you sat on tsukishima’s bed, your eyes scanning and examining everything in his room. the manga piled on his desk, the fossil models on his flowing shelf. his room was definitely not what you expected it to be.

“do you mind?” he interrupted your thoughts. grumbling about how the two of you are supposed to be studying and not doing nothing. “sorry” you quickly reply.

“it’s just that…” you trail off, thinking of the right way to phrase this. “just what?” he pushes his glasses to the top of his nose smoothly as he gathers his books to join you on his bed. “your room doesn’t match like…you” you gesture at him. his attitude, demeanor, and just overall energy that you get from him.

“sorry don’t share everything about my personal life” he rolls his eyes at you, whilst you smile at him. “it’s just that the the person who inhabits this room does not look like they would call me an idiot forgetting one question wrong on the science homework” you shove his shoulder playfully.

“it was an easy question! i still don’t know how you got it wrong” he laughs, his honey-golden eyes look like they’ve been basked in sunlight.

he makes his way to the bed as he looks at you as you begin to focus on your studies. he’s eyes questioning you— no examining you.

did you look like this before? the way your tongue stuck out as you struggled to answer a question, and how beautiful your eyes were glowing and pretty.

“are we studying or are you gonna keep fangirling over me?” you tease, not once looking up from your paper. he rolls his eyes, feeling his cheeks slightly turn red.

 “i’m not even staring at you” he’s snarkily replies. you put your pen down, to finally look up at him, only to see that his eyes are staring completely into yours. the silence within his room is heavy, thick. so much so that it could be cut with a knife.

you see his eyes flicker from every single feature on your face, your eyes, your nose, an scar you have, your beauty marks and finally his eyes stumble across your lips. his fingers make it up to your chin, his fingers behind your ear as he pulls you. the two of you are now nose to nose.

your eyes immediately shut closed, not ready for what’s gonna happen next. then suddenly, you feel his lips on yours. your hand makes it up to his chest to support yourself. he brings you in closer deepening the kiss.

when he finally pulls back to see you and says with a small smirk on his face, he whispers “i think we’re supposed to be studying.”

You give a small smile, not daring to point it out, lest this grumpy demon stops

Mammon

A movie night with Mammon was always fun, no matter how many times it has happened

You two were just watching a movie, picking apart some of the inaccuracies and making fun of some of the decisions the characters make

It wasn't long before you heard soft yet noticeable purring coming from Mammon, as he leans on you

You lean on him in return and close your eyes to listen to him purring

You could practically feel the blush radiating off him as he seems to purr only louder

Leviathan

You were gaming with Levi in his room

The only sound was you two furiously mashing buttons and the game's music/sound effects

During a cutscene however, you noticed Levi looking at you, slowly blinking while a light blush was evident on his cheeks

You give him a smile and continue with the game, it took a second for Levi to collect himself before continuing as well

His small bits of affection continued, as he gathered up the confidence to scoot a little closer to you

Satan

Whether you two would be reading or doing some studying, whenever this cat obsessed romantic is with you, he feels at peace, and thus he does both of these quite often

On rare occasions when he would fall asleep before you during studying or reading, you can hear him softly purring or he gives you a slow, tired blink before drifting off to snooze land

He trusts you, a lot. And it is quite easy to tell

Satan doesn't deny it, but he is quite flustered when asked about it

Asmodeus

Much different then Satan, is Asmo.

He has zero shame is showing his affection and trust for you

Asmo will coo, purr and cling onto your arm in public (or just the first two if you don't like PDA, he respects boundaries!)

However, in more closed doors, he is more calm

An occurrence that has happened more then a few times, is that he would be painting your nails in his or your room, and he would just look up at you, with an expression of trust before giving you a smile and blinking softly a few times

Of course you give him a smile back

He stares back at your half painted nails with a more thoughtful look

"Hun.. Can you promise me something?"

"What's up, Asmo?"

"Well.. I'm not afraid to admit that I trust you, a lot actually.. But.. Can you promise me not to break that trust... please..?"

"Of course!"

"Good, I'll be holding you to that~"

Beelzebub

Beel isn't shy about showing the world how much he trusts you

But it is more often that you two would be in the kitchen, or binging a show that he would slowly blink at you

His purring isn't the most subtle, so you might catch onto that first before noticing him slowly blinking

When he notices you looking at him, he'll smile happily before offering some of the snacks he has on hand

Belphegor

Belphie and trust aren't two things that typically goes together, even after you came along and helped him

It took a bit, after Lesson 16 to decide on whether he should fully trust you or not

It was a typical day, the youngest was using your lap as a pillow while you scrolled through your phone

It didn't take long for you to notice him purring as he laid on your lap, he held more of a grip on you as well, as if scared someone would take away his comfy pillow

If you mention it later on, he'll grow a bit flustered

"Well... Yea.. That's because I trust you..."

Diavolo

If you thought Beel's purrs weren't subtle, wait till you hear Diavolo's

This prince is typically one to not keep his cards far away from his chest ~~so to speak~~ from people that aren't his close companions

And lucky for you, you happen to be one of those close companions!

You were going over plans for a RAD event with Dia, and this man was looking at you with so much fondness and attention

And that's when you heard loud purring and saw him slowly blinking at you

You couldn't deny it was cute, this giant puppy of a man looking at you with so much trust, no wonder he put you in charge of this event!

You give a smile before continuing explaining your plans

Barbatos

Similar to Belphie, Barbatos giving his trust to people is rare, but not unheard of (but he refuses to give his trust to Solomon, RIP)

He shows it in subtle ways, yet if you were observant enough, you'd catch onto them

You two had just finished a trip to the human world tea shop, and now he was just making tea for the two of you

When he finished, he gives you your cup and takes his own cup in his hands before sitting beside you

Comfortable silence filled the air, with small bits of chatter and a bit of noise coming from other places in the castle

Eventually, you start to hear purring coming from the butler, it took everything in you not to squeal of happiness, so you just gave a smile

When he notices your wide grin, he gives a small chuckle and sips his tea, but that doesn't cover up his rosy pink cheeks

@spaloonbabooguuscooties, @cassettess, and I weave intricate webs which scarcely see the light of day and I am rabid like a dog to show them. This is all like suuuper informal but <3

Daisy herself has a lot of shit! Going on! <3 As one might imagine of a very psychically and mentally unstable individual <3! Born a psychic by the name of ‘Deborah Sun Day,’ she dropped out of college at 19 and changed her name to ‘Daisy Sunny Daze’ (not legally) in order to pursue the fad 60s dream of ‘like, saving the world with the power of love, man <3’ She was restless with little direction, so when the ‘Summer of Love’ came around and so many others were doing to same, it gave her some kind of purpose to ‘join the cause.’

She ran off to some commune up in the mountains, one which was formed in the specific place it was due to the ‘enhanced spiritual connection’ and ‘magnetic attraction’ so many felt in the area. This was, in reality, an undiscovered deposit of Psilerium. As an almost mythical substance to so many non-psychics, when they eventually found traces of the stone, no one really knew what it was. However, the effects were still felt. Hallucinations and that same ‘magnetic attraction’ were common. But, as most of the stones found were rather small, the effects never became much of an issue. The people in the commune began to make jewelry of the stuff and used them in meditations and the like (but I can go into more detail later).

Despite the obvious ‘enhanced spiritual nature’ of the area, the ‘Summer of Love’ and the hippie movement as a whole began to fade eventually.

When people started leaving in droves once the 70s came around, that ‘purpose’ Daisy had felt (far diminished at this point but she has to cling to something. She really doesn’t have that much going for her otherwise.) was being threatened. She, in a desperate plea (as well as not exactly being fully sound of mind in her haze of psilerium and psychedelics), began to hypnotize others into staying.

That’s the main gist of Daisy herself! <3 She kinda becomes the ‘leader’ of the commune once…everyone else there is pretty much under her hypnotic control due to the vague ambient hypnosis effects she develops with the overuse of her abilities and overexposure to psilerium. <3. Eventually she starts hypnotizing randoms into staying as well, anyone she can convince to come visit in the few trips to town she makes, but! I can!!!!! Go into more detail about that later <3.

Please come home (Genesis x Reader angst)

You awoke to the sound of your alarm clock blaring loudly; disturbing your slumber. Sighing, you rolled over and slapped the snooze button, eager to get that annoying beeping to go away. With a groan, you slowly sat up, rubbed your eyes, and found your eyes wandering over to a framed picture of you and your lover, Genesis, that you'd kept by your bedside ever since it was taken, demonstrating how dearly you treasured that memory. Feeling a wave of sad nostalgia wash over you, you picked up the picture and stared at it, somberly taking in every detail.

You and Genesis had been sitting under a Banora White tree, dark green leaves surrounding the ground around you two. You were lying on Genesis' chest; he'd had one arm draped around your shoulder, caressing it, while his free hand held LOVELESS, that book of poetry he adored so much. Both of you were smiling at the camera, looking so loving and peaceful in that moment.

You turned and looked back at your messy bed, seeing that the sheets were rumpled from where you'd been sleeping. Normally, Genesis would be lying on the other side of the bed; the sheets there would have been ruffled as well. But not today.

"Not anymore." You mumbled sadly, wiping your teary eyes with your hand. With a deep sigh, you placed the picture back down on the nightstand and stood up, trudging towards the window to pull back the shade and let some much needed light into your room. Despite the bright sunlight that soon flooded your room, you still felt as if the world was gray. Ever since Genesis deserted Shinra and left you all alone, the world had lost its shine.

"Why'd you have to leave, Gen?" You whispered, knowing full well he couldn't hear you.

"Don't you have any idea how lonely I am?" You sighed and turned away from the window, heading for the bathroom to freshen up and start what was sure to be a dreary day. As you entered the bathroom, you spotted some of Genesis' things--little possessions that reminded you of him. Two bottles of shampoo sat on the shower caddy, one (f/s) and one apple scented. Two toothbrushes sat in the cup by the sink, one (f/c) and one red. A bottle of your cologne/perfume sat on the bathroom shelf next to all your personal hygiene supplies, next to it was a bottle of fruity cologne. Genesis' cologne. Occasionally, during your loneliest nights, you'd spritz some of that cologne onto one of his old coats and snuggle with it, pretending it was him.

But even though it had his sent, it was not the same. Nothing was ever the same. You went through your morning routine monotonously; carrying on like a robot, going through the motions of the day as if you were programmed to do nothing else.

Later that night, after a long day of boring, soul-sucking, automonous work, you made yourself a cup of (f/d) and stared out the window, gazing down onto the bustling streets, watching couples as they walked together, holding hands and chattering away cheerfully. How you wished you could do the same with Genesis. How you wished he was there in that moment, wrapping his strong arms around your waist, clasping you against his body as he always did, nuzzling your neck and pressing kisses to your cheeks. You'd give absolutely anything to be able to experience all that again.

"Please," You whimpered, your voice cracking as tears rolled down your cheeks and the beverage you were holding crashed to the floor. You dropped to your knees, buried your face in your hands, and broke down into wailing sobs.

"Please, angel, please come home."

Like the reader is still 100% human, they just so happen to have the power to transform into a crow (kind of like Atsushi in BSD)

It would be so cute if Mammon's familiars recognise you as one of their own and since you can communicate with you even when you're in human form they like to fly to you and tell you all about how much they love Mammon (and the fact that he has a huge crush on you and talks about you to them 24/7) - the crows consider Mammon as their dad so they're trying to play matchmaker

Imagine if you hang out with Mammon in your crow form and he has no idea who you are but can tell that you're not one of his babies familiars. Even so he's still softly cooing at you and is being sweet as he strokes your feathers and scratches your chin being all cute and gentle and then he somehow tells you all about his crush on you so you tease him by transforming back into a human and giggle at his shocked face

Of course you start dating and you tell him everything that the crows told you (he pouts at them and scolds them for snitchin' on him) and now not only does he have a lover but also another crow in his murder and the crows get another doting parent so really they're the real winners in this.

The first time Mammon saw you in the council hall, he knew something was up, he couldn’t put his finger on it though. He felt… connected to you somehow, his memory may not be the best at times, but he never remembers meeting you in the human world before all this.

As you stayed, he noticed some similarities between you and his crows. You liked mimicking things, be it phrases or poses. He saw you mimic Simeon’s hand on hip pose once during the castle tour, or even Levi’s overeager yell, which he did not like coming out of another person's mouth.

Mammon was quick to realize you didn’t need his protection! You somehow got out of many of the dangerous situations unscathed thanks to your inhuman speed, dexterity, and flexibility. Levi trying to attack you during the TSL quiz? You got out of there without getting hurt!

If that wasn’t enough to make him fall in love with you, it’s also the fact that you got along with his familiars that you seemed so similar to splendidly, and that’s one of the things that made him fall harder. Sometimes he’d come to his room and see you on his couch with some crows flying around you.

For some reason, you were hanging out with him a lot, even rejecting the others just to, say, go to the movie together! Mammon wasn’t complaining, he adores your company, but there were so many options, why choose him?

As his crush grew, he had no one to talk to about it, so he talked about his growing love for this exchange student to his beloved familiars, while babying them of course. It was a particularly boring day where Mammon had chosen to baby one of his crows and rant about his crush on you.

“MC is just really cool, an’ this growin’ adoration won’t go away! They are just a human! Why am I falling this hard for a human!?”

This is how his usual talks went, one minute he'd be praising you, the other he’d be screaming into a pillow.

As he was in bed, screaming into the fluffy pillows, the same crow he was babying before lands at the other side of his bed. He doesn’t pay attention to it until he hears some noises and a weight at his feet.

As he slowly lifts his head to look up, the look on his face went from frustration to surprise, with his mouth agape as he saw the very human he was falling in love with was grinning widely and stupidly. Stumbling to sit up, he sputters, his cheeks heating up.

“W-When did you get here!?!”

“I was here the whole time!”

“What? That can’t be true!”

You scoot closer, still having that wide grin.

“Want me to prove it to ya?” You mimic his accent and the way his arms cross.

“I’d like to see you try!”

Seconds later, in a flurry of black feathers, a crow stood where you once were, squawking happily and triumphantly as Mammon’s eyes grew wider.

As quickly as the crow appeared, it disappeared, and you were back.

“Yer a crow!?!” Mammon yells.

“Well, technically a crow shapeshifter, but yea!” You laugh, which causes the other crows that came in from the window to sort of mimic the laughter.

“So.. You were the one I was talking to about my crush…”

“Yep! The other crows often tell me how you talk about me almost all the time, although I don’t need the other crows to tell me that, since your brothers tell me that too.”

“Ughh… This is probably the worst day of my life..”

“Well, would it make it better if I told you I loved you too?”

Mammon took a minute to process that before his whole face became red and he hid his face in his hands.

“…M-Maybe it would..”

“Well, you should thank your crows. They were the ones who attempted to make us closer. They convinced me to hang out with you more.. Not that I needed much convincing, mind you.”

Mammon, at this point, had calmed down enough to not be a tomato. He shakily nods as three crows in particular flew over and squawked happily. Mammon was quick to t

“So you three were the ringleaders, eh? Not surprised.” Mammon gives a toothy grin and pets the crows chests as a thank you. The one in the front decided to slide Mammon’s gold ring off his finger and fly away.

“Wha- Hey!!”

You laugh as Mammon launches off the bed to chase after the thief of a crow, who you both knew was just playing around.
