So I went on a binge research of plus size Asian models and Yumi Nu is THE FIRST to make it in Sport Illistrated. Still happy for her

The first plus size Asian model for the United Kingdom, specifically Britain

For the record, I was fully aware of the Piggy Dolls and still hate all the backlash they got because Asia just can't handle plus size talented women. I still stand by my statement that Yumi Nu making Hong Kong Vogue is immense progress because while the west is more accepting of these curvy ladies, the east is no where close and the stigma still exists in Asian American families to this day.

i absolutely hate complaining about weight to anyone smaller than me bcs I'll be like "i literally can't find clothes that both fit me properly and look good, and the stuff that I actually feel comfortable in costs an arm and a leg, not to mention i will get called unhealthy for literally existing and I feel like I don't deserve to take up as much space as I do and I have to keep up this facade of the Happy Bubbly Fat Girl™ even though I'm super depressed most of the time " and then the skinny person will be like "omg I'm so fat 😖🥺 I'm at 150 pounds but I wanna be 130 I understand exactly how you feel 🥺😭😔😣"
