6. No idea if you like the ghosts-haunting-the-wrong-turtle enough to keep running with it, but I think it’s a really funny.

First of all, the ghosts waiting for the nth time— which is n times too many!— to see if Ronin will live (I don’t think he’s making it out of this one, guys…) and reviewing what the welcome wagon will say (We missed you, we’re proud of you, living the longest doesn’t make you the oldest—) when his spirit just goes *pop*. Dead silence, if you will.

And thus begins a mutiversal ghost hunt. (“Hello other dead us-es, have you seen an extra Mikey ghost around?” “No, but have you seen a lost Donny?”) They bop around a few universes until— yep, Mike’s soul is definitely SOMEWHERE in this universe. Wow! Things are weird and dense here.

Mikey: Hello, ghostly apparitions that look worryingly like my brothers! How are we today?

Ghosts: *water bubbling, fire crackling, wind howling*

Mikey: …I see!

(I can’t imagine the ghosts could like… communicate verbally to the living, or it would blow the whole identity issue wide open. They open their mouths and it’s just… ambient sounds related to their death.)

If there were ghosts, I think Splinter would 100% sense them, but initially be unable to tell who/what they are. Are some sewer maintenance workers haunting his house???? (No Michelangelo, he says, while doing the spiritual equivalent of shooing the ghosts away with a broom, I don’t think these things you are seeing are cause for concern, but let me know if it continues.)

The ghosts meanwhile, are in for a bit of a ride.

They do go on a little ghostly adventure for their missing brother, mostly when they feel something pull on them when someone we know experiences a rather shattering revelation before being pushed off a building.

The ghosts do actually speak like that :O With how the 2012 universe goes, I thought it'd be nice to have the Ronin boys look/sound a little creepier. Since 2012 is so messed up lmao.

Splinter does, in fact, sense them and can't seem to put a finger on their identity, especially a certain one he feels only when he's meditating.

Truly, I haven't thought much if they could see Tang Shen, but i believe they'd only be able to sense her, really.

I've been thinking about Blue Eye Samurai, Mizu...and the Phoenix Crest of the Bride & the Ronin story.

Cause the first thing I associate with phoenixes is resurrection (though I'm not sure the actual japanese phoenix works like that - but it's an American production after all). Like in the Tale, the Bride comes back after being killed by the Ronin (with the phoenix at her side). And in Blue Eye Samurai, many time does Mizu almost meet death. She's injured, she's stabbed, and she makes it out alive. But in relation to the story of how the Bride died & became and Onryō...it looks like maybe Mizu has symbolically died several times, and come back several times and each time has an effect on her.

The first time she's stabbed, the result is rather positive. She's thrown off the "demon path" of hatred, finds her mother back, rediscovers her identity as a woman, and falls in love. Like the Ronin, hatred has weakened her, and love has given her her strength back. But that first stab is followed by another metaphorical stab ; Mikio/her mother's betrayal (both are probably blended as she suspects them both & loses them both). And also if you want to go that far it happens right after she first has sex with someone, that she's "penetrated" (which would explain her distant & disdainful relation to it later). And that one reverses everything. She's an Onryō again. All she'd claimed back she abandons. She only takes a weapon improvement with her, something to be more efficient to kill (the naginata). She's changed for the worse, like in the story.

Since her next stabbing when she's against the thousand claws army parallels that sad story, it also makes her "come back" even worse. She refuses to be considered a samurai or to keep a code of ethics. She hurts both Ringo & Akemi, betraying their trust in her.

The next time she's almost dead is after raising Fowler's castle & failing to kill him - she gets badly hurt on the way up and then receives a bullet that wounds her and breaks her own sword - but she manages to save Taigen. She's a bit better this time, and it coincides with love/friendship again - that she feels for Ringo, and kinda for Taigen (also romantic undertones there). But Swordfarther still identifies her as lost - the storm in her "rages beyond control". She's still too deep in the demon's path. She has come back still eager to draw blood.

So, he advises her to light a fire. Mizu generally goes to water, and is directly associated, but there she steps out of her element (though it reminds me of the "an ember can light the way" bit in the beginning - she's far from disconnected from that element). And she goes to the element associated to the fiery phoenix. She completes the melting of her sword, she completes a cycle of healing/rebirth. She even symbolically deals with her broken relation to sex, as she uses a technique Madame Kaji showed her in her brothel & her scene is paralleled with Akemi having fullfilling sex with her husband.

She is then truly reborn, and even if she doesn't stray from the demon's path, & the fire grows, leading to the burning of Edo.

And also the aspect of the "revelation of a particular bloodline" given that Mizu's parentage is under suspicion and we might expect an exceptionally noble origin to warrant all this effort (and money) put into killing her and thus making sure her existence isn't known.

So I adore your worldbuilding and how you've mixed the worlds of the show and movie-

That being said, I'm curious how a three-way crossover between the legacyverse, the show, and the movie would go. Into the Ninjaverse, if you will

I'm not even gonna lie, I daydream about this all the time—

Show!Kai is Legacy!Kai but much more aggressive, while Movie!Kai is Legacy!Kai but more passive. They spend most of their time trying to puzzle out how they all wound up so different despite leading similar lives. Movie!Kai does have a conniption over Legacy!Kai once being friends with Chad (and not Show!Kai asking Legacy!Kai for dating tips gfdsgfd)

Show!Jay = Bastard!Jay and Movie!Jay= Uwu!Jay.......so, both are immensely jealous of Legacy!Jay who somehow gets the best of both worlds, on top of being able to teleport and fly consistently (but Legacy!Jay is the one that nearly loses an eye, so who's really losing here) (also, since Movie!Jay is actually single, Sunni starts rubbing her hands together like "my chance at LAST")

Legacy!Cole is vastly unimpressed with the other Coles (to him, one cares way too much while the other doesn't care nearly enough) and struggle to find common ground with each other since, unlike the Kais, their upbringings all turned out way, way different from each other (but of course all of them do unite in their passion for music/dancing)

Legacy!Zane learning that he has no mother (!!!) and that his father dies twice instead (!!!!!!) in Showverse, along with discovering just how robotic he is Movieverse, even without turning titanium. Multiple mental crises ensue.

All three versions of Nya are just chilling, although Show!Nya has some reservations about the other two "surrendering their independence" to be ninja, while Movie!Nya can't even fathom ever not wanting to be a ninja. Legacy!Nya sympathizes with both sides and thus is torn about her own decisions.

The only real sources of shock for the Lloyds are Legacy!Lloyd's op abilities and their age differences. Show!Lloyd is like 10 (if this is during the first half of S2), Legacy!Lloyd just turned 14, and Movie!Lloyd just turned 16, so their levels of life experience are quite different. They are, however, unified in the distress over their dad of course (and Show!Lloyd is a little envious of the other two getting to have their mom in their lives). Show and Movie agree that Legacy is probably the most terrifying out of the three of them, for reasons they can't quite explain why.

Jesse reveling in there being three Coles lmao, but then subsequently freaking out because he simply does not exist in Showverse (or worse, he's just that Fuchsia Ninja from Crystalized lmfao) and is basically useless in Movieverse. Legacy!Cole assures him that he is glad he gets to love have him in their universe tho.

Legacy!Olivia in outrage that there is no Shark Army in Showverse, and horrified at what does go down in the Movieverse. She is, however, a little distressed that her father (who is not her counterpart's father) is alive in Movieverse...but it's her alter-self that winds up getting killed. Whoa, man.

Legacy!Harumi getting real concerned when she can't find her Movie!counterpart, on top of how much worse Show!Harumi's life is than hers, against the odds. She starts dreading what *she's* gonna be in for, if her life can't seem to find peace in any universe–

Legacy!Antonia can't find her counterparts (as she believes they just haven't met their ninja yet, which technically isn't wrong) and thus has way more fun riling up everyone else and documenting all their difference. She also tends to play mediator for everyone else when things get out of hand

in honor of my birthday, I would like to introduce y’all to my favorite ninjago OC…

Meet Akuja Asare, Master of Nightmares

Deadpan, decisive, and only slightly disturbing, Akuja is a historian exploring this new map to try and untangle the histories of the merged lands. She travels with a cast of colorful characters who share the same goal, hoping to explain the merge while uncovering new histories along the way. Akuja wants to live a peaceful life traveling, reading, and hopefully contributing to history books. And, hey, with the merge helping her to manifest these new elemental powers, what’s not to like?

However, her past seems to haunt her, as she relives nightmares she’d long since escaped.

I see her as a Ronin type character, sometimes an ally, sometimes an enemy depending on the situation. She holds the key to valuable information, but she’s not gonna make it easy for you, and if she does, you should be suspicious. Sometimes the ninja have information she didn’t know, but she’d never tell them that. She sees herself as a guardian of this new history so may test you to see if you’re worthy. (Basically, all of her expository dialogue comes with at least one emotional revelation of some type. A fair trade off in my book 😙)

A late addition to my Aku related ramblings, but I might have her interact with Dr. LaRow. One dedicated to the past and its mysteries while the other works fervently to push into the future. I wonder what would happen if LaRow needed some information on the source dragons from her…

Anyways… 2/3 of her outfits attempt to mix gothic (both lolita and regular goth) styles with African, specifically Ghanaian, designs, even if that design is mostly just using a kente cloth overlay 😅. Uhhhh this was my first time trying out this style fusion type thing so I’m still working out the kinks. It didn’t help that I designed her first “battle outfit” from the back, making it a lil wonky from the front. Either way, I’m still happy with how she turned out!

I’m open to any questions about this girlie or her band of archaeologists, historians, and anthropologists from across the merged realms, but that is all I have for you for now. I am going to now be at peace 🕴️

To The Last Ronin Becomes a Discord Admin Au

I've been thinking and an idea came to mind after I read the chapters where Mutant Mayhem turtles appeared.

What would happen if Aus turtles like Ghost in a Shell or Two Souls join the server?

Wow, that would be a really interesting concept! And do you mean like both of them joining at the same time? Because that would be wild!

First off, that would mean that there would be three versions of the the Rise kids on the server, lol. The chaos that would ensue. All 3 of the Rise Leos are either gonna ban together to cause problems for everyone else or they’re gonna be catty af to each other. And the conundrum the Rise kids would feel to whether or not tell their younger counterparts of what would happen. Do they warn them? Are they cagey? Their realities are already so different, would it even matter?

While there’s still gonna be bound to have some sillies now and then – plenty of ghost based puns – it’ll inevitably somber up as everyone’s situations are revealed. I mean, one of the first things the turtles in the main fic did was send their pictures to Ronin! No one is gonna have a good time after the revelations.

I’m Not as Stupid as You Think

Baxter Stockman blinked himself awake. Wait. Awake? Blinked? Those two things shouldn’t be possible. His eyeball didn’t have an eyelid, and sleep hadn’t been something that was truly possible since he had become a disembodied brain. Not, at least, since that disastrous attempt at having a cloned body, when he was working under Bishop.

That’s when it hit him. It wasn’t just that he had woken up and that he had blinked, it was more than that. Startled, Stockman looked down. He… he had a body. But how? He hadn’t been doing any active experiments with this, not for years. And yet, somehow, he had a body.

Slowly, Stockman stood up. His body seemed to be working perfectly. More than that, he could feel everything. The weight of his glasses on his face, the slacks, dress shirt, shoes, and lab coat he had on. The coolness in the air. He could hear the rustle of his movements without them being filtered by a speaker, see without the distortion of fluid or the limitations of one eye. He could smell—

--he could smell. And it smelled awful. The kind of awful, pervasive smell that was so strong, it was like you could taste it.

Stockman looked around. Where was he? It was dark, and he couldn’t see much of anything. There was the sound of water—perhaps dripping? Maybe slowly flowing?—and the walls felt rough and slightly curved. Directly behind him, the wall felt like it might have caved in. He let his eyes adjust and, as they did, he could just barely make out that light seemed to be coming from one direction.

Stockman was not a stupid man. He knew it was likely that whatever lay in that direction was going to be trouble for him. However, Stockman was also a self-assured man. He knew that he really didn’t have any other choice, seeing as there was no other way go, but he was certain that, whatever he came into, he could handle it.

So, reveling in his new senses, Stockman walked in that direction. He wasn’t sure if it was his eyes adjusting or the presence of more light—both, he assumed—but things began to become clearer to him. He quickly realized that he was in some sort of sewer system, although he wasn’t sure of the caved in and crumbling side tunnels were a sign of bad repair, or a sign that someone was pushing him to go in a particular direction.

As the light grew brighter, the tunnel also grew dryer, and the smell decreased to some degree. An odd opening of some sort stood in front of him, and, somewhat cautiously, Stockman entered it. He recognized it right away.

“The turtles’ lair?” he said, looking around. “Hm. Seems like no one is home.”

It did, indeed, seem to be one of the homes of the turtles. He knew that they had several homes over the years, as different ones were discovered or destroyed. He’d help take down a couple of them. This one, while unfamiliar to him, still held the hallmarks of a turtle lair. The training equipment, the mementoes, the technology—especially the technology.

Which was odd, considering—

A noise from behind him caught Stockman’s ear, and he turned around. Nothing was there. Or nothing seemed to be there. It was hard to tell with ninjas. He’d learned that early on. He went to scan what was happening with his bionic components, and then remembered that he didn’t have them. Strange to think that he was missing not being entirely human, but he was definitely missing that right now.

“But just because I don’t have access to scanning equipment right now doesn’t mean it has to stay that way,” Stockman said to himself, and made his way over to what was clearly a lab.

Stockman scoffed as he looked at the lab. It was an open-air concept feeding right out into the common area. The computers were ancient, and most of the half-built technology looked as if it had been cobbled together from trash and unusable parts. Still, Stockman couldn’t deny that the Purple-banded turtle was a genius, even if he wasn’t at Stockman’s level, and he knew that getting into the computer wasn’t going to be particularly easy.

He booted it up, and, as soon as it was ready, got to work. It did take him a while to break through the firewalls that the turtle had put up, but he managed, of course, to break through them. To his satisfaction, the turtle did, indeed, have cameras and sensors up. To his frustration, they weren’t picking up anything but him.

“Hm, must have just been some paranoia,” Stockman said. He turned to look at the lair again. “Well, as long as I’m here, I might as well have a look around. After all, what’s going to hurt me here?”

That was, apparently, the wrong thing to say, because the temperature seemed to drop a couple of degrees out of nowhere. Stockman felt chill bumps rise on his skin, and he rubbed his arms for warmth.

“Hm. The—the heating system must be faulty. Yes, that’s it. After all, I’m sure there’s not been much maintenance on it,” Stockman said, trying to rationalize away and ignore the unease he was feeling.

Stepping beyond the boundaries of the lab, Stockman took a moment to explore the lair. Comic books, novels, video games, movies, artwork, much of that was lying around and not hard to spot. He peeked in each of the rooms, looking to see what might be in there. He noted how the different personalities of each of the turtles seemed to be reflected in the rooms, but he never stayed in one long. Something about them just creeped him out.

The bedrooms were all very personalized, but little things just creeped him out. Like a feeling of being watched in Leonardo’s room, and thinking he saw a candle lit, when there was no way that one could be lit. It was just a trick of the light, obviously. A feeling of being stalked grew on him in Raphael’s room, and he could have sworn that the hammock was not rocking when he came in, although he chalked that up to air flow making it move. He felt like he was being observed in Donatello’s room, and a whir and clack from a device that had powered up had nearly sent him jumping out of his newly regained skin. A feeling of danger was what crept up on him in Michelangelo’s room, and he was certain that the pages on that comic book flipped while he was in there.

The feelings, while abating somewhat while he was out of the room, never completely left. The rat’s room was the last personal space he had to check, and he slid the rickety screen to the side, stepping foot in there.

It was dark, and minimalistic, and he felt like he was entering an animal’s lair. Not because of the decor, no. It was the same way that the other feelings had crept up on him. It sent a shiver down his spine—and some part of him did enjoy feeling that again—and Stockman decided to take a step back and out of the room.

Suddenly, a wind whipped through the room, so hard it sent Stockman’s coat fluttering. The candles that were left nearly burnt out suddenly burst to life. Stockman took a step back, only to have the wind rush at him again, angry and hot. Stockman turned and fled out of the room, only to stop when a row of throwing stars landed at his feet, sticking in the ground.

Stockman took a step back, and then turned to run. He didn’t get far before he tripped over something, crashing to the ground. Picking himself up, he turned to see what it was, only to feel a sense of horror when he saw a wooden staff wrapped in purple disappear into the shadows.

“No—no, impossible, I—” Stockman scrambled to his feet, running towards the entrance he had come through.

He didn’t make it far before a sai flew out from the other side of the room, nearly catching him in the face. Stockman stumbled back, nearly falling down again, and turned to try to race in a different direction. He paused behind a pillar, only to duck as a pair of swords came at him. Fleeing again, he headed towards the entrance, only to find himself falling down as his feet became entangled in something else.

This time, when Stockman turned to look, he flinched and gasped. Picking up the nunchuck that he had tripped over was Michelangelo. The turtle made eye contact with him, and then slipped into the shadows.

Suddenly, he heard movement all around him, from the shadows. Whispers of movement, small noises, voices that threatened punishment. He couldn’t pinpoint where they were coming from, and he scrambled to his feet, fleeing out into the sewers. He ran until he couldn’t, and then stopped, panting.

“Safe,” he said. “Safe at last…”

A growling echoed throughout the sewers and Stockman froze, looking up as a monstrous shadow seemed to rise up from the water.

“No! No! Leave me alone! Leave me alone!”

“I don’t think so,” came a voice from behind him, and Stockman whipped around, staring at Michelangelo again. “After all, you wouldn’t leave us alone, would you?”

The figures of the turtles, and their father appeared around him, stepping out from the shadows, weapons held at the ready. Their eyes glinted with the promise of pain. Stockman had nowhere to go. He was surrounded. The growling turned into a roar, and the mutant crocodile lunged at him. Stockman screamed, and some part of him cursed his new body and every sensation it felt as the mutants turned all their attention on him.

Michelangelo woke up. He blinked. He reached a hand up, pushing on the blue-tinted clear opening above him, and sat up, pulling the neural interface off of his head. He climbed out of the pod he had been in, shaking himself out a little, and made his way over to the other pod. He stared at the creature in it for a moment, and then pressed a button.

It took a few seconds, but within the pod what was left of the man known as Baxter Stockman woke up. He started when he saw Michelangelo standing over him, and then again when he realized where he was.

“Have a fun dream, Stockman?” Mike asked, swinging his headset around on his finger.

“You!” Stockman said. “But how—” Stockman shook his, well, brain, Mike supposed.

“I broke in here to kill you. And then I found these pods,” Mike said. “I figured out what they could do, so I decided to put them to good use. How did you like being hunted down like an animal? You were already familiar with being slowly taken apart, so that part probably wasn’t as impactful.”

“That’s impossible,” Stockman said. “There’s no way you programmed all of that in yourself! It’s a complex program that relies on billions of data inputs and a highly sophisticated mind!”

Mike leaned in over the pod a bit more. “You see, that’s the thing, Stockman. I’m not as stupid as you think I am. Who do you think helped to maintain things when Donnie died? Who do you think helped keep Raph under control after Sensei passed? Who do you think reigned Leo in when it was only the two of us left? I did. I learned everything I needed to. And in the end, this wasn’t so hard to use. You and the rest of our enemies made a mistake when you left me for last.”

Mike took a step back from the pod and brought a canister up. “You know what this is, don’t you?”

“It’s… an aerosol neurotoxin,” Stockman said. “There’s no cure for it. It’s incredibly painful and causes horrifying and violent hallucinations along with the real-world pain.”

“Yeah. I figured that out from your notes.” Mike bent over and attached it to the pod. “Hope you enjoy it.”

“Wait, no, what are you doing?!” Stockman demanded, banging on the pod from the inside.

Mike kept working. “I’m switching it out for the emergency oxygen. I figured, if I terrified you with my family beforehand, maybe when this kicked in, you’d have to face them and what you did to them all over again.” He finished, and then turned to walk out of the lab.

“Wait, wait, no!” Stockman said. “No, please! I—I only killed one of them! I don’t deserve this!”

“You’re the last of our enemies I had left to take out,” Mike said, turning to look over his shoulder. “I hope you feel what it’s like to be dissected alive, Stockman. That’s what you did to him, after all.”

Mike walked out, leaving Stockman to his screams and pleas. He’d be dead in a few hours, and Mike was more than glad for it. He would just sweep the lab in the meantime, make sure there was no other unfortunate souls trapped here, and then, after Stockman was dead, he’d blow this place sky high. Who knows? Maybe he’d stay to see it happen.

Mikey did not stay to see it happen. He stood with a bouquet of flowers in front of five graves that were under the oaks at the edge of the property. His brothers. His father. Leatherhead. He sighed as he looked down at them.

“So… I finally got Stockman. He’s always been hard to kill, but this time I made sure of it. Trapped him in a pod, sent in a neurotoxin, made sure I saw that he was dead, wiped all of his computers, sent a virus into them and any he had connected, and then blew the place up.” He smirked a little. “You always did say I was good at explosions, Raph. And Don, you’d be proud of that virus. Leo, I went in like a proper ninja, too. Sensei, you’d be proud of me. And LH, I made sure no one else was hurt.”

Mike’s smirk faded a bit, and he knelt at the graves, pulling a few weeds from them, and clearing out the jars that served as vases. “I was ready to go with him. I had a message for April and Casey and everything. I was ready to be buried right here with you all. Well, they probably wouldn’t have been able to get my body, but I think my spirit would have been here.”

He started putting flowers in the jars, trying to arrange them to look nice. April was so much better at it than he was.

“But then some of his research caught my eye. Remember the ooze that mutated us? Well, turns out Stockman had been experimenting with transmat technology, and he’d made some of the same ooze. When he realized that it had mutagenic properties, well, he started experimenting. I wasn’t able to save all of the experiments. Some were… too far gone. But, well…”

Mike paused. “Sensei, you would have been an awesome grandfather. And I’m going to do my best to be as great a father as you were. I’ll do my best by these kiddos, I promise. I promise all of you.”

“Mikey? Mikey, the kids are up!”

Mikey looked over his shoulder at April’s call, and then back to the graves. “I’ll bring them here to meet you one day. But it looks like I need to go take care of things. I… I miss you. But hopefully we can all live in peace now. That’s how I want to raise these kids anyway.”

“Mikey!”

“I’ll be back later. I love you all.”

Mike stood up and gave the graves one last look before he turned to head back to the farmhouse. He had gone in with the goal of killing Stockman and taking that one final step into joining his family. He’d left with a new family and a will to live. Hopefully, he be able to do right for this next generation of Splintersons.

Naturally, that only made Nobunaga more curious about you, he wanted to understand what was it about you that gave him this… strange feeling. Well, eventually your true form was revealed.

It was by pure accident, you were inside a hot spring to relax, completely with your guard down. Your fox ears and tails free since you didn’t think anyone would enter at that hour. But…

“Hoh, seems like I was right about you.” Nobunaga had just entered the hot spring and found you there, completely exposed with your secret out.

you better expect a million and one questions coming from this man, because he is curious about you. After all, he never particularly believed in the supernatural until now.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

He doesn’t know why, but something about you strikes trouble to him. And that sense of trouble was all too familiar, he had that feeling with Mitsuhide. But why did you also gave him that feeling? Because of it, Hideyoshi was extra cautious around you, paying attention to every single thing you did. Even the way you smiled reminded him of Mitsuhide.

When the truth was revealed, it was by choice, you felt like maybe he would feel less paranoid if he learned of your true identity… but the opposite happened. So he was right! If you were a Kitsune and gave off the same vibe as Mitsuhide, did that mean that he was one? So many questions answered but so many appeared at the same time…

“Just… don’t cause trouble and be a good girl, we already have enough of one kitsune around here.” He would say that as he patted your head, and, accidentally, your fox ears as well.

Mitsuhide Akechi.

Hoho, it would be a surprise if he didn’t realize it. Your presence alone told him that something about you just wasn’t human, and some of your actions were a bit… familiar. Many speculate that he could be a Kitsune, and he likes to leave that in the air just for the entertainment of it. But you didn’t even seem to notice that people think the same thing about you, and they are right about it.

The revelation was an accident… at least that’s what you think. Mitsuhide has been trying to get an opportunity to see if his theory was right, he even felt silly about actually wondering if you really weren’t human. In the end, he was right. The moment you let your guard down, he is finally able to prove his theory right. Naturally you would be angry and shocked that he has already found out, and Mitsuhide doesn’t look much shocked to see your true form.

“And they call me a Kitsune. I wonder what their reactions would be to find out that dear little mouse was the real Kitsune here.” He loved teasing you about it, specially because it was supposed to be a secret.

Uesugi-Takeda alliance.

Kenshin Uesugi.

To be fair… he didn’t suspect that much at first, Kenshin didn’t pay much attention to you at first so he didn’t suspect of your identity. But that all changed when you suddenly protected him… in your true form. It was half accident half intentional, you didn’t mean to actually reveal yourself like that, you two were walking together but suddenly got surrounded by ronins. Kenshin was taking them all on, but you noticed that he would get attacked from behind. This was nothing that Kenshin couldn’t handle, he had already noticed the enemy approaching from behind, and yet you didn’t hesitate to just jump right in and use your abilities to save him.

He just… stared at you, the bandits ran away out of fear when they saw you, but Kenshin could only gaze at you in awe. Perhaps it was because of how beautiful you were when attacking someone, it took him a while to get back to his senses and talk to you like nothing much happened.

“This form… I will keep it a secret, but only because I don’t want anyone to see how beautiful you truly are.” He would actually smile at you as he said that.

Shingen Takeda.

Shingen is always calling you angel, goddess, celestial maiden, all kinds of pet names that were divine in some way, little did he know that you truly weren’t human, much less a Kitsune. Now, he had already noticed something about you was different, you truly seemed like a divine being on earth to him. Everything about you seemed unique and special, it surely attracted him to you.

When he found out about your true form, it was accidental. You were getting ready to sleep when he suddenly entered your room to gaze at the moon. He knocked, mind you, but you didn’t seem to have noticed, so he got worried and entered the room to see if everything was ok. He stopped moving the moment he saw you, with fox ears and tails. You looked… beautiful, he was right about you being divine. He was head over hills for you.

“To think, that all this time I was right about you being a celestial being. Perhaps I should call you something else rather than goddess.” He will look like a moonstruck boy as he gazes at you.

Pitch for a Hawkeye sequel miniseries:

Main Story:

On Earth-4444, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Hawkeye and Black Widow (who both have masks on) track down the notorious vigilante known as “Ronin” to Stark Industries. During the middle of their fight, Clint accidentally activates one of Tony’s prototypes, which sends him and Ronin into the MCU. 

That’s when we see that something is...off about Hawkeye. The moment Earth-4444 Hawkeye removes his mask, we see that it’s not Jeremy Renner. Instead, it’s “Agents of SHIELD” alumni Iain De Caestecker. In order to make it back home and stop Ronin, 4444-Hawkeye tracks down his MCU counterparts.

The rest of the miniseries is a buddycop dramedy centered around the three Hawkeyes (Clint 1, Clint 2, and Kate Bishop) trying to stop Ronin and finding a way to send Clint 2 back to his own universe. 

Other Notes:

1) The main theme of this season of “Hawkeye” is a deep dive into Clint Barton as a character. Compared to MCU Clint, 4444-Clint is supposed to represent the 616 counterpart (womanizer, human disaster, constantly joking around, etc.). What we end up learning is that, despite the huge differences in personality, MCU Clint is a lot more like 4444-Clint than he thinks. It’s the fact that MCU Clint is incredibly traumatized and has a family that he turned out very different than 4444-Clint and 616-Clint. 

2) Ronin is an original character but is played by Scarlett Johansson. So, Ronin is supposed to be more of a symbolic villain in that MCU Clint has to fight someone who has MCU Natasha’s face. 

3) Iain’s casting here is intentional. It’s to establish that certain people in other universes can look different (ex.: Tobey, Andrew, Tom are all Peter Parker). 

4) Leo Fitz is referenced at least once in the miniseries. MCU Clint points out that 4444-Clint looks like a former colleague of his who has since retired and settled down (this revelation can also work as a tie-in to MCU Clint Barton’s character arc). 

5) In case if it isn’t obvious, 4444-Natasha Romanoff is played by Elizabeth Henstridge as an obvious reference to “Agents of SHIELD”. So, imagine Jemma Simmons but with red hair. She only appears twice in the miniseries; once in the beginning and then at the end when 4444-Clint returns to his universe. 

6) Just for fun, since Renner Clint has the modern Hawkeye costume, imagine Iain Clint using the classic Hawkeye costume (the one with the H on the forehead).

sorry i can’t shut up abt ultor AU rn cuz like there’s so many things that would change in sr2 if this happened:

dex and anteros plotting julius’ death together. having it play out like revelation but instead anteros acts like he’s been tricked by dex and for julius to suggest they work together only for anteros to turn on him instead. for julius to realize in his final moments that dex and anteros had plotted this together. those two, together, of everyone, getting the upper hand.

troy taking dex’s role as the one paranoid he’s gonna be killed. and if we gonna go full anteros being cypher, have anteros take him out. johnny/the saints never believing troy when he tried to warn them that anteros had switched sides, with that doubt from them inevitably costing his life.

if we have carlos more or less take the role of playa (but have johnny be The Boss), how would that change things w the brotherhood? carlos may be more unsure when it comes to the offer maero makes, but i don’t think johnny would be too into it. he’d also want more than maero’s offering. similarly how would the ronin storyline be impacted? i want this to be a carlos and aisha live AU cuz aisha shouldn’t have died in the first place don’t get me started on that again

all that said. after the murder of dane, dex and anteros would still be plotting eric’s death too. eric would still go to the saints for protection.

and if we wanna go even further. could this end w dex and anteros leaving for the syndicate/morningstar??

Ronin is, simply put, sopping wet. He’s much more shy and timid compared to his wife, and tends to handle the paperwork of the business. Yes, I have a favorite, what about it? He’s quite gentle and is known for his caring demeanor. He and his wife also own the mansion a certain OC story of mine takes place in ;D

She started with a somewhat warped sense of morality- having far too much confidence in herself as a good person, and far too quick to assume the worst of others. And then she was pulled out by a strange little child name Romy who is now her son. Love this woman.

How do you think elderly Taang would handle becoming grandparents? How would they react to their grandchild?

Hi Ronin! Hope all is well, and thank you for the ask!

Good question, and rather appropriate, because it’s been a while since I’ve chatted about Taang headcanons and I miss my dunebabies LOL.

So since it’s been a while, my main dunebabies include Lin, Gyatso, Suyin, and Kenji. I don’t necessarily go into grand dunebaby details because I like the idea of leaving that up to one’s imagination, but I think it’s possible that all the dunebabies grow up to have families of their own.

Su seems like the first dunebaby to have kids, and she probably starts her family relatively young. I think at first, Aang would freak out a bit, only because Suyin is a baba’s girl and so he’s a little overprotective with her. Toph on the other hand would probably know that Su is pregnant before she even realizes it haha! Toph is pretty relaxed about it all, but she makes sure that Suyin is happy about this revelation and whatnot. Having a kid young is tough work, so Toph just checks in with her baby girl.

Overall I think Toph and Aang would be very happy and supportive of Suyin! She doesn’t necessarily live in Republic City anymore, so they don’t get to see her often when she’s preparing for the baby’s arrival. I can imagine that Toph and Aang visit Su once the baby is born, and that’s when it hits them that they’re grandparents.

Aang would definitely get emotional. He’d think about the passage of time, he’d think about when Suyin was first born and what that was like for both him and Toph, and he’d think about the future, how this baby will grow up and how they’ll interact with their aunts and uncles and future children that come along the way. He’d get swept up in all of it, especially when he holds the baby for the first time.

Toph would likely feel the same way. After all, she did marry the sentimental Twinkletoes, his personality rubs off on her just a bit LOL. But she keeps her feelings at bay, and no one really notices that she thinks and feels all the same things that Aang is feeling when they hold their first grandchild. I think her mind would also wander to the thought of the Air Nation being reborn through their family, and she smiles at the thought of Aang’s heritage and culture continuing on as the generations continue.

As far as how they interact with the baby as they get older? Well, Toph and Aang like to spoil their grandkids in things and experiences, mostly to bother the kid’s parents LOL. Toph and Aang love spoiling the kid and they love getting under Suyin’s skin. It’s all in good fun, of course, no boulder are thrown post-teasing/rule breaking session.
