it wasn't in a fancy restaurant, but a forest with a supposed abandoned building.

You suggested it as a fun adventure because of your common love for old places. Supposedly it was an early 1920's church, small and full of things since almost nobody knew about it. If they did they were smart enough to know you don't steal from an old building with a ghostly soul. 'It's enough the place allows you to explore, so you don't disrespect it or steal' you told Chrollo when talking about the love for these finds.

The trail was barely there, grassy and with no new tire marks. Chrollo picked a daisy and handed it to you. "A gift, my dear."

"Why thank you kind sir," you offered back, putting on a mock fancy accent and dramatically dipping with a plié. You both started walking in the direction you pointed and made sure the car was parked deep enough that it wasn't visible from the highway.

"Do you need the flashlight?" He asked.

"Could probably be useful." You said, pulling it out of the bag.

Below you were all the forest-carpet-plants that protected the dirt and bugs. A few branches or knocked over trees made you have to maneuver carefully. You made it a point to climb on the trees and put a hand on each rock, noticing how much it made Chrollo smile.

"No wonder everything loves you so dearly." he stated as he helped you jump down from a rock.

"I wouldn't say everything."

"True, maybe not every human, but I'm sure there are many forests who admire you just as much as I." His words made you blush crimson and you side-eyed him with a smile. He moved nimbly through the woods, even making a habit of pushing each low hanging branch out of the way for you to walk past.

"You're such a gentleman even in the middle of nowhere, huh?"

"Well of course, it's to thank you for taking me out." He put a hand on your back as you both glided through the more easy part, deer trails directing you to your location.

"There's supposed to be old books there." You told Chrollo. He grinned at the idea and laughed when you were quick to add "but don't steal them. If you even try to pick it up they'll probably fall apart."

"Oh you know me, doll. Why would I want to steal them? I mean maybe if they were still readable..." You gave him an elbow in the hip.

The wind swept through the trees but the warm night evened the temperature out. The weather made your energy spike and you raced forward with Chrollo's hand. He followed, stopping right against you and grabbing your shoulders when you halted in front of the church.

"Wow, beautiful." His voice landed right above your ear. The moonlight made the crystal-like glass in the higher windows twinkle. All the lower ones were broken and had shards laying below them, but it looked more animal-caused than human.

Chrollo pulled you in.

The windows reflected moonlight from one another so it was easier to see. Still, you brought out two more flashlights and set them up so they gave the place more coverage while you were there.

You were already walking ahead of Chrollo and into another room. He had stayed put to look at an object that peaked his interest.

Because the walls provided distance you knew it was possible you had heard him wrong when he said something. You hoped.

"This wallpaper reminds me of the old plague hospital on Cherry Creek."

You thought maybe he'd said something else to himself so you chose not to respond. He hadn't gone with you to the hospital. You didn't even know him then.

He soon followed your direction and stood over the table you were looking at. Multiple dusty jewels were set down alongside some drops of candle wax and matches. You didn't like the unsettled freeze you were infected with from earlier, but Chrollo's hand warmed it quickly. Surely it was nothing.

"Come on let's go upstairs!" You said.

He let you go first but held out an arm on the last step of the spiral staircase. To make sure it was stable before going, he put his foot up and pressed around a few times. "Don't want you to fall," he explained.

He let you go up and you pointed the flashlight near a spider web. You cringed as a ladybug crawled off a plant right into it. Disturbing in every way.

Turning around, you saw Chrollo in the room closest to the stairs, running his hand over the dusty top of a bookshelf before catching your eye. The window dead center of the back wall opened him up to moonlight, which flooded in and glowed behind his back like the light that followed an angel; but something was off with the scene. The stained glass made his aura a hellish red and purple, ethereal, yet scaring you for some reason.

He chuckled and walked to the doorway, inviting you in with a hand motion. "Like what you see?"

"Oh definitely,"

In the room were the majority of the books; must've been a library room of sorts. Multiple moths fluttered around the flashlights and bumped your nose a few times. Chrollo watched you adoringly. He caught the biggest one in his hands. It was a Giant Leppard Moth dressed with white wings and decorated in black spots.

He brought it over to you, face leaning close with his forehead touching yours as he opened his hands to show you. "Let's name this one...Zedia" he suggested.

The look you thought was domestic warmth quickly revealed itself as a dangerous playfulness when you shoved him away by his chest.

The moth flew away.

That was not a crossing thought he'd come up with. That was...a taunt? A reference? A sick joke?

You knew a moth named Zedia. One night on your balcony you'd had some of them visit your hanging lamp and you'd talked to them, naming the leppard moth Zedia before going to bed.

You couldn't help but think about the wallpaper incident earlier, and now that something so clear had been said you didn't try to deny that now either. Chrollo was acting weird...weird enough that you even felt comfortable shoving him away.

If your people-pleasing consciousness allowed you to do something that impulsive you were sure you were right. You repeated both instances in your head, nothing could've been misheard could it?

"What the fuck..." you whispered. Chrollo's expression was calculated and his smile had gone cold. He wasn't unhappy he was just a different more true kind of content like everything before had been a facade over what this new presentation was.

"Is something wrong, darling?"

"Why are you acting like that? What the fuck- what are you even talking about?!" Your heartbeat was racing, and needless to say the scenarios in your head took over words that could explain anything to him. Not like you valued explaining what you did when he hadn't explained his part either. What you valued was getting away until what happened could either be disproved or stopped from repeating.

Chrollo leaned and slid his hand down your arm, grabbing your elbow so he could pull it over his shoulder like a hug. You tried to lean away on the left side but he moved your other arm too fast and just as quickly he pulled you against him from your waist.

"Did I say something bad? My apologies, I was simply reminiscing."

"About the wrong- about things you don't know!" You stuttered and broke off your speaking in a rush. You stomped on his feet in frustration and to tried and get away. Chrollo ignored it like a brick. He leaned his face into your neck, then moved up to your jaw with his lips never leaving your skin once.

"This is so entertaining, really. So cute of a reaction." Chrollo was as close as he could possibly get like he was trying to crawl in your skin.

"Get away from me, you're acting insane!"

"Stop screaming you'll disturb any animals." A hand crawled up your back and held your neck. He played with the baby hairs on your nape and pushed your head against his shoulder. He rocked side to side on his feet as if the two of you were dancing. You switched between actually attempting to physically get away and mumbling scattered threats until he sickeningly covered your mouth with two fingers.

They rested on your lips momentarily until he slid them into your mouth. You kicked his shin and only got back a hiss of pain from him. He tried to avoid your kicks like a dancing fool until you got him good in the knee and bit down on the intrusion. Still he didn't let you run away and you both played cat and mouse in each others hold.

You stomped so hard on a board it broke and your ankle fell in. You crumbled down only to be saved and held up by Chrollo, but your foot remained ate up by the wood. You could feel the blood start to run.

"Would you look at that? My dear you can't hurt yourself just because you want to get your way," he scolded softly, "here, here," he whispered and he helped you up. You dropped your flashlight a moment ago and in the dark the blood was barely visible in color and nothing but a shadow smearing over your skin. Chrollo held up your leg and brought you against him again.

His shirt caught some of your tears before his thumb did and you only cried more as you leaned against him. You didn't want to but was the moment really that scary or did you make it so? Maybe you did hear correctly but he never gave an explanation and maybe one was possible? What happened wasn't worth some cinematic run-away with a cut foot was it?

He kept you upwards and steady. His touch put knives in your stomach now but you didn't know who's fault that truly was yet...

Probably his. Something was happening. He didn't try to hide it and kept ruining the dream you tried to secure yourself in.

You were right the first time. You should get away, but how would you?

You yelped and hit your palm against his chest when he led one hand to your ass. He let go, moving to your waist again. You cursed him out lowly and got nothing but a laugh in response.

You leaned against him begrudgingly. You were on the edge of just letting it go and saving it to discuss in the morning yet you knew the problem was too big for that.

He got you downstairs and set you on a counter, getting some bandage wrap and propping up the flashlight.

"Chrollo..." you whispered, he looked up, "are you going to give me an explanation for why you know things you shouldn't?"

'Did that sound too sweet? Should I be more demanding? I don't know if I should play safe or if I should play dirty. What is this game'

He gave a dark laugh as he finished aiding your injury and patted the side of your thigh. "Well, I've known you for a long long time, angel. And as much as I love the idea of this slow progression in our love I've felt I need you closer to me, sooner than acceptable. So I did indulge myself in studying you from the shadows for a while. Still do I suppose." He pulled you close to the edge of the counter by the back of your thighs, cradling your head between his hands and kissing your forehead.

"I actually meant to reveal this so I'm glad you picked up on what I was putting down. After hearing your idea for our date tonight I knew it would be the perfect time to set the plan in motion. Now I'm sure you already hate me so I'll give everything out clear: I'll take you to the base- my house basically, you've never been there because well, there's a lot you don't know yet." He continued.

You weakly attempted to scoot back but Chrollo slid his hands over your thighs to pull you back again. "We can go back to the car anytime now and I'll take you home. Maybe if you're not too mad at me we can have some fun, I've been needing you for a while now."

You shuddered at his touch, trying to think of what you could possibly say. He really meant taking you away; stalking, befriending, and kidnapping you- who was he? What kind of man would speak like this, why was he talking about studying you, stalking you? This wasn't the Chrollo you thought you asked out.

You rasped a response, "You are not taking me anywhere. Please just let me go fucking home I don't want to speak to you again. You're scaring the hell out of me."

He chuckled and squeezed your thigh viciously. It made you swing your leg out and he caught it. "You didn't hear me right," he taunted you as he put your ankle on his shoulder, "I will be getting you to my house whether you like it or not, and you're going to be upset, yes. But you'll get over it. All I want is to take care of you, y/n. Could you imagine never having to work, pay, or worry again, baby?"

"No, you creep! Why the hell would I want to live with you? Leave me," you struggled to get him away somehow, eventually getting a good kick in, "alone!"

He cried out and tripped over his own feet. He managed to get right back where he was though, now grabbing your wrists and holding them in front of you both. He used that to pull you off the table.

Because you could only get one foot on the ground in time you nearly fell. Chrollo held you up, but this time every grip was like claws and he only did it so you wouldn't get away.

"As much as I would like to say your little injury was planned, it seems the universe just has its best interest in my favor. Do you really think you can get away?"

"You're acting like I broke something! Get the fuck off of me!"

"Please, it only takes one small mistake for any chance of someone winning against me to dissipate. Even if you only had a paper cut you still wouldn't be able to get away."

Before you could move, deciding to try anyway, metal hit your wrist and he'd clasped you in handcuffs.

In a flurry of blackout-rage-fighting you ended up on the ground. Chrollo managed to get rope around your legs and sat next to you. His eyes had gone so blank of life you would think he was soulless, but in fact his soul was just horridly dark.

He held you down with one hand whenever you tried to move. He could've had to do more but you'd wasted your energy. The time wasn't even late, but it was late enough it amplified the tiredness you already had. Fighting at your best was just rolling around

He'd recuffed you with your hands in the back. The way they pressed between your weight, the floor, and the restraints made you even more miserable.

Chrollo eventually slid a hand under you, pulling and turning you so his chest was against your back. His legs were in a wide kneeling position so your hands were nearly against his crotch. Before anything could happened he held and kept you from moving them.

You wished he could be naive for one damn second.

"I'm going to try and get you to the car ok? The more dumb things you try the more you'll get hurt, so act good my love."

You couldn't push anger to the top anymore and the heavy terror bubbled over. The crying unmistakably switched from pain to fear and you begged him.

"No, no, please!" You thrashed on the ground, out of energy burst or as a pitiful escape attempt you didn't know. "Just stop- why- just take me home I don't want to, please! Please,"

You hunched over while crying. He listened to your sobbing. You swore it was because he liked the agony but little to your knowledge he didn't quite know himself. Maybe it was of both sick enjoyment and because he needed to think. What a wonder it was to see someone he loved cry. Did he need to stop this?

Chrollo leaned against you entirely. He pulled you back to engulf your frame as much as possible, your cheek being warmed by his hand. You let the dizziness ruin your muscles and keep you from fighting the way he silently comforted you.

"Let's stay here for a minute. I won't speak. Just...calm. You can even try to fall asleep, ok? There's no point in this...rest your mind."

He caught some of your tears and worried about keeping you close. He revelled in this half-compliance. "You know you can always trust me. I've never actually hurt you have I? This isn't too bad." He mumbled. It was more quiet than anything said that night, almost subliminal in its purpose.

You proceeded to sit there with a patched up foot and mind so zoned out it was close to accepting.

Chrollo was thinking to himself, it wasn't a deep planning or scheming, just some inner narration. He pouted at how much work it would be to get you to calm down when you got to the base, how long it would be until you trusted him again and wouldn't be upset. God, he'd waited so long and that was the cause for him deciding to break character early anyway, but he wished he could've quenched the other need at least once first.

He wished he could've waited just a bit so while you had the false illusion of him he'd be allowed to lay you down, explore the treasure he'd hunted for so long and claim you in one way before quickly stealing you as another way. He'd craved you and dreamed of you, yet he admits defeat to himself for forgetting that one important part.

Until then, he still had you with him, just how you would always be. He savored the moment of sitting with you in the abandoned building.

Wherever his hands went seemed sensual no matter what. It was like he derived pleasure from feeling you anywhere; when he reached across your body and rubbed your arms, as he jokingly grabbed your neck and pulled your head back against his like a threat and act of affection simultaneously, the small nose rubs he'd give to your shoulder, or how he'd rest his head against you and his eyelashes would tickle sweetly.

"Alright," he hoisted you over his shoulders suddenly, "Let's go."

wait wait hold up i am actually seething about the reveal

ya boi's not a dabi stan. at all. the only reason i'm remotely interested in his character is if he's actually related to shouto and how that would affect hero society in general. i remember reading the training camp arc, seeing him being one of the villains there, him saying todoroki's full name, and thinking "SIBLINGS?????" because agshdfjlk their EYES are SO SIMILAR!! i really want to give credit to horikoshi being able to portray their similarities from artstyle alone because that's talent.

(it's more apparent in the anime since you see the eye color— but appearance-wise, shouto takes after rei and dabi takes after enji the most, so this definitely isn't the best photo to prove my point...)

anyways,,,, dabi's ideals of heroics fall in line with stain's ideals and so we all already theorized how if he was the long lost big brother touya, it would be because of the fact that his father really wasn't a hero. this makes sense. and so, we're all fucking right. props to us, really, and props to horikoshi for all the foreshadowing because i had fun :)) in terms of story and plot, i think this reveal is fantastic.

alright, on to why dabi is a dick

(i'm assuming this was his choice and no one pressured him after all)

the todoroki family is on the road to recovery!!

- shouto finally visits his mother back in season 2 and visits her every chance he gets. you see the effort he makes and it's nice to see him change from season 1 to 2 (early-roki!!)

(guys he even sends her letters- look at that sparkle by his face!! he's sweet :)) and rei's smile!!!!)

- enji (whether we wanted it or not, i don't mind much personally) is trying to atone for everything he's done to his family

- natsuo, who originally wasn't fond of shouto because he had their father's attention (although he does come to the horrible realization that shouto was one of the most unfortunate) and mother's attention (because she wanted to protect shouto), has a closer relationship with his little brother now (can you believe he didn't even know shouto's favorite food was cold soba until ch. 192?? i was sobbing). he really regrets the prejudice he had against shouto and he's trying to be an actual brother to him now.

- rei's almost recovered enough to be released from the hospital!!

- fuyumi and her idyllic "happy family"– wHICH, BY THE WAY, ALMOST CAME TO FRUITION. their mother coming home, shouto connecting with his siblings, and enji being not-the-way-he-was-before is the best outcome they could have hoped for. and it was happening.

and i realize that all of that setup is for this very moment

this? this. this. this is being broadcasted. to everyone. that means the citizens know that their new #1 hero is directly related to a member of a really bad villain organization (i almost called it a terrorist group oop-).

by ruining endeavor, the citizens faith in heroes will collapse. this also affects shouto's reputation as an upcoming hero, and i am so terrified of what this could mean for him. imagine your career ending before it even started, just when you found your passion for being a hero again. all that progress he's made for himself since starting UA could be seen as pointless to him and i would hate for him to retrogress like that because it's not his fault. i would absolutely hate it if the media starts bashing shouto for being related to a villain, when he was also a victim of abuse.

seeing this look on shouto's face is making me dehydrated istg i'm fucking SOBBING— he doesn't even look angry!! in the last few chapters he was angry and worried for his friends, teachers, father maybe, other heroes... but he just looks sad. and the fact that the panel chooses to show the left side of his face is.... there's so much to unpack.

but yeah, this is being broadcasted. does fuyumi know? the cameo she had showed her working so maybe not. natsuo's cameo showed that he was at a lecture, so he also probably didn't see.

but rei did. that's like- that's the person i would want to keep this from the most.

the effects of this entire reveal genuinely scare me. how will this affect rei's mental state? she'll realize that what enji did is actually so much worse. their first child being a villain?? i'm terrified for how she'll react, she's doing much better in recent chapters after all. her kids are visiting her, shouto sends her letters to keep in touch, and enji sends her flowers and respectfully keeps his distance. i really don't want this reveal to result in a relapse. and if she does relapse, then fuyumi's ideal of a happy family is once again out of arms reach. the future of their mother finally coming back home is so far away again and it's genuinely so heart-breaking.

plus— how will fuyumi's little elementary school students react to her being related to a villain? will the school fire her because of her connection to a villain and how that might cause concerns for students and parents????

it's also hard to say exactly how this will affect shouto and natsuo. natsuo was the closest to touya when they were kids so what would his whole opinion be of what touya's become? will he have a moral crisis?

in terms of moral crisises, i guess i'm more concerned about shouto. the boy knows he wants to forgive his father, but this is just making it so much harder. and after this, will he still want to? and finding out that his own sibling is a villain... remember the stain arc? there were some parallels between midoriya's, iida's, and todoroki's positions in the last chapter and i'm worried about what that could foreshadow. from that arc alone, we know that shouto doesn't agree with stain's views at all [i forgot what he said but it was really compelling]. we know that dabi's a stain follower though, so will this disrupt shouto's sense of justice? i hope not.

but family has always been kind of a weak spot for shouto, hasn't it? i hope this doesn't affect his resolve to be a hero because i do think that there's a way to– somehow– not have a corrupt hero society and i want him to fight for that.

touya being a villain is perfectly valid though, i don't doubt that. it's just disheartening to address that while every other todoroki was working hard to become a normal family, here's their oldest brother, who's not really dead. what's going to become of that altar at their house now?

learning the extent to touya's hatred towards endeavor is truly terrifying. we know enji is or was a horrible person and his redemption arc is based on the very fact that he can't be forgiven, despite some of his family trying their best to do so or at least get over it. but the fact that touya has even thought about killing shouto? that's just. ouch. touya's definitely gone through too much abuse, and all of the todoroki family problems are because of enji's bad parenting. but this does not justify murder and especially that of his younger brother, who also got the brunt of the abuse.

needless to say, i am a fool. i don't know if anything i just said will ever be true, but the important thing to take from whatever the heck i just shat out is that all of this is/could be a result of this reveal. it's the fact that dabi seems to have no sympathy. it's the fact that he doesn't care if his blood related family crashes and burns. really, if this is solely about endeavor and what he did, there's no need to bring the rest of the family into this. rei was sent to a hospital for god's sake. shouto has a scar. it's excessive and unmoral and although questionable ethics and values are key traits of a villain, it doesn't justify how much he's hurting the todorokis.

(look at this shit eating grin he has. no remorse. he really doesn't give a shit about the others but I DO and I'M so SAD)

and assuming that the whole "endeavor's wife admitted into hospital" was swept under the rug in terms of media, will that suddenly come back to light? because it shouldn't. maybe it should be known that she's in the hospital because of marital abuse but either way rei should not be dragged back into this disaster, and neither should the rest of them. there's also a chance that the media will accuse rei of having abused her kids too, which is messed up for different reasons. they're trying so hard to have any semblance of a normal family, and if dabi's way of revealing this to the world ruins that in any way then i hATE THIS REVEAL ASDFGHJKL—

Thoughts and Reaction to Gang of Secrets!

I'm very late today at writing this because life ;-; You know it's a bigger episode when they start off with a problem. Ladybug doesn't want to detransform so she's desperate to find reasons to remain Ladybug. I love how the entire time, Chat Noir knows something's wrong and wants to get her to talk about what it is, but she just tries to pretend she's fine. If anything, Chat Noir would probably be the best person to talk to considering everything he's dealt with too both with Kagami and his responsibility as Chat! She could mention that she was seeing someone but they broke up because of her secret, and she could tell him how much being the Guardian's having an affect on her. All perfectly well and good without exposing any identities or things like that with questions for details asked. Instead she puts up a front with him and pretends she's okay in front of him and it's just so sad. :/ I understand why she doesn't, probably because she doesn't want him to know how much she's struggling. But ugh my heart hurts for her. Chat: I know where we can go where we won't have to talk! Ladybug: Yes, take me there Chat! *in the theater* Ladybug: You lead me into a trap. I MEAN HE'S NOT WRONG THOUGH! Not many places you can go where it's okay or encouraged to not talk without there being an awkward silence. But that cracked me UP. Also that casual attempt to wrap his arm around her lolol still hasn't give up, I see. I also find it simultaneously hilarious and extremely depressing that Ladybug's ranting like that in the theater because of a romance movie. When your heart is broken, that's probably the last thing you want to be doing. And Chat Noir yanking her down asking that she be quiet 😂 Literally just rants her entire love life out for everyone including Chat to hear in that theater. Because the pain I feel for her wasn't already enough. Ugh I adore Trixx. Trixx being the voice of reason when Tikki's not there, trying to help and letting her know that Tikki may need to rest too when she's so upset it doesn't cross her mind. And the tears in her eyes when she apologizes to Tikki for not thinking of her like she should. ;-; SO MUCH PAIN. OH DANG Alya was literally a second away from seeing a detransforming Marinette lol But she did say DETRANSFORMATION or well in the English dub it'll be "Spots

off" I love Rose, she's really sweet. and considerate But she also shouldn't be touching things in others rooms like that. I never liked it when my friends went around my room touching stuff. Also didn't help that a couple of them stole from me... but it's just not a cool thing to do. Would've probably ended up much better had she not had to desperately hide an exposed Miracle Box. But then we wouldn't have had what happens so it's all good c: Marinette saying she doesn't want to be friends with the girls anymore

This entire exchange right here. Alya's glance at her in the first picture is piercing, like I can feel that OOF feeling in my chest when I see it. The new music dramatizes it so well that a lot of people probably didn't pay attention to it the first time around. Can we just appreciate how these animators got all these emotions so right and did such a good job animating everything for us? And those that work on the music too? Everything's so spot on. Marinette's red-rimmed eyes is so well done. "No, it can't end like this!" Awww Alix getting super upset too x3 I honestly think Alix could be the next one.... you know what I mean BUT I'll wait until the end to talk about it. Trixx pulling a Plagg and rescuing Marinette! x3 I seriously love Trixx, I really do. I know the other Kwami's got mad, but if he hadn't done that it would've been disaster, probably. And the episode wouldn't have ended how it did! And Plagg knowing it was Trixx who caused the Eiffel Tower to be all weird xD Why do I get the feeling the relationship between Trixx and Plagg would be like that of Chat Noir and Rena Rouge? And I want to point out, we got 7 whole seconds of Adrien again! Aren't we lucky? The last time we got so little of Adrien in an episode was when we had his parallel episode Lies. I don't think that'll happen this time but I do hope it means more Adrien later on. Ladybug: They're after Marinette Dupain-Cheng. Chat Noir: Okay but remember everybody likes her (so don't go thinking she's a bad person for causing their akumatizations) Yes, I read between the lines. Ladybug being able to get through to Lady Wifi and have her deakumatize herself was absolutely amazing! I know Chloe was the first to fight off being akumatized but once you're akumatized it's obviously extremely hard to break. That says a lot about Alya. "Because you're an incredible friend, Ladybug." One, AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW Two, did you notice the little jerk of her head, gesturing to Ladybug like that when she said it?? It's the little details guys that make this so good. 😍 "Chat Noir, nooooo!" Guys, we got our tiny little Marichat scene! It's not actually real, but still! (okay but why do I also get this really weird feeling like something like this may end up being real later?) Alya giving Ladybug that hug 😭 Marinette has such good, supportive friends. I love them all. x.x YES THANK YOU. Alya's finally realizing there are more things going on with her than just boys. One of the things that's always irked me since Chameleon is that any issue Marinette has, be it with Lila or otherwise, she always assumes it has to do with Adrien. Of course, at the time she didn't know she was Ladybug but she should've still listened and realized there's something else up. But now she finally is noticing and I love how she was going to respect her regardless and not push. Pushing has always been one of Alya's characteristics, but she knew whatever it was was something too big and serious to push her on. "Marinette, I'm your best friend, and I always will be." 😭😭😭 This episode brought me so close to tears so many times. Marinette admitting she's keeping secrets, lying to everyone. Admitting that that's why she draws a line between her and Adrien, and why her and Luka didn't work out. Alya saying however heavy it is, they'll carry it together (MY HEART) And then Marinette saying "If I tell you, things between us will never be the same. It's going to destroy everything, change it all." It sounds like this girl is thinking about Chat Blanc and oop there's the sound of my heart breaking again. So much paaaain. "Je suis Ladybug." YESSSSSSS Why they had to leave it off on a cliffhanger But YESSSSSSS First, the expressions she had flash on her face, the gasp 😮, then the expression like she's trying to get her mind to process. Then if you notice, Marinette gives a little nod, as if letting her know that it's true. Then the way her eyebrows furrow and pulls her into the hug as she understands all that she has on her shoulders as that music plays. I'm getting

emotional just writing this. 😭 This episode is just so amazingly good in so many ways, I don't think I can actually cover it all. I'm very impressed. I've loved nearly every episode this show has put out, even those that a lot of people seem to hate. But this one, I don't see how this could actually be hated if you're trying to think of everything that happened from Marinette's point of view, her thoughts, feelings, struggles, depression. I will say, personally I hoped Chat Noir would learn who Ladybug is first. He's been such a good partner, very thoughtful, always putting his life on the line. He's also been dealing with a lot of the same struggles. I felt like he deserved to know first. However, this isn't about who deserves what, it's about what Marinette needs. It's not that she doesn't want to tell him who she is! Don't misunderstand. There are many times throughout the past 3 seasons where she wants to or regrets not being able to. But now, Chat Blanc's in her mind. She knows what could happen if she tells him with Hawk Moth still there, so she can't do it. So instead, she tries to pretend in front of him that she's fine even though talking to him about everything would help and fix so much. In her mind, that's not an option. I just hope that when he finds out she told someone else first, he doesn't think that she doesn't trust him enough to tell him. Next I thought maybe Alix. That way it'd be more understandable to Chat that she'd know, after all future Bunnyx clearly knows and said to Ladybug that she chose her because she's capable of keeping secrets (notice how Alya said that to Ladybug in the alley? I bet Alix will find out in the near future. Maybe not this season, but she'll find out.) But that's for another time. But now Alya knows! Her best friend, the one to have her back and will no doubt have it even more so now! Watch out, Lila. Alya doesn't hold back so I can imagine how vicious she could be to her (and I can't wait). And that brings up a very interesting thought. Alya will realize Adrien has been the only one to have her back in Lila situations. Why would he do that, hmm? When everyone else was so sure Lila's an angel and Marinette must be bad for saying anything negative about her. Journalist Alya, incoming! There's also the matters of Alya bringing up Marinette's feelings for Chat Noir because duh, everybody can see how much she loves him! There are even photos of them kissing, one of which happened in front of Alya's own eyes! Though affected by an akuma, they all know that kiss didn't happen because of it. And of course, Alya has brought up twice in the show so far that Adrien and Chat Noir could be the same person. And last time Alya said that neither of them could be Ladybug and Chat Noir. Except, she's now found out that Marinette is Ladybug. So maybe Adrien could after all be Chat Noir. I look forward to seeing how their new dynamic is. I wonder how this affects their relationship with the other girls. And I'm most curious about how Nino and Adrien may react to this change. I thought during Truth and Lies both that their best friends were going to find out about their breakups. Gang of Secrets was Alya finding out. Even though I feel like another parallel episode is just wishful thinking, I can't help but think it may be a possibility. Nino and the boys are going to wonder what's up with Adrien too. They're going to wonder why he's not with Kagami anymore so suddenly. So what if i the end, Chat Noir ends up telling Nino? I could see it, if this takes place shortly after Gang of Secrets, where she tells Chat that she's confided her identity in a very close friend and somehow they agree that he can tell someone too that he trusts to make it fair. It'd be an amazing way to exercise Ladybug's trust in Chat Noir too. Then we'd have both Alya and Nino in on it, keeping their best friend's secrets for them without knowing about the other one. Oh that'd be so beautiful! And also let them keep their Miraculouses too after the charms are given to them and Alya has the ability to break

free after being akumatized. I adore Rena and Carapace so much I'd be ecstatic if they kept them. 😭 Anyway, so much potential can come out of this episode and I honestly cannot wait until episode 4!!

It works very much like illusions. Ranbob can see him but can't touch him. While Dream can touch him (though it feel like more of a faint touch). The entire time Ranbob feels like he's dreaming but due to physical evidence, like notes left by Dream, he knows it isn't a dream. He's just kinda existing. But in actuality he's not completely "there", sometimes he is aware of what's going on (though he never remembers more often than not) but that's when Dream allows it, other than that he's either floating aimlessly in the void or dreaming. Not aware of what's happening. 

Definitely, Enderman tend to be 7 ft+. Infact when traveling and Enderman spot Ranbob, they always voice their worry about him being so short. They know he's a hybrid so he was always going to be shorter than them, but he shouldn't have been this short. His growth is permanently stunted. Its a miracle he even got those 2 inches to be honest. Ran was definitely caught off guard seeing Ranbob so short. But quickly dismissed it in favor of attacking him. But later on as time passes, he can't dismiss the unease and concern he gets when he thinks about the difference so easily as he did eailer. The Gladiators notice right away but don't comment on it, the Fishermen think Ranbobs height is normal so when they meet Ran and learn Enderman hybrids typically grow that big and bigger their caught off guard, Cletus and Charles attempt to question Ran what its like to be so tall but Benjamin stops them. 

He did, the Dream Mask has a small bit of it broken off due to it being dropped (Ranbob didn't break it. He suspects maybe when it was being transferred it got dropped in its holding box and thats what broke it). Ranbob picked it up because he meant to throw it away, but he forgot too. Giving Dream more time to get a hold on him. They talked about whatever came to mind at first since Benjamin didn't want to start off with the rough questions. But eventually the two did start to talk about what happened to Ranbob and who/what Dream was.

Dream does not consider it important enough because he thinks he's never going back there. So it falls into disrepair and gets all dusty with some mold even growing in the room. 

Dreams petty and likes being in control of everything. But Dream would just kinda wander, making sure no ones alive. Every now and again he'll get bored and just destroy something. The fishermen explored and read about the history of Mizu while they were there, then after Ranbob attacked them spent most of the time arguing about what to do with him. 

It just leads to Cletus being mean/rude to Ranbob and taking much longer than the others to be comfortable around him. If that's what you mean.

Yes! When it was down to just 4 people left alive in Mizu, Ran stumbled upon the 4th person dead, then it all kind of clicks in his head, as the only other person currently alive is a Council Member, that it has to be his brother. So he rushes off to find the Council Member so they can stop Ranbob, only to find Ranbob standing over his dead corpse. Thats when the chase around Mizu ticks off that ends with Ran fleeing Mizu. 

Cause while spiders are passive in daytime, creepers aren't, and don't burn in the light. Plus they are loud with their explodes (yet oddly quiet) which can give his position away.

Eh I'll say. Their not really super common because mixing them can cause serious side effects during and after mixture. But the healing, sleep aids, and infection mixtures are common as they've been figured out and can safely be made. Fun fact: Subbin actually has an entire community and an official place in the government for figuring out potion mixtures, making new ones, and making the mixing process as safe as possible. 

The group doesn't really use the mixtures much, expect for Rans sleep aid and a every now and again healing mixture when a Pit match goes wrong. Cause Grievous used to intern in a potion shop and learned all about them then.

Your right! Not many people traverse it. Because he was a Technoblade follower, and they typically get taught the bare basics of surviving in environments like the Nether, deserts, snow, caves, etc in their teachings. He got da book from his Idol teachers, everyone in his Idol group got a book as well.

There's gold coins (I forget the actual in-game name oop) ore deposits in the Nether, so he mines that. Not any specific ones, cause there is still a language barrier and a mostly gesture barrier (expect for the universal ones like wait, ok/good, no harm, etc). 

They made a group decision to try to check the Nether on a whim. Though mostly cause one guy just wouldn't shut up about it. They found a broken portal and managed to repair it enough to enter.

The Fishermen and Ranbob where kinda confused (cause Ran hadn't fully told them about his time on the run.) But expressed sympathy at his house being burned down. Jackie and Grievous wanted to search it for anything usable, Ran didn't let em cause he thinks there's nothing left. Watson shoots Ran a sympathetic look and declared that he wants to keep moving to find shelter. Benjamin quickly agreeing and the group moves on.

Honestly, most of them were fine. Bad was the only one who was mad and wasn't ok with it. The Masquerade, The Pit, Sam, Sapnap, Quackity, Foolish, Ranboo, Skeppy, Tubbo, Tommy, and Karl all say the Egg wrote it because they all have had experience with the Egg. The Haunted Mansion, The Wild West, George, Fundy, Eret, Jack, Niki, and Puffy all say XD because they've either had no experience with the Egg or believe in XD's existence. Philza and Technoblade actually go both ways. (If I forgot someone, oops). 

Technoblade, Phil, Niki, The Pit, The Wild West, Puffy, Sapnap, and Sam are all on the Frontline. While the others are all split between research into the egg (The Masquerade is in this one of course), and running tests. Fundy is a runner, delivering orders, requests, or new information. Foolish is on both the researching, testing, and frontlines, he is on the frontlines when needed but otherwise is researching and testing. Karl is typically somewhere with one of the many Traveler groups. Quackity, Eret, and Sam (when not on frontlines) are on planning duties. 

The Egg is strong enough to propose a real and constant threat to the groups. Everyone is typically on the move to avoid the reaching of the Egg and its Eggpire. 

Bad hasn't gotten what he wants, which is Skeppy. And as he has "opened his eyes" a bit he sees the hypocrisy, manipulation, and lies that surround the Egg and wants out.

Ye ye Brothers AU sorry.

The fishermen get to their home, wake up the next day, and Ranbob is already making a field for wheat and potatoes. Benjamin fucking squawks and races out to make Ranbob stop. And Isaac eventually has to come out and help cause Ranbob is refusing to leave. Cletus laughs at Ranbob and makes fun of him but stops when he sees Charles sadly staring at him. A silent ask to stop. 

He does but Porkius is chill and let's the Gladiators do whatever they want as long as they are still in fighting condition for matches and gives them money every week. Plus he's chill and is kinda friends with them. But sometimes Porkius has them go to extravagant parties with him. They all hate going, not just Ran. Mostly cause the rich people are snobs and either 1. Constantly insult them in conversation than act surprised when they get mad at them and report it to Porkius. 2. Talk with them but talk exclusively about themselves and are insensitive to the Gladiators. But sometimes there's actually people at the parties who are genuinely curious and kind and want to get to know the Gladiators. Those conversations are pleasant and the Gladiators, no matter who it is, actively enjoy the conversation.

Ran has always been mischievous. Even witnessing murder, being traumatized, hunted constantly, and fighting non-stop hasn't changed that. If anything he got more mischievous over time. 

Something extra I wanted to share: 

-There is music in world and the player the Gladiators share get brought on the trip so they can play music the entire time. 

  -Ran and Grievous fight over who gets to pick music often.

    -Fun fact about why I did this: Every single part of this story and all others has been either created by or inspired by music. For example the Tip of The Iceberg AU was solely inspired by the song True North (by Vocal Line), while Brothers AU was made from Ruler of Everything (by Tally Hall) and partly Mind Electric (by Miracle Musical). So I wanted to include music somehow. (I actually have a entire playlist with music that I've used for certain parts of the Brothers AU.)

So Thor brought him back to Midgard and He was being punished by having to be an Agent of Shield against his will and being under 24/7 surveillance which you hated, you didn't see him ever since you avoided him and shot him a glare every time you DID see him.

Powers and abilities: you are half Asgardian so long life span, stronger then Midgardians, heal faster than Midgardians. You are a master assassin even better then Natasha was also kept in the red room but never had graduation since your younger and your parents found you and took you out before Natasha was graduated. There's a knock at my door so I answer "who is it?" I hear Natasha say "it's me Nat" I respond "come in" and I unlock the door and Nat comes in and asks "you, ok [Name]?" Nat says into the phone "i'll go get them and you can let us know our mission" Fury responds through the phone "ok" Natasha says "I'll put you on hold Fury."

Your POV

I just went to the library and grabbed a book and sat down just then I heard someone walk by and clear their throat and I look up from my seat and see Loki so I give him a sarcastic grin and then look back down to my book and cross my legs on top each other in a comfortable position and I hear Loki say "excuse me?" I ignore him and he says again in a more annoyed tone "excuse me!?" I growl and look up to him and ask "what!?" I look back down and he says "excuse me, mortal?!"

I snap my head up to him and snap "what?! And I am NOT Mortal sadly, I wish I was but I'm not, now WHAT do you want, your highness?" The last part was dripping with sarcasm Loki says "your sitting in my seat" I reply "well, boohoo, get lost because I don't give a fuck! You royal arrogant asshole!"

Loki responds "fine, then I'll sit there" he points to the seat next to me which I quickly put my legs onto and say "NOPE! That's reserved Loki says " oh, really? For who?" I respond "for my legs are you blind?" Loki throws my legs off but I kick him in the face and say innocently but with sarcasm "oops, didn't know that was your face, sorry."

I get up but Loki stops me by trapping me against the bookshelf and asks "why do you hate me so much?" I reply "easy, your arrogant, egotistical, selfish and a jackass!" I try to escape but Loki doesn't let me and Loki says "really, I know it's not just that" I reply "alright, you wanna know the rest then fine, you killed my family mercilessly easy because of your a jackass and a monster."

I snap "now LET ME GO! Or you'll regret it!" Loki replies "please i'm a god, you couldn't harm me in the slightest way" I challenge "oh, really, you think you're better than everyone?" I ignite my hands on fire and squeeze his wrists burning him and I question him "hurts, doesn't it?" Loki tries giving me a straight face but winces in pain and I smirk in satisfactory "I thought so."

He moves so I can escape and winces in pain and rubs his arm so he's no longer trapping me and I flip him off and say "Fuck you little bastard!" I throw my hair that came out of the ponytail over my shoulder and I leave to get a new book since I finished the one I was reading.

Loki's thoughts after that: "I like this Mortal, she's vicious and beautiful also fun to mess with she's feisty, just for a woman she dresses weirdly, no make-up at least I think. boyish- but still girlish yet clothing, no jewellery and a very strange attitude."

I grabbed a new book and went back to the soft bean bags and saw he was sitting on the one I was on before so I give him a glare and he just smirks while reading his book and he has his legs on the other one so I give him an unimpressed expression and he smirks while reading I pull the second beanbag out from under his legs and I 'accidentally' kick him in the crotch.

And he groans in pain and glares at me in pain still and I smirk and say innocently "oops" and I take the beanbag and sit away from him and just when I open my book and start reading i'm interrupted by Natasha which slightly ticks me off.

3rd POV

Natasha says to you "[Name], we have a mission" you groan and place your bookmark in the book and put it on the ground beside you and ask "what is it?" Nat responds "we need Loki as well unfortunately and luckily you two were in the same place at the same time" you say to Nat "I don't think that asshole can hear you."

Nat sighs and you shout "hey bozo!" Loki looks up from his book and glares at you and you shout "yeah, you idiot murderer, with hideous clothing" Loki glares and stays in his spot so you roll your eyes and say "get your ass over here!" Loki growls angrily and comes over and asks "what is so important that you MUST bother me while I read?! Weak Mortal!" You shout for the hundredth time "is not mortal you little shit I'm only half I wish I were completely mortal but I'm not so, shut the fuck up! There's something important to discuss."

Loki scoffs "fine, what?" Natasha puts her phone off hold and says "I suggest that we go to the table" so the three of you go to the table in the library and Natasha puts her phone on speakerphone and says "hello, Fury I've got them here now" Fury says through the phone "ok, well this is an important mission, the mission is there is a terrorist boat full of dangerous weapons and illegal weapons, a small shipment but still and I need the three of you to stop it from making it to the destination and I need you three to destroy them, but however there are hostages aboard the ship which you need to save and stop the shipment do whatever it takes to save the innocents and stop the shipments."

You ask "and why do we need the idiot to help out? Not like he'll be any use to us, why not just Nat and I?" Fury responds through the phone "it's too dangerous for just you two" you ask "then why not replace the idiot with someone I dont know..... Useful?" Fury replies "quit your complaining, you sound like a child and it'll either be just you and Laufeyson or the three of you your choice."

You groan and say "well Fury, I'm sorry as much as I like killing bad guys and saving good peoples lives I am gonna have to respectfully decline and putting bad guys where they belong" you shoot Loki a death glare and Fury says "well, too bad you dont have a choice, any other complaints?" Loki says "yes, I can't do this with HER, so I refuse," Fury says "too damn bad Laufeyson, we technically own you and if we didn't you'd be dead, a Quinjet sill be there soon to pick the three of you up an take you to shield HQ to get your equipment and Romanoff you need to check and take save any Shield intel, I expect all of you to put your hatred aside and work as a team, Romanoff is mainly there so [L/N] doesn't murder Laufeyson or the other way around, get ready the Quinjet should be there in a an hour, which'll leave you three with approximately 2 hours once you reach the destination to stop these weapons from reaching their destination."

With that Fury hangs up and all evidence of that conversation is erased automatically you say to Natasha "Nat?" She asks "what?" You reply "let's spar, I NEED to train a bit and blow off some steam" Natasha replies "I'm sorry [F/N] I can't I wanted to spend time with Bruce and the team" you reply "ugh, ok, then I'll train by myself."

Nat says "sorry, you might hate me for even suggesting this, but spar with him," you say in disbelief "heck no!" Loki says "and I refuse to train well spar with YOU, of all people."

You leave the library along with Nat and you go to your room and quickly go to the training room alone and you sigh unhappily once you get to the training room and you go over to the punching beg.

Using the right gear, you punch it hard and fast repeatedly in a frustrated way and while you're beating up the punching bag you think "ok, actually now I wouldn't mind sparring with Loki, it might be fun to beat the shit out of him, but I'm pretty sure he meant it when he refused" you hear someone walk in and say "I didn't think that the poor thing hurt you" you look and see Loki and you can't help but laugh quietly.

Loki comments "is that laughter I hear?'" You respond in a vicious tone "shut up, why are you here anyway?" Loki replies "because I changed my mind, I'll spar with you" you reply "well, it's too late now" Loki responds "are you sure now?" You reply "ok, fine, but dont get mad if I kick your ass" you leave the punching bag and go over to Loki

Loki says "you won't be able to kick my ass" you reply "sure, sure DONT underestimate me," Loki says "I won't but dont underestimate me either" you reply "weapons or magic?" Loki says "you know magic?" You reply "a bit yes and I can control fire, long-story-short my Dad whom you murdered mercilessly was Asgardian and taught me some Asgardian Magic," Loki asks "do you know how to do illusions?" You reply "not really, I mainly know Asgardian fighting and earth fighting and I can use fire magic."

You make a little flame dance on your hand and then make a little fire Cat appear on your hand and Loki says "that's actually fascinating" you reply "umm thanks? I guess" Loki replies "I'm sorry" you respond "for what?" Loki replies "for everything" you respond "are you ok?" Loki shrugs and answers "perhaps not" you reply "ok, well lets spar I want to get some training done before we have to leave for the mission and you better not screw it up."

Loki replies "more, like you better not" you growl basically and say in a competitive tone "lets spar," Loki says "ok, but weapons or magic?" You reply "just weapons, you're probably crappy with a weapon" Loki replies "oh, really? I don't do just magic, I do daggers as well and not to brag but I'm quite skilled with them" you reply sarcastically "sure."

Loki says "you'll see" you reply "what kind of weapons?" Loki asks "what weapons do you normally use?" You reply "my skills and shield weapons, but when I trained with my Dad I used small blades or well small knives, similar to daggers but different, but if I'm gonna use it I need to go get it" Loki replies "ok, well hurry, I'll just be waiting here."

You leave and quickly go to your room and you go to the drawer that you had it in and unfold it from the cloth you wrapped it in and took it out of the sheath and stroked your finger on it and say to yourself "Dad, mom brother, I'm sorry I would take this opportunity to kill him but I can't, everybody would notice, one day I WILL avenge all of you, I WILL kill him just not now, I'll at least get some of his blood shed onto here."

You put it back into its sheath and go to the training room and you see Loki waiting for you to return patiently and he gets up when you reach and you ask "don't you need your dagger" he uses his magic and makes one appear and says "I already have one."

You attack Loki without warning and just barely miss his arm and he laughs and mocks "you missed" you cuss "crap" and ask "you've got good reflexes huh?" you add "well, I've got better Reflexes" Loki lunges an attack on you but you avoid it and twist his hand around so his own weapon is pointing at his own throat and Loki says "maybe, I did underestimate you, I'm not gonna go easy on you now" you reply "ok, that's fine."

You and Loki spar for almost an hour both with scratches when you cut his cheek and make him bleed and he says "impressive, it's not easy to draw blood, but then again your half Asgardian" he wipes it off but it keeps on bleeding and he cuts your arm slightly leaving a tiny cut.

Natasha walks in and says "you two, quintet just got here let's go, so quickly change and then come on I'll be waiting by the door that leads outside" you nod and you say to Loki "you might wanna clean up that wound" Loki replies "I know" you and Loki leave and you say "as much as I hate saying this, your.... Decent at sparring" Loki replies "as much as I hate to say it as well, so are you."

You reply "ugh, I hate myself for this so much but, maybe we should spar again sometime, ugh your... A good sparring partner" Loki replies stiffly "I agree and so are you."

You and Loki go two different directions and you think "Dad, Mom, Big Brother I am SO sorry I know I shouldn't be making friends with the enemy, I am SO deeply, sincerely sorry, I've failed but I swear on my life I WILL avenge you, all of you, at least I'll try."

You quickly change out of your gym clothes and put deodorant and perfume on you gather some of your equipment since most of it was at shield HQ and you go and find Natasha waiting and she asks "where is he?" You reply "I have no idea, I dont keep fucking tabs on him!" Nat says "woah, sorry [Name] calm down."

Loki comes and sighs and says "let's get this over with" you see he's wearing his armour and say "you are SUCH An idiot!" Loki looks confused at you and asks "what did I do?" You reply "you can't go on a SHIELD mission in THAT!" Loki challenges "oh and why not?!" You facepalm and ask "have you been on ANY Shield missions at ALL?!" Loki responds "no" you reply "of, course you haven't, well what you're wearing it attracts WAY too much attention, working fo Shield you need something that doesn't attract attention but I'm sure shield has something for you to wear."

Natasha says "[Name] is right you can't wear that on a shield mission, it attracts too much attention but I'm sure Fury has something," you say to Nat "he's probably going to have to wear something like what Clint wears" Natasha replies "probably," Loki says "I'm still here and I REFUSE to wear something like that" you reply "your gonna have to."

You, Nat and unfortunately Loki board the Quinjet and fly off to Shield HQ on your way you say to Natasha "It feels like I haven't been on a mission in forever" Natasha replies "yeah, it has been a while" you reply "missions are my life, I've missed them, I'm never gonna give up my life working for Shield, its the best" Nat replies "yeah, Shield is nice they give everyone a second chance."

Loki just sits silently and looks at the ground and asks "how do you two get along so well?" You reply "we're best friends and we went through the same thing."

---------time skip----------

The three of you reach HQ and the door opens and the three of you get off and go in and go to the equipment room and Fury walks in and says "Agent [L/N], it's been a while, one of our top agents its good to see you and Romanoff good see you as well, I see Laufeyson actually came, figured he'd escape somehow" you reply "I'm shocked as well and it's good to see you, director" Fury says "Laufeyson, we, have some equipment for you, seeing as you dont have anything other than your Asgardian armour which will attract too much attention, its still your style but it's dark colours that won't attract attention, follow me Agent Laufeyson."

Loki follows after Fury, while you and Nat get your equipment and once you two have equipment on Loki returns and you can't help but look him up and town and take in how good he looks once you notice he notices you look at your shoes and Nat says "let's go."

You reach your destination and Natasha says "[L/N], Laufeyson both of you to save the hostages and then destroy the illegal weapons if possible you nod and Loki asks Natasha " why do you get to make the orders here?" Natasha replies "I have way more experience that's why now while I go save any Shield intel and you two NEED to work together, [L/N] you get to give Laufeyson orders" you nod and Loki grits his teeth together angrily and Natasha goes on.

Loki growls quietly "why must I listen to YOU?!" You reply "easy you've never been out in the field and I have, therefore I have more experience, now shut up and stop complaining you sound like a little boy" Loki spits "EXCUSE ME?!" You say nothing but saying "we're supposed to work as a team so just Fucking listen to me PLEASE" Loki scoffs "Fine."

.....later.....

You and Loki find the hostages but see that they're heavily guarded and you whisper to Loki "we need to do whatever it takes to get in their Laufeyson, which means you can kill the bad guys but not, the victims."

He nods and says "I'll go the other direction" you give him a thumbs up and he goes and you go and you both bust the doors down and you attacked by a bunch of guys but burn some of them and kill them by throwing them at the wall with force and snapping there necks another one attacks you and your hand is on flame and you put it on there throat and burn a hole hearing gurgling sound and they fall lifeless to the floor.

Loki says "and you call me merciless" you hiss "shut up" and you speak into your ear com "we've got the hostages, we need someone to come and get them" you hear Agent Hill on the other end "someone will be there right away" you reply "ok."

you and Loki untie the hostages and get rid of their gags and they look scared so you reassure them "someone will be here to get all of you home soon" they all nod and soon a Quinjet large enough for them arrives with one of the shield agents that you recognize but don't remember the name of and after all the innocents get on board they fly away.

Natasha finds you and Loki and asks "the victims are safe?" You nod and she says "well now, we need to destroy those weapons."

You nod and all go to where the weapons are located and find a jackpot you say "if we want to do this the easy way I could just burn this ship down, my fire is so strong that they'll melt" Nat says "check if that's allowed" you nod and say into your com "can I just burn this place down?" You hear Fury "yes, but do it once a ride comes I'll send one immediately."

A few minutes later a Quinjet arrives and you set the weapons on fire you're all on your way out when someone puts something on your mouth and nose and you pass out seeing Natasha ln the Quinjet and no sign of Loki.

After that, it was all black.

Genuinely it would be healthy for you to log off from twitter for a week and realize that people are not out to cancel you every second of the day. Nobody is going to cancel you because you watched a movie that has an actor in it that was "cancelled". It's not healthy to take this whole online cancel thing this personally.

But in all honesty, me "complaining" about cancel culture shouldn't be defined as "unhealthy". Especially when it's me venting and a sort of defense mechanism so people know where I stand on the issue and won't cancel me. And especially after I've suffered through it since 2014. And when multiple friends have gone through similar situations, I know it's not just me and it's a terrible culture that I wish could stop. We don't have IRL friends who like the same interests so why are we being so sharpshooted online when there's this expectation for everyone to be perfect?

And what's funny is it's true. Not every second. But when it's happened multiple times, and I've been harassed for literally *years* (my 25th birthday was just an entire day filled with hate messages lol), I have a right to be able to vent. One mistake 4 years ago lead to a 30+ year old harassing me once every 6 months until last summer and telling people how horrible I am.

When watching Taxi Driver makes me a p*do? Because of the scandal with him during the summer of 2020 that has since gone away. The way Brad Pitt was canceled for a week then loved again but countless fans got hate mail that week. I just try to put it out there that no one is perfect and I encourage growth and change (excluding rapists, murderers, the worst of the worst, etc.)

Last night I was happy Jay Lethal came to AEW. A minute later I got spammed DMs that "oh hey he was exposed as an alleged abuser during #SpeakingOut."

I literally got *threatened* last week because I like The Undertaker and I didn't know the shirt he was wearing for Veterans Day (which apparently makes me MAGA), was designed by a guy who back in 2017 was arrested for war crimes. Since I didn't know his life story I got hate.

So it's just a defense mechanism to *try* to prevent further harassment where I can be allowed to enjoy what I want.

I mean if me asking a close friend for a year how they're doing makes me an "abuser" and causes a section of a fandom to be angry at me and I literally have no idea why, that's not OK.

When a girl gets mad at me and my friends for getting likes by a fave and then says the fave sexually harassed her blatantly lying and admitting she wanted to end his career so she lied.

I've seen it all. So just me constantly saying "people can change and grow excluding the worst of the worst" so people know me watching a movie does not equate my support for problematic behavior so I can try to avoid canceling shouldn't be an issue. But I will make sure it doesn't consume me.

Granted it can be overhwleming and exhausting and no "real" friend would do that but since I see it happen weekly on Twitter I just have to be careful and just not let it affect me to the point that it harms my health.

I know many who won't watch Polanski films for obvious reasons. But if someone likes Chinatown or Rosemary's Baby, doesn't mean they're now a supporter of p*dophilia. I won't label someone that if they watch said film.

Thank you for reaching out. I know true people won't cancel but after all I've been through where the slightest support equates support of the person and their problematic behavior, when no one is perfect and this makes me feel people just want you to stare at a wall, it's just the least I can do to avoid conflict. It shows just how far out I go to avoid said conflict. The main thing I will do is make sure it doesn't affect me mentally and physically in a harmful way but I can only hope people can understand that me watching a movie does not equate support of said bad behavior.
