Very pointless Mommadora and Finn fluff for the prompt, Giant (222 words) after the jump

“So the villagers slept peacefully, thinking they were safe.” Finn added the last of the stick people they’d made to the mud village, and set up the their They-Ra figure at top of the tall tower. “But then… the giant came.”

Nothing happened.

They cleared their throat. “I said, ‘the giant came.’”

Still nothing. How did this keep happening? Finn turned to Princess Arrow, who was occupied with covering her painting with more glitter than Finn had thought existed in on the entire planet.

“Ari? Can you…”

“Sure.” She gave Finn a moment to cover their ears before unleashing a loud, “Hey, Aunt Adora!”

The princess of Bright Moon was very good at being loud.

“Wha—“ Mommadora startled, nearly falling off her lounge chair. The grown-ups were taking turns babysitting while they were on vacation and, so far, Mommadora had spent most of her shift napping.

“Giant,” Ari said at a normal volume, before returning to the world’s most sparkly unicorn craft.

“Oh. Right.” Finn’s mom yawned, dragged herself off the lounge chair and turned into She-Ra. “I am going to stomp you!”

“No, you’re not!” They-Ra called, but not too loud because not everyone likes big noises. Finally, they’d gotten to the really fun part of the game, the big battle. They-Ra lifted their sword high. “For the honor of Theyskull!”
